Almost immediately after Flare hit the ground Vaneera made her way over to the childish brench. Having expected to get in trouble for helping cause pain she was greatly surprised when Van instead pulled her into a hug. The girl young would blink briefly, a bit stunned by the action before returning the hug with one of her own. That's how hugs worked after all! That feeling.... the one that kept coming up when Van did these nice things to her, and Motet in turn tried to do for her. Motet wasn't sure what it was exactly but she knew she liked it better than the other ones that had begun to stir inside her. This feeling she hoped stayed when the others went away with time. It made her feel much better then they did. She was still sad of course, but the feeling helped. It stopped the other ones from overwhelming her she supposed. Her words made her feel so happy! She was glad she hadn't let Vaneera down with her attack. Now she would only have to explain what she did to Shizen, she hoped it didn't make her mad!
After a deep breath her leader and friend would break off their hug, to which Motet would give a light pout, having assumed the feeling was connected solely to her friends touch and niceness. It was her assumption that without the touch the nice feeling would go away after awhile. Well Vaneera did have jobs besides making her happy of course! She would just have to enjoy it while it was there! Motet would follow Vaneera as she made her way back to Flare. She would remain silent as Vaneera spoke her mind. It was a bit harsh but with the things Motet learned today she coudn't help but agree. Flare had endangered everyone today. Motet had to admit that they both had yesterday as well. She had thought everything was a game and she just... she hadn't wanted to lose Shizen. But nothing she had done made a difference in the end. She had been every bit as reckless as Flare in that regard. Everyone was at risk because of what they had done. Vaneera.... didn't seem to want to tell her that but her actions were similar to Flare's. If she messed up chances were Motet had to. She raised and broke her trident against the God called Caesar. She was to blame as well, something she was reminded when Van mentioned the chance of losing her. Had Motet died yesterday it would have hurt Vaneera.... the thought made the bad feelings, regret and sadness well up inside her considerably. When Vaneera looked her way again She could tell she was still upset, though the smile made her feel.... somewhat at ease. As tend the white brench's hands on her shoulders. Despite her misgivings she would give a weak smile of her own.
"I'm fine Van.... I'll try not to be so reckless next time to.. I didn't know what could happen"
After the two were done speaking to each other Motet would listen as Chris and Van conversed with each other. Though she didn't give a response herself the thought that Shizen woudn't have to feel pain or death did make her feel better, and maintained the light smile on her face. She still wanted to take her back from Caesar or Jarvis or whatever but.... she felt good knowing she would at least be ok. When they were done, before they had a chance to leave she heard the voice of Flare, void of it's earlier rage. It was like real fire in a way, once you put out the fire... all that was left was the ashes. Motet could not help but stop and look back at her with a concerned expression. First the flame spoke to Vaneera, trying to reach and grab at her legs, then she would speak to Motet herself. Her words madethe sadness and regret rise once more. Despite what Chris said. Despite what she understood of it making since she just... she couldn't. The childish brench would turn to face Vaneera, her face clear with worry for the flame below. Again she would take one of Van's hands in her own, attempting to get the good feeling to sooth her bad ones, but only being met with partial success. She would look into her friend's eyes and shake her head.
The Fire Elemi had tried grabbing hold of Vaneera's leg, but the White Brenchian moved a little faster in that regard; she was too concerned about Motet at that immediate moment... But the words that Flare had to say weren't lost on the future Viceroy. It seemed that she had come back to her senses, whatever that transformation was... Vaneera wasn't even sure what to liken it to, it wasn't entirely unlike some of the stories she heard about Super Saiyans. The pure rage that it gave them, the unforgiving rage that all of them were tainted with during the first time.
Again, that was what the stories said... Vaneera didn't have a doubt in her mind that if Chris wasn't here, she'd be the one lying broken on the floor, instead of Flare being brought back to her senses; and that was being rather generous about the situation. Flare would have been able to kill the White Brenchian back there. The future Viceroy would remain silent for now, allowing the Elemi to let out her actual feelings, the ones not clouded by that sheer anger. Afterwards, Chris and Motet would give their own assessments of the situation. The young man was still rather harsh on her.
Motet would point out that they couldn't just leave Flare here... Vaneera would let out another sigh. It would have been easier to do that, at least from a tactical point of view. The psychological state of the Fire Elemi was nothing short of endangering to everyone around her, but she couldn't deny how strong Flare was, and it wasn't like she couldn't sympathize with the woman. Vaneera would just give a nod, and turn her gaze to Flare once more. "...You seem to have control of yourself again. Mostly.", Vaneera would begin.
"The truth of the matter is, I want Shizen back too. There's a few things she's done that I don't entirely agree with... But I'm not going to abandon her either.", the future Viceroy continued. "Help would definitely be appreciated in finding her, too... But if we're going to work together, we have to be very careful about this; Caesar has already proven that he doesn't care about playing dirty, and he has all the power to stomp us out, even combined.", Vaneera elaborated. It was something they all already knew, but she wanted to reiterate it because she didn't trust Flare.
"We need time, and we need to train. We also need a plan, because if we go after him and we fail, it means that Shizen's first effort was for nothing, she'll have to see us get beaten down again... Or much, much worse. Do you understand, Flare? We can't afford heroics, we can't afford outbursts like back in the Park or the Hospital. We need as much control as we can muster up. Right now, he has all the leverage.", the White Brenchian finished her assessment... But now it was time to point out why she was saying all of this.
"I still don't trust you... You could have killed me with that attack. I don't entirely doubt that in your emotional state that you wouldn't have tried to finish the job, either. But I'm willing to work with you. We'll get Shizen back and... If things go well enough, we'll discuss anything beyond that.", Vaneera added. For the moment, she wasn't going back on what she said earlier, about the offer she made for Flare to come into the employment of the future Viceroy being off the table now. But maybe if the Fire Elemi conducted herself well enough...
Well, it was just too early to say. "For now, get your things together, recover a little. I understand why you're upset right now, but you'll need to be calm and collected for the future endeavors, alright?", the future Viceroy stated. With that out of the way, she'd turn her attention to Chris once more, it was time to address his questions. "Well, I'll start with what originally brought me there, I found a woman that was very sick in the park. Soon after Motet showed up, then Flare and Shizen.", she explained, sounding rather calmed down by this point.
"We were trying to figure out how to help her, and then she transformed into this... Monstrous form, it was almost like Saiyans when they're under the light of the full moon, she had no control over her actions. But that thing, it was still sentient. It just wasn't Rinako. About then was when we were contacted by this mysterious voice, offering us the power to defeat it and protect the City.", Vaneera explained. "I refused it, and I was able to convince Motet to do the same... But I think they may have gotten to Shizen somehow."
She continued. Anything regarding Shizen and that strange voice was just pure guesswork, but it wasn't an unreasonable assumption either. "Caesar mentally contacted us soon after. Flare began to... Aggravate him. Which convinced the 'God King' to show his face on the battlefield. After that it steadily got out of hand. He took us all out with a single attack, Rinako returned to her human form and burned his face, only to die in the process... After that, Shizen helped Caesar with his injury, and did nothing while he choked me out. I can only guess she's gone with him now."
Vaneera finished her recollection of the events. "I have no idea where they are now... And no idea where to begin, but we weren't in that park when we woke up. We were here in this Hospital. I hope that helps answer your questions.", with that, she'd turn her attention to Motet once more. "Well... I think that's everything, I hope I handled everything the right way.", she'd comment to her friend. Taking up the help of Flare, or rather helping out the Fire Elemi a little, and then answering all of the young man's questions to the best of her ability...
Maybe now they could start moving on from the past.
… Chris had tried to give her a piece of his mind. Honestly, she could care less if someone gave her any “respect”. Hell, the kid seemed to be entitled enough to imply he has went through more than her. If she wasn’t so out of it, she would maybe get riled up again from just suggesting that. In a time where she felt so many mixed emotions about everything, this saiyan boy was just making it worse really. What is to be expected from a kid who felt like he has trained since he got out of the womb?
“Hey, Chris. No need to spill your life story there…” Flare lifted her head from her arms, her hair and whatever was left of the minimal makeup she wore smeared on her face from the crying and contact with her arms. Not that she cared, either, about that. She finally was able to open her eyes, the effect of that blinding light having settled after the minute of sobbing. “And… no offence to you, but that whole ‘become a hermit and find yourself’ thing... both cliche and not worth… my time.” At least the two brenchians were a little less harsh with their words. Mainly, Vaneera trying to explain what they would have to do in order for this to work. She didn’t really trust such an elemi who spontaneously burst out in anger like that. It was actually understandable. The young flame wouldn’t exactly say she liked being too close to Saiyans on a full moon..
“You damn well know I can… control myself. I’ve done a good job of it for years.” Since it seemed like they weren’t just gonna up and leave her now, the elemi tried raising herself up, falling short at the legs and just finding herself sitting down in a slump. There was so much she had to make up for before she even started training… Like, probably donate to the hospital. Make amends with Auntie... What a day. “I just… That… was new… Again. I’m sorry.” Flare cried still, quietened by the conversation and the fact that it seemed to two who could help her would. Even with that she pitifully smiled in her tears.
“I don’t think you understand… my anger though, Vaneera. Fully.” The elemi cleared her throat in a seriously audible manner. It would turn out that this smile she gave was a faux one; She started laughing rather sadly at herself. “If you understood what I went through… maybe… That… prick.” She a free hand through her hair, passing it by her face. It kinda smeared the makeup more as she did that. “Not only did he… cut me down, humiliate me in front of my Shizen and my Jax, took one and must have blasted the other. Before all that, he…” The laugh she had done to stop herself from crying didn’t help as she let out another burst of tears. She tried hard to wipe them away and hide it, but it was for naught. It'd take another several moments for her crying session to finally hush up enough for her to continue. Flare wiped even more of those tears away.
“Jarvis flashed images in my head… Maybe hers, too. They were visual suggestions, mental sensations. Disturbing images of him and Shizen… The pig… His grubby hands are probably all up on Shizen.” They were, in good terms, kids. All three that were around that bit of age. Maybe they already knew the stuff, maybe they didn’t. This was mostly for Motet. She stopped for a moment and just looked between them before elaborating. “Hrm… Me and Shizen were… heavily intimate... And now that prick’s forcing Shizen to do the same stuff we did. Ya get what I mean?” The young flame would leave it at that and still wipe at her face. “I understand why… you wouldn’t trust me, but I’ll promise you this. Jarvis isn’t getting away with this, no. I’ll dedicate my life to destroying him… I’m not limiting that to be physical punishment either. He hurt me in every sense… Hurt me enough to make me wanna hurt you, eh?” She was still trying to find some way to just… cope and deal with it, but the tears still slowly came out.
“R-right… I need to rest a bit… Talk to Auntie as I shouldn’t have yelled at her like that… F-fuck, I’m such an idiot.” She would try to get up fully again, succeeding after another shaky attempt. She wasn’t going to be doing any physical work, but it seemed she might have energy enough to just make her way home by herself. “Shizen, nor I for that matter, aren’t adjusted enough for stuff like that. She… she just screamed when she got the voices in her head. It was heartbreaking, but I couldn’t quite tell if she took any other dumb deal in the wake… Jarvis is enough, if she has something else going on with her...” The young fame sniffled as she leaned her body up against a nearby tree. The fires from her hair was just not strong enough to lit it aflame. She still looked disheartened, but the tears have slowed their passage down her cheeks.
“As I said… she doesn’t deserve any of this. I… t-take blame. All of it, even though I know I couldn’t be the only one who caused it all. I-I’m the reason she’s going through all she is right now.” She meant it all. Not being strong enough, acting all bad and tough in the wake of trying to stand up for the group, her loud mouth and fiery personality. They all in some way made this all happen. She just had to take time and admit it, and that wasn’t easy. “And Jax… He can be remade. That is not my main concern at all. At least I have my legs.” Seeing past it now, she couldn’t even blame the bot that risked his life to save hers. “If it wasn’t for him, I might be down the river without a paddle. Or a boat.” Finally she seemed to have recuperated enough to stand on her own.
“So, I’ll… just… take a rest. Capsulize my stuff. Yeah… Yeah, we can use a lot of my stuff for this.” Flare took the moment sniffle, her tears finally halted as she took the time to properly compose herself. “If… you don’t feel comfortable accommodating me either, Vaneera, that’s fine. You should know I have a bit of money to throw around… And you know where to come get me at too.”
It was at least something. She had to get through this one step at a time.
Chris would listen as the two spoke to Flare before saying something himself in response to Vaneera saying how help would greatly be appreciated in getting back Shizen. He honestly would love to have helped as well, but the path he had to follow soon, would be a much darker one, one he would need to take care of alone. The problem still resting though that he had no way to know exactly who was messing with everyone, he knew the demon queen had a big part in all of this and that someone was going around placing these marks on people.
As Van began to explain what began to happen at the park something she did say did spike his interest widely. Especially the part of how it might have gotten Shizen. As well as the offer of power sounded way to familiar. "Wait..did you notice anything different about Shzien, a new marking appearing on them anywhere? If you did...I think I know the one who might have changed your friend. The Demon Queen has an ally, who can place marks upon people as it corrupt their very being, changing them, giving them power, but still corrupting their thoughts. If this is the same person, I've only seen one person break out of the mark before, it took a massive amount of strength. If the same is for Shizen, the only way I know of for her to break free of it would be to grow massively in strength..." Chris would say with a slight distaste held in his mouth for the situation that was happening. He really hated the constant interference from the Demon Queen in these worldly affairs.
Still he listened to more of her story of how Flare began to aggravate the God. Which in his personal belief was a very very stupid move to make, especially against someone who was quite the bit stronger than one's self. Flare would even say that although she took the blame she couldn't be the one to blame for it all. "Just gonna say, Caeser probably would have never even attacked you guys if you hadn't started mocking him, in a way sorry to be harsh here, and as nice as it is for you to take the blame, this one really is all on you. Sorry to say that." Chris would say simply before turning back towards the rest of them.
"I would gladly help you all as well look for Shizen, but..I'm afraid I cant. I have someone else who was stolen from me that I need to find. I just hope that when I do find them, I can bring them back home. Maybe we will all cross paths again but for now, I got to go. If you ever need help for a moment though, feel free to flare up your ki in four rapid successions. That way I can find you guys anywhere within this galaxy. Take care, and good luck on your guy's training." Chris would say as he began to fly back up, but not before saying one last thing to Van. "Oh yeah almost forgot, but Van, I've been to the afterlife before, if your friend is determined enough, you might see them soon again." Chris would say with a smile before fully flying off.
Motet would stand beside her friend as she spoke to the fire elemi. Her words were befitting of the leader she was to become, at least they were to the childish brench. She still didn't understanding everything of course. Some concepts were still new to her, others she didn't know well because she was just a soldier. As Vaneera so well put it... Motet had made so many mistakes in her life. So many things she was just now learning of. She hurt soooo many people. She had no right to criticise Flare as Vaneera did. She was the only one of them that didn't make these stupid mistakes, she knew how to lead them away from it. Vaneera could talk to others in the way they needed to. Motet needed to learn to as well, she had to learn a lot if she was to make a good second in command for Van. She had every intention of getting better to, stronger. Strong enough to fix the dumb mistakes she had made. Strong enough to save Shizen and most of all strong enough to be the leader Van needed. Once Van finished Motet would face Flare herself. Though she had no room to talk she was a bit annoyed with the elemi to. Not just flare, but herself as well. Still this was not the time for arguments.
"We'll get Shizen back.... together, promise!"
Motet would offer the flame a firm nod and smile, confident that in time that was exactly what they would do. She had no intention of abandoning her first friend to that letrus jerk. Afterwards she would turn around to face Vaneera once more. She would listen as she recalled the events of technology previous night, both things Motet and didn't know. The reminder of technology events caused Motet to drop her head in mild depression. To her it was a reminder of all the was she failed to do last night. She knew that wasn't the future viceroy's intent if course but it wasn't really a fact she could simply toss aside ether. Motet would take one thing Chris said to heart however. Their was a darkness inside Shizen, one that could only be broken by her own power. Motet would remember that. Their was more than one way Shizen had to be freed.... she wanted to help all her friends, she WOULD help both her friends. She would free Shizen and bring Vaneera to her rightful place. That was what she promised and that was how it was going to be!
Once Chris left their attention would likely be turned to Flare, and how to handle her. Already they had resolved to work together with some limitation but.... whether or not o accommodate her? She had a place to live it seemed, as well as all the money she needed to support herself. According to the fiery girl Vaneera even knew where she lived. She didn't mind ether way but it also wasn't her choice to make. She wasn't entering keen on what could happen if they left the angry Flare alone but... it wasn't her choice and maybe her family was a more good one than her own, without all the apprant trickery she learned of here recently.
"Van... I trust you to. I follow you so.... I trust your choice, what do ya wanna do?"
Vaneera would narrow her eyes at Chris as he suggested that it was all on them. "I will admit that I did my fair share of mocking him, but that was only when it became clear that he was already attacking us, and after he took the life of Rinako... It happened just as I told you, Flare angered him enough to show his face, and then it escalated out of control from that point on.", the future Viceroy would reaffirm her story, the way she said it... It was clear that she didn't like the implications that the young man gave off.
It was more of a warning to not say something like that again. But she would let the matter rest as he pointed out that he had to leave for now. The future Viceroy would just give a light nod in response... Although, his final words before departing gave her pause. He came back from the Afterlife? Even more than that, it was possible for Rinako to do the same... Vaneera had never heard of something like that happening before, and she struggled to comprehend if that was really the truth, but then again he seemed to know who that 'God King' was.
It wasn't unlikely that Caesar would have killed him, but he was alive and well here... The White Brenchian would think that over silently. "So Rinako can come back, huh... I don't think we should make a habit out of relying on such things, but if that is the case, I don't think we need to view death as bad for us. We all have enough determination to come back.", the future Viceroy would finally state. But that particular part of the conversation was over now, Flare suggested that Vaneera didn't understand her anger fully.
The White Brenchian would arch a brow, but hear her out... Then, she'd just shake her head. "He flooded my head with the same images, of doing such things to me... To Motet as well. Don't suggest that I don't understand your anger, I do. But I know that there is a time and a place to use that, even then, to give in to it as brazenly as you did was dangerous. You could have killed me, and then Motet would have been caught up in that mess. There's no telling just how much damage would have been done in the process, too."
Vaneera would give her response. "You seem to regret it now... And I understand wanting to put reasons to it, and I can understand those reasons as well. But it still doesn't excuse what you almost did, maybe you don't put much stock in what Chris had to say, but I think on some level he was right. You need to spend some to meditate, not just because it's a "spiritual thing", but because it will help you find your emotional center. If we're going to rescue Shizen... This can't happen again. Are we clear on that?"
The White Brenchian would let that hang in the air for a moment, but then she'd address the next part of what Flare had said. "As far as accommodating you... I wouldn't mind. I make my residence in Mount Paozu. However I'll be spending most of my time training, I'm still working out my Martial Arts... Which I'm then going to teach to Motet.", she motioned to the friend standing at her side. "{color=lightblue]After that... We're going through with the plan to take control of the Planet Trade Organization. It will grant us a vast amount of resources and an army.[/color]"
The future Viceroy stated. "All of which can be used to get Shizen back somehow, it will give us more time to prepare as well. As much as I would like to go and rescue her as soon as possible, that 'God King' is too powerful for us, even if we fight together.", with that out of the way, she'd then turn her attention to Motet. She smiled lightly at her saddened friend, she was thankful that Motet still trusted her, even after everything that happened... Right now, she really needed her allies to give her determination.
"Like I said, for now we're heading back to Mount Paozu. It's time that I show you the Training Dojo I purchased... It's state of the art, technology combined with what can be found here on Earth and in the Planet Trade Organization. Well worth the money, and it came fully stocked with training equipment, too. It can serve as our base, even if we travel to other worlds.", the White Brenchian explained with a bit of pride in her voice towards the end, she pulled out a capsule and held it up just enough to be seen clearly.
"All of that is in here... The Earthlings really are geniuses with their technology. I'll admit it's not the best type of home, but it is fully outfitted with everything we need to make due.", the future Viceroy added. With that, she'd glance over at Flare slightly. "Like I said as well... She can come if she wants. She seems to have a level head again, and I won't refuse her as long as she's reasonable.", after having said that, her gaze would return to Motet. "Ready to go back home? All of the excitement got the fatigue out of my system."
The white Brenchian admitted. That newfound power she was able to access was pretty amazing... She was able to keep it under control even while talking, too. But she was vaguely aware that she would need a LOT more before any of her friends would be safe again... At least, she had Motet to train with, that would help things. If Flare joined in, that would make up the difference in losing Shizen. The three of them could accomplish a lot. Although Vaneera did want to catch up to Flare's strength... If only because if another outburst happened...
She'd need it.
WC: 1,004 Total WC: 7,082 ________________ Think on my next post, I'll be leaving the thread. Seems pretty close to wrapped up!
The young brenchian girl went on to do similar to what Chris had done before. Tell Flare down, say she knows well enough what she is feeling, and act as if she was going to somewhat punish the fire elemi into not doing such things again. Did she really, truly understand? Flare doesn’t know too much about Elemi society or the works into their psyche, but she felt like Vaneera couldn’t understand how it made her feel. On a more internal level.
“The prick is too strong… Even when I was angered to a massive degree… a-and… did all THAT… I could tell I wasn’t on level with the guy.” And if the guy had armies, Flare wasn’t going to want to try and face him with so few people. She might be hard-headed, but she wasn’t going to commit prideful suicide in a vain attempt to assault Jarvis any time soon. “I know I was thinking on it before, Vaneera, but I will help you in your rebellious overthrowing of the PTO. It was what… Me and Shizen talked over the night before all this happened. I’m not going to spend my time meditating or the likes, not as long as I can just train myself hard.” Her own manor was built recently with the capability to grow in strength. Flare would know as much, but the others?... They talked of retreating to Mt. Paozu.
“Oh, Vaneera. You set up shop in those plains and mountainous environment? Bah…” She weakly smirked and started peeling off the strands of clothing that served nor further purpose other than being a distraction. “I could take you both into my manor… Could help teach my own Martial arts... I have a large garage I put my gravity chamber into… There’s loads of stuff you can put on the estate too, you could even place that dojo around back or something... So much room around the place. Not to mention, paid staff on grounds just about 24/7. Excluding staff, the whole thing can be packed in the same capsules you hold.” The young flame thought the aliens had better housing than that. Flare really hadn’t considered that until now.
“I used the gravity chamber back several months ago when my former master first had me in a pinch. It works like a charm. You wonder why I’ve gotten so strong Vaneera? That machine works wonders…” And she was willing to share it with the two. It was the least she could do with what she had caused. The VERY least. “That’s your choice though… If you… don’t trust me still with the offer, that is fine. I need some time either way. Just know I offered. I’m just… trying to help with what I can. My anger will fuel my determination and strive towards becoming stronger anyways. I think it might be easier with the two of you though.” Flare carefully eyed Motet too to make sure she knew she talked to her as well.
“It would help us all, really.” Off came the battered goggles she always had on her… the thing got caught in her hair but with a good tug came off. It was beyond repair so she tossed it as well. Never had she had to discard so much of a beat up outfit of hers. Her smile had since went to a plain yet saddened expression. “I would really like it if you could take up my offer.”
If only to keep her sanity. She felt like she fucked up too much.
This can be my last if Vaneera and Motet decide either for or against the idea of joining with Flare. ZENI for this mofo.
Motet was confused. She had just been told at the hospital that death was a permanent fixture, something she couldn't reverse. All the people she had hurt were gone for good. Chris said something different. He said that the fox girl could come back. She didn't hold much trust from the statement mainly because she held far more trust for Van than the departing saiyan. Still she held the idea close to her heart. If their was a chance she could fix the mistakes she had made... she would gladly take it. Vaneera did seem to take some stock in it after all, so it couldn't be completely bad. Still she had no intention of going anywhere outside of life any time soon!
"Yeah! But that's why we're getting strong.... won't have to worry about coming back, right?"
Motet would look towards Van with a light smile, seeking confirmation from her friend. They were gonna do it. Free the PTO free Shizen and beat up that jerk of a god! She would noticeably shiver however as Vaneera resumed her conversation with Flare, the beginning of which brought up a rather unpleasant memory for her. She hadn't understood everything Caesar had put in her head. But she knew it had made her feel really uncomfortable, uncomfortable and dirty. Her only reaction was rubbing her arm nervously, disliking recalling the memory.
As Flare declared her intention to assist in their endeavor against the PTO Vaneera would approve of the fiery one coming with them. However... while Vaneera desired to go back to the mountainous town, Flare offered to bring them to her mansion. It was not something Motet really felt comfortable with. Being in Flare's mansion meant being in town. Being in town meant being around the people that hated her... and their rocks. The people in that village in the mountains were among the earthlings she knew that didn't already dislike her! It felt nicer there, and was the place she would prefer to be out of the two regardless of which would make her stronger. Still she would go wherever Vaneera went in the end, she was her friend after all. Still the worry for Flare's suggestion was clear on her face, chances were Vaneera knew why to, making only one comment on the subject.
"I... I'm already learning from Van Van.... I can't really use fire..."
She didn't want to hurt the elemi's feelings after what she had been there but... she just didn't feel entirely happy in the city, not right now. Motet would eye the capsule in her friend's hand with a child like curiosity, looking up and down in surprise. Her entire training area was in the little capsule? That was amazing! She had to agree with van, their tech really was amazing! As Vaneera announced going back to their home on earth Motet would nod rather rapidly n acceptance. She was very ready, excited for their training to!
"Yes Van! I'm ready when you are!"
Though she assumed Van's words meant they were going back to the mountains Van had not actually responded to Flare's offer yet. Motet would remain at her friends. Whatever choice she made she would follow. It was her duty, she was Van's second after all.

The White Brenchian fell silent as Flare spoke once more about Caesar. It was true enough... Even with the monstrous power that the Fire Elemi had, she wasn't even close to the same level as him. He was in an entirely different league, but that was precisely why they couldn't afford to throw caution to the wind. Flare kept assuring that she wouldn't let it happen again, but Vaneera needed to see it; she wasn't able to control herself once. It would only take one more time for that to happen whenever he shows up again to throw it all in to jeopardy.
Surprisingly, Flare agreed to helping Vaneera in the overthrowing of the Planet Trade Organization. The White Brenchian thought it over for a moment. "Alright... However if that is the case, we'll be following the plans that I set. I want to keep the destruction and injuries down to a minimum. I'm not naive enough to think that all of them will go without a fight or will just quietly go into a new age, but I need to try. They need to have that chance at such a choice.", the Future Viceroy explained in a calm tone of voice.
"Don't discredit meditation. One needs a strong mind just as much as a strong body. You can't become truly strong without the other, you understand? It will take more than sheer strength to overcome your enemies... Maybe you won't agree with that easily, but you'll have the time to think on it.", Vaneera would then respond. Maybe the Fire Elemi really did see little use in it, but Vaneera knew better. Meditation was the basis for improving control over Ki, and on top of that, it could help one cope with their emotions, hasten their thinking on everything they've learned.
After that, she thought over what Flare had to say. So she had a manor, apparently fully staffed more than enough accommodations for all of them... However, truthfully she preferred something that she was more familiar with. The village she had been spending so much time in, as well as the Training Dojo... Both were elements that she knew inside and out, she had been to Flare's home before, but it was only for a brief visit... Still, apparently it had a Gravity Chamber now? She couldn't deny the uses that had for training, but it didn't have the equipment or settings necessary.
For her Martial Arts, that is. Flare even offered to teach her own Martial Arts. Vaneera thought it over for a little while. "It's a tempting offer. I can't deny what a Gravity Chamber can do for training... However, no matter how advanced it is, I know it doesn't have the equipment or settings I would need in order to advance my Martial Arts. That's where my primary focus will be for now, not just for myself, but for Motet as well. Afterwards, I may take you up on the offer of using it.", Vaneera explained.
"Additionally, I make my home on Mount Paozu because there's a village there, one I've taken a liking to, it's the first place I found when I landed here on Earth. I've become accepted by the people there, and it's the same for Motet.", after saying that, she'd look towards Motet knowingly. She knew that her friend had a few concerns about being around others, after what happened last night... Not specifically the park, but she could put two and two together, especially after the conversation they had before all of the chaos in the hospital started. Still, Flare seemed like she really wanted this.
"But like I said... You're welcome to come there if you like. Once we're done training, maybe we'll come see your manor, too. Then we can all train together in that Gravity Chamber. I was able to do one thing with my Martial Arts so far...", Vaneera would then smile lightly as she looked towards Motet. "You know how Brenchians lose their full speed in higher levels of Gravity? My Martial Arts will rectify that. I can't wait to show you it! It's... Well, it's still not completed yet, but I'm getting there, and after all the power I just got..."
The White Brenchian composed herself a little, she had reason to be excited, but even so. "I think I can get even closer to perfecting it. Once I have everything figured out, I can start teaching everyone else.", she added. With that out of the way, Motet seemed eager to head back home. To their actual home here on Earth, so it was more or less a unanimous agreement to head back to Mount Paozu. Although Vaneera had her reasons to be upset with Flare, she hoped that the Fire Elemi wouldn't take it too hard.
In this case, it wasn't anything personal, it was just what they preferred to do. Besides, it's not like Flare was going anywhere, right? None of the trio were. They would have more than enough time to prepare, plus the White Brenchian had to admit one thing... She wanted to prove that she could become just as strong as Flare. If only so that her words would hold more weight, people needed to place more faith in what she had to say, and if another emotional outburst like this happened, the strength definitely wouldn't hurt to have on hand.
It was entirely a personal goal, but one she was hoping to match. In any case, she'd look back to Motet once more. "Heh... I still can't fly, so. I'll meet you back at Mount Paozu, Motet. I know you remember the way.", Vaneera stated, and then she'd briefly head back into the hospital to regather her things. Shortly after she'd take off towards the mountain, although she was capable of running much faster now, she kept herself to a reasonable pace so that Motet could keep up with her if her friend decided to do that. The Future Viceroy certainly wouldn't object.
On the contrary, she welcomed it right now. She didn't want to leave Motet unattended out of fear of something happening.
