Chris had been recently putting his training to a nonstop push and it was showing significant improvements upon his body. Although his muscle mass looked about average with the slight bit of bulk he had been training with his blade to attack more efficiently as well as defend. The best defense wa stage best offense they say but it also means that a good offense can be a well defense as well. He was ready for his next stage of training with his mentors. He could feel it within himself that he truly was ready. He felt that nothing would be holding him back anymore on his goal.
He remembered when he first came to the lookout. He had been so much weaker before with only a power of five thousand and almost no experience what so ever with martial arts. He was just lucky that Arion had offered to help him than. He noticed that a lot though lately. Every time he faced danger someone tried to take the blow for him. He wished they wouldn't but he had to do that himself. He didn't like seeing any of his friends get hurt for him. That was what hurt him when he would see that.
Chris had expanded his power to close with Ayami's. They always managed to stay neck and neck didn't they.. He still shook his head as he looked upon the growing white platform as he neared it. His heavy weights not truly much of an issue anymore as he had grown accustomed to this weight. It helped him keep his focus now that he didn't have to worry about straining each step. He could use that focus now to only improve more upon his training. That was just something he believed in his own mind of course.
Though there was still something that troubled him rather decently. He worried about that darkness he had saw in his mind. Despite telling himself he shouldn't fear it he still did. He was afraid of if it were to take over. He didn't know where this darkness was from but he worried of what it could do. Would it take control and grow into a power of evil or could he manage to conquer it and use the strength of it for good. Such a choice that he had no control of. One he had no choice but to leave entirely to fate. That was what scared him...that he had no control over what his fate was.
Chris was filled with suprise as he noticed that in his daydreaming he had already landed on the lookout. He was right in front of the palace. Ah good memories. They had almost had a fight between Ayami and Cambia if his master and Galen hadn't helped him calm the both of them down. He honestly couldn't have been more thankful at that very moment. If he hadn't had help arrive at that moment he was afraid what might have happened to the lookout. The amount of damage that could have ensued could have been disastrous. Not as bad as what the Saiyans had done to the lookout but still pretty bad. Bad enough that most likely they would be having to work on it for weeks.
Chris started taking his steps into the palace as he sensed for the familiar ki of his mentor. She was pretty easy to find ki wise due to how much of a power she did put out. He was proud to have such a strong mentor in honest and frankly he was also excited to begin his next stage of training with her. "Master Atsuko I am here." Chris would say just loud enough for her to hear in the palace.
It was finally good to be home. She would walk out of her city with one Lanza Commando to each of her side. She felt like a damn figurehead for sure and it was a great feeling. She had something in mind she needed to do though... She needed to see Chris. It has been too long and she misses the kid a lot. Her little brother has been missing in her life for long enough! She would look to her commandos, "Commandos, on me... It's time for me to see if my units have the ability to fly..." and so they were off! Her speed was incredible but her units were slow in the air. She had to slow down to their pace but she was patient with them. They did just get out of their schools to become a special force of the Lanza. She would fly through the air and through the mountains to view Earth once more for what it was... Natto had so many different features compared to Earth but Earth wasn't bad compared to Natto... She would fly through the clouds and look to her sides, "What are your races?" she asked both her commandos... They looked at each other funny at first under their helmets but one of them ended up speaking, "We are both Human, High Clarity..." he said but that simply made her smile... "That's incredible... You two are keeping up with me pretty well. Keep up the good training, commandos," she said with a smile. She obviously was sugar coating things but they were happy to hear her say that.
They were flying close and she could finally sense Chris... 'Chris... I'm coming to see you again, little brother...' she thought in her head. She would see the Lookout just ahead and she'd slam her breaks. The commandos stop and point their guns at several directions to see what was going on. "High Clarity, is everything good?" one of them asked. She would stand still for a moment just starring at the Lookout. 'Maybe it's best I send them back home to avoid trouble...' she thought in her head. She would turn her head towards her loyal soldiers, "Gentlemen, you are both dismissed. Please return home and get new orders. If you get a standby order from anyone than you are dismissed from your duties today. That'll tell me they don't need help with anything. Go ahead!" she said motioning them to carry on. They both looked at each other and saluted... "Thank you, ma'am!!!" they both said and flew off back home. Now they could go back to their families and rest. That would put a light smile on her face but she had to remain focus! Lancer would sigh, "I hope everything is okay with Chris... He feels a little different," he said towards Leena. Leena turned her head, "He's alive and that's all that matters!" she simply said before flying fast towards her destination! She would fly closer and closer! She saw that little figure she knew by heart and quickly went faster. Her heart pumping with emotion! She would quickly slow down and get to the edge of the Lookout before softly landing. She heard him say, 'Master Atsuko' which... Surprised her... Usually, this would trigger an angry Leena but after her experience from Natto... She became lighter and more gentle. Still an asshole, but with caring feelings. She would walk slowly... Click, click, click... The heels on her shoes would make her movements heard which would most likely make him turn around. Her tailed swayed about and her suit now different. The teal suit she wore was now present. Her armor was gone as well but the only thing old was Lancer still on her back. There was a smile on her face she had and she tried so hard not to let her feelings go out in tears for joy. However, after moments of coming closer... She would stop in front of him. She would quickly hug him and lift him up, "CHRIS! I MISSED YOU!!!!" she said as she spun around lifting him. She had gotten a lot stronger and she even hugged him just a bit tighter but she'd make sure not to hug him too tight! This was love a little brother could want from an older sister. She would snuggle up her cheek against his and smile so warmly... "I thought I was never going to see you again my little brother... I couldn't stop thinking about you!" she said as she pulled him back and smiled. She'd let go of him after gently putting him down. She'd lock her green eyes with his dark eyes. "Did I feel facial hair on your cheek?! Also what's going on with the hair, Chris! You're taking away that saiyan pride of yours?" she said as she gently flicked his nose to tease him. She would smile with so much happiness. Chris may notice too that his sister has changed... She has certainly become more affectionate towards him. She sure missed her brother!
[Thread PL: 283,234 base. 7,364,084 in Super Saiyan 2.]
Atsuko was currently trying to work on her control over her Super Saiyan 2 form. Ascending into it wasn't the difficult part, she was more or less able to do that by will. Although she couldn't go into it as fast as she could with the first form... The power was immense, but it's greatest flaw was that the rage dulled her mind to such a huge degree. She became relentless in battle, but rather than seizing the opportunity to end the fight, she would drag it out as long as possible in order to make her enemies suffer. That needed to change.
Not only would that level of control do away with the strategic flaws, but it would also grant her the clarity needed to be able to call back the power that was being wasted... It was just like with the first form, and how when it was untrained, so much power was simply flowing away from her body. Even though she had what should have been a perfect control over her energy... It just didn't help her all that much. It didn't stop her from trying to find out what the flaws were. But damn if she didn't get frustrated much faster.
"Damn it... Why is it so hard to control?!", the Albino Saiyan would shout. Excalibur lets out a small sigh. "You're always like this in that form...", the woman in red would comment. Atsuko tries her best to calm down, which... Really isn't very easy. "Sorry... I don't know why this is so much more difficult to control. I shouldn't have any problems with it, it just doesn't make sense to me. And I feel like the longer I take on solving this problem, the further I'll be from protecting Earth, and ascending to the final stages..."
The Knight responded. It was her personal goal to one day reach Super Saiyan Three, just like her parents had done. She wanted to achieve the maximum potential in it, as well. For this reason, it was good that Excalibur taught her how to control her energy to such a great extent. It would no doubt be useful in her goals, even beyond the transformations, just being able to tell when people were coming to Earth, any immediate threat she could detect and then warn people of... And her true power could be suppressed, that was indeed a strategic advantage.
Shortly thereafter, Christopher arrived and announced himself to Atsuko. The Albino Saiyan looks a little surprised, her students were always so eager to get to training... It always reminded her of herself, really. "Ah, one moment! I did have something important I wanted to discuss with you.", the Knight responded. Even though her mind was dulled within this form beyond a Super Saiyan, she still had her moments of clarity, particularly when she saw her friends. That was at least one useful thing about it... Though, she didn't want to test out how well that would work in a battle.
Then she felt someone approaching the Lookout. Fairly strong power... Around the level to become a Super Saiyan, or the closest equivalent. But this was a signature that she recognized; that was Leena. And her assumption had been proven correct just as the Saiyan Bounty Hunter landed on the Timeless Lookout. Leena wasted little time in rushing over and hugging Christopher. There was a hint of anger in her eyes and expression as she recalled how the Lanza were created, as well as the words that the Saiyan Bounty Hunter used. There was also the fact that she always referred to the Knight as a Heretic...
The Sacred Sword seemed to be well aware of this. "Atsuko, go ahead and power down, there's no need to be in Super Saiyan 2 while you have guests!", the woman in red declared, and the Saiyan gave a small nod in response, then powering her down. Her massive Power Level began shrinking down to it's base form. The Knight took a small breath of relief, closing her eyes momentarily... And then she would open them once more, calmly walking over to Christopher and Leena. "It's good to see you again, Leena!"
Her tone of voice had noticeably changed by now. While she was in that ascended form, she sounded as if she was always frustrated. But in her base form, and even in Super Saiyan... Well, the Knight sounded much more natural. "We were actually going to start our training for the day. Christopher has been making a lot of progress.", the Saiyan commented, then turning her gaze to the young lad. "Speaking of which, what I wanted to speak with you about... It may have to wait for now.", the Knight stated to him, the Sacred Holy Water was something the Saiyan Bounty Hunter knew well...
Atsuko knew just how protective Leena was of Christopher, and she'd rather not start a panic by openly discussing it with Christopher just now. It was still his choice to make, but if things could be kept peaceful between herself and the Lanza, that was a preferable option. Though the Albino Saiyan had her own concerns on that front that she wished to discuss with Leena... It may very well all have to wait until Christopher's training was done. Which then brought up another issue, was the Saiyan Bounty Hunter going to be present for all of it?
It wasn't that Atsuko minded, but past interactions showed that Leena didn't often think things through very well. Though of course, she did seem to be acting differently now... The Knight wondered just how different she actually was from her trip that took her off of Earth. Where had she gone, anyway? Regrettably, the Saiyan didn't think to check on that despite her newfound ability to sense the entire Galaxy. She couldn't help but be a little paranoid; the Lanza's Base had been finished, and it had a rather bothersome trait about it. Her Far-Seeing Arts didn't work in that dome they had built.
The secrecy was getting to her, as one could have imagined. Along with the little details she did know...
Chris had been waiting for rather quite a moment. He honestly had been expecting the Atsuko to be coming to him soon or to acknowledge him. He could feel her Power from here though and he could feel that rage coming from such power. It felt amazing but yet there was also that sense of pain with it. The power however was so huge in lengths though he couldn't sense the approaching figure until he her as the clanks of shoes walking behind him. While before Leena had left his senses would have been rather slow to get into a position to counter against such a suprised attack, now they were more intuned with his martial arts.
He quickly turned towards the noise with his martial arts stance ready and his hand over the sword from his back....he hadn't been expecting a hug from this person. Frankly there had been no way of expecting it with how much had been happening to him lately, what with having to calm down and angry half demon and angry elemi, to trying to calm a scared elemi, to finally having to face a Majin that had killed countless people before. That had all totaled up to make him learn to keep his guard down less and less.
As he was hugged by Leena and holy crud was she stronger. She was crushing him with these heavy weights that were still on. He finally began to say after managing to find a breath. "I missed you too Leena....but I'm going to miss you longer if you keep crushing me!" He would say jokingly as he found that his sister was indeed a lot stronger. Once he could find a way to manage to get free he would get his sigh of relief as he began realizing the real question that bugged him. Where the crud had she been all this time.
He looked up to her and before he could ask however she asked about his hair. Oh cr*pbaskets he had forgotten about that almost. So close to getting away as well. "We'll you see um.....I became a student of Master Atsuko's and Excalibur's....and well on my first day training everything started going great and I was progressing rather decently. However once I began to practice a new technique of the school's called mana burst. I sort of ended up losing control of my skill because I lost a hold on my blade and ended up cutting the larger length of my hair off." Chris would say hoping she didn't freak out too much. Oh Kami if she was here to watch him train for his next stage...or worse if she was going to help Atsuko train him...he didn't know which would be scarier.
An Idea however began to pass in his brilliant fifteen year old mind of his. He just hoped that his mentor would be alright with it plus he figured it would be a good way to get the two to get along better. "Atsuko if it would be alright, could my sister be alowed to help with my training for today's session? If anything it could help two bond atleast." Chris would say not hinting at the fact that when he had said two that he hadn't meant himself and Leena but rather Atsuko and Leena. Frankly it was a little bit of a risky idea but he could tell from having looked into the eyes of his sister that she seemed...calmer.....than before.
What had his sister seen though that could have changed her so much? He slipped off the scouter device from his head as he placed it into a small capsule and deposited it into a hidden pocket. He didn't want to break the thing after he had just got it ordered. Mainly he was wanting to use it to contact his sister but here she was right now. Who knows, maybe she could even help him with working it.
Chris turned his head towards his master as he smiled at her with that warm but friendly smile of his. He knew that this was unexpected of her being here but he wouldn't lie and say it wasn't nice. Though that look he had noticed at first from his friend was one of suspicion. Why though was it aimed toward his sister? What had his sister done while she was gone without even a notice to him except for a message on a computer that took him five days to access since the password had still been on it.
"Mentor Atsuko I'm sorry for this unexpected arrival which I will admit I was even suprised at but I really hope we can still continue our training today at its usual pace." Chris would say with what seemed to be excitement for such training. Could anyone really even blame him for being so excited? He had Saiyan blood in his body and even though he was kind on the outside even he could feel the itch to want to train.
This form though he noticed of his mentor. It was so much more powerful than a regular super Saiyan and frankly he found it hard not to get excited by it. Her power had felt enormous atleast reaching the seven millions. Which even then was amazing of a feat by itself. He only hoped still to find a way to surpass even that power one day so he could help just as well as her to defend his friends....his friends after all were the reason he drove himself to seek to learn under such a master. They were the main reason he sought to get stronger. They always helped him and now it was his turn to help.
Leena was just too damn happy to see her little brother. She had thought about him this whole trip and it gave her sad feelings of not seeing her. Though, ever since she got out of Natto... She'd changed a lot. She would feel her power... The one she called her nemesis. She hoped that Atsuko wouldn't come out and make a hefty deal of her arrival on the Lookout. She didn't want to start anything like her past self did. All she wanted was to see her brother and not cause ANY sort of trouble. She would hear Chris explain his story about him being a student to Atsuko and Excalibur and how he used one of their techniques that nearly killed him. Her eyes widen with a hint of shock but no anger was spotted. She slowly sighed but gave him a firm smile, "One of these days you're gonna be rough, Chris... You really need to learn how to manually stabilize your ki. When I was your age though I was never this strong," she said regarding his power level just half as much as her own. She would rest a hand on his head and begin rubbing it against his hair, "I think you're growing a bit more too! Last time I saw you, I swear you were three inches shorter! Haha, one day you'll be taller than me!" she said, giving him a firm smile.
Suddenly, that power she felt earlier was coming... Her power was scaled at the millions with her's just breaking almost two million. Her eyes would widen as she turned towards Atsuko. She felt a disturbed presence in her. She clearly didn't wasn't happy with Leena being completely here at all. Her new city is Kami-proof which was for her to realize most likely. Though, that's not entirely the reason why she made it that way. She didn't look mad or upset or anything at Atsuko but rather... Calm. She certainly had changed from her experience to Natto. She would walk away from Chris and approach Atsuko slowly, comparing her power level to her own. She had gotten a lot stronger but Leena has too. She'd sigh and look at Atsuko with an honest look. It wasn't serious but rather casually sorry looking. She could be surprising her by her not blurting out Heretic or other harsh things but... she felt more mature now after acquiring her inner power. With a sudden shock, Leena began to speak but a calming manner, "Atsuko... I want to say first... I'm sorry for all the times I've given you crap. I left Earth as you knew and went to the place I somewhat regret but at the same don't... The planet your very parents and now your brother rule... Planet Natto. He told me everything... Your related to him by blood I was told. At first, we were planning on an Alliance between the Lanza and the Saiyan Alliance but things went down when he thought I was trash.. I had to prove myself to him so I went against their General of the Alliance. By god... I thought I was going to die... He went Super Saiyan on me and that's when things went down hill for me but... suddenly after taking a Super Saiyan's blast I awoken a power I've never seen before... It turns out... I'm also a Super Saiyan. Though, I won't blare it out and act cocky with it because let's face it... You've ascended a whole new level I cannot beat just yet... I just want you to know I'm sorry. You're not a Heretic. You're just a Saiyan who grew up under a different roof. I know when we first met you were patient with me and now you're less patient but I do want you to know... I'm truly sorry. However, as you can tell... A new city of mine is now built and it has a wall that cannot be sensed through," she said after so long of speaking.
She was getting to a point where Atsuko could grow paranoid but she still remained calm and pointed to her own head, "The walls are to prevent EVERYONE from watching us. I have nothing against you Atsuko, nor do I dislike you anymore but I did this because I want to ensure my society is completely safe. I would rather not have someone eavesdrop in and listen to my people living their lives. It makes myself angry to know others could watch the innocent," she said as she rest her hand down. "Also... Regarding you training my little brother... If I was my past self still I would most likely yell and scream at you... Claiming you are tainting my only hope and caring thing that matters most to me but I've come to realize something... He's not a boy anymore but becoming a man. I know you wouldn't force anyone to do anything so I figured this was all his choice. I praise you for taking good care of him. As a sister yourself... You understand the compassion of protection. You want to do it all the same dang time but at the end you realize you can't really control someone's life. Well... That's pretty much the way I see it. He's growing up after I met him and I'm not going to change him and be all helicopter sister on him. As long as you don't kill him, I won't be mad... You can train him by being rough with him but don't kill him... We'd be seeing the same past me but ten times worse if you dare kill my brother," she said finally with a serious look on her face. She was only just giving Atsuko a strict warning... A warning to not get extreme with her brother to the point of killing him. Leena's heart would faint and go rampant. She would quickly smile though and try and lighten the mood, "I don't expect you to accept my apology. Hell, you can hate me from our past and honestly... I would understand and accept that but remember this Atsuko... As long as you make my brother happy and stronger... I'll smile at you and be much, much, much more softer towards you. Well, I'd still be nice now regardless but seeing you please him is what matters to me the most," she said as she smiled and looked at Atsuko's blue eyes. Hopefully, after a long talk with her the Cold War between her and Atsuko would end. Hopefully that tension between the Lanza and the Knights of the Round would also ease itself. She didn't want problems anymore and she sure hoped Atsuko didn't want them either.
She gave her a final look with a smile before turning around to get next to her brother. She would grab his ear lightly and pull it gently to get a playful side of her out, "So, now that you're stronger maybe you and your master can show me some of your skills! Maybe, if Atsuko would like as you said that I could help too! I'd certainly love to help out if you both want!" she said smiling first at Chris than to Atsuko. Leena was so different now... Just what changed her? She thought in her head, 'I can't believe I'm so nice... I really wish I had been like this long ago... I guess I owe you... General Miso...'

Christopher made a formal request of the Albino Saiyan, mostly to allow Leena to participate in the training. He hoped that it would allow for bonding, but she knew the meaning behind it. He wanted Atsuko and Leena to be on more friendly terms. The Knight pondered it over for a moment, listening to his apology afterwards about his obvious excitement and unexpected arrival. She couldn't blame him, Atsuko herself was just as eager back then. Bernael was, too... In fact, all of her students shared that enthusiasm. It was rather infectious, and made her rather proud of them, to be honest.
The Saiyan's attention was then grabbed by Leena, who proceeded to make a bit of a lengthy speech to the Knight. Voicing her apology of just how awful she had been treating the Knight, as well as her allies to some extent. She even went so far as to explain the reasoning behind the Lanza, and the structure that they had built. The Albino Saiyan grew more thoughtful as she listened carefully to the Saiyan Bounty Hunter's words. Leena really did have fair enough reasons to want to build something like that... But that wasn't really the only issue here.
Still, Leena's change of attitude hadn't gone unnoticed. The Saiyan lets out a sigh, finally ready to speak, it seems. "Christopher would say that I can trust you. I know this without even asking him. I know his answer wouldn't change if I shared all the concerns I had with him, as well.", the Albino Saiyan began her response. "I can respect that you want privacy. For you and yours. I can understand your reasoning as well.", the Knight added. Thinking over how to best say the next part of this. While she understood it... She couldn't condone the actions.
"However, I can't condone the actions you have taken. Understand that I'm not treating you as an enemy, it's the same for the Lanza. But that dome that you've built; blocking the ability to Sense inside of it, as well as Far-Seeing Arts... If people ever learn about that. They're going to want that secret of yours.", the Saiyan then stated. "You've set a precedent that no one on Earth has managed until now; true stealth. This allows for acts of secrecy. If that type of strategy were to fall into the wrong hands... Either how to build such a structure themselves..."
The Albino Saiyan paused momentarily. "...Or taking the one that you have. The reason why I find it so concerning is that this means others will try to replicate what you have done. And they will have nowhere near as benevolent intentions as you have. Not all of them will, at the very least.", the Knight finished her reprimanding. "...However, I have no interest in starting a war with you or the Lanza.", with that, the Knight would shoot a knowing glance to Christopher. This was more or less the request that he had made, but also...
Leena expressed interest in joining and helping out with the training. Atsuko couldn't help but smile a bit at that. "Well, most training sessions have been between just me and a student. I consider that the easiest way to teach. But given that I'd rather keep things peaceful between all of us, I'll allow it.", the Saiyan would finish. She then glances over to Excalibur, giving a nod. With that, reality would begin to shift around the trio. They would find themselves standing within the Reality Marble that served as the training ground. Christopher was already familiar with it.
But this was a new experience for Leena. The location was extravagantly decorated. "I've already explained this to Christopher... But welcome to my Reality Marble! I was able to create this because Atsuko gathered materials for me, this location will constantly rebuild itself despite any damage it takes, no one can interrupt unless it's an ally we can trust... And most importantly, it can be shifted to fit any training regime!", the woman in red explained with pride in her voice. With that, Atsuko would calmly walk over to Christopher, intending to explain the first lesson of this particular training session to him.
"In our first session, you mastered the Beginner's portion, today we'll be starting on the Intermediate's portion. We'll be improving your stance as well as Invisible Air. After that, there will be the Advanced portion, and then finally the Mark of Mastery. As you've a good grasp of the fundamentals, this should prove to be no issue for you... I will demonstrate the Intermediate style for you, watch closely.", the Saiyan stated to the young lad, then turning towards the center of the Reality Marble and walking towards it. The woman in red doing the same, the pair then taking stance.
Atsuko and Excalibur would then surge towards each other. The Beginner's style looked very much like battling, with their blades clashing in violent fashion. But this time it looked more elegant, a better flow in their movements began to show. It slowly began to resemble a dance. Their blades would meet a final time, and then the pair separates from each other. Atsuko calmly turns towards Christopher. "When you're ready, I want you to attack me. You'll be looking for any openings that the opponent has, and trying to take advantage of them.", the Saiyan added.
With that, there was nothing else to really go over. It was time to begin the actual lesson. Atsuko had a pretty good handle on this, between herself and Excalibur... But at least, Leena would be able to share conversation with the two during any breaks. There was going to be some lengthy ones from this point on, as the training would become far more demanding of Christopher. His energy would be drained to the point of nearly gone for the Advanced portion, and for the Mark of Mastery as well... But it would teach him how to better control his energy.
It would expand his reserves. He and Ayami were both almost finished with their training, at this rate...
WC: 1,020 Total WC: 2,047 _______________ Atsuko demonstrated Martial Arts [IN] with Excalibur!
Chris wouldn't deny that he was indeed excited for training like almost all of her students, but his was more so because of that rush he loved feeling in his own blood when he would get the experience to learn. His smile was already quite visibly seen as he watched his mentor think over what he had asked. Frankly he hoped that she would say yes as that would give him the chance as well to show his sister what he could truly do. Unlike her at least to his knowledge, she hadn't seen him do Martial Art's yet and especially Atsuko's style. That was why he was excited.
Though something still tingled in his questioning. When Atsuko had first begun approaching him he had noticed a look on her face that seemingly screamed like she was trying to ask him a question of sorts but yet when she had saw his sister it seemed as if she had held back from asking it. Was it something his sister knew about? Something that his mentor thought she would have gotten mad about? He just wished his mentor would at least just tell him what she wanted to ask. It's not like it was anything that would end up hurting him... He just needed his mentor to have a little trust in him.
Chris watched as his sister began approaching his mentor and he had honestly expected a fight to break out from how much hostility he could sense from these two. That was when his sister pulled something that was honestly just completely unexpected at least for him it was unexpected. He watched as his sister began to apologize to his mentor and for some of these things he didn't even know that she had done. Lately with him having spent most of his time here having been spent training he hadn't been able to have much time to explore the world once more. He supposed that just meant he needed to get more free time in and possibly check out this place his sister had built.
He wondered though what this place was like and if it really was a place like his sister began explaining. He could see here reasoning behind it but even he couldn't help but wonder just what exactly was happening there and to not allow his mentor to see it with her arts seemed a little unfair. He could understand her need for privacy but still he felt it was something he had to know what exactly was happening there. He couldn't explain this desire to know except with what he could assume was just simple curiosity into the matter. Ha there was just simple child behavior right there. That proved he still did indeed have the actions of a teenager.
Chris was listening in tune to his mentor as she said that if he trusted Leena than she supposed she could trust Leena. At least his two friends were beginning to get along and that what really was mattering at the moment. He wanted his close friend and mentor to be able to get along truly with his sister, even if they weren't blood related to his knowledge he still found her as if they were true brother and sister because of that connection between each other. That was the moment he noticed the ground changing beneath them as it changed to that of the training area he knew best, the Reality Marble. A place he had found was one of the best places to train in just about anything. At least that was how he viewed it in his own mind.
He began to listen to his mentor as she began to say of how he would begin both his intermediate and his advanced lessons of this style. Than after he could complete his mark of mastery...a feat that he knew was something he had been wanting to achieve ever since he had became a student of Atsuko and Excalibur's. This was something he felt he could do. Something he wanted to actually show his sister as well of how much he had improved while she had been gone. He was going to accomplish this today...and push past his limits!
He pulled out his blade from right behind his back. It was in fact the same blade Atsuko had given to him except he had went to a nearby village to get it shaped rather differently to fit his own style more. It was still however the same blade but it wasn't the perfect blade for him..That was something he still had trouble finding. He could not find that one blade that just felt like it matched the very ki with in his body. That was something that he needed to find himself, but where was it he would find such a thing.
As the demonstration of the next step of the Martial arts began he found himself being able to grasp onto it rather quicker this time than last due to his practice with the actual style more. That was proof to him that he had truly in fact reached a new level in it and as he is concentration was placed entirely on his mentor he began to tune out his sister as his face gained a rather serious expression. He had gotten himself unveiled into the zone of focus.
With his eyes locked onto his mentor he spotted the weak spot rather quickly and mirroring her movements he gracefully charged at her with the style, using the curve of the hilt, he was able to swing the blade at a much faster rate and with the obvious signs of training before it was proven to become more powerful with each hit, but yet just not enough truly to prove for an advanced portion yet. However it was clearly reaching that of the intermediate version with quite a proficiency. His smile never fading though as he kept his calm upon himself and slashed with a final blow, he didn't hold back with this weight armor on precisely because he knew Atsuko could easily reflect any of his attacks, but alas his goal was met though of determining the weak points of her attack.
It seems Atsuko wasn't hateful against her after all. At the end of all this... It was just miscommunication. A damn shame that the two couldn't have just settled this before she left for Natto. She would feel the vibration of Lancer on her back, "Oh boy... Someone wants to come out and say hi... I better let him out before he grows a huge fuss!" she said with a smile on her face. Lancer would project the hologram quickly and appear out of no where. He really missed seeing those three.. "Atsuko! Chris! Excalibur! My, my, my! It's been forever since we had a dance! I hope you three are okay! Leena has been stubborn and silly as usual but yours truly has kept her in check! Of course... I'd make sure she'd stay outta trouble for you Chris so you wouldn't worry..." he said leaning next to him and elbow him lightly. His hologram would obviously make his pixels glitch out but he was at least trying to tell Chris that he was making sure Leena was staying behaved and good. He than would look at Excalibur real quick, "Oh how we must talk later! Your little lover here has missed you so much that one time she had a pleas-" and that's where Leena would wrap her tail around the gun and grip it tight, "I think you need to leave that part out!! You little scrap! Are you trying to make a scene?! Stupid buffoon!" she said in not really anger but embarrassment and aggravation. He sounded like he was chocking for real but she'd let him go after hearing him sound like he was suffering and he would nervously laugh, "That's why I love making jokes! No really... It was just a joke!" he said nervously. He would walk next to Leena before they could see the place had changed...
Excalibur would begin to explain the place and its history a bit which made Leena smile, "Sure looks big in here! Beautiful like someone I know.." she said with her eyes peering at Excalibur. She would obviously pull the good old flirting movement towards her direction but she wouldn't get too distracting with it. She knew Excalibur was a busy girl and she wouldn't blame her to deny that flirt. She would cross her arms and watch the preparation begin. So this was Atsuko's little training sessions? It was like revealing a new secret she never knew. It wasn't a big secret she could tell. If that was the case, Atsuko would probably kick out Leena and that would be that. However, Atsuko accepted Chris's request and allowed Leena to 'help' but Leena didn't see how she could help. She could teach Chris and maybe Atsuko some of her knowledge. She was taught to aim for the most vital spots on the body... Pressure points. Pressure points were good for taking down bigger opponents that could overwhelm you. Of course, she would remain silent as the big event would start. Chris pulled a sword out and actually surprised Leena...
'A sword? Well... The kid certainly has gotten influence from Atsuko but it's nothing to worry about anyways. She's a good person and I know she'll make him better than myself one day and that will make me one hundred percent happy. I just wish I could have trained the kid myself a bit before he advanced himself into something bigger than my own skills. If only I could just go back... What ifs, what ifs...' she thought in her head. It wasn't the biggest ordeal to see her brother hold the sword. Leena actually had no room to talk, she uses a gun! She would sling Lancer off and lean against him like a cane. Lancer would sigh watching the scene that's about to occur, "You think this will be an interesting performance?" Lancer would ask himself. It was quite interesting to see this all. It was was also very honoring to get the chance to see this all for herself too. She wouldn't ever get a chance like this probably again to see this all again either. She would smirk, "Chris! Show her what you've got! Give her something that will blow her mind!" and there they went!
Chris would swiftly move in and use his sword like the wind. Swift and deadly was what she could see in his eyes. It was all just amazing to see that! She can't stop at all thinking how amazing he was getting. She would simply smile at Lancer, "Lancer I think I'm officially happy for just this one time," she would say as she looked at Lancer. Lancer would look at her dumb and look at her closer, "Leena are doing drugs?! I told you to stay away from those off-world berries!" and that's where she bit her teeth down and smacked the rifle. "For your information... Those are called Black berries! And they are from Earth you stupid fool! Black berries have the best flavor I ever had! If you think those are drugs than clearly you're on drugs!" she said in aggravation. Lancer would make an oof, "Hey! It's not my fault I get concerned about you! You're a stupid kid after all! I'm way older than you anyways!" he said as Leena would hold her anger back. "Stupid.... I hope you get a glitch...." she said but looked back over at the scene where the two trained.
To her surprise, Atsuko wasn't in her Super Saiyan. Perhaps she has fully mastered it like Nasu did? She wouldn't need to train with Super Saiyan like Leena had to? Leena always had to pull her Super Saiyan out when training to get to the point of it feeling natural. Being a Super Saiyan for the first time was tough. She had strains still across her body when using the transformation and it sucked getting out of it. However, training was training! She had to get better!
Atsuko and Excalibur both smiled at Lancer's sudden arrival... As well as the fact that he seemed to still hold the ability to annoy the Saiyan Bounty Hunter. But at the same time, it was plain to tell that there was a strong bond between the two. Even with Leena's new outlook on life, she didn't change entirely. In some ways, that made the Saiyan glad. The Sacred Sword did end up getting rather interested in her, and all... Speaking of which, Leena then voiced a compliment to both the Reality Marble, and to the woman in red herself. Which of course prompted Excalibur to smile.
"Well, you seem to be quite a bit more confident now! Of course, I'll always remember just how flustered you got~", the Sacred Sword would tease, a more sultry smile appearing on her face. But she seemed to recognize that this wasn't exactly the best time or place for all of that. "When I'm done helping with the training, why don't we take a little time to talk, Leena?", the woman in red then poised to the Saiyan Bounty Hunter. Finally, the time came for Atsuko and Christopher to have their small bout. The young lad really was skilled...
As it soon became evident when he charged at the Knight, swinging his blade with practiced ease. Atsuko remembered what happened very clearly in their first training session, but now he was becoming a warrior! And one to be truly respected, at that. The Albino Saiyan moves her blade to deflect each incoming blow. Though the difference in skill and power was clear, Christopher was still catching up at least in terms of skill. Even though he couldn't land a blow on the Saiyan, that didn't matter. He still showed an understanding of the Intermediate style.
With the final slash he unleashed, it allowed her to both deflect it and then step back slightly. The Saiyan giving an approving nod to him. "Very good! With your newfound skill within the Martial Arts itself, you will be able to improve upon the signature technique that you have already learned; Invisible Air.", the Knight would begin her lecture in a calm tone of voice, as always. "Invisible Air becomes more powerful as your skill grows. But at the same time, the drain on your energy becomes much higher. It's up to you to decide what is most important in battle."
The Knight explained. "Though the Martial Arts does allow you to fight effectively and regain your energy at the same time... You will find that recovery is not instant. Pace yourself accordingly against any foe, and remember not to underestimate them. Now... I'll demonstrate it for you.", the Saiyan finished. Once more she turned to Excalibur, and the pair would take stance. Atsuko then began to gather her energy, and channel it into her blade. Just as when she demonstrated it the first time, wind began to envelop her sword. But now it was building up to a much more impressive height.
"Make sure you grip your sword with both hands, the winds can prove to be very difficult to control.", the Saiyan added. Then briefly drawing attention to the fact that she was holding her blade with both hands. Shortly thereafter, Atsuko would then surge forth, unleashing a torrent of slashes, all aided by the wind to be much faster and more powerful. Although the woman in red showed no difficulties in being able to block each incoming attack. As the technique draws to a close, Atsuko winds up her sword for a final slash, which also dispels the wind in a gust directed at Excalibur.
The Sacred Sword managed to block that too, and even came out of it all without a scratch to show for it, though she was standing a little further back than where she was before. Atsuko would then calmly turn to Christopher. "When you're ready, I want you to use Invisible Air against me. This is the final lesson for the Intermediate style. After it, we will be taking a short break so you can recover your energy.", the Knight finished her lecture, then taking stance and awaiting the young lad's next actions.
As always, she was closely observing him. In the meantime, Excalibur calmly walks over to Leena. "Wondering why she's not using Super Saiyan?", the woman in red guessed. Though whether she was right or not... "Atsuko knows that training is more effective without relying on immense powers like that... But more importantly. She's worried.", the Sacred Sword paused briefly. "Her Super Saiyan form; she's mastered that. Controlling it is no issue. However... She found out that there are stages beyond it. Atsuko became a Super Saiyan 2, but despite all the control she has; mental, physical, and even over her energy."
The woman in red began to elaborate. "...It's just not enough, that rage is too much for her to control. I suppose it makes sense, the reason she was able to ascend in the first place is because she thought that I died.", Excalibur elaborated further. Then shooting a knowing glance to Leena. "I wanted to help her reach each new stage. And I succeeded, but now I need to help her learn how to control it... The only problem is, she barely wants to use it. Afraid she'll hurt everyone she cares about and not even realize it."
The Sacred Sword then lets out a small sigh. "Not until it's too late, anyway.... I suppose her fears aren't unwarranted... So I'm going to guess that the reason you've changed so much is because you became a Super Saiyan too. In which case, I'm just going to say... Be careful.", Excalibur would then look Leena in the eyes. "That terrible rage and power takes it's toll on even the most practiced individuals.", with that, it seems everything she wanted to say had been said. "Sorry about the depressing subject. We haven't had a lot of time to talk very seriously like this, though..."
The woman in red admitted.

Leena's dark green eyes would look at Excalibur before they would begin their training. Clearly, she liked her comment a lot. She liked being told she was beautiful which made Leena made smile softly. It was actually nice for once to see Leena smile! Not always pissed off and angry! It was a huge relief in all out honesty. She would hear Excalibur hear her comment about her being quite confident which was true! She was very confident for Excalibur now. She was going to try very hard to be closer to Excalibur which would be her dream anyways!
"Well, of course I'm very confident! I feel like you've been missing for so long... I really did miss you Excalibur~! Well~... I still am a little shy for you..."
She said with an expression Excalibur, Atsuko, nor Chris have ever seen before! Leena was so different than before. She would lean on her rifle and look at Excalibur with her soft dark green eyes. Clearly... She did miss her a lot. She used to think Excalibur as just an object but now her heart sees her as an individual. It was very weird with her change in personality. Was this real? Leena would be so different than before. She would nod to Excalibur, "Of cooooouuurse~ I wanna catch up on things anyways..." she said winking at her with a smile. Finally, the two began fighting at it and Leena would just lean against Lancer and smirk.
"Lancer... I kinda feel so weird... I feel like I'm suddenly just boosted with energy!" she said trying to remain calm a bit and not too hyper. It felt like she had a shot of love shot up in her mind and it was all feeling good a lot. It was a like drugs had hit her but... She had to stay back in reality! She would look over and try to get herself back together. She watched them go at it for a bit with Atsuko dodging all his shots. Honestly, it was no surprise to her at all. Atsuko was so much more powerful than her little brother. Unfortunately, Atsuko was stronger than everyone...! Including Leena herself but that honestly wouldn't stop Leena from trying to become the absolute best. Atsuko was always ahead of everyone and it was actually sad for Leena. She never could really be on her level. She would sigh, "Well, at least Chris is learning something new! That's actually a sight that would please our parents... If we were related in blood..." she said and actually thought about it. There really was no proof that she was related to him in blood which would make her frown a bit, 'Why do I always get the feeling he's actually my brother? There's literally no proof we're blood related! However, I feel like we actually are blood! GAH~! I really wish I knew... We both seem so good with each other... I wouldn't be surprised if we were blood," she though to to herself.
She would lightly stare off into space...
"Huh... I really should look into that more. I feel like that's important,"
She would think about it more clearly about the importance of it... The importance of Chris and Leena's bloodline. She would hear Excalibur come towards her and that's where she snapped out of it. She looked at her and lightly smiled, "Yeah... I am trying to figure that out actually... She just acquired the most powerful transformation that's current and she's not even practicing with it? If I had Super Saiyan 2, I'd constantly train myself to become the best of the best!" she said in determination as if she had it herself. Of course, she didn't have it herself but she had Super Saiyan too! Not number two... Just the first transformation. She had to practice with it all the time just to get stronger with it and it's been working out so well for her! She had recently just upgraded herself to second grade Super Saiyan which was one leap on the stepping stone. She was certainly improving every time she went into her Super Saiyan form! She went back to listening to Excalibur again which would explain why she go Super Saiyan 2.
Excalibur explained that when Atsuko went into Super Saiyan for the first time... She became a completely new person. She became a better person she guess but when she hits Super Saiyan 2... She goes into a different route and becomes paranoid, distrusting, and fearful. Such is ironic with a power that could literally blow up a hundred suns and not even grow tired still from it. She would sigh and look at Excalibur, "Well... When I transform into a Super Saiyan... I'm back to my arrogant self in a way. I'm still me but I'm more cocky and more aggressive. I don't know why... I see what you mean but it's a power I actually love. It makes me feel good... But at the end it hurts my body like hell! I just wish I could get stronger but I struggle so hard to actually master Super Saiyan itself. I've gotten to the second grade portion but I cannot get any further!" she said in a little huff of aggravation. She'd cross her arm and sigh, "Hey it's okay... I'm honestly glad to see you're here with me,"
Chris wouldn't lie about anything. He really was excited for this training. He wanted to prove that he could get the strength to prove that he could defend his friends. That was what he needed...no wanted to accomplish. His friend were everything to him.. They were the only family he truly had left that he knew of and would have wanted. That was something he was determined to show. That he wasn't going to just sit on the back ground. He was going to prove that he truly could help and he wasn't going to stop training until he could.
His newer friends had shown him so much to work for that he couldn't just keep holding them back. That was why he like Ayami so much, because they were so close to the same power but he knew that she could still surpass him with her power. He couldn't go Super Saiyan and he could only transform into an ape on the nights of a full moon. He wasn't like his "sister" or his Mentor. He wasn't an elite Saiyan and he wasn't related to royalty. He was just him. He was just a regular Saiyan named Chris, who didn't even behave like normal Saiyan besides his love for combat which was countered by his own dislike of fighting for no real good reason.
What kind of a Saiyan was he if he disliked fighting? In a way he was a bit lucky....he still was able to get to this strength without a way of his ki to grow past his normal rates...heck he had been gaining so much power lately so fast he wondered if his body was going to really be able to accept it after this training. That's where he was lucky. He couldn't transform but he still was able to prove strong enough without it. That was something he could atleast live with. He just would have to keep growing in strength. It what he gets really for having not been born an elite.
Though that thought had worried him a bit. Enough to distract him from what his mentor had said about his completion of the intermediate set of his martial arts. All he hear when he got back to the conversation was that he had done good. He couldn't help but worry still if he really could be getting himself sick by this increase of power over such a short time. A body needed to rest and he hadn't been able to let his rest ever since he had finished his beginners training. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to let his body rest after this training....no he still needed to train and grow in strength. Even if he couldn't truly transform like almost everyone else....not take that back, like everyone else he still had to put his own push in to match them. His body could surely take more from it. It's not like it would be the first time he ever pushed it past his limits...than again that was also back when he was pacing out his trainings.
As he began watching Atsuko and Excalibur get into position he recognized it almost immeadiately. The invisible air technique...that must mean that this would be a more powerful form of it. He hadn't even known there were more forms to it but there was something he did want to try that he just couldn't have done with the he base version of it. It was a pretty risky move to try since he had never truly done it before or had the chance, but he had worked out the velocity and the air speed...oh wow he felt as if someone would be calling him a nerd if he spoke these thoughts out loud. Another over complicated thought to lock away until it would be needed.
It was a risky thing to try because it would require him to use the enhanced ki of the second tier slice to manipulate his speed with the effects of gravity as well. Either way he felt that he could do this atleast and add his second variant to the technique like he had at first done with the first tier version of it. Unlike how his last training though he was going to make sure this one worked exactly how it needed to and that he wouldn't lose any more hair or important body parts. It really would stink if he were to end up missing an arm or something like that.
With all needed to be said and done he figured he should atleast warn his mentor that he would be using his own variance with this tech to make it match him as well. No major difference but rather just a few added movements he wanted to do and to test. There was no harm truly in that...at least hopefully there would be any harm in it other wise he would finding out in a rather very painful and hard way. "Master Atsuko I'm going to be trying something of a variance with this technique. It will still be the same attack but I'm going to be trying something to make it fit more with me like I had down with the other technique before. I won't lie though that this will be my first time experimenting with this kind of a variance." Chris would say as he let out a very slight chuckle. More of one just for fun as he looked at his mentor with a sense of....a sense of just pure excitement.
He could do this. He was going to prove to his master that even if he couldn't boost his power like everyone else that he still was able to be strong without it. In that sort of thought he realized it actually was good that he couldn't transform. Even if he could only transform on the full moon and the hopes of reaching the transformations his "sister" and his mentor was impossible for someone as messed up of a Saiyan like himself. He still found that would mean he wouldn't rely on such a transformation. It meant that he could really reach the lengths he would need and be able to prove his strength without the backup of such help. That gave him the strength to keep pushing onward because even if everyone could just change and get stronger he would get stronger himself so he can atleast stand up to them. That would hopefully prove himself to his mentor even if he wasn't the strongest of his training group.
Chris began to manipulate his ki to that of his sword as he launched himself towards his friend, mentor, ....opponent. He could feel the movement of his ki as his blade swung with it's swish of ki energy. It indeed felt more draining than the lesser version had but he still felt it was perfect. With his blade at near full force he attacked with his flurry of attacks but with every other swipe he would swing the blade in tuned with gravity enforced with his own ki to give him enough extra speed to make it look like his rapid movement almost where he would move fast enough to become barely visible to untrained eyes. However he still wasn't ready yet for himself to do it every single swipe and rather was stuck with the every other version for now. As he would most likely be launched backwards eventually by his mentor he would wait for the response of his mentor as he would notice that his sister was talking with Excalibur about something. Lancer had seemed to draw quiet as well but he knew it was most likely not his business.

Christopher spoke about how he wanted to put his own variation on the technique, that was fair enough if he really wanted to... Besides, the more creative he could become in how he fought, the better. It wasn't meant to be direct replications. The Albino Saiyan gave an understanding nod to him. "That's fine. I actually encourage my students to incorporate their own style, everything I show here is just to get them started in the right direction.", the Knight calmly explained. "The training won't end even once you've learned every lesson I have to pass on for the Martial Arts."
The Saiyan confessed. "Although you won't exactly need me as a Mentor anymore. But I'll still fill out that role for those that have need of it.", Atsuko added. This time, the young lad seemed to be much more careful about using these techniques; that was good. The sword was meant to be respected, it wasn't just a tool or a mere weapon. This Martial Arts was meant to treat it as an extension of your very self. For your sword to be mistreated was to mistreat yourself in turn. Most of her students understood this lesson quite well.
Though, there was one in Atsuko's current list that she wasn't really looking forward to... Cambia was a very stubborn girl. The Saiyan wouldn't be able to put it off for much longer, her little sister was dead set on getting some training in. Well, it would still benefit the both of them... But it would still have to come later, Bernael, Ayami, and Christopher had all gotten to her first. Three students was quite a lot to tackle. Four at the same time? The Albino Saiyan might have collapsed from sheer exhaustion at that rate. These kids might not ever actually realize it, but...
They were actually doing a decent job of tiring the Knight out. Christopher then began to channel his energy into his sword, the Albino Saiyan watched his movements carefully, and focused on the sensations of his energy; he was growing strong, and at a very swift rate at that. By her estimations, he wouldn't be far off from transforming into a Super Saiyan at this rate. Especially with how much he was pushing himself in training. The Knight looked forward to that day, she would be able to teach him how to control it. Maybe one day, she could help him with the other forms too...
The young lad then surges towards her and unleashes a much faster and more powerful flurry of slashes. His speed and skill were becoming impressive! All of her students were making such rapid progress, and it never ceased to amaze the Knight; even if she was deflecting every blow that came towards her. The Saiyan smiles once the technique is finished. "You've gotten thorugh the Intermediate portion! That leaves two more steps to go through; Advanced, and then Mark of Mastery. Take a short break in order to catch your breath."
The Saiyan stated in a calm tone of voice. "The rest of this training is going to become very taxing on your energy. You'll experience being drained near entirely of it. But at the end of it, you'll know every lesson I have to pass on to you.", the Knight continued. "Even more, you'll find that you have a greater control over your own energy, and a greater reserve to pull from.", Atsuko adds. She then ponders over what they should perhaps talk about. The Sacred Holy Water was one topic... But it would be a lengthy discussion.
Better saved for the break between Advanced and Mark of Mastery, perhaps. Besides, she still wasn't sure how Leena was going to react to all of that. The Knight then takes notice of how the Saiyan Bounty Hunter and the Sacred Sword are sharing conversation. It was rather surprising to see them getting along... True, Leena cared about her. But this was entirely unlike her, still it wasn't an unpleasant surprise. "As I said, the reason why she's not using Super Saiyan Two is because... She can't hold herself back in it.", the Sacred Sword explained to Leena. It may have sounded unreal, but...
"And with how much power she holds in that form... That's a deadly thing to consider; it's nearly twice the power of her Super Saiyan form. Do you know how many she could end up severely injuring, or even killing within the blink of an eye?", the woman in red continued, casting her gaze downward slightly. "I'm able to hold her back a little... I'm practically the only thing that still gives her clarity when she's like that. I guess it's because I'm related to what allowed her to ascend in the first place.", Excalibur speculated briefly.
"In any case. Everyone that she can train with; they're her friends. Her family, and she doesn't want to risk harming them, even on accident. That's why Atsuko won't use it around others. She at least knows that she won't hurt me... But for everyone else, it's more complicated.", the woman in red finished on that particular part of the subject, listening to Leena's words and giving a small nod in response. "The Super Saiyan forms are difficult to control. You'll need a good basis for controlling your energy; Sense and Suppression. Then you need a certain level of power."
Excalibur began to explain. "When you're at the right level, you need to focus on all the energy that's being wasted by the rage inside, and then you need to call that energy back; use it to prevent the dull on your mind.", the Sacred Sword elaborated further, then gave a small smirk. "That's how I helped Atsuko do it, anyway. You've already reached the first form, I think you can figure the rest out. It's just a matter of when you're ready. You'll know it.", the woman in red ended her thoughts on the matter. "Now, how about something a little more pleasant to talk about?"
Excalibur queried. "We have a little time before they get back into training."

Chris appreciated the thought of his mentor when she actually loved his creativity of the way he fit the techniques to his style more. Things like that just made him happy to know if such a thing. It meant to him that he truly was ready to be able to work with this skill set. He couldn't explain it in words to anyone but yet he felt as if this style matched him perfectly. Like it was a part of him almost. He could feel the strength he could feel just from it as he continued to progress through his skill and grow continually stronger.
"Like someone named Saki, a demon, who kicked me to next street back when I was weaker told me before I got stronger thanks to you. Every moment in this lifetime and the next is only a continuation of our teachings. We can't let it stop us or we would never learn any further and we would just be stuck how we are for the rest of time. I remember from when he challenged me just for fun since he had a spar with my friend Galen and Galen had told him my name. It was a good fight that I will tell the story of once we get a break." Chris would say that even though he had gotten beaten than he still believed it a good fight.
He had launched the attack as expected with his mentor blocking each one did the slashes but it still seemed to him that she seemed suprised of how exactly he had varianted the attack. That was something that only boosted his pride further. Something that boosted his confidence further. He wasn't willing to let that just be put to nothing. He was try
Chris wouldn't lie of that attack. Even though he was happy he had gotten it done successfully he couldn't help but have felt exhausted from it. It had drained him quite a bit but he still had some energy left. It was only a third of what he truly could feel but it was atleast there. That meant he hadn't used all his energy in that attack. He had to be careful with that when he learned the next tier of the attack. He could get this skill down or he wasn't Christopher....he still has as set upon pushing his determination to reach the levels of height.
He still was hoping he would never have to use these skills to hurt someone. He only relied on fighting if it were a last resort. If there were no other options available. He could name a few times when he had to and he had been left with bad memories of each of them afterwards unless they were just doing it as friends. Just for fun. He wondered if maybe the next time he got a chance if Gouken would be willing to have a spar with him. Hopefully Gouken didn't go into his enraged state like he had done with Saki before. Than there wouldn't be a chance for him to fight back almost.
He was glad to have gotten through the intermediate portion of his training and he felt pumped for the advanced portion and than his mastery. But something did worry him that he would ask of after he finished his story while they rested for a bit. He was excited to tell it in honesty but yet he still couldn't shake the question off of his mind. Still it would most likely be best to ask after he finished his story he promised to tell them. He couldn't just let them hang on wondering what had happened the long time ago, before he even became a student to Atsuko.
As he began stretching his body and relaxing it to start regaining some energy he began to speak. " So here is the story, I was having visited with my new friend Galen when he began talking about a demon that had destroyed him practically in a spar. He didn't know about the Mayako Star yet so I explained it to him of how it was the reason the Demon had gained such a power up. I offered to help him training as I've learned the best way to make friends is to have a spar in which you will never forget. We fought sword to hand for what seemed to be hours, each of us countering off each other. At the beginning we hadn't used any techniques yet. At first Galen had the advantage with martial art skills but my slightly higher power was pushing us to have pretty even power and dodge abilities. It was the most fun I had in a long time back than. As that was when I had told Galen that I had wanted to train under Atsuko here when I could find myself strong enough. After what seemed to be hours had passed of us switching even blows without being able to land a hit on each other except one lucky hit I had gotten when I grabbed and twisted his blade, we placed all our power into one final attack against each other. In all reality I would have won except something happened. Galen had accidentally triggered his potiential and his power boost far surpassed mine. My blast was overpowered and I was left unconcious from the amount of power. He however was in no better state because at the time without control of his potiential it caused him harm as well. Once he dragged us to the village we bother passed out and waited a few days to heal up before we went our seperate ways. I went to go visit the Orin temple as I was still training.
That was when I met Saki again and boy did he set me up..he got all the crowd to push me in to have a fight with him. I knew I couldn't beat him and I really didn't want to fight. I still disliked and still do dislike fight in unfair fights as well as for the stupidest reasons. When the fight began he knew just how to push my buttons but yet I still held back because I was scared of hurting someone. He began getting angry and threatened to destroy everyone here but not before popping my arm out of its socket and flying into the air. I had enough and began charging all my energy into one hand. The hand that was dislocated as my other one was still being used to hold that one in place. After what felt like an eterninty of use charging our attacks I launched mine with all my power while he charged only one with about twenty five percent of his own. He wasn't expecting my strength since I had been holding back though.
He moved in behind me and launched his attack from the air. As the red beam was nearing though I launched my ultimate Dawnriser attack. It took everything I got after charging it for such a long time, he had charged his own as well however and it was at fifty percent of his power. However the mayako star had faded only a short while ago and he was weaker than before, but I hadn't expect him to boost his attack by five. As it was nearing me though I thought of all those here that would die from this. I hadn't known that he wasn't really planning to kill anyone. I ended up reaching into the rage and darkness I blocked off in my mind to draw whatever power I could. I was desperate for whatever I could do to help those there. My attack was boosted by atleast fifteen percent and consumed his own beam. The look on his eyes when he saw his attack was overpowered...I won't forget them. However once I was completely out of energy and obviously barely standing..well he launched his most powerfully attack of punches and kicks at me even though I was already conceding. I couldn't feel anything though when he was hitting me what seemed to be atleast a hundred times. That was when everything went black and I woke up a week later. I had found out that Saki was gone, and Leena was gone. So I thought of where I could find her and came to the lookout...where I met you and you accepted me as a student." Chris would finish his story as he looked up to them all smiling. He really didn't harbor any bad feelings towards Saki and actually looked forward to having a chance to beat him the next time. He wasn't ready yet but one day he would be.
"Hey Atsuko I have two questions. What is the mark of Mastery and when I was coming here I felt Ayami's power drop to near death. I had gotten so worried and when I felt it rose I was relieved and noticed she was stronger....is she okay though? That's what I've been worrying about?" Chris would say obviously caring more about his friend than of how she got such a power increase. He could care less for the increased power as long as his friend was okay. That was what mattered to him. The choice was now, would Atsuko lie to him to try and get him to work harder to try and help her or would she say the truth and not risk that chance?
[As it's been more than two days, I'm skipping Leena. But you can join back in later if you want!]
The young lad had a very good way of viewing things, as he agreed that training didn't just stop because one went through every lesson that a Master had to teach. Atsuko gave a nod of agreement at his words, then of course came the time for him to use the technique... But all the while, she was thinking over that story he wanted to share. About the demon named Saki, that was something of very great interest to her. Was that someone she needed to keep an eye out for? Well, Christopher was eager to get into the story now that it was time for a break.
And the Knight was eager to listen! Apparently he had already met the young man named Galen, the one who was eager to prove himself and dedicate his sword entirely to defending Earth. That made some sense, they did seem to recognize each other, after all. Apparently they were very equal in power, save for the fact that Galen was able to call upon that hidden potential of his... How curious, he wasn't entirely unlike Ayami in that regard. It seemed that Saiyans had a much longer way to go before they could tap into anything similar.
Which reminded her, Christopher would one day need training to properly use the Super Saiyan form. There wasn't a doubt in her mind that Leena wanted to be the one to do it, but... Well, Atsuko would want to help him with it in any case, as she was already working on the Super Saiyan Two form. In any case, the young lad continued his story, he eventually ended up at a place called Orin Temple, because he was still in training. That made sense, the Monks were often very skilled individuals with much to teach.
But it was there that he met Saki. That was when the Albino Saiyan listened especially closely to his story. Whoever this Saki was... They were pushing people around, given Christopher's story here. He really didn't appreciate the fact that he was forced into a fight the way he was, and the Demon even went so far as to instigate it by any means necessary. And when it wasn't going the way he wanted, he became angry and threatened to destroy everyone there... The more the Knight heard about Saki, the more she realized he would be something that she must deal with in the future.
Christopher managed to keep him from killing everyone there, but once the fight was over he just kept pressing on, beating the young lad into unconsciousness. The Saiyan takes a deep breath. "...I see. I'm going to have a little talk with Saki at some point, then.", the Knight stated, there was only the slightest hint of anger in her voice. People like him really needed to be put into their places. Attacking Christopher, and threatening everyone like that... Saki was going to regret it, she was going to make sure of that somehow.
Even if Christopher didn't harbor any ill will towards him, that didn't change how Atsuko felt on the subject. In any case however, the young lad proceeds to ask her two questions. The first is what the Mark of Mastery would be, and then of course what happened to Ayami. The Knight takes a deep breath, they were rather lengthy answers... "The Mark of Mastery is when you learn the final technique of the Martial Arts I have to teach you. You'll be calling upon Excalibur's true power in that moment; but before you can attempt it, you must learn every other lesson that comes before it."
The Knight explains. "As for what the technique is, I'd like to save that for when you're ready... Which won't be much longer at this rate!", the Saiyan added, now smiling since they were passed the discussion involving Saki. "As for Ayami... I offered her the chance to drink the Sacred Holy Water, and she accepted. The Sacred Holy Water purifies the one who drinks it of their sins and the darkness inside of them, and for those with a potential yet untapped... It strengthens them. However, it doesn't come without a cost."
The Albino Saiyan began to explain to Christopher. "The Sacred Holy Water can kill those who drink it if they are of a particularly dark nature. Though even those more inclined to the Light suffer it's adverse effects; I was put through immense suffering when I drank the Sacred Holy Water, and everyone who has attempted it has gone through the same.", the Knight elaborates further. "I believe that you would be able to drink the Sacred Holy Water, but know the risks associated with it. Think on it carefully before you decide to just do so... That was what I wanted to discuss with you earlier."
The Saiyan admitted. "But I believed that Leena, who has drank the Sacred Holy Water herself, wouldn't want you to drink it because of the risks and pain involved. If you want to drink the Sacred Holy Water, I'll be able to take you to it after our training, if you so wish.", the Albino Saiyan stated. Speaking of which, his energy had regathered to the point that they should be able to continue into the Advanced lessons now. In light of that, the Knight decides it would be the perfect time to explain them...
"Now, our first lesson for the Advanced level will be concerning the stance once more. This time you'll be combining everything you've learned in the previous stances, but you'll also be using everything at your disposal to create openings. It's... Remarkably difficult to explain, so I shall demonstrate it for you.", the Albino Saiyan states, and then makes her way over to the center of the Reality Marble, Excalibur following suit. The pair takes stance once more, and they shoot towards each other. This time however, their blades don't clash. Now it's as if their swords are moving as if perfect parallels to each other.
It didn't look like a battle anymore, but more like a choreographed dance of some sort. It applied every previous lesson of the Martial Arts, indeed. It took it all to new heights, as well. Finally, the pair unleashes a final flourish with their respective swords, and then they step back from each other and give a respectful bow. Atsuko then turns to Christopher, once more wearing a smile on her face as she takes stance. "When you're ready... I'd like for you to attack me yet again utilizing everything you've learned, alongside what you saw in the demonstration."
The Knight stated. She wished that there was a better way to explain all of this; but the simple truth was that there wasn't. It was an art form, and art could scarcely be explained through words. It was something that had to be learned by doing. Christopher had a good head on his shoulders, however. He came this far, and this certainly wouldn't deter him now, the Albino Saiyan was certain of that much. So with that in mind, she once more watches his movements closely. It was still strange for her to think that he was so close to being a Master now.
And at such a young age, at that! Her students really did never cease surprising her. Then again, apparently the Knight had accomplished equally impressive feats. Including being able to master an entire Martial Arts within a single day, the only other person to do that being Bernael. Still... That didn't take away from what her other students were becoming. They would be full fledged Knights. Bernael, Ayami, Christopher and Cambia... Four Knights to defend Earth, and Atsuko at the helm to help direct them where they were needed most.
While she was proud of the system she was able to create, she hoped that she wouldn't need to make use of it...

Chris couldn't help but think of everything that has brought him here so far. Every step he had taken to continue his training. Every day he lived for constant training with little breaks. However he couldn't help but notice that this training with hi mentor as well as his sister watching him seemed to motivate him further. Something he hadn't thought of truly until now. Them helping him train made him find that strength he found himself needing to use to keep his body moving. He just had to keep pushing limits...for them. The sister who wasn't his true relative and the mentor who had shown him care as well as training him to this point.
He couldn't forget Excalibur either. Without her his mentor wouldn't have even been able to become a master of these techniques. He looked up towards his sister and mentor. Both of whom had helped him gain so much in yet such short times. Both had been the cause of the very path he followed to his heart's content. There was nothing that would tell him different for the earth was his home and he was going to be there to defend it whenever it would need him. That was a promise he planned on keeping no matter where he went, no matter what planet he reached. No matter where he would be there, because that was just who he was and he would never change it.
He was never going to stop learning as every step he would take would involve something new so even if his mastery of this school are to come than he knew that he would still have more to learn, more to do. His true training and learning really would never end but he still would give it up for anything. Even if he would hopefully never have to fight someone to the death truly he would at least do what he could to make sure others could rely on him for help when ever they will need it. He didn't know when that day would come but even if he could never become a super Saiyan he would atleast do his best to try.
That was really the only thing that held him back from the other nowadays. He didn't have any sort of power up he could just tap into whenever but he still was just willing to push as hard as any of them. He was willing to fight as hard as any of them. He was willing to fight alongside them even if he was over whelmed himself. That was his warrior way, he would never let a friend fight a threat on their own. Not unless they requested him to stay out of a fight because to him a friend's life was more important than anything else for that matter, more important than his very own.
He was ready to begin his training again though. He could feel the energy running through body now more vividly than he ever felt it before. Something about it this time just felt different. He didn't know yet what it was but yet something felt as if it was giving him the energy to keep moving forward even when he still had loads to face. What if this power was just truly from himself though? What if he was just growing more accustomed to the energy of his own body that he was beginning to manipulate it better? That thought hadn't even occurred to him until quite figuratively just now. It meant he still had limits to push and pressures to face..
However this was the very thing that excited him. He could feel his excitement burning from his body's want to train harder and to keep pushing on. He wasn't ready to just give up yet. Alas though his questions he had asked of his mentor were answered though. He was mainly just happy to know that Ayami was okay. He didn't know what he would do if he had found out she was hurt. She was one of his best friends and if anyone dares to hurt her...his dislike of fighting wouldn't hold him back against them. That was one thing he was absolutely positive of. That was something he hoped would never end up happening.
" So that's what the mark of mastery is...well it looks like I still will have to work for it..I'm not done with training yet." Chris would say with a rather happy smile, one to truly give anyone looking hope and a warmth inside of joy. Something that some might find hard to find otherwise. He still had a ways to press if he wanted to be as strong as Ayami had gotten. Now that he thought of it though he truly has never gotten to spar with her really yet. "I am mainly glad though...that she's okay. I got worried when I had began flying towards here." Chris would smile and say as he began speaking again. "Now let's get back to our training."
However there was something still bothering him. Was the holy water the reason his sister had changed so much? Why she had seemed so changed after one day of having met her at that campfire? Than what had she truly been like before? What if she had been a cruel murderer before? No that didn't matter now, she changed her ways. What mattered now was how she was now. He was happy to just be with that. Besides they considered each other like family almost. What better way could there really be.
As he began to watch once more and take mental notes as Atsuko began to explain the attack again he smiled at the thought of how well everything had been going. His skills were truly improving and with each step he couldn't feel himself growing with each movement. Not physically but rather mentally. Though he would admit he still acted like a teen, he would never get rid of that. That was something he found was always going to stick, at least for him. Now he could just continue his training with Atsuko and hope his sister was impressed by how fast his power was growing.
He watched as the blade did not clash, not once even. He would admit that it did take some skill but he had grown accustomed to the style by now. He just had to let his mind flow free but yet with its own restraints for if it was too free he would lose complete focus and fail, but if he were to put too much of a restraint than he wouldn't be able to keep up the swipes without clashing blades. No, this was going to require a decent amount of concentration while also keeping his own pace. This was probably going to be one of his tougher challenges in quite a while but yet that seemed to excite him to a degree of which he didn't even know was there at first.
Chris brought out his sword once more as he began to move towards his mentor with only a grace of movement instead of a rush. Swinging his blade in ways that only a curved blade could. He was harnessing what he could to make sure the blades didn't truly clash together. It was difficult at first like all things were at first but he could help but be excited as he could fell his energy rising back since he hadn't ended the use of his own power to fuel this attack. It was relieving of a feeling to be able to truly trust his own skills and techniques, as well as his own faith in his movements, that was when it clicked on his mind.
The reason the blades weren't meant to clash meant that they could hold more power to their swings as well as be able to move faster... How he had not thought of that before simply astonished him. How was it that he had missed something so vital in this that he hadn't thought of before. It just proved what he had said earlier to himself once more. He truly did have a lot more to learn than he had really though before. Just to realize that made him smile. He could feel his attacks were becoming fluent while keeping from hitting her blade. From what came of twice now became once to be come gone afterwards.
