It had always been a welcoming sound of relief to her ears, though she questioned if it was still appropriate or not, knowing she wasn't the one in the healing tank this time around. Two of the three machines had current occupants, their bare forms shrouded by curtains to protect their modesty, as they slumbered from within. The thought of how much they looked like experiments was amusing, but not as much as the events that had unfolded only just hours earlier. She could picture both of their damages, rather clearly in her mind, and the expressions they both wore.
The Saiyan was exhausted, and had visible bruises all over her body, but even so, a smirk had still managed to surface as she passed out. It said a lot about how comfortable the raven-haired girl was, unafraid of going head to head with who she liked, and not holding back doing so either.
Most would fully attribute the behavior of her ally, to being the result of keeping up what the Alliance here, considers to be an outdated belief of their culture. Though they would be partially wrong. She knew all of her forces well enough, to know they all indulged in the protection she could give them, with the power that she possessed. Similar to how that particular blonde hybrid, was untouchable due to her kinship.
A fact that she enjoyed, knowing it was one of the few advantages she had, on a planet where her name beared no worth. This comfort was much different from the Majin, who didn't look like she quite enjoyed fighting the Saiyan, as much as she should have. The alien must have been even more exhausted than the other girl, having watched her explode into bits and pieces, before apparently being capable of reforming entirely.
It was rather a surprise to see, and feel that her ally had still been alive. She had already prepared herself to mourn the Majin, after getting her thoughts together, and receiving some privacy. The fact that the girl had this capability, could prove to be a plan changer.
Something which could detail how risky she could make future decisions. The kind of energy that her ally showed, upon returning, greatly reminded her of when she had first refined her own abilities as a Vampire, way back then. It was as if the Majin had been reborn.
Even so however, she had recommended the Majin properly recuperate in the healing tank anyway, not wishing to take chances on something that appeared to just be a second wind. Before they had even set foot on this mothership together however, the girl brought up a request.
The older and more experienced Saiyan male, wished to meet with her, at the alliance's headquarters. A scolding was what she had expected hours before, and one that hadn't came before she had left. Just what was the Saiyan expecting from her, that she hadn't already established?
That was the question she had been focusing on, since the Majin and the younger Saiyan, had been placed into the healing tank. She paced around the rather large room, her mind continuing to think back to the things that she had been trying to establish, but ran into obstacles doing so.
If the blonde hybrid was to serve and represent the mind of what the male Saiyan, might have also been like, then rationale was apparently never going to be enough. She could look down on herself and talk down about her own forces, trying to display some form of humiliation, beyond already admitting that her power was lower than the leader of the Alliance, but they were likely to still have issues with believing it.
She wasn't out to just kill, no matter how much that lesser male Saiyan, had likely believed her to be, or that blonde hybrid must have gave warning to. Miss untouchable seemed rather familiar with earth and its culture, so someone like her own kin, with the kind of different media and legends exploring it, were to be watchful of. But this was going off of speculation the swordsman even had possessed this knowledge.
She wouldn't have at all put it above the girl. Her own feelings and imposition for that Caesar, were rather clear, that anything the Saiyan could have said, would be biased. Though she wondered with the girl's kinship to the leader, if that would have even mattered.
Her morality was another thing that could have possibly be questioned, and it was rather amusing to know the hypocrisy that might follow, if she had to even reveal the kind of culture and practices her people involved themselves in. Most notably the annual cullings, which were meant to protect Vampires as a secrecy, or even how she showed no remorse for those that crossed what she considered to be her property.
The former was an idea she highly disagreed with, when it came to their reputation, which wasn't even considerate of being among races like the Saiyans. The practice of culling Fledglings that couldn't figure out how to survive, or defend themselves, she had no issues with at all.
They were given approximately a month since turning, to not only grow in strength, but to make it on their own. Controversial for those not apart of the culture, but here was the thing about being a Vampire. Although most were formerly human, just about any race could have been turned.
She had yet to meet a Vampire that was alien in origin, but it would certainly prove and establish that they had their own practices that should be respected, even if it involved taking the lives of their own. While the latter, was simply setting boundaries and jurisdictions.
That one less experienced male Saiyan, so could have easily died by her hands. But in doing so, she would ruin any standing she had around here, despite the Alliance here not being familiar with the man. It would also go on to prove that blonde hybrid and her assumptions right.
Expecting one culture to understand another, was already quite difficult to do, if they involved taking lives. People so often liked to impose their own morality onto others, that no matter the reasons behind them, what she and her kin did, could simply be seen as wrong.
Didn't matter if she no longer partake in those kind of cullings, as much as she used to, or really sought out others to test her power. They would simply go on to believe that she was playing the role of a Villain, as if life could so easily place someone in such a category.
These types would never see her as the type to concede herself, and most likely, those who were at the Guru's Lookout hours before, had believed her to be that kind of person. Being busy dealing with her Saiyan, after all, was rather easy to miss what she had told the Namekian.
That she was still human enough, and possessed ample humility, to be able to admit that she fought for her allies. Represented that she was their mercy, vengeance, and their determination, knowing they lacked the power to do what they wished themselves. Yet, even that had its issues.
While she might have believed herself to have a way with words, most of that success came from her flaunting of power, to make up for the fact that she would forever have the physical appearance of a sixteen year old. It was only her appearance as a Matriarch, did she look older.
But with or without flaunting her strength around, she had confidence. The air had changed, and she felt the girl's appearance, well before her cousin had walked onto the mothership, and peeking her head into the room. That tone of hers, no matter what the situation was, would always be rather snappy and direct. Something which put a smile on her face, as she stopped her pacing, and turned to the red-head at the doorway.
"So you done eying these two, or what?"
That's right. They were supposed to talk, weren't they? Nothing that was unusual for them, though she hadn't particularly been able to fully commit to the conversation. Become a Matriarch and gaining the abilities, brought on some rather new difficulties for her.
"Yeah, I am."
"Good, cause maybe we should actually kick it back to earth."
But that was nothing that couldn't have been fixed. If her own allies were starting to get a hang of their own growth in power, there was no reason she couldn't have done the same. Leaving the ship with her cousin, the skies have revealed themselves to have naturally darken.
The air back on their own planet, had always been rather cooling, what with West City having a desert outside its vicinity. But with the lack of infrastructure on this planet, which involve the kind of different gases that could be toxic to the environment, the difference was noticeable here. Leaving the planet as soon as they could, had already been apart of her plan, knowing the kind of hostility they had already been shown.
With earth having already seemed like it had calmed down, according to those who could sense power across even the galaxy, there was no reason to stick around here any longer. The leader of this alliance should understand that repairs were likely to be in need, if he was involved.
There would be new issues waiting for her there as well, knowing there were likely a portion of her employees, who hadn't followed her instructions of hiding in the underground bunkers. The only Vampire she had sired, had likely saved several people, against her orders to just pick up those she knew, but that was nowhere near enough of those vital to the Capsule Corp name. Though she would worry about that later.
"We will, just as soon as I speak with one of the Saiyans here. Seeing as how it's night now, we'll likely wind up waiting until morning, so I would advise getting out everything you wish to say now. I know full well I haven't been as eager as I should."
"Sounds as boring as usual, but alright, I can fix that."
As the red-head had went on about the things bothering her, she thought back to the bubbling sounds of the healing tank.

As the night went on, Toru had expected Rukia to show up at the base at some point, though the longer he waited the more he realized she wasn't coming. It was a bit of a disappointment, though not completely unexpected. She had been shown quite a bit of hostility from one of the Alliance's own and he could only imagine it left a bad taste in the girls mouth. While they had established a relation with Earth and Rukia herself, he still wasn't quite sold on her. He understood what she was telling them her motives were, but there was just something that bothered him...
Not necessarily about Rukia herself either, maybe it was just his own paranoia making him see phantoms where there were none... that was an entirely valid possibility, but with all this stress, that was exactly why he wanted to just sit down and talk to her, see just what it was she had been after by challenging the Namekian...
Then there was the matter of that Saiyan that allied herself to her... She was violent, quite violent and seemed to lack complete control over her own impulses. While that wasn't the kind of person he wanted in the Alliance... she did need to learn. Perhaps he could make a deal with Rukia to have her stay here after-all... as an Emissary or what have you. He was sure there was a member of the Alliance somewhere that would go with Rukia in this saiyan's place as their own Emissary...
"Damn I'm thinking like such an adult... when did that happen?" Toru said with a sigh, leaning back in the office's chair as he passed his hand through his hair. A spot of gray could be seen as he passed his hands along the hair and the man grumbled. The part about being half human, was the fact that he aged differently then other saiyans... he really was feeling his age. While he wasn't all that old, everything he had been through was catching up to him much faster.
"Right, well I suppose I should be getting some sleep then. Going out to find her this late would seem more than a little creepy. I'm sure Mitsuba is waiting for me to get home anyways." That thought brought a small smile to his lips, knowing that his youngest daughter was nearby and actually wanted to be around him. 1 out of 3 wasn't all that bad was it? He pushed himself up straight then headed out of the citadel, setting up the security system as he left. He would then stick his hands in his pockets and chose to walk the rest of the way home. Without flying, it would take him a good 15 minutes to get there.

>Toru's out in the open if you were wandering around at night.
Sometimes she wondered how appropriate it was, to involve her own family and friends into this life of hers.
They got into danger rather frequently, with the kind of strength that she possessed, that the others just couldn't come close to. Her cousin, and those from her personal life, might have been rather supportive about it, but they didn't have to be.
Those she had made into her allies, served as enough of a force without them. The persistence shown by her family and friends, really just made it to where they were shouldering burdens that only she should be the one carrying for them.
Something she had realized, listening to the red-head speak. Even while stuck on this planet, the girl's thoughts were still able to look forward to the kind of annoyances that their own planet had in store for them, whenever they got back there.
None of them had really doubted with the things that had likely went on down on earth, that the surroundings were likely to have taken quite a toll. Repairs would be needed, and were very likely to cost a fortune in its infrastructure.
But with how often ki was used around the world, that was really only to be expected. It acted as a sample of what to expect when given power, though it was only people like her, that would really outshine and represent what others couldn't achieve.
"...And don't even get me started on how many people are going to sulk if the worst had happened to them. You know there are casualties too, and they'll be up your ass about it."
"While true, it's nothing I haven't already given thought to. I'll be counting on you and the others to make sure I'm left in peace, while I write to the families."
What the other girl continued to be less boring, was talking down on the employees that had been advised what to do. Specific people the girl disliked, believing that she was entitled a different sense of respect for the red-head's kinship.
There were those who would say it was wrong, but they simply didn't understand the reason Capsule Corp had any minuscule competition at all, was because a market where the company was the only seller, was rather boring.
Why be the only provider able to show their innovations, and follow only one practice? Growth only occurred when it came to technology, when people were allowed to try and do better than their competitors. Joy came from their failure.
Her having to show sympathy for loss lives of those she personally didn't know, would wind up taking quite a bit of time, but wasn't as difficult as she made it out to be. Offering some small compensation and a personal visit should solve things.
There would be those who'd try and attack her or shout obscenities for things that were out of control. But those would be shut down not even a word after such intentions were clear to her. Power wasn't something that should be crossed.
She could so easily bury any records of a death by her hands, knowing there were only so many employees she had, who were even remotely too valuable to lose. Had the kind of scientific minds that placed them over their competitors.
Though there was also the simpler route of outing the loss lives as whistleblowers of their respective jobs. Tarnish their reputation and make it rather difficult to pick up a job that could properly afford housing. It depended on their worth.
"If they give me any trouble, do remind of the android project. It may not be perfect, but they're not as irreplaceable as they think."
"Better than putting up with all the crying, that's for sure."
The air of the night only seemed to get more cooler, the more they walked away from the mothership and mansion, leaving what light was around to guide them. There wasn't really a place she had in mind for them to really head towards.
Their time together now, was merely supposed to reconcile what she hadn't been able to give before. Her cousin's happiness, along with those she associated in her more human life, simply remained to be the reason why she allowed them to persist and pursue the burdens that she had to take on, as someone who had no kinship to the alliance here. Not even companionship to those they knew.
A sigh had escaped her at the thought, prompting a questioning eyebrow to be raised, before that change in the air had hit her senses. The signature was unfamiliar to the red-head, but the glint of recognition in her eye, and the apologetic smile she gave the girl, had said enough about just the kind of person this was. This was business. Nothing which had to be long to take care of.
Though the likelihood she wouldn't get lost in the conversation that came with discussing business, just wasn't something which could be said about her. Just like when she had met the leader of this alliance, she had tried to go over everything she possibly could, outlining the meticulous details and considering things that might need answers to down the line. But the difficultly lied in being unaware of just how much this man had already been told of, and how much he had even heard at the lookout.
The red-head rolled her eyes, giving a wave, which was her cue to head towards the ki that she was feeling in the air. As she ran from place to place, the light of the night sky had truly brought attention the pale skin she gained after turning into a Vampire.
Its lack of color, she would have thought those who didn't know of her kin's origins, would have felt more sympathy for, though it wasn't much of a surprise that it wasn't. Power like her own, just blinded those who couldn't match it. Made them fear things that shouldn't have been a worry. Even the Guru of this planet, understanding as he was, clearly had some fear towards her strength.
Didn't matter how many disclaimers she had already given, or her humility and acceptance that there was stronger out there. If not for future prospects, and the reward that came from drinking the Namekian's blood, she would have felt more ire about it.
The blurring of the world around her, and the sight of the figure that she was looking for, was perhaps the best feeling that came with being a Vampire. Hardly did she have to really try to elicit the excitement of adrenaline within her. At least, for a short period. It did decently with calming her thoughts, as she stopped some feet away from the man, who seemed to be taking a night stroll out as well. Rather humorous to see, knowing people usually preferred to fly. Though these were supposed pacifasts.
"My condolences for not sending a messenger for your request, but I was rather preoccupied with a couple of other affairs. I must admit it's a bit odd to be lectured now, when you were offered the chance to do so hours before. But I have time to refute any claims that blonde swordsman might have made while I was gone, and even more if need be."
It was no secret the blonde disliked her, after all.

Toru stretched his arms up above his head, a pop being heard from one of his shoulders as he did so. A satisfied yawn escaped his lips as he walked towards home, tilting his head back to enjoy the stars. Night time on Namek didn't last very long, and it brought him a strange sense of peace... the dark skies reminded him a lot of home, not of Natto but of Earth. He had spent a lot of nights under the stars at the farm, and even when he trained at the lookout. It was always calming, with or without a moon. It was no wonder it was putting him straight to sleep even as he walked.
Though the sudden approach of a higher power level did draw his attention from them. He recognized it immediately as that of the girl from the earlier altercation. Rukia, their supposed ally. He supposed he couldn't say that though, it wasn't as if she had done anything wrong, it was really that nut job of a saiyan ally of hers. As Rukia approached Toru would stop walking, lowering his outstretched arms to lay on the nape of his neck as he looked at her until she stopped and finally addressed him.
She didn't seem too pleased, though then again she hadn't the last time they met either. He wondered if the girl ever genuinely smiled at all? He let those thoughts die down though and let her finish. He honestly felt like an adult about to scold a child, or at least that's what it would look like on the outside looking in.
"I hardly asked you to come visit me for a lecture miss Rukia. Maybe I'm a little de-sensitized to those kinds of scenario's, but it was well under control, wasn't it? You've got a strong grip on those friends of yours, they listen to you like a well trained team. Heh, no I"m not going to scold anyone about what happened, isn't my place too. I actually wanted to just talk about a few things. Did you want to walk with me?" He offered, finally lowering one hand and offering to Rukia, much like an earthling gentleman might do when walking with someone down the red carpet. He didn't mean to sound like a flirt, but his joking nature made it sound as such. He truly did just want to talk to her, see what she was truly like, and eventually get on to talk about that Saiyaness.
"How are you liking Namek? It's quite different from Earth isn't it?" He asked very casually, whether or not she took his hand. If she did, then he would gently place it on his arm and continue walking with her at a slower pace as he spoke
It was hard to say exactly how many times she had been on and left the planet.
Time was a measure that passed rather easily whenever she was swamped in her own thoughts, which being the head of Capsule Corp would do, for someone who had only turned seventeen, not that long ago. One moment she would find herself working at the office, outlining what was and wasn't simple to not only her, but others. A rather often occurrence, as she only had so much basic knowledge of the business world. Though her own lack of own expertise, was made up for in what was there to be considered.
Even after working as the head of the company for a year, with her mother acting as the public face until she was of proper age, it would have been foolish to believe her employees wouldn't try and gain some kind of advantage over her. Papers, even during her absence, were to only be signed and approved when she saw them, to prevent any loopholes of her position being passed to someone else. For such a folly to happen, it should be guaranteed there would be hell to pay, no matter how minuscule in damage it was.
Humans so often believed themselves to be better than what they couldn't have possibly hoped to understand. Her pale skin wasn't completely out of place in the environment, though it wasn't necessarily a secret that she was no longer human either.
The flaunting of power she so often exuded, reminded them of just who was in charge. How back when she had first taken over the company, it would have been so easy to wipe out the whole corporation, and replace them with people she saw fit to be there.
But that would have simply been a waste of lives, and comparable to having those in IT field, manage a business. Such a thing was very likely to have ran the corporation to the ground, and put a dent into the Brief's family long history of positive reputation.
If it wasn't her place of work she had found herself at, it would have been making her way around the mansion. Brief settlement of conflicts that was rather simple to her eyes, and it was only moments where she was ask to spar, did time go by even quicker.
Things like fighting against her allies, had proven to be rather dulling, since being able to access the strength of a Matriarch. Though a lot of things had changed, even well before this particular transformation. She had broke away from her research, after perfecting what she needed to go up against beings of power she had no data on, when it came to her old project of documentation.
There was her speed in the way of handling things, and the kind of reach that her own attacks held. Even the simple protection that barriers provided, whenever her natural speed couldn't do the job, would prove to be beneficial for her in battle.
The question came on whether or not she could win with these skills, and just how doing so, would even benefit her. It had many months since she had stopped seeking out beings whose species she wasn't aware of, when it came to their fighting style and culture. Even more since she had invited a stranger into the mansion, in order to get a better feel of who they were.
She supposed it was appropriate to call that time of hers a phase. The beginnings of branching into her own leadership, rather than be just a simple number back in her old coven. Such things seemed far less appealing to her now, and was only continuing to do so as she grew in power. Why seek out fights, when they could come to her? Send those under her to deal with those less important.
The Saiyan and Majin truly no longer had to really serve as her guards, as they had started out as. She had the upmost comfort in every action and decision she did and could make, because things were no longer about traveling the world, and challenging people to flaunt her power. It was all about business, and keeping those she felt below her, right where they should be.
Winning was an aspect of life brought on by others to prove their own worth. Boost what fragile egos they had. For her, there was no qualms with conceding, if it could be helped. She was ways away the fledgling she used to be, and all that kept imposing itself into her mind lately, was to be a proper mother of Vampires. She was only two more away from forming a council of Matriarchs.
But that wasn't going to stop her from focusing on her side prospect of raising her liege. To getting her own kin into having a known reputation that went beyond the inaccuracies that the media portrayed about them. Garlic and holy water was such a laughable way to stop them, while also proving just how desperate some people could be, to resort not by their strength, but mere objects.
"Friends is a particularly strong word for the Saiyan and Majin, but you'd be accurate about the others."
That had been the first thing she saw needed clarification. Both of the girls might have been around the longest, but it was inappropriate to simply refer to themselves as being that closely associated with her. She would forever appear to look sixteen, until the day her body gave out, or until vaporization. The Saiyan was at least two years younger than her, and only just beginning to look less like a child, while the Majin was a year older, and not particularly the type to really be social in the first place.
It was easier to see them more as employees, beyond being and serving as their representative, when it came to the kind of power they lacked. With or without her transformation, her expression still remained as studious as anyone could expect from her.
Though this was merely business to her. Her youthful features, and the shorter stature she was limited to without ascending into her Matriarch form, could hardly be taken seriously without backing it up in demeanor. One of the prices to pay for her decision.
"I would also have to disagree about what you consider to be your place to intervene, knowing how long you kept up that transformation of yours, even after being told of the situation, and your own relationship with the leader of this alliance.
Looking after the place while he's gone, seems fitting to impose what boundaries you wish. Even that blonde swordsman, who had done nothing more than comfortably ward off the Saiyan's attacks with the back of her sword, has a right to establish what she wishes, due to her kinship. It would be a biased order because of her feelings for this 'Caesar', but I doubt the girl would care.
The self-righteousness and justice she speaks of, it's rather evident are contrived even if the one who hurt her, hadn't been visually imposed onto my actions. She fears power she doesn't have, just like any other, and I'll repeat what I had told the Guru, when I say she and I are alike in that way. We go around establishing what we can, like some divine intervention, because others lack what we have."
This was another thing that should have been out of the way. A reminder that he kept himself blond throughout the events that had unfolded, and how since he was clearly watching over the planet while Koma was absent, that he could also do what he wished.
There was also the kind of effort the swordsman had contributed to herself, and the status that came with being untouchable, despite being rather biased with who she feared. It was only around people like her own forces, where the blonde didn't care.
"A bit unconventional to be guided, but whatever helps aid your thoughts."
She supposed that was what he was doing, offering a hand, which she had accepted, and found was simply placed onto his arm. Without the vibrant red eyes she so often usually had, there wasn't particularly a need to flaunt a more imposing air, where it wasn't needed. Rarely did she not at least sustain one of her lesser transformations, like the strength of a Countess.
So it was rather safe to say he had caught her in a rather good mood, even if she didn't show it on her features. But what her own demeanor lacked, could at least be picked up on in her tone, which was rather reminiscent of having solved something one might have been pondering for quite awhile. Something that was true, as she was certain her reading on the blonde was accurate.
The only thing that could really influenced her own judgment, was if that vocal hybrid was in the care of a child or something. That kind of factor was even more sickening in her eyes, knowing it was better to retire at that point of one's life.
"Beyond the nights here being shorter, another reason I hadn't rushed your call, the lack of infrastructure does provide a noticeable and enjoyable difference in the air, yes. With how often I hear about planets being sold by the Kold Demons, it makes me want to consider ruling one of my own, if not for their tendency to own slaves from what I hear."
Something which the inhabitants of a planet they were selling, were likely to be. She had rather strong opinions when it came to an idea like ownership, but the reality was, the distinction came from what those under were allowed to do, and how they were treated.
The word would still forever remain to be sickening in her eyes.

He didn't say anything whenever Rukia corrected him about his comment towards her allies. Apparently not all of them where her friends, which made him wonder just what they were to the young girl? Or what she thought made someone a friend. These companions seemed awfully loyal to her to be anything less than that…
“Well, honestly, I probably could go about ordering people around and imposing my own whim on them, but that’s not how we work. This isn’t a hierarchy, there isn’t a King or Queen therefore bloodline doesn’t matter. Whether I’m Komatsu’s uncle, or Cambia is his sister, that has no bearing on how much influence we have over the Alliance. Everything is structured diplomatically.
As for Cambia… You’ll have to have some patience with the girl. She had a hard upbringing and spent the last few years on the lookout with her elder sister who’s… far more self righteous than even Cambia. She hasn’t been around other saiyans much so we’ll try and get her a little more down to Earth.
I did want to apologize for the way she acted, it wasn’t fair of her to compare you to someone like Caesar given the circumstances. As for myself, I kept up my transformation not because of you, but because of your saiyan ally. Saiyans who are that battle hungry can be… difficult. If your majin hadn’t been there I’m sure Cambia would have had a hard time with her, and to prevent any casualties or damage to the planet I wanted to be ready. I meant no offense.” He spoke on, addressing her obvious issue with Cambia, as well as the misconception she had about how much influence he had here in the alliance. He was sure he could have all the influence he could ever want over them, get them to do anything he wanted but… it just wasn’t right to do it, or right to even think about having them do that. It sounded too much like something the Kingdom would do… to oppress people until they all had the same train of thought…
As he guided Rukia along the road he couldn’t help but chuckle softly when she mentioned how unconventional it was. Sure it could seem that way, but Toru had been raised to be a gentleman when he could, and being an Earthling he figured Rukia could appreciate such an effort. It was strange… even though she accepted him putting her hand on his arm, she still didn’t seem to understand the gesture. Either she truly was as young as she looked, or she had been away from society for quite some time… or then again this could just be ancient history by now he supposed. He had been gone almost 20years.
The two continued to walk along the ‘streets’ of the citadel which so far consisted only of patted down grass from the trails made by the saiyans themselves. Still, it was noticeable enough to see they were headed to a more thinly populated area of the small town. He listed to Rukia’s words in silence, saying nothing immediate to her desire to rule over a planet of her own… With any planet sold by the Planet Trade Organization, there were usually slaves associated to that… native beings forced to work their own homes for someone elses usually selfish desire. He highly doubted anyone had noble reasons for wanting to own a planet… but just maybe he could spin it enough to change her intent.
“Well, the planet trade organization doesn’t exist anymore thanks to Nasu, I believe all of the planets under their control are either now free, or rules by nephew. If that’s really what you wanted to do then I assume you would have to approach him when he returns. Although I have to admit it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a planet… a safe place to evacuate the Earthlings if things continue to go south.” He suggested in an attempt to steer the conversation away from slavery. He liked the arrangement they had here with the Namekians, and felt it would be beneficial for all to try and co-exist with other species like this. They were learning so much they never knew about, and they were teaching the Namekians so much in return. It was a good, beneficial relationship for both parties.
“Anwyays… I suppose I should get to the point shouldn’t I? I was actually curious about that Saiyan Ally of yours… she seems battle born, even just as intense as the Saiyans from the old Empire… was she once one of their soldiers? She doesn’t seem old enough to be… Is she a Vampire as well?” He asked curiously now, looking over towards the red eyed girl. He seemed genuinely curious, no trace of malice on his face as he asked her these questions.
If he had just wanted to, he could have easily made those around here bend to his will, likely being one of those around, who greatly excelled in power. Of course she was going to disagree again about status not mattering, at least from the perspective of another culture. The thing that bugged her the most when it came to approaching a being of power, was when someone who had too wide of a gap, felt themselves able to do such a thing. As if those who exceeded them, was like any other person around. Someone who didn’t require a request to meet.
It wasn’t a good display of power in her eyes. Allowed too many common folk to approach, and possibly do what they wished with territory they shouldn’t have crossed in the first place, lest they wish to die. Many of those foolish tried to approach the various manors she owned around various places, but always tended to fail doing so. Any signature around they didn’t recognize, those under her liege had permission to do what they wish to them. One life wouldn’t be notice, after all.
Better to let the locals believe they had simply been attacked by one of the animals that could be found around the outer parts of the city, or by bandits. No one was going to ask, if they couldn’t find any issues around in the very first place.
”Koma had noted something similar, when my forces had first arrived on the planet. Though I have to say what hadn’t occurred to me back then, was that this alliance’s mentality, will still remain rather strange to an outsider. Those on earth especially.
You could call it a viable concern if you so wish, for people who lack power, to normally not just waltz around anywhere they pleased, meeting the highest and respected positions. Even my own kin still make out the less powerful to be just a number.”
Knowing he was likely to be a hybrid like plenty of those here, he must have already had some knowledge of earth. Though seeing as how they appeared to be testing knowledge, at least in her eyes, it was good to affirm what she wasn’t sure he knew.
Doing so had brought the opportunity to introduce the hierarchy that covens so often lived by, which she would never consider to be a bad mentality. It brought out leadership if anything, and made the smarter ones that chose to turn, to go branch out.
”A hard upbringing, is what I’ve found so many people have used as an excuse for their behavior. I studied enough cultures during my earlier time as a Vampire, to know the data I’ve gathered proves to be a fact. It’s how they deal with it, that causes them to be less typical than others.
There’s no secret to my own power for example, than persistence. The recognition that power gave the confidence that I had lacked before I became a Vampire, and with each obstacle that came from being so, it merely shaped into something natural to behave the way I currently do.”
Of course knowing the blonde hybrid much more than she did, the man was going to show sympathy for someone he knew far better than her. Though she wouldn’t say he was wrong for doing so either, as confrontational as that girl was.
Her own background and rise to power, was rather simple compared to most. Easily summed down to a teenage girl being what she couldn’t, and being offered the opportunity to do so, and much more than she could have ever really figured.
”As I’ve told the Guru, I care not for something like an apology. She should look beyond her own feelings for this Caesar and realize there’s a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy, to keep making others out to be what they’re not. I have no interest in playing the role of a Villain, though I will say I’d rather hear more about this man she’s proven to be so afraid of, and confirmation that this ‘earned’ self-righteousness she spoke of, include some child whose under her care.
She made him out to be some destructive force on earth, which events must have been secluded beyond the city my forces and I found ourselves living in. Perhaps had even been news buried by the other cities.”
As much as she had detested talking about the blonde, the girl served to be a branch into other things she had the opportunity to ask about, or continue to reiterate about herself. It helped that they were rather subtle and ‘polite’ insults.
She could choose to talk down on the hybrid’s way of confronting those with power, and how it might possibly cause others to play for what the Alliance here would consider to be the wrong side. Not everyone could really possess her rationale and consideration, no matter how much easier life could be, if people really thought about the consequences of their actions.
There was nothing for her to really say about his caution for why he remained in his transformer state. Nothing which would have amounted to more than asserting the lavender-haired Vampire would have taken care of things if needed.
But that wasn’t something which was necessary, knowing he had already spoke about her own confidence, that she had her forces under her control. So she allowed it to go without argument this time around, her attention briefly turning to their surrounds instead, as it became more noticeable just how much influence the Alliance here had on the planet. Grass was different here.
Long since patted down by footing, and acting as roads. This part of the region wasn’t quite something she had really ventured off into, preferring the region where she had docked her spaceship and a spare mansion instead.
”I suppose that would sum up my intentions for such a place. Though more to keep my kin in one area, as a Matriarch should, rather than to evacuate. I must admit however, I don’t plan for my forces and I to come back to this planet, beyond any business your leader imposes. It’s likely better that way.”
Beggars couldn’t really be choosers. This walk this Saiyan was taking her on seemed like it was ending sooner than she expected, which was fine. She was getting the answers she was looking for without much trouble. As it really should be.
If things were to really end so soon however, then it was only fitting to prepare herself for the travel back. Other than a slight spike of change in the air, and her body flickering for a moment, one of her her weakest transformations, have grown to be a rather simple transition. An increase in height that made some wonder if it was an illusion, and traditional glowing red eyes.
Although the power that came from possessing refined control, was hardly as vibrant as her other forms. This was merely like lighting a candle in what could have possibly came, if she had really chosen to take such interest.
”Hm? Is that really all that you had on your mind? Though you’ve said you weren’t here to lecture, I still can’t help but expect to be confronted about why I interrupted the Guru. So many of those not under my charge seemed to be so puzzled by it. Don’t think I can ever forget the number of times I had to keep repeating my intentions.”
The idea of the Saiyan being a Vampire, was rather laughable. That girl was a prime example of her kin allowing a brute to turn, and then being lucky enough to somehow stumble pass the stage of being a fledgling. It would be disgraceful.
Though he wasn’t completely wrong, when it came to being something she had once considered to do with those under her, should they wish to go through with the process. Plans tended to change however, as life tended to make it.
"To answer your question, she isn’t. From my understanding of her habit with speaking indirectly to people, and a sentence at a time, unless she has access the powers of a Super Saiyan, she had voluntarily left that other faction before the planet’s name had changed.
Something which has occurred how many times now? Two? Three? Boredom was what it was attributed to, beyond being abandoned with a few other Saiyans onto earth. I’m sure you’re quite accurate it was before any changing battle where she had more worth than she had started out as.”
It had always proven to be difficult to talk to the Saiyan because of the girl’s own behavior. Brain scans have shown there wasn’t any mental trauma that caused her ally to speak the way she did, implying it was the girl’s own preference.
The better explanation that she preferred however, was that the Saiyan was simply less intelligent, and thus more simple-minded than any of the others that found their home on this planet. It was far from being a bad thing.
”Those who are apart of my kin typically have paler skin, and I’ve been told that my body exerts coldness. Though everything from our perspective, still feels as normal as before we had turned, albeit a bit dulling here and there.
And since those who had seen what I did with the Guru seem to show concern, a bite from myself won’t infect anyone, nor transition him to be into my kin, lest he holds some desire to be what I am. The blood magic binded to us, has been much kinder than others. It’s rather questionable to say if there are really consequences to this power."
Of course she hadn’t mentioned what state of euphoria could arise from becoming a Vampire, simply because she didn’t consider it to be something detrimental. Maybe perhaps for those who lacked the power to dull it like everything else.
Admitting she had blood magic inside of her, was really nothing more than another reason it was wrong to be so confrontational, having to be the slave of an exchange for pursuing power, through the feeding of blood. But like a majority that came with being a Vampire, it was something to get by as they progressed in power. Those that didn’t simply had to just suffer through it.
With all this talk about her own kin, it was rather easy to find visible amusement in these questions, and things she had chosen to share on her own. As much as being a Matriarch seemed to cause her to care less for most things, she still found her tone becoming rather playful now and again, when it came to certain matters. This seeming to be one of them.
"You can expect my forces to be gone by this planet’s morning. We can only really imagine the repairs needed back on earth, that my corporation could provide, given the time."

“You’re right, it’s not a good excuse for her behavior, but it’s what we have to work with right now. I won’t keep apologizing, but she’ll change… some of us are dealing with our current situation a lot better than others are.
As for Caesar, well truthfully you’re nothing like him, at least not from what I’ve seen. His actual name is Jarvis, he’s a hybrid saiyan though I don’t really know what other genetics he has… He used Earth’s dragonballs to wish himself a god and got all of the powers tied to that wish. From what I understand he’s constantly terrorizing those on Earth, destroying cities and tearing families apart. More recently he attacked our home, planet Natto, and destroyed it right under our feet… so none of us have any love for that man. Every time we find ourselves in a fight we weren’t expecting, we can’t help but see the worst possible outcome now, you know? I won’t lie when I say we’re afraid. I mean, I am at least… and if someone as strong as me is afraid of him, then how could any of the others hope not to be?” Toru explained both about Cambia and Caesar as he would slow to a stop. The pair would be nearing a dimly lit home, a smaller figure milling about inside minding it’s own business. Toru however looked distant for a moment as he caught himself remembering the war on Natto… the war to save their home that they had lost so badly. So many people died, so many people he couldn’t protect no matter how strong he was in the end… strength didn’t matter when you couldn’t use it.
He pulled himself out of his own dark memories however to look back towards Rukis still holding onto his arm, right where he had placed her before they left. He listened to what she had to say about the saiyaness and nodded. It honestly reminded him of Leena and how she had to suffer under the Empire for many years and again, he couldn’t do anything to save her… she had to find her own way, as did this saiyaness.
“If you wouldn’t mind… I mean, I might be overstepping my bounds here but I was wondering if you might leave her to us? If she isn’t a vampire, then it might benefit her to be around other saiyans? She might not share the same mentality as myself and some of the others but that doesn’t matter. She really enjoys fighting, we have an arena and an abundance of warriors who would be happy to train with her. Maybe we can make her feel at home here.
Of course, I could send you one of our warriors in return, they could be considered… ambassadors if you will. A way for our factions to stay in touch with one another. Our culture seems strange to you now, but maybe this way we can benefit by learning from one another.
I think having you as an ally is definitely in our best interest, and as I’m sure Koma’s stated before we will be glad to help you out wherever you need it as well.
As for what happened with the Guru, I’m not worried about it in the slightest. You did make your intentions quite clear from the start. And I do understand your point of view. I may be saiyan but I’m also half human, I tend to think a little differently than the others here.” He continued, pausing only whenever Rukia spoke up about what it was like to become a vampire, and what it was like to be around one. It was interesting to hear as he had heard so many stories as a child about them. Vampires were supposed to be cold to the touch because their bodies were technically dead, they had super sharp fangs to bite you in the neck with and just one bite would turn you into a vampire! They couldn’t be out in the daylight, hated garlic and holy crosses and talked in a funny accent… at least, that’s what his grandfather had told him as a child. Clearly, none of that was true. Ryuteki was alright and he had seen miss Rukia out in plain daylight. He wondered how much more he could learn from her, though didn’t press the matter as it could be quite personal. Instead he only nodded his head towards the young Vampire.
“Very well, I hope your stay on Namek wasn’t too unpleasant. I can send you home with a datadisk of the reports we’ve gotten from Earth in regards to the damage if you’d like. IT might make your job a little bit easier to plan out.” He offered her kindly.
She might have looked as young as she did without those Vampiric forms of hers, but as an ageless being, number didn't matter. All those territorial bouts she was dragged in as a fledgling, and having to take away life after life, brought plenty of instances where she reflected the decisions of her own life.
The matter of what was right and wrong, was merely a construct by one society, which her research on other species, had more than proven there were differences. People were allowed to do what they wished, and judge others how they wished, but the fact of the matter was, they were imposing their own upbringings onto others. This blonde swordsman, if she so truly wanted to take her time in facing her own fears, then so be it. There would be consequences.
She might not be playing the role of a Villain, as she was practically so encouraged by the blonde to do, but that didn't mean she couldn't continue to kill or immobilize those she saw fit. At least, back on Earth, where she had more jurisdiction to do as she had wished, knowing how much wrongs laid hidden.
"So long as you're aware she's potentially pushing others onto a more violent path, I can continue caring less about how long she takes to change. Her folly will continue to present itself with her decisions, and perhaps cost the lives of those she cares for, as well."
If there was one thing she wished about being a Vampire, it was to utilize the kind of ominous presence they could be known for, into influencing the decisions of the universe. A curse, so to speak, made true and empowered by her own distaste towards the blonde. The swordsman wouldn't know suffering until it was too late, if the girl was really going to keep this hostility up. So ridiculous it was, to go and fear anyone with some semblance of power.
Did the hybrid really expect anyone who wasn't Saiyan, to always be low in power? Their genes, with how often they mixed with others, was only going to continue being more diluted, until they resembled nothing more than the species they intermingled with. Any behavior that might been attributed to resembling Saiyans, would only be nothing more than conjecture, and a mistaken belief, as genes would always be more superior than personality.
”Exactly as I’ve been saying. Other than holding a semblance of power, and my own confidence, she’s merely imposing her fears for this guy onto me. With how territorial my kin can be, I can’t say I can look down on the way he seems to have chosen to flaunt his power. It’s purely what happens after the fact, that determines whether he’s a threat. At least, in my eyes.
I can say however, having been born and raised in West City back on Earth, I do consider the area to be under my protection. Any attacks on the place, it’s rather a guarantee my forces and I will do whatever we can to preserve the area and such. Though we won’t be responsible for anyone too stubborn to listen, as I’m sure has already happened, and will continue to. That’s just human nature.”
Nothing he had really said about this guy’s actions, really seemed out of the ordinary to her. So he had attacked Earth cities, to go and flaunt his power. Nothing she hadn’t done before on a much smaller scale, knowing that there were limits, to just what destruction she could really cause. This guy’s actions could have easily also be summed up to him trying to seek attention, if not for him apparently attacking the Saiyan’s homeworld for whatever reason.
There was purpose behind these actions. There had to have been. It couldn’t have just been destruction just for the fun of it. He must have enjoyed seeing the suffering or something of those he chose to use his power on. It was her guess, which was going to be as good as any, knowing no one on this planet, would really go and sympathize with such actions. He had already admitted he and the others held fear, going up against this guy. Which she understood.
That was always going to be the case, when another had much more power. The feeling of helplessness might come rather easily, only shaken off by the literal pain that could come from hesitance. A reminder of just why one had been fighting in the first place. What or who for, if anything or anyone. Resolve was just something that was necessary, if one were to make up for, and push through the difference in power. It wouldn’t be easy, but nothing really was.
”Overcoming the gap in power wouldn’t be an easy feat, though it would be a mistake to believe it’s even necessary. Perhaps it’s because I have no personal ties beyond those who serve under me, but I’ve never thought of it as an issue to concede or flee, so long as those I’m close to are with me.”
There was a chance that the number of those she knew, would only grow less and less, going with this line of thinking, as she worked on trying to obtain the power she lacked in such a scenario. One which would have her be forced to watch those she considered important, have their lives taken away. Perhaps even watch what she had built for herself, be destroyed by the person she couldn’t stop. That kind of thing, made it so typical to change one’s beliefs.
Cause the focus of her life in such a scenario, be wasted on seeking vengeance, rather than moving on. She would be playing at the hand of someone else, rather than her own. Something which would practically put her into a position where she was ordinary again. After all, what was a Matriarch, to the being of power this guy seemed to be? Child’s play? It wasn’t a thought she liked, and it was only the sight of the building they approached, that stopped her slight frown.
Of course someone was still around, waiting for him. But it was the same for her, back at the mansion, where she knew her cousin likely was by now. The dark was never really something which someone still human, would ever be comfortable walking through. Especially when considering the fact that they were on a different planet. One which the red-head only had a day’s worth of exposure to, compared to the others that had been here for much longer.
”Koma had made a similar suggestion, though I don’t believe it had really gotten anywhere. If you wish to try yourself, then I won’t oppose. Useful as she has been, I’ll have to admit the trade your proposing is a bit too interesting to pass up. The Majin will likely also have to be kept here however, since those two have been together longer than any of the others serving under me.”
That was practically what this whole thing was. An exchange, and one which the Saiyan seemed to have a better time with actually going through with, if he was making that kind of suggestion. Dealing with the younger girl could already be quite troublesome, so it wasn’t going to be a loss, so long as who she had received in return, could adapt to the routine her forces were used to. He also had a whole point with using it as an opportunity to foster growth.
The Majin was practically an extra she couldn’t help but have to part with, if the Saiyan was supposed to stay here, seeing as how the two had dealt with each other since they had met. They would also continue to do so, if the fight earlier had really been any indication. It might have been about time for her to rely less on those two anyway, and focus more on some of the others for a change. Nothing was really difficult to do, so long as one didn’t make it such.
”So long as we’re clear there should be no reason to panic about an infection from the bite I gave, I can also draft up a contract before the rest of us leave as well. My only disappointment for being here would have to extend towards the battle that never came, with that other faction this one’s against. But I suppose there will be other opportunities.”
With that said and done, she had moved away from the man, giving a short wave, before running off in the blink of an eye. Even though it had just been the one willing to listen to her, she wanted to believe it actually would make a difference this time around. Because it would have been a lie to say the things the blonde hybrid had said, didn’t get to her at least a little. Something which most wouldn’t be able to really tell with her right off the bat.
Talking being her forte however, she wanted even more to believe they could see.

"Oh trust me I understand that. We're trying to get her settled, though as you said that isn't your problem to deal with at all but ours." Toru assured her kindly as he fell silent once more to listen to her speak. So it looked like Rukia was human after all, at least before becoming a Vampire, and she grew up in West city and still lived there now. It was nice to know that the city would be protected to a significant degree with Rukia there, he just hoped it wasn't that very city that had succumbed to Jarvis not too long ago. One way or another tragedy had struck, and the Earthlings would have to work to move past it. It killed him a little bit to know he wasn't there to help them, and he probably would never get back to living on Earth at this rate... a part of him didn't want to anymore either... He'd made jsut as many connections in the Saiyan Alliance as he had there in his childhood.
He listened to her in silence, pondering her words closely though not saying anything to them. It would seem pointless to do so actually as she wasn't wrong, and so he just nodded in agreement whenever something she said sounded right to him. When they had finally stopped in front of his house, and he had proposed the trade off however he was surprised to hear her so willing to part with the saiyaness. She didn't come alone however, it seemed she and the Majin warrior were tied at the hip and a package deal. Again, Toru would just nod as he smiled gently at the suggestion. The new Remnant Alliance was meant to be welcoming of all races, right? So having a majin around wasn't going to be a step in a bad direction. It might help some of their more cynical members to get used to aliens even more than just having the Namekians around.
"We'd be honored to have your Majin fr...ally come along as well. She'll be just as welcome here as any saiyan would. In exchange I will see to Satsu and Yasai if you are okay leaving in the morning. Those two seem to be just as tied to the hip, but I think Satsu wouldn't mind leaving Namek for a while." He assured her, thinking on previous conversations he had with the girl. Satsu was extremely loyal to the alliance, and even more so towards Komatsu. She would be a good ambassador to send with Rukia back to Earth... she had told him once that she wanted to explore the galaxy on her own someday, surely she would accept this as a chance to do just that? and with Yasai by her side she couldn't really complain, those two were mates after-all, it wouldn't be fair to separate them for such an unknown amount of time.
"I think both of our allies will have much to learn from this exchange. I hope they prove useful, I will give you our landing codes and radio signal if you need to contact us or speak to them." He stated as he was about to leave her and head into his home whenever she made mention that they didn't have to worry about the bite she had taken out of the new kami. Toru just smiled at her and waved in a dismissive manner.
"Think nothing of it, I'm not worries at all lady Rukia. We will go over the contract in the morning and smooth out the details. Have a good night."
