The festival had proved to be a wonderful idea, Andy would conclude to himself as he stepped down the road at a leisurely pace. The people here were all friendly, and the dancing that he had participated in before was fun - not to mention that he had met two new and equally friendly people in the process, people he wouldn't mind considering acquaintances. Though, when the music had ended and the dancing began to peter out, Andy would have decided to part - so as to enjoy the rest of the festivities. With the talk of scouters that he had overheard between the duo from earlier then though, Andy had begun debating picking one up for himself - having a way to keep in touch with friends seemed nice, especially if they would meet and part as time went on.
Regardless though, his thoughts would eventually drift to the festivities around him, as he noticed an attraction off to the side - 'Fishing', the sign hanging above the stall read - with cute cartoony little images of fishes, fishing poles, and nets. Curious, Andy would approach the stall - politely shuffling past a few other festival-goers - to approach the stall in question. It was pretty open-air, only a brightly colored tarp set up over what he saw to be a large pool of water and a table with some large, plush pumpkins - a man standing by the table. Stepping closer though, peering into the pool, he saw flashes of shiny scales and fins as goldfish swam around the pool, in varying sizes of whites and oranges and blacks. Looking even closer, Andy would swear that he saw a flash of gold as well - which would be about when the man - a human, a fellow earthling - running the stall would clear his throat to get Andy's attention.
"Hello, good sir!" The man would begin, as Andy straightened up to listen to the other "Would you like to play? Just take one of these little nets-" The man paused to gesture to the nets in question. Indeed, looking to them, they were quite small - it seemed like catching a fish with them would be a little difficult. However, he was still curious- and so he kept listening "- and you get three chances to catch a fish, and win a prize! Buuuuut..." The man grinned a little. "If you manage to catch the lucky goldfish - the little golden one in the school down there - you'll win the grand prize!"
The man would gesture towards a table, upon which a few plush pumpkins were set. Admittedly, Andy wasn't too interested in the grand prize - but nonetheless, he'd nod with a smile - "Sure, I'll play," - and pick up the net. May as well have fun, right? And that'd mean enjoying the activities that he could to their fullest - even if the prize did not appeal to him perfectly. It wasn't always about winning, after all. He would pull a couple of hair clips out of his pocket -to fix up his bangs as to better see - and would suppress his Ki to a more reasonable level, so that he would be less likely to accidentally hurt the fish. Once prepared, he'd smile and nod to himself - before leaning and reaching down with the small net, to begin trying to carefully scoop up the little fishies.
