Completely ignoring Piyano at first Maiz simply stared directly ahead into Rukia's eyes. The young woman displayed a look that was at once one of obedience and defiance. Leading Piyano to believe the Saiyan wished nothing more than to strike Rukia down in a wave of unfettered KI. Not necessarily to kill her vampire companion, but to display a level of dominance over. Rivalry was to be expected Piyano knew, but this seemed far more than a want for simple competition to the alien's perspective. Seeing such intention in the eyes of one Rukia lived beside brought a sadness to Piyano's heart, as the Namekian knew of no Namek's that would ever view their brothers in such a manner.
Piyano struggled to find a means of describing the personality of Maiz, Rukia's Saiyan counterpart. Mostly because the kind Namekian didn't wish to write the woman off as rude and disrespectful after a single encounter. To the Namekian's grief however the alien found that Maiz left him no other choice than to be disappointed with the young teen. Perhaps it was because Maiz was still so young? Or perhaps she was simply displaying several dominant flaws in Saiyan personality as a species? In the end it failed to matter however as the young woman barely even acknowledge Piyano's existence within the room, the Saiyan avoided his gaze, even answered his questions with more question directed at Rukia. The Namekian could only sigh aloud at Maiz's display, especially when the young woman took a slighted shot at Piyano's race. The green man didn't even bother to respond to Maiz's rude remarks, her lack of discipline only revealing to Piyano how very short this young ones path would travel.
"Well young one, for what it's worth I am pleased to have made your acquaintance." Piyano replied in a respectful goodbye as Rukia gave the Saiyan leave to prepare herself in the gravity room Piyano and his hostess had just exited. Watching the Saiyan quickly shut off her gaming machine and clean up after herself Piyano noticed that the girl was at least house trained, something which had likely happened from many long fights, and defeats at Rukia's hand. "I am sorry to see your friend possesses a lack of discipline. Such unrestrained belief in her own abilities and self importance shall likely lead her to her end one day." Piyano said to Rukia with a shake of his head once Maiz had left them alone. The older Namekian spoke not to insight anger into his hostess, but as a warning to watch after her companion. Piyano had heard many stories of youthful fights throwing away their lives in unwinnable battles, all because they lacked enough respect for others to realize they were out classed.
Choosing to take no offense from Maiz's display the Namekian stepped in line with Rukia as she guided him deeper into the manor. Before long Piyano noticed the pair was moving upstairs into the impressive structures second level, seemingly Sayako enjoyed her solitude. As they walked Rukia kindly filled Piyano in on the meaning behind some of Maiz's words during the girls reaction. News that the pair had met and battled in the south, a place with the highest concentration of Earth based Saiyans, neither surprised Piyano nor was unanticipated. The Namekian was glad to hear Rukia believed Maiz's intent to be the reasoning of a young teen. It hinted at a higher level of wisdom within Rukia than her companion seemed to possess.
"I would highly suggest that you do not grant such a request. If your friend seeks battle for such pitiful gains than she shall surely receive injury, perhaps even risk death. I suspect however that you have already come to these conclusions yourself." Piyano replied, Rukia had displayed a level of wisdom beyond her years several times before that evening and so Piyano was beginning to view the powerful young woman less as a teen and more as a adult. As Rukia tried to explain away her friends human comment the Namekian simply took Rukia at her word. With Piyano's limited understanding of vampires being virtually nonexistent the green alien saw no reason for doubt. Especially since Piyano himself had believed Rukia to be human until she had displayed her great level of power.
"I would be honored if Sayako would display her talents for us." piyano said as his hostess made her announcement. The Namekian found that he could only hope Rukia would succeed in convincing her secondary partner to display some level of the famed Majin races mystical and magical abilities. Born to a race that greatly venerated magic and employed it in their every day lives Piyano was always fascinated by the mystical arts. In the Namekian's mind fighting and training the body was simply a means of strengthening the mind through adversity. Signs of this belief was reflected in Piyano's own combat capabilities should one review what he can do.
Luckily Piyano had been born into the right tribe on his home planet, and while not wealthy or noble in any manner the green alien had always possessed access to that which interested him the most. Knowledge, born into a tribe of Namekian priests Piyano had since his birth been raised to seek the means of thought and mystery over the might and right of the body. So even now the Namekian found his hopes chasing thoughts and imaginations down the corridors of his mind as he envisioned the possibilities that Sayako could possess simply as a byproduct of her heritage.
Trained on the ways of magic Piyano had not missed during his training with Lady Date that the woman's more astonishing powers were based in sorcery of some kind. After all how could any being scientifically be reconstructed into mist and reformed so perfectly? Realizing this Piyano was left to wonder if all of Rukia's talents were based in the realm of magic? Could her very strength in fact be a simple representation of magical might? Coming to the conclusion that such a thing was indeed possible the Namekian knew than that he would have to learn more of vampires, if only so that a greater understanding of their magical ability could by told of in tale to other generations of Piyano's people.
"A thought comes to me Ms. Date, the magic of your people? Is it a skill learned through study and history? Or a natural byproduct of your very body?" the man asked before they reached Sayako's room. Piyano hoping to determine an answer before the pair had to deal with whatever personality that Sayako would put on display once they had arrived at the Majin's door.
Having originally been human, she still had the capability of not only recognizing, but also feeling empathy for either those that fell by her hand, or the death of any future servants. There was still humanity left in her, although she followed reason, more than anything else. While part of that reason involved properly training her servants, she didn't really care what they did.
So long as what she had planned wasn't ruined, and they could be to her aid when needed, they were reasonably allowed to do what they wanted. The man sighing at the younger girl's behavior, was simply more amusing, than something that was upsetting.
For a man who was clearly the respectful type, and must have had plenty of self control, this slip was one indication on how much of a role that age could play. It went back to what they had talked about earlier, on how earthlings could do the unexpected.
Maiz was from space, but the analogy still applied. While it did seem to disappoint him, the man had at least continued to show good faith and leave the other girl with kind words, rather than unpleasant ones. That would be a 50/50 chance for humans.
Her servant didn't respond, but that was just expected since the girl did things to fulfill her own needs. Following what she was told, was likely because she had mentioned the gravity room, which let different implications left hanging in the air.
The girl had a choice in believing that she and the Majin would team up against her, or that she would last longer against the Majin, and be able to show that off. But getting to use the machine in the first place, was what her servant likely wanted most.
"From what I've seen and heard first hand, her people have no empathy by choice, and live to fight. Something about their biology giving them advantage at being near death."
This was information from her other servant, along with reports. Nothing that can really be proven without witnessing it first, in her opinion anyway. The only reason she hadn't gotten a confirmation, was so she could use it for later, when the time had came.
With her current lack of experience in using ki attacks, going all out on the girl, as much as she possibly could, would be asinine. Especially since they had yet to procure a medical tank for themselves, to skip out on any hospital trips and their hassle.
"I'm quite aware. Though it'll be some time before we could revisit such a place at all. Visiting the north is already using up a good week for other affairs."
The Southern Islands was a good place to vacation though, only a week or not. But it wasn't a place they could rally go back to, seeing as how she had already used up some school days for this. Nothing she couldn't make up with the time put into it however.
There was a purpose into having the man meet her servants. Beyond it just being proper courtesy, she wanted to show off the kind of power she had working for her. It might not have been much yet, but it would only take a couple of months for that to change.
Exposing her help to whoever she invited into their home, would also show them different methods and behaviors she might want them to pick up on or consider. With the proper time and effort, changing their behavior this way wouldn't take that long either.
"I can't say she'll feel the same way. Though she certainly needs to talk to more people."
With their coming approach to the girl's room, she had pulled out the vial of blood, and eyed the contents again, in the same way she had done so before. Fangs out, and that feeling of success on being able to procure such a thing, welling up in her.
The sounds of grunting and panting could be heard in the distance, with only a TV being played, only faintly covering it up. It was only the man's next question, which was directed at her, that stopped any attempt in immediately downing the vial of blood.
So it took him this long to make the connection. This ability of hers might have been something she had thought was unique, but since it was basically like moving a body part, although after a conscious effort to use it, she would have thought how it worked would be more obvious. But guess it couldn't be helped, since the man's people did seem to practice the use of magic.
"A little bit of both, I would say. The process is like moving a limb, which takes some adjustment, since there's also a bit of a conscious effort used."
It was more of the latter, since she doubted there was such a thing as a natural Vampire, but that was history that was too far to trace back. What she had told was going under the belief that there wasn't a method of turning into one, and it would stay that way.
Opening the vial, she had downed it of its contents, which heightened the sense of success that usually followed her. The taste was like all of the other blood she had ever tasted. It was delicious, but just something that made her desire some more of the source.
Licking her lips, she pocketed the vial, and entered into her other servant's room, after knocking on it. Even before opening the other girl's door, she already knew what was going on inside. Seeing her was only proof that she was expectedly right.
The girl was working out, wearing gear like sweat bands, and entertaining boredom with television. Though if the girl was like her at all, turning the TV on was usually just to fill the room with noise, than to actually watch whatever was broadcasting.
"Took you fucking long enough."
Hopping up from the sit-ups she had been doing, it was quite clear the girl didn't have the kind of gentleness in her eyes, which her people were usually known for. They were hardened, not as much as her other servant, but it was still noticeable.
"Why'd you bring him here?"
She had smiled, causing the pink-fleshed girl to flinch. Though it was easy to mistake it as annoyance, if you hadn't been watching carefully. Some red had touched the girl's cheeks, as her smile had given an indication it wouldn't be something she'd like.
Reaching into the very depths of his memories Piyano seemed to recall that Saiyans did indeed possess a unique characteristic that allowed them to gain powers when healed from a near death experience. Hoping he was remembering things correctly Piyano attempted to place a name to the strange trait. "I believe the ability is known as a Zenkai. Were it that the Saiyans were never born with such dangerous talents." Piyano said further shaking his head in disappointment. To a great many individuals Piyano knew that such a skill would be highly valued, yet to the Namekian it was a fools errand. Most races out in the universe did not possess regenerative capabilities such as Piyano's own and the thought of risking being beaten near to death for a vain grasp at power disgusted the man. From what Piyano recalled a Zenkai only provided power to those healed back from such injuries, recovering over time wasn't good enough. Sometimes healing tanks failed, sometimes those gifted with healing abilities couldn't save their patients. In Piyano's thoughts Saiyans seeking power through Zenkai took big risks for little gain.
Allowing the conversation to carry on away from the displeasing topic Piyano raised his brow as Rukia exclaimed that her trip to the Cold North had taken time away from pressing affairs. Admittedly the Namekian was curious as to what such affairs could be so import to the young vampire, but Piyano knew better than to ask. Such was the sole business of Ms. Date alone. "If such is the case than I hope you have at least enjoyed your time here in the north. Found enlightenment of some kind, for you have certainly enlightened me." Piyano replied as the pair walked deeper into the expansive manor. Truly Rukia had brought many items of attention to the Namekian, everything from gravity controlling machines to the existence of vampires had been unknown to the green man before today.
When the topic reached the point of Sayako, Piyano was upset to learn the woman likely would not wish to showcase her talents. The Namekian would never force the soon to be met Majin into any action against her wishes, but at the same time Piyano held a feeling that Rukia could convince her friend to put on a display no matter how the Majin would feel about it. "She must be a shy sort if she needs more communion with others. Namekian's love to talk with others, how else would we learn after all?" Piyano said, the man truly loved to speak and swap tales with other people. The feeling of shyness was common enough among Namekian children, but since most of Namek's cultures was preserved through word of mouth all Namekian's quickly grew into social beings. "If your friend requires more experience with working passed her discomforts I would be happy to assist her." Piyano added a moment later.
Suspecting they were nearing Sayako's room from the hazy sounds of voices coming down the hall Piyano watched as Rukia pulled forth her vial of his blood and simply stared into the depths of the vials contents. Rukia's fangs peaked over her bottom lip as the young woman looked longingly at the purple blood, something but her obvious desire to consume disturbed Piyano greatly. Yet Piyano himself possessed a pair of fangs, theorized to be a genetic remind for his people that they did not always only consume water. Remembering that his kind could in fact consume solid food Piyano realized he had yet to eat anything in his time on Earth. Instead the man had subconsciously stuck to his traditions and only imbibed water and snow. Before leaving Earth Piyano decided he would have to try a piece of 'food' of some kind.
Rukia's description of how using her magical mist ability worked was interesting if confusing for Piyano. Mostly because most magic utilized a form of incantation, if Rukia's talent took singularly conscious effort than her power was a mystical effect of her heritage and likely could not be learned by a non-vampire. That or more likely a similar effect could be achieved, but through a different means than the way Rukia herself accessed her talents. The woman's description itself however was helpful, her power was like breathing, it could be controlled if you set your mind to it, but otherwise was simply a background function of the species.
While Piyano pondered the specifics of Rukia's strange talent the young vamprie stopped the pair before a door that likely lead into a sleeping chamber of some kind. Loud noises could be heard through the thick wooden portal, a clear and obvious indication that the pair had arrived. Instead of simply entering or announcing their presence as expected however Piyano watched as his hostess unstopped her vial of his blood and drained the contents. Piyano's thick blood poured slowly into the woman's lips and Piyano observed how the girl licked her mouth clean after snacking. Normally such a display would have been unlikely to bother Piyano, but something about knowing the blood had been his own made the whole event stranger for the man. As if he had watched Rukia consume a piece of him, was this scene truly any different than if she had eaten one of his fingers? Deciding it was best not to dwell on the subject Piyano followed Rukia inside when his hostess pushed open the door and walked inside.
Entering into the furnished bedroom Piyano learned that the noise came from a second television, much smaller than the one in the living room of the manor Sayako's personal device was still impressive in its size and quality. Sayako herself was currently in the midst of a work out, the Majin sprung up from a routine of sit-ups as people entered into her room. The first thing Piyano noticed about Sayako was her eyes, they lacked warmth of any manner. The Majin possessed eyes that had seen hardship first hand, and had come away scared from it. Rukia being greeted with harsh language was disheartening to Piyano, but after the display put on by Maiz it was far from unexpected. Sayako's realization of Piyano's presence only seemed to make things worse as the Majin appeared both angered and uncomfortable with his being there. Rukia only seemed to smile at her friend, which brought a quick reddening to the pink-skinned young woman's cheeks momentarily. Followed by more colorful language, since Rukia did not lead the discussion this time Piyano decided he would at least attempt to calm the young woman of her nervous energy. "Hello Sayako, I am Piyano and am very pleased to meet you. Your companion Ms. Date her was hoping you would showcase some of your abilities for us."
For her, sucking the blood of someone dry was it. The numerous times she had done so in the past, the hunger that came with just drinking a bit, never failed to go away. With it, had been that feeling that she was unstoppable, as false as it was.
A Saiyan feeling something similar, is far from being a surprise. Though it was pretty laughable having to risk death, to get what this feeling that they desired. An advantage that she had over her servant, something she always enjoyed having over someone.
"That sounds right. Almost comparable to my kin's own thirst."
Still, drawback or not, it made the other girl useful. She needed people to die for her, and experiencing near death, seemed to be the forte of the girl's kin. With careful preparations and timing, this could be less of a drawback, and more of an advantage.
There goes another thing on her list of future plans. She had many of them that could be done within a given notice, but it was only the opportunity to carry it out, that she was lacking. The more exposure she had to those like the man though, the better.
"For the most part. Traveling here had been quite the journey, and hardships are known for bringing growth."
Which was true. She didn't like the cold weather up here, which speeding through only helped somewhat. The travel involved many periods of rests, and sacrifices to reach a certain milestone in distance, rather than just camping out for another few hours.
Such a life was one that she had asked for however, and there was no one that could hardly be blamed, other than herself. But the rewards and insight that she could possibly reap, were more than worth what kind of turmoil, inner or otherwise, she experienced.
"No kidding. Her way of showing it though, is like I said earlier, far from agreeable."
These warnings of what the girl was like, wasn't something be taken lightly. If he thought that Maiz was bad, what would he think about the back and forth she had with the pink-fleshed girl? Sayako was one to argue, and over the littlest things too.
For someone who's family had a military background, it wasn't anything she would expect, even knowing the girl was afraid of death. That fighting that was in her blood, needed to be something that was let out more than this closed off side of hers.
"It might be best for you to demonstrate your own magic, assuming you can. I know for sure that it would help."
The girl might have had an angry front to her, but she knew in there, she still had that curiosity that Majins seemed to have. With a little encouragement in her own way, they should be able to get the girl to go and demonstrate these talent of hers.
Things had gone the way she had expected it to, as they entered the girl's room. She really loved being right. Though she was well aware that this pleasant mood of hers, would grow more impatient, as they continued to go and talk to the girl.
That was what the blood was for It would help her deal with any disagreements of things not going her way, but there was only so much she could take, before there was no other option, but to go and use one of the girl's weaknesses and have her submit.
The man had spoken calmly, and was the one to lead this introduction. A better option than doing so herself, knowing she and the girl had been butting heads since they had met. Not enough to disrupt any progress of course, but noticeable enough to be an issue.
"And the sooner you do it, the sooner I'll allow you to join Maiz."
While the girl did care about getting her time in the gravity room, when it came to things she didn't like, she was fine with delaying such a thing. Unless she was being waited on by someone else. It must have been a thing in the military.
Hearing her own input, the girl had taken her eyes away from the man, and back onto her. Her hands had clenched and open again for a few brief moments, before staying as fists. She must have been pretty pissed. This was more than amusing for her to watch.
"You..."
Her cheeks only seemed to grow redder, as whatever was on the girl's mind, filled her thoughts. The display was what she was talking about. Whatever she was making out of this request, it was a lot more bigger than it actually should be.
The girl shook her head, stepping back until she was leaning against the wall, an arm holding her elbow. So much defiance was being shown. Though unlike her other servant, she was at least making eye contact, and somewhat answering things properly.
"What do I get out of this? What do you get out of this? You really think I won't let her wait?'
Most of the questions was directed at her, though the second could also apply to the man. None were really anything the Majin needed an answer to, since the girl had shown she was smart enough to avoid things like death. This was more of a confirmation of sorts that there was a purpose behind it all. She was that sort of person, wanting to feel as if there was no other option.
Like she had said to the girl when they had met, this wall just a bunch of unnecessary angst. One which could be seen as conceited, since it forced those involved to go through with such efforts, just to have the girl ready to face something trivial. Something human. Listening to it was enough to want to do things her way, which by this point, wouldn't be through talking.
She should consider herself actually lucky that she had already drank blood. Though nothing was truly stopping her from lunging at the girl, and sinking her teeth into that pink flesh, tasting what she wasn't able to, before the girl's body deformed into mass.
"I already showed him my forms, and he had already met Maiz. Are you really going to be the only one left out?"
Briefly, her eyes had closed in annoyance, before a look was given at the man besides her. If he didn't change her mind about this whole thing, then she really would resort to making the girl literally squirm, to get what she wanted to see out of her..
Rukia compared the Zenkai of Maiz's race to the thirst of her own people, whether the young woman meant the comparison because of the gains in power or for some other reason Piyano wasn't quite sure he agreed with the young vampire. A Saiyan's Zenkai was far from guaranteed and was usually only experienced by exceptionally strong members of the species if Piyano understood things correctly. The blood drinking of vampires lacked all the risks that Saiyan's faced and though Piyano had no idea how much power young Rukia could gain from drink the life blood of a person the Namekian felt confident the comparison didn't truly hold up. Perhaps Rukia was simply hoping for some future event that Piyano didn't understand, that or their was still much more to vampires than Piyano could even begin to imagine.
The Namek saw no benefit in arguing the point however and so Piyano made no reply to Rukia as she mused over thoughts of Maiz's potential Zenkai gains. The gentle at heart Piyano could only pray that neither of the girls Piyano had met would ever become beaten enough to experience Zenkai. Happily the pair moved on to the topic of Rukia's travel's north. It seemed the woman had dealt with hardship and stress to travel so far from her home. This was curious to Piyano as the Namekian often flew from continent to continent, planet Namek was far larger than earth and long periods of air travel were a common experience for every person who spent time upon his home world. "Are you not yet capable of flight? I often enjoy the winds of the north flying through the air. My home world has no such seasons as I have witnessed here on Earth." Piyano replied with curiosity. The Namekian had been slowly learning that humans did not enjoy the cold, but his own thick skin could barely feel the chill and only the absolute coldest of nights and storms drove Piyano to find shelter indoors.
Discussion of Sayako's shyness returned the Namekian for the reason the pair traveled towards the Majin girls room even now. Rukia seemed to believe that her friend would respond even worse than Maiz had. Piyano simply couldn't believe that, people who were shy often lashed out but also possessed the finest qualities a friend could cultivate when forced out of their comfort zones. At Rukia's suggestion that Piyano showcase his own abilities for Sayako the Namekian thought over what he could do. The man possessed to low effort skills he could 'show' Sayako, though one of them would require that the girl be injured. Having no intention of seeing harm come to the Majin Piyano decided he would start with a simple ability many of his people possessed, it might be enough to break the ice... or so Piyano believed the human expression to be.
Passing into Sayako's room the Majin did indeed come off angry and defensive, but so far she seemed far less brutish than Maiz had. Piyano had hoped his introduction would help smooth over the Majin's trepidation. For a moment Piyano thought things might stay calm, until Rukia herself spoke. Something about the way the young vampire used the word 'allow' seemed to spark fight in Sayako's eyes. The Majin's cheeks continued to burn red with embarrassment, Piyano wasn't sure what the young woman thought the pair meant, but surely nothing terrible had crossed Piyano's mind.
Stepping back from the pair Sayako took a flippant pose and returned with a angry request of her own. Sayako seemed to be directing her question mostly at Rukia, much as Maiz had. Yet this girl actually looked Piyano's way for a moment when she spoke and her question was phrased in a manner that could easily have included both her visitors. Rukia tried to convince the Majin with some more words, true facts about the pairs time training in the gravity room. When Ms. Date shot Piyano a side long glance however the Namekian took that as a hint that Rukia doubted the girl would be convinced so easily.
"If you would allow." Piyano began, phrasing his words in a manner that he would not use to address a child, but a adult. "I am a man who simply wishes to learn, and perhaps make a new friend? Rukia tells me you spend much of your time alone, I too often feel alone here on this planet." Piyano said hoping to reach through Sayako's defensive wall of shy anger. Thinking now a good time to display a small amount of the magic his own people possessed Piyano concentrated and reached out with his thoughts to the pink skinned Majin woman."If you wish to speak privately, I am more than able to speak in ways young Ms. Date can not hear." Piyano telepathically imparted to Sayako. The Namekian could not read the Majin's thoughts with such an ability, he could only hear what Sayako wished for him to hear inside her own mind and Piyano gifted the young woman this knowledge. Hoping that a reaffirmation of the woman's privacy remaining intact would help the woman to trust him more.
"It is true, Ms. Date has shown me her impressive mist and bat transformation. It is also true that I have met the young Maiz." Piyano said out loud this time to include Rukia in on the conversation, and also so that his hostess wouldn't catch on to the man's psychic introduction to Sayako. Piyano didn't find speaking telepathically wrong in any manner, but it was possible his hostess could be offended that Piyano had tried to speak in a way that would exclude the vampire from the conversation. "Tell you what more, I say even reveal some of my own tricks if it pleases you." Piyano added as his body slowly levitated into the air. Piyano went no higher than a foot off the floor of the fine manor and spun a quick circle before landing back in place upon his feet
Reaching out his hand Piyano offered the attentions of all in the room to Sayako, doing what he could to give the young woman a chance to prove herself better mannered than Maiz had been.
The idea that she didn't have the ability to fly using ki, was one that had been brought up before in the past, by even her servants. It was a bit humiliating, but as useful as ki was to have, that kind of energy didn't need to be used for flying.
Her form as a bat, although took more effort and exertion, did the job just fine. The speed she had on land, worked mostly the same while she was in the air of this form, though it didn't mean she could keep going without rest. She still had her limits.
Wasn't a bad thing either. It was more of a sign that she was still able to improve and be better. Should she ever reach the point where she had more power than anyone else could handle, the only thing that would be left for her, was to test it.
To find someone who was capable of at least not immediately dying, in such a scenario. If not, then that part of her life would be sorely something she would missed. Maybe even enough for her to go and raise a successor that could give her a challenge.
Such a fate was a cliche one, but for one to be in such a situation, she would hardly say she would care about how expected it was. Human or not, people needed something to motivate them. A purpose to continue living the life they had paved, and more.
"It's just the weather. I'm not used to this kind of climate."
Revealing the method of travel he was talking about, still wasn't something she saw benefiting to do. Nor was it necessary at all. What she was saying though wasn't a lie. West City was a place that had a wasteland right outside of its area.
It didn't exactly bring the same heat into the city, with the way technology worked, and how air flowed around, but it was still a lot different than coming up here north. Her two servants somewhat understood why she needed the periodic rest, though they could handle a lot tougher conditions than she could, being from space and all. But she could care less about being better at that.
The man had spoken up, and in a way that she was able to see, had that usual respect of his. To have her servant be given an option to do so, when there really wasn't any, if she had a say in things. The girl would either do as requested, or have to fight.
He told the girl what she didn't doubt was true, and were words that likely would have eased her too. It was just that sincere, but also wishful thinking. Those she invited into her manor, she always had a purpose for doing so, or something to get out of it. What she had in store for the man could wait until after it was time to see him go. And things weren't exactly going fast enough.
What he said about her revelation of the girl, had only caused a glare to be shot at her, but no words had been said to neither the man, or her. She only watched as the girl seemed to flinch, looking back at the man, which prompted her into raising an eyebrow.
Was she really feeling the weight the man's words had? If she was that vulnerable when she was pissed, then they needed to change that. The girl was usually a fighter, even with these kind of moments. But for her, stubborn was more of a good thing than bad.
The man spoke again, rather than her servant, where he continued to confirm what she had already said, before finishing by offering the girl another choice. There was really no other words that could have been said, which they could use. Only her other methods.
She looked expectantly at the other girl, who clenched her fists again, but in the end, seemed to agree. A hand placed over her face in what was clear annoyance, the girl had looked around the room, where she had gone and followed with her own gaze.
"Fine, whatever. Just fuck off when you keep your end of the deal."
Again, the latter part seemed to be directed more to her than towards the man. Following where the girl was looking at, seemed to be a shirt that was left lying around ontop of other clothing. Probably what the girl meant to change into after her workout.
She still found it curious that even though the girl could just mold her flesh into clothing, her servant still opted on wearing actual ones whenever possible. The piece of clothing was grabbed with a stretch of her limbs, before turning to them.
It was just an ordinary shirt. Nothing really special, and more for wearing to bed, than anything else. But it was clear it was presented to them for a reason. If she had to guess, the girl was going to go and display her chocolate ability first.
"I'll turn this into chocolate, before the other annoying stuff."
After those words were spoken, the girl had stepped up more, a mix of a frown and nervousness on her face. The latter of which could likely be attributed to whatever she had been so embarrassed about. Ki could be seen being concentrated at the tip of the girl's antenna, which she had gone and turn around to see, that blush coming back to her servant's face as she did.
And then, moving her head fully forward as if she had meant to nod, a beam of energy had been shot out at the shirt, turning it into chocolate. The piece of candy was roughly about the height of the shirt, rather than the width. There didn't seem to be any tricks to it either, as the girl had gone and offered the piece to both of them, that frown of hers still present.
She broke one off and tasted it for herself, proving that the transformed piece of clothing, did really turn into chocolate, with no apparent differences from the real substance. What wasn't eaten, was placed onto a plate, from an earlier snack.
"I'm only going to do the stupid stuff once, so pay attention."
Bringing her hands out, they had deformed until it had became nothing more than a flesh of mass, like that of bubblegum. But the girl wasn't done. Keeping her hands deformed, the clothing her servant was wearing, had noticeably turned into flesh as well.
The tanktop the girl had been wearing, was changed into the shirt that had been turned into chocolate, which was still evidently on the plate. As soon as it had formed however, the girl had completely gone and turned her entire body into a flesh of mass, reforming as quickly as she could, after a couple of seconds or so. There was still that frown on, and her face was even redder.
What reason the girl had though, she understood it now, watching the girl deform and reform her body. Wasn't important enough to really address, but her grin was enough of an indication to the girl that she knew. And that was what pissed the Majin off.
"If you don't have anything else to say or show, it's best to take our leave."
She had told the man, once he was seemingly either done doing his own display, or asking any questions. A wave was given to her servant, before she had walked out of the room, where she would start to lead the man to the front doors. Throughout the whole display, she had kept silently, but for no particularly special reason, other than being amused the girl had actually submitted.
Anything else the man had to personally say to her or ask, this would be it.
(Note: Sayako mentally said, "I'm fine. I don't need your help." before going on to start things.)
Ms. Date gave out a reply that she simply wasn’t a fan of the northern weather. Piyano found this response interesting simply because of what Rukia had revealed herself to be to the Namekian guest. The young girl was a vampire and her level of power was currently much higher than his own, yet she still could succumb to the discomfort of northern chill and snow. Piyano would have expected the young woman’s answer from a human, but hadn’t expected to learn that simple low temperatures would affect a being such as Rukia in any manner at all. For a brief moment Piyano wished he knew of vampires on his own planet so that the unique species could be studied further, but his thoughts quickly decided such a wish was foolish. No need to wish blood drinking powerhouses upon his home planet after all.
When Piyano had introduced himself too Sayako and tried his hand at breaching the pink skinned Majin’s wall of shyness, the Namekian was beginning to notice that this poor girl didn’t seem to often be presented with the option of choice. Sayako’s hesitance and constant glances at Rukia was leaving the green alien to believe that perhaps these two were not ‘friends’. Rukia had described her companions as servants at least once in the man’s time within the mansion. Piyano had always taken the term as a meaning of status, rich Rukia was superior. Such a thought was still true, but now Piyano was beginning to view things in a darker light…
Suddenly the Namekian felt soft thoughts inside his mind, the foreign way the projection of words formed inside his head clearly revealed that Sayako had accepted his mental link and chosen to communicate with him. The Majin’s reply was short and forward, she didn’t need or want Piyano’s help. Whatever arrangement was playing out between Rukia and Sayako was a strange mystery to Piyano; even though the Namek felt confident he would find something sinister happening behind the scenes if he looked to deeply into things. Sayako had instructed him to stay out of things however and the Namekian would gladly do as the Majin wished, the young woman had her own life to live after all.
Offering up some of the abilities of his own people as another bridge to breach the gap between them, Piyano was pleasantly surprised when Sayako agreed to show off her talents. So much so that a smile lit his features, even with the anger filled response Sayako seemed to shoot more Rukia’s way than Piyano’s own. Watching with deep interest as Sayako moved to recover a shirt off of a mound of clothing that littered the room Sayako exclaimed that she would turn the article of fashion into chocolate. On Namek chocolate was a nonexistent staple, at least until humans had established small settlements on the fringes of the planet. Knowing of the sweet dark substance Piyano could only nod in anticipation to witness such a display of magical talent.
Sayako wore both a frown and a blush as she readied herself for the technique, nervous energy came off the pink girl in waves. Flipping her antenna forward Piyano marveled at the pink beam of energy that came forth to convert the shirt held in the woman’s hand to a long piece of chocolate. Piyano himself possessed two antenna, though they were shorter than Sayako’s own, firing beams from the appendages was a common act among Namekian. What wasn’t common was the effects of Sayako’s beam. Breaking off a piece of the offered chocolate Piyano ate simply not to be rude to his hostesses, the alien normally refrained from eating solid food but to not do so now seemed preposterous to Piyano.
Slowly chewing the sweet material in his mouth Piyano nodded his understanding as Sayako moved on to her next display. First was the girl’s hands, than her clothes, finally every part of Sayako deformed into a mass of flesh and changed back into the form she had worn at the start. Such complete control of one's own body was mesmerizing to Piyano, Namekian’s could stretch their limbs and grow their muscles, but his species could do nothing as amazing as what Sayako had just displayed. If Namekian healing and physical abilities were a step above most than Majin’s were a full leap beyond them and so even as Sayako blushed from her display Piyano found himself clapping.
“Such control is wonderful, with training you could likely take the form of water or mist. Look like anyone you desire to look like, even adapt to live in any environment. You truly possess a wondrous talent lady Sayako.” Piyano said when it was all over, Rukia beside him voiced that it was the pair's time to depart than. Only nodding his agreement Piyano wished Sayako a proper goodbye and walked out beside Rukia. From there the pair walked toward the exit Piyano spending much time thinking over the many wonders he had seen and things he had learned within Rukia’s manor, at least until the pair reached the front door.
“Well Ms. Date, you have provided a stranger a wonderful time within your walls. I truly hope that you shall come to think of me as a friend.” Piyano said as he began his goodbye for the young woman who had taken him in for several hours, offered training, and truly widened his horizons. The Namekian was no fool, he knew Rukia possessed a motive behind everything that had taken place this day; but Rukia had not revealed herself to be evil in Piyano’s eyes. Any soul that could possess goodness within deserved the chance to let such feelings blossom and Piyano could only hope that with time Rukia and her ‘servants’ would become a force for righteousness. “I should hope that I will one day meet you again Ms. Date, you are clearly going to go far in this life. I can only pray I get to see where you wind up in the end.” Piyano finished with a respectful bow to the young vampire.
With that Piyano gave the woman time to say anything she wished, than turned to leave the young woman’s manor. Cracking open the door Piyano was treated to a light snowfall which cast fat flakes about the fields of the Cold North. Thing’s looked as if it was going to be a beautiful night.

The man's clapping, although was meant in good faith to her servant's display, had also in a way given a different meaning. Given the right look at the girl, the man's response could have been seen as one meant to mock her. While he might not have been the type to give such a look, which she and the girl had both knew, the same couldn't have been said for her. It was just a smile, nothing different from the last few, but it still got on the girl's nerves.
She could feel it in the air, as their eyes made contact, but again, nothing more had been done beyond a glare. It would change after their guest had left, though the girl would have to wait a couple of hours, while she went and relaxed her muscles. She deserved such a break, after being so hospitable.
"Yeah, thanks."
Her servant had responded, not exactly with disinterest, as she would have thought, though still rather quick nonetheless. Was she really that eager to be alone? She would certainly get that wish, but these exchanges of theirs should have been clear they would have to talk about such behavior.
Especially when considering that her other servant spent a lot less time delaying what they all knew was inevitable. All of this back and forth of hers, could have saved a lot of time, if introductions had just been done right. The longer it took, the less hours they had in the day for other affairs.
The door had been shut behind them, after they had both left, and as she led the man around, she found it amusing how he seemed to have been able to read the mood. Questions she had offered for him to ask, if he had any at all, they hadn't really been brought up. Wouldn't have certainly pleased the other girl, but part of showing hospitality, was not caring what her servants really thought. What she needed of them, she would get in the end.
But whether or not he did or he didn't have any burning questions in him, she rather move onto more pressing affairs. There was still coming out with the proposal she had in mind, and had been working up to, unlike previous attempts in meeting her servants. She just needed a little more display of thanks.
"I agree, your company has been nice."
Friend wasn't a word she used lightly. For someone who she was also hoping to recruit to her cause, that was even more so. Those who resided in the mansion with her, were treated as inferior beings. Their behavior was allowed to differ in times of peace like now, but when it came to certain danger, she expected there to be synergy. Her words had also been phrased in a way that would allow her to lead into her proposal, should he have nothing else to say.
But he had. She was further complimented on what she had displayed to him, while also seeming to hint that there was a chance he could die, before she could truly relax in a position of power. Strange, but she could only smile rather than respond. There was no avoiding or rephrasing her words to accommodate his own. As they had gotten to the front door of the mansion, the man had stopped, and she knew that this was her chance to propose the offer she wanted.
"Before you go, I would like to offer a chance to reside here permanently. I've seen enough during our spar to know you can handle those two, and perhaps being around, they'll be used to more proper manners."
It wasn't that she couldn't do so alone, but rather the idea that the process could go quicker, with their being two similar individuals. And when she had said it was an offer, she had meant it. She didn't know enough about the man's people to truly force him into submission, if he were to really decline.
Though one thing that should have been implied, was that if this invitation was to be rejected, the only future welcome should they ever meet again, wouldn't be a friendly one. She had no interest in any peaceful or alternative methods she knew he would likely offer her instead of what she proposed.
When it came to her servants, she needed a certain control over them. If she had told them to jump off a cliff for her, they needed to be loyal enough to ask which one. Anything less than that would be more than unacceptable, and a waste of her time and effort. Something to prove why it was inferior.
As the man had given his answer, walking back out into the cold, she had sighed.
