The Jackal Demon wondered why he even bothered entering this tournament to begin with. He couldn't possibly compete with the fighters of this generation yet. What even was the point? He supposed checking out the competition on this planet, this universe even, was a good idea though. Perhaps he could gauge just how outclassed he really was. Perhaps he could even get lucky and score a good match. A good fight would help him hone his skills further. He didn't bother wearing his Weighted Jewels on his armor for this tournament, as he held a high enough disadvantage as it was. There was no need to restrict his body when he was fighting what to him would be giants. He meditated in the confines of the Tournament arena as he awaited for his name to be called, a thin aura of dark, midnight blue surrounding the outline of his body. Floating mid-air with his legs crossed and his hands pressed up against one another he began to calm his mind and his Ki. There was no telling what was to come, for the Jackal Demon knew nothing of the opponent with whom he had drawn in the lots. "Keep your cool... your soul will be measured. It's time to see: what can I truly do?" he thought in the recesses of his mind. The time had come.
"Next up we have Heizen, the "Jackal Demon" facing off against Artikone! This is the first time Heizen has ever entered the competition, but I think you all can agree he at the very least LOOKS tough!" she introduced him. She followed up talking about his opponent, but he couldn't quite make it out as he didn't care all too much. Walking out, the humans of Earth Realm all stared at him in all of his glory. The tall, Jackal humanoid demon was approximately six-feet-tall. His brown pigmentation being confused for fur, though he had a humanoid build. He was well-built for a man his size, his core showcasing what Earth's residents called a "six-pack". He wore nothing today to cover his torso as certain items were forbidden. On his arms he carried decorative rings and basic forearm bands. He wore his usual dark yellow shorts and boots for his feet. One little girl in the audience cried, "PUPPY!" while flinging her arms reaching for him even though she was many yards away. Her mother hushed her to stop, feeling embarrassed for the disruption. With his ears the young Demon perked in curiosity at the term. "....Da hell is a puppy?" he wondered to himself. He found such a thing strange, but let it not disturb his slow, confident walk toward the white-tiled arena floor. As he stared at the floor only one question came to mind. What could such an arena be made out of? Hopefully something sturdy for the fights. It must have been.
The people were hushed as the Jackal made his way across, studying him and murmuring to themselves.
Perhaps he was interesting to them. But they were not interested him. The one who had yet to arrive however, peaked his curiosity. He lie in wait for the opponent, his arms crossed and his expression blank. Who was this person he was destined to fight?
[OOC: I purposely left the announcer's introduction for you blank so you could take control of what she says XD You know what she might say about you better than I do. Hope we have a good match. ^_^]
