Lotuce walked into the shop slowly, his clothing badly damaged from his spar with the Saiyan who refused to give his name. He had some money left over from his various odd jobs...and what he had looted from the various bandits he had killed out in the wilds. He wondered what kind of clothing he could scrap together in the capital, it had been his first time shopping for clothes in quite some time. As he entered a clerk came running out from somewhere and tried to shoo him off, telling him that they did not serve riff raff.
Lotuce blinked, taken a bit back by this and held up a sack of money, the loose coins jingling a bit. “I have money...so, can I shop here or should I go somewhere else?” Lotuce was in one of the fanciest shops in the Capital. As the coins jingling could be heard through the sack, the eyes of the clerk lit up, he knew he could make some money based on the size of the sack. Lotuce was then shuffled off to an area filled with the fanciest and nicest outfits imaginable, though not that this Saiyan could recognize such things at a glance.
The clerk lefted a pink shirt with the words “Evil Dude” written on the back of it in black letters, leading Lotuce to laugh a bit and say “I’m a Saiyan Warrior, not some...Tuffle Prince, lets find clothing that can be made to weigh more as well as fight in easiy.[/color]” Lotuce had himself a good laugh, something he had not had in some time, he was grateful for this shop keeper for such a thing. The clerk let out a huff and mentioned something about how all the Saiyan’s were the same, no appreciation for the finer things in life.
He then led the black haired man over to another section of the store, this one had more practical clothing. Lotuce nodded a bit, liking what he saw. First was a dark blue sleeveless style shirt, he felt that was a good starting point. Next were a pair of bright white pants that looked to flow nicely, lots of breathing room but not so poofy that they would get in his way. Around the waste of that was a blue belt that seemed best tied more to the right and behind him, it made no sense but fashion very rarely did make sense to the Saiyan.
The final part of the basic outfit were a pair of old Saiyan combat boots, they were a grey color with gold trim, a nice addition thought Lotuce. The shop keeper then led Lotuce towards one final thing, a small section of combat apparel and training gear. The flamboyent alien led Lotuce to a denim jacket that seemed damaged, but was otherwise stylish and said “This jacket is weighted down, with space for it to grow in that regard relatively easily...if you come back to this shop at least dear...”
Lotuce smiled, he lifted the jacket off the hanger...or at least tried to, whatever that hanger was made of, it was obviously quite sturdy. He liked it. The clerk then took Lotuce over to a the armguards and showed him a variety of gloves and armbands, before a pair of red armbands that stretched from just above the wrist to almost his elbows caught his eyes. The shopkeeper told him that those too were weighted. This news made Lotuce quite happy. He smiled at the shop keeper and told him “I’ll take this outfit, mind if I go put it on for final adjustments?”
The owner didn’t mind and showed him to a place where he could change in private. Lotuce slowly changed out of his old outfit and into the new one. The weighted bits feeling a bit uncomfortable and bulky, but he supposed eventually he would get used to wearing such things. Lotuce stretched his arms out a bit in the room, when he noticed the shopkeeper slide a note under the door that said “knock twice if you want removable weight added to the pants...” Lotuce thought for but a moment before knocking and the shopkeeper told him to come out once he was dressed.
Lotuce then slowly left and the shopkeeper held in his hands what looked like small patches for his pants. “These are brand new, these patches are just extra weight that you can remove, though don’t lose these please. They are small enough to fit in the pockets of those pants or the denim jacket to keep everything together if you need the extra speed and maneuverability that the clothes take away from you.” Lotuce smiled, he then inquired how much for the outfit and the fancy new weights hew as given.

The shop keeper shook his head a bit and said that this outfit would be on the house and that he would fix up his old outfit so he could still wear it if he so chose to do so. The Saiyan soon was smiling brightly and thanking the man profusely. He then slowly walked out of the store, obviously not used to this new weight yet, but needing to move around in order to get used to all of the weight. Lotuce had a good experience in this shop, he would definitely come back when he decided it was time to update his look once more.
