Tomina was lounging on the sofa of one of her couches, close to the front door so that she could go and answer the door right away. Tomina was wearing the same white outfit that she had the day after she had tried seducing Tarro. She chuckled as she recalled the memory. It had left a bit of a sour taste in her mouth at first, but eventually it became something she liked to remember. As of late, it had actually gotten better. Not unlike how some wines tasted better with age. Tarro was quite the interesting Saiyan after all. And she had made her rather proud today.
When a spar between Carva and Queen Kinoko had gotten out of hand, Tarro along with Rensu, Ash, and herself had come to calm things down. Tarro had taken one look at the situation and immobilized Carva with a technique. And for his trouble he nearly got killed by the Queen and got berated by Carva. He earned Karota’s respect and furthered Tomina's own respect for him.
I’m never going to admit it to him, but he handled the situation better than I did. He never lost control of himself once throughout all that madness.
Tomina had ended up saving his life, although she very nearly seriously injured the Queen in the process. She didn’t even need to reach her new level of power to stop the blast, so accepting Ash’s proposal had been a bit overkill. She didn’t go berserk the way Carva and the Queen had, but she hadn’t been in full control of herself that day.
Tomina was eagerly awaiting to train with the Saiyan warrior. She found that she was rather enjoying his company. It was one of the few things she looked forward to these days. Most other things were just business to her. Despite it involving more training, time with Tarro was welcome change of pace from the norm.
Tarro, the long spiky black haired Saiyan warrior walked up to Tomina's door - his body obviously recently beaten quite thoroughly. He had just barely gotten through the extent of Carva's power. The Saiyan was too strong for Tarro to beat, even with his tactical mind. His cursed mutated Super Saiyan genes made him far too powerful while Tarro was falling fast behind. That Zenkai only widened the gap between the two - much to his irritation. "I know I can catch up to that miserable oaf...I just have to keep trying. And be patient,"he said with gritted teeth. Knocking on Tomina's door firmly but not with an overbearing amount - the Super Saiyan waited at her door.
The Saiyan was in his usual attire like always- a black jumpsuit with a green-and-grey Saiyan chest plate over it. It was his style of armor - thinking that the shoulder pads were too bulky and inhibited movement too much. He had replaced the previous dark grey gloves and boots with the traditional white full gloves and boots of the usual Saiyan attire. He may be learning from Tomina's Empire fighting style - but he wouldn't give up his uniform. This was his until death. Unfortunately in the battle it had gotten a bit torn up- the jumpsuit having holes in the knee area and one of the shoulders. His chestplate was clearly damaged. His armor looked worse than his body did. It was clear that he had already healed.
He waited for her. He was ready to continue his training. One of many steps toward reclaiming his prime - and showing Carva what a real Saiyan was truly made of.

Tomina sprung to her feet as she heard the knock on her doors. She bounded over to the entrance, pushing them both open with her hands. She smirked when she saw Tarro on the other side of the doorway. He was wearing the same outfit he normally did. Which she supposed was fitting since it was good for training with. Not to mention that it was a good reminder of the time they first ran into one another, especially with what the Saiyan hybrid was wearing right now. Although....
"You could have changed into a suit of armor that was a bit more presentable. Honestly, you have no tact. Showing up to a girl's front door in rags like that. You could have least try to sew the holes shut ya know."
Tomina let Tarro inside, closing the doors behind him as she lead him through the mansion. It was close to being done, but she had still yet to add some decorations to the decor. They reached a steel door down one of the long hallways. Tomina quickly punched in a series of numbers on a keypad next to the door.
"Speaking of which, what got your clothing so torn up anyway? I thought I completely blocked the attack Queen Kinoko sent your way. You look like you invaded a planet without telling me about it."
Tomina turned to look at the young Saiyan, leaning against the door of the gravity chamber. She was fairly certain she knew why his clothing was in such bad face. It didn't take a detective to figure out that things had escalated between him and a certain Saiyan Hybrid. The tension that had built up in the palace wasn't just going to dissipate. It was something that had to be worked out between fellow Saiyan warriors.
This was normally the part where Tarro would receive the comment from Tomina, exchange the smirk and some banter to go with it. But he was angry. Not at Tomina, but with himself. It showed in his facial expression, his eyebrows slanted slow and his eyes focused. Not on Tomina but on something abstract in the distance. He saw Carva's transformations over and over in his head - the beast laughing at his weakness - and it pissed him off royally. "Sorry. I'll be more presentable next time," he replied softly, stepping inside of the Mansion with her permission. He wasn't in the mood for joking. He was rather serious and a little annoyed.
He looked around the Palace - knowing that it was actually well-decorated. It had appeared so much more vacant the last time he was here. "Nice decor," he said, again quietly. He was like a dog that had been kicked around. He was angry, but lacked the will to do anything about it for now. "How the hell can his power grow so fast! I shouldn't be having this much trouble catching him up to him! I'm an Elite! At least... I was...," he thought to himself. Could not training for so long have really had this much of an effect on his progress?
He watched as Tomina began clicking buttons on some kind of device for the Gravity Chamber, not exactly knowing what she was setting it too. After that she leaned up against the door looking at him, his own eyes looking at hers puzzled. She apparently wanted to know why his clothes were so ragged, and made another attempt at a joke. He'd explain. She was his Captain now, and he wouldn't hide information from her. "After what happened at the Palace - I challenged Carva to a duel. I wanted to prove to them that he's not as untouchable as his ego suggests. He agreed and we flew out to the outskirts of Saiya and battled it out to our fullest. I got some good shots against him, but ultimately... I wasn't strong enough to take him down. Not with his new Transformation and Zenkai boost putting him so far ahead," Tarro said with a frown. "I've been trying to master the Super Saiyan transformation as Nasu has before me... and it hasn't gone so well. I've only been able to utilize the Power Weighted Forms that accompany Super Saiyan and burn off excessive energy," he said with gritted teeth.
He'd figure it out though. He just knew it. It was only a matter of time...

Tomina noticed Tarro’s strange behavior, but she didn’t comment on it right away. It was similar to how he was acting at the bar when she first met him. He didn’t sound like he had given up on things again, but he was mad and letting something get to him. Her suspicions were confirmed when Tarro told her about a fight he had with Carva. Tomina let out an exasperated sigh, closing her eyes and pressing her back against the door.
“Letting your emotions overwhelm your thought process is something Carva would do. I know this because he tried his hardest against me in a training session, clearly thinking he could win against me. Or at the very least leave a big mark. He took off his training weights in order to use his full power on me. You’re different then that though Tarro. You knew full well that he was stronger than you; and that no amount of tactics you used would change that. Teaching someone a lesson only works if you win. All you did was add more fuel to the flames of pride. I’ll be the one to keep his ego in check. Although it’s at the level it needs to be right now.”
Tomina pushed herself off the door, and spun around and put her hand on the door. She pushed down on the knob, but stopped short of opening the door.
“That being said, there are times when the right decision involves putting yourself in a situation beyond your abilities. You made all the right calls back at the palace. When you put yourself at a disadvantage, make sure it’s for the right reasons.”
Tomina opened the door, walking inside the gravity chamber. It was a vast open space that was considerably larger then the average gravity modifier. Tomina waited until Tarro had come inside before walking over to the control panel. She pressed a few buttons, and the gravity got twice as strong as before.
“Don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of your transformations soon enough. That’s what these training sessions are for. You’ve just got to keep pushing yourself harder, that’s all."
Tomina still wasn’t done with the control panel. She leaned her upper body over the table, quickly typing some values into the computer. The room flowed as the background started to change. She was setting up the conditions that they would train under. Who knew what the Saiyan hybrid was going to conjure up?
Tarro rarely showed weakness or guilt. But as Tomina stared at him with disappointed eyes and scolded him: he felt a sense of regret for his actions. He didn’t like displeasing his captain. “Aye it was dumb…and I know that. I just.. felt the urge to prove myself. He’s just such an ass,” he groaned. “I underestimated how far his Zenkai had pushed him. Before his genes pushed him ahead I probably would have been able to handle him… but he achieved one of the few boosts we Saiyans have after a near-death experience… and that put him ahead of me,” he said. He hated it. He hated feeling so far behind. He hated losing. He hated being such a weakling. A miserable excuse for an Elite.
Tarro lowered his head as she gave him advice, humbling himself to take it all in. She was right. “Alright Captain. I’ll be smarter in the future..,” he said. It truly was rare for Tarro to not argue back. But he knew he was wrong this time. He stepped inside the gravity chamber - looking at it with a widened admiration. It was… pretty awesome. He wished he had one for his spaceship (which was basically his quarters). Soon he felt the weight of the gravity as it seemed to double down on him. With his high power level it wasn’t a huge strain, but he definitely could feel the affect. “How much gravity is this anyway?” he asked with a raised eyebrow. He listened as she continued to pour her wisdom into the lad. He needed to be more patient and just keep training harder and harder. He still had many heights to climb. There would be setbacks and rivals to challenge his authority. He just had to push past it and keep moving forward.
At least if he wanted to make it to Jarvis. “Understood. I’m ready for whatever you can throw my way,” he said with a determined fierceness in his eyes, his will calming and ready to keep on.

“I know he’s an ass! I want him to be an ass, as long as he doesn’t forget his place or overstep his boundaries. We all have our roles to play, and he needs to be an ass to play his role properly. If you don’t like him, that’s fine. Beat the crap out of him when you get strong enough if you want. We Saiyans need adversity to get stronger. Don’t let your emotions get the best of your common sense though. If you had stopped to think, then you would have realized that a zenkai boost would have pushed him ahead of you. Even if it is weaker compared to what a pure Saiyan can get from zenkai.”
As the room changed around them, Tomina walked away from the console and towards the far end of the room. She turned, calling out to her student from the far end.
“It’s going to be 20 times normal gravity today! I don’t want to start off too strong right now, considering you’ve just been through a couple of major fights. Also it isn’t that far off from the gravity of the setting we’re going to do battle in. I doubt you're ready to do battle in this arena though. It's more familiar then you'd be comfortable with.”
The gravity chamber conjured up a place that no longer existed. They were on a plateau overlooking a large city. The city stood there, it’s tallest spires reaching up towards the red sky. Tomina watched Tarro, seeing how he would respond to the situation at hand.
“It’s something I had our research department cook up. I had this program constructed from data we had, and from my memory of Soy when I invaded Natto as part of a task force 13 years ago. If you can fight me here without losing control, then you’ll be able to shrug off anything Carva can throw at you. Come at me Tarro!”
Tomina took a fighting stance, waiting for Tarro to make the first move. She nnew it would probably take a bit before Tarro got used to the setting. It was a harsh reminder of the home he once had, so it was bound to trigger some unpleasant emotions.
Tarro stayed quiet as his Captain responded back with a rant, not wanting to receive further wrath. He disagreed with what she said, but it was not his place. Not while he was still her student, her subordinate. He saw no reason why building up one’s ego was a good idea. To Tarro: Carva reminded him a lot of Jarvis - the God King he despised so much. It was hard to picture himself working with such a man. It was like working with the man he was working to kill. It made no sense to him! But it was a hardship he was forced to endure. For both the chance to learn in the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom… and the chance to serve Tomina. Still it made him a little angry to be so easily dismissed. “Aye. He boosted even farther than I thought. It seemed his training with the Queen had resulted in a large power boost. I have my work cut out for me,” he said softly. And that was the end of that conversation.
He would rather just focus on his training now. He squeezed his fists tightly in their gloves. He was ready. In just a few short moments after that - Tarro felt his body pressing down on him. The gravity increased making him twenty times heavier! “Gah!” he grunted as he struggled to stand. “This is some hefty gravity… twenty times that of Earth’s…. Heh…,” he chuckled, his blood boiling from the challenge. He was quite chipper… until he realized the weight behind Tomina’s words. What she meant. This was truly a cruel thing to do to the Ex- Elite. To bring him back to a simulation of the home he had lost. The scientists had done a good job… the red sky. The look of the city. Everything seemed perfectly real. The black spheres curiously scanning his surroundings, a look of pure awe and emotion overflowing. Threatening to swallow him whole.
Everything was the same. Like it had never been blown up at all. Like Jarvis had never came. Like he had never invaded. It was… so beautiful… and yet so sad. He was simply lost… transfixed. He couldn’t set his eyes off the sight… he could only think of everything that happened. His mind was spiraling at a thousand light years per second - overloading with thoughts he couldn’t control. Everything was just… too much. He didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know what to say. He didn’t know what to feel.
He was just completely lost. Lost in the past.
Tarro and the gang were wasted- having been drinking to their victory against the Moginanians with ale and merriment. “Yo Tar pass me the shrimp!” Arres called out to him. “You should have ordered your own motherfucker!” Tarro yelled back in anger. Arres was always trying to mooch off his food. It never failed to piss the lad off. Ares growled back at him with a defiant gaze - the two's energy rising as they prepared to squabble over the delectable meats. They didn't know any better. They knew not of the horror that was to come. Perhaps if they had they would have been prepared, not stuffing their faces full of liquor and seafood. “Stop arguing you two! We’re trying to celebrate here…,” Aru called back to them with a fierce glare in her eyes. They both ceased immediately. Neither wanted to invoke the wrath of their Captain.
And so they continued to drink and eat stuffing their faces. They were all rather hammered. Barely able to form a sentence together. They were all passed out at the bar sleeping it off... And it was then that the God King attacked. Swarming with his men - the planet under siege. Komatsu and the God King went into single combat - the Saiyans down below had to fight for their lives…
And it was on that day that Tarro’s hell had truly begun….
Tarro clenched his fists together, his teeth gritting as he felt rage overwhelm him. “Why are you showing me this? What’s the point!? Is this all a game!?” he roared, yelling at the top of his lungs as a purple glow of shimmering light surrounded the entirety of his body. His energy rising as he stood before Tomina. He charged at her command - raising his fist as and swinging it in the form of a left hook trying to land it on her pretty face.
He was pissed now. And he had a lot of rage to let out now. A lot.

Tarro acted exactly how she thought he would. He was absolutely livid with the idea of having to fight on a holographic representation of the home he had recently lost. He was absolutely enraged with her, so enraged that he charged her without a second thought. Tomina jerked her head to the left to avoid Tarro’s punch, her blue eyes staring into the pure-bred Saiyans.
“I told you why just a minute ago. You didn’t comprehend my words though. And calling it a game is actually an apt comparison. Yes, it is a game. A game that has been played since the first spacecraft traveled the cosmos. A cruel game that decides the fate of entire civilizations and planets. The strong enslave other species as their pawns or destroy them. We’ve taken part in that game since we murdered the Tuffles and took control of Vegeta. There are always losers, and always new people to take their place. Jarvis is just one of the more recent threats. This is the way things have been and always will be, unless we win the game with our own hands."
Tomina threw out a reverse punch aimed at Tarro’s chest. It would probably hurt him considerably, even if he did have armor to protect him.

Tarro was frustrated. He was emotional. Tomina knew what this would do to him - and yet she did it anyway. Why? What was the point? He wasn't sure. All he knew was he was thoroughly pissed off and he wanted to let that out. Tarro’s eyes widened as he swung furiously at Tomina hoping to strike at her. He was dismayed when she dodged it with such ease. It was like she had anticipated his attack light years ahead of its actual arrival. His black eyes stared back into her pretty blue- his surprise apparent on his face. “Damn it! I don’t want to be here!” he thought to himself with gritted teeth.
This was stupid. As Tomina prepared her counter-attack: Tarro felt his energy increase dramatically. With each transformation into Super Saiyan he found it was easier and easier to tap into the power- in this case able to channel it fast enough to react to her amazing attack. Blocking it with his forearm- he spoke with a cool passive tone. “Your technique has gotten better,” he muttered. “Clearly you’ve been holding out on me,” he said with a fierce gaze as the two warriors stood face to face in what appeared to be a contest of stares.
“Don’t you think I know that?” he responded coldly. “Don’t patronize me, woman! What is your point!” he said - his tone more disrespectful than it was usually. It was clear he was fed up with her bullshit and wasn’t giving his usual respect. Charging a purple orb in his hand with fervor he thrusted his hand forward to blast her in the stomach with his ki head on. A beam would shoot out point blank - hoping to blast her against the wall.
One would think that the Super Saiyan lost his mind. He had never been so angry. It was clear seeing his old home world had stirred his wrath. And not for his own good.
"We are a race of warriors! I know that! But we lost: Our race dwindled to a mere fraction of its former population! The laughing stock of the Universe...
If it weren't for Nasu any faction in this Universe could easily wipe us out! So stop holding out on me and say something useful, instead of lecturing me about stupid things that don't matter! Do you expect me to feel nothing seeing this place? The wound's hardly even healed yet and you wanna rip that band-aid just like that?
What kind of fucking idiot are you?"
He shouted in a powerful rant, his energy swelling as fierce winds shout out from his aura and veins protruding from his forehead as he gritted his teeth.

Tomina simply crossed her arms as Tarro stared her down. He definitely sounded a little bit peeved that she hadn’t shown this level of skill up until now.
“I have my reasons for hiding what I can do. There are still some things I can’t show you, not yet. If all goes well, then I’ll be teaching you how to properly fight soon enough. There are some obstacles that you need to overcome first.”
Tomina let Tarro talk for awhile. He had the right to vent, considering the circumstances. When he attacked her, she powered up to her mastered form, spreading her legs and rising above the energy blast. It just missed her, going through the gap between her legs. Tomina crossed her arms as she stared down at Tarro sternly with her now golden eyes.
“You need the wounds to open so you can patch them up easier. They’re going to reopen no matter what, that’s inevitable. It’s also inevitable that your enemies are going to find out about your past and use it against you. I’ve done a good job concealing my past. But when I face the enemies I despise the most, I’m going to tell them why I hate them so much. You’ll do the same thing with Jarvis. That’s how we Saiyans are. And you can bet that he’s going to try and use it against you, to make you lose control, to hurt you mentally as well as physically. This training is meant to teach you how to deal with the pain. You can’t afford to drown in your past in the middle of a fight!”
Tomina conjured up an energy sphere in her hand, but did something a little more unorthodox. She dropped down like an anchor, swinging her arm at Tarro’s head. She intended to smash the yellow energy orb against his skull.

Tomina enters her mastered power form: PL:1,505,445
Tomina uses a basic dodge to avoid Tarro's attack.
“Tch. I don’t like being condescended… I’m ready for whatever you throw at me!” he declared. He had done everything he was supposed to for her. He had listened to everything thus far and now she was telling him he wasn’t doing good enough? That was infuriating! His teal eyes staring intensively with a bit of frustration as the two conversed in the break of the action. Her movements were so graceful. She was a tricky one alright! And she wasn’t even in the form she used when they first encountered each other… this was some lesser form. She was only adding onto the condescension! Well fine… if this was how she was going to be - he wasn’t going to complain. He’d just have to make her regret underestimating him by beating her in this form. He would hold back his own transformations unless she ascended herself.
He listened as she tried to explain to him, an angry frown plastered on his face as he listened. “So what? They can talk about it all they want at their own peril. Anyone who dares will be erased from this world…,” he snarled with a rather nasty clenching of his teeth. “I don’t plan on concealing my past. There’s no reason too. I want everyone to know. The fucks we fight in the upcoming war, the Demons when we tear apart their precious fucking dimension, and especially Jarvis when I finally get my chance at him…,” he began listing everyone who would come to understand his pain, his anger, his hatred..
“I want them all to know why I’m doing this. Why I'm taking their homes, why I'm stealing their lives from them like Jarvis stole from me. You see my anger doesn’t distract…,” he trailed off as he cocked his head to the side of the incoming ki blast attack by Tomina - he could feel the air of her fist as it landed close to his cheek. Taking advantage of the close proximity he leaned forward and extended his arm while making a fist. Discharging a purple orb of energy through it as he countered her attack with a fist to the gut - releasing the orb of energy with it as an energy beam would send her flying against the wall. “It motivates me. It gives me focus as I gain a will to grind them to dust… to make them feel exactly what I feel every day… when the cold nights set in,” he said coldly, glaring with thinly veiled eyes. The nights were dark and full of terrors from the past. The guilt, the sorrow, the rage. They were all overwhelming as he relived that day over and over again every night before he went to sleep.

Tarro is at 2/3 stamina by the end of this post]
“They’re here! Jarvis’ forces! They’re here! The Cerulean Empire has just invaded Natto!” one of the officers came running into the bar. Tarro was wide-eyed, a ton of shrimp filled his mouth as he made some strange noise with his mouth full. He swallowed it all like a typical Saiyan would - taking a deep breath as he readied himself for combat. “No way! Komatsu told us Jarvis wasn’t to come here until their duel… and then they were going to have a one on one match! Komatsu told us!” she insisted. Captain Aru had a deep respect for the Overseer’s little brother. She trusted his word more than anything. Arres liked to tease that she had a crush on the Saiyan - despite the fact that he was her lover. Tarro was always kind of baffled by it. “Clearly Jarvis is as trustworthy as he is sane,” his best friend chimed with his usual smart aleck humor. “I’m ready for them. We won’t let these bastards do shit! Especially if they’re going to be fucking cowards and blind side us!” Tarro shouted confidently. He wasn’t a Super Saiyan yet… but maybe he would still find a way to do something. He could still help! He was sure of it!
The other two looked at him. “Jarvis’ forces are powerful. Don’t underestimate them, Tarro. Without your Super Saiyan transformation or a full moon to help us - you’re severely at a disadvantage here…,” his Captain reminded him, despite the fact he was already aware of that. He clenched his teeth together. “I know that, Captain. But we’ve all no choice. And I can handle myself!” he assured her. She sighed and relented. Tarro could be quite stubborn, and they really hadn’t the time to push the issue. “Just stay out of too much trouble and leave the big fish to us, okay?” she asked him rhetorically, but he knew it was an order. He too relented and wouldn’t press it. He’d only step in if he had too. With that they four of them flew off to fight. They were only lightly buzzed - so they’d just have to make due with the circumstances they had…

Tomina was once again surprised by Tarro. Usually a Saiyan would completely lose their sense of reason if they got angry enough. Even Tomina herself wasn’t immune to that. If she got mad enough, she’d toss aside whatever plans she had to destroy whatever pissed her off. Yet Tarro was talking coherently still. He let her know exactly what he was feeling while powering through her attack. Tomina quickly dropped through the floor to avoid her attack, looking up at Tarro with a smirk on her face.
“Well said! Yes, you must tell your hated foes why you’re going to do horrible things to them. I want my major enemies to know who I am just before I kill them as well. You need to make sure that you’re in control of your past though, and that your enemies don’t use it against you. The really crafty ones can pull your strings like a puppet master if you give them the chance. The training is to ensure that you don’t give them that chance,"
Tomina formed a javelin of in her hand, the tip of the flaming weapon glowing from the energy it was made out of. The flames were encasing her energy into a specific shape, allowing for more piercing power. She threw the weapon at Tarro, the fast moving weapon moving at a surprising speed. Tarro knew how much he had changed in the past year. He was no longer the same Saiyan he had been in the Alliance. Those who knew him before would have hardly recognized him. He was more bitter, more angry than ever before. He was more inclined to violence, even for a Saiyan. He wanted to eradicate entire species for what one man had done. Sometimes a part of him felt a little guilty. But then all he had to do was stare at his surroundings to be reminded of why he was fighting. He thought of their faces… their screams. His horror. His powerlessness. The anger surfaced to blind out his small conscious. Every single time. What Tomina didn’t realize was that anger was now his default state of response at this point. To truly bring him to his knees in anger she was going to have to dig deeper into his psyche. While this had a negative effect on him - it wasn’t detrimental to his ability as a fighter. It only served to further the connection of the hate that poisoned the man he used to be.
The Saiyan-Elemi hybrid was quite flexible and quick on her feet. The way she dodged his attack was… most unorthodox to say the least. She spoke.. From the floor looking up at him - which was also strangely odd. “When I meet Jarvis… I don’t care what it takes. I’m stealing everything he holds dear and ripping him from his egotistical sense of Godhood. I will watch his eyes fade as he realizes he’s been stripped of everything that makes him what he is! When I meet the Demon Queen… I’m making sure she suffers pain far beyond her wildest dreams.
I won’t let anything jeopardize that! Because it’s all I have left!” he shouted. He then took the flaming sphere head on through his shoulder- grunting in pain with hardened teeth as the fiery weapon scorched at him so. The wound it created wasn’t nearly enough to stop him though. He then countered back with a barrage of energy rings to try and entrap her limbs. She had seen the technique before - and knew how to properly respond. But at the very least it would force her to expend more of an effort in her dodging. She had finesse on her side. She could better manage her energy. The most he could do was force her to put more of an effort in her actions. At that point she would be in trouble…
[Tarro took the OT-1 head on, bracing his body for the impact. He took 278,861 PL in damage thanks to the 5% block.] [Tarro fires his ST-1 Binding "Energy Rings" toward Tomina.] [Stamina = 1/3]
“ENERGY RINGS!” Tarro shouted as he fired the barrage of energy constructs from the tips of his index and middle fingers. A Cerulean Soldier binded down and helpless before the Saiyan Elite’s might. One of his fellow Saiyans fired an energy wave then that allowed them to push back their forces. Things seemed to be going smoothly at first. Tarro’s power level made him more than a match for the Underlings at least…
Ten more soldiers approached him hoping to overwhelm him with sheer numbers - but to no avail. Each of them trying to pile on top of him with a raining of fists to combine their force to do some damage. Tarro responded in kind - shielding his body by toughening up and bracing for the impact of their many blows before pushing them back with a shockwave of sheer physical might. Ripping his fist through one of their stomach’s afterward - one of the minions felt the life escape from their eyes as they faded into nothingness. On an individual level he was stronger than most of these pathetic cretins.
But Tarro was just fighting the fodder. Soon the Saiyan would realize he was nothing before the real threats that arrived to burn his world to the ground…

Tarro had decided to tank her attack head on. He just simply blocked it and didn’t expend any energy to dodge it. Tarro likely intended to counter attack immediately. Sure enough, series of energy rings flew up, quickly surrounding her. They moved in to bind her limbs, only for her to puff into smoke the moment they made contact.Tomina reappeared in the air, floating within 10 feet of Tarro.
“You have three more things to fight for now. But you're right: that day you lost everything. You trained your hardest, and were given the title of a Saiyan elite. Yet all your efforts amounted to nothing in the end. You couldn’t defeat the Caesar and his minions. You failed to save the lives of the people you ncared about. In the end, all you could do was flee Natto and watch it tear itself apart. Your whole world, your purpose for existing was taken from you in an instant. All because you were too weak to do anything. To pathetic to do anything. Despite what everyone told you, your power was insignificant in the grand scheme of things.”
Tomina spoke somberly to Tarro. by the end of it, it was clear that she was talking from personal experience. She had gone through similar things to her Saiyan student. She had told him a bit about her past, but there were still important things she hadn’t gone into.
“You have reasons to fight once again though. You’re getting much stronger than you were before, and will continue to grow stronger. I’m sure you know the secret now. Why you couldn’t achieve Super Saiyan before, but managed to obtain and master it now. Power is what dictates how much freedom you have. The most powerful can shape the universe as they see fit. They decide who lives and dies, and take what they want. If you want to take everything from Caesar and Nakiya, then you’re going to have to push yourself to a level you’d never even dreamed you could obtain. But you will do it.”
Tomina floated in the air, bracing herself for Tarro’s next attack. She had gotten a good hit in, but she had to expend some energy to avoid his attack. Tarro could gain the upper hand if he successfully pressured her enough. She couldn’t let that happen.
