Flare’s angry words weren’t directed solely on the younger saiyan. Him taking it that way was called for, sure, but it wasn’t what she was going for. Koma’s words would seem to fall on deaf ears as she seemed to continue beating at him with every last bit of her will. That wasn’t the case though as she eventually relented and stepped on back with deep huffs of breath. She was wearing herself thin already. Not just physically, but also mentally. Emotionally. The young flame sometimes forgets she had been highly privileged with her life even in spite of her recent ill received misadventures. The flames that coalesced from her anger driven tirade didn’t die down but was instead handed control over to somber feelings.
“I didn’t mean to take a jab at you like that, that wasn’t what I was really aiming for! It’s just… - I’ve just met more than a handful of younger people able to wipe the floor with me. It just, I… well, that just ticks me right off, ya know? I could have avoided it all, this turmoil, these feelings and stress, ya know! I just had to be so weak!“
Wow, that telepathic message really did shake her emotions back up. Flare would continue to have a hard time containing herself. She was being selfish mostly. After some more staggered breaths she looked between the others in the chamber and started to quite literally cool off. Eventually the flames on her hair and hands would disperse into the warmed air around her. Her eyes returning to that natural clear state. It was that glance she gave and the turn of her body to face everyone that let her feel that bit of relief. Flare was surrounded in good company, and that was something she liked. Probably something she didn’t need to keep straining with this rather uncouth rage that used to only be reserved towards her deceased robot.
“Hah. If I keep throwing fits in front of people they might just start thinking I’m a bitch with money. Just, give me ten. Spent a lot beating the life out of that shirt of yours. At least they’re easy to replace...”
A free hand came up to cover a portion of her face as she spoke and eventually turned to a corner of the chamber that had refreshments. As one would expect, she just picked some things out and started snacking and drinking away the bit of wear she put onto herself. Also… she was just a tad hungry.
Just a tad.
