The opening of the manor to students and just those willing to be trained brought with it a lot of opportunity to give the staff the ability to throw around ideas. Mostly, it was Auntie giving the suggestions. But some of them actually wondered if they'd ever be able to give students more personal courses. It'd be chaotic trying to squeeze the class inside the gravity chamber all at once in order to bulk up. She'd need to see anyways if the students in question are able to withstand the gravity even.
"All of your students are away from you by miles. I'd advise against training and sparring with them yourself personally. You've had experience and power behind yourself, child. Let one of us supplement. We're trained fighters too dear." The old caretaker and Flare was in the middle of discussion how they'd go about using the gravity chamber. Tabitha was only the first to speak as if they could all handle a portion of the training themselves. If not for Flare's sake, but for the sake of those being trained. There's no doubt most could be easily intimidated by the immense power the young flame possessed now. Even the stronger of them would have a difficult time giving it their all, and Komatsu knew this too when he trained Flare long ago. With some more bickering aside that lasted a good half hour the large group of seven convening around the desk in the garage finally came to the conclusion.
"I'm to supervise. I'll see who wishes to be trained first and match them to one of you, accordingly. This isn't a martial arts lesson, this is physical training. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to let ya'll to help like that. It's just up to pick someone, really." Flare looked between her colleagues and thought on which of the people she could choose from. The halfblood dog girl? Hisashi was an older acquaintance, but the ice woman she was with probably had better ideas for that. She could get them both here at once later if they wanted. It was better she tried doing this personal trainer thing one at a time. The other kids were enthusiastic as well about training under the young flame. She sat there for a bit in her quiet, thinking on it. Eventually, with a sigh, she'd start walking out towards the machine's housing and get her Auntie to follow.
"I'll ask them then. Come on, let's get the room prepped." Just outside the garae, offset from the fiery fountain a good several meters laid that large installment on her property. Komatsu's grandmother helped the young flame put it in. It wasn't a thing of focus when the students first came around to needing it but now was different. Shira was going to be the first she called on, seeing as he was one of the fan boys that might jump at the opportunity at the quickest moment possible.
Shira would feel a fiery sensation in the back of his head as Flare attempted to project her thoughts towards him, wherever he was. The voice was instantly recognizable, and it was clear real quick why his head felt hot.
["Hey, Shira. Ya there boy? I'd like to know if you were willin' to be my test dummy and come over to the mansion to train in this gravity chamber. I've got some good ideas cookin' up, think it'd really help ya."]
Shira could still hardly believe it. He was in Flare’s mansion. The same Fire enigma he crushed on at the World Martial Arts Tournament. “It’s rare for me to get like this… I really feel overwhelmed… but that was kind of awesome,” he thought to himself nervously with a red hue on his cheeks. He really didn’t wanna embarrass himself here. He hoped he didn’t seem too dorky or too rude or too quiet and unapproachable. A swarm of thoughts all piling in that big head of his crunching scenarios and data in all at once. This was going to be a hard day. That much he understood. He’d also might quite a few people today. Perhaps focusing on them would be a good idea to relieve his mind of the stress. Ebihan was an abnormal human like Galen. It was weird to Shira how they could manage to summon great bursts of power. It was so uncommon for their species. How did he do it? He crossed the normal threshold for human power and so easily. Was Shira missing something? Or was he just not capable of the same feats as all the others… That thought bothered him.
He didn’t like feeling incapable. He decided it was best to focus on the others for now.
Cyronia and Ash were each cold calculating individuals. Their demeanors were similar to his mother’s. They were geniuses to the core - always plotting and scheming like everything was a big ole game of Shogi. It was bothersome to him, but at the same time interesting. He liked what he could analyze of their behavioral patterns, the little pieces of their minds he was able to scope out.
The Zoanthrope known as Hisashi was quite a breath of fresh air. Such few pieces of positivity in this world. The world had become quite a cynical place for most given the state of Galactic Affairs. But Shira was glad that at least someone was pretty chipper and not hung up on it all. Ignorance was bliss as they said.
And then there was Flare he supposed. Coming back to her. She seemed… crass. Blunt. She wasn’t exactly very ‘lady-like’. But from what he gathered she was trying to help the inhabitants of Earth get stronger. Why? He surmised a battle was coming. He had sensed great powers on Earth that didn’t feel good. A Dark power plagued this planet and perhaps more would come. “This is why I need to get my project running as soon as possible,” Shira thought to himself.
It was then in the midst of his deep thought that a hot sensation manifested on the back of his head. He heard Flare’s voice inside of his head calling to him. She was asking him to be a training dummy. “Sure Miss Flare. I’ll do my best to keep up,” he answered back. He would go on over and head on toward wherever it was she wanted him to go.
That rubbed the young flame in a wrong way... Yet it She was still young, inexperienced. That sort of seniority was uncalled for in her eyes. She didn't seem to linger on it and cut her mental ties for his arrival, returning to gathering up the posse and getting the gravity room prepped for the boy's trials.
Shira would sense the collected group outside, in front of the garage openings that housed this external building. It was designed to keep to the theme of the house bit it was an obvious new addition, still rather pristine in its condition. Some non-servant figures were at the ready off to the side of the main familiar group Shira would have been used to by now. Flare and her gang of red head hunk, pink hair punk, overly done robot and old lady stood in front of this buildin'g entry, a small set of stairs leading up into it. Everyone there, bar an smaller individual off to the side spacing out, turned towards the new presence of the boy.
"Great! When do we beat him up?" Kerbi smiled and spoke up almost immediately, beaming at the kid with teeth. Flare just put a hand on his head and ruffled his hair, smirking at Shira with a shrug. She seemed to be at ease still, and barring Ragnarok the atmosphere was light enough. The implication that this was going to be a straight up training session seemed skewered.
"Hey Shira. Don't let the priss over here confuse ya, you're not gonna be pummeled or anythin'. I figured before we go much further with all this training I suggested to the group here that we test out just how many this here gravity chamber can manage to fit at once. Comfortable while fighting at least. I could have picked another out of the bunch but I reckoned you'd jump at the opportunity to test with us first hand. We're down a sparring partner, and we had enough to try one more participant. Whatcha say?" Flare mused between them all. Kerbi started counting the group they had outside the machine with his eyes flickering between each individual. The robot and taller red head almost had identical cross armed stances, ready at the go when they were needed. The other weak individuals off to the side were obviously going to spar with one another, but the rest of the stronger cast were up to debate.
"We'll strain the room's capabilities but remember the place isn't indestructible. I don't wanna fix damages where there doesn't need to be any. Remember that children or I'll drag each one of ya by the ear out of that room. Anyways, if we're all ready then allow me." Auntie took the lead to the group and took quick strides up the stairs into the external building. There was a small prep room just in the entrance before revealing the standard luxury capsule corp gravity room behind another door. The group really didn't need much besides their bearings as all of them, Flare included, hustled into the room and filed into the main chamber once it had been opened. Aside from the structure of the typical corporate branding that usually came with the special equipment the room had cool fire decals and some finish that felt more grainy rather than the metallic pearl of the normal machines. It looked a lot more like the rest of the mansion that way.
The dozen or so elemi formed their own group off to the side, Ragnarok grabbing Kerbi and shoving him a bit to the side, and Flare herself stepping up to the large centerpiece that held all the controls. Jax followed behind her a bit away but the old lady stood near the boy they invited in with no intent on joining the others personally. The young flame tapped a few buttons on the center panels and looked back at Shira with a bit of contemplation.
"Ever been in a gravity chamber? I know most the lot of us have but to those who haven't, it'll feel like the weight of ten yours stacked on top of your body... Don't worry, it's nothing life threatening. Though I'd DEFINITELY recommend testing the waters before you tried to walk around and spar in it!" It was at this moment the humming of the machine kicked in, a quiet premonition to the atmosphere around them all suddenly condensing and thickening around them. Only a few of the elemi off on their own corner seemed to budge at the mere transition to ten times gravity; Even Auntie seemed fine with the taxing increase. That being said she tried taking a hold of Shira to perhaps keep him from just slamming down hard to the ground.
As Shira made his way to the room she seemed to want him to go to- his mind focusing intently on Miss Flare as her large energy signature made it easy for her to locate the place again. "She's a fearsome gal. The Elemi seem to control a specific element... I wonder if that means they're vulnerable to their counter element...," he recalled aloud to himself as he flew with a white streak of light. It was something that he for sure would have to investigate sometime. Though he knew Flare was a good-guy she was not the only Elemi of her kind. There might be others that existed that worked against them. The scientist knew it would be important to find this out for the future. Any weaknesses that could be exploited by the Elemi would be crucial.
He landed just outside the garage of their chosen meeting place before he slowly descended, his feet lightly touching the ground as he moved with careful control of his ki. The usual squad seemed to be here - Flare’s posse. The red head hunk was someone of importance among his people, the strange pink haired child that was rather rude and blunt, the older caretaker who reminded Shira of his grandma sort of, the white haired robot that was rather voluptuous for an artificial being.. And finally Miss Flare herself. She was the only one of the group who Shira really researched. After the World Martial Arts tournament he did some digging into her powers - and she was quite… interesting. Her fire powers were cool for sure, but her personality was admirable.
She genuinely seemed to care about people. She was one of those so called heroes that been formed on Earth. They have been going by several names such as X-Fighters, Knights of the Round, and other such strange names over the last few years. But it was mostly the same type of people. He admired them, though he wasn’t sure if he himself was ready to commit to such an organization. He had lots of preparations to make.
Smacking him out of his long thoughts however it seems the pink haired punk spoke first. Insinuating they were going to beat him up as part of his training. He merely stared - unblinking though a single eyebrow raised in confusion. He said nothing however - choosing to remain silent until Flare explained. As she was the one who summoned him here. Flare seemed amused by it though. It was likely that the punk was just trying to get under his skin- though Shira had to admit he didn’t really care all too much. The Fire Lady finally spoke up to explain a little bit about what they were doing today. It seems they wanted to mess around with artificial gravity. The device Suusao had shown him not too long ago - but Shira learned he wasn’t quite ready for. He had strained a few of his muscles for a week or two he remembered - even with his company’s tech. It was an unpleasant experience to be sure. Shira had improved since then though he supposed. He shrugged while giving a soft smile.
“To be honest I can’t say how effective I’ll be. The last time I tried Gravity training it didn’t seem to go well… but then again I’ve gotten a bit stronger since then. I might just be able to handle it,” he said matter of factly. That was the best promise he could muster. “It’s possible the artificial gravity required me to have a bit better Ki Control. Now that I can bring out my full power it might help me keep my bearings… lead the way,” he said with a smile.
It was along the way that her auntie began to explain the rules to him. His was hardly an explosive fighter anyway - so this wouldn’t be a big deal to him. It made sense that the gravity chamber would be a sensitive place. If anyone got carried away it could damage some really valuable equipment. Shira was in the midst of trying to replicate this type of equipment for his own dwelling. It seemed like it would be a beneficial use of technology for building up his own strength. By overcoming gravity increasing your weight and being able to adjust to those conditions - you increased the efficiency with which you could move in the normal Earth-esque environment. It was simple evolutionary theory and it seemed to have taken many races to incredible heights. If he was careful it could do some good for a Human like him too.
The chamber was relatively the same as Suusao’s more or less - minus the doomsday theatrics that Suusao added to be a jerk. The fire decals were very… interesting though. Flare really liked being on the nose with her Fire. He found it amusing. It even manifested to the point of a small chuckle to himself as he entered and examined his surroundings.
Of course this was interrupted when he was addressed. “Yeah there’s a guy named Suusao that used to live here who showed me one. He tried to put me straight to twenty times Earth’s gravity… the attempt put me bedridden for a week… so it wasn’t exactly the BEST experience…,” he explained while scratching the back of his head, followed by a small singular chuckle of a high pitch. His voice was a rather soft tenor as she would likely come to notice.
Within a few moments everything around him seemed to change. The gravity hit him like a truck - Shira struggling to stand for a moment. His teeth clenched together tightly as he felt the pressure. His heavy weighted jacket didn’t exactly help. It was clear he was struggling - and the young Flame seemed to notice this as she held him. Her warm touch as she held him straight made him blush a slight hue, though he hoped she didn’t notice for the life of him. “I’m fine… really…,” he assured her. Closing his eyes as he focused his energy - they would all notice his power began to triple in efficiency as he brought his full potential. Under the weights it went up to about 21,000! Breathing softly as he got his bearings… he at the very least was managing not to fall on his face. To him that was a victory...

[Activated Last Resort which is now controlled... his PL is 21,000 w/ Heavy Weights on~]
Most of the elemi regiment, lead by Ragnarok and Kerbi, were off already, doing their own sort of thing to one side of the encapsulated room.It was Auntie and Flare that were off with Shira, probably to supervise and help Shira as given by the way Flare helped at least keep him standing. She didn't keep a hold on him long after he made his sudden change however, both of them opting to step back and watch to see how he'd handle it. The young flame in particular raised some brows.
"Ya seem fine alright, eh? It's not so bad at this level. Hopefully we won't be sendin' ya bed bound here,so straighten up boy. I wanna see ya move around and stuff before we do anything like what they are doin'. Usually it takes a bit, but I'm sure you've got it." Auntie watched as Flare stood in front of the boy for a bit of encouragement, her own form seemingly unaffected by the increase. She was making waving hand gestures to encourage his movement to his feet, hopefully managing to get the boy up before instructing him any further on what is was the two can do. Training was the obvious, but with so many elemi in close proximity it was going to become very clear stress testing also meant a few other things.
Kerbi and Ragnarok both took up a sword, the former of which conjured the blade from thin air, and started going at each other. Dueling stances and parrying ensued, a spectacle that reverberated throughout the room as powerful blades were swung, often missing their mark or parried off to the side. The elemi who were also over there took up arms with a respective manner, conjuring up physical armor around their body, or covering their fists in fire and electricity. This larger group seemed to be pair in small groups and went at everyone else in a large team based free for all. Their moments more rigid and hampered by the gravity but they were able to move nevertheless. Judging by their power they'd have to have been in here before to so quickly adjust.
"Right, so the first thing after you move around a bit is I want you to come at me with everything you've got. Don't be afraid of hurtin' me either. I'm a big girl, I can take it. Take your time though, we've got all day. No need to strain yourself." Flare offered up, standing tall and at the ready for her pupil to move on past trying to just walk around in the chamber. It would be the literal first step in their training, well worth the attention she was giving Shira as a result. Auntie nodded to the two as well and started over at the control module in the center space of the room, probably also ready to modify the room however they saw fit.
