It was incredible things were actually going so well.
She couldn't sense the blonde giving either of the two demons any trouble, and the power coming from the one she knew, was easily clashing against what had stopped it from destroying East City in the first place. An explosion was something unmistakable in nearly all of the senses that so many beings had.
Whether sight, sound, or smell, anyone within the area would recognize just what was going on. The best thing was, what little population had chosen not to evacuate from the city on their own whims, were the only backlash that could have possibly come from this. Their deaths or grievous injuries would be accounted for, with no one of importance to them, around. Even her own role of protecting a domain she didn't consider to be hers, she could argue against.
The blonde had came here without an army after all. Whether or not it was their own well being, it was more than a foolish thing to do, when trying to take such a role of power. The fact that the girl had also believed that those of importance couldn't be targeted just as well, would only support any arguing that she would have to do. Her own role as CEO of Capsule Corp in the first place, and a West City that remained running, also gave an advantage in lawyers the blonde would have to send back to earth, if she was really persistent enough to argue her to be at fault. And even then, it still wouldn't help.
There was certainly several negligent liabilities she could have argued in her favor, just because of too much precaution on the blonde's behalf, which was made only better, knowing none of these demons would ever find themselves in a court of law. They were beings of power, meant to simply serve their master.
Truly, this success would more than make up for her annoyances, that came with arguing with the blonde in the first place. What rumbling that came underneath her from the explosion of that demon, only served to give taste to what those who had died, must have felt, as the buildings around them fell.
The dust and debris that came from such a fall, would hardly be a bother to anyone who was trained, but the rubble and ashes of the buildings itself, would wind up creating a useless pile to where the city had once stood. Rather fitting, as the only thing that blonde could ever rightfully rule, was emptiness.
It still annoyed her greatly knowing the girl's pride, was strong enough to refuse working with someone she had despised, if it meant infrastructure. Now if the girl wished to make any repairs to the city at all, the blonde was going to wind up buying from West City, and what businesses Capsule Corp allowed to continue running. She could possibly even involve Dr. Ishida in this whole ordeal, as useless as he was, when it came to actually dealing with people.
What she had desired to see from this city itself, had been fulfilled for the most part. The demon she had given the means to use this power of hers, chose to defy that gift, and simply use its own to collapse the city. How the city fell, didn't matter in the end, though she still found herself disappointed, knowing she couldn't tempt it that far. Now what had mattered, was actually baiting the rest of them away from the rubble, for a conversation.
If the blonde was really as damaged as she should be, then the girl wouldn't be able to do much to stop her from seizing this kind of opportunity, in forming a proposition, as well as gain knowledge of things she didn't already know. Even confirm some of these lingering recognition she wasn't apart of.
From the feel of things, the girl wasn't unconscious, and the demons seemed persistent in sticking to that area. Either their minds were lust with rage, or they were more mindless than she had given them credit for. The only positive thing that came with such persistence, was that the demon she knew, seemed to have called upon its true power. But still nothing compared to her own, and wouldn't save it from vaporization with this charging technique of hers.
She would continue on and charge her best technique to its fullest, before deciding the next approach. The amount of control she had over it, was enough to guide its separate beams into space if she needed to, though not before killing off those who deemed on this planet, to be a bane for those 'good'.
Death shouldn't matter to them, if her memories on who their queen was, could actually be confirmed. That woman should have already experienced death once, and if not, then meeting that man should have enlightening enough, to know that death was practically meaningless without eternal rest.
Though she didn't care enough to pity them that much anyway. They were merely ideas to toss around, and might or might not be something she would go through with. Much like how there wasn't even a need for her to lift up her hands to charge up this attack. It was just expectant to be in such a position, and whichever of the two demons who would arrive and answer her call, she would easily be able to fire if there was a need for it. And she would mean to end their existence, if they really chose not to be that compliant. She could easily just wait for some other demon to show up, like with earth's dragonballs.
Eyes turning to focus in the direction where the demon she knew, had seemed to be, there was the slightest of pulls in what she recognized to be an attempt to telepathically communicate. A frown had formed, knowing the presence behind it, didn't seem familiar at all, and that it was essentially an attack on her mind. The fact that it was also by someone who was unaccounted for, and still persisted in not revealing themselves either, didn't help her mood.
"You're a bigger fool than what you've deluded yourself into believing, if you thought that was a wise decision."
Whatever link the being was trying to establish, whether with peaceful intentions or not, she had easily forced out, in what would have physically been a shockwave of wind. Trying to invade a mind, just because of some cowardice, only meant this being was even lesser in value compared to the blonde.
What the other girl did might have been an annoyance, but it paled in comparison to something like this telepathy. It assumed some sense of equality, in ways that the Queen To Be, hadn't even dared to establish beyond her parroted words. It was only fortunate, her interest easily dulled away.
"I don't take kindly to any form of mental communication, belonging to those I'm unaware of, or have agreed upon prior. Truthfully, you should be nothing more than a stain on the ground for even daring to do what that blonde hadn't. Especially with your presence being unaccounted for.
But I had hoped to attract some form of attention from this, so reveal yourself, so I can discuss what I had planned to. Though know it won't mean I won't stop building up the power in this thing, knowing those other two have yet to arrive."
She wasn't planning to cancel it anytime soon either. It would take some time before it was fully charged, and she would take that to be a countdown until her decision on what to do. The one thing that she was certain of, was that at least one life would die by her own hands, regardless of association to her, if she couldn't get the information she sought. It wasn't even that complex of a process either. They either talked or risked their lives.
She would say in reality, it had taken a moment, for the bold one to have stepped out from hiding. Though to her own mind, which saw no interest in staring at what was essentially nothing, it was agony to wait on. Time just wouldn't move fast enough, and even her own growing technique didn't satisfy her.
Like when she had arrived at the blonde's office, the voice and face that had came out from hiding, was relief. One which was shown on her face by the lack of a frown, at seeing whatever kind of hybrid she was looking at, but didn't recognize its origin of. Though she stopped caring about mix breeds so long ago. In her eyes, they were always just going to be half of what they could truly become, if they were just one single force. Like how Vampirism simply replaced what humanity she had, for something much better. The canvas that was a hybrid, even turning one of them, could simply overwrite everything.
The words that the woman had spoken, brought her a brief fit of laughter. It might not have been amusing as the blonde believing she was entirely independent, but it did bring light and realization in how unknown her kin truly were, if she couldn't yet even get the recognition she deserved.
The fact that this hybrid had chosen to hid herself and suppress her power, only confirmed one of her earlier suspicions, that even if they had all went up against her at their best, she could single-handedly end their lives given the time. And she had that Kold Demon to thank for that, studying and taking its techniques for her own. A way to have her own ki chase after an enemy, like that man Galen was able to perform, was more than useful at her level of power.
"You truly are rather ignorant, aren't you? Even with the kind of information I allowed that one demon to take with it, to spread my reputation. If you make the mistake of asking for my name just as well like that blonde, then you won't be pitied like she was. Though I'm already expecting those other two to do the worst to her, for me."
If there was one thing that man had imprinted on her, which she could no longer deny, having purged what she could of his presence on her after becoming an Antediluvian, it was this carnal desire different from feeding on blood. Looking at the hybrid, it just became so apparent how easily pinned the woman could have been, had she just chosen to act upon this desire. How she could surely make the demon learn to love the taste of blood, given the time alone for it.
But what internal thoughts she had about such a thing, didn't get past her continued glowing eyes, that stared with the intensity of a burning fire. What the hybrid had already revealed to her, didn't matter beyond confirming her assumptions. This Heizen, she couldn't recall being someone that man had encountered. Though for this guy to be a demon lord, meant that he was a hierarchy below the demon she knew, who already held the power of a demon queen.
"I'm much more than a Queen to my kind. I'm technically Guru of Namek, and Queen of this planet, having beaten its challengers. As an Antediluvian as well, I've ascended to godhood in the eyes of my kind, and until the other Matriarchs reach beyond this power of theirs, I share the title alone. Though I have to say knowing of your hiearchy, this lord of yours sounds disappointing, and will remain as such, even if he had found himself in a position where he married your Queen. Of who should still be Nakiya, isn't that correct?"
That woman, she just couldn't see her title being taken from her. What she had seen in those memories, and the little she could recall even now, the woman had bedded Caesar and beared his child. She was more than just simple whore to him just as well, and so she had a rather preferable standing in her eyes.
Though she knew just as well they could have easily wanted to kill each other, and still manage to come back from it. But whether or not the woman would really waste either of their time like that, it was difficult to say. She only knew for certain her beliefs were fantasy, until an actual meeting.
She had half expectations that the hybrid was also dumb enough, to make her lack of knowledge on the politics going on within Makai, as some sort of advantage. Something the woman believed to be worth mentioning was incorrect, which still wouldn't help her see the demon to be any less of value.
"If you really wish to continue being as bold as you were, than I won't waste my time into stating what I desire from your kind, and those of your standing. Your Queen is someone I wish to meet with in this realm, seeing as how she and I have met her Caesar, in ways he simply wouldn't just show one of his whores. I don't doubt either, that she or your lord wish to take over this planet, or have some semblance of interest in the dragonballs.
It's an interesting thing, knowing that kind of mentality is nothing more than a phase that Caesar had managed to get over, so if my assumptions are proven to be true, I wish to hear her personal reasoning behind it all. I might have taken the titles from those who conceded to me, but I'm more than willing to pave a way for what they desire, so long as it doesn't interfere with my assets. And if either simply wishes to not cooperate, then let them know how much of a fool they truly are, to be offered the means to succeed, and not take it over something like rage or what have you. I can easily just continue to only provide for the Saiyans, and make sure your Queen or Lord never gets their hands on the dragonballs, which do hold my interest."
Her proposal was another thing she expected to go favorably for her, although wouldn't be surprised if it hadn't. If that blonde was capable of having her feelings ignore something like repairs, than these demons and those leading them, could just as easily do something similar in vain to the earthling.
A lost opportunity if she ever heard of one, and would be the thing to decide whether or not any future events involving this kind, she would make difficult. Villainy was needed in the world, as it paved way for innovation and have even the smallest child, swear to take a certain path.
So many just didn't understand that, because of their own imposed feelings.
The feeling of pain was difficult to tire of.
More often than not, she saw it as a reward than anything meant to be a punishment, knowing her existence could have easily just been wiped out, rather than have her be toyed with. Her clash against that human, who kept going on about why she continued to persist, had been laughable, and there was nothing more she wanted than to end it all. The explosion that came from her own power, and rocked even that of her own body, was supposed to just finish that exactly.
But even now, she found the girl's voice seeping into her mind, going on about how she would take one of them to their graves. It was an acknowledgment as she had lied here under a pile of rubble, her vision continuing to be surrounded in darkness as her eyes closed, that her kin had actually survived.
Her intended target might have been the city itself, but his charging in here and offering help where it wasn't necessary, would have been a deserved death. Though he didn't seem done, just as much as the mortal still ran her mouth. It was an annoyance, if she had ever knew any, rather than the rest she had expected from making such a move, and with that kind of power. There wasn't contempt on her mind from it, but rather exhaustion from all of the voices.
Even that recognizable power of that woman, couldn't reach what part of her feared her own existence being wiped out. She had came and done what she had wanted to do, and it wouldn't be that long either, before she could once more open a portal back to Makai. Make up for her unintentional absence.
She could feel a certain pull from within her, like the sensation of a heart suddenly beating, before a flow of power had came. With it, was the change in certain areas of her body, which grew only more durable, and a bit of an increase in her own size. Even the wisps her power always summoned, she could feel.
Lying here wasn't something meant for her. There was more to her power than what she had already revealed, and it should anger her knowing that she was just here like something to be thrown away. Her own transformation had already parted away some of the rubble that lied ontop of her, bringing light, and she put in what effort she could muster to open her eyes. The power came to her as slowly as it ever did, the wisps only bursting and reforming the more she moved.
When she had fully stood up, her fists tightening from what annoyance her efforts had involved, it became rather apparent how interested her kin really was, with this human. All of this talk, despite the both of them being in similar conditions, when it came to exhaustion. Her own feeling greater, if only because she was at the center of what had created it. Her limbs were still sore, but not enough for her not to summon her blades back to her side.
They comfortably rested onto her body, one near her hip, while the other remained on her back. She would interfere with what was going on, if it was needed, but she simply walked over to the side at the moment, her foot crushing under the rubble that she had created. She hadn't needed that woman's power at all.
And she still didn't. What destruction that woman was allowing, she would continue pursuing her own means into creating it. That technique of hers, which she could feel only continued to grow, she knew would only get to a point where it would become only blockable. Nothing which they were capable.
Even she didn't hold that kind of power.

Holly had been unable to do anything to stop the destruction of East city. She could do nothing but watch the kingdom and the few souls within it be consumed by the fiery explosion. Although she intentionally did nothing against the demons next attack. Holly let out a yelp of pain as the energy bolt hit her shoulder. She fell down about 5 feet before she managed to stop her fall.
Holly’s dress was torn at the shoulder, the skin around the impact red as blood dripped down her arm. Holly clutched her shoulder, beating heavily as she looked up at the demon of darkness. She had to take the hit for just a chance to see at this demon. Holly glowered up at the creature of shadows. She decided that he was the one to bite the dust.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more literal personification of the pot calling the kettle black then you. You and the rest of your kind come to Earth and think you have the God given right to do anything you want. You think you would stand a chance against the strongest fighters, which is so sad it almost brings tears to my eyes.”
Holly’s lips curled into a smirk, magical energy beginning to come into her. She wasn’t going to be able to get all of her magic power back, but she would have enough to deal with this monstrosity.
“Even if the rest of you combined forces, the Vampire would tear all of you apart. Judging by what I’m sensing, that women could tear you all apart with ease. Your companion had the right idea: I can’t sense them anymore, so they’re likely hiding or running away. You should follow their example and flee from this place.”
Holly had briefly considered doing the same thing the moment East City had been destroyed. What was there left to fight for at this location. Yet her pride would not allow for it. She wasn’t going to give her enemies the satisfaction of an easy victory. In particular she didn't want to give the Vampire more things to mock her with.
If she ran, she would be proving the vampires point. That she was unable to handle herself in a fight, and thus was unsuited for the position of Queen. She would show everyone she was capable of holding her own, of necessary. It would be at the expense of the shadow demon before her.
“You're not even half as strong as your ally, and she had to expand most of her energy to destroy East City. You're arrogant in the most pathetic way possibles, and have nothing to back it up. You're on my level of power. Making a bold claim that you would be able to test your might against the heroes of Earth with your strength is a testament to your prideful ignorance. ”
Something here didn’t add up. Why was this creature acting so confidently? Even assuming that the other one was its ally, there was no way he be that confident in taking out a monstrous power like the Vampire?
Furthermore, he didn't seem to be all that phased by her display of power. Most people would have been shocked to see someone with a power level of what they thought to be around ten thousand fire off blasts hundreds of times stronger then she should have been able to do. So why…. Holly’s eyes widened as a thought came to her. <Could it be? No, no one who's proficient enough in ki or magic would forgo learning how to do that. Either he knows something I don't that can deal with the Vampire, or he can't sense energy. There's no way that the latter can be true though. An idiot of that caliber shouldn't even exist!>
Well, there was an easy way for her to find out. Her smirk spread into a grin that would impress the Cheshire Cat, which was exclusively for the black demon who had taunted her so.
So then, do you have some sort of secret weapon you brought to use against Earth’s strongest fighters? I mean, you must have some kind of trick up your sleeve. I highly doubt that even a savage brute like yourself wouldn’t be so stupid as to come here thinking he had a chance against Earth’s champions with his own strength. Although considering how you fight, it’s likely some nefarious underhanded scheme.”
It looked as though Holly was actually going to succeed with replenishing her magic power by a small amount. The Magi couldn't believe that things were going this smoothly. None of the the other opponents she has to potentially deal with were making a move against her. She would take advantage of this as much as she could.
Holly shifted her shoulder, wincing slightly and clutching it tighter as she felt a jolt of pain. It wasn’t a very serious wound, but it still hurt, especially when she moved it in certain ways. It was a reminder of her weakness. If she didn't have allies to support her, then she would have to leave herself open to charge her magic.
Still she wasn’t going to give the demon any kind of satisfaction. She didn’t want to give him more things to gloat about. If he knew how angry and humiliated she felt over having to take that attack, she would never hear the end of it until one of them was defeated. So she kept that wide smile on her face, further goading her opponent.
”Or perhaps you truly are lacking in brain cells. Your vocabulary does seem to be rather limited. Foolish human, little girl, are those the best insults you could come up with? My brother could come up with better jeers then you when he was five. Although whether or not you’re as dumb as your insults are doesn't matter, since the low opinion I have of you isn’t going or change, regardless of your intelligence level.”
Holly wasn't exaggerating at all. Like her, Lumis was an intelligent wordsmith who could use witty wordplay. When he was really young, he was not shy about sharing his thoughts about how he felt towards someone. While this aspect of him toned itself down as he got over, Lumis was still more prone than her to throw out insults. While his vocabulary was as big as his sisters, he didn't bother to make them underhanded the way she usually did. So this creatures insults were laughably lackluster to Holly.
It was time for her to turn up the heat. Holly was going to make sure that the coal black demon saw only red. She found herself enjoying the prospect of demeaning her opponent far more than she should. Unfortunately for Seid, Holly was going to vent her frustrations that were people t up enduring the conceited Vampire’s verbal lashing.
You’re a coward who can’t even fight someone on their level without someone else’s help. If I weren’t for the fact that I’m more irate than I’ve ever been in my life, I’d be laughing at how pathetic you are. I’ve never had this many people disrespect me this much in my life. You should use your lack of courage to the fullest and run while you still can. Less you wish to become a target dummy for my magic.”
Holly managed to charge up a decent amount of energy. Her vision became less blurry, and her breathing, while still heavy, started to slow down a bit. Now she had a small amount of energy that didn’t pull from the reserve she saved as a last resort. Although more than likely she was going to be pushed to her limits in this fight.
Still, as long as this being’s companions just observed the fight and the vampire was focusing on that other individual, then she might just have a chance of getting out of this alive.

Delphi was a bit taken back by the Vampire’s attitude. Her limited understand of Mortals made it difficult for her to understand what she could have done to offend the creature. Telepathy was the most common form of communication in Makai. Perhaps such things were considered rude on this planet? She wasn’t quite sure. “Have I angered you, Vampire?” the Hybrid asked telepathically in response to their first statement, the question sincere as her voice held an inflection implying confusion and ignorance. This question was however quickly responded too by the woman - Delphi processing the knowledge and left wondering how to respond to such things. “Truthfully I didn't mean to cause you such an annoyance. This is merely the standard form of communication for our kind,” she attempted to explain to the Vampire from a distance with her mind, her voice trying to remain its usual calm attitude but proving more difficult. Delphi was legitimately scared of this woman. Everything about her.
Her power, her energy, her attitude…. All of them were sharp enough to truly instill fear in the Heran Demon. It.. was different than when she sensed Lord Heizen’s energy, or the Demon Queen. It was just… so cold. A cold breeze constantly blowing against the Demon’s skin freezing her to the bone. It hurt. It made her afraid. “Very well.. As you wish,” the Demon said obediently as the call dropped. Delphi gathered her resolve before walking calmly over, revealing herself from the corner of a large pile of rubble in the distance. Truthfully the Demon could have fled the city and the planet by using the chaos of the battle to hide her movements. In fact that was probably the better course of action for her own personal safety. This Vampire wouldn’t have been able to track her if she didn’t know where her voice had come from, and she would have been able to leave the planet without any issue.
But to do so would not only be cowardly, it would mean leaving Seid to his own fate. A part of her still hoped to save her friend, her role model. To leave the Shadow Demon to die on this planet would be a cruel deed not even she as a Demon could stomach.
Making herself seen and known - Rukia know had complete control of the situation. All factors on the table, all the variables ready to be manipulated to her whim. The light blue Demon stared blankly at Rukia with those light red eyes gazing calmly (despite the fear hidden inside). As the two soon were within conversational distance - the Heran Demon bowed briefly before the Vampire. “I apologize. It is as you say - I am ignorant. I know not much about this Planet or this Universe save for what I know about Makai.
I will not ask you for your name if you do not feel like giving it,” Delphi stated aloud to the Vampire clearly, holding no illusions here on the high status of the Vampire or her own lack of status. Delphi did not expect the Vampire to be forthcoming with anything unless it was of no consequence to her. Seeing her face and knowing her energy would serve as enough for now, as far as her mission was concerned. “That woman… her energy is so scarce and yet she has not been toppled by those two Demons. The Demon you possess is admittedly holding back, but my friend alone should have been a hundred times the strength necessary to stop her, no?
I must admit - it’s interesting,” Delphi stated, not sure though why she was engaging in such things with the Vampire. She doubted that the creature at all cared about such things. Perhaps this was merely nervousness getting to her, making her talk about things she would normally just leave unsaid. She herself would have to be careful not to give too much information to this woman. She was one of the biggest threats to Lord Heizen outside of the Saiyan Race. Even if they won this war… if this woman possessed as much power as she claimed - she was a grand obstacle in their way. One of the grandest. And one entirely alluded to them. To think one existed who had ascended to Godhood as Jarvis and Nakiya had. Who had bested and manipulated both the Namekians and the people of this planet and have them both under her control. As the woman spoke, Delphi transmitted information to Heizen so that if she should fall - Heizen knew at least a little of what was happening. “My Lord… do not come to Earth no matter what happens. This woman is connected with the Guru of Namek and with those of the planet Earth. She could present a rather impossible adversary, if Nakiya cannot make her into an ally…,” Delphi explained to Heizen telepathically as she continued to listen to Rukia, her eyes unchanged as the Vampire continued.
“You underestimate my Lord, Matriarch. He is the second strongest Demon in Makai, just below Nakiya herself. He played a big part in the destruction of the Saiyan Kingdom’s planet of operations, toppling even one of their mightiest Super Saiyans with his power, as it is ever growing. Though your Demon is quite powerful, I haven’t a doubt in my mind that he could tear her apart should he feel inclined.
Even you with your great power - would not come out of a battle unscathed, though you would undeniably come out the victor as he is now..,” Delphi said, with no hint of bias in her voice. She was honest about the tiers of power separating the two. Even with the power of the Makyo Star infusing his energy - he would not be able to overcome the power difference between them. Not unless he dramatically increased his own power. And with the way the Demon spoke of this woman earlier - it seemed like she too was on the cusp of even greater power. Even Lady Nakiya would have a hard time with this woman in an altercation - there was no doubt about that….
The Vampire then went on to vocalize their demands. She had all the power and thus Delphi was forced to oblige if she wished to fulfill Heizen’s orders and stay alive. She had to admit - she was surprised when she heard her desires. Very few people requested an audience with the Queen of the Demon Realm, but Delphi knew the Matriarch was definitely prestigious enough to deserve an audience. Delphi’s eyes widened, for the first time since their encounter, upon hearing that this lady had made contact with Jarvis. To think she was familiar with so many people in this Universe.. It was astonishing. The God King was not someone who people just met, and the fact that their meeting seemed to be so… informal was surprising. So… Jarvis had seen something in this woman too. The surprises just kept coming, and Delphi wasn’t sure how much more she could process.
“Very Well… I think my Lord could agree to help sponsor a meeting between you and Nakiya… if you’d excuse me a moment… I’ll contact him,” the Demon Hybrid stated whilst closing her eyes to concentrate on Heizen once more… Filling him in on the extra details..
“... My Lord? The Vampire Matriarch… requests a meeting with our Queen in the mortal realm. She has engaged Jarvis, the God King. It is possible an alliance of some kind could be forged here… and I would recommend taking it. This woman is not one you wish to scorn…,” Delphi informed him assuredly and thoroughly. The message breaching the barrier between dimensions to reach the Demon Lord in his castle.. Fear. He could hear it in her thoughts as she contacted him throughout this encounter. Why was she engaging this creature and not running? This was the most disobedient Delphi had ever been with the Demon Lord. Though he expected stupid actions from Seid, he was inclined to think of Delphi as the more rational one. Was she so adamant to protect Seid that she would put herself in danger too? It made him mad just thinking about it. He didn’t like his orders being disobeyed. “Delphi… I told you to get out of there! At least one of you has to stay alive damn it! If you both die the Saiyans will have that much more going for them when they arrive!” the Demon Lord tried to speak as the Heran relayed information about the woman. This Matriarch of Vampires… she seemed to be a hidden player that Heizen had not accounted for. The Saiyans. The Earth Defenders. The Demons. Jarvis. The Kais. He had accounted for everyone.. Except for this mysterious individual.
The one who whispered into the ears of the Universe’s most influential figures. Someone who possessed a power great enough to rival the Devla Queen herself, both in combat and in influence? How absurd. He could hardly believe it, but he knew Delphi would not claim such things lightly. He was forced to accept this knowledge as a certainty. If this was true… then she was a prime target. They had to either join forces with her or destroy her. There was no other course of action that they could take. He had a lot to inform the Demon Queen of. And it would vex her immensely, by his estimates.
Heizen continued to drink his wine, pouring more as the anxiety set in. All of his effort to keep this mission simple and easy and those two had blown it way out of proportion. Such things were enough to anger him, but to now have to learn of yet another presence that undermined his own was a lot to take in. Was this Universe never short of competitors? Such an annoyance. Were it not for this wine - his anger would force him to find other ways to vent. There were still many prisoners in his dungeons that he could torture and humiliate for a few hours to make him feel better. A few hearts he could rip out. But alas - his wine was keeping him distracted enough. He also had to remain on call for their transmissions after all.
And so they did. Delphi spoke to him of the Vampire’s demands. A meeting with Nakiya in the mortal realm? This could easily be a trap by the Vampire. A way to lure in Nakiya so that her enemies could eliminate her as soon as she enters from a portal. He thought to himself for a bit, trying to think on what to do or say in this situation. He couldn’t make any sure promises, as he could not predict the actions of his Queen. So was the case on Planet Saiya, and he would not make the mistake of assuming her plans or intentions again. She was a wild flame that he could not hope to control or manage. “Tell her that the message is received, and that I will set up the meeting so long as I know that you are not to be harmed.
You are to accompany this woman as she sees fit for the time being. You will message me daily to assure me that she is keeping her end of the bargain. Forget about the mission to Bris. I’ll send Laezi instead,” the Demon Lord commanded and informed, seeing it as the best move for now. He needed Delphi alive, and since this Vampire was so interested in meeting Nakiya - he would try and use that as an excuse for the Vampire to keep his Heran alive. He needed at least one of them to survive after all. There was another reason though. Delphi being on Earth for the time being was good. She would learn a lot for both herself and for them. His own trip to Earth had taught him many things after all. It was time for her to expand her horizons and learn much about this Universe for herself, and not just what the Demon Lord had told her.
It would make both her resolve, her hatred, and her power all the greater. And if she managed to learn anything useful about this Vampire in the process, then all the better for them.
Now that the conditions there had been set - Heizen focused all of his mental energy on the Shadow Demon who had disobeyed him at every turn, that had abandoned his mission in lieu of his own selfish desires and petty grievances. A sharp fire would burn in the mind of the Shadow Demon as Heizen invaded his mind with great contrast to Delphi. While the Heran had intentionally tried to gently breach the mind of the Vampire - Heizen was breaching his mind with great force. “You have disappointed me, Seid. You completely abandoned your directive and left Delphi to fend for herself. Did I not train you two to work as a single unit?” he reminded the Demon with a rather pissed off tone of voice, that low raspy quality made rather clear as his words were almost snarled.
“You will cease your actions immediately or face the consequences when you return to Makai. Do not try my patience, you welp,” Heizen growled with a dark scowl plastered on his face, his red eyes glowing with fury and disappointment. Negative Energy flooding him all over as he felt his demonic soul fueling his words and resolve as they pushed against his old comrade. To disobey Heizen’s orders was to challenge his might, his position, his will. These things were deep sins, and with the path the Shadow Demon was heading… there would be no coming back. Seid meanwhile had been in the midst of a rather intense exchange of words with the Magician, the Sorceress, or whatever the hell it was that the magic users called themselves. The man couldn't care less. He did however widen his smirk upon gazing on her shoulder from his weak little attack - a small speck of desire filling the man upon the exposed skin. He liked hearing her yelp. “Once again your arrogance and smugness blind you. Once again you prove the bigotry and hatred of your kind! You can point fingers all you want, but as always you created your enemies. The architect of your own misfortune. You pissed off others and for it brought destruction and death upon those who you wished to protect,” Seid informed the girl with a chuckle, openly mocking her own ignorance and self righteousness. If there was anything in this Universe that he truly loathed, it was the blindness of the self-proclaimed saints. The morality of those too ignorant to understand this Universe for what it really was. “I had no intention of touching anything on this planet until you targeted me with your mental calling, until you proceeded to order me around as if you were my better! You assumed that this Demon and I were in league, that we were all working together when that couldn’t have been farther from the truth,” he said, his smirk and laughter fading and dying with the moment, his expression now composed of a rather vibrant and menacing scowl. “I don’t care about the citizens of this planet, or even Earth itself. I came here to survey the planet for my Lord. He is the one who cares about your blue rock, for whatever stupid reasons I cannot comprehend,” the Shadow Demon explained fully and openly. “Perhaps I wouldn’t stand a chance against your fighters. But a creature such as you would never understand. I see you for what you really are. A spoiled brat whose never tried to earn anything in her life.
But thankful for the Kais who have blessed you with your existence, as you would have long since perished had you been born in the Demon Realm. A place where you have to earn your strength constantly or die to be overtaken by another. I look forward to removing the Golden Plating that makes you shine, and stripping you down to your most humble self!” he declared with a smirk as he placed his hands behind his head. Dark blue sparks surrounded the shadow Demon as a black ball began to form in his hands. Expanding by the second - the black ball representing the Demon’s strongest attack. Debris from the crushed city began to rise and float with the influx of negative energy as the Shadow Demon was showcasing the full entirety of his power to wipe out this pathetic magician.
As the woman spoke of some Vampire - Seid recalled the woman who had frightened Delphi prior. Most likely the Vampire and this mysterious power were one and the same. The Shadow Demon didn’t care however. “I trust in my partner to mitigate that situation. But I appreciate your concern for my well being, Princess,” he said (the emphasis on the word Princess being that of a mocking tone). He knew that Delphi was the smarter of the two, and it didn’t bother him in the slighest. What he lacked in brains he made up for in sheer willpower and brute force. It was like many of their kind. The women (such as Nakiya and Nyxosa) were crafty and intelligent while those like Mortos and Heizen thought more with their fists than anything else. Seid was no different.
“Please. As if I need help to dispose of such a pitiful creature as you. You are far beneath her time. And it is not arrogance to test oneself against the warriors of this planet, but someone who is not a warrior wouldn’t understand that.
It is only by putting one’s own self against their betters that they learn how to ascend beyond what it is they are capable of. That is how my Lord has risen to become one of the greatest warriors of this Universe, only to be growing with every day and ascending past those who have spent years harnessing such strength,” the Demon once again fought back, matching every statement the foolish girl made with a retort. Those who were born with great power and did not truly earn it were ignorant of the trials one faced trying to ascend. It was for this reason that Mortos had fallen, and Heizen had reigned supreme. Surpassing the Demon Lord by leaps and bounds despite the savage Brute’s many attempts at conquest throughout the Universe. Mortos instead depended on others or his own superiority to win his battles. Though he disliked taking orders from the Demon Lord Heizen - he respected Heizen’s status and how he earned it. It was for this reason and this reason alone that Seid followed that annoying Jackal’s orders.
The girl however made her fate even worse by daring to insult the Shadow Demon - calling him stupid. He growled softly in annoyance, veins visible on his face as anger overwhelmed him. Still he steadied himself and continued charging his attack. He would make sure that she suffered for everything she said.
It was then however that he felt a sharp burning in the back of his mind. Heizen was calling him!? His voice was angry. He could feel the Lord’s sharp power coursing through him like poison. Heizen had a strong presence about him, and the fact that he was this angry at Seid was not a good sign. “M-My Lord!” Seid cried out as he winced in pain, albeit still maintaining control of his attack. He did not see his actions as a desertion of Delphi. She chose not to follow him! She went off script just like he did. Had she joined him then this wouldn’t have even been an issue in his eyes. They’d have disposed of this pathetic blonde with Tanariul and gone on their merry ways. Why was her actions okay and not his?
“My Lord… this is almost concluded… I will not forget the mission, just leave me be!” he fought back, only to hear the Demon disconnect with him. Being cut off from the transmission so suddenly.. That spelled suffering to come. He knew Heizen better than most given the amount of years they spent together. He knew what that meant.
His return home was not going to be a pleasant one… “Understood, My Lord,” Delphi responded aloud for the Vampire Matriarch to hear. She had just been transmitted Lord Heizen’s new orders in accordance with this discussion. “Lord Heizen has agreed to set up a meeting between you and the Demon Queen, but only under the condition that I am to remain unharmed. I will be accompanying you on his orders, though you have final say on the arrangements of such things. So long as I an unharmed and in your company - you may use me as you wish.
Whether as a soldier or a simple maid- for the time being I will serve you, Matriarch. Alternatively I could also stay away but remain close enough to be reached by you easily. Whatever your preference.”
So was the will of Heizen, and Delphi would follow his orders this time. Rukia still had the control of the situation - and she could always choose to deny this agreement and kill both Delphi and Seid here. But then Lord Heizen would know she was not to be trusted, and the Demon Queen would be that much farther from the Vampire’s reach…

Truly, was this demon showing just how much awareness it lacked. Or at the very least, held the kind of appearance that made it seem as such. This could have been merely some misguided belief into lowering her guard, but even if she had been struck, that had only meant this one and its companion would die.
Such a scenario, would make up for what loss can be gained from East City collapsing. But it was hardly something she would press to happen. The city going down was all she could have hoped for, paving the opportunity for it to happen, and to take the lives of those capable of causing it, only meant that things would stir in a direction she didn't wish. For there to be any motive when it came to growing in power, there needed to be reason for doing so.
To go and train just to ensure that no evil would rise, was nothing but a dream for the foolish. There might have been plenty of aliens that could rival her being ageless, but things like threats were a natural cause that came from differing opinions. People that were seen as 'bad' she now knew, thanks to that man, could come back to life. Their existence wasn't just wiped away after passing. All there was for them in Hell, was waiting at their leisure.
Those sort could come back if they had tried. And so, planning to kill this one and her companions, were more of a backup than anything else, if things hadn't gone her way. Act as something to satisfy what came from holding such power in her hands, and knowing her chance to actually use it, would be slim.
She allowed this coming telepathy to process, though refused to respond with the same mental communication back. The ability to do such might have been granted to her, not long after becoming a Matriarch, but that and the voice she used to command her own kin, were meant for only those like her.
It wasn't meant to be any simple form of communication, that could be touched by just anyone. If they truly wished to play such mind games, then it was easier to do the back and forth she and the blonde had, annoying as it was. Even more so, was knowing that girl had chosen not to flee towards her, after the city had collapsed. If she was truly as capable as she wanted to make out, then that pride of hers could be swallowed, if she wished to rule at all.
The girl wasn't meant to die, so long as she was around, although at this rate, the chance for it might actually happen. If that were to occur, then as much as it would displease her to do so, a life was going to be taken in return. The demon would be sent to Hell, to that man's domain, for who knows how long.
"And you're mistaken in believing those of this realm would care. Your kind is meant to die by our hands, and it would take more influence than you can hope to muster, to prevent it."
Anger was a bit too strong of a word for any of her responses. It mistakenly alluded to the idea that she really continued to care, beyond the briefest of moments, when it came to something that others would see as trivial. Upset was a better word, but still painted her to be like some kind of juvenile.
With the power that she had gained, what discrepancies in her looks that came from turning at an age as young as 16, was fixed, accessing transformations beginning with the strength of a Countess. Like some kind of stage in development between that, and the form she took on as an Antediluvian.
If her regular form and lack of accessing any transformations, was youthful enough to pass for a 16 year old who had yet to develop much, then the form of a Countess completed that. It was her form as a Matriarch and Antediluvian, where she surpassed the lithe and typical proportions of someone her age, and grew into what was expectant of someone approaching full adulthood. She would only literally grow into looking more like a young queen, as time had went on.
With what history had already been created by those of her kin, long before she had been turned, and knowing that they were composed of blood magic, it must have simply been desire that granted such a possibility. Perhaps even an ancient command by the previous queen, into having their appearance appropriately adapt. That man had been able to do something similar, though he had more of an ability to shapeshift, as gods are believed to have, than true ascension.
The reasoning behind this demon's insistence in using telepathy, had been typical and expected from someone without a certain awareness. From her own experience on Namek, and her approach into challenging the Guru in the middle of his ritual, she knew whatever culture they really had, wasn't just going to be accepted. Especially not when any earthling who was actually raised right, would know that demons were generally depicted to be untrustworthy.
Enough to where just about any tale regarding them, even that of anime, showed their kind dying by mortals. It wasn't something that could be changed, what with the history that had already been created surrounding it. Time would have to be rewritten for such a thing, and that was a route she'd find displeasing. She had met enough full-blooded demons and half-bloods to know they were better off just fighting for villainy, then switching sides.
Vaporizing the traitors wouldn't be a loss, knowing they would only attempt to taint the rest with their ideals. It was why if she could ever procure her own planet, anyone who wasn't a Vampire, would have a few days, or not even an hour to leave. Turning made it possible to encounter one of her own who was perhaps born an alien, though what transformations and power they would have normally had, were overwritten by the blood magic put within them.
Unless any guests in such a scenario were willing to accept being turned, or were associated with her in some way, they would be unwelcomed. It was easier on her kind, to save them from the agony of talking to those not of their kind, with what seemed to be an innate disinterest, for those who became Matriarchs themselves. The number of those in existence, could be forcibly controlled with their culture, and avoid the mundane of betrayal by their own.
An ostracized society of what she was imagining, would be far from perfect, and she knew full well taking such a role, would possibly have everything be threatened by that man. But it would be her own rule. The burdens that could come from it, would be nothing she wasn't already dealing with presently.
It would take much more than gaining the power to command her kind, before she could really accomplish what she had envisioned. The demon revealing itself to her, was rather compliant, knowing it was something of a choice. Options she had given it, and the thought of what could happen if it wasn't abided.
An appropriate decision that would only make things easier on her, while also putting to light what the woman had said. If telepathy was how they communicated with their kind, then who was to say the demon wasn't currently talking to her Lord right now? Filling him in on the details?
It didn't really matter to her in the end, and she would even allow the demon to think she had some kind of advantage with that, so long as it wasn't confirmed by the woman herself, or the topic didn't come up in a way she disliked. With the apparent lack of awareness she was seeing though, she had doubts. The apology that came forth was one which also didn't mean much to her, knowing she already had to deal with ignorance from the blonde.
To continue doing so, even though the demon was coming about it in a much better way, wasn't something meant to be forgiven. If anything, it was to be ignored, no matter what kind of mild amusement she gained, from hearing such willingness to admit how beneath her, this one really was.
"As it should be. For someone who can easily die by my hands, a name is worth more than should be granted, yet also gives the impression there's humanity still intact. That one can be redeemed if the opportunity had came."
It was the reason why she refused to use that man's name in conversation, beyond calling him by Caesar, as he had introduced himself. It was more of a title possible to be carried by others, and meant that he and his personality wouldn't be the last to come, even knowing that death could be cheated.
Someone else could easily arise to take that title, just like how she expected for someone of her kin to challenge her just as well. Whether or not they would succeed in doing so, was where things would differ. She didn't mind ending the life of someone trying to take away what she built, again and again.
"She's some kind of hybrid where her kind's true power is effortlessly hidden. Not by suppression, but what's likely magic, if I were to guess. Though it's certainly not strong enough to not be detected by scouters."
That was practically always the kind of explanation for earthlings, on something they weren't sure of. That the ability the blonde possessed, was something akin to magic. Whether or not she was right, was too trivial to really care for. What mattered was that it could be read by technology.
As leisurely as she was answering things, the orbs in her hand, only continuing to build up more and more power as they talked, there was still instances of recognition on what she should be caring for. And that had came from this demon really believing the one she knew, was actually loyal to her.
More laughter came. The woman could have easily found herself to be in the same position, had she been gone for as long as that one had apparently been. Though she expected more compliance, knowing that one hadn't given in enough, to use the technique she had showed it. It was practically only her interest in utilizing it, now that she was an Antediluvian, that kept it from being simply vaporized. Hell, this one's favor with those important, also prevented that. To believe their circumstances were different, when they all shared the same fate of dying by the hands of mortals, was a delusion.
"You really believe that don't you? That you and your partner are somehow different than the one I had chose not to dispose, just because you've gained your lord's favor? Well you're wrong. That oaf would rather live in caves and its surroundings, than accept what I could provide it. In the end, all three of you are likely to die if it weren't for your connections and my interest."
No matter how willing the demon seemed to be when it came to talking, possibly trying to distract her from helping the blonde even, it wouldn't stop her from charging her best technique as of yet. The fact that this one's partner seemed to be so keen on fighting the blonde, only came as a surprise in being able to tolerate that girl for so long. Time had moved so slowly for her earlier, and the parroting was beyond agony. She doubted it was any different now.
The idea that came from her underestimating their master, produced a scoff from her, even after hearing about how he was apparently the second strongest to that woman, who she was at least glad to hear was apparently still around. If those were really the strongest demons they had, then they were really weak without Caesar. Even the accomplishment this guy had aided in, didn't mean much to her. They were wiping out a race she wanted her kind to surpass.
"Antediluvian. Or are you really unable to make sense of another being's hierarchy, like that demon with your partner can't accurately measure time?"
A Matriarch was the most basic hierarchy in a typical earthling household, just like how time only differed in the area one was in. If their sense of how mortal things worked, was what those two had in common, then they were only intelligent in areas where most earthlings didn't even associate with.
"It sounds more like he's just doing what I can't myself, and fighting the Saiyans I've been steering my kind to surpass. He's no different from the one with your partner, who I allowed to destroy this city. Do you really believe I'm foolish like that blonde who'll rule over emptiness, and not have allies standing by? This power might have been to draw your partner away from the blonde, and currently serve to represent my satisfaction, but it would be a mistake to believe those who haven't evacuated this planet yet, can't feel this. If you had tried to leave like the coward you demons can be, you and what help you can get, will only make it so far with the ships I have at my disposal."
Not that she would really put that much effort into tracking down one demon. Threats were supposed to come to this planet, rather than be personally tracked down. Whatever Flare and her friends were doing at this moment, preventing them from showing up here, she could only contribute it to them being aware the population was minimal, or her own presence at the scene. Though that could also be giving them the kind of credit she shouldn't have allowed the blonde.
The idea that she would expect to come out unscathed in any battle at all, was at least partially correct. There were no beings in the universe who didn't have blood running through them, and her kind, who worked off of ones they drained, weren't an exception. In battle, she was more than likely going to get hit, but it was the efforts that her opponent would put in, that would keep her from falling. Was what had kept that man from caring multiple attacked him.
"And you're only partially correct about whether or not I'll come out unscathed. My kin can be replenished through blood, and the only thing I care about possible death, is not being fully vaporized."
It was no secret to earthlings that Vampires fed on blood, so revealing that she could heal from it too, wouldn't matter to her. Death was a concept no longer meant to be feared just as well, beyond her assets getting involved, and any of her body being left for that man to have possibly find.
With all of the perversions that he could be overtaken by, she didn't consider him to be above postmortem. That reality marble of his could practically give him what he wished, and yet it was wishing to put her own desires into realization herself, that was part of what kept her from being swayed by him.
More than likely, she would be the one to personally kill him, and take over what he had, then ever be charmed. No one but another Vampire, could ever hold her interest, and even then it was daft to believe it would sit well with her, knowing that he already gave more than a handful of women his children.
Just where was the concept that came with vows from that, excluding how meaningless death was, knowing they could revive, and there wasn't eternal rest or materialization of their desires? That's what men like him failed to see, even if when it came to other cultures, it was something seen as normal.
There was no hint of bias in the demon's voice, much like how Satsu tended to speak as neutral as well. Although it was only expected from someone else who served another, to say such positive things. To really go and believe that their ruler was untouchable, and could escape from death by those who opposed.
"Implying you haven't been already."
It might as well have been fitting to acknowledge that part, knowing the woman was challenging the idea that it hadn't already been done. Nothing that hadn't really stopped the power she had been building up, as of yet, and for what gap there was in the demon answering, she had used to feel out the blonde.
The girl was still going surprisingly. It made her wonder just what was going on, knowing those two had so many chances to vaporize the girl, or maim her, and be done with their little fun. She was already somewhat amazed the girl hadn't just been knocked out, from the power used to collapse the city.
Her kind must have been a lot stronger than what the girl was representing, if the blonde was really able to hold her own for this long. Though it likely helped that it didn't seem as if the demon that she knew, seemed to really be assisting. This one's partner, must have been one of the stubborn ones.
"I can agree to your well-being, though it's difficult to say the same to your partner, if he chooses to end the blonde's life. As unfitting as she is to be Queen with the mistakes I've counted she made, and a clear lack of experience beyond growing up around wealth, I want it to be a lesson on how naive she is. But it won't be a true loss on my part, if it happens. With any luck, she'll end up in Hell for Caesar to play with."
That was just about how much she really detested the girl. Out of all the proposals she had made since becoming a Vampire, dealing with blondes had to be the most agony in this ageless life of hers. If there was any use that man could have provide her, beyond his blood, it would be mentally breaking women.
"As for your service, I'll be introducing you to two of the Saiyans sent with me, upon my departure from Namek, not that long ago. You'll find that I have a variety of different species working under me, even if I view them as filth compared to my kind. It won't be out of place to have you around."
The presence that came from demons was one of the interesting things about them. One just absolutely knew there was wrong with them. The blood magic that she was composed of herself, was at least able to be hidden, what with Vampires being known for their beauty in media, than anything else.
Though with this woman being a clear halfling, Hera, if her sense recognition from that man's memories was correct, then it wasn't something to really worry for. Both her allies, and those two Saiyans not apart of her faction, should know that she tried to be as morally grey as she possibly could.
This whole meeting that had yet to come, just like how she had simply allowed East City to fall, was supposed to create similar opportunities for them if it could be helped. She would just conveniently attend to other things in the future, and have her allies do the work, if there was to be any opposing on her side. What they did, and their inability to accomplish something, couldn't fully be blamed on her. That was the role she wished to take with this.
"Before that, I'll like to intervene in this whole ordeal with the blonde, seeing this persistence."
What power she had gathered, was only just halfway done from being only blockable. A shame that she had to cancel it, but it wasn't as if she would have carelessly threw around such power in the first place, just to kill some stubborn demon. The demon had gone on about doing what she liked with her, so she hadn’t hesitated into picking the woman up, after canceling the attack that she had been so close to fully finishing to completion.
She ran off towards the blonde’s direction as fast as she could, knowing she wasn’t likely to be stopped by some obstacle this time around.
There was so much talking with these two.
If she wanted to have listened to this kind of babbling on who was right, she would have headed towards that woman, and listened in on the kind of things that one could have gone on about. These three seemed one and the same, and she hated it. They couldn’t understand, or that one, didn’t care, that something like collapsing a city needed rest after. She wasn’t even expecting her favor to increase from it.
Quiet was the least she could have had from this. And if not, then orders of something to do so she wouldn’t have to listen to this babbling. But this one and his partner hadn’t said a word to her. So here she sat, waiting for some chance to interfere, while the power of that woman just kept growing.
Destroying this planet wasn’t something she knew that woman would have wanted. A technique like that, which could strike each of them all at once though, was just too much to believe wouldn’t be used. And this guy, didn’t care either. It was like he couldn’t even sense what was going on, like what that loud blonde had went on about awhile ago. That only made him less in her eyes, not having something so simple. She wanted so much to just finish the job for him.
Killing that blonde would have that woman be after her, but what did that matter, if she couldn’t get what she had wanted? So many times, just standing here and putting up with these two running their mouths, she just wanted to use Waver and Severance to strike at them both. How could both of these two take so long to get something done? It was supposed to be a couple of strikes, if both of them thought they were so powerful to be defeated by the other.
The blonde was supposed to be a lot weaker in the first place. More tired knowing all this guy had really done besides running his mouth, was really just fly over. She wanted to really leave, and would if it wasn’t for her own favor. Her body didn’t just stop from being exhausted, just standing around here. She could feel her muscles just aching at her, and it was only this strongest form she had, that kept her from just lying on the ground, where she could just get hit.
It felt like forever, before she noticed that woman’s technique had disappeared, which got her attention more than these two ever could with what fighting they were doing. Just what had happened with that other demon? This guy’s partner had been hiding in the first place, and she couldn’t make sense of where another of her own was because of it. But that woman’s power, even without her technique, she could still feel was around what was left of this place.
It felt like it was headed here just as well, and her fist had only tightened, looking at these two, wondering if they were done. She couldn’t tell whether or not she or this guy was going to die. The woman was so hard to read, and she hated it. But just what was someone of her power supposed to do, besides just follow orders? She wasn’t an Overlord yet, or even close to being a Makaioshin. That was about the only way things could have gone differently, on what she could do.
And even then, it still wouldn’t be enough.

This guy loved to blow his own trumpet. Holly supposed she wasn’t one to talk when it came to that type of thing. Although between the smug Vampire and this arrogant creature, Holly had enough crap thrown in her face already. Although it was even worse with this guy.
At least the Vampire had monstrous strength to justify her condescending disposition this guy was on the same level as her still talking down to her. Not only, but most of what he said was dumb as well.
“So some Earthlings were mean to your kind, and that justifies the slaughter of thousands, neigh, millions of our kind? I know that our relation with the Saiyans had been strained for a long time. They seemed to think it justified their invasion of Earth. Much like how my angering you seems to justify killing me in your eyes. It appears that you off-worlders blow everything out of proportion.”
Then he spoke on how completely she misunderstood the situation. That he wasn't in league with the demon that had blown up East City. Holly was going to take everything this guy said with a grain of a salt though.
“You two are the same species, and your behavior makes it difficult to disassociate yourself from her actions. Even if what you say is true, you still assisted someone who blew up an entire city. I was about to kill her, but that's now out of the question thanks to you. The justice system is I'll equipped to try powerful beings like her. Therefore I have to personally deliver her verdict. The penalty for destroying a city and the people within it is death. By associating yourself with her, you’ve become an accomplice to her.”
If they really weren't working together though, then that woman was likely working for the Vampire. Which was odd considering that the Vampire said she would send the paperwork finalizing their agreement the next day. It was hard to read that woman though. She was by far the most shrewd person Holly ever had to deal with.
Holly folded her arms, scowling at the demon as it expressed its purpose for being on Earth. It only made his actions seem all the more malevolent.
“Survey the planet for what? I doubt it's to look for a place to put a Summer home. If he tries to start trouble here, then he will be dealt with. He’s welcome to come to Earth if he isn't plotting some kind of scheme against the inhabitants. You and your demon friend over there have no business being here any longer. We don't take kindly to our cities being blown up and attempted murder.”
Holly closed her eyes, letting out a very low sigh. She was still keeping track of the position of everyone around her with her sensing abilities, so she was less open than she appeared to be at the moment.
“It doesn’t surprise me you would make a mistake like that with your plebeian mindset. Being sophisticated and having a fancy wardrobe doesn’t mean someone is spoiled. I’ve had to work very hard to get where I am.”
Holly’s voice suddenly echoed in Seid’s mind. While the expression on her face didn’t change in the slightest, the tone her voice took in his head was completely different.
<If I was born in the demon realm, the only change would be that there would be a pile of corpses in the wake of my ascension as opposed to just a few. Things aren’t given to me: I take whatever I please, using any methods necessary. The thing I want right now is your life, demon.>
There was anger in her voice, but there was a tinge of excitement as well. Almost as if she was going to enjoy killing Seid. It wasn’t simply just a grudge she had against the demon. The only emotion she would have displayed would have been anger if that was the case.
Holly then opened her eyes. She did look a little more calm then she had earlier, despite the situation at hand. She did feel like she was in more control then she was before. At least in regards to dealing with this demon. He was now going into mind boggling stupidity territory with his statements.
“Well, I suppose you aren’t wrong. Fighting people vastly above you is a learning experience. You’ll learn exactly how ill equipped you were to deal with such foes before dying a pathetic death. If that’s how your master got to where he was, then that simply means that the people he surpassed got complacent with their positions and didn’t do anything to improve themselves. He hasn’t faced someone truly competent yet.”
The demon then started charging up another attack, the demon seemed to be in pain. Then he started talking to his “lord”. Even though there was no one in the vicinity. Holly suddenly looked angrily dumbfounded by the latest development. This guy was seriously this dumb, really? She was getting lectured by this incompetent pea brain?
“You actually don’t have any brain cells. Honestly I’m completely baffled that someone this incompetent could even exist. You can’t respond telepathically during mental communication and you seem to be unable to sense energy. I was sure you had some trump card that was making you so relaxed. Now I see it’s just blissful ignorance. You’re nothing more than a dumb mutt who disobeys their master.”
Holly sensed around if she could find any other presence in the immediate vicinity that would fit the bill for being this guys master. She couldn’t sense any other significant demonic presence on Earth currently. When she widened her range to sense for Demonic ki in other places, she discovered this one place where many demonic auras converged. There were too many strong demon aura’s there to find which one was the master this one demon was referring to. <Even if I could find which signature is his, there’s no way I can contact him. That dimensional boundary seems to be blocking my telepathy from getting through. I’ll have to learn how to communicate pass that, since this master of his is able to talk to his lackey from there.>
Holly suddenly felt the Vampire moving towards the position of their battle. She seemed to have stopped charging her attack and was approaching where she was. Holly floated down to the ground, once again telepathically addressing the demon. It would have been a pain for her to raise her voice, so doing this was easier.
<It looks as though you might be able to test yourself against one of Earth’s strongest soon. The Vampire appears to be heading here. Continuing this battle any further would be pointless. You can still prove me wrong and show you have a sliver of intelligence and flee immediately. You aren’t bound to this planet like I am.>
Holly took this time to gather more magical energies and restore a little more of her pool. It was really the only thing she could do since the Vampire was closing in on her position. Anything she could do would be a meaningless action if she wanted to cause her or anyone else here any harm, although for some reason Holly didn’t think that would be the case. Then again, who knew what this woman was planning? Preparing herself by getting more energy was the most sensible of all the futile options she had at her disposal, so she might as well do all she could to get ready for what was to come.

Seid growled as he felt the annoying, scathing words of the foolish Mage like nails on a chalkboard. As the Demon continued to charge his most powerful attack - he simply tuned out the witch and all of her annoying boasting. He thought of his Lord’s words and how they upset him deeply. To order him around the way he did all the time. The endless control that Heizen exerted over him. The Demon Lord was a hypocrite, always preaching about freedom while he held the reins on him and Delphi super tight. All out of some claim of expectation from the two of them on account of their future glory. From Seid’s point of view the distinction between Lord Heizen and Mortos was thinning by the day. And it pissed him off. “He is a disgusting being. He actually wants to restore this planet, for reasons I cannot understand. You are all filthy, truly venomous creatures! I cannot go against his wishes further, but I will make damn sure you die at least, bitch!” the Shadow Demon swore!
The way this woman talked was truly upsetting, angering him to the core. That same horrid judgment. That condescending attitude. Like Demons were so beneath this weak race. Were it not for the Saiyans who resided on this planet - they would be ripe for the taking by any other race in the galaxy! Their heroes and protectors made them arrogant. So confident in the few to protect them that they lost all sense of reality on their situation. Seid was but a weakling. A Low-Class Demon still in training, and yet he was wounding this sole protector easily! What would they do without their precious fighters if it was Nakiya and Heizen who came to this planet with their armies? If they truly sought for the extinction of this race and all of its peoples? It would be a slaughter, just like Saiya. “If you were born in the Demon Realm, then you’d have grown up to be in the sheets as Lord Heizen’s concubine for being so weak. Don’t go on thinking yourself as high and mighty when you’re weaker than a mere servant!” he yelled. Getting all uppity for no reason. Thinking she was so mighty for withstanding one attack. It really pissed him off. All arrogance did. From Heizen. From this woman. From this Vampire she was talking about. All of it just pissed him off. They all needed to have their egos chopped down a notch. And for that he let it all on the line as a black energy beam came rushing straight toward Holly - hoping to swallow her whole. From the immense pressure of the attack came blue streaks of energy surging across the area. This was Lord Heizen’s strongest energy wave - and it would not be easily absorbed! The angle of the blast ensured that even if she dodged - the blast would not damage the planet further. It was meant only to remove half of her own torso, to make her suffer excruciating pain.
As he made clear - his intentions were never to kill people on this planet as per his Lord’s instructions. Only the singular one who had earned his scorn. “Midnight Bomber!” he roared the name of the attack aloud as it would soon reach her. Would she counter it with a beam of her own? Or dodge pitifully yet again? Either way. He didn’t care. He was seeing this through. It was a hard thing. Separating from those who brought you where you were in life. Had Seid not taken her in and protected from the other Demons trying to rip her apart for being a hybrid, then Delphi would have never lived to meet Heizen and begin training under him. Had Seid never helped her tap into her powers she would have never impressed Lord Heizen to begin with. And yet she knew what his fate was to be. His own foolishness would come around to haunt him, as even if he made it back from Hell… Lord Heizen’s wrath would not be satisfied. Dark times were headed for the Demon of Shadows… the Demon Lord in training would soon face the harsh reality of his insubordination. And that saddened the Heran Demon to her core. {“I’m sorry, old friend…,”} Delphi said softly in the fabric of his mind. {“You are most assuredly going to die here… I cannot help you. But think hard about what you’re fighting for on the other side, so that you may come back to me… Seid,”} Delphi continued, knowing that this would not appease his anger.
Snapping back into the conversation with Rukia - The young Heran was quiet as the strange woman responded to the terms that Lord Heizen set forth. It was clear that the Demon Lord was taking extra precautions for her that he was not utilizing for Seid. “That is fine with my Lord… he is disappointed with Seid’s disobedience… and so he worded his proposal so that whatever happens to Seid is his own doing,” she said honestly. Truly the Vampire leader had no obligation to do anything about Seid to prevent his fate, as it was no one’s fault but his own. Heizen had forsaken Seid on account of his failure to listen to the Lord’s strict commands. That didn’t make it any easier for the Heran Demon to accept however. It was then that the discussion changed, as the Vampire leader explained her new temporary situation while she was under her care. Delphi was to interact with two Saiyans who the lady had working for her.
Saiyans? Working for someone not of their blood or culture? The same ones who refused to compromise their pride so many times before? It seemed preposterous to the Heran Demon, but she made no remark or expression in response. She did not wish to appear rude, or that she was insinuating that the Vampire was lying to her. Instead she processed the shock and news internally, questioning and accepting it assuredly with sufficient time. She in turn simply nodded, accepting her situation for what it was. Unavoidable. Unnegotiable. As long as she was alive and unharmed, then Rukia was holding up her end of their bargain. This made Delphi content and unwilling to complain. It was more than she had honestly expected when she first approached.
As the Vampire made her way towards Delphi, the hybrid couldn’t help but feel a little nervous as she tensed a little. She resisted the urge to gasp when the Vampire then took hold of her and began to fly towards the city. So they were heading back to where the others were…
Delphi hoped that perhaps this could be resolved… for Seid’s sake at the very least.

Seid fired a Midnight Bomber at 200% Power - 2,715,624 heading toward Holly with the intent to maim removing one half of her torso should it connect.
There wasn't much that the woman had really said to her own terms.
She was pretty compliant, compared to how the other two seemed to be, and with how she had already stated her partner might die, this had only made things even more impressive. To lose the favor of their master, would no doubt lead towards the kind of punishment equivalent to what she gave her own group.
Or at least, used to. The more she grew in power, the more she attributed such things to be something of a phase, and less tempting than what it used to be. Even those foolish enough to really go and challenge her, whether there was a gap in power level on their side or hers, couldn't interest her in the slightest. She could effortlessly dodge a versatile of different attacks, and knowing she wasn't being compliant, took her interest much more. Whether or not a person really had any say in fighting against her, it was her own judgment that would decide whether she wished for it to happen.
There was no forcing to be had, no variables they could really put into play that could change it. Her allies were no longer needed for anything but waiting on the sidelines until she wanted to call them, so who was there to threaten? And if it was really only just a fight they wanted, threatening her domain would do much more than what they sought. She might have been the sort to leave those of her interest alive, so that they could come back and try killing her then, but there were exceptions to such things. These demons were alive because she could vicariously live through what her connections kept her from.
So many people expected her to fit into some role of alignment, as if such things could ever be so simple, which only made her wish to fight against it. This whole agreement concerning her meeting the Queen of demons, while knowing she already had connections to the Saiyan Alliance, was something which only became troublesome if she didn't play her cards right. Her talk with Satsu not that long ago, would pave her way into possessing the alibi she wished.
The more she kept herself busy until the Namek dragonballs could be used again, the more reason there would be missed to miss out on events that could go towards these demons favor. Her allies would still be around to appropriately give them trouble, but that was only expected from what she already built.
Neither side could truly blame her for their own incompetence, if she was suddenly the turning tide of battle, some savior or bringer of destruction, when the Overseer of the Saiyans had other allies. Those who deemed themselves 'good' could so easily gather the aid of Flare and her friends, as they likely always tended to do during invasions thrown at earth. Even the annoying blonde, who she still banked on being alive, could help out.
While these demons were considered 'bad' could expectantly receive help from Caesar, although that man's approach to things might wind up being less intrusive, than what they might want. She already found it rather unbelievable so many had just left fighting someone with that kind of power, like the planet wasn't dying. It was so uncharacteristic, and served to be a prime example of why she fought so hard against being put into such alignments.
Leaving as if there were no consequences, despite many of those at the scene having no right to be still alive, knowing he had completely held back. But it was his own lack of allies on standby, as far as she could remember, that kept him from imposing such a thing. Memories of the event were nothing really more than her own thoughts at this point, feeling a tinge of recognition on what sounded right to her, and knowing there were people that should have died, had been the biggest thing she had no doubts on. They had practically cheated death, and in a way that was so uncaring to the planet they were on.
She might have been on Namek just as well, but there was a difference between all of them outright leaving all at once, along with leaving behind one of their own just as well, and her wishing she could have been on the planet on this crisis. The travel and time it would take, would have been pointless, and cause her to simply see the damage far earlier than she had intended to. There was no comeuppance with that, no outlet to be released against people who would already finish by the time she had arrived. It wasn't a decision she would say she would have regretted in the end, knowing what it got her.
"It'll be a waste, knowing the blonde will likely help out in what I have in mind, and how I can't truly lay a hand on her myself. If she hasn't loss a limb by now with all the time your partner and the other one has been given, I'll be disappointed."
Even as the world visibly blurred by as she ran with the demon in her arms, things still felt agonizingly slow from her perspective. There was really just so much in the world that could have her mind recognize what should be enticing to her and what shouldn't, but that didn't mean it would last.
It was when she was surrounded by her people, that things really felt normal. If this was truly a consequence of power, then it was a burden she had no choice but to bear, and had reason to detest others for, knowing they so often made light of their own transformations. It was foolish to gain power without punishment. For those like the Saiyans or whatever hybrids this planet so often saw, it would be being beat on by those playing for only one side.
With the demon she was carrying accounted for, and the demon she knew appearing to still be standing aside, there didn't seem to be any obstacles keeping her from arriving. The power she was feeling being generated in the air, was nothing compared to her own, and while seemed to be equivalent to the one used to destroy the city, still failed to be much of a problem in her eyes. Arriving to the scene in question, and placing the demon she had been carrying, next to the one she knew of, she wondered just what had been going on while she had been talking to this halfling. It wasn't difficult to dismember the blonde.
"It's fortunate to see you're still around. I would have thought you running your mouth would have you limbless by now, but guess they're just more incompetent than they seem. This one's already marked for death by his master, so I'll leave it to his own will to survive when you're done."
The coming attack that was shot off at the blonde, she had small hopes of actually succeeding, knowing he already had a generous amount of time to deal with the girl, who would likely question the fate of these other two. Like she had told the woman, it would be a waste, knowing she'd rather see these types alive than dead. If he could somehow survive any counter the girl could give though, then she would ensure he would make it back to Makai.
Though such grievous injuries would require heading off to her ship first, and placing them into the healing tank. This was still just playing with the idea the blonde wouldn't just vaporize the demon and send it to Caesar's domain. Her eyes had flicked over to the demon she knew after directing her words at the blonde. It was still in its best transformation state, and its posture, however slight it was, she noticed had some shakiness to it than it should.
"I would also attribute his downfall to be a lack of orders to this one. What's the use of having power, if it's given and not properly used?"
She was well aware her words were hinting at different things dependent on the person's knowledge and perspective of what was going on. For the demon trying to kill the blonde, she wished for it to be a reminder of his pride. The girl who would rule over nothing, beyond what remained of the south, could think what she wished about whether or not her words meant anything mistrust worthy. It would be another opportunity to shoot the girl down in words.
The demon she knew could be reminded of how useless it practically was beyond taking down the city, and how it could have easily helped end the blonde's life. While the halfling she had formed an agreement with, could get a taste of how she paving the opportunity for success, only to have it not taken.
The new queen should have been dead if they only did something as simple as giving the one she knew, a couple of orders, no matter how it must have felt after destroying an entire city. This incompetence were their own fault, as she had provided more than enough time to carry it out, and the personnel.
"If you're wondering about these two, this one should wind up going back to their realm in a matter of a few days, while this one I'll work on reforming, knowing how compliant they've been. You can argue on about taking them to the justice system, but those are resources you'd be misappropriately using in this time of repair."
Gesturing towards the demon she knew, and the one that had been rather compliant, she thought back to the agreement of a restraining order, that it seemed they would actually wind up getting to. Overall, it was a simple 250ft away from herself, but the beef of it included her current and future interests.
No matter how things went down here, it'll still go down her way.

Holly stared at the demon in surprise. This thing’s master wanted to restore Earth? She couldn’t take anything an enemy at face value though. Then again, this stupid creature spewed whatever was on its mind. So maybe there was a grain of truth to what it said. Then it went back to insulting her again. Some things were just par for the course at this point.
“You’ve been sorely underestimated my capabilities throughout the entire fight. Even if I had been born in the demon realm I would have found my own way. If your master truly wishes to restore Earth, then I’ll be making negotiations with him in the near future. Since you are insistent on going against his wishes and are still attacking me, then you give me no choice but to deal with you. Disobedient dogs who lash out indiscriminately should be put down.”
The Vampire then entered the picture, carrying someone that Holly hadn’t seen before. Since she put her next to the other demon she presumed that they were connected somehow. Although this new girl looked nothing like the other two. Regardless, she turned her head slightly so that she was looking at the vampire out of the corner of her eye.
“You chastised me earlier for being naive enough to think that I wouldn’t ever had to fight. The truth is that I am quite capable in battle if I have to be. It’s such an unsightly, ugly affair that I prefer to avoid. Although if they had both decided to take me on at once I have no doubt that I wouldn’t be faring as well as I am currently. I suppose you assumed that some things just go without saying. Although these demons seem to need specific instructions to do anything you want them to do.”
Holly conjured up another magic circle, charging up an attack to deal with the one that she knew that the demon was about to throw out at her. She turned her attention to him fully, although she still responded to the vampires words even while preparing her final engagement.
“Law is only effective if you have the strength to enforce it. Even if Earth hadn’t been invaded as it had been recently, I doubt it would have been able to hold either of these beings long enough for a fair trial. If the one that destroyed East City is intending on leaving, then my immediate sentence on them is to forbid them from ever returning to this planet. If they return, they’ll be met with much more resistance. I simply don’t have the power to do anything else. This one on the other hand… for attempted murder of the monarch, I sentence him to die. If his own master has forsaken him, then it shouldn’t be an issue.”
Holly fired out a beam at the attack that the demon sent her way. Of course she found herself being pushed back by the stronger blast. Holly took a deep breath, and digged deep into her reserves. Suddenly her blast intensified, overtaking the demon’s and headed straight for him. Holly was the type to let her actions rather then her voice speak her words, so she didn’t yell out while tapping into more power. If nothing was done though, the disobedient demon would meet his end here.

Holly uses [OT-3] Arcanis Wrath and clashes it with Seid’s Midnight Bomber. She uses her Expend racial to pour two stamina into it, increasing the attack’s power further. 3,747,975 vs 2,715,624 = 1,032,571 damage headed towards Seid.

Of course they doubted his words. Of course they took this knowledge with a grain of salt. Of course they wanted to control his master’s good intentions for their planet. They were selfish, they were prejudice, they were evil. He hated Earth more than anything he’d ever experienced before, even more than the one who enslaved him. At least Malokai was not a hypocrite who contradicted himself at every turn. He did not pretend to be some beacon of light, like this witch bitch in front of him. He embraced his darkness, and was honest about everything he did. He’d rather still be a slave than serve Heizen on his quest to save this miserable planet. It was better off facing erasure. Unfortunately Heizen’s post had risen to great heights. He was the second most influential Demon in Makai, both in power and in stature. He was the ally and General of the Demon Queen as far as the Shadow Demon was aware. To fall this far outside of Heizen’s will was a death sentence.
He would have to settle for the girl. With a scowl on his face - he prepared himself as the girl once again summoned up power she should not have. Was the pool of magic she wielded truly so vast? At the very least he was recording this data for his master - who would need this knowledge should he ever have to fight such a foe himself. Even him with all of his might would prove to find this ability of hers alarming. Though even she could not dare hope to defeat Heizen with her power - she could make him exert himself to the point of vulnerability. His Lord would truly be weakened.
Why was he thinking about his Lord right now? The one who had abandoned him! The one who had cursed him for falling out of line just a little bit!
And so the electric blue-whitish lightning blast met his black beam of energy with sharp resistance. Initially Seid laughed as his blast began to push back her own with ease - having taken the time to charge his attack before firing it (unlike the witch). It served her right for being so goddamn stubborn, so annoying, and so damn pompous! He would dance on her grave when she bit the dust for her most ungraceful of exits from this mortal coil..
But then suddenly she began to push him back… her power equating to his own as the blue lightning soon stood on equal ground with his black energy beam… the two struggling back and forth as if it could go either way. “How… How is she still challenging me? How far does this pitiful pool of magic go? Does she possess an infinite reservoir of power?!” he panicked inside of his head, not having any energy to push this further. Pushing his energy to its very limits as he roared with rage, his body growing even larger in size from the sheer force of energy pushing the energy attack. But still it was slowly coming toward him… and Delphi…. The Vampire… The Demon… None of them were doing anything to help him. Just watching there as he bit off this deadly beam…
He screamed in horror as he realized he truly was going to die…. Delphi watched as the two continued their back and forths - Seid never being so passionate about hating or arguing with someone in his life. Her red eyes staring as the two’s back and forths as her Heran blood continued to boil beneath the surface. She wanted nothing more to get involved. Nothing more to rip that blonde bitch apart from limb to limb alongside Seid. But Seid would never forgive her for interfering in his fight. She would wait for the results of their clash and nothing else. If the blonde bitch was dead, then good for him. If Seid found himself badly injured… then she would do everything in her power to help him. Even if it meant endangering the mission and defying Lord Heizen’s orders. Even if the Vampire decided to try to stop her, and killed her for it.
He was her friend…and she wasn’t going to let him die if he lost… A large explosion rang out as the electric lightning coursed through Seid’ body - burning and shocking him all over his body with immense pain. Truly the gigantic Shadow Demon thought that he was going to die, and so he almost did. Blood poured in the masses across the scorched wounds of the Demon all across his body, his body barely able to stand up. He was critically injured.. But somehow through the entirety of it all… Seid had survived the attack. His red eyes lowered and squinting at the blonde. “Fuck… you…,” was all he could mutter before falling to the ground. Though he wasn’t dead, to expect him to fight was beyond ridiculous at this point. He was half-dead.
A thumping in her heart, Delphi let out a shout as her hair turned into a darker shade of red along with the shade of her eyes, her skin turning into a light green and her energy skyrocketing to a large degree (like those of the Super Saiyans). “This fight is over!” she called to the blonde while ensnaring with a bunch of tiny needles threaded from her ki. The signature technique of her people, the ability to fine tune their energy in such a delicate and subtle manner that it could tie up her foes from head to toe. The threads could only be sustained for a short time however due to their costly nature. Holly would soon lose all function of her body as they tied her with an impossible level of constriction (though they took no measures to injure the target).
Delphi walked over with the threads in hand as she made her way over to Seid. {“You have already nearly killed him. He wouldn’t be hurting anyone from now on. My Lord will accept him back in Makai to face his punishment. Trust me… that should be sufficient, and if it’s not… then you can fight me next, witch!”} she echoed in Holly’s mind with a much more vicious, and aggressive tone than usual. Her Heran blood resulted in this rather strange change in behavior. While she was previously docile, now she felt the fierceness of a mighty Heran warrior. Holly would surely regret it if she dared to cross her now, especially in the state she was currently in.
She knew what Seid had to look forward too… and it was not going to be pretty by any measure. Not by any measure.
{“My Lord… Seid has been defeated by the Mage who is presently acting as the Queen of Planet Earth… I have done as you asked regarding the Vampire… I demand you open up a portal for him!”} she said passionately, not afraid that she was ordering around her own master right now. Truly she felt true fearlessness in this moment, though it brought her great folly.
And with that… no response was given telepathically. All that she knew was a portal soon opened up in the sky itself big enough for just two people. Her Lord as a Full-Blooded Demon possessed a better control of this trans-dimensional power and could therefore handle the strain of taking either himself and another… or two different individuals. And with that if she was not interrupted... she flew up with the Demon in hand and softly pushed him toward the portal floating. It took all the concentration he had just to float in place without falling down to his death.
If they were uninterrupted then he would find himself back in Makai… where his harsh punishment awaited him. {“Tanariul... the portal can transport one other person… if you wish to meet with Nakiya and Heizen then you are free to use it to travel back to Makai. If you choose to remain here for the time being however until I myself go back… then that is fine as well,”} she said in the Demon’s mind gently, offering it as a suggestion.
She wouldn’t mind the company on Earth, since she knew of no other demons on this planet. Or Herans for that matter…

[Seid used Bulking to empower himself further during the clash… making his new power level 1,659,548/905,208. That made his attack during the clash 3,319,096/1,810,416. 3,319,096 - 3,747,975= 428,879 damage to Seid. This leaves him with 23,725 health remaining from his 452,604 health (50% of 905,208). Thus he is critically injured but not dead. He can barely maintain flight at this point. ]

That was practically what the blonde's words were, with how she just kept sputtering on about something that was already stated, and believing that she had some kind of advantage over the situation. It was truly tiring to hear, and knowing she could only watch these two clash their attacks without having the girl point any fingers, her interest in what sounded like another back and forth between them, was just nonexistent. The world around her, from her own perspective, struggled to stop seeming so warped and out of line, with what had once been normal. It was agonizingly slow one moment, and normal the next.
Yet, she could still process and hear things for what they were supposed to be, even if her mind couldn't care less about the girl's words, which were muffled and as uninteresting as one would expect from the gap between them. Her own position, which she had smoothly claimed for a year now, compared with what just seemed like the blonde chancing upon the favor of someone who was now dead, practically made this whole thing like some random arguing with an official. All that was missing would be the blonde presenting some crude and poorly made documents, like it was put together by a kid, to mark her as crazy.
Something she was sure the girl would still somehow justify in her mind to be official, despite the facts that were presented. Whether it was said on the whims of emotion or not, the blonde was willing to say she would refuse to repair infrastructure, if it meant being associated with her. And with the kind of connections that she had already established on Namek, and working beyond the planet there, that would possibly also imply that same mindset as well.
To anyone who was willing to work with her, even if their power would have been beneficial, because the girl had also stated she was more willing to consider earth before any alliances. Wanted the planet to fix itself up, even though there would already be ready resources she could send back.
There was also the whole believing a business name that continued to exist, throughout the more than 500 years of history it had already established for itself, not being able to just switch to the only business running in the market. That there weren't any plans from previous generations on how to avoid a stock crash. The world continued to run fine as that kitsune had died, and it hadn't just been waiting around for the blonde to just claim this title.
Any belief that the existence of this girl, being the thing keeping the society's market from collapsing, was just ludicrous. As if there was really such a thing as a chosen one, and the implication of such a thing, implying the girl would find herself immortal, if it was really so dependent on one being.
Even the legends of her own kin, or really legends of any race, talking about some kind of higher power they once had, was clearly just something for future generations to work up to. It wasn't anything just written in stone, and she knew that from seeing what the afterlife truly was, with that man's forcing.
"Forgetting that there were plenty of other things. Truth and lies are a game meant to be played by people with actual power, and not someone relying on the favor of the dead, and a population acting as refugees on some other planet. Assume what you want, but it should be obvious they're not the sort to care for preferences."
People already visited the tower near here, as often as some kind of attraction, where they choose to climb the tower, rather than simply flying up there. A baseless idea that it would bring growth, when it was just some overly sized method of a workout, and the equivalent of climbing trees instead of using proper tools. What the blonde cared for, as she was practically only repeating now from earlier, didn't matter. The same was likely to happen to her by some nobodies, if she could ever procure a planet for herself. A costly mistake if there ever was one, but some people were just rather persistent idiots.
Believed themselves to be an equal, just because someone like a Saiyan, had achieved something like Super Saiyan 2, and wouldn't immediately die to her. If she could get things her way with the Guru's blessing, then that would be under her consideration just as well, knowing Saiyans always tried to travel where they wished. Not all of them might have thought the same as that careless blonde swordsman, but they were still more than naive about certain procedures.
There was a certain mistake the girl had made from her words, though it could have easily just been intentional, knowing the blonde took into consideration this planet first, than the others. She was at least admitting she was powerless against the one she knew of, and acknowledging where her place was.
"If it survived due to the Elemi and her friends, two or three disposable demons should be nothing. Put more into consideration on the invaders trying again, than believing that demons are really the end all of things."
Which would actually come to fruition, given the time. Caesar seemed well enough beyond his mourning for the Elemi he had fused with, which thinking about now, it was surprising to know the girl had been weak enough, not have spoken to her in that reality marble. With her own influence also paving the way, and a meeting with their queen considering those options, earth getting taken over by their kind should happen, whether or not those who evacuated returned.
Repairing infrastructure should take enough time to put things to action, and if what that man had been implying was correct, then the Overseer of the Saiyan Alliance cared less about earth, than he had led people to believe. She doubted he wouldn't send help if it was on her behalf, but they should have both knew that she wasn't the sort to ask for his personal influence. The blonde might also be given the title of queen just as well, but her influence extending to only Bris at best, likely trying to continue whatever connections the kitsune built during her time here, which could be disturbed.
The towerkeeper wasn't yet something to worry for, knowing he had died to Caesar, and whatever strength he could gain from a possible revival, wouldn't be enough without any allies. What she had saw of him from the man's memories, and what she knew of him herself from that one tournament, was that he was no savior of mankind. Its last hope. She was sure there were other wannabes wishing to fight evil, beyond the blonde here, that had only yet to gain relevance.
She would just have to time herself right into being off world, if they chose to attack, and consider the possibility of something earlier happening, because of carelessness that wouldn't be her own fault. Providing a means to do something, like she had intended with this deal with them, was different from being their reason of failure. If they couldn't fight off her own allies, who would appropriately defend to keep up appearances, her hands were tied.
The blonde's clashing with this demon, was so obviously the work of magic, she wasn't surprised at all to see it actually appeared to be working. It really did seem like it was weak enough to die by someone who innately had their power hidden, and the only hope it had for survival, would be from its partner.
She studied the face of the Heran, wondering just what kind of relationship these two must have actually had. Some kind of feaux sibling rivalry? Or matters of the heart? Whatever it was, the halfling was desperate enough to practically defy her and her lord, if it meant trying to go and save her partner.
She allowed the woman to rush out there, and from the looks of things, try and ensnare the blonde. It was foolish, and she doubted would cause the girl to paint the demon into the light she wanted. Would likely give her trouble too, even if the restraining order against the blonde, was meant to include figurative insurance against carelessness like this. A scoff had escaped her, as she had rushed over, and near where the halfling was.
The portal that had opened up into the sky, she could care less for. Especially since it practically granted part of what the blonde wanted, with having the demon she knew leave the planet. Of who she could feel didn't hesitate into charging towards the portal, where the halfling's partner was sent towards.
"Get angry all you wish about this one being careless, and taking away what you no doubt feel was a deserved kill, but I'm still planning on keeping this one alive, as one of our conditions of the restraining order. Nothing but her outcry out of love from this action, and her origin, which can be handled, could restrain her from being one of Capsule Corp's interns. The lowest position I can offer anyone under me. Though if you feel the need to really torture it by some means, as even I can't guess what other delusions you can come up with, then I can turn the other way, if you're going to make another example on you working off of your emotions."
She would take whatever hit, the blonde might be able to muster, in not allowing those two demons to go back to their realm. It was the Heran where things got complicated, but the fact of the matter was, if the girl really had some sort of death wish, then it wouldn't be her who caused the halfling harm.
The demon she knew, she didn't care enough for, to feel concern about it possibly getting struck.

Holly gave the demon a cold grin as she felt her attack push through his own. What was particularly satisfying about all of this was how terrified he was of her. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw that he had survive her attack though. How was he even talking to her in the condition that he was in?
“You… survived? I suppose the tenacity of the stubborn shouldn’t be underestimated, even if they are lacking functional brain cells.”
Holly’s vision had gone almost completely dark at this point, everything in front of her appearing as blurs to the blonde. Although her hair had a tinge of grey in it from the effort of pouring into her reserves the way she did. She would have fallen to her knees, but she was supported up by what felt like to be invisible threads sent out by the demon that had been brought there by the Vampire. She could sense them, but they were all so small that she probably would be unable to see them even if she could see properly. She looked towards the demon who had ensnared her, straining herself with the effort of holding her head up.
“I no longer have the strength to enforce Earth’s laws onto him. If he’s to be judged by the laws of your world, then I won’t do anything more to him. If he ever returns to Earth, he will face judgement for the actions he’s committed today. The same thing applies to the demon who destroyed this city. Banishment is a kindness compared to the normal penalties that they would normally suffer.”
A portal then opened up in the sky, presumably to the dimension where these demons had come from. While she kept her sensing abilities trained on the demons, she turned her head to where the Vampire was standing, responding to everything that the patronizing woman threw out at her.
“You’re a truly repulsive individual. I keep my agreements even with people I hate though. If you don’t like how I handle things, then kill me now and take my place. I’d prefer that to being degraded by you any further today. If you do decide to go out of your way to protect the demons who attacked this city and my person, I will not be able to touch them if you bring them to West City. However I shall take note of the fact that if you do so, you decided to shelter criminals who attacked Earth residence. Discluding the demon you brought with you here, of course. If you aren’t going to kill me, send the paperwork to the Valiare residence. I doubt you will have difficulty locating it.”
It was all Holly could do to just remain conscious at this point. She didn't want to appear unsightly in front of people and wanted to keep up the appearance of strength. She especially didn't want to show any weakness towards the vampire that loved to insult her so. Holly had too much pride to just let herself pass out if she could help it. Although her current condition was putting her thought hell just keeping herself awake. Today had pushed her to her absolute brink.

Delphi’s face softened at the Vampire’s words, finding herself rather confused by the madam’s words. Love? Was that what she felt for Seid? It seemed like such a strange thing to her, this desire to protect the Shadow Demon despite his stupidity. All she knew was that she was glad that he had gotten out of this dreadful place. As quickly as it came, so did her transformation fade. The strings that held Holly would immediately vanish, leaving Rukia and Delphi side by side as the Heran Demon now returned to a more docile state. The Vampire would not see further insubordination from the Heran, as her only desire had just been granted to her. She would return to devoting herself to the Vampire and to her Lord for as long as this agreement held up between the two of them.
“I apologize for the disruption. It won’t happen again,” Delphi said to the Vampire with earnest sincerity. She would keep her hot temper and aggressive mannerisms suppressed as she normally did. Such things were meant to be reserved for the battlefield, and this was a battlefield no longer. She completely ignored the state of the blonde mage from this point on. She was no longer a threat to any of them for the time being. Seid and Tanariul would be met with Heizen in Makai, where the former would face punishment. He would live, but he would soon know pain the likes of which he’d never experienced before.
But who knows what lie in store for the latter when she arrived at his steps.

The blonde had simply remained where she was, ensnared by the strings the halfling had sent out, and looking as if she was barely able to keep her head up. It was an interesting sight to see, knowing it was all just likely keeping up with appearances, if the girl had managed to end up surviving this long.
The feeling of power that came with magic, as someone who was part of a race composed of blood magic, wasn't something that could easily just go away. At least, her kind's variant of magic. The state that the blonde seemed to be in, there had to at least been some kind of trickling feeling present.
As if something was trying to bubble up, but unable to. If she was truly in a state where she was depleted of what reserves she had, then there should have been nothing keeping the girl from passing out. That will of hers only served to prove the blonde's own persistence, and unwillingness to just settle.
Learning to lose was the kind of idea sprung up when the options at hand, forced the person to accept the current conclusion. It was meant to teach some form of humility, and acknowledge that even someone who seemed like they had figured out everything, could still fail. That there wasn't perfection.
For a moment, the girl's words to the demon had truly made it seem as if it followed that idea, knowing that those other two had gone back to their realm. But it was really just more of what should have been obvious being stated. Of course if those two had came onto the planet while the blonde was around, they would be treated as hostiles. They were clear demons, and even if they had been acting upon orders, there was supposed to be some kind of consequence.
A city just couldn't fall without repercussions. This halfling here, hadn't even really aided those two, so there was no place in accusing the woman as such. Although the fact that the demon really believed she was allowed to do something, without her having a chance to intervene, really was foolish.
"It happened because I allowed it."
Like what the blonde was starting to go on about, there was nothing really stopping her from just attacking the halfling for herself. Nothing but her time having been wasted, in trying to form a deal in the first place, and making use of opportunities where she saw them. With those two having escaped back to Makai, and the blonde's own acknowledgment it was a possibility they would come back, she could make use of it. Earth might not exactly be a target anytime soon. If the demons had truly wanted the planet for themselves, then it was better for her to start introducing her own kind to society first.
Have the blonde understand that evacuating the planet, and residing on some other one, didn't mean they couldn't be replaced. Her own kin would be able to handle whatever dust and debris was around any newly finished or currently being repaired buildings, more so than those that had already left the planet.
Could deal with the rough conditions, and the time it would take before the land could truly be restored. The demons and their role in wanting the planet, could come into play when a few things were cleared up first. With West City being the only thing standing, it shouldn't be a difficult takeover.
She wanted to say they would be on their own if it succeeded however, knowing a place of demons, would only be a step above earthlings like the blonde. But the Saiyans and their interest on this planet, should have lessened, if their population had been revived by now. Those who evacuated earth, could simply just stay on Bris, like how the 'good' half of the Saiyans were currently occupying Namek. If one planet pulled it off, then those on Bris could mimic it.
"Says you and every other blonde I've met, which is where you're late again. And your death would only be a temporary solution, that wouldn't even fix what hole you call reasoning, because there you go again assuming things. Our agreement might have mentioned my inclusion of those who have captured my interest, but I'm not going to include hostiles under that. Your little clash with this one's partner, I could have solved with half of the power in this form. This undeserved confidence of yours is what's abhorrent, seeing as how I'm the one not about to pass out."
If they were really going to keep playing this game of assumptions, then her own would have been taking care of the demon’s partner with a chaser technique, under any other circumstances. She might have made a secret deal with them, but any life of those she knew that they could take between now and the future, would be returned back. Her power would represent the anguish they weren’t strong enough to carry out on their own, even if their deaths was apart of her planning.
”If you think fighting one demon makes you qualified, you’re clearly wrong. Anyone prepared would have made use of a healing capsule, and multiple of them. It’s not a position that’s a learning process either. You’re absolutely daft to believe that can even get by in this position.”
Any well deserved confidence would have came from knowing what the afterlife entailed, like she did, knowing the girl lacked a substantial amount of power, according to her own admission. A detail she could have easily chosen to share, but with the girl already having a tendency to be late when it comes to really hearing things, it was information best kept exclusive. For those who seemed to have half of a brain, in knowing where their odds were, while on the ground.
”The agreement will be signed as I intended, and an Elemi will arrive to heal your condition.”
Turning away from the blonde, and once again making the effort to carry the halfling, she could have just as easily suggested the girl to head towards Korin’s Tower, and see whoever was left alive there. Flare and her friends were around and about so much, it was unclear just really where they could be. East City’s fall however, she would hardly say was a time of need. One of the other Matriarchs would wind up patrolling through here later anyway.
She sped off from the area, knowing the blonde being alive would be the biggest leverage with these demons.

Once the negotiations revolving around the demons had been settled, the technique that was holding Holly off wore off. The Magi fell to her hands and knees, panting with the exertion of keeping herself awake. She had tried to put on a strong front for as long as she could, but she just didn't have the strength to even pretend she wasn't about to collapse entirely. Oh, how she wish she had something, anything to show to that vampire. But she had nothing and both of them knew it. She didn't even have to state the obvious: she could have easily stopped all the fighting in East City should she had wanted to.
Holly wasn't sure why she didn't. Maybe she was like her and didn't prefer getting her hands dirty. Perhaps she had some type of plan or indirect gain from all of this that Holly could not for the life of her see. Or maybe this was all to prove a point to her. Trying to prove that the Magi was truly out of her league. That was entirely possible since she was going out of her way to tell her how every blonde she met before she had gone in on how easily she could have solved this. Then she outright concluded things by saying that an Elemi would be there to heal her soon. Which completely baffled the Magi. Just what was this person's goals? Was this just the most roundabout attempt at world domination the world had ever seen? Holly considered herself a very smart person, yet she couldn't wrap her head around what this confounded Vampire was up to. Either she was so crazy that it was impossible to view this from a logical perspective, or somehow the Vampire was playing a game so far above her that she couldn't even comprehend it. Although Holly would never admit to the latter.
She opened her mouth, trying to say something, anything in response to what the vampire had just said to her. But all that came out of her mouth was a ragged breath. Her voice was too broken for her to say anything right now. Soon darkness took her completely as her consciousness left her. Holly fell facedown on the ground, completely spent and with nothing else in there. This was the worst day of her life, yet she had ultimately gotten what she had set out to achieve. Life was full of little ironies it seemed.
