History:
Kyuri was around since long before the Alliance-Empire war, in fact, she was around long before the saiyan alliance was ever a thought. She is the mother of Tomoroko, a saiyaness born to her from the Alliance's previous Overseer, Etorin. Both Kyuri and Tomoroko lived together as low class saiyans for a large part of their lives, that was until Tomoroko found Natto, became an elite soldier of the Empire, and moved her mother up to at least mid class accommodations.
For years Kyuri lived within the Empire, fighting their battles like the good little soldier she was, but never truly growing in strength. Kyuri had more brains than she had brawn, instead of going on missions, she would soon find herself setting up shop on Vegeta, building and advancing many different pieces of technology. Things like Scouters, gravity chambers, holo projection rooms... you name it, Kyuri could do it!
Just before the Empire's war against planet Earth, Kyuri had started to work with cybernetics, outfitting one of Tomo and Natto's squad members with an artificial leg that far surpassed any technology the Empire currently had. From there, Kyuri only continued to build and become smarter.
When the war on Earth ended, and both Natto and Tomo were declared traitors to the Empire, Kyuri didn't return to her home, instead chosing to stay with her daughter. Personally, she had no problem with how the Empire was run. She had spent many years as a soldier, even if she was low class, but she could never complain. However as she grew older, her family became more important to her. And so, Kyuri supported the budding idea of a safe haven for Saiyans who were sick of the ways of the Empire.
Thus was founded the Saiyan Alliance, with Natto as their Overseer, and both she and Tomoroko as Counselor's. Seeing as Kyuri still hadn't gained very much strength, she was instead put in charge of their technological resources, their research and development, communications, etc etc.
During the years of peace on planet Natto, Kyuri had secretly began working on changing her own body. Finding uses in making herself an Android, instead of solely biological. For starters, she would live for much longer than she would normally, then there was the benefits of being able to repair herself and improve herself in ways she was unable to before she had changed. With this transformation, slowly but surely, Kyuri's strength would start to rise, though still no where on an elite level. At least not Planet Natto's elites.
Her experiments finally showed their merit once her ex-mate, Etorin, managed to take over the Alliance after the death of her daughter and son in law. He had imprisoned or killed anyone that opposed him, keeping her alive solely as a joke to him. Here was the lowly Etorin, now Overseer of an alliance he would change to his liking! A man Kyuri considered less than trash, holding her life in his hands once more. He felt good to have her in such a position. However, Kyuri was in no real danger. Even as Etorin finally disposed of her, she was easily able to be repaired once the new Overseer, Nasu, returned to Planet Natto and claimed the seat.
To this day, Kyuri continues her works in technological research and continues to improve her body day by day. Her ultimate goal (at least for herself) is to one day push herself into a Super Saiyan state, even if she has to simply imitate it...
