Ever since he learned how to suppress his power level, Nasu had been working on it. He was training his ki mastery by both sensing and suppressing it all the time. He knew about the next step into the super saiyan form, and how to attain it. The problem was that it was hard and required him to reach a state were sensing and suppressing became more natural. Of course it didn’t require a complete and absurd control over it, but just enough so the energy output generated by the super saiyan transformation didn’t waste any energy. This also allowed to all the energy output to be completely used towards efficiency, making the most out of the transformation. That was the Super Saiyan Full-Power, as Miso and his parents used to call it, and he was really close to reaching it.

While he was meditating, Pepper approached his chambers and spoke over the intercom. – Overseer, sir! I have an important message for you! – said the Second Lieutenant of the Saiyan Alliance, the bald saiyan warrior Nasu had chosen to be one of his trusted warriors. The young Overseer slowly opened his eyes with a serious expression on his face and reached his scouter, which was by his side and put it on. – Who sent it, Second Lieutenant? – he asked. – Captain Jie Shan. He is inviting you for gravity training, sir! Should I send an answer? – he asked over the intercom. – No need. I will be heading there right away. Dismissed! – and Pepper quickly answered. – Copy, sir! Have a nice training! – he replied before turning off the intercom. Nasu took off his scouter and left in a table nearby. Then, he flared his ghostly-white ki aura and immediately flew away from his chambers. The moment he did that, he couldn’t sustain his Ki Suppression, and his power level rose once again to its base.

It didn’t take him long to reach Jie’s gravity chamber and he headed straight inside it, without saying a word to the people in his path. He wanted to train and he was feeling that with that gravity training he would be able to unlock his full potential. ”It has been ages since the last time I had some gravity training… If I recall correctly, the last time I did that was before the Alliance-Empire war. Dad was still alive.” he thought, sighing a bit. Once inside the chamber, he could immediately feel the huge pressure of 10G. The pressure was taking its tools on his body, but, still, he managed to suppress his power level to one hundred thousand once again.

He also focused on sensing Jie’s energy, and it seemed to be about ten percent of his own power, meaning he was using his weights and not using his crazy hybrid related power boost. Nasu folded his arms and stared at him. – Very good idea, Captain. Gravity training is really useful for rapid increase in strength. So… What kind of training do you have in mind? – he asked.

Jie Shan greeted Nasu as soon as he arrived, informing him that this place was his father’s compound, which, by consequence, made it his compound too. Then, when inquired about what he had in mind, he said that maybe they could spar a little bit, but in a far less destructive way than they did before, in the Soy Training Hall, since he wasn’t quite sure about the resistance of the newly acquired gravity chamber. Nasu looked around the place and it seemed quite sturdy, maybe it could even withstand his super saiyan transformation. ”Interesting… Seems like a topnotch place. Must have been expensive.” he wondered, examining the area. – Seems expensive. Guess I’m overpaying captains! Hehe. – he chuckled, teasing the hybrid a bit.

Then, he asked for a moment for powering up and Nasu nodded, staring at him as he flared his dull yellow aura around him. He could feel his power increasing a lot, and he was far stronger than before, even with his weighted armor on. The Overseer narrowed his eyes as he examined his energy signature with his sensing capabilities, and he noticed that he reached almost Nasu’s own suppressed level, and he took a mental notice of that. ”Hm. If he can reach such level, it means that he can become far stronger than my base form with this power-up of his. That’s quite a feat. I think he will be able to become a super saiyan soon if we keep up with this training regiment, as well as complete his training under the Soy School.” he thought, then, when he finished powering up, Nasu cracked a mischievous grin with the corner of his mouth.

– My turn. I need to test something I’ve been trying to accomplish for a while now. – he said in a calm but cocky tone. Then, Nasu closed his eyes and concentrated without putting pressure on his body. He seemed to remain calm, as if he was just focusing on concentrating his ki energy without wasting a single bit of it. His ghostly-white ki aura was flared and then it began to gain traces of bright gold in it, until it fully changed into the new color. The aura, different from the other time Jie Shan saw it, wasn’t fiery-like. It seemed like a more normal looking aura, despite the bright color. Nasu’s hair bristled and became golden, but a lighter shade of gold, almost white. Then, he slowly opened his eyes, which changed from black to teal. His power level had risen to an even more absurd level, much higher than before.

[Super Saiyan Full Power Unlocked! Current PL: 2,397,680]

There was no rage emanating from him. It was almost like he had tamed the super saiyan beast inside of him and, as soon as he finished transforming, his power level began to drop considerably, until it once again became one hundred thousand, but with Nasu remaining on his new super saiyan form. ”I did it! I’ve mastered this form! Perfect! Now… I will have to truly control myself. This will be the ultimate training for me. I can’t allow my power level to rise from this amount!” he decided.

– I’m done, Jie Shan! You will be sparing against a super saiyan. This is an honor no one ever had on this planet! I will be keeping my power suppressed the best I can. I hope you can keep up! Don’t make me waste my time, Captain! – he said, in a quite determined tone. If anyone was watching this spar, they would definitely know that Jie Shan’s prestige in the Alliance was rising quickly. To be able to fight against a super saiyan. That was something that never happened since Natto and Tomoroko’s deaths. Miso wasn’t fond of giving people such an honor. With that in mind, the Super Saiyan slid into his traditional Soy School fighting stance, ready for battle.

”This power doesn’t even compare to the one Athren achieved. I wonder what the hell was that, anyway. Not even uncle Miso knew about that. But I’m satisfied for the time being. This power is amazing, far stronger than my base Super Saiyan form and far less tiring than the Second Grade form. With this power I can keep on fighting without hindering my stamina!”´ he thought to himself, growing accustom to the power he now held. Jie Shan seemed quite excited to test himself against a super saiyan and quickly emulated the Soy School’s posture, which made Nasu smirk with the corner of his mouth. – Seems like you are learning it quite well. – he pointed out. After a moment analyzing each other, the hybrid decided to take the initiative and charged against Nasu.

Nasu’s teal eyes were paying attention to Jie’s every move. He had inhaled and now was just exhaling slowly, keeping every inch of his body in control, waiting for the perfect opportunity to counter. Then, when Jie Shan swing his fist at Nasu’s throat, the super saiyan quickly crouched, making him miss his attack and immediately countered by pushing himself back up and aiming for a powerful hook to his gut, which the goal of both injuring him as well as making him loose his breath, getting winded. Nasu was keeping his power level heavily controlled, so, despite the fact that he had golden hair, he was functioning as a regular one hundred thousand power level fighter, meaning that his attack was fast and precise, due to his incredible skill of a martial arts master, but not impossible to be avoided. – Take that! – he exclaimed as he attacked his sparring partner.

The fight was just in the beginning, but he could feel his own blood boiling.

Jie Shan was never a disappointment and, even though Nasu waited for the perfect opportunity, it wasn’t a clear shot, as he managed to slap his fist, changing its trajectory a bit, and saying he wouldn’t be a punching bag. Nasu chuckled and widened his mischievous smirk. – I wouldn’t expect anything less, Captain! – he said in response to his words, as the hybrid backed up a bit, putting a few feet in between then. But it didn’t take him very long to attack again, as he tried to smack Nasu’s head with both his hands. That wasn’t a technique based in injuring him, but it was meant to stun him, by attacking both his ears and affecting the center of balance of the body.

Nasu narrowed his eyes upon noticing that and quickly raised both of his arms, successfully blocking his attack. His arms weren’t flinched in the slightest by Jie’s attack, and he quickly reacted by throwing a head-butt aiming at Jie Shan’s nose. Hitting the nose was hardly lethal, but enough to cause some serious problems in a fight, as it was an extremely sensible area. Still, the fight was pretty much even as of yet, and Nasu doubted the tide would start moving in his favor as soon as that. The gravity was being pretty much unnoticed by the super saiyan due to his sheer power, but it would most definitely help in increasing the efficacy of this sparring session.

By blocking his attack, Jie Shan was left wide open to Nasu’s counter and he successfully head-butted the hybrid’s nose, making it pour blood almost immediately. The pain was huge, and Nasu chuckled with his little accomplishment, that was the first straight hit of the spar and it was his. Although he clearly had the huge advantage of the fight, he still wanted to show superiority, while doing his very best to keep the fight as fair as possible. There was no honor in winning a one-side fight, and he knew that very well.

The hybrid stepped back, doubling himself in agony, but, as he started to recover, there was a fire in his eyes and Nasu loved to see that! This fight was still going to last. – Got you good? That was nothing! Hehe! – Nasu teased him a little bit more, sensing the anger building up inside the hybrid. The more angered he got, the more fierce he would become, and that fact was even more true with hybrids. There was something, a weird thing that happened whenever the saiyan blood got mixed with another race’s blood, and, in Nasu’s mind, anyone who had at least a bit of a saiyan in them and embraced that, were equal to any pure blood, that was the same thought Natto used to have when he was alive, and one of the reasons so many hybrids chose to be in the Alliance.

Jie Shan attacked again, this time aiming for a powerful left hook to Nasu’s jaw. Nasu calculated the attack based on the previous, just to barely dodge it and leave Jie even more opened, but this time the hybrid had put all of his weight behind the attack, making it slightly faster and screwing up with Nasu’s calculation. The super saiyan got hit in the jaw and the power was enough to push his head backwards a bit. Nasu’s eyes widened absurdly when he was hit. ”H-how?!” he asked himself, in disbelief. The surprise quickly turned into anger, as he grits his teeth and quickly respond to the attack with a fierce circular elbow strike to the ribs. His anger almost made him lose his ki suppression, but he managed to retain it, for Jie’s luck.

Should it hit or not, Nasu would take a back step and touch his jaw. It wasn’t hurting physically, but his pride had been hurt. – I commend you for managing to hit me! I miscalculated your speed! But that won’t be happening again! Still… Celebrate! You’ve just hit a super saiyan! – he was congratulating Jie, indeed, but there was no celebration in his tone. He was dead serious.

His elbow strike hit right on the mark and should have caused some damage since it was strong enough to carry him backwards a little. ”There was no crack, so he should be fine.” he thought to himself. Nasu wanted to make him pay and suffer for managing to hit him, but not seriously injure the Captain. He was an important ally and asset for the Alliance, and, truth be told, he had a small proposition to make once they finished their sparring session that he hoped he would come to accept. He would be delighted if he did and that would put some interesting events into motion.

Then, Jie Shan spoke, and he was getting rather cocky. He said that he may have some aces up his sleeves and that maybe he could hit him again or even hurt him. Nasu’s serious expression changed to a small smirk with the corner of his mouth. ”Cheeky bastard!” he thought to himself, liking his little attitude, despite the lack of fear for his powerful transformation. Then he mentioned that he was on a fast track to power himself, and Nasu chuckled a little louder this time. – That’s good, because until you are a super saiyan, you are only half-good! – he teased. – And I don’t need half-good warriors that are happy with their current spot! I need ambition and thirst for power! But also loyalty! Do you have all of those, Captain?! Because if you don’t, I won’t be wasting my time with you! Hehehe! – he said, seeing the hybrid fall back into their school’s stance.

With that, Nasu used all of his available suppressed speed to vanish from sight. He wasn’t using a technique yet, but he did the best he could with his current situation. His goal was to reappear behind Jie Shan, jumping high into the air and raising both his fists together, trying to land a powerful vertical sledgehammer to Jie Shan’s head. Should it hit, it would sent him to the floor and probably hurt like a bitch. Nasu was putting quite a lot of power into that attack.

Once again his attack succeeded due to his superior technique and skill. Jie Shan suffered a heavy blow that threw him to the ground, with his head hitting it hard and bouncing back, but then, again, he rose to his feet. ”Physical and mental endurance… He has enough to spare! Good!” the Overseer took a mental note of that. Then, as soon as he recovered enough, the hybrid Captain began to answer, saying he had plenty of loyalty and he proved that by protecting Cabba and baby Tamari, and he assured he was ambitious and wanted to be capable of hurting Nasu as much as he was hurting him. That made him chuckle in satisfaction. – Then show me! – Nasu said with a large smirk in his face.

He charged again as fast as he could and Nasu followed him with his eyes and then he noticed what he was up too. Nasu widened his eyes in surprise and was almost unable to stop his attack: Jie Shan had aimed for his eyes, trying to poke them. Nasu had to put the knife of his hand in front of his nose, successfully blocking his attack by a single inch! He had to lean his head back and that threw him off balance a little, opening his guard for a brief second due to the surprise in the attack. This was a perfect opportunity for Jie Shan to seize. ”Dammit! I lost my balance! If I fly I won’t be able to suppress my energy!” Nasu thought, gritting his teeth in frustration. It was terrible to fight handicapping himself so much.

If his ability to suppress his energy was better, he could use some techniques without letting his energy rise again, but that was off the table for now.
