Over the next couple of days after Komatsu had sparred with Flare, quite a bit of activity happened at the outpost, ruining Komatsu's plan for relaxation. First a new recruit for his squad landed and she was hardly the picture of a saiyan warrior... then he needed to finish building their living quarters... and what was more, there was an idiot saiyan intruder in the base... it was all very frustrating and tiring... And yet here he was, at Flare's mansion once more.
Kyuri had been hard at work over the last day moving the flame Elemi's gravity chamber outside and building it up into it's own building. The walls of the building were reinforced in a similar fashion to his own ship. Considering they were using earthling materials, that alone was pretty impressive... She had also gone and installed the artificial reality interface into the central computer, making sure to wait for Flare, as requested, whenever any significant tinkering was needed. Now there was only the finishing touches to do on it before they could use it.
As it was, Kyuri was inside the gravity room with it set to 30x earth's natural gravity, slowly increasing it as she worked to make sure everything had been properly installed and worked as perfectly as she had designed it too. When Komatsu finally landed outside of the new building, a second figure landed only minutes after she did. This second figure looked a lot more like Flare than like Komatsu and the saiyans to be honest. Her bright fiery red hair clashed against Komatsu's own dark mane. Her eyes were just a bit paler than her hair. She had golden bracers around her arms and was wearing only a simple dress. Clearly she had obtained some Earthling clothes as it was just too different from Komatsu's earlier saiyan armor. Today though, he too wore some of his earthling acquired clothing. A tight brown shirt and white pants, along with his ribbed gloves and shoulder armor that only covered part of his right arm.
"Right... looks like this sprung up fast enough..." Komatsu would say as he headed towards the gravity chamber, finding his grandmother rather easily once inside.
"Is the chamber ready to be used?" He asked her as soon as he walked in. Kyuri would look back after entering something into the central computer, smiling at the young saiyan as he spoke.
"You know Koma... saying hi or even good morning would be a nice change. You were always more polite than your brother... don't let him rub off on you too much... but to answer your question, yes. The Chamber is ready." She stated matter of factly, laughing lightly before looking over to the red head behind Komatsu.
"Good morning Corporal. I see you get to be his guinea pig for the day?" Kyuri asked, only momentarily returning her attention to the monitor.
"Yes Councillor. I don't mind. The lieutenant colonel won't usually put me in a situation I can't handle." Her voice was soft spoken though still firm. She still seemed like a strong warrior, though more... cunning... than Komatsu seemed to be.
Over the few days Flare took her time to just take a load off and relax. Something she wouldn’t tell herself was it was well deserved. Tabitha, upon returning, seemed to have covered up her trek out by actually getting exotic groceries for the manor. Lots of delicate foods and even a few other products like makeup and gadgets. It would seem to be the case that this was all to treat her little flame child in a time of stress and angst. It helped. It all helped. And by the time Koma had sent Kyuri her way to start the work on the Gravity Chamber she was feeling much better.
Flare was happy to actually tinker on her own things again. Granted the opportunity, she took to being beside the saiyaness with a bit of a pep in her step. The Chamber itself was moved offset to the garage, away from the front garden of the manor, and set up within good distance to it. Flare was… overtly eager and excited to watch and eventually get to help in the installation of the A.R. Interface. She showed little concern over the building they had around the chamber in question and instead perked up entirely once the saiyaness started looking into putting the main drive of this little quest to move her chamber out for her and her training. Kyuri might have found the young flame’s knowledge over the subjects of advanced technology and her overall enthusiasm for them as either endearing or overbearing.
“Is it really that simple? Huh.” or “I probably could have done that!” or “WHOA, that’s cool. I’ll try it!” These lines, and variations of it, would often be repeated a few times throughout as she soon wondered why she couldn’t have found way herself. She had been proven to pick up things entirely too easy, this was no different. Perhaps it was time, after this all, to also pull through with her mightiest of endeavors. Perhaps, even, give Jax another try as an even better robot companion. That would have to wait though… After testing the gravity limits of the chamber to make sure everything still functioned within Koma and someone else just behind him appeared in the front of the building with due time. Flare can’t help but chuckle a little at the interaction.
“And… You said she was your Grandmother? Huh. I can see where the Saiyan comes in. My own Granny showers me in hugs.” Almost comedically in contrast to Kyuri and Koma’s little greeting to one another Tabitha would make her own way in behind them with open arms and hug Flare. Auntie seemed to just know that the chamber itself was finished; That or she liked diving into others’ brains and getting that indirectly. She’d rather call it motherly intuition.
“It’s Auntie, not Granny! I don’t want to feel older than what I already am.” After a long pause both of them would break the hug, Flare giving a bit of a wry smirk. “Oh! I have another little present for you before ya start training again deary. Just… give me a moment.” The old lady was in her own battle garb that she had taken a likening to now that Flare knows who she really is. With a bit of fumbling the old lady would take out a small box from under her coat and present it to the young flame.
“Oh?” Flare’s smirk turned into one of intrigue as she pulled the box from the old lady and revealed a couple of flattened, see-through bracelets. Five in total, with the fifth in the top actually looking more like a collar sized piece than bracelet. Flare looked it over for a bit before blinking at Auntie. “And this is from…?”
“Ahh, an admirer of yours. Some kid with a lot of money, liked watching you fight. Instructions are at the bottom of the box.” After a bit of fiddling with it they turned out to be technical weights. Designed specifically to conform perfectly to the skin of wrists, ankles, and the neck area and simulate downwards pressure through nerves. The manual even stated that the things could work with even the strongest of fighters and in the harshest of conditions. It was an interesting paradigm and the instructions on how to put them on, activate them, and easily deactivate them were all user friendly. To the others the style didn’t seem to fit what they would know. “You could probably even find a way to make them look pretty with some red and pink thrown in the outer design.” Flare groaned and just took her time to look over the collar piece. It almost looked like it’d disappear against her skin.
“Right, right. Did you not get a name or do I just have some sort of creep watching me?” Tabitha paused for a moment and smiled. “I don’t really want to deal with that while I’m also doing all of THIS.”
“He said he went by Unda. He was a real cute kid, at that, and that he just had a ship outlying Earth’s orbit. Spies on just about anyone he wants. He hadn’t been around but about a week, doesn’t seem to have any ill intent.” Well, that was news to her. Flare would look up between the old ladies, Komatsu, and the red haired one referred to as a corporal with a smile and put a free hand on her hip.
“I guess that’s not as bad. Guess we could test these while we also train in here. How about that?”

As the pair worked on the gravity chamber and Flare expressed so much interest in what was going on, Kyuri made sure to take extra time to show her the in's and outs of the AR system, as well as anything the girl might show interest in... besides herself of course. She absolutely loved the fact that Flare was so interested in what she was doing and wanting to get so involved. Even her apprentices back home were reluctant to tinker with any of her stuff.
Whenever Komatsu arrived though, it immediately put a wrench in her time with the young Elemi as she had to deal with her grandson. While Komatsu didn't seem to be as angry as he normally was, he was still far from the little boy she knew... she wondered if he would even show his true self again... A sigh escaped her lips too whenever Flare asked about their relationship, and how her own grandmother would be covering her in hugs.
"Things are a bit different for us. For starters, I am his grandmother but I'm also his military superior. Then there's his whole pride thing going on. I imagine it's not so different with Earthling boys. Any sign of affection, and they think they look weak." Kyuri said non nonchalantly, waving her hand and chuckling when the older woman came rushing Flare. Boy, was she ever glad she wasn't a human after seeing her! Of course, she wouldn't say that out loud.
Komatsu huffed at his grandmothers comment, while Satsu had to stifle a giggle. Yasai was the same way truth be told... any time she showed him any public affection he always seemed to distance himself.
What piqued Kyuri's interest next was the information that there was some sort of spy orbiting Earth... She'd been rather lax in her security while they were on Earth but a ship shouldn't have escaped her notice. That was definitely something she was going to look into, as well as increase security around the outpost. It wasn't as if they had many secrets to give away there, but she didn't want any spies getting into their business.
"Well that's convenient." Komatsu suddenly chimed in, eyeing the weights that Flare had just received with mild suspicion, not unlike Flare's own. Who was this random benefactor floating in space exactly? He supposed it didn't matter... they were just weights after all, and if Flare was encumbered then it would be that much easier for Satsu to take her on.
"Yeah, I think testing them out would be a good idea. Weights and gravity is really going to prove to be difficult. I hope you're ready for that. Grandma Kyuri, could you bring up the gravity? ... please?" He added as a side note, trying to sound a tad bit more endearing towards his grandmother. She was always there for him when he needed her,, he supposed the least he could do was try to be nicer... not that he wasn't nice with her in the first place.
Satsu would walk passed Komatsu after he made his request, walking up to Flare with a light smile on her face, extending her hand towards the other girl in greeting.
"Seeing as how the lieutenant colonel isn't going to introduce us. My name is Satsu, I'm a part of the Sub Overseer's squad, looks like the two of us will be the one's training together." She said in a tone very unbecoming of a saiyan. She had a soft and almost gentle sounding voice, unlike most of her kind.
What kyuri said made more sense. Thinking about it, everything the saiyans did had to be of some military standing. It was weird to think of it that way… but it did make sense. Flare calmly started putting the bracelets and anklets on her person and gave them a look over as Koma stated that the use of the weights with her gravity training was going to be tough. That… that she already knew.
“I told you already Komatsu. I’m willing to do just about anything.” That he should also know. Koma was told of her many reasons for doing this all. For straining her very spirit. Breaking her body if she had to. If these were to work for her, well, tough work was to be ahead. As per the manual’s instruction Flare held a button down that was well hidden against the transparency of the bracelet… And, for some reason, her muscles started feeling like they had been weighted down. It wasn’t some weird device this Unda person could have left if he was a creep. It felt like part was missing without the collar however. After a bit of checking with a few punches she’d grab at the collar as well and start fixing it on herself.
"Hah… This is such a weird feeling. Seems to work though. I’ll have to see its insides after we’re done here because this is just so cool." She smiled at its effect and eventually got the collar on around her… completing this pseudo heaviness in her torso and neck area. Definitely able to keep up with her much more powerful self than the gear she used to have on. Today has just been a field day with the young flame.
"Ahh, I am glad you enjoy them dear. Come give me another before I leave you to your devices." Auntie just smiled and took to hugging the young woman again in front of the mere acquaintances. Flare groaned again and just returned a hug back at her before breaking it up fast. "I’ll be just outside if you and your friends need anything. Me and… a couple of the house maids, mind you. Have fun and don't get too hurt!" Tabitha would refrain from hugging any of those with a tail and the random redhead girl alongside them and just give them all a small nod and smile before heading out of the building herself. She sure seemed happy for her little girl... Flare was left standing there with the others and this Satsu girl.
“Ahh, nice to meet ya. It’s Flare. Hot by at least one definition.” Flare would take into jest the formality of rank the gentler of those among them said. She would take that hand firmly and shake it maybe a bit too enthusiastically. Somewhat held back by the unnatural pressure in her limbs from the new weights. “And it looks that way, huh? Koma got me worked up the last time, I’d definitely want to see how one of his companions do.” Stepping back she’d toss the black box the weights came in to the side and also start taking off the overcoat around her to reveal the tight fitting black suit underneath. Maybe a little too tight fitting. On a different matter, now that they are more in view these weights seemed to not even be there. After a good minute of being on her they vanished far passed being transparent.
“So how are we doin’ this, huh?” The young flame looked between all of them with a perked brow and waited for anything further. She then just glanced at Koma almost expectantly; This was his idea and training regime anyways. So far what he has been doing hasn't been going too far against her grain. “Wanting a straight up spar in the increased gravity then?”

"I won't lie, I'd be interested in having a peek at those as well if you wouldn't mind?" Kyuri piped up as she watched Flare put on and briefly test out the wights. It was an interesting concept, one she could probably easily recreate if she were back home... Something like that could prove quite beneficial to the saiyans training, weights that weren't as cumbersome as the bulky traditional armor they most often times wore...
Komatsu could see the gears turning in Kyuri's head as she already seemed to be analyzing the weights from a distance. It caused his mouth to twitch into a light smile as he noticed this, feeling himself calm down wuite a lot from such a simple thing... It seemed he really needed to get all of that off his chest and just take things easy... the entire situation with his siblings had been entirely too stressful for him. He had to admit this was a very nice change of pace. It was like that brief moment of peace he felt back when he was training Kohl on planet Natto...
'All the more reason I can't lose to Jarvis... I want that peace back... and Kohl... arg I promised her we could leave Earth and the Alliance behind but... I'm wondering if that's the right choice... If I'll even get to make that choice...' Komatsu thought to himself in that one moment he had calmed down. His attention was brought back to reality as he just faintly heard Satsu and Flare introducing one another. It was strange to see the two getting along, but nice on the same tolken... a saiyan and an Earthling... He sort of wished his sister @atsuko was watching this from the lookout. He would have mentally nudged her but... well he didn't think she was quite ready for it yet.
Satsu would smile gently as Flare spoke of Komatsu, she could only imagine what the sub overseer had put the girl through.
"I don't doubt that for a second. When it comes to training he's very serious, but in his own way he's always looking for the best way to improve those he's training..." She started to say, Komatsu clearing his throat to cut her off, huffing as he stepped towards the chambers console and, without warning, changed the gravity setting to 50x Earth's normal gravity.
"You make me sound so soft hearted Satsu, and yes Flare, the two of you will be sparring under the increased gravity. Satsu isn't nearly as strong as I am so you should be able to keep up with her in your base form. Training in your base form is always more beneficial than using any transformed states. " He instructed, stepping away from the two girls and crossing his arms once more as he looked between Satsu and Flare. Satsu was already slipping into a strange looking fighting stance. The way she was crouched forward and down was almost like she was emulating some form of jungle cat. She looked like she was going to be rather quick on her feet.
"Start as soon as your ready. I'll be watching for weaknesses in your fighting style and point out area's of improvement." He added, to which Satsu nodded once more with a light 'yes sir' before she sprang forward. She wondered how fast Flare could move when she was so restricted, and so started with nothing but a straight up side kick to Flare's gut once she got close enough.
The interest Kyuri mutually shared with the young flame about the device was an endearing thought to keep in mind for later. She had peers before with similar interests to her own but they were never really friends. Flare didn’t see them as friends just yet but she didn’t seem to have that earthling vibe of competition with tech about her that others had. Besides, now if she were to go toe to toe with someone of similar skill she’d fine way to blow them out of the water in more ways than one. Before Komatsu had introduced the two Flare’s last encounter with someone of similar standing was on the webs. Forums for nerds sort of deal… The young flame, despite her business she ran and took from her foster parents, stayed inside way too much.
"I don't mind a bit Kyuri. Could be a fun little project we do together." Satsu’s own power… she could tell the redhead wasn’t on par with the saiyan she matched up against before. It took all she had to even hit home on Koma when they sparred, and he did so for good reason. The girl reinforced the idea that Komatsu knew how to train effectively. Training in a base form, of course was better. This new challenger was a different stipulation for that cause. At the same time as she was to train with a much weaker partner she was also under another constraint that she wasn’t aware of. When the gravity hit the halfway limit of its capacity she froze up and struggled to stand. The electronic weights already affecting her body amplified in feeling when actual gravitational force acted on her body. To all the others still deciding to take the force of the room Flare looked like she hand anchors strapped to her limbs.
"HNGH. Hold up, gimme-" She didn’t fall into a stance like Satsu did, her form bent at the knees were just to keep hersef up. Fists clenched to keep her arms from slumping down. It was certainly different from more recent increments of the gravity machine. It was a close comparison to her first time in ten times, without the falling flat on her ass part to begin with. All of that considered, with Satsu now barreling towards the young flame, she had to DO something! The girl would be disappointed in the initial speed the elemi would start in an attempt to sidestep the entire kick.
That didn’t pan out. Actually, it dug more into the side of her stomach and spun her a bit. She let out a hefty grunt and stumble to get a proper footing again… This did create an interesting opening in the process though. With the spin and momentum of the kicks the girl managed to give Flare enough to work with. Going INTO Satsu, brushing off the kick after the initial blow, to grab at the back of her neck with one hand and step her left foot forward. This was going to be an attempt to powerfully, but also rather sluggishly, attempt to throw the kicking perpetrator on their back. It was be a thing to buy the fire elemi some time to properly adjust to the change in her weights and the gravity combined. Stamina: 3/3 Flare took Satsu’s kick and returned with an untrained 7205 PL grapple and throw.

The new weights definitely had Flare bogged down, which would be good for Satsu seeing as the girl was at such a huge disadvantage here. She obviously could see just how much strain in put on her body, because she dove right in to dig her heel into Flare's gut. Komatsu just continued to watch silently, not saying a word as the sluggish Earthling grabbed hold of Satsu's foot in an attempt to throw her some ways away. He was surprised to see that she actually managed to grab her foot at all! However, as she went to throw her, Satsu hopped up into the air, floating and counter grappling Flare by using her momentum to wrap her legs around the girls neck.
"Uh..." Was the first expression to leave Komatsu's mouth as he watched the two girls struggling against one another. Was the gravity also affecting Satsu? She did seem to be moving much more sluggish than normal...
"If you need to adjust to your weights faster, channel your ki from your core, directly out to your limbs. The more you push into your legs, the more balance and freedom of movement you'll have..." He instructed, wondering if Flare would even be able to hear him while being grappled by Satsu's thighs. He couldn't help but blush and clear his throat, shifting as he continued to wait for the outcome... if Satsu stayed there too long, it would be far too easy for Flare to knock her off...
The redhead gracefully one upped the slowed Flare, using the time it took to grab at her and instead just hopped upwards. Wrapped legs around the elemi’s neck and hung there. All while using Flare’s momentum to make her way up. Once the flow had stopped and started pulling her the elemi nearly fell onto her back. With all this weight on her it was a wonder how she didn’t do just that. Before Komatsu could get much out she was, in fact, working on bringing the redhead’s body back up and forward to sling her off that way. She couldn’t breath all too well, considering, so she started to be a bit hasty with her attempts. The helpful bit of advice from the kid was nice though, muffled from the legs around her. Still, Flare had heard it. It was something she didn’t think of at that moment. With a bit of concentration and lady strugglin the young flame would channel her ki directly into her feet. Even though her body still felt encumbered with the weight brought upon it this worked well enough to just start moving herself forward in a quick rush. The momentum of which she would use to throw her shoulders forward and hopefully throw off the hybrid in a roar of effort. If she could manage just that she’d step back a few and gather herself with some gasping breaths.
“I see the weights definitely work. Nice one.” She joked about and rubbed her neck. Stiff from the encounter. After a moment and a creak in her neck the young flame lit up her fists in a fiery show. It would seem that the elemi was about to launch a more powerful technique than a mere kick… but once Flare got into a more defensive boxing stance and started making her way over she stopped dead in her tracks not a few steps in. Her eyes widened as a sudden feeling came over her. To those viewing outside it would just seem for the moment she was daydreaming. What was this? The next moment… a voice started up in her head. Her blank stare turned into one both frightened and angered.
The myth and legend himself, Caesar Jarvis. He didn’t even say anything intelligible yet just hearing the familiar telepath in her head got her riled up.
[“Can you feel it? Can you feel how orgasmic that power feels she has now... Get ready for the party flamer... You’re gonna be our newest toy after the big party hits its finale! Just thought I'd tease a little, Everyone loves a flirt after all.”]
A flood of sensations and dark feelings of death were also given to her. Like some sadistic gift… One intentionally being the energy from Shizen… And she was much stronger than before too… Oh… kais, what had he done to her? How could Flare had let this happen? Making a concubine and guardian of her is one thing, but this… this felt of the likes of demons. The worst of them at that. Shizen felt frighteningly similar to Caesar, she must have done things close to unredeemable… Unspeakable.
And it was her fault for it. For a moment, she felt even more stupid and self pity upon herself… Then she remembered what she was in this chamber for. Why she was with Komatsu and the others. To eventually come to Atsuko and be trained in a proper aspect. She was all here to face this fucking man and burn him to ash. To undo what she had done to a love and to hopefully free others that this man has forced into things. Not to mention this… Nakiya, and this sorcerer of hers that were all part of this. All of these evil influences were due for a cleansing flame to wipe them from the world of the living-, no, existence entirely. Such people-, no, things… These things do not deserve an ounce of anything good given to them. It was scum like them that caused her former master, her former friend, and now her quick love to betray her. To become crazed with evil intent and manipulated.
On the outside Flare’s hair would start burning a magnificent array of red and orange flames. Flames around her form coalescing as multiple emotions welled up inside her. Anger, pity, grief, sorrow. The chamber itself would heat up like before with Komatsu, the culmination of her being poured into a form much like before. It’d heat up to an uncomfortable degree now. Her frightened and angered eyes turning to that just from moments before to one with pure anger. The whites and all covered in a red hue entirely now. This fire shooting from her hair seems to burst, her hair itself turning into a brilliant flame. Her stature straightened up as she no longer pursued the other redhead and instead stood there. She wasn’t just directing her anger at anyone; It was more towards everyone.
- Attuned Super Elemi w/ Katchin PL: 1,104,863 (Showing 4,419,450 temporarily for Jarvis as a “flare” in her power temporarily let her do so before dropping back down due to weights.) -
“THAT bastard!” Even though the god king had closed link to her by that point that wouldn’t stop her from projecting her own thoughts. Flare didn’t need his consent or fucking mercy. She didn’t even need to search his power through the cosmos to get to him. He already gave himself away rather easily. Interesting enough, she’d both yell aloud what she was saying to the god king and telepath it to him directly.
“[“I’m no toy of yours, mutt! You’re a sad excuse of a man who deserves everything coming to him. Teasing? Keep stoking the flames, keep making shit decisions and enemies, because I will tell you this. You made a mistake showing your ugly ass face that full moon. You made a mistake of hurting friends, my love. Please, come. I’m sure the Kami and some of my newer friends will enjoy handing that demon lady your head on a golden platter!”]” This was anger, almost pure. Like Flare being an elemi made her a being of anger and flames together. She had to vent; there was little other way for her to not just start punching at those around and possibly breaking things. That being said, trying to get near her to calm her down might prove difficult. “[“I promise, I’ll be there personally to burn you on a pyre over and over and over again. To eternally make you suffer for your sins! Hear me chump!? HUH!? I’m a flame that won’t go out! I’ll be sure to roast you till you WANT to die! And then I’ll flip you over and start on the other side!”]”
That… all that had worked her up. She was both yelling and telepathing this rather anger filled message to the Caesar at the top of her lungs… After she had made out what she wanted to say she stopped looking to the skies and turned towards Komatsu. Then to Satsu… her body suddenly shaking. Flare let go of her telepathy with the Caesar and fell to her knees… eyes watering. Just letting it all out… Again, her probable reason being she wasn’t just wanting to hurt anyone in her fit of anger and wake.
“Shizen… Fuck, why me? Why her?” Flare trembled for the moment and sniffled, trying to get rid of the tears in her eyes with a few wipes from her hand. Hoping to stop it before it came to fruition. “I didn’t ask for this… Now… Now Jarvis is coming back to get me… as a toy of his… I don’t know how much longer I have. He has messed with Shizen too… With others.” At this point the power in her voice and form dwindled. The weights and her compliance to them retaking. The room was still probably a bit warm for comfort but she wasn’t going to be heating it up any more than what it had been.
“I’m sorry. Yelling seemed a better option than making… Satsu here a punching bag.” In this form the weights still had great effect on her power and speed… but she seemed to outclass the other redhead undoubtedly. “But what am I kidding? Komatsu here could shut me down rather easily. Hahahah…” She tried laughing away the bit of pain in herself. Sniffling between a bit of it. She managed to keep herself from full-on crying but she was still there on the ground, full in form. Flare goes to throw off the Satsu with an [OT-1] Flare Combo (36,029 PL damage), then transformed after Caesar got at her feels with a message. Replying in kind with telepathy of her own.

Flare was definitely a quick learner, as almost as soon as Koma instructed her to fuel ki into her legs she did so, and it made quite the difference.Flare was successfully able to bend back, then launch Satsu forward off of her shoulders with her renewed balance. It didn't look like it had been the easiest maneuver out there, but it worked.
Satsu was thrown off of Flare, and tried to catch herself before falling onto the ground but ultimately failed with an 'oof' as she hit the ground like a sack of potatoes. Okay, so that hadn't been the best plan on her part... She quickly pushed herself back up to her feet, and turned around to face Flare once more, bringing up her guard to get ready to continue the fight that had only just started. Oddly enough though, Flare wasn't acting on her advantage... Instead she was catching fire... wait... catching fire? Satsu looked over to Komatsu with a curious and worried expression on her face, only to be met with her commanders stern gaze. Though he wasn't looking at Satsu, instead he was focusing on Flare. Obviously he'd seen this before.
As soon as Flare started to literally heat things up, he saw Satsu's glance but didn't take his eyes off of Flare. This could get bad very fast for the corporal if Flare for some reason used her full power on her.
"Flare? What are you doing?" He asked, keeping himself in instructor mode and rooted to the spot. It wasn't until she began to yell and talk out loud, that Komatsu assumed someone was inside her head. He absolutely hated it when his sister's sent him telepathic messages, and judging by Flare's outburt, this wasn't Atsuko or Cambia. No, it was quite obviously the foe they were both training for.
He didn't interrupt choosing instead to take a few steps closer to Satsu. While he knew he would be fast enough to intervene if anything happened, he didn't want to take any bets on him being too slow just then.
"None of us asked for any of what that idiot's doing, and that's why we're here training to beat him. Flar... Whoever this Shizen is... sounds like you'll do anything to get her back..?" He asked, a thought suddenly occurring to him as he saw just how shaken up she was by this. Satsu walked closer to Flare, Kneeling down in front of her and placing her hand on her shoulder, smiling to her kindly.
"Hey... it's going to be alright. With all of us together, there's no way he'll get away." She tried to assure the other redhead.
In many ways the outrage and cries of the fire elemi were reminiscent of those who were Saiyans. No doubt anyone who had achieved the ability to become a super saiyan had hard work, sweat, and tears put into it. Rage filled emotion was a staple in their saiyan form… Here, it appeared differently. While she did appear to be outright furious and angered by the intrusion and abrupt violation of her mind the news it held more upset her with grief than with unbridled anger. Flare wouldn’t hear the question Komatsu posed at first. It was all white noise in her despair until the other young woman decided to grasp her shoulder and try actually reassuring her… And to that the fire elemi looked up with those bright red eyes. Eyes full of emotion and pain.
“I… want to believe that. I really do. Trust me when I say that.” She would start, signs of her still holding back her emotional state in her voice. For a moment it might seem like she was about to get up… but her movements were just a deep sigh. Followed by some more deep breaths in order to calm herself. “And I know… I know that I - no, we can make up for it… We can do it together… but he keeps getting to me. Getting to my nerves, my feelings.” She’d take a moment to glance back at Koma and just recollect what he had tried saying to her earlier. The bit that her mind wasn’t getting at the moment… Asking about Shizen.
“She’s not the only reason, but damn it if she isn’t THE reason. That son of a bitch humiliated me, nearly took my legs, spat on me and any sense of self worth I had then proceeded to destroy my little robot. The bastard took her away as he simply TORTURED me. Drove me into the earths with his damned boot, cracked bone after bone and drove the breath out of me. Not only that, he managed to fell me and the others in a single stride and just left. After the fact… I woke in the hospital after a heated nightmare and... I let my anger get in the way. Before you know it I started assaulting people who didn’t deserve it. The others didn’t feel like they could trust me after that, and with reason...” It was the same thing Koma had been told about before during their break. It might be news to others though. The ways in which this transformation was obtained weren’t unlike some stories. Flare just wished it didn’t have to come with the pain of it.
“I had nightmares for weeks. I still have them… The reason for all this? I… I made a promise to Shizen, and she made one to me. Just the night before. The past year alone I had many a friend and teacher betray me and any sense of good inside themselves for power. Greed, strength… You name it. Voluntarily or forced upon them… I said I wouldn’t want what happened before come to fruit again, and she promised me that wouldn’t be the case… But… what I just felt? That hippie, that little innocent, naive spirit? She’s not there anymore! Whatever Jarvis and those with him did to her… It’s bad. Real bad. I was on about forgiving myself for the inability to stop what had happened to her. For not being strong enough… But I had thought she would be able to resist whatever influence that mark put on her had. At least for a while, until I could get my own strength up. I was sorely mistaken.” Satsu would be careful being so close to the fire elemi as some fires started whipping around her again. Not nearly as dangerous as Flare was when she was yelling her emotions were still at play here. Another long, drawn out sigh escaped her lips as she drew up the strength to get herself up from the ground. Weights feeling heavier in around the shoulders than anywhere else, metaphorically speaking.
“We need to go at this even harder. Put myself under even more extreme amounts of stress. I’m needing to be stronger, damn it! If he comes earlier than what I can prepare for it might be for naught. There’s no way he isn’t going to be using Shizen against me, and there’s no way he doesn’t have more deviant tricks under his sleeve to make sure he came out ahead.” After a moment the flame Flare’s hair was made up of and the fires quelled… After she clenched her fists so tight fingers almost broke skin. Her power started declining back to the base form prior. Her breath calmed and her stance firm once again.
“Thank you for the words… I need you to give me more though Satsu. Hit me harder. Make me feel it this time. I need something to get my mind from racing before I got nuts.” She challenged with a renewed smile; she wasn’t being very commanding or strict with her request… More so expecting the kind woman to just follow up on it.

"Normally I'm quick to compare, but I can't say he's done anything similar to me besides being an annoying ass in the after-life." He admitted, frowning as he listened to Flare go on about just how intensely he humiliated her when he was here on Earth. Those actions were harsh, even for Jarvis... Every time Komatsu had run into the hybrid saiyan he hadn't seen this truly evil side he heard so much about... sure he had seen that transformed monstrosity, held him at bay from killing any of his comrades but every time he had seen Jarvis... it was like facing off against a kid. He was out to have fun in his own twisted way... but he had been take compared to the stories he heard. Why was that? Did Jarvis not want to show him his darker side?
This got the young saiyan thinking hard on the situation at hand, wondering about situations that could be, and plans that might have been... thinking like this though, he'd drive himself insane. None of it mattered in the end... Komatsu had a deal with him, a duel that would determine the fate of a lot of people riding on this. None of it would matter either if he couldn't further his own training. He was so far ahead of Flare... training her... it would do nothing for him...
"Before you two continue... Flare there's a lot I feel we should talk about... but first, I can see how passionate you are about fighting him and I really respect that. Look... there's this special training I will be doing on the lookout. It will get a years worth of training in a single day. I know it sounds crazy, but there's a room on the lookout which will let me achieve this. I've been waiting for one of my comrades to join me in the chamber, but it seems he's far too busy to help me. Why don't you join me instead? It'll be far more intense than any training we can do here." Komatsu offered as he finally uncrossed his arms, looking to Flare intently. He would give a light wave to Satsu, indicating that she should step back as Komatsu stepped up in her place. Sure he had wanted the two to have a fair match, but with how Falre was feeling right now, he doubted she'd remain in control of herself for very long... She's power up again and completely blow the Corporal away. No, he'd step in instead and make sure Flare could properly vent.
"Satsu isn't very strong, so why don't you take it out on me? I swear I won't just dodge this time." He assured her as he shifted into the Soy School martial arts stance once he was standing in front of her.
And here she thought the blue prick had done something super malevolent to the boy as well. The young flame took his words with some gauge against them. With how he specifically wanted to go about training alongside her to face Jarvis she just assumed he brought similar form against him. Did Flare actually have a bigger mouth than a teen saiyan still going through puberty? She knew for a fact it was him being angry at her comments that got her some of that punishment. Would she take that back? Probably not now, Jarvis WAS all of what Flare said he was. Acting on it only proved her point. Even if it broke her down on both a physical and mental level. It would seem they’d talk about it later though. Therapy wasn’t a thing she wanted or considered but if it was just some talk over it that she wouldn’t mind in the slightest. Now, for some jive to lighten the mood.
“Annoying ass sounds about right. I’d tack on ‘child’ at the end of that title though. Fucker acts on every little critique and treats everything like a game. Not to mention he knows what I’m going to tell him just by reading my mind...” Special training on the lookout? Flare looked a bit confusingly at the saiyan as he first started approaching from the side to take Satsu’s place. With the way he was putting it this was much different than just training under Atsuko. A year of training in a single day? She might have known about it eventually with her upcoming training under the kami herself but it wasn’t something she heard off cuff. Why hadn’t the blonde saiyaness herself told Flare of this when she was asking for desperate help? Besides the point of that Time Dilation seemed far beyond what she was willing to just accept on hearsay. Sure, they had tiny capsules that defied laws of matter and energy… But time itself is what kept the universe spinning on.
“Excuse my skepticism. A year's worth… in a day? As in, we’d be training for a year our time but it’d only be, at most, a day in reality?” The questions she had, along with her already stirred emotions from the blue prick himself, kept the room a bit warmer than it usually was. She wasn’t producing sporadic flames now, but was just heating the place on mere excrement of emotion. Koma was probably right in his decision to eventually just let himself be a punching bag instead of Satsu… With that assurance she took in a few deep breaths, a sniffle, and would raise up her fists again for another go. “I’ll go with ya to the lookout and see it for myself, sure. But let me first take you up on the offer of becoming a stress reliever.” Flare smirked and at that moment, weights still doing their thing, she came flying forward at a marginally faster rate with a couple of fists to his guts. One, two, three in all. Each one filled with their own amounts of emotion and strive. 'Nother 7205 PL pawnch, this time towards Koma as he offers himself up.

Sure Koma's experiences with Jarvis were different than Flare's but that didn't mean he hated the man any less. Jarvis constantly demeaned him and his pride, constantly ran away from battles between the two of them, threatened his squad and people with war as well as threatening his sister's home. To Komatsu, Jarvis was more of a rival than an outright villain. For him, it was within the realm of possibility that he could defeat him. All of that was personal though, and he wouldn't go into it with Flare right then... she might decide her reason was more valid to fight him and try to get in the way of his duel with Jarvis. That would be disastrous for the young Elemi, unless she somehow found some incredible power to catch up to him while in the hyperbolic time chamber.
Hearing her skepticism, Koma would just nod at the absurdity of how it all sounded. He hadn't believed it at first either to be honest until he had seen his nephew as a 6 month old child, after his sister stepped in while she was pregnant.
"Honestly, I didn't believe it either at first. Though my sister stepped into that room while she was just a few months pregnant, and came out with a 6 month old child. This happened in the span of a day... so while it still seems weird, I believe tht this thing works, and I need all the help I can get right now to be ready to face off against Jarvis." He explained as she then went on to accept his offer, on the condition that she get to beat on him some to vent her frustrations. Koma had no complaints since he put himself in that position in the first place. He would stand his ground as Flare came blazing towards him. He truly intended not to dodge her, as he promised, and instead just stood there as her fists came crashing into his gut one after another. While he didn't feel the impact was too hard, he could definitely feel the heat in here rising to such a point that it was even making him uncomfortable. He would finally retaliate to her strikes by raising his leg and attempting to kick Flare away from him, still holding his ground.
His response to the young flame’s criticisms were met with… actual experience? Komatsu’s own sister apparently came out of there with a child. It was definitely a weird example to throw out, but taking it by hearsay would mean that this chamber up in the lookout actually did hold some sort of extraordinary property… To be honest, she’d want to look the place over while she was there as well. Something supernatural like that, despite this use of ki and other sported things frequent in today’s world…. Time was a more intangible conception to control. Yes, Flare would keep that in mind while she was furiously pounding at Koma. Right before he brought he foot to kick her away from him. He was the better of the two and executed such a task with ease, the kick flung Flare back a good few feet and made her grunt on impact.
“If what ya said is true, and your sister came in pregnant and out with an infant… Then, this could give me the gap closer I need to give Jarvis back what he deserves.” The confidence in her words shook the room, being filled with anger and excitement. It was like finding a cheat code to some game. It would, in reality, take more than just the visit to make her be comparable in strength to Jarvis… But just like with everything else she had done up to this point it was a place to start and pick up on new power. To her it was a step in the right direction and with time she’d be able to finally accomplish her goal of revenge. Of avengeance. Everything had its beginning, and heroes weren’t made out of priss and pampering; Despite what she knew of Atsuko’s raising. Grit and dedication came from lose and challenge, not tranquil standby. Being too aggressive could make one no better than the person who wronged them, and that was a balance Flare kept in mind countless times. Trying hard not to lose her temperament now that she was unbelievably strong and make use of what strength she did have in order to unmake some terrible mistakes.
Was her philosophy wrong in that way? There are plenty of warriors who trained just to be strong and outdo one another. Flare knew this as well, was it just her being lazy? Complacent with life up to this point? The young flame sighed and just went on with beating on the Saiyan again. Fists alight this time as the fiery ki and fists combined would slam hard at his chest should he still take the shots.
“All these kids with their kai damned power, trained as children. Some with proper care… others, not. I was robbed of what I could have been because, what, I’m some prissy rich girl? Fuck that noise.” Her angry disposition was coined at herself more than anything; She was still in the middle of venting after all. “Why hadn’t my drive ever been like this? I wouldn’t even have had to deal with this nonsense if my former master wasn’t a piece of shit! If I wasn’t a geek who liked sitting on her ass and tinkering with all odds and ends! I refuse to accept that I’m not in the right mindset for fighting! I refuse to just get stomped over by some idiot who thinks he can rule over others with his shitty attitude! I refuse to fucking take this shit from Jarvis; No, I refuse to take this shit from ANYONE just because they are stronger! If you want to mess with me and those I like then I should be able to have equal ground to pound your face and ship you back to the dumps where you belong. ‘Cause you’re trash! A shit person!” She wouldn’t keep talking… but her ruthless assaulting over Koma would continue as they would train in the chambers. Her auntie hadn't made an appearance either, seeming to already know of the girl's distress and way of dealing with it being rather voluntarily prescribed by Koma...

"It'll definitely give us both a much needed boost to close that gap. I've been looking forward to using this thing for some time, I'm glad you're on board with this." While he wasn't outwardly showing it, Komatsu was smirking from ear to ear on the inside. He finally had a training partner who could put up with him at least to some degree. He would have much rather go in the chamber with Jie Shan, seeing as they were both saiyan and might have a very different training regiment, but it could do him a lot of good going in with Flare too. Maybe he'd actually learn a thing or two from this Earthling. That was assuming she wasn't beating on him like this the whole time.
When her fists lit up with fire, Komatsu rose an eyebrow but didn't simply dodge her, as he said he would. Instead, he stood his ground once more, although using his arms to block her as much as he could just then. When she began her rant about children being so strong, he would huff and actually aim to hit her back on that one.
" I wasn't trained by anyone as a kid, I learned to fight in a prison cell in what's now Jarvis' dungeon for 8 years. I fought for my life every single day from 7 years old, I had to become better and stronger, just to withstand the torture they put me through. Some of us didn't have a choice but to become strong early on. " Komatsu defended, feeling a rather personal jab with her words. While he was on the verge of becoming 17 years old, he still didn't view himself as anything more than a kid... there was so much he didn't know because of all his time locked away...
He had to stop thinking like that though, Flare was venting, and by Saiyan laws he was well above the age of being an adult. He had to stop viewing himself in such a negative light... well, it was definitely something to work on, and something to worry about another time. Every time Flare struck him, parts of his shirt would burn away, the flames barely hurting his body, but tearing the garment to shreds one punch at a time.
