There was so much power.
Enough of which had her wonder why someone like Caesar, who she knew to have far more power than the Queen of Demons, and had made himself into an actual god, couldn't give her this much. She had tasted a bit of his blood once before, and while the euphoria that followed from it was great, this had been beyond incredible. For days, ever since she had used a transformation she allowed to overtake her, she had been surrounded by nothing but a void of white.
It felt like she was floating, waiting for something, but not once had she heard a single voice or anything from the outside world, come and speak to her. There was no living in a fantasy world where things were somehow different for her, revealing some kind of sorrow or regret that she had, and what her life could have been in another universe. It was just emptiness. Dull. Monotonous. And there was nothing that she could have really done about it to break out.
Any kind of struggling that she did, it was all pointless. She was stuck in this void with no view of herself beyond what was in front of her. Exhaustion held onto her as well, her muscles feeling light and weak, as if she had lacked energy, though she herself had knew far well she couldn't have still been on earth. The very last thing she had remembered before everything had gone dark, were those eyes of pure hatred from the Queen of Demons to her.
One which she didn't share at all. It would have been both unnecessarily stubborn and foolish, to ever be angered at the Demon Queen. Someone who was in charge of beings who held an inherent evil inside of them, and who she could use to kill off those she didn't wish. This anger that was shown to her, relief was the only thing she remembered feeling in that void, knowing the very possibility that the swordsman might have been the wrath of that woman.
For someone like her, who was once nothing more than an earthling, to get on the bad side of the Queen of Demons, only meant that she must have still been acting for good. The best that swordsman could have knew, was that she couldn't take that woman's life, which was already asking a lot of someone like her.
Not because she was some holy spirit of good, but because the few events in her life that she viewed to be important, she had so fervently avoided really killing anyone at all, just to prove a point. Beings like the demons who could die to her, or even the dumbest of the dumb, it wouldn't have mattered if they were killed. It wouldn't likely be by her, without some witness or declaration it was a justified kill, but the idea was, they were wrong.
Those individuals she had met in her life, who had so adamantly believe she wasn't capable of a discussion prior, and were delusional enough to make empty promises, they were all wrong. She had proved them all wrong. What happened with the Demon Queen, everything that day was supposed to lay her grievances to rest. She had gotten two of those individuals killed, proving them to be nothing more than stubborn fools, and the demons attack on the city, she had knew it to be successful with the swordsman's fall. Things were supposed to move forward, and their deaths that she had been waiting for let go of.
At the very least, until she had seen them again. No matter what thoughts had played in her mind though as she had waited, eyes closed near the entire process, not even any strange sounds had appeared to her, proving another belief to go into the trash. It was all just still nothing. Something that had made her continue to twist and turn her head, as if it would even remotely help at all. Though she wasn't even sure just when her surroundings came back.
All she knew was the power that filled her as she had awoken, and the sight of her cousin being reminded of just how heavy being around higher power could weigh down someone. She had assumed long ago the pain must have felt like her experience with the swordsman, one of the reasons why even after training her body to withstand the pain and recall the feeling of something better, she still wasn't eager to face him as some kind of enemy. Nor did she believe she had to. People so often continued to believe that their own beliefs were right, they never tended to buy the idea that they could have possibly been wrong.
She was always having to explain herself, and what kind of person that she was. Because they couldn't grasp that someone of her power, and who still had the potential to rise even greater, could ever be conscientious enough to have some form of empathy. That it was too simple in their tragic upbringings, how someone like her could care about just business, and made decisions along with actions for business, which results would have benefited her in some way.
There was always some morality to it that they had to impose, and she was just so tired of it. The decision to let the demons do what they wish with earth, and moving Capsule Corp along with its employees to a planet like this, had been the foresight of realizing they would require the supplies they had.
How no matter what actions she could take from this day forward, even if the swordsman had came back to life again, they were likely to still depend on Capsule Corp for resources. Namek would hardly have any resources of their desire, and even if they made any efforts to convince the Overseer there for assistance, she still held an ally there who could notify her if there was any plans to go and use the planet's dragonballs to go and restore earth.
A business like this, to have the capability of remaining successful for centuries, knew there needed to be contingencies for situations like these. Like the Saiyans and their endeavors to live on Namek, she and the others here could so easily adapt to the economy that was on this planet if they had to.
The place hadn't been attacked outside of her own influences, and she had essentially conquered the planet herself, knowing she had the power to overthrow the Kold Demon who was nothing more than a scapegoat anyway. Not only to just her, but the alien's own people. This planet had been without a leader for at least a year now, with no other signs of anyone who actually wanted the position. Public rule of this planet was ripe for the taking, but it required subtly and the Kold Demons of this planet's own refusal to deal with the possibility of an underlying issues. To try and pretend to remain neutral.
Within the hour of her waking up, and being assisted by her cousin, there had been so much more movement than ever before. While her eyes were closed, waiting for the feeling in her limbs to properly return, she was fed water and time had passed just enough for her to regain her voice again.
All of this power had felt so incredible. Something she never would have figured she would feel, from just drinking some blood from the Queen of Demons. Corruption wasn't what she had believed in, having taken measures since first meeting Caesar, and knowing full well she was likely to still be above any natural power of that woman. But the thing that she was interested in the most, and had urged for, was an approximate calculation of her newfound power.
She knew without a doubt that she had surpassed the power he ever held. But what she had saw through one of her more advanced scouters was just how much she had grown from that feeding. It was much too early to really tap into the power she held within her, but there didn't need to be advanced calculations to guess that it was strong. Enough to assert that the value she had to the King of Demons, would still remain to be high, and more than pay back a foolish mistake of believing she could ever be betrayed by them, without there being dire losses on their side. She alone could guarantee their extinction.
Though supposedly, the King of Saiyans had held even more power. To that Elemi she had met some time ago, Caesar was nothing in comparison, and she had no reason not to believe that this was a lie. Someone of even higher power, was actually out there, and yet that foolish man was the one people had feared.
It was good to be able to chuckle again, and while she was briefed by what her allies had been up to during what had apparently been a comatose state of three days, she had also started planning their next course of action. She was never going to really tire of planning, unless it had become so clear to her that things were getting nowhere. And after being absent from life for three days, the last thing she had wanted was not to talk about what to do next.
At least another hour had been passed before she had properly taken care of herself, and yet her mind had continued to relish in the power that she held right now. It should have really felt like there was no more room for her to grow, but even if she hadn't remembered the King of Saiyans supposedly held even more power than her, all of this just reminded her of when she had access to Refined Control and first learned she could never drink enough blood.
Only, instead of the realization that an endless supply of blood would never satisfy her, it felt as if she could continue to grow in power, and there was no end to how much. Of all the things in the universe that she could have been exhausted by and tire of, the idea of growing in power had been one of those things she saw to be a high possibility, knowing that so many other Vampires before her had retired from doing so. The most ancient of Vampires could have grabbed the position of Queen from her, and yet she was left unchallenged, along with being given the opportunities to use them for the occasional advice.
Now here she was, renewed with the feeling that she was still able to achieve so much more. That there was still something for her to strive after, beyond what power that Caesar had showed off, and what she knew for him to have. Throughout what time had passed from the moment she had woken up, to now, she had taken moments to close her eyes, and really take in the feeling of being conscious again. Maybe if she had been much weaker, and had such a fragile mindset, she might not have woken up. But there was such a huge difference between dreaming, and what she had knew for sure to be something that was reality.
Nothing that she had ever felt prior, could have been so clear to her that this feeling wasn't wrong. She had surpassed Caesar's power, and in order to get on the path of becoming a god like him, she had to prepare for the ritual. Both her Majin and Saiyan ally had been present at the ritual, and according to the former as she had looked through the clothes in her closet, they had been rather neglected at the event, by anyone who wasn't a relative.
The only one who had seemed to notice, had been the blonde swordsman she still held spite for, Cambia. To the rest, it had been nothing but a family reunion for them, and even Toru, who they had talked to far more than the Saiyan Overseer, hadn't batted an eye to it all. She had proven that day, that without her around, these two couldn't establish a proper presence. Her own Saiyan ally couldn't have asserted that she could have easily been one of the Saiyans they had needed to turn the Saiyan Overseer into a god himself. She held some spite for this, but it also wasn't anything she found to be surprising.
Those Saiyans were always going to pay no mind to anyone but their own. Someone who was of their true blood, rather than the face of a Saiyan girl who used to be nothing more than a feral child, unable to speak more than a sentence or two. Supposedly, the girl had changed a bit since then.
But the same had gone for the Majin. The girl's features were so obviously mixed with what she recognized to be the parts of a Kold Demon. Bio armor where there used to be nothing but pink flesh, and those markings that Kold Demons held beneath her eyes. She looked different, though she could still see traces of the girl that she had recruited back then. The first person who actually believed that she could be a good leader, and was willing to follow her.
"It might have been awhile since I was told about how the ritual worked, but it's still a weird technique towards godhood."
Back when she had been a new Vampire, and had much less control over not only the thirst for blood, but also her own strength, she had nightmares that depicted the path to power would have led to the massacre of her own allies. It didn't matter if there was a certain gap between. Each and every new person that had came into her life, she saw herself killing. It was only after gaining Refined Control, did those nightmares stopped repeating what was a delusion.
These fears of hers had made an appearance again, when she had first tracked down Caesar in his village of illusions, but by then, it was nothing she couldn't laugh off. Why would it matter if those who were important to her had died? With how long she had wanted to live, they were going to leave her anyway. It was one of the reasons why she still had an ongoing Android project, that would rebuild replicas of those she had knew, gathering what data she could to make it as accurate as she had could. Still, she knew inside it was nothing more than a poor substitute from those who were real people.
No matter how much intelligence these Androids she had the help of building, could develop as time had passed, the moment that they were destroyed, they would no longer be the same machine. She could regather the data and recreate them, but who they were before, they would only falsely believe they were never destroyed in the first place. Though she wasn't one to hold back the truth, and that route and what lies it could hold, they were below her.
This ritual to godhood and its methods, she had been informed of days before the invasion on West City had even began. Not only did she know for a fact to even have a success, she likely needed to be around Caesar's power, but she also now knew from the findings of these two, that she needed five other beings of her own kind. And after gathering them together, they were meant to hold hands and transfer their ki to her, in order to even start the ritual.
She had attempted it several times prior since learning about the news, failing each time, no matter the combination of Vampires she had asked to assist her. But now, she was so assured that it wouldn't fail if she had tried again. Caesar might have wished to be a god, but the Overseer and the King of Saiyans himself, had both proved that wasn't necessary. This entrance into godhood, it would be the very thing cementing her place in this universe.
"You say that as if I'm the one who came up with it in the first place."
Looking through the wardrobe herself, a walk-in closet that the average girl could only dream of having, she could really hear the change in the tone that the Majin had now had, since absorbing several Kold Demons into her. There was a sense of politeness there, that she also noticed had a charm to it.
The sleeve of her clothes she could hear being touched, while she looked around for herself, the image of what she had bought so many months then, coming back to her. With how her different forms changed her body, while also materializing clothes fitted for her subconscious, it was never a bad idea to get different sizes. For this ritual though, there was one specific dress she had in mind, where her whole right leg was covered down to her feet.
"But I'm right of course."
There was a bit of a pause as she had smiled at the Majin, who rolled her eyes, as she had picked something from the closet for herself. With how malleable their bodies were, they could essentially also share each other's clothing. It wasn't like she didn't have enough for them both to have choose.
Part of her wardrobe in the first place, at least for the early part of her life as a new Vampire, the Majin had also helped her pick out. When it had came to Majins, there were a lot of things that she had said around the girl, and had also directly told of time and time again. It was real odd if you listened to it, knowing it seemed so xenophobic, and as if she wouldn't ever want a Majin around her. But you really couldn't argue against the facts.
And that was the idea that when a Majin was created, they had to absorb intelligence in order to start the path to forming coherent thoughts. It was why Saeko, the young Majin she ahd made into an intern, was likely working off of only the intelligence from an absorption of only a couple of humans that she had repressed taking the lives of. Because the typical and new Majin was more likely to lay in a field of flowers with petals on their faces, than actually talk with any reason behind their words. And it wasn't as if the Majin didn't have anything she didn't like about Vampires and their habits either.
"It's going to be so stupid having to stand like this."
For a moment, she had turned her body back, knowing the others were supposed to have her hands on there, earning a chuckle out of the Majin girl. That dress that was being held up in front of the girl's body, was the alien's style exactly. But she never had a problem with picking what she liked either.
"No one doing that is ever not going to look stupid. You're really tempting me to bring a camera or something."
After seeing that she had saw it, the Majin had absorbed the dress into her body, instantly wearing it. She could tell with that bio-armor in place though, that the alien was purposely covering and sinking in that new physiology, to hide the fact that she would forever have armor within her. The girl's own punishment for getting rid of that urge she had. The issue was one of the reasons why what she often dealt with herself, made it easy for them to relate to each other. More than she really allowed it to be obvious, within the public eye. There was nothing she had to hide, and they both knew how she was.
"It's supposed to be a celebration, so go for it. Just don't get a bad shot of me."
From the corner of her eye, she had seen peeking out from the different sets of clothing, the color of what she was looking for. The dress was navy blue, and did so well in giving her the kind of style that would have people staring at her legs. She was usually pretty conservative for the most part, often wearing leggings in the first place, but as the girl was seeing, all she had really slipped on were some shorts to wear underneath.
It would have been foolish not to, knowing how much she would want a fight. To test the power that she not only had in her base now, but also see the length she could go to, after acquiring this new power. How much her power would jump up, would be documented by the scouters she had in her possession.
"If you can pay attention, I doubt anyone could really get a bad shot of that."
It felt different, wearing a dress without any leggings underneath it, but it was a change that she had saw was necessary. With this kind of power, she needed to be comfortable wearing what she had wanted, knowing there weren't too many people who would actually be able to go up against her.
Though it also sold the idea of how much more interested she was in business, wearing this kind of thing. This kind of outfit was meant for gatherings, and seeing this outfit materialize whenever she had become a god, was going to surely give some benefit of the doubt. She would at least hope so.
"So how is it, being like that? Is it better than the last few times?"
The Majin had started doing some basic stretching with her arms after the compliment, neither of which the two of them were willing to acknowledge beyond just that, but turned to eye her again at the question she had raised. There had been no sigh or anything from her, traits that she remembered the girl would have showed months before, when she had willingly stationed herself on Namek. Though a smile did appear from the alien just a moment later.
"It's different, but I wouldn't really say it's better. I can hear the thoughts of these two inside of me, but I guess with them around, I don't really feel like absorbing anyone anymore, yeah."
It wasn't anything the girl hadn't revealed to her before, the first having been a human girl that she had absorbed. There was some other ones within the girl supposedly, but their voices were either nonexistent, or didn't seem to be as vocal as the ones who were currently affecting the alien right now.
The raised brow that was given to her, said enough that the question was being returned, her eyes briefly closing, as they started to walk out of the closet and lean agaisnt the walls of her room. The whole place had been placed near the palace of the old emperor, which although hadn't seen any use, a couple of Kold Demons seemed to patrol the place pretty often enough to clean it. Might have been either one of their duties or the belief that he would come back.
She had lowered her power level until it had been abysmal, sneaking past them as a bat, while the Majin had only walked past, already being a familiar face to them. The sight of the girl showed what word must have gotten around, and the mansion's appearance could be explained as the alien living here herself.
Although as soon as their planned guests had arrived, this would all be announced as a farce. A public takeover was going to happen by the end of today, as there was no way she would be able to hide the power of a god. The Kold Demons would just have to put up with it all, as they usually gone and did.
"A lot like the first time I was a Countess, only the feeling of endless power. So it's pretty nice."
They were both dressed now, and not long after choosing to rest against the walls of her room, she had pulled her phone out to take a look at what the others had been ordered to do. One of the demons had already been told this would be where they were hiding. she wasn't dead, so that proved she hadn't gotten betrayed. So that demon and possibly some others she might not have met, was supposed to have showed up here, and dressed for the occasion.
Though she had been told one of the others had already spoke of the possibility beforehand, that she would want to talk to them when she had woke up, and how they would still have to dress well for themselves anyhow. This was business they were supposed to have here, and maybe some fun.
Those who were going to be apart of the ritual, were already setting things up within the palace now. That Elemi that she had also met months ago, was supposed to be around to support her, as apart of their agreement. The girl had been the reason she even had Lithi working under her anyway.
There was a lot of mess there that happened with the alien, but nothing she couldn't get to later.

(Meant to occur three days after the tournament. Kuroko was already told Planet Bris was where they were hiding, back in the Dawn Thread. Assumingly, she and the other Demons would have also been informed another talk would have been necessary, and to dress well regardless of the outcome. They’re likely to also be contacted by one of her allies who has telepathy. The same goes for Cryonia. Mechanically, Touka (50%), Yukari (50%), Mylel (25%), Mako (25%), and Juri (25%) will be used in the thread. All of her allies however, will gather to see the ritual themselves.)
