The Diablo Desert was another section of the eastern islands Hisashi preferred avoiding, mostly because the people there were fairly decent and didn't really disturb the natural enviroment in truly harmful ways. But also because it was hellishly hot during the day and while her signature outfit allowed for extreme ease of movement despite her wearing a long skirt, it would only serve to make the heat worse. The wolf girl would trudge across the desert towards a small settlement her father wanted her to check out for.. whatever reason, he wasn't ever clear with his reasoning if he even tried to to begin with. It wasn't the first time the Konatsian had sent her hybrid daughter off to check out some of the more civilized areas of the eastern islands, but this tiny little village he wanted her to see was a whole lot bigger than a massive city like the east city or Satan city. He knew Hisashi hated large cities and huge crowds of people just as much as he hated excessively loud high-pitched noises in his hearing sensitive pointy Konatsian ears, but she needed social interaction quite badly.
For a sixteen year old she had the innocence of a small and the street smarts of a chicken crossing the road, but on the bright side she could sword-fight better than the average swordsman or woman. Although that could depend on how the people involved saw sword-fighting- nowadays, most people used ki manipulation to power their strikes or to fire energy attacks from their weapon, and while Hisashi may be able to fire off the wind scar it was nowhere near as powerful as some of the attacks that were out there. Point is, she was capable of putting up a decent fight against the dangers of the big cities.
Hopefully, there would be no need for any senseless fighting. If there was anything she looked for in specific it was just menial conversation, or even more information about the dominant species within her genes. She knew far more about Konatsians than she did elemi. Other than the name, she knew very little about the origins and how to control the innate powers she got as a result of being one of them- at least not anywhere near as efficiently as some of the other elemi she had met thus far- which would mean only one- but for goodness sake, she had a familiar! Hisashi could barely even create a strong gust of wind without the help of her swords or intense meditation.
The swords just made it easier to use her powers offensively- they had belonged to her mother, from which she had inherited the aforementioned set of dual swords- but she was long gone at this point. Hisashi had never even met her. She didn't even know what her name was, or what she looked like. It was like she had just up and vanished after she was born. It was mildly upsetting whenever Hisashi thought about it but she wasn't going to let negative thoughts ruin her already crappy trip through the desert so she focused on the day ahead and what she had planned. Pretty much go to this settlement she was supposed to see, say hello to random strangers, get something to drink, then go home and crash hard.
Plans easily changed though. She definitely hadn't planned on becoming a knight when she climbed the lookout- so really anything could happen.

The desert. Yeah, it was hot and dusty. Little to no moisture. It was everyone's worst nightmare, right? Nope. The young flame enjoyed riding out in the desert in her custom made hovercraft. It had a sick flame paintjob and everything, color black and red. Flare had her hair loose as the convertible roof was let down to feel the wind. Long, red hair blowing in the hot winds of the Diablo. Her little robot assistant, Jax, was with her. Snuff fit in the passenger seat and buckled in like any ordinary person would be. She wasn't kicking up any dust from the height she was going up at, but she always had a genuine car about her vehicles. Prevalent when she started asking Jax some questions as they rode.
"Alright, Jax. Mind going over protocols? Before you ask, it's the NEW ones I put in ya." She wasn't willing to let the robot go out on its own quite yet until it learned how to use what she gave him. The little robot was looking around the landscape as she asked it, green eyes popping open wide as he was asked question. Facing back to her.
"Self Defense protocols. In the event either interior and or exterior components of my metal body come into contact with harmful force, I am first to enact safety precautions. If that fails, I am to retaliate with force equal or sufficiently greater than the opposition, if able. Not to be used to preemptively provoke or harm others. Health and Repair analysis is to deal with the aftermath of such affairs, including helping those who may have used force to attempt harm on my body in the first place." The little robot rambled off what sounded like word for word instructions so the thing could understand properly. "Use the less excessive force for the situation as you possibly can, right?" He already translated that into common speak, the small robot rewarded with a pat on that small titanium head of his. Flare was absolutely beaming.
"Great!" Even as Flare said this, she knew she couldn't just let him be free without making sure he could do it in practice as well. The robot had plenty of trouble in the past seeing intention. he took blasts, punts, and the like without much form of knowing what to do to counter it. "You're not ready yet though, little man. I- Huh...?" The elemi slowly started squeezing down on the breaks as she felt something around her... it was weak, yeah, but was someone REALLY just... waltzing around in the desert? It certainly wasn't a desert scorpion giving off that power. At least, she hoped. The car eventually stops at a idle hover way above the desert floor. The elemi turned the radio down as well as she focused on what she felt.
"Surely there's not a human down there, wallowing in the heated sand or something. Or a Saiyan. Or... well, someone not me." The hovercar found itself slowly settling down as she brought the vehicle closer to the ground. She didn't see much in front of them, as it turned out...

Hisashi's ears would twitch and tried to move in the direction of the distant music- at least thats what she assumed the distant noise was. Possessing some traits Konatsians enhanced Hisashi's ability to hear from great distances. Not nearly to the same extent as a full-blooded Konatsian, but with how quiet the desert had been it probably wouldn't take some special hearing ability to hear the music. 'I'm not the only one that's crazy enough to willingly be out here, then?' The wolf girl would think to herself as she turned her head towards the direction of the noise. It would grow fainter for awhile so Hisashi simply assumed the source was not headed in her direction and so she would continue on her not-so-merry way.
She would stop once again as she started to hear the music as well as.. a car? Some kind of motorized vehicle? She at least knew what such a thing looked and sounded like- she couldn't possibly be that out of touch with modern-day technology. Hisashi would place a hand above her eyes as she narrowed them and looked off into the distance of the source. Whether she needed them or not, Hisashi's far-seeing arts would allow her to see the source of all these strange noises quite clearly. The desert terrain was flat enough to allow for a decent enough image.
The air elemi would blink twice, cancelling her ability out and scratching the top of her head. "Huh.. What could they want?" Hisashi would think outloud, noting that the vehicle had been stopped. 'Cars stop working, right? Maybe that's why they stopped.' Thoughts like that only gave her more reasons that just simple curiousity to approach the vehicle and its occupants- which was what she already aimed to do.
It would be an extra bit of walking but it was more likely to be worth it than it was to be an utter waste of time. Besides, one of the vehicles occupants had a strange feel to them. She couldn't sense Ki to save her life as she was mostly uneducated when it came to manipulating her Ki with out a sort of focus. But she could definitely feel something very closely similar to what she felt the first time she had been near Ayami, however this feel also had a bit of distinction to it. Ayami's felt calmer- almost soothing, whereas this one was much more intense.
Hisashi would soon be closing in on the vehicle- no sort of enhanced sight or Ki sense would be needed to tell something like that, especially so with how the white and red of her color scheme went with the desert. The wolf girl would stop just as soon as she was an appropriate enough distance away to have a conversation with the occupants of hovering vehicle. "Is your car thingy okay?" The air elemi asked, unsure of what the most appropriate name was for the vehicle she was looking at so 'car thingy' would have to be a placeholder.
Hisashi was clearly no Saiyan, her silver tail was a lot bushier than a monkey and a color not even possible for them- at least not unless they were a hybrid. Human could be debated considering she had no obvious trait to suggest she was of Konatsian or elemi decent other than her pale skin. The best way to tell she was an elemi due to her dmixed blood- even though it was far from a visible trait- would just be by reading her energy. Or if really looking for a visible sign, just really piss her off.
As the halfie got closer and closer to her vehicle, this sense became much more accurate in its distinction of where it was at. It would be obvious to anyone who had ever seen a running vehicle that the hovercar was still operating. Quieter than when it was revved up, but still howling quietly in the sun-beat desert. Flare decided to go ahead and pop the door open and get out of her seat. The way she nearly flew off the car could have brought to question if she needed to open the door in the first place. Energetic, fiery, not an drop of sweat on her even in the blistering heat. The fire elemi looked in the general direction of where Hisashi was, watching the girl's slow approach with a scratch of her chin.
"Hmm... do they have a tail or something?" She squinted her eyes at the approaching figure, soon proven right as Hisashi trailed on up close tot he hovercraft to ask about the condition of the car. Flare couldn't help but smirk at the use of 'thingy' in describing it, mindlessly leaning against it as she started speaking back to the girl. "'Car thingy'? Hahahaaaa!" She shook her head as she laughed, snorting a few times in between before she pat the side of the L.A.D.D with her free hand. The lady shook her head. "No, no. It's fine. Dust's not going to tear it up." And the free hand went to her hip as she looked the chick over with a now perked brow, still smirking. "I actually stopped by to see who was crazy enough to be in this heat. Someone not me. You seem like you'd be having it the worst there, cupcake." The fur must have been super hot and insulating, it was a fair assumption. "Tell me, ya a lost puppy, or do you know where you're goin'? Because I can offer you a ride. No need for anyone to be miserable walking out here." The still seated robot was looking over his shoulder, too small to actually see the conversation but smart enough to know where it came from. he was curious, as always.
"Flare, who is that?" This male voice coming from the car was apparently his. The young flame perked up at the mention of names and the like and decided to now get off the car and offer a hand to shake towards the pup. "Ahh, we haven't introduced yet. The name's Flare."

Hisashi would blink a couple of times when Flare had started laughing. One of her ears would twitch and she would tilt her head to the side as she wasn't exactly sure what was so funny about 'car thingy'. It wouldn't be the first time someone had laughed at her use of words towards certain things- she still honestly believed that all Majin's were made of bubblegum and that the colors meant different flavors. Of course she had never bitten into a Majin to make sure of her strange theory, but she just couldn't see them being anything else. The wolf girl found the fire elemi's laugh to be contagious, causing her to giggle a bit at her own weird use of words. She would cease her little giggles as Flare continued speaking to her, her tail curling up behind her while she put a hand up to her mouth like she had been caught committing some kind of crime.
"I'm out here patrolling the eastern islands. I usually avoid the desert to be honest, it really is a pain in the rear- especially with these weights on." Hisashi would state, putting her hand back down by her side. "I was told they would make me stronger, but maybe I should've waited to wear them until I was actually training.." The wolf girl added on muttering mentally smacking herself upside the head for not realizing she didn't have to wear them at all. The sudden male voice that Hisashi could not see the source of nearly made her jump out of her skin. "Oh, uh.. My name is Hisashi." One of the elemi's ears would twitch as she introduced herself before putting her hand out and giving Flare a handshake. "I have been getting lost a lot lately. I've been out here for hours- I was supposed to be headed towards one of the cities but I think I might've strayed off the correct path. It's not like I wanted to go anyway. I hate big cities."
As the wolf girl was explaining herself to Flare, Jax had already gotten into the process of fumbling out of the hovercraft. The two of them could easily hear the noise made by him unbuckling and what not, but Flare didn't seem to mind all that much. It was more interesting to just watched the more feral body functions as Hisashi experienced different emotions towards what she has said. Ear twitching, tail swaying. The young flame had seen plenty of zoanthropes similar to her. This handshake they'd exchange, the woman's hands felt rough and grubby. They were working hands.
"Well Hisashi, first thing I have to ask ya." it was the first of a few things she caught onto from what the wolfie had said. "Why are you out here traveling if you hate where you're going? And why in the blazing stars would you WALK there? - You know what." She was going to keep on with that but decided against it as she attempted to pat Hisashi's head. "Just tell me the city you're suppose to be going to an I'll take ya there." Jax jumped down off the other side of the car and quickly waddled on over to meet up next to Flare. Green eyelids just blinked up at the halfie.
"Or maybe take ya somewhere out of the desert even. Maybe talk about why you're going to the city in the first place."

Hisashi kept glancing behind Flare and at the car as the fire elemi spoke to her. If Flare found Hisashi's extra canine parts moving in response to her enviroment she would get to see a lot more of them. Jax's noise didn't necessarily bother her, what really bothered her was that she didn't have a clear line of sight to the little robot doing what ever it is little robots do. But with every little noise, the one ear that was closest to the car would move towards it or twitch once or twice in a short little burst.
For someone who worked and played in all kinds of wilderness, her hands were surprisingly unscathed. Perfect? No, but definitely in better condition than they really should be. And there would be a good explanation for it if Flare had taken notice. "My dad wanted me to- Well, you see, I'm wearing these really heavy.. weight thingies, and so he's been making me walk extra long distances to get me used to the weight. Both times he's had me go out I got stuck in some crappy weather and this time it's just way too hot to bear. Aside from the training stuff though, he was having me head for Satan city." Hisashi explained to the best of her abilities while motioning to the aforementioned weights using her hands.
The little robot that hopped out of Flare's car was the most interesting man-made thing she had ever, and she expressed this by staring at the little guy. Upon first seeing Jax, she would blink once. She wasn't sure how else to react to seeing the owner of the green eyes that had just blinked up at her. Flare had easily gotten her attention back by petting her on the head- she never protested against being pet, scratched, hug, or anything like that. Unless someone got way too touchy-feely then Hisashi would pretty much consent to most more innocent forms of affection.
"I would rather leave the desert- I hate being so far from home and the lookout." Hisashi shook her head- she wasn't even gonna pull the whole 'I don't wanna be a bother' card, it was too damn hot to be acting like that. "Where were you headed?"
