Tomina had lugged the unconscious Tarro upstairs into her room. It was a fairly open space with a wooden wardrobe, dresser, and king sized bed. Tomina didn’t have the time to really stylize her room. She lay the unconscious Saiyan down on the bed, looking the Saiyan up and down. She did do her best to hold back on him, even when she was going all out. But there were still a few minor burn marks from where her sword made contact with his skin. Tomina quickly removed his upper clothing, leaving his chest bare. Tomina grinned at what she saw. Oh my, this is a nice view. A very nice view indeed.
Tomina licked her lips at the sight before him. Like all Saiyans, Tarro was in very good shape. No doubt a result of all the training and battling their race was known for. His chest was toned, but not overly muscular. It was perfect for a guy of his stature. Tomina thought that being too muscular wouldn’t fit this guy well at all. Still, she couldn’t let it distract her. Tomina knelt on the floor, and pulled out a first aid kit from beneath her bed. In a very short order, Tomina applied an ointment to his burns and covered up his injuries with bandages. It was sure to sting him a little when he woke up, but it was for his own good.
Once she was done patching him up, Tomina went over to the dresser and pulled out some undergarments from her drawer, and a black robe from her wardrobe. She then walked into her bathroom, locking the door behind her. The sound of running water could be heard.
An half hour later, Tomina emerged from the bathroom, wearing her black robe. Her brown hair was slightly damped, but had been brushed out so that it hung out straight behind her. She turned her head and looked towards one of her windows. Both suns had set, and it was now night. Tomina looked over at Tarro, a lecherous smile spreading across her lips. Hopefully he wouldn’t remain knocked out for much longer. Then the night could get very interesting for the both of them.
Tarro had been knocked out many a times in his life. It was commonplace for him to be knocked out in a fight - it was part of the warrior's life after all. To fight to the very utmost of his ability- to push his body to its breaking point over and over. He had been pushing himself for the entirety of his life. He remembered this last fight - he remembered being pushed around like a rag doll by someone much stronger than him. The woman. Her taunts reverberated in his mind. She was a blunt woman, a talkative woman. She was a hybrid. One of those Elemi and Saiyan hybrids that existed. She was rough. But she had helped him in a way, had she not? She helped him transform into a Super Saiyan. He had finally become master of all the anger, built, and rage that had been boiling inside of him for months following his trauma. Following the loss of his home world he had lost his way. He had stopped fighting seriously. He had stopped training. He had gotten lost in his grief, but she had helped him find his way again. Perhaps it was because she reminded him of someone he had lost in the disaster. She was tough. She was bratty. She was like Aru.
Aru was his Captain, the person he admired and wanted to surpass more than anyone. She was harsh with his training but still tried to help nurture him to be the warrior he was meant to be. He was sure if she could see him now she'd be ashamed of his fallen grace, and beat the shit out of him herself to get him back in shape (but not before lecturing him on his mistakes).
Tarro was bare-chested as his toned, fit body lay on the bed covered in bandages and such. He wondered how that happened. None of the Brenchian slaves he dealt with would have bothered to help him to that extent. The Saiyan was waking up in darkness - finally coming to once more from unconsciousness. His eyes slowly opened. Where was he? The first question on his mind. He searched the room for a bit in an effort to gain some semblance of his surroundings. It wasn't long until his eyes noticed the woman from before - but she wasn't in the same outfit that she was last time....

Tomina still had that grin on her face when Tarro woke up. She was glad that he had recuperated quickly. It would have been boring if she would have had to wait the entire night.
"Welcome back to the world of the living! I did try and hold back a little bit, even while going out. Even so, I'm surprised you regained consciousness this early. Anyway, welcome to my humble abode! I didn't know if you stayed in the normal barracks or had your own place. It would have been degrading for you if I had just dumped your unconscious body in front of the other soldiers, so I brought you here and patched you up a bit. And as I'm sure you've noticed, I've freshened myself up a bit as well."
Tomina turned around and jumped backwards onto the bed, bouncing a couple of times before she settled into the mattress. She never took her eyes off Tarro the entire time though.
"Besides, it would have been a shame to let a brave warrior such as yourself freeze to death in an alleyway after just turning Super Saiyan. That would be a pathetic ending for someone who recently survived the destruction of his planet. The name's Tomina, by the way. You don't have to tell me your name if you don't want to. Although if you don't I'm just going to keep on calling you something like "pineapple head" or "broom hair." I gotta call you something after all."
Tomina's grin had shifted to a more mischievous one. She wasn't going to rush into things. He had just woken up and was likely very disoriented. She wanted to make Tarro feel comfortable before she tried convincing him into doing some strenuous, albeit fun activities.
Tarro felt.. weird. His body ached all over with burns and bruises. And now here he was in some place he didn’t know with the woman who attacked him. She was dressed in some rather.. interesting garments. His eyes couldn’t help but wander every one so glances, though he maintained his attention on his surroundings as much as possible. He felt dizzy. He didn’t know what was going on. Perhaps he had hit his head hard upon being knocked out. As he was trying to get his bearings - she spoke. It seemed as if she was glad that he was well (though the term did seem only relative at this point). Her cheerful demeanor was strange to him. Like a child, he thought before she began talking to him a lot. He wondered how she could fit so many words at once without needing a breath, though he supposed that he himself was a man of few words. Perhaps it was merely the stark contrast that made it seem so strange to him. He stayed silent at first as she rambled on to him.
She was holding back when she hit him? His body was aching all over. It felt like several things were broken and several parts of his skin were charred. Everything hurt right now, and the Saiyan was no stranger to pain. So what the hell would he have felt if she hadn’t!? He supposed nothing… he would just be dead as a doornail. Instead he had fallen unconscious. That much was certain. As she continued on he listened. She hadn’t known where to put him, and so chose to bring him to her place to rest (even going so far as to patch him up despite not knowing his name). That was… nice of her. She hadn’t needed to do that, but chose to do so anyway. Not that he needed the help… She also brought attention to her state. So clearly the outfit was intentional. His mind wasn’t jumping to conclusions. He leaned his back against the wall as he got up a bit, closing his eyes briefly as pain circulated throughout the entirety of his body, before he found his eyes staring into hers. “Thank you,” he said. “For bringing me here I mean, fixing me up.” Tarro then looked away. Looking at her too long was hard, his instincts would cause his eyes to wander far too much. It was especially hard when she bounced onto the bed, as other things would bounce with her that were hard to ignore. He earnestly tried not to think about it.
She continued again to speak to him, rambling on and on. But he listened. She seemed to consider him valuable for some reason by the way she spoke. Though he supposed Super Saiyans were still very rare in this day and age. There were some, but it was still only a fraction of their race that was capable of such things. She gave her name finally. Tomina. Despite her transformations being more akin to the elemi – her name was of Saiyan origin. As he had thought- she was a Hybrid. Arres had been a hybrid as well – though his transformation of Super Saiyan was pure. Perhaps it was because he had been part earthling.
She said he didn’t have to give his name, but with her taking care of her and having just beaten him up – he didn’t agree. As she made jokes about calling him nicknames based off his hair – the Saiyan stayed quiet. He didn’t like thinking of Arres, and that’s what that did for him. He used to make the same jokes. She was like the love child of Arres and Captain Aru by the way she acted to him. She had Aru’s strong presence combined with Arres’ humor. “Tarro,” he said. “My name is Tarro.”
Perhaps he had found a little piece of home in this strange, dangerous hybrid. He had come to Saiya to gather with the other Saiyans after all – hybrid or pure. This was good for him. Perhaps she could help him move on from the tragedy, and focus on his vengeance...

“You’re a Saiyan comrade. I’m not just going to let a fellow Saiyan warrior to drown themselves in booze and fall a hundred feet to the ground. You would have done the same if you were in my position. If you didn't, I’d come flying up and beat the shit out of you before throwing you to ground like a meteor. But you wouldn’t let a gal like me fall a hundred feet, right?”
Tomina scooted closer to him, the grin fading away from her face. She still appeared to be in high spirits though, going from her demeanor. She stopped moving with she was three feet away from him.
“Tarro eh? That’s a good name. That’s a pity. Now I’ll have to use that one instead of pineapple head. I was looking forward to calling you that.”
Tomina grinned at him, swinging her legs back and forth over the edge of the bed. It didn’t seem like Tomina could stay still for very long. Although maybe her current behavior was circumstantial.
“I did my best to make sure everything was not lethal, although my fire isn’t very forgiving. Still, those burns shouldn’t last too long. You’re welcome to spend the night if you want to. If you feel like walking out still wounded like a badass I’m not going to stop you. Although I’d preferred it if you stuck around. This big house gets lonely sometimes, so having some company over is nice.”
Tomina bent back, stretching her arms over her head. With how close Tarro was to her, it gave her an ample view of her cleavage. Her breasts were far from the biggest out there, but it was clear that she wasn’t wearing a bra under the robe. The Saiyan hybrid sat up straight again, looking at Tarro with….. interest? She kept her eyes on his, her gaze not wavering in the slightest.
Tarro was quiet as she explained herself. She wouldn't let a Saiyan fall like that after fighting a glorious battle - which made sense. It means he had earned her respect. She may be a hybrid, but she had a good sense of true Saiyan qualities in her. Whatever the others might say - she was a true Saiyan warrior. The former Elite never did care about blood and parentage, but this case in particular did not seem to matter. She was more of a Saiyan than many of the pure blooded here. He was sure of that. He smirked at her question, looking back at her as he answered her question meanly. "Heh. Depends how annoying you were," he said, his words blunt and rude. But there was a dry humor in them, as evident by the single dry chuckle that accompanied it. It was more mean for sure, but it was his own version of talking to people. He enjoyed a back and forth dialogue of wit and jabs. Perhaps it was his Saiyan nature that made even conversation seem like a battle.
The bed creaked slightly as she inched closer across the bed. She spoke his name in her mouth seemingly pleased, though she seemed adamant on trying to tease him about the pineapple head himself. "Guess you missed your chance," he replied. His smirk faded. The name pineapple head was hard to hear, though he tried to remain composed at it's mention. His eyes watched as her legs swung back and forth so giddily. He raised an eyebrow at the spectacle. Why was she having such a hard time standing still? Or sitting still rather. She spoke about the damage not meaning to be lethal, but her fire being unforgiving. "I've often heard the Elemi's power is volatile, hard to control. It's what makes them such formidable warriors- their explosive ki overwhelming most fighters by sheer offensive pressure. Even the strongest barrier would have some trouble trying to contain an Elemi they say," he said. Now he was the one rambling. Perhaps a part of him was just nervous by the situation. The burns would fade in time both with the Saiyan's natural healing factor being faster than an Earthling's and he assumed because the ki would dissolve from his body.
And then she offered him to stay the night. He might have a slight concussion from the aftermath of that fight, but he was pretty sure what that meant. The implications were rather obvious- the more she spoke the less subtle they were. Naturally his eyes wandered - peering at her figure in its rather tempting circumstance, the exposed flesh and curvature enough to tempt any sane man. His heart raced slightly. It wasn't as if there wasn't an attraction. She was beautiful, a rare beauty in these parts. She had a strange energy to her that he sometimes found pleasant (though sometimes not so).
But something was holding him back. And so he was silent. His eyes peered up at hers - staring into them. They were eyes of conflict. He didn't know what to say or do. Just what was going on?

Tomina smirked at Tarro’s remark. It was certainly an improvement from how he was acting in the bar earlier. Nothing wrong with him getting his confidence back. But she wasn’t going to be outdone.
“You better get used to this, cause I’m not changing for anyone. If you want to have comrades that won’t annoy you with their quirks, then maybe being a Saiyan isn’t a good fit for you. Besides, what would be a rather cruel thing for you to do, letting a beautiful Saiyan woman plummet hundreds of feet to the ground. You wouldn’t let that happen to me, would you?”
Tomina batted her eyelashes at him, giving him an over exaggerated pout. Tomina did like to ease into this kind of situation usually. Besides, it was boring if she outright decided to tell someone about doing what she wanted to do right now. For now, she continued her conversation with the young Saiyan male.
“Some Elemi are like that, yes. Their elements vary, so what they’re capable of varies too. The majority of them aren’t strong enough to pose a threat to our strongest warriors though. You’d probably wouldn’t have much trouble with most of them with how you are now.”
Tomina then grinned at Tarro, scooting back and tucking her legs in as she moved further onto the bed. It was time for her to turn up the heat a bit.
"I do appreciate the compliments you’re giving me. Volatile, overwhelming, formidable warrior. You’re quite the smooth talker Tarro. And I am the kind of person who gets.. riled up after a good fight. You fought bravely tonight, so maybe I should give you a reward. I can show you how overwhelming I can be.”
Tomina purred, stretching out and laying down on her side, looking at Tarro with an eager gleam in her eyes. She was on full display for him now, her form only covered by the robe she was now wearing. She had not failed to notice how he had looked at her throughout the entire conversation. He wasn’t being obvious and looking at her for long periods of time like Carva did, but he was certainly checking her out. She was sure that with just a little more pushing, she was going to have another fun night with a partner. It was going to be a fun ride, and she was now making it clear to Tarro what kind of ride it would be.
Tarro chuckled lightly in amusement from her response, though wordy. She was definitely the stubborn type who had to have her way. He doubted any man or woman could change her if they tried. She was certainly cocky about her looks, not that the former Elite could blame her. She surely could get any man into her bed if she tried hard enough. He wasn't stupid. He recognized her beauty. "I wouldn't let a fellow Saiyan fall, no," he said, his expression turning serious, his eyes staring back at hers. Her pout was cute, despite its insincerity. He wasn't sure how he felt about this game she was playing with him. It was fun, but there was something off about it to him. He had had these interactions multiple times, and every time they ended well.
He listened as she spoke about the other half of her heritage - the Elemi. It was true there were many types. Light, Lightning, Fire, Ice, Wind. They were a truly unique breed, but the only ones he had ever come across were Fire and Lightning Elemi. "Maybe...," Tarro responded to her compliment. They were fearsome warriors. "Last I heard... Jarvis has two Elemi under his faction that are supposed to be pretty fearsome, almost as strong as a Super Saiyan...," the Saiyan recalled from his Alliance intelligence days. They would give him trouble, especially in a two-on-one encounter. He could picture fighting them, being overwhelmed as they ganged up on him with their fearsome offensive power. His mind constantly thinking about Jarvis' forces. Every single target he had to kill fresh in his mind always and circulating. There was much of his organization that he did not yet know, but he intended to find out. Every person who affiliated with that miserable rooster-sucking false god would feel his wrath. His training would be relentless until his goal became a reality.
His attention was brought back to the present on Tomina - her tone changing into a more intimate, soft texture. She was hitting on him - her words of a more suggestive nature. His gaze into her eyes deep, noticing the gleaming eagerness in them. His eyes briefly trailed the soft, suggestive skin that the robe teased to him in its enticing pose. Truthfully he wanted too. His body responding, telling him to forget everything and to just do it. It seemed like it would be the most glorious night, full of fun and pleasure. She was unlike any girl he'd known thus far. But that annoying doubt creeped into him, a void inside of him making him hesitate. More than hesitate. It was inhibiting him. Why was he afraid? He'd lay with women before in all sorts of ways. It wasn't that he was inexperienced or unsuited for it.
And that's when it happened. He saw the problem.
It was all the ghosts. Her shape, her curves morphed into that of his former instructor and friend staring at him with that same animal gaze. The soft skin turning into her shade instead of Tomina's. And it was weird to him, why did his mind jump to her?
Because they were so similar. And it made him panic...his eyes staring into hers as he didn't know what to do. What to say.
He would wince in pain as he turned on his side, but worked through the pain. His eyes directly staring into hers as she stared back. He put his hand on her side- leaning in as his eyes were staring even more intimately into hers."Alright...fuck it... let's have some fun," he would say, before he pressed his lips against hers. The taste of her lips being wonderfully enticing - a rush coursing through the nerves all across his body. He could not fight the urge. He had wanted this. And so they would have their glorious night, their post-fight pleasure. Neither would forget it, recalling it amusingly when they were both old and nostalgic.
They would wake up in the morning refreshed and cheerful, maybe even having a little more fun before the two of them struggled to find their clothes. They would leave the room, go out and share a meal before going their own separate ways - each of them having their own training to get back too as they went about their duties. They would both know what it was and had been and wouldn't let themselves get caught up in Earthling notions. Perhaps they would stoop to stopping for a little chit-chat before if they were bored perhaps. They'd see each other when they did, exchange a glance every now and again as the sight of the other's face reminded them of their glorious night.
But he didn't.
There he was back in that moment - the two staring at each other as Tarro lay on his side. Tarro's mind pictured it all in a flash, mere seconds fading in reality. That Tarro probably would have really enjoyed her company and the night that came with it. But he couldn't do it. There was too much going on in his head. "I.... don't think I can do this," he said, squinting with a sour face.
And so they just sat there.
"If that means you want me to leave I can fly out the window," he softly offered to her.

Tomina was sure that she had him. All she had to do a little more pushing, and they would have quite the wild night together. Although that’s not what happend. When he told her that he couldn’t think that he could do that kind of thing with her, she looked at him with disbelief. He was actually turning her down? This…..was something Tomina was not used to at all. What happened? She could tell that he wanted to do it, but something was conflicting him. She could see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice. No, she could get any guy she wanted. She convince any guy to spend a night with her, and Tarro would be no different. She would just have to take a slightly different approach, that was all. Tomina moved to the other side of the bed, crawling up and pulling down the covers a bit.
“I’m not going to force you to leave no matter what you do. You’re my guest for the night, and I’m not kicking you out there when you have those burns on you or without a shirt. I haven’t really prepared this place for guests who don’t fancy sharing a bed with me though. You can take a pillow and blanket and use one of the training mats downstairs as a place to sleep if you want. I have some more blankets in the closet. Still, you’re free to share my bed anytime you want to tonight. If I’m asleep, don’t worry about waking me up.”
Tomina then slid under the covers, pulling the blanket over herself. She reached down and untied her robe. She slipped it off, dropping it down off the side of a bed. She was now staring at Tarro with a very alluring smile. All that was between Tarro and Tomina were the bed covers. All he had to do was toss them aside and she was his for the night. There was no way he could resist her now. At least, that’s what Tomina believed anyway. After all, what guy in his right mind would sleep in an uncomfortable position just to avoid sleeping with a beautiful woman?
Tarro hated himself for the way he was acting. Why was he ruining such a great opportunity for himself? WHY WAS HIS MIND GETTING IN THE WAY HERE? This was truly a first for the former Saiyan Elite. He didn't think he was the guy who could refuse a good time. Yet here he was. As she crawled down to the covers - her voice full of disappointment but acceptance - the Saiyan listened to her words. She wasn't going to kick him out, though the Saiyan elite admitted she had the right to do so. She was only kicking him off of her bed, which was more than fair. He wouldn't want to sleep next to someone on his bed who didn't have any interest in sleeping with him. Pleasure was usually a part of such things after all. He nodded in response, but then as she began to settle in his eyes perceived the most alerting thing.
Her robe falling onto the ground - her eyes leering at him with an predatory smile. Though the Saiyan's face did not show it - this admittedly had him flustered. She really was trying to pressure him into this- though he didn't know why that surprised him. She had been pushy from the moment they first met. His eyes couldn't help but gaze across at the sheet- his mind taunting him with the thought, the picture of what might lay underneath. "Nononono,"he thought to himself in a panic. "Think of something else! SOMEONE ELSE!"He wasn't ready for what his mind decided to jump too.... his eyes closing out of embarrassment as he tried to avoid looking at Tomina.
The God King himself - Jarvis in his Super Saiyan Rose Form back when he and Komatsu fought on Natto... and that about did it. Suddenly his mind was clear of all desires - and returned to rage and anger. While he maintained the image, he got off the bed with his eyes still closed and focused. He strolled over to the closet, grabbing the items from them that he needed. The pillow and blanket in one hand each as he walked back. He lay one sheet against the floor of the bed and then crawled down before resting his head on the pillow and turning on the side away from where Tomina was. He was content sleeping like this. The Saiyan stayed quiet, trying his hardest to ignore her over there....

Tomina was certain that Tarro would throw aside the covers and enjoy himself with her the entire night. Instead Tarro looked like he was trying his hardest to resist. Then he closed his eyes and… walked over to the closet? Tomina stared wide eyed as he got out the supplies that she mentioned were there and lay down on the floor. She peered down at him, looking at him like he was insane. Then she shrugged her shoulders.
“If you want to be squeamish about things, that’s fine by me. You’ll come up here once you realize that sleeping on the floor is actually uncomfortable. My bed is open to you all night. I’ll use my body heat to keep you warm.”
Tomina purred out to him, reaching over and turning off her lamp. The room was plunged into complete darkness. There was the sound of Tomina rustling underneath the covers, before something soft landed on Tarro’s face. Tomina had taken off her panties and thrown them at the Saiyan male. She chuckled to herself, closing her eyes and settling in on her bed. She expected Tarro to come up there shortly. No man could resist her knowing that she was nude. Time passed, and yet nothing happened though. Tomina then heard the steady rising and falling of Tarro’s breathing. He had… fallen asleep? There’s no way that he’s actually asleep. I bet he’s just one of those guys who really likes be dominant. I bet he’s waiting for me to fall asleep so he can wake me up later and get to some rough stuff. Alright then, if that’s how he wants to play it, I’m up for it.
Tomina went to sleep thinking she would wake up to Tarro indulging himself with his fantasy. What she got instead was a full night's sleep. Tarro never made a move on her, despite all her best efforts.
The Next Morning
Whack! Thud! Whack whack! Tomina was wailing away at the training posts downstairs in her dojo. She was wearing an open white jacket with a black and white blouse underneath that. The Saiyan hybrid had been wailing away down there since she had gotten up. Tarro was still asleep in her room. She was training away to improve herself, although mostly it was to deal with the conflicting emotions she felt right now. Tarro had thrown her for quite a loop.
The guy was drinking his sorrows away at a bar. I helped him achieve his Super Saiyan form, I brought him back here, patched up his wounds, and threw all my charm at him. And he ends up sleeping on the floor. Did I do something wrong? Guys always get into my pants when they get the chance. Why didn’t he sleep with me?!
The back of Tomina’s hair turned red and flared out behind her like an open flame. She threw out a series of punches of kicks that sent pieces of the training dummy flying everywhere, then she quickly went from dummy to dummy at blinding speed, taking apart most of them. When there were only 3 left, Tomina lept into the air, conjuring up a bow of blue fire. She formed and energy arrow and took aim. She released the string, sending the arrow flying down below. It caused a small explosion which completely disintegrated the three training posts, and left a small crater in the floor. It had done a small amount of damage, despite how much she held back.
Tomina flew down to the ground, panting as she clutched her bow and arrow tightly. Tomina’s head was starting to clear a little, now that she had vented. Although she still didn’t know how to feel about how last night played out. She just stood there amidst the charred remains of her training dummies, holding her bow of flames as tightly as possible.
Waking up the next morning in a daze as the sun was clearly up... and the morning finally here- Tarro got up and looked around squint-eyed, his mind turning on as he tried to process his surroundings and what had happened last night. He had gotten in a fight, been brought her, and turned down sex with what was probably the third hottest girl he had met. God he hated that so damn much. He noticed her panties on the floor next to where he had slept, the Saiyan temptress clearly using it as a way of sealing the deal. She must NOT have been happy that he had fallen asleep on her. There was some good news though from that night. He had FINALLY become a Super Saiyan, and he was feeling rather great. Tarro grinned as the pain he felt last night had finally subsided, his arms pulling out the bandages that had been tied around his torso. His bare chest exposed as his pecs flexed back and forth in a playful manner as the Saiyan Elite cracked a small goofy smile. With the moment it came and within the next it went. His mind jumping back into business. Jarvis. He had a lot of training to return too. He had so much to do.
His armor had been a bit battered in the clash - it was a good thing he had had them mass produced (stored in his spaceship and some in capsules in a pocket in the pants). The Saiyan made his way over to where he sensed Tomina's presence, feeling maybe it was best if the two talked. If it all went well than ya know maybe they could train. He was sure that he could be a semi-decent training partner. Though with the power he was sensing... maybe now wasn't the best time. She had just transformed into her weird transformation and it seemed pretty intense. He decided maybe he'd take a shower first. Eyeing the panties on the floor he gave a sly grin, as a thought came to mind to truly "recover" from last night. He stepped into the bathroom, turning the shower on and putting it on the hot setting, that grin still on his face...
Appearing dressed in a fresh suit of armor with a happy, refreshed smile, the Saiyan approached Tomina in the training room hoping to speak with her. That was a nice, hot, calm, refreshing shower. Hearing the explosions from the hallway - the Saiyan's eyes widened. She was certainly having fun. He slowly walked into the room casually. Stopping at the entrance he knocked his knuckle against the wall to let her know he was here. He leaned against it with a serious, focused blank stare as he greeted her. "That's an interesting technique you've got there. First time I've seen someone make a bow and arrow with their energy... that must take incredible control," he complimented her with a small, soft grin. "Most people settle on their simple beams, balls, bolts and other such constructs," he said, his head tilted to the side as he leaned against the wall. He waited for her response, curious as to what she would say.

Tomina turned her head at the sound of Tarro’s voice. She was so busy with her training that she didn’t notice him come in. He was dressed up in the same attire that he wore the previous night, although his demeanor made him seem like a completely different person. She turned to face him, staring at the Saiyan male calmly. She seemed to have burned off most of her frustration with her training.
“I’ve refined my Ki control over the years, but manipulating the fire has always been second nature to me. I don’t know how to describe it other than the flames are an extension of myself. Manipulating them is as natural as moving my arms and legs.”
The bow of flame Tomina was holding twisted and shifted into various shapes, forming a katana, a staff, and an axe in quick succession. She then dispersed the flames, her hair returning back to normal.
“It took me awhile to integrate my Ki with my flames though. Forming energy spheres and bolts wasn’t as nature as fire manipulation for me. After a bit of trial and error and a lot of practice, I figured out how to incorporate energy attacks with my fire. That bow and arrow attack you saw took me six months to complete. I was still learning about my abilities at that point though. Now it’s almost as second nature as using fire.”
Tomina wiped the sweat off her brow with the back of her hand, then gave Tarro a slight smirk. She still honestly didn’t know how she felt about him. She was a little mad that he didn’t sleep with her. At the same time, she was… glad he didn’t do it. Right now she had a torrent of emotions going around in her head. She wasn’t going to let the Saiyan male know that she was going on a figurative ride of feelings.
“You’re in a rather good mood this morning. No one would guess that you were wasting away drunk at a bar the previous night. Good thing too: you were in such a pathetic state when I found you. I like your current demeanor a lot. Don’t let yourself be drowned by your sorrows again.”
Tomina walked past him, and opened a sliding door to reveal a kitchen. She walked over to the sink, and turned it on. She washed her hands, turning her head and calling out to Tarro.
“You want something to eat? I’m a pretty good cook, if I say so myself. I’ve never fix a meal for someone before, so this is a little unusual. It’s also unusual for someone to turn me down. Until I met you, I always got whoever I wanted to come between the sheets. You’re an interesting guy, and I want to get to know you better. After denying me a night of fun, the least you could do is stick around long enough to have a proper conversion.”
Tomina turned off the water, humming a little tune to herself as she dried off her hands. While she was still feeling a little conflicted about her emotions, she was able to push most of them aside and enjoy the moment. This was new territory for her, which made her excited. Her Saiyan half always enjoyed a good challenge. Tarro had thrown a loop in things by not taking advantage of her offer last night. Tomina was determined to learn about him as much as possible. And a good way to do that was having a talk with him while having food. Tomina was looking forward to finding out where things would go from here.
Tarro listened to her reply, as she went on to explain how her flames were like an extension of herself. The flames being shaped into any form that she wished as opposed to the standard practices of energy that the usual warrior utilized. Tarro found it kind of fascinating, the fancy show she gave to demonstrate her control only adding to it. A Katana, a staff, an axe. She could literally build anything she set her mind too out of fire. It seemed so interesting to the Saiyan. He had specific techniques with his energy that were more straightforward, though some of them packed with interesting properties that could surprise people. It was interesting that energy manipulation was the thing that she seemed to have had more trouble mastering in her years.
But he supposed he'd never have the cool fire fluidity that she did. He shrugged. "It's an interesting way of fighting. I rely on my energy for interesting gimmicks when I fight. For example - this is one of my favorite techniques," he said before raising his index and middle fingers. Turning his body toward one of the remaining training dummies - Tarro fired a barrage of energy rings that latched onto the practice dummies' limbs - squeezing them in place and entrapping them. "Admittedly my way of fighting may seem more vanilla in comparison, but some of my techniques are surprisingly effective if I do say so myself," he said with a light, low chuckle. She then commented on his behavior and its contrast to him in the bar. She was right - he was a bit different. By transforming he had let a good amount of the negative energy filling him from the incident go - which left him in relatively better spirits. Though he was still far from great. "Yeah...," was all he commented on the matter.
He enjoyed Tomina somewhat, but he wasn't about to start going on about his "feelings". He was done feeling sorry for himself and moping around. There was payback to be delivered. There was hardcore training to do. There were enemies to grind into dust. And Tarro would make sure they did. She walked right past him - seemingly going somewhere. The Elite stood there watching her go with a raised eyebrow - wondering what she was doing. Was her training session over already? When she opened the sliding door and revealed the kitchen, he suddenly remembered. He hadn't eaten since the bar... and that had been many hours ago. She called out to him inviting him to eat, which was in good timing since his stomach began to growl. He hoped her being in another room would prevent her from noticing - the Saiyan elite actually showing a bit of embarrassment.
"I could eat...," he replied back to her casually, not wanting to seem overeager. He found her very amusing though - trying to use his refusal the night before as a reason for him to stick around and eat with her. He made her curious - he had guessed that she was used to getting whoever she wanted in her bed- though he was still surprised at her shock. NO one had refused her before? She was attractive for sure but surely someone before him had refused her. He frowned. Maybe he was the only idiot then. "Would you like help? I can cook somewhat myself,"he offered. Living by himself for so long he had learned how to cook. Going out into the wilderness and just cooking animals by campfire eventually got boring after all.
He was fine getting to know the girl hybrid a little better. She was amusing after all. And a piece of home at that. Perhaps they would find good company in each other yet. He supposed they'd have to just wait. And find out for themselves.

Tomina watched as Tarro displayed his unique technique of using energy rings to bind one of the training dummies. It was certainly a useful technique, especially while he was in a squad. She called back to him from the kitchen.
“Sometimes the simplest solution is the best one. Although having a completely open fighting style does make it easier for your opponents to read you. Not to mention if you don’t change things up, then your enemies can avoid or block you with the same tactics every time. You kept on trying to power through my Ember Shield when you could have just used that technique to try and restrain me. That would have worked out better, since I would have been forced to dodge at the very least.”
Tarro then offered to help with the cooking, which amused her. He was being rather chivalrous without having an ulterior motive for it. Usually this kind of thing was something a guy would use to get a girl more into them. Although that obviously wasn’t Tarro’s intent. She finished washing her hands, turning off the sink and drying them off. She looked back at Tarro, her eyes studying her Saiyan guest.
“I appreciate the offer, but I want to cook this on my own. You’re my guest for today and I kicked the crap out of you earlier. I’d say that’s worth a free meal at least. I’ve been cooking for myself for nearly a decade anyway. If you want something in particular, speak now or forever hold your peace. Otherwise I’m just going to fix whatever I’m in the mood for.”
