A large teal colored attack came soaring towards Kinoko's face at an amazing speed, giving the young saiyaness a very small window to react to it. She would charge up her crimson colored ki and hold it against her body as a sort of shield. Instead of flying back away from the beam, she would suddenly charge straight for it, fueling as much Ki as she possibly could into her attack.
"DARK IMPACT" She cried out, power radiating through her words as her body slammed into the oncoming beam. The instant that both beams collided there was a huge explosion that filled the arena in a thick smoke that covered both combatants from sight.
< OH! What a fight! this is the first time anyone's been able to put up a serious fight against our reigning champ! Could this be it!? The end of her reign? Just got to wait for this smoke to clear..! Aha! They're both standing! Wow what an impressive display of power! Oh! But wait a minute! >
As the announcer spoke, the smoke began to clear, revealing both female fighters still standing in the arena. Both were beaten rather badly, bleeding and bruised up from their fight, armor hanging from their bodies and suits completely torn. Neither woman seemed to be standing very firmly at all, and as the announcer spoke, Kinoko's opponent began to wobble, soon falling face first into the dirt in front of her.
< Cynna is down! Amazing! That's another win for our champion! This fight really took it's tole out on both fighters though! Someone get a medic team down there! >
The announcer continued to speak about the fight, going back to the highlights of the fight as two medical teams came out to the field. One team picked up Cynna and carried her off, while another walked over to Kinoko who fell back onto her butt panting heavily with a huge smirk on her face. She was really starting to love her life here... In it's own way, it was peaceful, it was perfect... she wasn't sure she could finish her master's work at this point... but that didn't matter right now. She had been fighting in the arena day after day while the war party was headed off towards Earth, using every experience to her advantage to get stronger. She even made sure to constantly wear weights when she fought... meaning as exhausted as she was now, she still had some strength in reserve... she just needed to peel this armor off of her...
The medics began helping Kinoko back up to her feet, and with a smile and quick thank you, she pulled herself away from them.
"I'm fine. I'd rather heal naturally." She assured them, only giving in to one medic who insisted she at least take a pill to help her healing process along. She agreed to that, but with that done she started walking out of the arena. She could definitely use a drink after that fight... She was almost starting to forget that she was meant to train with the newest Councillor as she hadn't heard a thing from him recently.

The Arena. Jie Shan stared at it from a distance, waiting for the fight within to end. So, he thought, that's where his charge had been spending her time. Jie Shan smirked, remembering his own arena bout. He'd nearly died. The young warrior Komatsu had seen to that. Of course, he hadn't, or he'd not be staring at it right now. No, instead, it was where he had ascended to the ranks of the fabled Super Saiyans. Good times, he thought, except for the whole nearly dying thing. He could have done without that. Briefly, Jie Shan wondered what in the world his one time foe might be up to now. It had been some time since he'd seen either of the old Overseer's children.
Jie Shan could feel the raging energies from within. Quite the fight, he thought, and he was sorry to have missed it. It might be nice to be on the spectator side of things for once. Hopefully, none of the fights within ended in death or maiming. The young halfblood was not fond of unnecessary bloodshed. It made his skin crawl. Perhaps that was why he had been so loathe to strike at the young Komatsu. Killing was rarely justified, in his mind. Of course, he added, there were the bastards who really deserved it. He thought he knew one or two of those...
The battle within stopped. He felt one of the energies go slack, knocked out. Not his charge, he noted. He could still feel her energy burning bright. Very good, he thought. She was strong. This might make it interesting. Jie Shan made for the arena, working his way through the swaths of people leaving it. He closed his eyes, mind searching for any sign of Kinoko. And finally, he felt her. The woman's ki pinged against his mind, and he steered himself through the crowd and down the street, looking for her. Finally, he spotted her in the distance. Briskly, he picked up the pace, rushing to catch up with her.
Ah, Kinoko," he said as he came up alongside her, "I've been looking for you. I'm sure you remember, but I was put in charge of you. Though I suppose it has been awhile."
He sighed and shook his head. "I apologize. My new counselor duties keep me rather busy, is all," he continued, "Though, if you're not busy yourself, I thought I'd take this opportunity to check in on you."
As he awaited her response, he was suddenly aware just how flippant that sounded, how arrogant it sounded. It sounded as if he were making time for her, like a busy father making time for a child. He hated that.
"Of course," he added, "You probably don't need checking in on. I'm sure you are getting along just fine here on Planet Natto, making a name for yourself in the arena and such. So, think of this as a social call, rather than something official."
There, he thought, that sounded better. By the gods, he thought, he was truly becoming a real bureaucrat. Best if he nipped that in the bud right now. He'd hate to seem himself become a stuffy and boring man, especially when he was still so young.
"Well hello there Cap... urg, Councillor." Kinoko said as a bright smile crossed her dirty face. Thanks to the medics and their medication, she was able to walk herself out of the arena, and while she looked worse for wear she seemed to be doing alright after what felt like an intense battle. Whenever he spoke to her though it was so formal and stiff, this caused the girl to pout as she stopped walking and crossed her arms as she looked at him. Before she could say anything though, he corrected himself and this caused the smirk to play her lips once more.
"I'm sorry I haven't exactly reported in for anything, I wasn't quite sure what was expected of me so I found my way here. And yeh, I have been making a name for myself, not only are the boys drooling over me, no one's bested me just yet! hehehe although, I bet if I were put up against someone like you, my winning streak would come to a... grinding halt." She would say with a wink as she uncrossed her arms and headed towards Jie. She would loop her arm around his, as she turned them around to head out of the arena. She doubted anything he could want with her would take place here.
"So then Councillor, if this is a social call, what can I do for you~" She would say in an almost sing song voice as she teased him, holding herself close to him in a rather ...overly friendly manner.

Captain, he thought, that was his old title. He was both a Councillor and a Leiutenant Colonel as well. Though he was not one to get uppity over titles, or even pay them special mind. Of course, he minded other people's titles, if only to show them the respect that they deserved or to maintain certain pleasantries. But him? He could care less what words people attached to his name.
The Saiyaness apologized, but Jie Shan shrugged it off. Another thing he was not particular about. In fact, he'd been far too busy to notice if anybody had been missing for anything. But it was good to hear that she was enjoying herself. She approached him, and looped her arm through his. Interesting, he thought, this was not something that he had expected. But it was not entirely unpleasant, nor did he mind. Be professional, he reminded himself. But he'd already called it a social visit...
"Heh, I'm sure you could give my a run for my money if you tried. One does not get to be an undefeated arena champion without having some tricks up their sleeves," he chuckled, "And I'm sure you have quite the fan club. I'd be more surprised if you didn't."
She asked what she could do for him. Jie Shan smirked. But he did not say what he was thinking. Instead, he continued along with the niceties. "Oh, nothing in particular, Kinoko," he said, keeping his voice casual, "And please, call me Jie Shan. This is social after all. I was thinking that perhaps we could go somewhere and get caught up. I'm quite interested in hearing more about you and the goings ons."
Hello. I'm Jie Shan and I staff here. Anybody who needs help or wishes to plot is free to contact me on site, Skype, or Discord.

"There are many ways that I could give you a run for your money, but I think in the arena you have me beat! I heard that you are able to become a Super Saiyan, and that's something I could never dream to compete with! All of that power at your fingertips must be extremely exhilarating... If I were able to do that... then I don't think I'd ever change back! hehehe! As for any aces up my sleeves, I think that afore mentioned fan club would be about it! Even if someone could beat me, I think there'd be a lineup to beat them as they tried to exit the arena!" She would speak so excitedly about Jie Shan's Super Saiyan transformation, then quickly move back to the topic of the overly hormonal men that would seem to do anything to get into her pants.. or lack there of. Of course she had no intention of going through with any of her flirting with any of them, but that didn't stop her from using it to her advantage and wrapping them around her thumbs.
They would finally make their way outside of the arena walls, and Kinoko would take in a deep breath of the fresh air. Finally it didn't smell like sweat and wet fur! It was so nice to finally be back out. As Jie Shan spoke, Kinoko would raise one of her eyebrows with a playful smile playing on her lips. Her tail would gently wave this way and that as they spoke.
"Alright, Jie Shan. That's going to take some getting used to! Why don't we go out for a drink then? I would definitely use a mug or two after that!" She would say cheerily, happy to follow him to wherever he thought best to go, or lead the way in the event he was un certain. Regarless, her playful nature would begin to die down slowly, as she thought of something she should have reported to him a while ago, but was honestly unsure if it was wise of her to do so or not.
"Speaking of the goings on... There was something strange that happened a few weeks ago... I meant to report it but with the chaos of the war party leaving and everything, it kind of just slipped my mind. An... old acquaintance of my master's arrived on the planet, but she isn't a saiyan. She's Brenchian. She came by to recruit me for something new she's working on independently now. I said no of course but... she was speaking about being part of a team, secretly put together by the Overseer and the Councillors. I'm not clear on all the details, and I didn't ask... I just kind of wanted to get as far away from anything related to my old master. Anyways, point is I don't believe her, and I've been keeping an eye on her since then, but I lost track of her just yesterday. She hasn't done anything suspicious, it's just odd that there is an alien here at all from what I've seen..." Kinoko would explain, trying to go into as much detail as she could, playing off of the same story Murdra had told Chris.

Fennle [Thread Power Level: 113,791] [Ki Suppression On. Current Power Level: 5]
The saiyaness Captain was just outside the arena when she noticed two well-known figures coming out of it, walking side by side. The first one and most recognizable one was Counselor Jie Shan Lan Dian, who held the rank of Lieutenant Colonel; a quite high rank for someone who had been just a private months ago, which immediately made her sigh in mild annoyance; Fennle disapproved such a sudden rise, but seemed like Nasu liked to reward the ones who were loyal to him. ”Or the ones who lick his balls the better I suppose…” she thought to herself, briefly, giggling a bit as she did so. Then, her light-brown eyes fell onto Kinoko, the one best recognized by her breast-size rather than anything else. Oh, yeah, she was also getting a name for herself for beating people up in the arena, a fame that the boy named Negi had before her.
When she walked out, Fennle, out of sheer boredom, decided to walk behind them, trailing the two in order to hear what they were talking about. When Kinoko brought up the idea of a team composed of a brenchian, or at least talked by a brenchian, that was supposed to be a secret and was being formed by the Overseer himself, and the fellow counselors, Fennle couldn’t help but to laugh out loud, holding her stomach in a clear mocking way. It was enough to make both of them to notice she had been following them, and she didn’t seem to care if that would get her into trouble, since, in the end, although holding a high rank such as Captain, she was still misbehaving in front of a counselor and a Lieutenant Colonel.
– Hahahaha! I’m sorry! I couldn’t help myself! Nasu? Forming a team with a brenchian? Or a brenchian, an alien, knowing his plans?! Hahahaha! It’s just… Hilarious! I know him since we were kids, and I can tell you one think, Miss Shining Star of the Arena: he is worse than his father regarding aliens! Hahaha! – she said, stopping her laugher a bit and resting her hands on her hips, leaning her body to the side a bit, while swaying her tail from one side to the other. Fennle was a beautiful saiyan on her own. She had a muscular build and a well-developed body. She wore nothing but a small battle swimsuit underneath her simple battle suit that barely covered her ass. All the way up to the middle of her thigh she wore a pantyhose the same tone – black as her battle swimsuit.
– Oh, but you know that all too well, right Captain Jie Shan… Or Major… Or Lieutenant Colonel… I mean, did he make you Colonel, yet? I’ve lost track of just how many ranks you’ve skipped! My bad! Haha! – she said in a rather teasing tone.

Jie Shan grinned and gave a little shrug. "Oh, come now," he began, "The Super Saiyan state isn't thatamazing. Though I suppose for the average Saiyan, it really must be. Legends and all that tend to make things larger than life."
He listened as she went on about her little fan club, her apparent gaggle of suitors who made it up. Jie Shan listened in amusement. It certainly reminded him of the attention he'd gotten since his arena match... Not that he had gone through with much of it. Affections such as those were fleeting, he thought, best if he only enjoyed them a little, lest they disappear before long and he miss them. For Kinoko, though, it seemed that there was no end in sight for her fans. "Heh," he chuckled, "Sounds like you have your own army. If only the Overseer himself was half as... charming, the Saiyan Alliance would be unstoppable. But he's not, so it seems we'll have to gather our strength the old fashioned way. A pity, really, because your way would be so much easier, it might make our jobs a bit easier."
Kinoko suggested a drink, a suggestion that immediately made his ears perk up. Yes, he thought, that was a very good idea. He quite liked his drinks, perhaps overly much. He was a social drinker, in truth. Rarely did he touch the stuff if he was alone, but when he was with friends, getting deep into a bottle was a proposition too good to give up...
"That would be lovely, Kinoko. Do you have any bars in mind, or...?" He began to ask, but the mood changed. Suddenly, the air grew more heavy and his companion grew serious. Well, he thought, this could be bad. Jie Shan listened with interest as the Saiyaness explained herself. About how she had meant to report it earlier. Well, thought Jie Shan, if it was really important, she would have. Perhaps it really would not be so bad after all...
A Brenchian, he thought, how interesting. And one that claimed to be a part of a team that was being put together by the Overseer and the Counsilors... Surprising, he thought, considering how the Saiyan Alliance did not typically care for those of alien birth or not of Saiyan blood. Though, he supposed that anything was possible. He himself was working on a similar squad... But this did not sit well with him. If the Brenchian was trying to recruit Kinoko, she might be trying to recruit others. And he did not quite like the idea of somebody poaching potential fighters out from under the Alliance and himself. Perhaps Jie Shan was jealous, jealous that somebody else was forming a team. He thought he was being clever in his own formation of such a squad.
"I see, well, I'll be sure to look into this-" He began, but was soon cut off by harsh laughter that came from behind him. Great, he thought, just who was interrupting them now? He cast a look over his shoulder, and soon it was obvious: Fennle, the Saiyaness. Jie Shan had heard the name before, but paid her little mind. Rarely did their paths cross. Jie Shan rolled his eyes, and a small sigh escaped his lips. Just when he was starting to enjoy himself, someone else had to ruin it for him. Typical, he thought, and entirely expected. He should have known better than to try and enjoy himself; The great cosmic forces of the universe were likely to be swift to punish him for daring to enjoy himself.
Jie Shan smirked as she went on to comment on his rank. Perhaps he was not the only one who felt jealousy these days... She did have a point, however. The halfblood warrior had advanced quickly. Very quickly, in fact. In a few short months, he'd risen from Private, all the way to the position of Lieutenant Colonel, as well as being made a Councilor of the Saiyan Alliance. Quite the rise to power, if he did say so himself. He'd been in the right places at the right time, supporting the Overseer when he'd come home to take the title from his Uncle Etorin. That had made him Captain, and ingratiated him to the Overseer. And it was his arena match and victory over Komatsu that had allowed him to rise even further.
Jie Shan stopped and looked at Fennle. She was not bad looking, better than most, perhaps not as good as some he knew. No wonder the Overseer keeps her around, he thought. Jie Shan gave the woman a smile, one that did not reach his eyes. "Ah, fancy meeting you here, Captain. It is just 'Captain', right? I remember those days well... Seems like such a long time ago."
His smile turned to a smirk. "It almost sounds like you're jealous of me. Yes, I did skip ranks. But when you're as good as I am, that just sort of happens. The Overseer recognized that. Maybe one day, you'll catch up."
He shook his head. "But that's enough about me, though I admit that's my favorite subject," he continued, "Tell me, Captain, what brings you out to this way and into my hair?"
As if for emphasis, Jie Shan dragged a hand through his fine silver hair, hair that could turn gold at a moment's notice. He stared at her, waiting for her response. He was amused, and almost surprised at himself. He certainly sounded like an asshole, he realized. And he did not quite like his own tone, but damn, he had not liked her's, and he wanted to bite back.

When Jie Shan said he would look into the matter, Kinoko jsut gave a faint nod before she was about to push her smile back up to her lips. However, her face remained serious for a moment longer as she heard mocking laughter from nearby. She would turn her attention from Jis shan to find the source. Her eyes landed on a rather pretty looking saiyaness who seemed to mock her story. Sure it sounded ridiculous, Kinoko realized that, but she had a bad feeling about her encounter with Murdra, and so she had to cover her ass... although this woman... she seriously irritated the younger saiyaness.
Kinoko's tail would flick angrily behind her once, her arm looped around Jie Shan's tightening slightly before loosening up once more.
"Maybe you should keep your nose out of conversations you aren't a part of. I know very well how ridiculous it sounds, and that's why I'm reporting it." Kinoko would state with a huff as she moved her arm away from Jie Shan, instead chosing to place her hands on her hips, leaning on her right leg as she looked the woman up and down.
She didn't manage to say more then that, as Jie Shan began to speak to her, returning her mocking tone in kind, causing Kinoko to raise an eyebrow and smirk. Well well! He was turning out to be much more fun than she originally thought he would be! He had some real bite in him~ She could get used to being around a man like him.
However, when he mentioned her rank was that of a Captain, she would inwardly groan at the prospect that this woman out ranked her. Of course it was no surprise, she was new to the Alliance and under probation, so she was the lowest of the low as it stood.

Fennle narrowed his eyes with Jie Shan’s smart mouth. She could read it right at the spot that he was going to be an even greater jerk than she was and she was right. – It wasn’t so long ago, Counselor! But maybe your memory isn’t right with all the punches you’ve been taking! – but the cocky tone had been diminished and her teasing expression became more neutral and then bitter when he brought up the jealousness to the table! What bothered her was that, indeed, she was jealous of him. The big breasted bitch spoke too, clearly ignoring the difference in their ranking; but Fennle wasn’t in a position to complain since she did the very same with Jie Shan, but she wouldn’t let it go without a proper answer.
– What your words, bitch! The boy here is protected by rank, but you? Provoke me and you will need to be sleeping with one eye open. – she said in a threatening tone. After that, she stared back at Jie Shan when he asked what brought her there. And her dark brown eyes went from him to Kinoko. – Nothing much. Just growing rusty to be here for so long, doing nothing… Then I considered kicking some noobie ass at the arena! – and her stare became a glare to Kinoko. – And couldn’t help but to wonder… Why haven’t our forces came back, Counselor? I believe I have enough clearance to know if things went south. – she said.

Kinoko freed her arm from his, and bit back at the woman. Well, he thought, he was glad to see that she had some fight to her. But the Captain did not seem to care what Kinoko had to say. Instead, he simply came right back at Jie Shan, talking about clearance, talking about their forces. And, to that, Jie Shan simply smirked and shrugged. He'd not give her what she wanted. If she wanted information, she could put in a formal request, in writing, like anyone else. And then, maybe just maybe, he would consider telling her. Or perhaps he would simply delete the request and move on with his day. He was quite busy after all.
"First, he began, his voice low and dangerous, "You would do well not to threaten those in my charge. Should you mess with them, you mess with me. And I'm more than capable of handling upstarts, Captain, I assure you of that. I don't think anyone, even the Overseer, would blame me for acting in defense of another."
"Hmm," he said, "Let me think about that, Captain." He made a great deal of mocking her, pretending to think. He stuck his tongue out and squinted his eyes, tapping his head for emphasis. "Well, Captain," he said suddenly, "After giving it some thought, I don't think this is the place to discuss such matters. If you want to know, go through official channels. Or contact the Overseer. I'm sure he'd tell you. After all, there mustb e some reason you're a captain. Whether it be skill or... Other reasons." He gave the woman a sly, mocking grin.
He waved his hand in the air, as if dismissing her. "Oh, and if you're looking for an arena match with a noobie... Might I remind you I've only had one match in the arena. Quite new, if I don't say so myself."
He looked at her, dropping the act. "What I'm saying is," he said, his voice plain, "If you're looking for a fight, I can give you one. Even if I am out of your league." He'd take no pleasure in beating on someone far weaker than him. But, as someone once told him: talk shit, get hit. That seemed entirely appropriate response to a Saiyan. And that was the language of fullbloods: trading blows like they were the only words in the world.

"Hmph, the weakest dogs usually bark the loudest~" Kinoko would muse as she stuck her tongue out at Fennle, hands still remaining on her hips. It was clear how irritated Kinoko was with the woman by the way her tail was flicking from one side to the other, instead of it's normal gentle and playful sway.
She was about to continue her taunt, when Jie Shan once more stepped up to her defense. So he would stand up for her against Fennle if it came to it? She was glad to know this, it comforted her to know that he actually cared about her enough to defend her. However, where would she be if she continued to use him as a shield? No doubt Fennle was strong, they wouldn't make just anyone a Captain... but so was she.
"Thank you, Councillor, but if she thinks she can take me down just because I'm new she's dead wrong~" She would say as she would look from Jie Shan back to Fennle. If her iris' weren't already black, they would have darkened just then due to the corruption coursing through her.
"Rank is just a title, captain, if the person behind it isn't worth giving my respect too, then why should I?" With that, Kinoko would cross her arms, her gaze no longer leaving Fennle's as she held her ground. What was this woman's problem anyways? What the hell had Kinoko done to her to piss her off? Well, before all of this mud slinging.

The saiyaness was growing more bitter with Jie Shan and she narrowed her eyes as she glared at him with her dark brown eyes. His veiled threat wasn’t going to be forgotten soon, but she wouldn’t say anything about that right now, and, instead, she just hmphed, almost as if she was ignoring the risk she could be taking by underestimating Jie Shan. Then, he denied sharing information, telling her to go through the normal procedures, and that made her frown a bit and stare at him, almost as if she wasn’t believing what he was saying. – Really? Our forces head out to war, and you are the jerk about it? Thought example would come from the higher ups, but seems I was mistaken after all. Hope the real leaders come back soon then. – she said in a slightly irritated, yet teasing tone.
After that, he offered to face her in the arena, claiming he was a newbie, and that made Fennle fold her arms and lean on her left leg, swaying her tail from one side to the other. But before she could say anything, Kinoko. Then, when she confronted Kinoko about the ranking and respect, the saiyaness couldn’t help but crack a judging grin and shake her head slightly and slowly. – That sentence was enough for me to tell that you are another one of those soldiers with no real experience. Arena is fun, girl, it is! But it’s nowhere close to the real thing! And that’s why I’m asking. – she paused, staring now at Jie Shan. – Last war I’ve been to, we came back one Overseer and three counselors short. – and with that sentence Fennle revealed that she was a veteran from the Alliance-Empire War.

Jie Shan shrugged. "When you learn to go through official channels, Captain, the information is readily available, you'll find," he said simply, "I would have thought an officer would be a little more professional about it, is all." Damn, he thought, he really sounded like an asshole. All that stuck up officer nonsense he'd spent the past few years hating, now he was parroting it. He'd need to wash his own mouth out with soap after this one, but he at least took comfort in the fact that he was not giving into someone else's demands. "I hope our leaders come back soon, too. It seems we have a discipline problem. I'd deal with it, but I'm busy helping to keep this planet afloat. Though, I don't think you'd get that."
Kinoko spoke up, talking about the person behind the rank. Well said, he thought, he tended to think that way as well. He did not like to think that he could be defined solely by rank and by title. He liked to think that he was still something of a man behind the brass. But the Captain did not like this. She simply shook her head and decried it.
She also talked about the last war. The Alliance-Empire war, he realized, he had not been a part of that. His father had, but Jie Shan himself had been spending that time as a mercenary, flying around the galaxy with his mother. He was glad for it. "I see," said Jie Shan, "Well, trust me, we all lost people in the war. It's a damn shame, the loss of our people's heroes. And the Overseer and the council were not the only people we lost. People lost friends, family, lovers."
He looked at her through narrowed eyes. "But believe me," he said suddenly, his voice serious, "If I have anything to say about it, I'll spare people that pain. Even if it costs me in my own blood."
He tilted his head and smirked, "If that's not good enough for you, Captain, I don't know what is."

"You know, if you hadn't been a bitch off the bat I think, but i'm not sure, he might have just told you what you wanted to know" She would say with a roll of her eyes and a snicker. She was quite enjoying the fact that she was able to bite back and express herself against this woman. She enjoyed being able to lash out against someone finally, it was why she enjoyed fighting in the arena so much. While she never showed her true strength, it was a good outlet for her, able to vent her frustrations and anger out on the other combatants. The corrupted water's effects were becoming easier and easier to deal with, but the cruelty she felt in her heart needed some way to be expressed.
Whenever Fennle spoke about the Alliance-Empire war though, Kinoko began to chose her words much more carefully. Hell, she hadn't even been born during the war yet, so she had no idea the true impact it had on either the Alliance or the Empire. She knew all about it as it had been part of the information given to her while she was in incubation, but she never did in fact fight in it, or any other war. Hell, even the claim to her master's throne was a war she didn't partake in.
"I never claimed I was experienced outside the arena. I really hope that a real battle is different then that, because it's getting really tiring to hold back~" She would say in a much more relaxed tone, as Fennle seemed to be relaxing a little bit more now as well, and not attacking either Jie Shan or herself too badly.
"I bet whatever is going on on Earth is already dealt with, and the Overseer and the others are just taking a bit of a break to relax or something. overseer Nasu was ridiculously powerful before they left, I don't think anyone has power that could match him" She would say casually, almost as if she was trying to reassure Fennle that things on Earth were going smoothly, and she didn't have to worry about them. Although, by the sounds of her tone, she was rather close to Nasu... she began wondering just what their relationship was.

Fennle didn’t even bother to answer to Jie Shan’s response regarding discipline and what an officer should do. In fact, Fennle was more of a warrior and a squad leader than a bureaucrat and she didn’t have any appreciation for all those stupid rules; she liked to fight and make sure her underlings and her comrades would come back home with their lives. When he spoke about the other people who died in the war, she nodded. – I was the sole survivor of my squad. I saw General Totoma and the twins dying in front of me… I saw Major Cornatto and Colonel Karota getting wrecked by a freaking android, and I only survived because Nasu saved me, back when he was still a sergeant. – she said, revealing a little bit of her past and what kind of link she had with the Overseer; she owned him her life.
When Jie Shan finished speaking, she shrugged. – Maybe you are not so bad, rank hiker, but I still don’t trust you. – once she said that, she glared at Kinoko, mentioning her attitude and clearly Fennle didn’t like her tone, as her eyes became angry and cruel. Then, when she spoke about her lack of real experience, the saiyaness cracked a sarcastic grin on her face and chuckled a bit. Then, when she finally spoke about how powerful Nasu was and that she didn’t think anyone could match his strength that was when Fennle showed to be really deeply concerned.
– If I didn’t know him, I would agree with you. But he wants to be like his father way too much… And that’s dangerous. You didn’t know Natto. He was a beast, and, yet, died. Nasu is not as trusting, but he is arrogant and can be a fool when he is in control of the situation. And that’s when people die! – and she seemed to be annoyed by that possible scenario.
