Just a few yards outside of a rather small circular house located on the edge of the forest, was a robotic saiyan lady and her father, Celerai. He was a rather low ranked warrior in the Sadala Defense Force, but, either way, he was still capable of making enough money to maintain the family. The two remaining people in the family. They were both about to head towards the capital to take part in their daily activities. Celerai had his regual duties, while his daughter had her daily training session and the free time she used to spend time with her friends. The mechanical saiyan didn't 'connect' with her father as well as she did with her friends. The only times they really spent time together was while they were getting ready for the day ahead, and at the end of the day when they both went back to their home.
Normally, because Diane didn't have the ability of flight, she and her father had a race everyday, to see who could get to the capital first, and today was no exception.
"Are you ready, Diane?"
"Always have and always will be."
"Alright, then. Ready.... Set.... Go!"
They would both take off, running at top speed towards the capital. They both considered this race as a warmup for what's next to come in the later hours of the day. Diane won, as usual.
"Good going. Well, you know that I have to leave now. I'll see you at home! Later, Diane."
"Later, dad!"
She was supposed to go to her training class, but, since she was a bit early, she decided to snoop around the city for a bit. She turned corners, walked down roads, further deviating from the path she was supposed to take. Until suddenly, she encountered something she never expected to. She turned a corner, then looked across the road, spotting Silver, one if her close friends. The smile on her face widened as she called out to him.
"Yo, Silver! How ya doin'?"
"Huh, Diane? What are you doing here?"
Silver crossed the road, looking left and right before doing so. Once he approached Diane, they started to talk.
"Morning."
"Good Morning."
"I thought that you would've been at your training session. How come?"
"I thought that you already knew that going there isn't a necessity for me. My father barely checks in with them anyways."
"Of course. Anyways, what are you doing around here?"
"Wanna hang out?"
Silver wasn't surprised at all at his android friend's request.
"I figured you'd say that. Well alright. What's first?"
"Why don't we spar with each other as a replacement for my class?"
And so, Diane and Silver spent the rest of the day participating in several activities. They sparred with each other, they went hunting together, they went shopping, and then, eventually, Silver made an announcement.
"Man, I don't think I've had this much fun in ages. Well, I think we should wrap this up. I'm going to the bar."
"What? Nooo, don't leave... I'll... I'll come with you!"
"What?"
Diane didn't want the day to end just yet. She wanted to continue spending her time with Silver. She's never gotten the chance to spend quality time with any of her friends other than Arti, and they both were having fun, and as such, Diane made that suggestion. Silver seemed to think to himself for a moment until speaking:
"While I don't think that's a good idea, you can come as long as you don't give trouble."
"Really? Let's go, then!"
Before long, they arrived at the bar which Silver frequented. It was called 'The Brick' for hell knows whatever reason.
"The Brick?"
"Yeah, I dislike the name as well."
At that, they both entered the place. As they entered, they immediately walked towards the seats located in front of the bartender's area. Silver put bit of zeni on the counter, ordering two simple beers. Diane felt a bit uneasy towards the looks several people gave her, but she shrugged it off. However, once they were given their drinks, Diane asked if they could sit at the vacant table near the corner of the room. Silver agreed, and they took their seats at the table. Silver drank, and Diane drank, with no hesitation.
"Oooo~"
The beer threw her into a bit of a tizzy, and Silver was immediately concerned. She was slightly groggy from a small portion of the drink, and that was obviously a bad thing.
"Wait, have you never drank before?"
"Whatever gave you that idea?"
"In that case, we should probably get you out of here. I wouldn't want to be responsible for whatever dumb stuff you do."
Silver began to rise, until Diane decided to chug the drink to mess with Silver.
Show time....
Her face grew flushed and her eyes dilated, as if she was drugged.
"Dammit, Diane. Cmon, let's go back to your house."
"Get me another."
"What? No, c'mon."
Diane grabbed her friend by the collar, making his eyes grow wide, she looked him straight in the eye and said:
"Either you get me a drink, or, or your ass.... is grass!"
"Diane, you're drunk."
"No, what gave you that idea?"
"What's your name?"
"Diane, but my friends call me Diane."
Silver's eyebrows furrowed.
"Okay, and where do you live?"
"In an oversized tree in the middle of the desert."
"That settles it. You're drunk."
"Get me a drink."
"The fact that you became that dumb from one drink astounds me. But fine, I'll get you a drink."
Diane released him, and Silver left the table. When he returned, he had a glass of water in his hand.
"Thaaaanks~"
She drank, not even realizing that she drank water.
"That tasted weeeeeirrrrd...."
"If you want more beer, follow me."
"Righto, Julio."
Silver helped her stumble out of 'The Brick', and once they were outside, Silver scooped her up in his hands, and lifted himself into the air. Carrying his mechanical friend bridal style. He was headed towards her house.
"Hey, where we headed?"
"A magical place filled with beer."
"Perrrrfect~"
Once he arrived, he descended, entering her house and setting her on the couch where she fell asleep. When she woke up, it was in the dead of night. She didn't remember a thing that happened.
"Huh? How did.... Whatever."
She decided not to question it, and went back to sleep.
