A streak of fire descended from the sky. Holly’s pod had broken through the atmosphere and was heading down towards the eastern islands. Holly was coming over the north, wanting to see the damage for herself. What she found was appalling. The north was completely barren. She already knew that much though. She could sense as much before she even got onto the planet. Although it was still shocking to actually see it.
<All of this destruction and violence to obtain power at our expense. We’ve been at the mercy of aliens for years. This will be the last time they bring such destruction upon us.>
The Spacepod passed the remains of the tree of might, which was now nothing more than a twisted, misshapen skeleton of wood. She shot past it, quickly heading towards East City. Holly wanted to make position clear to the beings that she was going to negotiate with. Granted it might not mean that much to them considering how strong they were compared to her, but she was confident enough in her capabilities to make it out of things alive if things turned south.
The spacepod landed outside of the palace. Normally there would have been guards and a bunch of other people milling about. They had all evacuated, leaving the place bare. Holly stepped out of the pod, her head turning and surveying her surroundings as she walked towards the elaborate building. Rinako’s correlation had been a grand event that came with its own parade. Her claim to the throne was a different experience than that though. Holly opened the double doors to the palace and walked inside.
The Magi made her way to Rinako’s former office. It was left in the condition that it was in when Rinako was still the Queen. Holly would decorate it to her own liking later. Right now she had to prepare for what was to come. Holly went over to where Rinako kept her tea. She began to boil a kettle of water over in the small kitchen that was located right next to the office. The place seemed to be designed to be as convenient as possible for the monarch.
Holly sat down behind Rinako’s desk, waiting for the people to show up. Holly was counting on the powerful beings noticing her approach and coming to investigate her. She had not used a stealth drive coming in on her space pod, and didn’t bother to suppress her power. Since she was a new power that just came onto a rather empty earth, she was sure to stick out like a sore thumb. The only question that remained now was who was going to be the first person to come to her?
East City was the last place anyone should have been.
Both the north and south had already seen abandonment from the battles that went on not that long ago, and with the queen publicly being known had died, that left the place without a protector. It was only her corporation continuing to provide relief for those who were still alive and living in the remains of both, that those there still had any hope at all. West City was the place to be because of it, and her own presence around there shouldn’t have been a secret.
But even knowing that in the first place, she still found herself coming here. Although hardly of her own accord. The Majin who had sought refuge from her, and whose family she owed a favor to for providing her with zeni back in the day, had requested an escort to see her family again, personally.
Anyone else could have easily filled up the role she had, if not for the alien believing her parents would have been happy to meet her again, knowing that she hadn’t seen the two since her fledgling days. Though it wasn’t as if coming here would have been a loss on her part, knowing its importance.
The position of the queen might have been vacant at the moment, but she was sure there would be some source of power that would claim the title for themselves. A means to do so was provided after all, with what little energies was around. Though it only made it easier to spot the odd ki signature out.
Walking with the Majin, who looked around in clear worry on where the city had gotten itself in, she could detect two distinct ones. She was starting to become well acquainted with one of them, who was practically an experiment to test out the things she wished she could have done herself, if not for her ties.
Another signature she hadn’t recognize, though held a power that was significantly stronger than most around here. But still nothing compared to her acquaintance, who she trusted was going to wind up using her gift, in order to make things interesting.
The only matter was just when things would descend into chaos, and having witnesses that shouldn’t be witnesses, sticking by her. Her only concern was the Majin she was escorting, who she knew to be so eager to see her parents again in what had been weeks since leaving her home here. She would have felt pity for the girl back in her days as a fledgling, but as an Antediluvian now, she truly couldn’t help but care for her own kind more, and its future.
Still, she at least was still able to recognize the lack of empathy she was missing, far easier than when she had been just a Matriarch. Could even fake it if she had to. Though to hide her true colors wasn’t a necessity. Not when there were so few that truly knew her and the goals she had.
”You feel that too, don’t you? We’ll be making a detour and heading towards the one coming from where the queen used to live. I’m sure it’ll be beneficial for us.”
There was no arguing from the Majin, just a determined nod that had briefly broke away the alien’s worry, knowing there was a threat hanging around in the other direction to where she wanted to go. But the girl was just too obedient and grateful for their agreement, to really go against her own wishes. That was what she needed the most right now, as they headed towards the palace, and her mind wandered, picturing all of the things she wished to test with whoever was challenging for the position of queen. They were going to learn that there was more to the role than just a paycheck to keep up.
And hopefully, they would be more vocal about their actions, than the kitsune ever had been, just as well. That had possibly been her only disappointment with their old leader. Never having gotten acquainted because what the kitsune did that she would have considered to be important, happened behind the scenes that required hearing by ear instead of witnessing. A new rule potentially being in place, should mean that things go differently.
The world dulled away around her into a muffle, with the Majin voicing her concerns and being as chatty as she expected from someone so docile and innocent. While she said what she could to alleviate the worries, which the Majin seemed to buy according to the smile she saw, she couldn’t have been more disinterested, and looking forward to arriving at the palace. The sight of the building brought things to normal from her perspective, if only temporarily.
Not only was the place unguarded, but the front doors were open. Showing that whoever was trying to claim the role, was already shaping up to be a disappointment. She remembered the day she had taken over Capsule Corp as a Countess, having a group of those serving her, to help make the decision easier than she had figured things would be, as the only challenge with doing so came from her own paranoia on what could go wrong, having spent an hour planning.
None of earth’s protectors bothered to stop her, which only meant it was possible the same could happen here with this person. Not at all interested in fighting a battle she knew she would already win, the best obstacle she could offer with this one, is testing how naive this one was. She imagined there would be doubts with the things she had to tell, but that was just one of the fun parts of being more enlightened than most, when it came to knowing death could be cheated.
Entering the office doors, she had spotted a blonde, and someone who looked so much like an earthling, or at least would have, if not for her knowing better that wasn’t likely. She hadn’t bothered to transform at all, despite the current difference between them in power, which she could sense was just exuding off of the girl. But that fact alone made her smile, as she and the Majin had taken a seat. This office likely hadn’t seen much use since the queen had died.
”Whether you know who I am or not, based upon rumors or other means, I’d have to say you make for a disappointment when it comes to replacing the old queen, who had a much higher power. Before I’ll allow anyone to leave this room, I’d like to pick apart your mind and see just what makes you different instead of foolish, as I’ve been eying this title longer than you’ve likely even gained what you call power.
Start by answering if you’re aware of the existence of a certain fiery Elemi, who would make a much more better candidate for this title, if not for her own hot-headedness. And don’t even try to be cheeky about it, as you’ll find I take politics seriously.”
Her brown eyes had probably lit up more than it ever had, since being put into a situation where she had to talk to that man.

Holly felt them well before either of them came in. They were among the powers she had sensed coming in. Once she felt them heading in her direction, she knew that she would be getting company soon. Once they actually entered the room, Holly’s eyes darted back and forth between the two of them. One of them was clearly an alien of some type. Although she didn’t recognize what kind of being she was. Holly was only familiar with a few races at the moment, although she hoped to expand her knowledge in time. The other one looked like a human in appearance. Although Holly could sense that she was something else entirely. She was certainly the stronger of the two of them. Holly set her eyes on this individual, speaking to her calmly.
“It looks like you two are the first to arrive. We might be getting more company soon. It looks as though I don’t need to resort to creating a beacon: the spacepod and my energy signature were sufficient enough in getting your attention. You two have arrived a little earlier then I expected though: the tea isn’t ready quite yet.”
The two of them took a seat without any prompting. So at the very least they intended on talking with her. Unfortunately that was the only silver lining she was going to get it seemed. The rest of the conversation involved how disappointing she was to this individual. She sat there calmly and listened to her. The Magi folded her hands in her lap, responding to this person calmly, despite the nature of the conversation.
“I’ve never met this Elemi in person, much like how I’ve never met you in person up until now. Yet I know who you’re referring to by their aura. Each person’s ki has a very distinct signature to them, even if they are of the same species. Fiery… yes that describes that person very well. I don’t know your name yet, but I know who you are. You’re the one who surrounds herself with other strong powers. Not nearly as strong as you are of course, but they’re all far stronger than the average Earthling. I suppose an introduction is in order. My name is Holly Dae Valiare, chosen successor to the throne by Rinako herself. She sent out a telepathic message to the people of Earth informing them as such. Although you wouldn’t have heard it, considering you weren’t even on Earth at the time.”
Holly kept her focus entirely on the stronger of the two. The other one just seemed to be following this individual around. If there was a need to speak to them, then she would do so. Although she suspected that the conversation would just between her and this individual.
“Ever since I was young, my ki sensing abilities far surpassed everyone else's. In time I was able to sense things beyond the boundaries of Earth. I became able to sense those on other planets. They were lights in the darkness of space. Lately more and more those lights have been getting extinguished though. Earth nearly met the same fate. Which is why I don’t blame you for thinking that a leader needs to be strong enough to take on those threats in a fight. It’s why you think those such as that Elemi or yourself are better qualified for this position. You’re misguided if you think that’s what makes a good ruler though. You can fight those strong powers regardless of the title or position you have. What I seek to do is something that can’t be accomplished with brute force alone though.”
Then Holly gave the young-looking girl a smirk, her lips curling upwards only slightly. It was a strange reaction considering how Rukia was addressing her. It was almost as if Holly knew something that she didn’t.
“Although if it’s my lack of power that concerns you, then you don’t need to worry. You’re certainly much stronger than me, that much is true. Although I had an encounter with a Saiyan that might interest you. I met him in the woods when I was investigating the strong powers that had converged on this planet. “What can a person with a power level as low as yours do against these monstrous powers?” 5 minutes later, he was singing a completely different tune. You all rely on that energy sensing ability of yours so much that you fail to see what’s really in front of you. If you can literally peer into my mind, then you’d understand what you’re dealing with. I'm much more then I appear to be, much like you are. You look like a child, but that couldn't be further from the truth.”
Holly leaned back in the chair, gauging Rukia’s responses. She wanted to observe every body moment, ever expression on her face. How well things would go here would be heavily determined on how well she could understand the person she was talking to right now.
“You could easily take the throne by force from me if you so wished. Even if I had brought guards with me it wouldn’t have changed that fact. They can’t do anything given the current circumstances, so I wasn’t going to risk their lives for nothing. Yet every human who heard Rinako’s message has recognized me as the next successor. If you take over by force, you’ll be just as bad to them as the people who invaded Earth. It seems like the universe operates by a might makes right philosophy. I intend on guiding Earth on a path that will lead us to being able to survive in such a harsh environment. Doing that requires guiding the hearts and minds of my subjects, which can’t be accomplished through power alone. If you wish to take the throne for yourself, then go right ahead. Although you would be the Queen of a half dead planet over a small population. Rinako’s final order was to evacuate as many people off of Earth as I possibly could. You’d never find your subjects, unless you can truly read my mind. Although if you can do that, then you’d realize that things aren’t what they appear to be.”
If this person truly believed that strength was what qualifies someone the most to be in this position, then they had another thing coming to them. The Magi would show them what it truly meant to be a ruler, all without throwing a single punch.
There were few she knew of, who couldn't at least feel the weight of power exuding, if they couldn't sense ki.
Those sort were the least of her concerns, knowing their senses were so dull in a way that was untouched, their mere existence could have been wiped in the blink of an eye. For someone like this blonde to go try to claim the title of queen at a power so insignificant, it appeared to be even smaller than the male Saiyan who challenged her on Namek, only meant that the girl must have been keeping some kind of secret that gave such confidence.
There had been no surprise at all, seeing them arrive, and even further insisting the idea that more people would show up. This level of comfort said enough her suspicions were right, though didn't fail to make her wonder whether or not what the blonde knew or saw as comfort, wasn't just outright laughable.
Perspectives could be just so twisted by one's own culture, and from the people she had already come across, especially the Saiyans who made their temporary home on Namek, their own actions were just so justifiable in their own mind. But those people actually had an ample's worth of power to be heard in the first place. Here was this girl, who she still continued to doubt was merely just an earthling, settling into a position without her face being known of.
There was just no visible worth she was seeing, beyond the tone in those words, that were so leisure, and reason why she leaned forward rather than back. Earlier than expected, she says. They were supposed to be contingencies for these kind of things. It was supposed to be expected that plans would change.
The fact that the blonde was even bothering to use a beacon at all, only showed just how many steps behind this girl must have been, if she wasn't over a phase like that. With how often the earth was attacked, something like power wasn't going to just gather those who called themselves earth's protectors.
She had tried that tactic enough as a fledgling to know otherwise. But ignorance from someone of this caliber, granted nothing but a keen eye and a listening ear to just how this blonde thought. She was already disappointed in the lack of allies around, and no credit to an army, small or not.
"If you think you're important enough to draw attention with a beacon, then you clearly haven't been acquainted with those living in the tower near the land."
She hadn't really done so either, beyond meeting one of them in a tournament, but that didn't matter. Their names and a sample of their personalities, she already knew of, from the memories that man had shown her, and her own notes ensuring she wouldn't have forgotten. It was just waiting for an opportunity to arise to use it, which it was by her own doing hadn't happened. There wasn't a need with how their morals contrasted from her own kind.
The Majin she had brought along with her for both safety, and as a possible matter of topic, followed her in taking a seat after a slight bow, her hands twiddling a thumb along the other. It wasn't likely at all the alien knew what was even being said, and she was sure the girl would soon find enough comfort to pass the time away on a phone. She wasn't going to be needed until later, and the Majin had been around her long enough to know to keep quiet.
"You're preaching to someone who can smell the difference in ki, and so far double the experience. If you really wish to make yourself less redundant, I expect to hear less from you until prompted. Though continue on while I count the mistakes."
The blonde was already going beyond two, from both not having an army, and not moving on from drawing those with power, through beacons. Had she been in this position, the palace would have been filled, and rather than expect any guests wishing to oppose, their stuff would have simply been moved in.
A third mistake was already made, from assuming someone of her power wouldn't know ki and its differentiation, like the back of her hand. Another from admitting even with the pale skin she possessed, the girl couldn't even guess what she was beyond not being a typical earthling like most.
Then there was the most typical thing to ever be said by anyone, which even a self-made god like that man, wasn't immune to making, in that introductions were really an essential part to a discussion. No, she saw it more as a disruption, and an implication the blonde felt herself more important than she really was. Her interest in the conversation might not have died down as of yet, but the world did blur around her, muffling the girl's voice.
It would have been fitting for what she was hearing, to lean fully over onto the desk, her hand propped up by her chin. But as much as she didn't express it, no longer caring for humanity in general, this whole thing required proper posture to not make herself to be more of a fool than the blonde already was. Even that Elemi she only knew from memories, would have been more tolerable having this position. That woman would at least have the right power.
"Of course not. When you have four times the experience that I do, positions of power such as these can provide more than enough leisure to make enough trips off and onto the planet. You say introductions are in order as if you are of importance beyond a possible upbringing into money, another mistake that makes it clear you've never been within power long enough, much like how you still make use of beacons to draw in those with power, to outgrow introductions. I've already received more info than I had asked for, and while you might argue possessing comfort in revealing such, it's the most typical excuse I can hear with no credibility backing behind this confidence, in what I'm sure is some little thing beyond having that kitsune's blessing. If you wish for an introduction, you may know the name of one of my interns."
"Ah, Saeko from East City."
Her eyes had glanced over to the Majin sitting besides her, who had started drawing on some app, from the look of things. Upon hearing herself be addressed, the Majin had spoken up, eyes briefly determined, as if she was being called on by a sergeant in the military. The girl had looked at her afterwards, as if asking if that was it, and unless prompted otherwise, had gone back to her drawing. She was content with the response, for all of the wrong reasons.
One of the lowest things that could have been done, and made even lower, had the Majin been unpaid, was to practically say someone that docile had more value in her eyes than the blonde. If the girl had belonged to some other small corporation, she would have easily been unappreciated.
Much like how a fifth mistake arose, with the blonde so obviously keeping her attention away from the Majin. If that had been Sayako, and she had meant to come here for an assassination, the girl would have already taken a lunge with her mass of flesh to restrain the blonde. A lot of things could have happened to the blonde that she had the power to initiate. Even giving the girl to that man and making her into a slave, as an experience for hardship.
"Look at you, giving an unprompted glimpse of your background, and continuing to reveal I have eight times the experience you do. If there's anyone whose misguided here, you're the very definition. Believing yourself to not be outbeat in sensing, when I know for certain I have several allies who can detect a whole galaxy. Look at you, taking the role for yourself as savior of anything, when there's been plenty of those before who have said the same. And clearly, you haven't been able to put together either, that my roundtrips off this planet aren't just vacation days off."
It was beyond impossible, not to have snickered, upon seeing the smirk that played across the blonde's lips upon announcing what the girl believed, had been her figuring things out. There wasn't even a snowball's chance in hell at this point, that the girl could convince her that she was competent, or different in the kind of areas she valued in having a woman be in this kind of position of power. Not when she was just continuing to hear typical reasons.
That glimpse of her background had meant to appeal what, exactly? It explained her reasoning in coming to this planet, sure, but just as well painted the blonde into being the kind of hope four others had already established onto this planet. Then there was the whole belief that she was the misguided one. It was just so bad, she wasn't surprised at all to find her eye level had raised a couple of inches, a clear sign she had ascended into a Countess.
There was no doubt in her mind this girl truly didn't know her, beyond who served under her. This amount of belief, which still couldn't have possibly been where her confidence was coming from, was as unsatisfactory as letting that Namekian become Guru, when he had already lost the title to her.
She wiped her eye, which had become a crimson red, glowing with the intensity of a searing light, rather than a burning candle. Some snickering still had to be settled down, before she could continue on. Out of all the things she had expected from this meeting here, it hadn't been her own laughter.
"Truly, you've said more than enough, if your reasoning is so ignorant, I laughed myself into ascension. And this isn't even the peak of my power. If you wish to hold the title of anything, a jester would be more fitting, but outdated, as you couldn't be more wrong. Should I even need to mention your lack of charisma around this planet, is possibly the reason why you're so dependent on whatever little thing is giving you comfort and confidence?
I've already had to explain so much, and it's no secret seeing as how we both seem to have our own ideals, we'd want the last word, hm? Though you conceding wouldn't help paint your image into a better light, that hardly already shines beyond its delusions. As I've said, my trips off this planet aren't vacation days. They're meant to check up on business partners, and allies who during earth's evacuation, were allowed to use personal resources to meet with me, before I returned to this planet. Are you really so high on your confidence to believe that is someone concerned about fighting?
I know fully well there are other ways to win, which conditions in the first place, is based on one's perspective. Never have I had the issue of conceding to some battle for the opportunity of a deal, and safety of those I find under my protection. Because I'm aware there are those stronger, who I've already made allies out of, or are acquainted with. Brute force is for those who can't think, are desperate, and knows no other way. The idea that you could even mistake what is normally a youthful face, as correlation with that level of thinking, only continues to prove you admit more than necessary."
The way she had settled into her seat, her body having grown a couple of inches and filled out as expected for a 17 year old, was the kind of confidence that was deserved. In between the world blurring in and out from her innate lack of interest, the number of what she considered to be mistakes, whether trivial in the blonde's eyes or not, would no doubt only continue. The last word was just something she could keep up for a centennial.
She had her cousin to thank for that, and the slightest of those memories glimpsed through her mind, with the red-head never failing to glare in each one. As as Antediluvian now, she was right in the head enough to say she would truly miss the girl, when she winded up outliving the red-head as someone ageless.
"Oh, don't tell me your big secret and confidence, is some kind of mind control. If you still haven't managed to guess what I am, I'll say now it won't work. And from what I'm hearing, it sounds like you're trying to get an applause for both meeting one of the most common hybrids found on this planet and others, or at least what's left of their kind, as well as being able to suppress power."
Running into a Saiyan, out of all the races in the universe around, was hardly impressive. Even surprising someone with power level that was suppressed, by the sounds of what the blonde was trying to make out. Though it could have easily been something else just as well, if it was worth a mind trip.
A skill that while she possessed, it was a different variation of, specific to Vampires, and her right after becoming a Matriarch. Her voice, willing it so, could command those beneath her own standing in the hierarchy, and until her fellow kin had caught up to her, she wasn't sharing this ranking with anyone. The fangs that were normally retracted inside, were fully visible and elongated, since having ascended from amusement by the girl's reasoning.
"Fifteen. I've counted enough to know I have fifteen times more experience than you do, and while we can continue on to make it thirty, I've personally had more than enough of my fill, on just how typical you're coming across. Especially, as I remind again we clearly have different morals. Yes, I can take this title by force, but so can the Elemi I choose to be this earth's queen, or any of her friends to make a fitting king.
You go on about not having any guards here so proudly, having expected in the first place you'd see opposition, when anyone with experience and the kind of power you're making yourself out to have, would have simply moved in. Expenses aren't a thing to worry about, when you've actually done the work to establish business partners. Something from the glimpses I've heard of, you clearly lack, as hardships are also a key sign of experience.
You say like it's certain that the people of this planet gave you their blessing, when I have a handful of human allies that have already swore fealty to me, a reminder were on this planet during its evacuation, and had chosen to escort a few on their own without my prompting. That's not even counting the employees who were advised to stay in the underground bunkers of my corporation, having confidence in the Elemi and her friends would handle things.
And the most laughable thing of all, is believing I would pass on owning a planet. I could have my kin decimate the population, contact my business partners to fix up the remains of the area through magic, and Vampires would rightfully have their own planet. But really let's not fight. It's not what I came here for, and while I can continue to go on about more mistakes you can muster, like lashing out, I'd rather form a contract."
With how things had ended up, it was inevitable to find herself ascending further, the difference beyond the power, being the intensity of her glowing eyes. Like a burning flame, these eyes didn't fail to stare into the blonde's own, having stood up and leaned over with her hands on the desk, until she had gone and cupped the side of the girl's face for the slightest of moments. Her hand went back on the desk, as she continued with a proposal.
"I'll have my employees check for any loopholes, but it's basically a restraining order against you and anyone who might serve you in the future, to stay away from the various properties I own, and anyone who I consider to be my protection. That includes Capsule Corp as its CEO, and of course I expect consideration in the form of a sip of your blood, as proof of your agreement. We could otherwise be here all day, as I've said, no one is leaving this room without my satisfaction. And do keep in mind, I'm asking this, as you've already admitted I could take what I wish by force.
Not to mention I've provided an opportunity of displaying humility, if you really must get off on winning something."
This could easily be number seventeen in mistakes, and the most disgust she could ever have, of allowing someone a role.
East City.
That woman had said this place was ripe for destruction. Though it was only one of many things she had whispered and made light of. For someone who looked so human to give her a better means to wipe off the filth of this planet for Makai, she was still too disgusted to use the power that didn't belong to her.
It was foolish in the first place that she had even been interested. Tempted by what the woman had, that she currently lacked. Power was meant to be her own, if not gifted by a better demon. A technique like that, while would have made it easy to wipe out those in this city all at once, was unnecessary.
Why take them out in a hurry when she could be around to enjoy their screams? See them suffer like the stepping stones they were, for demons like her to carve their way to power. She didn't have the orders not to do things her way. No one around could stop her either. No one was supposed to be around.
Even walking around now, she couldn't feel anyone who could have challenged her power. The buildings around also already had cracks here and there, doors being opened, as if the city was completely abandoned. Though she saw enough Majins, and even some of that woman's kind, to know that hadn't been true.
It had been her instinct, to use Severance and attack them. Not even a sample of her true power as a Demonic Queen. The Majins had died the way she knew them to live, unaware of the world they were living in, beyond their own instincts and what they were told by others. The woman's kind, was more different.
She had tried to use Waver on those of the woman's kind she had seen creeping out, their faces as disgusting as could come, unlike what she had seen with the woman, but found herself unable to move. Those under protection. Somewhere in her mind, the words of that woman had echoed, as a reminder.
She considered all of them, even those as ugly as these ones, to be under her protection. If she broke that, the woman would know, wouldn't she? Their scent would be on her, and she had seen the woman earlier, walking with a Majin. If she was chased after, like when they had met, it would just-
Both of her blades had struck against the metal of one building that was still standing, easily leaving a dent into the thing, and causing the annoyance of creaking. She pulled her blades away from the thing with a grunt, her maws rising from the movement, revealing the teeth that hid underneath.
Attack the city, not those under that one's protection. Repeating those words silently to herself, her blades had glowed, wisps of black appearing around, as she held the weapons in a way she could properly use them. With enough power, the city would fall in just one swing, and bodies would fly around.
Then she would hunt the survivors.

The more this person spoke, the more clear things became to Holly. This individual was appallingly arrogant. Was it inevitable that beings that acquired a large amount of power turned out like this? Still, Holly was going to remain civil throughout the conversion. She wasn’t going to let this individual get under her skin.
“I call it a beacon, although that isn’t entirely accurate. It serves the function that a beacon would though. Regarding how confident I am, I assure you that I have every right to be so. Perhaps if you stick around long enough you’ll see why.”
The alien next to the strong person finally spoke out, mentioning the name of an associate of theirs. Holly turned her gaze to look at the pink individual. Holly did not recognize the name she mentioned. Not that it mattered right now. The creature was busy doodling something. Holly would look into this Saeko later. Right now it was more important to focus on the things going on right now.
The stronger of the two meanwhile continued to go into great detail as to why she thought Holly was unfit to rule. If Holly was bothered by all of this, then she was doing a very good job at hiding it. She leaned back in her chair, sitting up straight as she answered the current issues this person had.
“I’m not so naive to think I'm the only one capable of sensing energy at long distances. No am I naive enough to believe that you were going off world just for fun. You're clearly trying to spread your influence to other planets. Although I'd you really want to be Queen of the Earth, then this planets wellbeing should be your first concern. Tell me, is forming off world alliances more important than defending the Earth? You could have made a difference during the recent attacks.”
As the conversation continued, the young looking girl began to change. She now took the appearance of a 17 year old, and her power had risen as well. The most striking change was her eyes. They were now blood red, and burned with an intense power. Even if she couldn’t sense energy, she could tell just from their eyes that they were strong willed and powerful.
Then she began to snicker at her, which wiped the smirk off of Holly’s face. She was absolutely livid, as she was not used to being ridiculed like this. Granted, it wasn't that surprising in hindsight. Holly’s tone shifted, speaking to this person in a less polite dialect.
“You say that I revealed too much to you. I told you my name and a little bit about myself as a courtesy. I courtesy that you did not return. Yet you don't know anything other than what I told you. The information I gave you about myself won't tell you anything.”
One could feel the anger seething from Holly’s voice. Despite how calm she sounded, it was clear that she did not like getting mocked. Gone were the polite mannerisms. While she was still being formal, it was clear that things had become tense.
When she suggested that Holly was confident, Holly scoffed at the notion. Not to mention it was yet another way that this person was putting herself above her. She really wanted to emphasize that there was nothing that Holly could do in this situation.
“You’re completely missing the point of telling you about my encounter with that Saiyan. How strong he doesn't matter. The takeaway here is that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, which I'd exactly what you’ve been doing the moment you stepped into this room.”
Once again, this person went on and on about About her strength and the strength of other people stronger than the blonde Magi. Her resources and her own accomplishments were a big talking point as well. This person truly was insufferable.
When she got on the desk and touched her cheek, Holly noticeably stiffened. Although she didn't react more strongly than that. When this person finally stopped speaking, Holly began her rebuttal.
“For someone who wants me to only speak when prompted, you love hearing the sound of your own voice. Demeaning me at every turn has gotten old already. I’ll say it again: you’re the naive one here. I have no need any type of mind control. I can make people do as I wish without it. Like I’ve just done with you.”
Holly’s more confident side started to show itself again. This time it was accompanied by her anger towards the vampire. Holly was done being polite to this person. Someone who wouldn’t even tell her what her name was didn't deserve it.
“It was both easier and harder than I expected for it to be. I’ll admit that it took considerable effort not to lash out at you. I don't normally lose my temper like that, so it's actually rather impressive on your part. Although it really didn't take much prodding to make you sing like a bird.”
Then in a bizarre twist, Holly closed her eyes and giggled. Despite the two stronger people being right in front of her, she wasn’t paying them any.mind. Holly reached up with one hand, covering her mouth to stifle her giggles. Once she calmed down, she lowered her hand and opened her eyes to interact with the vampire again.
“I’m just as confused as you likely are right now. I never thought I could be this amused while having such seething hatred of you. But it really is funny. No one can sense more than 10 thousand when they gauge how strong I am. People show you who they really are then they’re in a position of dominance.”
Holly moved her hands onto the desk, looking st the vampire with… amusement? Anger? It was hard to tell. Holly appeared to be in a good mood, but there was no mistake the seething contempt glowing in her green eyes.
“That Saiyan turned out to mean well. He was worried about rny well being because he thought I was too weak to handle yourself. You on the other hand do not have my best interests at heart, to put it mildly. Your soul is truly black. Although I honestly have no right to look down at you for that, all things considered.”
Holly gave the Vampire a cold grin. There was barely anything in it that smile should have. It lacked any joy or amusement of any kind.
“I learned all that I needed to know about you. I know how ambitious you are, and that you have the strength and ruthlessness to fulfill them. The fact that you’ve made alliances offworld, the people you have connections with, you’ve gone into detail on those too. But that’s not all you’ve told me.”
Holly was still shocked by how easy it all had been. This vampire had a sharp wit about her, so she assumed that she would have to work to get the answers she wanted out of her. The vampire had given in to her pride though, and gave her valuable information as a result.
“Now I know that Capsule Corp is under your control. So the official CEO us just a facade then. Well with how young you looked earlier, it makes sense that you’d control things from the shadows. It’s a pity though: I was planning on using Capsule Corp to help cover the damage inflicted to the planet. But since you're the one in charge, that isn't going to happen.”
Holly leaned back on her chair, her hands sliding down to the armrests. The grin faded from Holly’s face. Her aura of confidence did not though.
“You’re not the only one who's disappointed right now. Considering how strong and smart you are, I thought you might be different. But you're just like all the rest. Despite having a pair of magnificent eyes, you too are blind to the truth. Like with my power level, all everyone ever sees is just the surface. I know you very well now, but you can't see all of who I am.”
Then suddenly the move shifted a little bit. Holly appeared to be in a bit of a better mood. At Rukia’s request, Holly leaned forward so that she was within reach of the vampire.
“I don’t seem to have much choice in the matter do I? I’ll agree to your terms. You can look for all the loopholes you want, but I too take politics and business seriously. You want your fill of blood, right? I suppose this means I’ll have to drink all that tea myself. You're probably not going to be very thirsty after this.”
Holly reached up with one finger and pulled back the collar of her dress, exposing her neck to the vampire. Suddenly Holly felt an energy spike outside. Holly had noticed this beings energy signature before, but she didn't expect it to be this bold and attack the city. “That’s another one of your underlings, isn’t it? Otherwise something of that strength wouldn't make that kind of move with you in the area. The fool is already dead and doesn't even know it. The major powers on this planet won't take kindly to someone trying to destroy a city. They wouldn't take kindly to Rinako’s successor being murdered either. That's my insurance.”
Holly was confident that she would make it out of this alive. She returned to Earth knowing how well defended it was, and came back alone so that no one could gain leverage over her. Holly wouldn't halve been surprised if the vampire had tried using her subjects against her.
“I would go out and distract that being out there, but I can't leave this room without your permission. Go ahead and drink your fill. Maybe it will make up for a disappointing encounter”
Despite being insulted, ridiculed, and looked down upon by a stronger being with her, Holy felt like she was the one with the advantage right now. This vampire strong, but nowhere close to the powers that resided on Earth. The Magi truly believed that Rukia wouldn’t kill her, even though she was putting herself in a vulnerable position. Her fate was now in the hands of someone who probably despised her at this point.

Back in Makai - in Morto’s Mansion one could hear the low, harsh tones of Heizen’s voice as he briefed his soldiers on their reconnaissance mission, a mission that had been long overdue. The Demon General standing on his throne looking down at the kneeling two with glowing red eyes, their black slits dilated with a harsh weight to them.
“Your mission is rather simple. During the Attack on Saiya - the Saiyans planted the Tree of Might on Earth. I want you to survey the damage discreetly. Try to avoid any fighting and try not to have your cover blown. You will both be out of Makai for a month with no way to return home, so you need to be careful.
Especially you, Delphi,”
Heizen ordered sternly to his two Lieutenants.
He was curious on the situation of the blue gem, and he hadn’t an Agent on Earth to report to him like he did with Laezi and Namek. He had been far too busy rebuilding Makai and assembling their armies for the next big war that was brewing in Universe Seven. Thus he could only trust his two best agents to survey the situation. He singled out Delphi in the report due to her Heran nature. She would want to murder and pillage if she got too excited, and thus needed Seid to rein her impulses in. Her impulses had their… charms, but he refused to let her compromise the mission.
The two nodded and made their way to Earth immediately, creating a pair of portals allowing them to cross the rift between the Demon realm and the Mortal Realm. Seid was using his suppression form in order to blend in with the Earthling’s. Looking like a fair skinned human with red eyes and black hair to his neck… he donned a black jacket with a grey outline over a white shirt and loose black pants; normal sneakers to cover his feet. By all appearances it would be difficult to suspect that he was a Demon, and without transforming he wasn’t emitting enough Demon energy to blow his cover.
Delphi on the other hand stood out a little more. A blue-skinned woman with red eyes and light red hair - one could definitely tell she was not an Earthling. Thankfully for her however - her energy and appearance matched those of the Heran race as opposed to the Demons. As long as she refrained from transforming - it would be difficult for one to discern her lineage and alliance. She wore a zipped up, dark blue sleeveless uniform, black shorts complete with similar colored leggings that went up to her thighs, and black shoes. She looked alien, but her cute appearance would hopefully ease the suspicions of any gazes.
As the two made their way through their own Demon portals and arrived on the Planet - they quickly noticed the strange energy on the planet. Delphi quickly sensed the immense power level in East City! Close to their location... it’s Demon Nature made clear by the negative energy coursing through it. “My Lord… there’s a Demon already here on Earth… I don’t recognize this Ki Signature…,” Delphi reported to him immediately, trying to inquire as to what they were to do next. Delphi was weaker than Seid, but she had important skills that he did not which were crucial for relaying back to Heizen for the purposes of this mission.
Growling on his throne in Makai… he murmured to himself. A Demon unaccounted for? “How strong is it, Delphi?” he inquired, hoping to gain some more background information on the situation. If the Demon was strong then someone was going rogue and acting of their own accord. “Definitely stronger than the average… but currently not a threat to Seid at least… I don’t know if it’s at full strength however,” she said passively, coldly as she objectively surveyed the situation. She was listening to his advice and controlling her urges as she normally did. He growled to himself. It was aggravating that they weren’t able to keep track of all the Demons. “Very well… if that is the case… then stay back for now. Make contact with it via telepathy and try to find out what its intentions on Earth are. I sincerely doubt Nakiya ordered them there.
Don’t be idiots however.. If it grows hostile, then get out of there. You’re not good to me dead...” he explained to her, hoping that his orders were well-received. That was the most help he could give for now. It would seem that Heizen was going to have to remain available. If things got really bad, he would enter the fray and help protect them. He couldn’t afford to lose them. Not after investing so much time and effort into those soldiers. If anyone dared to lay a finger on them - they would pay for it with their lives.
“Stay put, Seid. I’m communicating with one of our kind… seems we’re not the only Demons on this planet…,” she informed Seid discreetly.
“Hello there, my fellow traveler. Has Queen Nakiya ordered you here to attack these Earthlings?” Delphi would ask telepathically as she breached right into the Demon Queen’s mind, from the skies near Central City. The two of them stayed in place, Seid awaiting for Delphi’s instructions from Heizen. “We were sent to this planet by the Demon Lord Heizen to investigate, and now we’ve discovered you here.
If you’re acting of your own accord: we need you to return to Makai by the will of the Queen, as soon as possible. War is coming to Makai soon, and so the Demon Lords (and their bannermen) are all gathering to prepare to defend Makai from a potential invasion of the mongrels known as the Saiyans.” Delphi would inform the Demon Queen as she reaped havoc on the planet. She would then wait for a transmission back from the Demon. She hoped that the Demon was not foolish enough to pick a fight with them.
“Well?” Seid asked with a cocky smirk. Delphi - looking as passive as ever - stared at him blankly. “We’ll see soon. For now just hang back, Seid. Heizen wants us to be careful… and more importantly…I sense a power far stronger than this Demon…-..... A power that terrifies me….” she shivered with a cold shuddering. The power was definitely not one she wanted to tangle with, both in nature and in quantity. Even her Lord… was powerless before this power. And that was something truly impressive, unfortunately for them…

No matter how she looked at it, beacons were too backwards to rely on.
They might have had their uses, and it might even be argued doing so to bring a party there, rather than vice versa, was a smarter way to way to go. Safe, even. But whether it was acting as a beacon of power itself, or simply setting one up, the means of either still displayed dependency on others.
For someone like this blonde trying to preach leadership qualities, it was far from being an example that would help. Both ways still involved waiting on the other party to show up, when if they truly had any worth, they would merely send minions to care for the little things, if they weren't bored.
"Serves the same function in that you're expecting, and clearly still forming a process rather than action. It doesn't take long for a threat to blow up a planet in one shot."
She had yet to really use her best technique herself, but the power that she could put into it, given the time, could wipe off the life of a planet in one go. In the instance of relying on a beacon to be used, that was exactly what would happen, expecting action from someone who could do it from their land.
What mistakes that were being made, it didn't really matter how the girl tried to counter it. There could be a written thesis trying to justify what she had personally saw as a phase, but it wasn't going to change anything. The blonde had the kind of resolve in the wrong reasons, from what she had already seen.
"Yet you still bring it up as if it's supposed to be impressionable or a qualification, rather than just painting a picture that was unprompted and common."
The blond could have easily been lying through her teeth about knowing what should have been obvious, though it wasn't in her benefit to really push it either. What mattered was that the girl had list it off, as if it was going to stump her from coming up with a counter, and no doubt would later bring up justification for that just as well. The idea of also not going off to form an alliance, if it could be done, wasn't the brightest thing either.
The planet and its inhabitants saw many arriving here illegally, from different planets, and in need of resources. To not take advantage of that and make something profitable from it, or accumulate favors to be returned, only said to her the blonde believed in a self-sustaining planet and isolation.
"The planet is universally called dirt by other life, and has seen attacks longer than our own existence. I'm sure it can survive one battle, timelessly being defended by the Elemi and her friends. You act as if infrastructure can't recover, like it's currently doing, blatantly ignoring no planet is completely self-sustaining, and that an isolationist viewpoint is highly outdated. Especially if planets are being attacked as you say. Makes me question if you even realize small businesses even exist in the first place, because Capsule Corp allows there to be an oligopoly."
Scrambling around to defend what's left, would practically be what the blonde was suggesting, without some kind of business or trade. Did she really even need to bring up how that mentality of hers, was halting further advancement in technology, by not having scientists view the culture of others?
The girl's words also sounded as if she was leading the way to being envy of power, and how if the blonde had what she did, she would do things differently. But that was also just stating the obvious, knowing people had different approaches, and that there was always going to be someone who thought they could do better. For it to be otherwise, only meant whatever utopia had been formed, was merely the only thing that society had ever known, which was simplistic.
"A courtesy that I had decided you weren't deserving of. And on the contrary, you couldn't continue to be more wrong. You admitted firsthand you were expecting, suggesting you think yourself as important, and actually have value beyond the opportunity that came with this planet's latest biggest attack. Going so far as to even believe you could capture more than two who were just passing by, or that a group of power would show up all at once in the first place, for something like politics. You having heard of the Elemi, but never meeting her, shows that even with all this talk about leadership, you've chosen not pursue and foster a relationship with someone better. Knowing the role you're trying to claim in the first place, you're only making such a chance difficult. Acknowledgment of my resources and your apparent lack of, if any, not being in reach, shows you're likely to be bait for exchange.
The revelation of your ki sensing, provides at best an epiphany of the age you believe you could make a difference. Realization of the planets being attacked, but not having an opportunity to do anything, shows what you call a drive. And your laughable assumption I work on brute force, displays your ignorance on assuming a lack of experience, from someone comfortable enough to not have requested an audience, in any usual situation. No, I'm right about hearing enough on what your type is, seeing as how I was correct you can't simply accept giving the other person the last word, if your tone is any indication."
She hadn't done so before when she was set on counting the blonde's mistakes, but she did so now, in visibly lifting each finger, as she listed what she could infer from what had already been said. It wasn't difficult either. The likelihood of the girl doing one thing, only increased when patterns became obvious. That was the point of observational studies in the first place, or having a control and testing group. Only the hypothesis here, is the girl not giving in. The change in tone was likely unnoticeable by the Majin besides her, but the blonde's manner of speaking was pretty obvious to her.
There was a difference in someone who came from wealth, and dressed as such, compared to someone like her who gained it, and figured things out enough to dress her age. Formal was hardly anything this discussion here was an occasion of, especially when this office had barely been vacant long enough.
"Your point is juvenile, and ignores the fact that Saiyan, whether he was a hybrid or not, are proven to be stubborn. They're hardly anyone that should be used as an example for a concept that basic. And no, even if you had a power of a million according to scouters, it still wouldn't be of value in my eyes, with that kind of mentality."
The blonde continue to get subtly upset however she wished to. Even continue to throw accusations she was going to be able to have a say for anyway, regardless of the number of counters she had already given, to prove otherwise. The idea that the girl also seemed to keep playing at, on how she was holding back power by the sound of things, also didn't matter as much as she kept trying to press, knowing respect was based on one's own perception.
That moment where she even cupped the girl's cheek, wasn't helping paint the girl in a brighter light either. Surely, she should have expected with her current power being next to her best, something that demeaning would have happened. It should have ended the argument just as well, but that would have been her expecting too much, wouldn't it? The last word was just something already preconceived to have more value to their types, than anything else.
"It seems you're still too deaf, and still believe you're too precocious as well, to reflect upon your own words. I've already established I'm more than willing to keep up with anything and everything you could say."
There was also the whole acknowledgment she had already gave, that neither of them were willing to let the other, do better. A belief that rather than even be dismissed, only continued to prove that it would continue on. Her offer of stopping would come in play and pause again, when the girl did or didn't.
With how the blonde seemed to regain confidence, and all apparently over her only half guessing what this big secret of the girl was, that didn't seem at all as if it was going to be happening just yet. The girl had basically decided she had won at the moment, when she was already late in doing so.
"And yet you verbally already did, avoiding the physical confrontation you most certainly know would have you falling on your face. You truly are a piece of work, if you're willing to allow your ignorance to remain, or really, anyone in general. Though it would make sense for you to rule over mumbling imbeciles as uncultured as you're trying to impose onto others."
The own giggle that had came from the blonde, was also another thing the girl was already late in doing, and while she wouldn't label her own ideas as original, the blonde was merely acting like a parrot with the returned exchange. There was no doubt it would likely also lead to this big secret.
"If that's where your comfort stems from, then you really take pride in the mundane and underwhelming. No viable threat would hardly care about your lack of action, as an advantage. They'd toss you around like a twig before considering the fact in conversation, after your death is done."
Another unsurprising thing to have come out of this meeting, was to be called evil, not to mention show how ignorant the girl was about Vampires, if she didn't realize they were made of blood magic. Of course there was going to be darkness in them. This was just more preconceived beliefs she was hearing.
"So says you and everyone else ignorant about Vampires. If you really believe being ageless can come from something holy, you only continue to show your delusions."
The cold grin that came from the blonde, and the words that followed after, had said as much. Another late analysis of what she had already established of the girl herself. It continued to likely play into whatever delusions the blonde had also came up with, that she had some kind of leverage over her.
"And you couldn't possibly stop stating the obvious and showing your ignorance in the areas of politics that matter, if you can't swallow your pride and delusions to recover a damaged city. Better yet is continuing to believe you have any leverage at all, when even something like making use of a whistleblower, would do nothing but tarnish your idea of politics, for the businesses Capsule Corp already has under its wraps."
Labeling her to be typical, despite what was already established about the blonde in fifteen different instances being so herself, or even the idea of believing that she was original, was quite persistent in displaying how deranged the girl just was. Which as someone who had once clawed out throats as a fledgling, was saying a lot. It also continued to serve as an initiative serving to tempt her into praying to that man as a god, since he was just so willing to influence in ways that deities weren't supposed to. The kind of things he could do with his reality marble would break the blonde.
"You only prove to continue establishing what you're too late to do, and using such a politically incorrect term like original."
An improvement on old concepts would have been more accurate, though with how the blonde only just kept believing she had won, even while lacking the credibility to have a right in feeling that way, that was just another thing that would have been ignored. Was the rest of her kind, whatever it was, like this? The girl not being entirely an earthling was pretty obvious, knowing how many failed to reach past 600, and the whole hidden power level thing.
"More ignorance on inhabitants you're supposed to rule."
At this point, it didn't matter to her that the blonde had agreed to the terms. It was beyond an annoyance the things she had heard since getting here, and even while the blonde's voice continued to be muffled, not having said an interesting thing since imposing the idea of her leadership tactics, she still understood enough to know she couldn't actually make time pass quick enough. She hadn't hesitated at all in sinking her teeth into the blonde's neck, though hardly more than a few seconds, as she had done back on Namek. Being of blood magic in the first place, the bite wasn't going to easily disappear.
More than enough proof in the case that the girl went back on her word. The taste of the blood itself, could hardly be satisfying in these kind of conditions, but she could tell by its duration, it was slightly higher than Ryuteki's had been. So the blonde wasn't completely just full of it.
"Implying there aren't creatures who don't care about their own lives."
"What about my parents?"
She might have played the devil's advocate with the demon, but to say they were more than acquainted was ridiculous. She merely gave it the means to do what it wished, and by the feel of things, she doubted it was actually using her best technique. Other signatures luckily appearing alongside within the area, at least gave reason to make it easier on her to care even less. The tiny pat on her body, and the young voice, had made it obvious it was the Majin.
"You speak as if I don't know at least one of them either, and still making it obvious you're more important than you think. I'll be heading to the Majin's house to escort her parents, if you wish to show off even more, I could care less."
The idea of even continuing to need permission in the first place, when she had already got what she had wanted, was an example on the girl not being able to read the room. If she really wanted to go on about protection and leadership, then she could go ahead and do just that, like how she just continued to be ignorant on the idea of winning, or refusing to repair a city based on seething rage. She picked up the Majin, the world blurring as she moved past it.
Moving the Majin to a position where she was able to, she had took out her phone, texting her cousin about getting those at Capsule Corp to draft up a contract. There was a string of code and letters to give them to know what kind, though she still wanted them to hear her perspective in person.
"Your parents will be fine. The city, less likely."
She could only hope that demon would fulfill its innate nature, anyway.
The amount of power that was surging from her blades.
She could feel its energy drawing in all the untapped griefs of the old, only helping to fuel the strength she would unleash. The city would wind up collapsing into itself in just one simultaneous swing, and she would start the hunt for any survivors. Their cries would help aid in her salvation, as she waited for the chance to open up her own portal back to Makai, in coming around. It wouldn't be long, and she could catch up on the things she missed.
The kind of destruction that they were just meant to partake in, she found didn't see the kind of light she wished to see. There was agony in having to wait in such a thing, witnessing so many faces of filth, that wouldn't take more than a swing to be rid of. An annoyance she was allowed to exhaust now.
There was the slightest of twitches in her arms, as the invisible weight of what she was carrying from gathering power that wasn't even her best, started to test her own strength. Fight back, yes. Allow her to show she didn't require being in her other forms, to not collapse under what she was building herself.
It was the familiar signature of that woman, that caused her head to slightly twitch, the power within her blades still building up, but she had been more alert than she would have been. What she felt was only getting closer and closer, the urge in wishing to swing at the woman, she had refrained from doing.
There was no enjoyment in doing so, like fighting against her own blades, and it was only the woman breezing by her, that stopped the trickles of sweat she could feel pouring from her body. So the woman hadn't meant to be after her then. She would have just gotten shoved like nothing, if that had been true.
Her focus couldn't completely settle back onto what she was meaning to do however, as a voice she was unfamiliar with, communicated with her telepathically. The presence made it clear it was one of her own, from the two names no demon wouldn't have been able to not know of. Anger seethed within her.
Of course this had to have happened. Her hesitation earlier, allowed their arrival. If it wasn't for her own concern for what that woman would have done to her, this city would have already been under. Now she had one of her own close enough to Lord Heizen, for her own favor to possibly ruined with the queen.
"She has not. I haven't been back to Makai since the box Demon Lords stormed the castle. Each trip here to the mortal realm, the cycles until my own portal opens, only seems to grow longer."
The Saiyans. That was a name of those she had been forced to be too familiar with, in part of her time here. The woman had said they were nearing extinction. Though she knew not to doubt any demon who found themselves favorable to such names. What info they seemed to lack, would be a leverage.
"The cycle that'll allow my arrival will be near enough. Those Saiyans you speak of, I have gathered during my time here, that they're near non existence. The few that are left however, several surpass even the Makaioshin."
This was still in accordance to what she had been told by the woman, who had met such Saiyans, among other things. Not many had value to her, or will unless the matter had came up. But she knew enough of importance on what should be targeted, should she be alone again, on another trip to the mortal realm.
"Will you allow me to continue with collapsing the city? The energy here appears almost nonexistent, but there is a celebration of sorts happening near, which this city's fall could ruin."
She was nearing the point of having one swing being this place's destruction, and only needed the word to do it.

The vampire talked about how her use of communication wasn't that unique and wasn’t anything that would qualify her for the position of Queen. This person was being critical of literally everything she said. At this point Holly firmly believed that this person had made up her mind about how she viewed her before she even walked into the room. Every exchange was going to involve the vampire Demeaning her at every turn. She wasn’t going to take any of it lying down.
“Communication is a tool, like most things are. The effectiveness of a tool is determined by two factors. How versatile it is, and how well it's used. You’d be surprised as to what you can do if you use communication properly. I would say that it's rather obvious, but you strike me as someone who wouldn’t know what to do with it even with people with similar abilities to mine on your side.”
Holly just stared at the vampire perplexity when she started bringing up… infrastructure and the economy. Of all the things Holly expected to be brought up, this was last thing she expected to have to talk about. Holly cleared her throat before diving into a rather… interesting subject matter.
“First of all, this has been the most devastating attack that Earth has suffered. Not only are the casualties high, but a large portion of our planet has been left uninhabitable. The main priority is to restore as much as possible and eventually get as many people back on Earth as possible. Considering the north is uninhabitable, calculations will be made to determine if we have enough hospitable land to bring people back to.”
Holly seriously couldn't believe that she was even having this debate. Earth was all but barren at this point, and this vampire was harping on her for not taking the intergalactic market into account of things.
“Secondly and more important, certain issues require immediate attention compared to other ones. I am aware that the intergalactic market exists, but as Queen of Earth my primary focus is always going to br Earth and its inhabitants. I don’t know what kind of fantasy world you live in. Maybe you’ve managed to create a local economy in West City with your resources. As for everywhere else, the stock market trends to crash when entire regions and cities are destroyed.”
This all felt like a surreal dream right now. She was sitting at a table in an practically empty city, debating business economics and the intergalactic market with a vampire accompanied by a strange alien that looked like a humanoid piece of bubblegum. How did she even end up in this bizarre scenario?
The conversation moved on yet again. This vampire was determined to prove in every single way how she thought Holly was unfit for the position. This was a very fast paced debate that the Magi had to put everything into in order to properly engage in it.
“This one subject you keep coming up is how you clearly think I am unfit to have the throne and that I believe myself to be more important then I actually. Lets put all that to the side for now, since we're going to be here all day if we keep looping back to it. As for why I haven’t contacted the Elemi yet, it would only be effective from a position of strength. A conversation before this point would have been meaningless.”
Holly gave the Vampire another smirk. While most of what she had just said was just yet another scathing comment on her supposed failures, there was one part of what she said that amused her.
“You telling me that I must have the last word in things is a case of the pot calling the kettle black. You don’t strike me as a humble individual. The fact that you're going to so much effort to emphasize how unqualified I am in your eyes tells me that you have to have the last word in things. You want to make sure there's no way I can come back from everything you’ve thrown at me. You aren't wrong, but you aren't in a position to look down on me for it.”
Now the vampire was counting off her fingers while talking to her, as though she was explaining something to a small child. This person was yet another powerful being completely looking down on someone weaker then them. Holly could not stand it in the slightest: she would remember this individual.
Holly eyes widened when the vampire brought up the scouter reading. Holly’s face paled as she realized this vampire was more then just strong. This time, Holly was too shocked to have a rebuttal for the vampire.
<There’s no way she should have been able to make an estimate that accurate! I didn't even tell her the exact number. so how did she know that my power level is around that level of strength?>
Holly had thought that while this person was strong and smart, that she was more intelligent then the Vampire by a fair margin. Holly had completely underestimated this person though: they knew what they were talking about. Holly bounced back as quickly as she could, trying to shrug it off like it was nothing.
“However did you come up with one million? Earlier you said that I was weaker then the previous Queen. Your memory appears to be as impared as your hearing is. I told you before, the Saiyan himself doesn't matter. I was simply using that story to highlight a particular moral. Honestly I’m a bit worried for your health: your body and mind appear to be deteriorating rapidly.”
Yet more and more insults were thrown her way. Christ, how many things could this Vampire come up with? Holly was very stubborn and didn't want to admit that she had been outplayed earlier. At the very least she wanted to end this discussion from an equal standing to the Vampire.
“Well if nothing else, I have a name I can call you now. “Pot” is a fitting name for you, given the level of hypocrisy you’ve displayed today. Unless you care to give me your real name, I’ll refer to you as such. You're quite the piece of work yourself, eyeing this position while calling your potential subjects imbeciles.”
Perhaps if she gave her an annoying nickname, she would get the Vampire to cough up her name. The Magi hated that she didn't even know that about this person. If she wasn’t going to get any respect, then disrespect was all that she’d give out.
“As for not fighting, such uncouth displays of strength are below me. I only fight when I must. Your emphasis on strength assumes that I’ll even get into a position where I’ll have to fight. I told you before, people move how I wish for them to move.”
Honestly there wasn't that much more she could really say. Things had really just devolved into them throwing direct insults at one another. Not to mention the Vampire-s voice was getting grating on her ears. She figured she was in a good enough position just to end their conversation.
The Vampire sucked her blood for a surprisingly short amount of time. The Magi only felt a little bit of a prick as the fangs sunk into her skin. When it was over, Holly reached into a pocket of her dress. She pulled out a handkerchief, pressing it against the wound and realigning the collar of the dress so that it wouldn’t be noticeable. Holly didn’t object to Rukia leaving. In fact, it's what she wanted to happen.
“I believe that covers everything then. You don’t have to worry about the paperwork. Words alone won't get to you, so I’ll have my actions speak for me. I can't say I’m looking forward to it, but we’ll probably meet again, pot.”
Holly waited until she was out of sight before gritting her teeth. That had been the most humuliating experience she had ever been through. She had lost her composure more then a couple of times. She stormed out of the office, heading outside. Unfortunately for that demon, she was a very foul mood.
Holly stormed through the abandoned city, noting that some of the buildings had been turned into rubble. This being had been busy. Although it was not alone. Two similar signatures had showed up further out. If they made a move, things would get dicy.
Holly stopped once the largest source of ki came into view. This creature had a very… unique appearance, to say the least. It was priming up an energy attack in order to blast apart the city. Holly narrowed her eyes at the creature, telepathically speaking to all 3 demons.
<As the Queen of Earth, I order you all to cease and disiss with your actions! I will not let run rampant and do whatever you please!>
Holly held out her hand, a purple aura surrounding her as a blue magic circle appeared in the air. Despite her attack charging, no one would be able to sense a change in her power level. Holly was counting on that to give her the edge against her potential opponents.

This was not the most ideal of situations, not by any means! Delphi sighed to herself as this mission went off the rails before it even officially begun. The Blue Skinned Heran focusing intently as she tried to make sense of the chaos happening over in the city yonder. Two powers were just… standing around. One was really small, whilst the other was enormous. Aside from the Queen herself.. It was the strongest power level Delphi had ever sensed. A true monster lay at that energy. Truly it triggered Delphi’s impulses from her Heran blood, but she tried her hardest to keep that under control. She knew if she let herself get drawn to it, she would die trying to engage it without a second thought. “There is a time, there is a place for this sort of thing… I have to be vigilant…,” she told herself calmly. While troubling - the Demon itself didn’t currently pose much of a problem. If Delphi powered up to her full potential and Seid remained as he was… they could probably defeat the Demon in a two-on-one. But that was making the assumption that the Demon wasn’t suppressing its power in the same manner that both of them were. And the thought of that worried Delphi once again.
Seid on the other hand was much more eager for the battle. Having gone under Heizen’s wing in the hopes of becoming a Demon Lord himself - the Shadow Demon felt nothing akin to fear. His power was just about on par with Demon Lord Fenos himself at the peak of his power. Though he wouldn’t go out of his way to pick a fight - he certainly wasn’t going to back down from one. He was not like Delphi. He had no way of gauging his opponent’s strengths, save for mid combat with them. Therefore for better or for worse the Shadow Demon was not one to tread carefully. He did not have the same level of combat awareness as she did - for he simply powered through most obstacles in his life. A fatal flaw to be sure. It was partially why he worked so closely with the Heran hybrid. She made up for the things that he lacked. He was also not tied down by such foolish bloodlust as she. When he fought it was not blinded by rage or impulses. He just fought off instinct and did what he could to kill his enemies. Alas… he waited for the Heran’s update to know whether or not he should be ready for battle…
Delphi meanwhile was in telepathic communication with the Demon ahead. Processing the Demon’s responses - she knew what to do. Re-establishing a link with her Lord - Delphi updated him on the situation to gauge his answer to her explanation. “It seems she has been on this side for some time. She claims her ability to portal has been… tinkered with in some manner, my lord. She has been on the Mortal Side since the Fall of Mortos,” she explained. That had happened months ago. To think that she had been here so long… Delphi could hardly believe it.
“Furthermore she seems to have received word of the Saiyan’s population problem. It is possible she does not realize that it was you and Nakiya who ensured their species near-extinction. Shall I inform her of recent events?” Heizen sighed, gripping his throne armrests with annoyed force. This story was hard to believe, but for now he would play along. Taking a nearby glass of wine - the Demon took a long, exaggerated sip as the drink ran through his body. His red-eyes staring in the distance with a solid stare. “Very Well, Delphi. I will accept her explanation for now. If she is lying, it’s a rather weak one. It’s weak enough that there might actually be some truth to it. Perhaps drinking the Cursed Water will help restore her portal abilities.
And yes. You can try to clue her in on what’s been going on….,” the Demon Lord expressed, not seeing a reason to withhold the information from her. Even Delphi did not know enough about the situation to give away any sensitive data to this Demon (should they be working against them). Though the Heran’s eyes were indeed pretty and her body rather well conditioned- the Jackal Demon did not yet trust her with such important details.
He awaited a further update, all the while drinking his wine to pass the time. It was annoying having to wait. It was still too early to decide whether or not his presence was needed…. “Very Well, Lord Heizen. I will convey the message..,” Delphi said rather calmly, her tone still maintaining that cold and apathetic tone to it. “We are aware of the Saiyans numbers and power, as it was Lord Heizen and Queen Nakiya who launched the campaign that weakened the Saiyans. However given recent events - the barrier between the Afterlife and the Living Realm is thin. King Nasu will likely soon return, and as such we are making preparations to defend Makai from a future invasion. One of which is imminent…,” she explained in full detail, to the best of her ability.
As far as the city went - Delphi did not need to consult with Heizen to know his answer. She would communicate on his behalf to spare him the annoyance of tedious back and forths. “Lord Heizen will likely forgive the destruction of the city, so long as you make no attempts to destroy the Planet itself. He has some desire for the Earth, and would be furious should anyone interfere with his future conquest.
I believe he intends to claim it after his war with the Saiyans has concluded. As such neither of us shall attempt to interfere with your affairs. He loathes the Earthlings and the Half-Saiyans of this planet with a fair amount of prejudice. If you destroy some buildings and even some of the mortals, it makes no difference to him..,” she once again began to communicate, bridging the two so that they could come to a clear understanding of their goals and desires. It was not their civilization or their technology that the Demon desired. Merely the land itself both for its atmosphere and for the worth it seemed to have on the galaxy. The center of heroism and self-righteousness. To stomp on such ideals and to take the planet for himself in his image - would be a pleasure that not even a horde of beautiful women could ever hope to compete with. The finest wines and foods would taste like sand by mere comparison.
Yes… that was who her Lord was.
“Might I also ask whose energy it is I sense near you… there’s a frightening power near you... She’s almost as strong as the Demon Queen herself..,” the Heran asked whilst acknowledging the presence, hoping that the Demon could shed some light onto who this player was. Whoever they were - they could certainly pose a threat to the Demons… or serve as a most appreciated ally. Delphi did not dare approach the creature’s mind, lest her telepathic transpondence anger her even slightly.
It was then however that things truly did not get much better for them. Noticed and called out by the weak power near the two giants - Delphi sighed to herself in complete annoyance. What a foolish creature they must be to verbally engage them so brazenly. While Delphi paid no mind… her friend would most certainly take the woman’s orders as a slight. “Sei-...” Delphi began to warn before being interrupted by the Shadow Demon’s impulsive flight towards the city. “You heard her, Delphi! I’m not waiting around anymore… that bitch does NOT order me around…,” he growled with an annoyed expression on his face. And so he flew straight towards the city.
“I’ve got a bad feeling about this….,” the Heran mused to herself, resting a hand on her forehead. Though she truly did enjoy the man’s company, he was sometimes a knuckleheaded idiot. “Well… it looks like you’ll be getting some help. My partner has been slighted by the foolish woman challenging you… and now he seems to be seeking some form of payback...,” she explained as she followed behind Seid (albeit keeping back at half his pace for good measure, as she was not interested in engaging in the fight herself).
Truly what a mess this mission was turning out to be.

Delphi continues using PT-2 Ki Sense and PT-1 Dimensional Telepathy to relay transpondence between herself, Heizen, and Tanariul.
Seid and Delphi are now heading towards East City and will arrive by their next turn. It should be noted however that Seid will be arriving before Delphi who is not flying at full speed to avoid getting directly involved.
No matter how much reasoning was presented to her, the girl just kept on trying to have the last word on things, and ignoring the obvious. The way she viewed it, it was only going to be the opinion of the Elemi and her friends, who often hung out in the tower near here, that was going to settle things.
At least, in the sense which mattered to the blonde. She might not have really wished to be categorized within the role of a villain, as so many people she had come across made her out to be, but she knew enough people who could get the job done for her. Which she was going to require discussing when the opportunity came for it. That demon who seemed to cower from the power she held, would be a good leeway into what she was searching for.
Especially if it could get another one of its kind to request an audience with its queen. That demon, from what the man had shown of her in his memories, and from her first encounter with him in the first place, seemed to have a similar taste in goals to her own. And hopefully, such a meeting wouldn't be as such an annoyance as this one. Though considering the woman's nature as a demon, it was difficult to really say. She had slept with him after all.
Even with what time she had since encountering that man, the one thing she still couldn't grasp is why the woman had fallen for him, in whatever twisted way their relationship was. The kind of perversions she had seen and felt, were more actions than reason. Though she supposed her standards were also too high.
"Like how it's obvious you continue to delude yourself into believing you're qualified to be giving any lessons? I guarantee if I had made a personal visit to the Elemi and her friends, I could get them to vouch for me over you. But I'm self-aware enough to know politics aren't also their forte, just as much as with you, if your temper and other beliefs are any indication."
Another lesson she didn't need to hear, and another concept that was even more basic, with the kind of confidence that even fledglings found themselves possessing after turning. Those of her kind who were well above the power of a fledgling, the kind of comfort they had were far above the average individual, for what darkness and doubt they had about themselves, could simply be locked away until they had the time or desire to deal with it.
Instinct was just on a whole different level just as well, being less primal than going into bloodfrenzy, but their lack of interest in humanity, and more for their kind would do that. What she hated is the concept of what interested them, like some of invisible visor, guarded away from previous interests.
"And there goes another concept you just feel the need to explain. The number of casualties and those who evacuated during the invasion, were already working on being accounted for, well before I even returned to the planet. You're even more primitive when it comes to using technology, than you've already made out, if you believe it can't be derived with a combination of algorithms, ki sensing, and previous data on attacks to this planet. Are you even aware what Androids and Bio-Androids are?"
Earth has had enough of a history with being attacked, for it to be ridiculous not to have existing reports they could make predictions from. It was also the job of a regular census in the first place. A much slower and preferred process, but it wasn't as if it needed to be rushed. It sounded like the blonde was forgetting her kind was still much of a secret society, which would be an unaccounted for population, unlike those who traveled to earth temporarily.
Not to mention she had already admitted even if earth was currently barren, beyond those who were in West City, which was practically her domain, it had only meant her own kin could come out without being shunned. No secret society would have to remain as such, if the population was small enough.
Just as well, she had enough allies from different backgrounds, to return to what planet she had found them from, for provisions. The back and forth trips to doing so, if a small population was to be believed, wouldn't even take that long either. Though it would certainly not help with gas emissions.
But that would also just help stimulate ideas, and sponsor normally unheard of talent, if they were good enough. That was the reason why Capsule Corp wasn't the only business around dominating and having control over all products. Other businesses were still allowed and allowed their way into the market.
"It goes without question you're underestimating Capsule Corp, like how so many aliens underestimate humans being able to adapt to invasions, seeing as how the business has been around for well over five hundred years. Even accounting for any bankruptcy within any of those, it's standing still remains strong enough to merely take over the other cities, as I have already said, but you just continue to ignore among other things.
We could easily become a Monopoly, and make use of the Elemi and their innate abilities being similar to the elements of the periodic table. You're the one living in a fantasy world you're protected by the favor of a dead kitsune, from what threats can easily continue coming to this planet."
Which reminded her of the restoration project that one Elemi, and her council, were supposed to still be working on. In general, she might not have cared about the population of earth enough, but if it were to be her own, taking advantage of such an alien race could deal with the growth needed to cultivate any ruined ground. Though she could have just as easily make use of the Namekian dragonballs, for a cause like this. Especially if this planet was hers.
If the blonde was really ignorant enough to ignore so many of the things that were being presented, it made her wonder what knowledge of species the girl even had. Beings like the Majin were nothing new to earth, and she was aware there were half Saiyans who even attended the local schools, being raised here.
The whole idea that anything was a fantasy, when possessing power like herself, and knowing someone who had literally obtain godhood, among others, really just continued to make the blonde come off more as someone babbling than anything else. She still wasn't hearing of any experiences beyond preaching concepts she already knew, back at her. Something which didn't say much at all, with the lack of credibility that the girl already had.
"Yet, I know it's a fact that people climb the tower near here all the time, where the Elemi resides, so your point is also meaningless if they're uncouth enough to go without an audience. I doubt they had any real power either, only testing themselves with climbing the thing."
From what memories she also had of the Elemi, thanks to that man, or from inferring alone, the woman couldn't have been the type to care for such things. She and her friends proclaimed themselves to be the savior of this planet, which only meant they had to have been reasonable people to be so.
The more the blonde only continued to smirk with some of the points she made, continuing to believe in the idea of winning, when it wasn't even a challenge at this point, the more she really wanted to personally meet the Elemi and her friends. The girl was going to take the title of queen, after all. And seeing as how they were the people who had the most say in her eyes, their opinion had worth excluding her innate lack of interest, from being an Antediluvian.
"Keep disregarding what was already established, because it's clear you don't listen, and that your idea of humility is niche. I'm not the one unwilling to work to repair infrastructure, over 'seething rage' here, nor have I said I didn't want the last word, seeing as how I've already said I could keep this up all day. Keep making already answered points and stating the obvious just as well, once again ignoring the concept of one's own perception, and the right that comes with power."
Another proud 'accomplishment' the blonde was implying she had, with their back and forth with things that had already been established earlier. Whether or not she had continued to done so herself, was only dependent on the girl's own responses, which she doubted would highly just end at any point soon.
One of the points of possessing the kind of power she had in the first place, was how it allowed to do what she wished. No normal civilian was going to challenge the air she exuded, when it wasn't unusual from the countless of times the earth had been attacked, even longer than she had even been born.
With how often her body had just zoned out since becoming a Matriarch, there had been a noticeable pause, as she had gone on about scouters, and the later quick defense that came with the number she had came up with. Something that was not only proof the girl hadn't seen battle against those with that kind of power herself, but continued ignorance, beyond the blonde also repeating something she had already said, and would continue to document to the girl.
"You're really just parroting at this point of things, or really exploring the concept of selective hearing. A million is the lowest number anyone of my power could face, and you must have had a sheltered upbringing, if you still believe a mere hundred thousand is notable, despite what you already seem to know about Saiyans. I'll take your sudden quick response from my perspective, as that being your true power, though you're already ignorant of how production of scouters exist here on the planet, with the number of Saiyans that have been dumped on here in the past."
Scouters were just as evidently something the earlier owners of Capsule Corp had first studied. Even if that knowledge had been lost on them, anyone who happened upon such technology, or a scientist that did, would have made money off of a concept that would have been forgotten in that scenario.
"And you have shown that blondes are still dumb, even with your comprehension, given how much you've parroted their unintentional level of selective hearing, intentionally. Though I'm likely just giving credit in another area undeserved. Your obsession of names, be it courtesy or not, also continues to ignore the previous offer of just settling you on giving the Majin's name.”
She gestured towards the alien besides her, who hadn’t stop doodling since the girl had started doing so to pass the time. With how there was already color to it among other things, she wasn’t surprised at all just how long they had been at it. Though what was time to an ageless being, except exhaustion?
The insistence of wanting to know her name in the first place, also ignored the obvious information already given out publicly about her mother being the one to represent the corporation, since she had secretly taken over. A surname should have been more than enough, for the absent-minded.
Not to mention how it was how people were supposed to be addressed among a workplace environment in the first place, when possessing the kind of position she had. She would have to make note just as well to her employees, to put the blonde on a watch list. It was a basic concept and not the first time.
”You’ve really never been in a position of power, or are more clueless about politics than you make out, if you believe fighting won’t be a necessity. Just what do you think happens during an invasion or why it happens? They’re here to conquer and this role isn’t some safe haven.”
This response from the blonde was one of the most hardest things that had to have filtered through her muffled perspective. The idea that important people were somehow immune to being targeting or forced to see the kind of action of those who served them. It was just unrealistic thinking.
There was also the whole belief the girl had about commanding, that she still clearly disagreed on. Not to mention serve as another thing the blonde would be late on, with the innate ability she had to control other Vampires, since having become a Matriarch. Not surprising at all.
It wasn’t her first choice to have picked the neck as a place to feed blood from. The wrist was her usual, although she supposed there was media and folklore to blame for the belief that they preferred the neck over other areas. Unlike with the Guru though, she didn’t really settle into it.
Out of all the people she had met, that either had a bold audience with her, or vice versa, the blonde had took the cake in being an annoyance. Even the swordsman on Namek, who had clearly hated her, though ignored points rather than discuss them, wasn’t that bad in comparison to this girl.
It might have only been two instances, but it felt like it was becoming a trend of sorts, for blondes to hate her. Maybe that was why she didn’t have any allies who were blondes. They had too stubborn of a way in thinking, to really fit into the life and accommodations that she could provide for them.
The blonde’s unwillingness made her wish whatever personal things had happened with the owner of Nero Indistries, would be solved. Competition in this market structure was ideal, even for businesses like those only having entered the market not that long ago, and she saw potential.
But it was just the way life worked. Good things just didn’t come as easily as just wanting it. Though with the kind of power she had, the opportunities of making things how she wished only became more of a viable thing to happen, than it could have ever been, had she never been turned into a Vampire.
”Words for the vulnerable and uneducated. It’ll be sent here within under a day.”
Which would be after personally telling her employees what she wished to include. Beyond keeping a certain distance away and barring unnecessary interaction, she now had more than enough examples to quote the kind of thinking the girl had, which could also be referenced and stated.
Leaving with the Majin had been rather easy thanks to her refined speed, the girl in her arms carefully holding onto her phone in surprise, with such a doe eyed look was starting to get used to. The girl might not have been like Sayako, but she was still a Majin, and there were some similarities.
Didn’t matter if it was imagined or otherwise. She considered the alien to be under her protection, just like she would with any other person who held her interest. Besides, the favor she owed the girl’s family wasn’t something that was easily returned, in just a couple of trips.
The girl was seeking refuge with her, which meant doing what she could to keep the Majin and the girl’s family alive as best as she could. So long as there wasn’t any threats that founded itself being in East City, things should go fine. Their bodies were tough enough for them to die only through vaporization.
Heading towards the house belonging to the girl’s parents, which was really just an apartment the last time she had been here, took her back to her days as a fledgling, and before she had taken over Capsule Corp. The place of course, wasn’t how she really remembered it to be, due to her body.
What she vaguely recalled to be a place with other Majins around and wonder, was more now like uninterest, in those she saw who were too stubborn to have evacuated, like this girl’s parents had. The blonde hadn’t been wrong about the city being barren though, because of those leaving earth.
The signatures her senses were detecting, were few, though she could smell enough to know there were those underground who were likely to be her kin than regular people in bunkers. Things were different here compared to West City, where her corporation still saw liveliness compared to elsewhere.
Buildings around here, while mostly empty, had likely saw damage thanks to the demon that she had easily passed. Whatever it was up to, she would check up on later, knowing the blonde would be there ‘protecting’ the city. She was going to have a word with that one, about future prospects.
Arriving at the apartments where she recalled the girl living, and hadn’t been corrected upon, she settled the Majin down for the moment. If she was going to escort them to safety, it was going to require speeding them all back and forth a certain distance, until they had gotten past the demon.
”I’m home~ Are you guys okay?”
The Majin had immediately ran upon recognizing where they were, and she followed the girl, who instead of opening the door with a key, had simply turned the knob. A thing she would consider odd, if it hadn’t been the same way when she had first met the girl’s parents. A sign of a good neighborhood.
Her interest in the situation had passed by, as soon as she had followed after the girl, appropriately stepping into the home by temporarily taking her shoes off. Finding herself suddenly staring at the Majin hug her parents, who were still alive, although had the hint of sadness behind their demeanor.
Nevertheless, the kind of praised she received, and being pulled into a hug just as well, were all reminders of days that had died. She would have been flustered back then, though only found herself smiling politely, the situation of the city still on her mind, more than what was essentially reunion.
”I’ll escort you three towards West City for the most part. Just listen to Saeko, if you wish to get past the danger. It’s not going to be an easy trip.”
It still remained to be a lighter atmosphere, even with the conditions of the city, and her words of a warning. Though from a couple of Majins as docile as they were, she wasn’t surprised. She only watched as they ran towards their rooms, grabbing what they could in what they considered valuable.
Small things mostly, absorbed right into their bodies, before they had finally left the apartment. Back at the blonde’s office, time seemed to move so slowly, feeling agony for her, but this escort was different. She found herself getting lost in the movements, more than anything else, as it should be.
By the time she had felt the demon’s power again, it had been joined by the blonde. It was an example of how power didn't exactly draw in those expected of it to, though that would only make things easier on the demon, who would only receive her assistance, if it was near the threat of vaporization.
She knew full well, this wasn't even its full power.
Was that hesitance she was feeling?
She had never been one to like waiting, even knowing not doing so, could vaporize her existence into nothing. The words of that woman going on about how death could just be cheated, was supposed to bring comfort that even someone like, could easily leave Hell, and return to Makai, if that had happened.
It was why she didn't so care as much, what could happen to her by not even a fraction of her own power. She was strong enough to make it out alive if the city collapsed. These two demons though, if not for their favor with Lord Heizen, she would have just lashed out at. Not have bothered waiting for orders.
Her maws had lightly clacked as she stood there, the gap between their responses, leaving an ache in her mind. It felt like things were taking so long. Not even the power of what she felt, or the way it had crackled along her swords, was enough to distract her from desiring how much she wished to swing the blades. Another slightest of twitches had came, before a response had came, informing that she had practically given them something which was useless.
Of course it would have had to been her own to nearly wipe out those Saiyans, and for it to have been both Lord Heizen, and the queen that had decided things. Who else could it have been? That woman had been surprised by her own power, and the Kold Demons were no longer as relevant as tales had made out.
"Then I've been away far longer than this realm's cycles have made out."
Her own use was something she had always questioned, being grouped with the others in some large mass, but not enough to intentionally stay in this realm of filth, and miss out on destruction. She was going to be lost, when she had returned to Makai, and it was going to annoy her greatly, having to be told of things she should have already knew. As if she was one of those lesser demons, that were only able to tap into their heart or the Makyo Star for power.
All troubles of that had been lost however, upon hearing she was being given permission to destroy the city. A smirk had played across her lips, and her power had slowly began to rise, the wisps of black that were around her blades, traveling across her body just as well. The power of a full-fledged demon.
"Thank you, for the opportunity. I shall proceed with what I started."
She might have missed whatever pleasures she could have gotten, from potentially helping out wipe the Saiyans, but this would make up for it in her own eyes. The city here would fall, and whatever repercussions that woman could have given her, if she truly cared about the cities not of her domain, wouldn't even come close to her pains when she returned to Makai. Her own lord's interest in the planet, was pushed in the back of her mind at the moment.
It wasn't half as important as her own enjoyment, though a part of her mind recognized how difficult conquering a planet in their name, would be, knowing of that woman. The reason she hadn't even been stopped in the first place, was that one not caring for something that wasn't in her realm of control.
She had the confidence enough to feel that comfortable. There was no mistaking that woman's power was the one this demon was referring to. They had all felt it, yet she knew in between what encounters she already had with her, this wasn't even the full extent of her power. Even the queen would find it difficult.
"The woman refers to herself as an Antediluvian, going on about reaching godhood, the last I encountered her. She seems to allow destruction, so long as it's away from her domain."
Being around the woman alone, was enough to give her a feeling she had despised. Her arms always felt much lighter, as if she could just be knocked over like nothing. Shattered, like glass. It couldn't have been more infuriating, feeling like she had no grasp of herself, as if power had been taken.
Talking about the woman, brought her back to Lord Heizen's interest in conquering the planet, and her grip onto her blades only grew tighter, knowing the possibility of being questioned about a success against this woman. The answer of which, she already knew would be if the woman had allowed it.
The presence of another energy, although one which was much weaker, made itself known. They telepathically called out her and those other two, announcing herself as queen of this planet, with that abysmal power. It didn't matter if it was the girl's true power or not. The city would fall as she had planned.
Completely having tapped into the power of a full-fledged demon, she had swung both of her blades, expelling out a mass of energy. The idea of her needing help was pitiful, though might have been for the best, as much as it angered. If the girl were to fight back, she would have trouble moving after.
"He'll be wasting his time then. This isn't the full extent of my power."
This girl would know it just as well, if she forced her hand, more than she already was.

Tanariul powers up to her next tier, and unleashes Final Explosive Wave for a PL of 4,933,584, mechanically, at East City. It takes over 4 million to destroy the planet, from those I have counted to be apart of Earth's Forces (Chris, Holly with the Queen title, Flare, etc.), so this should be fine enough to just destroy the city like I intended, and not the planet itself.
[OT-3] Final Explosive Wave - Calling upon what power they hold inside, the demon releases it outwards from their body, meaning to kill or severely injure their opponent. [100% PL]

The situation in East city had become dire. The creature in her line of sight had powered up further, while the other two powers began to converge on her location. Holly knew that she wouldn’t be able to handle this on her own, but she wasn’t going to turn tail and run away now. She couldn't let another city fall at all costs. Besides, she wouldn't give the Vampire the satisfaction of seeing weakness from her.
<I know that the Vampire can sense energy. She very well knows that I’m not going to be alive to sign that contract. That wretched woman!>
It was only natural that they didn't like each other. Both were similar in several key ways. Like two magnets of the same polarity, they violently pushed each other away when they interacted. Both of them wanted the last word, and both of them were proud women. But they had fundamentally different views that caused them to clash at every turn.
Holly didn’t expect for that women to help her out of this predicament. Although a part of her was glad that she wasn't. She didn’t want to owe her any kind of thanks. Holly put her mind off of the vampire, and released the suppression seals she put on herself.
They were meant for increasing her strength while she honed her abilities, but they were a liability in this situation. The demon wouldn't be able to sense any change in her power level, although the magics aura glowed more vibrantly.
The creature then fired its attack! It wasn’t aimed at her, but rather the city itself. A beam of blue energy shot out from the magic circle, colliding with the attack that had been sent her way.
Holly grit her teeth as she felt her attack being pushed back. She was going to have to put her all into this if she had any chance of repelling the attack. Her voice reverberated in the mind of all 3 demons once again.
<I’ve waited for this moment for years! Everything I’ve done has led up to this moment! I’m not going to let a group of alien usurpers just waltz in here and take everything that I’ve obtained!>
Holly place her other hand behind her magic circle, narrowing her eyes at the demon as she poured more magic into the attack. The blue beam intensified, stopping the demons attack cold. Then it slowly began to gain ground against it.
Holly held her arms steady, putting her all into hitting that thing. If she could hold them off long enough, then she might have a chance.
<Some of them are still on Earth. At least one of them should come here to help defend the city.>
Holly had been banking on the strong defenders of Earth to show up and come to her aid. Although right now she was feeling the first residuals of fear pricking at her. What if one didn't come? Even if she managed to deal with this enemy before it's allies got there, she would be in no condition to fight them. If she didn't get help, then she would surely be defeated.

“Is that so, comrade? How unfortunate for your enemies then…,” she mused inside the Demon’s mind, though one who did not know her might have not realized she was in fact trying to be pleasant. It was the closest to a compliment the young woman could give… They were in for a real mess when they arrived in East City. No matter what… Delphi was going to be sure to stay hidden. Even if Seid didn’t follow the mission through… she would. She continued her slow descent toward the city - allowing Seid to take the frontline while she flew in from a lower altitude… conserving and suppressing her energy to ease her approach to the scene.
The Shadow Demon flew at an alarming pace towards East City - ready to help grind this woman and her home into dust. Screw subtlety. Screw the mission. Screw Lord Heizen. This woman had questioned, and INSULTED the Demon Warrior. “She will learn to bow beneath my feet!” he growled softly to himself as he flew, a black streak of light following him. Anger and Pride swallowed the Demon’s resolve and reason as he underwent his transformation mid flight.
His skin quickly turned pitch-black, the Demon even growing in height as his eyes glowed with a more luminous shade of red. Armor composed entirely of shadows quickly surrounded his body, a pointed helm rested on his head. This was the Shadow Demon known as Seid of Clan Gaknor. Inheritor to Heizen’s throne and future Demon Lord. And this was only the beginning of his tapped potential. And so did he arrive hovering above the city whilst the unknown Demon began to clash energy with the foolish woman. Unlike Delphi - Seid possessed no ability to gauge powers. Clueless to how strong either of them were - Seid simply laughed as he saw the tiny blonde girl begin to push back the mighty Demon that Delphi had been so scared of. “You can’t even handle her by yourself, and yet you think you can command ME, woman?! I will bathe this city in your blood!” he roared as he fired a Hellzone Wave - the signature technique of Lord Heizen. A Dark Blue Energy Wave soon made its way directly for the girl - exploding directly on top of her arm should she prove unable to dodge or defend against it. The Shadow Demon’s aim was specifically to blast her arm off the rest of her body, though it would damage part of her side as well. It wasn’t exactly the most precise of weapons after all. Had he gone all out from the get go - the sorcerer would not have survived.
But that was the thing…
He wanted to see her suffer.
Meanwhile Delphi… who arrived just within the city limits (having flown at a low altitude incapable of being noticed from an upward glance) - began to quickly land and run discreetly along the city streets, using many of the buildings as cover. Eyes looked rather confused at her as she garnered some small level of attention from whatever sort of bystanders were around in this forsaken metropolis. Her Ki sense scanning for that terrifying energy. She was going to keep her distance, but she had to get a look at this Vampire for herself. She had to carefully assess the face and hopefully the identity of the mystery woman. For Lord Heizen’s sake.

Delphi is using PT-1 Suppression to hide her power level to an incredibly low number, and is tailing Rukia discreetly.
Seid is transformed into his Demon Lord State (1,357,812) and fired a OT-1 Hellzone Wave directly at Holly for 339,453! If it connects it will destroy her right arm.
It was a strange thing to see in a place like this, but not one she would say wasn't welcome. After all of that incessant back and forth between her and the blonde, she needed some humor. This family of Majins had plenty just as well, subtly poking fun at their expressions, as she carried each of them, little by little. Their bodies were pretty light under her grasp, accessing the strength of a Matriarch, whose form she hadn't left since leaving the palace.
There hadn't been a real need to, really. Not when she had prospects around to come into fruition, which she could get to, once these three were out of the way. There was a part of her that appreciated they held so much trust in her, but another part of her that recognized the atmosphere for what it was.
The powers within the city were too much for these guys to handle, and it would be distracting, for her to have them constantly getting behind her, if worst had came to worst. Choosing to even keep them alive in the first place, was only because she saw them as assets she couldn't allow losing. Had they just been anyone else, she would have gladly let them wander off on their own. Transporting them, while not difficult, did prove to be a rather big tease.
Whatever was going on right now, it felt like the exact kind of thing she had been hoping, when she had decided to associate with that demon. Disappointingly, it wasn't going all out like it should, or using the power that she had taught it, but it was still doing the things she couldn't.
"How are you all managing to hold up?"
They had already made it pretty far away from the apartments of where the family lived, taking a different route away from all of the action, knowing the demon had the ability to collapse the city if it wished to. Nothing that would have been a problem for these three, with their malleable bodies, but the part of her that didn't see disgust for them not being her own kin, did wish to not inconvenience them. At least, more than they likely already were.
"The power around feels nice, doesn't it? Something you're trying to check out, right?"
Her eyes fell upon the Majin's father, who from her memories, she knew had used to have more mass to him. He was still a bulky alien and as tall as she had remembered, otherwise. The beaming tone in his voice accurately guessed her desires, only being disrupted by her still moving each of them around.
"It does~ Takes me back to some of our old days, we don't get to see too often enough."
The girl's mother was just as lively as well, bold enough to cradle her arms around her neck, while she was moving them. The bit of white that she saw near the woman's legs, had her come to the realization these two were no longer just dressed in a military uniform, like when she had first met them.
"You were supposed to have left with those that had evacuated, though you chose to stay for more important reasons, didn't you?"
Her answer to the man's question, it was only the continued glow of her vibrant eyes, which were similar to their own red ones, that really needed to be said. If she hadn't been prepared for things to go wrong, she could have easily just revert back to her original state, and look at them with her normally soft brown eyes. A question was better to be thrown at them, as she had turned to the most quiet of this little group, who she had transported first.
It was that smile, which could have easily turned to tears, if the girl's parents had just been gone without their daughter. But that battle that had happened awhile ago, wasn't something meant to just be in fear of forever. The people that had evacuated the planet in the first place, should have been helping their own cities return its infrastructure. Though she guessed if they did so late enough, it would only wind up benefiting herself.
They had moved on again, much farther, as she felt what she recognized to be the demon's power, struggling a bit to fight against the blonde's own. The difference between the two were a huge gap, thanks to the girl's innate ability, which only made her wish to make scouters more relevant again.
If only because she knew it would wind up upsetting the blonde. But the girl was still also just as late in being one of those she knew who disliked her. The swordsman on Namek had already took that spot first, and then innocent Lucy, who easily feared her power, just like a typical earthling would.
"This is as far as I can really take you, without plans going wrong on my end. Just head to West City, and you'll be safe."
Leaving the vicinity of East City, had been arduous, but it was the back and forth trips that made them as such. With her task now done, she could go as fast as she had liked, if it meant being there to ensure that demon didn't die. If the blonde was really fitting for the role, she should still be alive.
The last thing she saw before she left, were those three hugging each other. There was supposed to be empathy in such a sight, and she was able to recognize it, but not feel it for herself. Possibly one of the strangest things that could come to this road of power, knowing someone so alien was more human than herself. But now, what was left for her to strive towards in growth, when it came to power? That man had gained his own godhood through the dragonballs.
This couldn't have been the limits she could reach in transformations. Pulling out her phone, she had texted another number on her phone, since she had headed off to escort the Majins. The girl owning the number, was better than the Vampire she had knew for this task, and needed more of a role to play.
Something like this would be perfect, and she knew she count on the Elemi to heal if there was a need to. The only downside in calling the girl, rather than one of her own, was that it would take some time for the Elemi to arrive, knowing just how prone to sensitivity the alien actually was.
But having the girl around in the first place, was more of a precaution than anything else. Something to allow her to show good faith towards the blonde, even if she knew the girl was just going to be too stubborn to accept help. But seeing as how no one else seemed to be coming, there was no choice.
Heading back into East City, was a job she knew she could do, before the city had gone and collapsed. But the fact it wasn't already starting to, brought to her attention another demonic presence accompanying that of the one she had knew, making it a battle of two demons against one earthling.
Nothing that would be too disruptive on what she had in mind, and if anything, only made it easier to get the information she wished. A different perspective than the demon she already knew, knowing that one seemed to be behind on current events, if it had supposedly been gone from its realm for just a month in its viewpoint. The way it seemed to refer to days as cycles, had said just as much about its understanding on human culture.
Although if both demons were in the process of carrying out their own things, which she'd likely be caught in the crossfire of, going back into the city now, then it was best to impose herself now instead of later. The start of her best technique, would pinpoint any demonic life she had felt, and either end their lives, or a single presence. It would be all of her own choosing, though actually firing it off, would be dependent on cooperation.
It had been so long since she had terrorized a city, hoping to act as a beacon of power that would draw out the importance. Though she knew well enough to know that help wouldn't come, and it would be her own targets that would come to her instead, unless they had chosen to flee, like how pitiful they really were. Either way, it would end in East City collapsing from their doing, and worst case scenario, the replacement queen not going a day past her reign.
Nothing that would really affect her negatively, knowing that she was stopped from just going back after her escort, by what was currently going on within the city. Her hands were raised into the air, red spheres beginning to form from her palms, and gathering the energy needed for what she had in mind.
It would be at least two times her power as a Matriarch, even if anyone was really foolish enough to strike at her, and be met with the end of their lives. In a way, calling upon the power of best technique, was one which she considered to be a bluff, knowing she wouldn't release it unless provoked.
Things would be fine, so long as the demons cooperated.
The words of the other demon, sounded like doubt to her ears.
One which was meant to mock something she had no reason to lie for. If it wasn't for their good standing with those important, she would have gave challenge to that response. Instead, she had remained silent, focusing on the battle that was at hand here. The blonde was managing to actually put up a fight.
It should have been impossible, knowing the power coming from the mortal hadn't risen at all. But that circle of hers seemed to glow, and it was her best guess, had held the power that was clashing against her own. Severance and Waver would have been enough otherwise. This form, which was only one step above the power of her demonic heart, should have been enough. The presence of the other demon just as well, was quickly approaching towards their location.
The words of the blonde, didn't get to her as much as that of her own kin, knowing she still hadn't even used the full extent of her power. But this approaching demon found rage in the words of a life that didn't even matter. Did he even realize he would likely be caught in the crossfire of her attack?
The power coming from him, she could sense was that of a lord, and one step down from her own power as a Demonic Queen. If this was the extent of his power, then he should be able to live, though even if he hadn't, it would have been his mistake getting in the way. She could take his place if he had died.
Her blades were currently struggling against the blonde, the ground beneath them shaking the buildings around, as if their clash was going to just do what she had wished. But it was nothing but just a mistake to believe in that. Her power had meant to collapse the city itself, while the mortal meant to cancel it out. A wish that she wouldn't grant, as she channeled the last of her energy, which would leave her weak enough to barely stand, but she would survive.
The gap that the blonde had seemed to match her power with, she could feel had only grew and widen, pouring in the last of her strength into overcoming the force of power she couldn't even feel. Someone like this mortal shouldn't possess the kind of power to even rival a demon with her kind of power.
It was a mistake. The cause of that circle, which was no doubt magic. Her body itself, had felt as if it was collapsing from within, as she released the strength she needed, sending the force outwards from her body. A clear explosion had attacked the surroundings, shaking the earth even more, but actually producing results. A heaviness had weighed itself onto her mind, as if meaning to numb everything going around her, until she found a moment to recover.
Too distracted by her own focus with expelling this power, the arrival and words of one of her own, became lost on her ears. The vision of darkness that was approaching, seemed so much like relief. Reminded her a bit of what it was like to take the portal back to Makai, or leaving straight out of it.
So long as there wasn't a light waiting for her, she would welcome it.

Holly knew as she fought against the attack the demon sent out, that it was a futile effort. Even if that was all the creature she was clashing with could do, the other signature approaching her position would give her opponent the opening they needed to destroy east city. Holly didn’t like losing or admitting defeat though.
<Damn them all! Are Earthlings the only sane people in the galaxy? How many more of us have to die and how much more will they take away before they're satisfied?>
Unfortunately her current opponent still had enough energy to overpower her counter attack, and have more than enough to destroy East city. Holly lacked the energy to do anything about that attack, and even if she did, it would have put her in a compromising position.
Holly had to focus on self preservation for the time being. She vanished just before the blast hit her, appearing 20 feet behind the newcomer. Like the other being, this individual was unpleasant to look at. Somehow he looked worse than the other one. Since they were both within vocal range, she spoke using her mouth this time around.
“Since neither you did what I ask, the question now becomes which one you two do I take to the grave with me? The souks of the departed won't rest. If I don't do that much.”
Holly glared murderously at the two demons, doing everything she could to stop her body from trembling. Her vision became blurry for a few seconds before shifting back to normal. Holly had to pull into her energy reserves to avoid that attack. It looked as though she was going to have to push herself even further, based on how things were developing.
Even as she addressed the opponents in front if her, she could feel the vampire charging up some kind of attack. Holly decided to put it to the back of her mind for the moment. If she did decide to attack, then she had no way to defend herself anyway.
Even as the demons attack blew up the city around them, Holly floated in the air defiantly. They might have destroyed her city, but she was going to take at least one of them down with her. Although it seemed like they were already within hell, as the heat from the explosion slammed against them. Rubble was sent flying everywhere. The area around them was decimated, but the battle wasn't over yet.

Seid was so confident, so sure in the success of his attack - that it was truly a wonder to him when the girl managed to disappear from his sights and reappear. What type of trickery was this? Only he and Heizen could pull off such things by mastering control over space itself. When the girl reappeared however… all was made clear to the Future Demon Lord. This wasn’t a trick as advanced as Heizen’s and his own… but it was impressive nonetheless. Especially considering the state the girl was in. “Magic…,” he said aloud, clearly amused by the spectacle with a chuckle. Mages in this realm were few and far between. Noticing the explosiveness of the Demon’s clash just in time - Seid managed to maneuver himself outside the blast’s radius, merely knocked back a bit by the attack. This Demon was much stronger than him… that was clear now. And that annoyed him immensely. A competitor for one of the Demon Lord spots. How bothersome.
Delphi on the other hand was sensing the ongoing battle from afar - still subtly stalking the Vampire Matriarch from afar. A Vampire on this level was rare. Not even Nakiya’s own Vampire allies stood a chance against this woman (even if they worked together to defeat her). She was truly a rarity. It stirred fear… but also some level of excitement in the young Heran hybrid. A part of her wanted to engage the woman in battle just to feel her power for herself. But the logical side of her knew that was foolish, and a rather easy way to end her life. Delphi could sense the power emanating from the Demon in the skies with her Shadow Demon comrade… and it too was unbelievable. The prospect that she had more power in reserve scared the Hybrid. She hoped that Seid would be on his best behavior, because they had no chance of surviving this battle if they didn’t play it cool. “My Lord… I’m tailing what I’m discovered to be an extremely powerful Vampire… on par with the Demon Queen herself. Seid is aiding our Demon friend in destroying East City… met with little resistance. It appears they’re only fighting one warrior…,” she reported in, wondering what the Demon Lord’s response would be.
Heizen growled in response to this news. They had completely deviated from their task! This was bad, but not entirely unexpected. He knew that sending the Shadow Demon was a bad idea… as his comrade Seid was always a self-serving Demon. Even during their early days - Seid would override the orders given by Malokai to derail into his own pleasures and selfish ambitions. He had known this, and sent Delphi along in hopes to stop him. But Delphi wasn’t strong enough to reign him in yet, which caused the unwanted chaos down on Earth. The failure to stop his Demon’s selfish actions was definitely a setback. If things went bad then he would lose both of the two Lieutenants he had spent so much time and effort grooming. There was nothing like wasted time and effort to drive the Demon Lord mad. Blue Sparks of Lightning emanated from the Demon’s hand as it tightened into a fist. Power fluctuated throughout the Demon Realm as the Jackal Demon’s anger sharpened. “... Alright Delphi. Continue with caution. Do not get yourself killed, do you understand?!” the Demon ordered with a harsh, fierce tone in his voice.“As for the Shadow Demon… leave him be. He is jeopardizing himself and the mission. Whatever consequences may bear fruit from his selfishness… you are to let it happen. You are the priority right now…,”he said, hoping that the command was clear. She was not to expose herself saving Seid at any costs. That was a direct order from the Demon Lord, and he would not excuse disobedience. Their connection was strong- the Shadow Demon and the Heran Hybrid being together since the beginning - but this was more important than their pointless bond. Especially if Seid was incapable of following simple orders!
Heizen knew that there was one other person on Earth he needed to contact… but he wasn’t a fan of it in the slightest. “Dr.Ragnos… prepare Jinzo and the ship I ordered months ago. Two of my associates will be needing it for passage off Earth. If the ship isn’t ready by the time they arrive… well… you know the conditions of our agreement.
See to it that your work is finished. You have a family to protect after all,” the Demon Lord said with a most serious and intimidating presence to it. The man was the only survivor of the ExGen Solutions branch that dared to confine and experiment on the Demon Lord in his younger days. The man was under the influence of Heizen for some time, building him various scientific projects at the Demon Lord’s command. Any disappointments and the man and his family would be erased from the cosmos without a second thought. “When you two are done on Earth, Delphi. Seid. If you are both still alive, and you both best still be alive, you will journey to the Kold Demon’s planet to survey the land…it’s possible that’s where the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom has taken refuge,”he commanded…. “Very Well… My Lord… understood,” she acknowledged. Why would the Saiyans flee to a planet inhabited by Kold Demon’s? The Hybrid was not aware that Nasu and his army had invaded Bris and made the Kold Demons submit to their will. It was under the Saiyan King’s banners and if Saiya was destroyed… that was where the Demon Lord first guessed them to be. He already had Laezi on Namek to survey the Saiyan Alliance to see if the Kingdom went crawling to their other half for aid. As far as he knew they hadn’t sent even a single Saiyan to that planet. Alas she followed his instructions. She would do her best to stay alive… though she hoped she did not have to leave Seid behind.
As she continued to trail the Vampire Matriarch - soon Delphi’s senses felt an enormous surge of Ki emanating from the Vampire. Was… she charging an attack? That much energy could kill everyone, including her ally! Was she fine with letting one of her own die… or was her ability to control that power that refined? Delphi could hardly imagine such a thing. She couldn’t let herself be seen, but she would make her presence known. The Vampire Queen would soon feel a light presence inside of her mind, Delphi carefully infiltrating her mind to speak with her. It wasn’t aggressive, rather as if a calm breeze had passed but inside the CEO’s mind. “I understand that you are the leader of your race. Does that make you the Queen of Vampires? I am Delphi… here to speak with you on behalf of my master, Demon Lord Heizen of Makai. May I approach unharmed? I merely wish to talk..,” she explained via her telepathy. Demons preferred communicating through means like this due to its ease and detachment, but if asked she would drop the pretenses and respond with verbal, spoken words. Rukia held all the power here after all (literally).
If she was allowed to approach, Delphi would reveal herself to Rukia. And thus their conversation could begin.
Seid meanwhile was still with the Demon and the Mage - in a rather intensive standoff between the two. Black energy surged from the Shadow Demon in a thick aura of darkness. Red eyes glowing with a hunger to kill the wench in front of her. Alas he would hold back for now. Seid fired a single ball of energy towards the girl - even weaker than the last attack he threw. It was like a love tap- and would explode on her shoulder. Though it wouldn’t do any serious damage, it would sting the mage a little. He was conserving his energy, as he knew Mages to be tricky little things.
The Blonde Mage’s declaration and threat was most laughable. The Shadow Lord smiled with its deformed monstrous face - the terror hovering over her like the superior being he knew himself to be - unhinged by her words. “Do you really consider yourself in a position to make such threats? You can barely stand, you foolish human. What is it that you believe you can do?” he asked, curious as to her answer. Pride that was misplaced toward one’s betters was as silly as anger directed toward kindness. “Where are your heroes? Your Planet’s Champions? I was looking forward to testing my mettle on such strong heroes. But instead they’ve sent a little girl to defend this city?
How tragic… I almost feel bad enough to walk away. Almost. Once again Earthling arrogance reigns to do harm to your species and your planet. Once again you’ve invoked the wrath of those better than you, only to whine and flail hopelessly when made to submit. May you will learn from this experience in your next life…,” he cooed.
With his energy replenished - the Shadow Demon awaited the actions of his new comrade. He relished the destruction she had wrought on this miserable planet. He himself could not understand his Lord’s fascination with such a place. Surely there were better planets in the cosmos for one of such status to have an eye on.
Alas there was nothing he could do. His Lord’s will superseded his own so long as the scales of power were in his favor. But the Shadow Demon did not always intend to serve. The Lieutenant would do what he could to contain the destruction of this battle so that Earth would survive.
For Lord Heizen’s sake.

[Delphi is still suppressed and hidden. She has approached Rukia via telepathy. If given permission or directed to - Delphi will approach Rukia physically.] [Seid used his first action to protect himself from the collateral of Tanariul's attack by positioning himself outside its radius. He then fired a basic bolt of energy at 5% of his PL- 67,890 PL headed toward Holly.]
Delphi - 3/3 Stamina Seid - 3/3 Stamina (gained +1 for using only basic attacks).
