Liari wandered through one of the human cities to the East, trying to get reacquainted with the place that had been her home the longest. How familiar it was... The noise, the great amounts of people... and every so often, some jerk in the crowd would try to trip you up, not even going out of his way to avoid a collision... or at least, that's what it felt like. She swore... eventually, she would eventually eat some of these jerks... She didn't care who was watching... Every time one knocked into her, the majin's silver eyes flicked at his/her face, flashing a demon's red... and each time, they fled back into the crowd, thinking that'd save them... And it might've... For as frustrating as it was, Liari didn't have the motivation to chase someone down and cause havoc... she just wanted to get where she was going...
And where was that exactly? Where could this majin need to be in a city full of humans?
Their ice-cream of course! Liari hardly ever came to the city, finding it WAY too noisy to enjoy herself, let alone with all the different ki-signatures here! It made everything so confusing... BUT! Every so often she would drop by if only to get a scoop from this stand... She wondered if the guy remembered him... He was furry for a human... Had his ears on top of his head too with his nose and mouth jutting out from his head almost like a cat-man... But that'd be silly! Cats walked on 4 legs!
As Liari drew close, a smile broke upon her face, seeing her favorite vendor standing there as per the usual, if looking a little taller and buff-er today! The two exchanged words, Liari catching up with her ol' friend(?) but leaving out the part where she died. She knew how humans were skiddish about the whole thing... she didn't want to scare him. With a smile and a wave, the little blue majin left with her favorite in hand: a GIANT cotton-candy icecream waffle-cone, sitting on a bench not to far from her vendor just in case the nostalgia (or was it her hunger) needed more attention.
"Ah... I missed yoooooou!" Liari snickered, running a finger along the cold, creamy scoop before putting it in her mouth. Instantly, the sweet flavor flooded across her tongue, forcing the majin to sigh heavily in pleasure...
"I REALLY missed you..." She whispered again before launching into a feeding frenzy!
Andy exhaled, as he would make his way through the city; it was a little noisy and boisterous, but it was but one part of of this little blue marble in space that he called home. Still, being as he navigated by sound, scent, and ki sense (since his eyes were oftentimes obscured by his fur,) and with there being so much noise, so many smells, and so many people... All three senses were practically being overwhelmed with so much input at once, that Andy would sometimes find himself stumbling a little here and there! Eventually, he'd decide that perhaps relying on those three senses of his was not the most prudent action - and instead, he would part the fur around his eyes the best he could so that he could see as well.
Why was he here though, if he was heading north? Well... Technically, the Eastern lands were sort of along the way - it was a bit of a detour, mostly so that he could see just how much the world had changed since he was last here. Everything seemed mostly the same though, at least from what he could remember - and he supposed that he would move on, after perhaps stopping somewhere for a quick meal. Or, perhaps, when his nose picked up a sweet smell - some dessert? He chuckled a little to himself - really, he was acting like a pup, being so easily distracted by the notion of sweets. Though, it had been awhile since he treated himself; and so he would stop by a nearby ice-cream vendor - a fellow Zoanthrope, he noted pleasantly - and picked up a strawberry ice-cream cone for himself.
It would be around then when he noticed a Majin nearby though - he had been so focused on sight as opposed to his other senses, that it took him a second to notice her, and the sheer life force coming off of her! Another strong individual, he supposed - recalling the Saiyans that he had met in that ramen shop some time ago. He would smile in a friendly fashion at this odd individual though, and approach the bench, asking "Is it alright if I sit here, miss?" in a kind tone, gesturing to the empty spot on the bench next to her. His fur parted, his emerald-green eyes were visible - clearly aged and kind-looking - and he similarly could see the large amount of ice-cream she was devouring. He couldn't help but be faintly amused; someone had a sweet tooth, he thought to himself. WC: 420 (blaze it-)
Liari had already half-destroyed her ice-cream cone by the time the dog-person decided to take a seat beside her, the bubble-gum girl caught off guard by his seemingly sudden appearance here! Wow! He had never seen one of them before... Not up close anyway! That was the thing about earth: It had the weirdest things walking around that called themselves "people"! There were humans (who were the most populous), there were the animal peoples... Strange super-humans with tails called "sayains" and now dog-things! She always wondered how that worked while regular dogs were still a thing. Heck, she even saw a few WALKING dogs! She wondered... were they considered pets... or family? Oh well! Maybe she'd find out one of these days.
"Nobody else is sitting there!" She confirmed with an equally wide smile, tilting her head to the side in confusion. What was stopping him? The off chance she didn't want company? Nonsense! "Nothing's stopping you! Go ahead!" With that, she gobbled down the rest of her ice-cream, whatever remained on her face quickly removed by an almost cartoonishly large tongue licking it all away. She smiled innocently over at the dog... who looked really old all of a sudden... It was kinda weird how that happened. One just had to see someone's eyes and then all of a sudden they looked several years older. Liari pondered if that was a thing that all aging-races had to deal with or if that was universal or what...
"How's your day going, fluffy?" She asked casually, extending a curious hand to touch his obvious and out-there fur. Why shouldn't she? It was right there! It would be like telling her not to touch a big red candy button that was just sitting in the middle of the road... on a park bench!
Andy would chuckle and nod, sitting down next to Liari as he idly licked his ice cream - watching her gobbling down the rest of hers as he did. He was pretty sure he'd seen a couple of individuals like her before, in his travels beyond Earth, though he never did really get to know any of them - nor did he know if they really were the same race; it was interesting seeing how some races were similar yet differently. Regardless though, she was almost like a living cartoon character - something he couldn't help but find somewhat surreal, interesting, and amusing all at once. How exactly did these folk operate, he wondered?
It was when he glanced down to continue enjoying his ice cream though, he was a little surprised to feel a hand stroking his fur, and to hear the girl ask a question. He'd blink for a second, glancing in her direction, before chuckling - it made him think of the occasional children, who would look at him and want to pet the 'big fluffy talking puppy'. He did have his boundaries, however, and he'd gently take her wrist and move her hand up atop his head, just so that he was more comfortable. "Just fine, I thought I'd treat myself a bit, since it's been awhile since I've had any sweets." He started, before continuing "And ah... The petting's perfectly fine, just to clarify - though as a small heads up, I'd prefer if you keep it to my head, if that's alright? It's much more comfortable for me, this way - I'm not used to strangers touching me on the neck, or shoulders, and so on, though children like to pet me on the head on an occasion." He smiled warmly and politely to her, adding "How about you though, miss? Might I ask your name?" WC: 306 TWC: 726
