The echo of a rip could be heard around the forest, scaring off any birds nesting in the nearby trees. Forming itself into a red colored portal that spit the form of a small child out of it, quickly closing behind it. This child was Daeva, she rather lost. Lazerus wasn't nearby.... nor was the blond sayian she was going to watch! The youngling looked around herself in a rather rapid fashion, Seeing nothing but unfamiliar trees everywhere she looked! Not good not good! Lazarus ran away... and she didn't trust that sayian ether... she was the guardian of this stupid dump! She had to get ahold of one of them! The girl flailed her arms as in frustration at her failure. The portal hadn't even come close to landing her near ether of her targets! In her frustration she rather comically fired a Mouth Blast (OT-1) into the skies above her, falling onto her back afterwards. Simply laying their she watched the blast disappear into the sky above her. The skies of earth were so much different than home! What was with all that blue anyway? It's wasn't water! It did contain the answers she wanted though. The blond sayian mother graced with her gift and her big bro were somewhere in its vast expand. She reached her hand out, as if their small grip could catch one of them in her hands.
"Where Are you two..? Stop being such killjoys and show yourselvesssss!"
The girl practically screamed, anyone nearby could likely tell her attitude was quickly turning into a tantrum with her frustration. They were supposed to be near her portal, it was no fair flying off across this dumb green and blue planet! What was she supposed to do hunt them down?! That was playing dirty! She just got here, she didn't even know where the food was! Grrr.... when she found the two of them they were gonna get it, right in the face! Jumping to her feet she brushed herself off in a rather careless fashion before looking at the path in front of her. Nothing but tons and tons of forest to mow through looking for a sayian and a demon. The blond wasn't here, she knew cause their would be way less forest. Lazy could be though, sitting against a tree or something.
Ugggh... sometimes she wished he was just a LITTLE more messy with his movements, least he'd be easier to find!

Fukurou Forest, thought Baalbatos, what a pleasant place for a walk. And that was exactly why he was out and about, making his way down the forest's various, worn paths. He'd taken to walking the forests, ever since he had met Galen, the new towerkeeper of the so called holy grounds. The forest meant for an excellent place to clear one's head, just as the Earthling had claimed. And, if his encounter with Galen was any indication, it was a decent enough place to meet interestings folks who could actually cull his boredeom for once.
And it seemed he had finally found something. Somewhere in the distance, life energy suddenly pinged against his mind and he heard the loud sound of ripping. How interesting, thought the demon. He ought to check it out. The demon changed his course, trudging through the forest, the weight of his weights making his footsteps heavy.
As he walked, suddenly a beam of energy pierced the sky, lighting up the world around him. Well, thought Baalbatos, perhaps this would be interesting after all. Even now, as he approached, he heard the being's desperate cry. Before long, he reached the place from which the energy was eminating, and he saw... a little girl? Baalbatos arched an eyebrow in confusion. How interesting indeed. This is certainly not what he'd been expecting. No not a child, not even one as powerful as this.
"Excuse me, miss," said the demon, "But I must ask: are you alright? The forest is not a kind place for a child."
Heavy footsteps brought the 'young' demon to attention, distracting her momentarily from her annoyed outburst. Soon enough the being was close enough for Daeva to get a good look at him. Mama wouldn't have sent someone after her. Or... to be more exact not so soon. Anything Daeva did could in no way worry her mother. Even if for some stupid She decided she wanted to harm the queen she was physically incapable of doing so. That was how mama made her children after all, loyal in every sense of the word. So all that really happened by her coming to earth was having an extra set of eyes looking around for the queen! An extra set of eyes to retrieve what shouldn't be here right now to! ONE day Laz decides to be productive and its hopping right out of the Demon realm! Well... she could take her time She supposed though, Laz was bound by the same rules as her after all. Besides why would he betray mama anyway? The idea was just silly! He was probaly just trying to get out of work, just like usual!
Getting within a few feet of her caused Daeva to instinctively reach out with her KI sense, the return giving her minor headache their after. She wasn't worried though. Whoever it was way stronger than her, but was also not even half as strong as mother. In other words they could kill her, but mom could flick him away with a quick one two smack! Soon enough the whole he might be an assassin thing seemed to desolve when She realized he was simply standing their asking her something, not making even the slightest effort to mar her form. The question was rude though, she wasn't a child! Mama made her like this and that made her a perfect demon-Just like Vulpeca and Laz! How dare he call her a child! She was plenty old enough, the jerk!
"I'm not a child, I was made twenty eight years ago dummy! ..... I'm fine, I'm looking for two people is all! Not that you'd know anything about thaaat I'm sure! This forest dosnt scare me anyway, your the strongest thing I can feel in it right now silly!"
Daeva did mean well, even if she was being rude to the Demon checking up on her. He was rude first, it was only natural she was rude back cause he deserved it!
Baalbatos smirked. Twenty eights years old... That was still young, at least in his mind. Baalbatos himself was ninety seven, going on ninety eight, and he was still young. No, he thought, this girl was a child indeed. "My dear," he began, "Believe me when I say that twenty eight is still quite young. You've a long ways to go before you can call yourself an adult."
And, he thought, she certainly looked young. Very young. He supposed that that did not matter, looks were ever changing in this world. Baalbatos himself could even change his appearance with a little magic. Though, he had to wonder, why did the girl choose to appear as a child? Especially if she did not like being called one. But the demon shrugged it off. It was none of his business.
"Indeed, girl," said the older demon, "I am the strongest thing in this forest right now. You ought to be glad that's the case. Another man or beast might not hesitate to attack you or strike you down. Earth can be a dangerous place."
He offered the girl a small smile, one that did not reach his eyes. "So," he continued, "What brings you out to this neck of the woods?"
Daeva huffed at the demon's words. What did he know? She was made by mother, and that made her as grown as she needed to be! She was made in her vision... and that made her perfect in everyway! All that was left was to get stronger. Mama coudn't create power in her early days, it was why the others like Vulpeca And Kinoko were so much stronger than her. They were Mama's very best, the cream of the crop. All that skill in creation...., they were the result, but Daeva was the beginning-her and the others. Piece by piece the flaws were corrected until she got the result, Vulpeca and crew! But that didn't make her useless-nope she refused to believe that! All she lacked was the power to make mother's dreams come true, once she had that nothing could stop her! She'd have everything she ever needed.
"I'm as old as I need to be! Mama made me this way.... I don't need.more years! Power maybe.... but age is just a stupid number!"
Daeva just kind if skimmed over what the demon said next, it just seemed like more of the usual demon pride talk, just in gentle form. She didn't really care what he had to say. He was strong though... not as strong as mother but still very strong. She supposed She should at least answer him. Whenever she used to ignore her siblings it USUALLY didn't turn out well, this guy though didn't have the whole 'can't kill Daeva' restriction Though so she probably should risk missing him off much. Though... that really didn't make him anymore exciting.
"I'm trailing one of my siblings for mother, and a saiyan I'd trust as far as I could chunk... nether seem to be in the forest though"
She responded rather casually. After all she had no guarantee this man was loyal to mother. She wasn't about to go spilling her guts to some strange demon on a strange world. Besides, if he was of any import mother would have told her to begin with.
"Not that it matters much or anything, but why are you here? Just to see little old me?"

Had he upset the girl? The way that she huffed and puffed at his words made him think as if he had struck a nerve. Well, he thought, he certainly was not wrong, at least not in his mind. The girl was a child still. Even her speech reminded him of a child... 'Mama'. How positively adorable. Even more so was that the girl sought power. The girl reminded him of himself when he was younger. Power, he thought, that was something that all beings desired, whether they admitted it or not. "Power?" Asked Baalbatos, "Aren't we all seeking power, child?"
The girl spoke of her goal. She was seeking one of her siblings? How quaint, thought Baalbatos. A lost girl searching for a lost sibling. That could only end well. She also spoke of a Saiyan being involved, and Baalbatos arched an eyebrow in interest? A Saiyan? Well, he thought, surprise, surprise.This was monkey business, wasn't it? It did not surprise him. The Saiyans involved themselves in everything these days.
"Ah, I see," muttered Baalbatos, "I wish you luck in finding them, then. Though this planet is rather vast, so finding them might prove a little on the more difficult side."
The demon offered a small smile. "What am I doing here?" He asked, "Why, that's my business. And I don't oft go about revealing it to strangers. Perhaps a lesson you should learn, my dear."
No, he thought, he did not. He was secretive at times, paranoid at others. Strangers were not to be trusted. But her? She was, in his eyes, a little girl. Surely it could not hurt to reveal, if only to make conversation.
"But if you truly wish to know," continued Baalbatos, "I will tell you: I was simply out for a walk is all. Minding my own business when I felt your presence. It's not so often I stray upon such energy during my walks, so I thought it best to seek you out. But I did not expect to meet a child, no, never a child."
Baalbatos laughed to himself. No, she'd been the least of his expectations. But it was an interesting encounter nontheless. He almost enjoyed poking at her, teasing the girl for her age, especially if it were true that she did not care to be called a child. It was certainly vastly more amusing than his walks.
A glare was the reply Baal got for his answer. He was right of course, most anyone desired to get stronger. But it still felt a bit annoying to keep getting corrected. She knew what she was talking about! She just... didn't always choose the proper word. Still that didn't matter cause she was perfect, mother said so herself! Her genetic make up, her apprence, her potential... everything was perfect except for her current power and that was something only she could correct! It was a sad thing that she had to gain power in order to fix the universe. Unfournatly it was also an inescapable truth. If they wearnt strong for mother they couldn't seek out her Vision and that was a big no no. It was ALSO a big no no to run away, and to use mother! Laz ran away for weird reasons and she would drag the lazy bum back kicking and screaming if she had to. The saiyan girl Atsuko was a person who didn't deserve mother's gift or in anyway her trust! She knew her mother was no fool... we likely had a backup plan if something happened with her corrupted subject but... she had to make sure, that's why she was here! If she had to... she'd bring about Kamis death, One way or another. She didn't voice these thoughts however.
"Power is a common goal yes, But it's still something I need for my purpose"
The older demon would then go on about the planet's vastness, being sure to note how long it would likely take her to find her targets to begin with. She knew that! It was all in her programming! Well, the basics anyway. She knew earth was a big place. But she wasn't worried about finding Laz, they were all connected through Nakiya-it was only a matter of time before she sensed that familiar bond nearby. Still at least Baal had the decency to wish her luck. He wasn't ALL annoying ramble she supposed. He was a very interesting guy when she thought about it... with quite the pool of power to back it up, gave her the beginnings of a headache just to sense it.
"Thanks I guess, my only issue should be the saiyan though what with her position and stuff. Eh, it's not like I'm supposed to kill her anyway, info's just as effective ya know!"
It didn't take long for her opinion of her fellow demon to sour once more however, What with his rude attitude and all! Geez he could have just said no or something! Didn't need to be so blunt and ugggh aggregating! Though even as he spoke of his privacy he chose to enlighten her to his most unexciting evening anyway. Walking, that was all he had been doing all day. Walking around this forest. No fighting no information gathering not even talking to others! All he had done according to his explanation was just walk about like some kind of monk before sensing his energy. For a demon... this guy was not at all exciting. No just annoying because HE WOUDNT STOP CALLING HER A CHILD!
"For the last time I'm not a child! Normal being grow and develop, mature over time, I don't have to do that! I was created by mother and made with EVERYTHING I needed to fulfill my purpose! I don't need age cause theirs nothing of meaning to go with it aside from getting stronger, so I'm not a child, I was made as I was supposed to be! That's all that matters!"
God he was annoying, were all the demons outside mother's rule like this? Least they wearn't such wods of.... know it all jerkyness!
