Getting to Know Another [Kingdom]

Everything was almost ready to depart. All the tents were already gone and the only thing standing where the three ships of the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom, the Star Javelin, the Heaven's Arrow and the Brave Vesperia.

Some soldiers were still roaming around getting some boxes and putting them inside the ships, but most of the high power levels were already inside the ships. One bald saiyan was walking around, wearing his orange armour and he had a serious expression on his face. He seemed to be just watching to see if everything was in order, but as his scouter beeped, indicating the approaching power level of ten thousand, he turned his face towards Beat and saw the young boy carrying the box.

Pepper

"Hey boy." he greeted. As he spotted the tail, he knew he was a saiyan and Pepper was usually more friendly than most saiyans when addressing his own kin. "I'm Captain Pepper, Pilot of the Star Javelin and Head Pilot of the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom, but if you are looking for someone above my clearance level, I can call them." he simply stated, pressing the button on his scouter and opening a line with the one a rank above his that was closer, which was Luffa. "Major Luffa. There's a boy here wanting to talk to a higher up. Could you come here?" he asked and shortly after that he nodded and pressed the button again. "Well, Major Luffa is coming. Who might you be, boy?" he asked, resting his hands by the side of his torso.

Pepper's tone was quite neutral, but still mildly friendly. Quite the opposite from what some people would've expected from the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom. But immediately after he said that, another saiyan approached, younger in looks with a Mohawk and a green scouter.

Cabba

"Captain Pepper, sir. Who is that boy?" he asked as he approached. This saiyan was holding a box in his hands. The bald one stared at him and shook his head. "Cabba! You've been promoted! Now we hold the same rank, so address me like an equal!" and as he reprehended the younger saiyan, he blushed. "I... I'm still getting used to it!" and as he said that the bald one smirked and nodded. "Then get used to it already! Hehehe!" and if anything, they seemed to be good friends.

The bald one stared at Beat and arched one of his brows. "You meant to say Chancellor Miso?" he corrected the boy, and when he spoke about Luffa's supposedly young age, the Mohawk one blinked twice in disbelief. "Major Luffa is... Nineteen..." he added in a shy tone. Shortly after that poor remark, the boy introduced himself as a member of the Remnants and Cabba nodded, acknowledging that, but Pepper just further arched his one brow. "I don't remember you back from Natto, so I assume you are a new face. And by the way... "Lady" Fennle likes Commander Fennle better." he said in a bit of a salty tone, and Cabba quickly nodded. "Commander Fennle can be a little scary, so be mindful of your manners with her..." and he gulped, looking around nervously as if she could appear out of thin air, but to his relief, she did not.

When he spoke of Negi, Pepper narrowed his eyes. "You seem to be well familiar with some of the known names from our ranks. Are you here to spy?" he asked with an inquisitorial tone, but Cabba approach and touched his shoulder pad. "Pepper, I don't think he means to pry..." the younger one added, and the bald one folded his arms. But before he could further inquire Beat's goals, the footsteps of Luffa could be heard. Both saiyans turned around to look at him as he calmly walked towards Beat with a carefree expression and with his tail swaying from one side to the other.

Luffa

"Oh, you are the Legendary Super Saiyan that was fighting with us!" he said with a mildly excited tone. Cabba arched both his brows and widened his eyes in fear, immediately glancing over Beat. "L-legendary Super Saiyan?!" and he was already sweating nervously. Pepper tensed up a bit, but didn't demonstrated fear. "A legendary super saiyan, uhn? This boy?" he wondered. Luffa nodded, confirming that and walked past his allies to stand in front of Beat. "How's it going?" he asked in a friendly tone.

Pepper thought it made sense he was a bit oblivious if he hadn't indeed been raised among saiyans, but he was still in disbelief that a boy like him was a Legendary Super Saiyan, but apparently his claims to have fought alongside Luffa and the others were true, so he decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Regardless, now that Luffa was here, he could take his leave and so he bowed to his superior. "I will head back to the ship, then." and without further due, he turned around and headed to the Star Javelin, but Cabba stayed behind with Luffa.

"Thank you for the parting gifts. I'm not very much into those types of drink, but I know the others will be very happy about it! Cabba, could you please take them to the ship?" he asked, and the Mohawk boy nodded in agreement, promptly heading towards the box and grabbing it effortlessly. "Nice... Nice to meet you, Beat from the Remnants." he politely said before he left, heading to the same ship Pepper went to. As he left, Luffa rested his hands on his hips. "So... Anything I can help you with, Beat?" he asked with a friendly tone and a smile on his face.

Luffa chuckled, swaying his tail from one side to the other. "I mean, we are all about to depart so, if anything, they would think it's someone coming to bid farewell and, since I'm here, they won't be too alerted. Also, Miso knows your energy signature, so he won't bother. Haha... Maybe Fennle will come, but that's okay... Mostly! Hahaha!" he said in a quite carefree tone as Beat unleashed his power and Luffa arched one of his brows, surprised with just how strong the boy truly was. He whistled. "That's quite a lot of power, Beat! I've been training my whole life... Together with Negi... We are long friends and we used to be on the same squad... But I can't even compare to the likes of you guys!" he admitted, chuckling a bit more as he found some consolation with his power situation. Everyone had a role to play and even though he wasn't one of the biggest players, he was still an important member of the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom and he was happy for that.

Beat then revealed the reason he came and to think he witnessed Nasu and Komatsu fighting was something that brought back bittersweet memories. "Ohh... I saw them doing it a few times... It was always very intense. Nasu never lost though." he added with a bit of pride; even though he liked Komatsu and respected him a lot, he was still a saiyan and thus proud of following the strongest, and then his smile widened. "Well... We are the strongest faction, there's no doubt about it. Doesn't mean you Remnants are weak, though!" he said, chuckling a bit more, but then he was caught off-guard by his request of giving some battle tips. It was clear Beat was stronger and more skilled in combat, but Luffa had been into some wars, so he was by far more experienced. He touched his chin in a thoughtful expression. "Tips... Well... You can probably improve your combat mind. You are too focused on duels. You lack war experience. So... Maybe you should train some battles in different scenarios, such as being out-numbered... Oh!" and as he said that he sensed a powerful power level approaching and that made him smirk.

"Maybe we can even try that now. Like I had anticipated, Fennle is approaching! Hehehe!" he announced.

Luffa nodded. "The queen has the same form as you, the legendary form, I mean. And the only one who can keep up with her power and train her is Chancellor Miso. Well... And the King, obviously, but the King was dead so... For that time being, no one else could match her strength, not even Councillor Karota." he explained and, to be completely honest, Luffa feared Kinoko maybe more so than Nasu. When Beat said he should consider growing in the ranks, Luffa chuckled. "Growing is not solely based in power, but also in what you are essentially doing for the faction. I'm sure you are helping enough and putting your life on the line. They ought to recognize that!" he said in a empathetic tone.

Then, Fennle arrived at the fray, with her arms folded, tail hanging free on her back and a superior look on her face. She stared at Beat dead in the eye. "What is this brat doing here, Luffa?" she asked and the smaller saiyan chuckled. "He came to give us some sake and bid our farewell and now he was asking for some tips regarding fighting! Hehehe... I just told him a duel is a duel and war is war and the later is much harder and stuff..." he explained and she nodded, not taking her sharp brown eyes off Beat for a single second; she was studying him from head to toe, like a predator. "Oh, so the little green boy wants to learn how to brawl..." she teased, calling him green as a pun on both his transformation colour and the fact that he was inexperienced.

"I can give him some hell... But if you want to teach war, we can tag along and give him a beat and, who knows, he might learn from it. Hehehe." and her tone was lowkey cruel. Then, without further due, the saiyaness exploded her sparkling golden aura as she ascended immediately to her Super Saiyan 2 form. Luffa followed suite and transformed into his Super Saiyan form, as this was the peak of his power. "If you are scared, you can always run away, little green boy!" she teased him, licking her own lips as she got ready to fight.

Beat's ki exploded and the sheer pressure of it was enough to send gusts of wind all over the place. Fennle seemed unfazed by it as she watched him transform with folded arms, but Luffa had to cover his face because of the force of the wind. As he transformed, his power level skyrocketed above Fennle's Super Saiyan 2 and she clicked her tongue. "The little bastard is stronger than he was there..." she stated and Luffa gulped, nodding in agreement. "He is growing as he fights! His power level is enormous!" and there were some traces of fear in his tone, but Fennle scoffed at that and glanced over towards her ally. "Man up for fuck sake, Luffa! Can't you sense it? The two of us together are stronger than him!" she barked at her friend and he blinked twice, staring at Beat once again and nodding nervously. "Y-yeah!" he exclaimed.

And so it begun.

Beat didn't waste any time and came rushing in, ready to strike Fennle with all of his power. The saiyaness crossed her arms in front of her body to try and block Beat's attack in order to measure his power. The attack was savage enough and Fennle was forced back, skidding on the grassy grounds of Namek, with her sharp teal eyes staring right into his white eyes. But as she blocked it, she slid one of her hands below, opening the palm and aiming to fire a ki blast at almost point blank at Beat's stomach. "Yeah, you can pack a punch, brat!" she roared, with a smirk on her face.

As she did that, Luffa was already ready, positioning himself on Beat's right flank with a blue energy sphere ready to launch. "Spirit Cannon!" he roared, using the Soy School signature technique at the same time Fennle attacked. This was the tricky part of fighting against multiple opponents; one can never focus entirely on one target alone.

"Maybe not so green after all, angry brat!" Fennle teased as Beat managed to move her hand just in time so her ki blast would hit the ground, causing an explosion and leaving a small crater. But Luffa's attack was successful and it hit Beat right on the jackpot, but then again he seemed unfazed by it. Both of them knew of the immunity to pain thanks to Kinoko and Carva, so they were already expecting him to be able to withstand quite some punishment without slowing down. Luffa smirked, proud of the fact that his attack hit the target who was so much stronger than him, but his short moment of pride came to an end as Beat split himself into two and came crashing at the two of them.

"Not good!" Luffa exclaimed as he saw the Legendary Super Saiyan coming with insane speed. The small super saiyan had to focus a lot of his power inside his body to increase his movement speed in order to match that of Beat and dodge his attack. His body vanished the moment the attack was to connect and reappeared about 10 feet above where he was. Sweat ran down his temple. "Too close!" he talked to himself, feeling his heart beating like a drum.

At the same time, Fennle braced herself for what was to come and flaring an aura around her body with quite the ferocity, she dashed against Beat aiming to clash with his attack. "Rebellion Spear!!" she roared as she slammed against his fist. The power of her slam was greater than his punch and she was able to push him backwards. The saiyaness laughed as they were out-maneuvering Beat with their teamwork. "What's so good about this power without the skill to back it up, brat?! You are a train-wreck! Me and Luffa have been fighting together for years! Life and death! Your power alone can't defeat us!" she exclaimed as she attacked.
