(Not sure where to put this, But I'd like to start on Salad, and have the advanced scouter the tuffle race offers)
Personality
Brazen and arrogant to a fault, Tekla, or Robbins as she refers to her pirate self as really doesn’t understand why things go wrong for her. She does have an easy scape goat however, she tends to blame the stupid men in her life for anything and everything. A piece of mechanism went wrong, blame the male assistant. Got told an idea is too dangerous, clearly the man involved was too stupid to understand how carefully she accounted for the variables and would prevent that danger from occuring.
Her biggest want is her own freedom in any regard, hating on her own kind for being a little too imposing on what she considers to be her own genius, though in terms of tuffles she’s only a little over average in her mental capacity. She loves machinery and tinkering, always trying to improve that which is around her without really pausing to think if she should, only if she could. Having been in the Universe for a little while now, she’s already gotten over the issue of her height, mostly by ignoring it or claiming that the lack of oxygen up there must be making them stupider.
Her biggest weakness is being told that something that is hers, or an idea that she has developed is stupid in any way, she loses her calm and turns into an angry little rage monster, trying to mercilessly bludgeon the other person with whatever is to hand until she calms down and relaxes again. Usually before she’s inflicted any serious bodily harm. Well, unless the other person is a lot weaker than her at any rate.
When "disguised" As robin, Tekla acts something akin to the stereotype she perceives all men to be, this varies a little from place to place. But generally like this she's a dick to women, rude to other men and often drunk. Though she avoids just hitting on women, she wouldn't know what to do if she actually succeeded.

Backstory
Tekla had a mixed upbringing, the girl was part of a nice normal family, they weren’t particularly rich or powerful. But it was a certain level of freedom that allowed her to chase her own interests, and that interest was in the worlds of technology. Planet Plant was a wonderful place for that kind of thing, being the advanced world that it was and granted anyone studious any number of opportunities to learn and advance in a craft. Unsurprisingly then Tekla started to look at cybernetic implants.
She tended to walk into some trouble with her parents due to her lack of precautions, or any sort of concern for safety, her first attempt at modifying herself resulted in her removing her own eyeball and switching it out for something she had created and had done zero testing for. Much to her folks surprise, it worked as intended. She mostly brushed off his complaints as him just bothering her for being female. A weird jump in logic to be sure but it seemed to be the only thing she could pin on why he be upset that she had performed a successful modification.
This continued to be the path for Tekla for several years. Performing dangerous and uncaring modification on herself and anyone willing to undergo them. Most if not all of them were a success and yet she was always in trouble, or being slammed over her methods and she began to become more and more jaded towards the male population. She begun to feel locked down, oppressed. That may or may not have been due to her making attempted modifications to her own brain and being a little bit crazy and just blaming the weird feelings and scoldings from her father over her reckless experimentation.
So she took it into her head to leave world, acquiring a cheap ride to just get her somewhere else. The transport she was on however, was stricken by lowly group of space pirates, she wasn’t exactly the heroic type and watching the rather clumsy nature of the pirates just annoyed her. That and she had a nice laser weapon that she had been dying to test out. The slaughter did make people rather happy but once again some arrogant man tried to chide her, to inform her that she shouldn’t have just killed the poor saps. Something in her just snapped and she stormed off and onto the pirates ship, claiming it as her own and setting out with no idea what she was going to do. But no one was going to be the boss of her any more.
It didn’t take long for her to find more pirates, it was amazing just how many folk wanted their own freedom as much as she did. She refused to listen to anyone that claimed to be in charge and instead did her own thing, leading any that were stupid enough to follow her. She made a bit of a terrible pirate for the most part. Her targets being anything she felt she could use to create more of her technology and body modifications. Those that stayed were usually her experimental victims, allowing her to progress in her own research, but they were on the other hand some of the best equipped pirates in the area, being armed with whatever weird and quirky weaponry she had devised that week.
Thus is Tekla, or rather Robin as she went under, most that know her assume she’s male and she took great plans to keep things that way, a large coat that’s ever so slightly to big for her hiding her natural shape. Her voice sounding mostly whatever she feels like due to replacing her voice box with something that’s more fun to use, keeping her hair short. Little things like this to needlessly hide the short tuffle’s true identity. It also means she can roam around as herself and not be mistaken for the dread pirate Robin. Though it normally requires her to swap out a few of her implants to make sure that the obvious visible segments aren't a giveaway.
