There it was - the capital city of Planet Sadal! Nori was running over his plans in his head. How would he introduce himself to his old team? Would they even still recognize or believe him? Had they even been informed he was an Android now? He felt his heart hammer with excitement and anticipation - never mind how he didn't really have a properly beating heart - as he looked over the town he knew so well...
And then, Nori would realize with a quirked eyebrow and confused expression, he wasn't slowing down. Nori would turn his attention to the ship's navigation, which would have his landing point some distance away from the city, even as he was pretty sure that he had input the coordinates correctly. Nori would give a loud groan and a sigh, dramatically bringing his hand up to his face and moving his hair out of his face, attempting to change directions at the last second with his free hand. The ship wouldn't budge. Nori gave a grimace as he looked ahead at his landing destination - all of the trees pretty much ensured that his landing would be kind of bumpy. Or, at least, relatively bumpy compared to stopping in town. As the ship approached the trees of the outlands, Nori would brace himself...
The ride down was pretty bumpy, and Nori felt himself jerk back and forth in the ship - or at least his limbs, because his body was pretty safely secured - as the ship flew through trees, each one giving an incredibly loud crack as his spit tore through them all. That being said, he was slowly making his descent... until, he suddenly realized that his landing destination would place his ship inside of a nearby hill. Nori barely had to time to realize that, though, before his ship collided with the hill, leaving a decent-sized crater to go along the loud crashing noise as Nori landed.
Nori would quickly unbuckle whatever safety belt he had on and open up his ship. That seemed to be about all the ship would do for him, though - a few attempts to check the coordinates of where he had landed gave him static before the screen finally shut off entirely. The ship was busted, and giving another look at the poor state it was in, Nori was honestly surprised he survived the trip at all. Didn't stop him from being pissed, though. "Ugh, of course they'd give me some piece of junk ship to travel around in!" He barked out, his voice unmistakably masculine but still pretty high. "This thing honestly should have fallen apart as it entered the atmosphere! As soon as I work my way to back to Frost, I'm giving that ass a piece of my mind." Nori decided, folding his arms and yelling at nothing. Although, he was certainly being loud enough that any nearby would be able to hear him... WC: 492 Comments: Hope this is alright! Wataya was simply out hunting, having gotten a bow fashioned and with her trusty blades upon her back, the Elemi had the quiver on her belt. Drawing an arrow back and watching the large Sadala equivalent of a deer, she fired and hit it spot on causing the animal to drop to the ground dead. The sound of something blundering through the undergrowth made her lift her head, watching where the noise came from and a person's shout.. "Who's there, show yourself!"
"Mmm?" Came Nori's muted response. Man, I hope no one was around to watch that little fit I just had. That would be embarrassing. Nori internally fretted, giving a quick scan of power levels in the area. He could detect that one was nearby him, and as such, began to float into the air in its general direction, giving a polite smile and a wave. He would be quite a sight to see - some scrawny looking thing with a power level that couldn't be detected via Ki Sensing. That being said, he would still carry himself with some kind of confidence as he would levitate towards the ground.
"So, uh... sorry you had to bear witness to my little fit." Nori began, somewhat tentatively, avoiding eye contact. He would then take note of the bow on the chick's back. "And, uh, sorry if I made you miss or something? My ship overshot the city." Nori would then give a grimace and look in the direction of the city, which was pretty far away, and then back to the ship in the distance - Nori could swear he heard the comical sound of the ship's door falling off of its hinges as he did so. "...By a pretty wide margin." He sounded peeved all of a sudden, which made his already relatively high-pitched voice just a bit higher. He would then follow with a sigh, his voice returning to normal.
"But, uh, you don't look Saiyan. You come around here often?" He would offer, giving her a confused look in the process. He didn't know who she was, but he did feel kind of guilty about ruining her hunt - if he had done so. He didn't have a whole lot of hunting experience, but he figured hunting whatever the Sadal equivalent of deer, rabbits and squirrels couldn't be that difficult.WC:308 TWC:800 (Exactly 800! Dang, I'm good.) PL: 30260/6052
Wataya had the bow in one hand, prepared to grab her swords by dropping the bow if whoever or whatever was there was unfriendly. The end result of her suspense was a scrawny person, of whom had no ki. Android.. He apologized, explaining that his ship had overshot the city and after a pause admitted it was by a fairly good margin. Funnily enough, she thought it was a bit more than a fair margin but the Elemi said nothing about the thoughts running through her head.
"It's fine. There's plenty of game, but if you aren't a cyborg I'm not hunting you any and you don't hunt it, that's just waste. No, I am not Saiyan so good guess. I live out here." Her voice behind the mask was deep and manly, despite the breasts that were quite obvious on her chest but her eyes remained in shadow thanks to the hood.
Nori would give a confused tilt of the head as Wataya, her name unknown to him, as he explained. He couldn't read her, and that slightly upset him, even as reading people was never a skill he had. He couldn't really tell what was going on beneath her mask and hood, and while he couldn't really get upset about it - Hey, more power to her if she doesn't want people to know what she looks like. - but it was still frustrating he couldn't really tell if she bought his story.
She would promptly respond, and - Holy hell, is that her voice?! The moment she began to speak, Nori would promptly wear a stunned expression as he stared right at her, eyes widened in disbelief. His first expression was to ask something along the lines of What the hell?, but he contained himself. Nori did find his eyes flitting towards her breasts, remembering those were there and how little the woman's voice seemed to match up with her body, and was desperately running in his head likely it was that they were implants or something equally out of left field. His inability to see the general structure of her face didn't help. He assumed the... person in front of him was female, but you know what they say about assuming.
Nori would instead settle for a nervous chuckle after his mental crisis. "Ah, I see. Well, that's disappointing." He hand-waved the issue away and his lips curled into a similar grin as before. "Although, you live out here? When the main city is right over there?" Nori's tilted his head to the side in a confused manner. "Why? Surely there's enough sustenance and space in the city." He offered, definitely prying into someone else's private affairs - and he would realize that with a twinge of guilt - but he was simply curious for no good reason. She - or he? - seemed talkative enough, so he didn't worry about it. "And, while I'm full Android, I had to hunt before I got this body." He pointed out, giving a shrug. "If you want me to get you something in exchange for taking up your time..." He didn't finish the statement, but was sure the message got across.WC:373 TWC:1173 PL:30260/6052
Wataya watched him with her striking red eyes unseen under her hood, noting how his eyes flew to her breasts and how alarmed he seemed. After a strange, medium length pause, the Android spoke again. He told her apparently his disappointment, before prying into her private affairs in the form of asking why the Elemi lived out in the outskirts instead of the noisy, crowded city. "Simple. I choose to. It's quieter out here, I've had my fair share of people staring at me and I don't feel like getting stared at some more."
There were more reasons behind it than the woman let on, one being she was afraid to hurt someone like the kid on Matteria that had almost been sent to the morgue by her attacks in response to his prior attacks. It was why she wore the mask, hiding her right cheek which still held a burn scar from that stupid child. "I don't need anything, I'm find living on my own."
Nori felt his face flush in embarrassment at the woman's 'I don't feel like getting stared at some more' remark. Urk. Nori would give a nervous chuckle. "...Sorry. It's just that I'm... confused?" He would offer, his words suddenly sounding tactically forced, as though he were attempting to avoid standing on a land mine. "Your deep voice just threw me for a loop. I wasn't expecting that, for... some reason." He nervously scratched the back of his neck, giving a goofy grin and avoiding eye contact, internally screeching about how badly he managed to botch even this simple of a conversation. He would look at the ground. "I... Uh... Sorry." He offered, pretty awkwardly.
Nori would then tilt his head, at least looking in her general direction this time, although she could probably get the sense that Nori was looking past her rather than at her. "Oh, come on, I've taken up this much of your time, let me do something to repay you." Nori would then tilt his head to the side, remembering he didn't really have a lot on his person. "Well, uh, you could have my ship..." Nori almost winced as he flashed back to the state it was in. "Or, um, what's left of it. I could..." Nori would give a comical rub of the chin, Sherlock Holmes-style. "Uh... Any miscellaneous chores or something you have floating around? I'm pretty decent at manual labor, despite what I may look like." Nori offered. He just felt guilty now, mostly due to staring at her, and wanted to do something to pay her back for her troubles...WC: 269 TWC: 1442 PL:30260/6052
Wataya watched Nori with her eyes still shadowed, noting his flushed cheeks and when the Android began to speak, she found it mildly amusing. Before the Elemi spoke, however, she was cut off by him insisting that he do something to make up for wasting her time when the mechanical being was just wasting EVEN MORE TIME.
"Alright fine, if you'll get out of my hair, help me hunt. You scare away my next meal I'll flay you alive."
Nori gave a celebratory fist pump. "Yes!" He exclaimed, before realizing he had been a bit too loud and quieted down. He gave a curious tilt of the head to the side. "...So, you hunt with a bow? Why? Isn't it faster to just speed in and hit them or something?" He offered, quirking his eyebrow in a confused manner. He wasn't sure he had ever really seen a bow properly used - they were museum artifacts or something. Why did she have one - especially when she should be more than capable of killing the stuff she wanted to eat herself? Not that Nori could relate, but still. WC: 107 TWC: 1549
