Some time had passed since the male had departed from Planet Namek, he was finally making his way onwards to Earth and he was close to it; he couldn’t wait to have some good time with the rest of the team— well, granted that they were not going to cause trouble and also finalize his training. He was close to gaining all of the power he had gathered in the Afterlife back, he could feel it! He was so excited for it!
If he hadn’t been in Heaven already, he’d believe that he was currently into paradise with all of the power bubbling up inside him; he was totally excited to finally see what he could do at his full power, possibly he would have done so in the Room of Spirit and Time with Cervez, but he was sure of one thing; it wasn’t going to be easy for him to reach Nasu. He was so far ahead that it looked like way too much of a journey, but there was something Cornatto didn’t lack: spirit! He was going to reach the King of the Saiyans and then fight him one on one, on equal levels.
The man’s expression lightened up in excitement at the mere thought of it as he clashed both his fists together, his fingers tightly pressed against the skin of his palm as he closed his fists heavily in a moment of utter amusement.
“Man, just thinking about it fires me up! Hehe.”
The Turtle Hermit’s thoughts were not only dedicated to combat at the moment, though, as his mind wandered in direction of his daughter for the slightest moment; he hadn’t ever gotten in touch with her ever since he had died, he thought that it would have probably been for the best to prevent further pain for her, especially. But he did miss her a great deal and was joyous that he could finally be with her once more.
Just by closing his eyes, he could swear he could see himself go back to the days of her childhood and when he raised her.
“Ah, I want a chocolate fudge– no wait I can– oh! The Rocky Mudslide! I want that one!”
“Why don’t you pick more than one? It’ll be much easier.” - he said, chuckling a bit as he took a look at the other tastes.
They seemed excellent, even if Cornatto was more a person that’d prefer eat meat over ice cream, perhaps it was a personal preference or a Saiyan trait, but he didn’t know really. “I guess picking more than one will make the cost a bit higher, heh.” - he said, chuckling a bit as he just waited for her to be done.
“You’re right, much easier to just get them all – hey, can I get that in a milkshake? One of those really big ones!” She pointed to that pitcher sized drink they had, ignoring the part where it was supposed to be for a group of four.
Soon enough, the two stepped out of the shop and they were soon met by a crowd that seemed to be enjoying some sort of show while Corn could see it and find nothing really that much interesting about it, he felt something tugging the fabric of his pants as the man looked down at the small form of the child.
“I can’t see anything… t-they are too tall…”
The man giggled as he then proceeded to lift up the black-haired child and let her sit on his arm as the other glanced with wide, bright eyes at the show evidently delighted and despite the fact that Cornatto did not care too much for what was going on, all that he needed, was to see his daughter’s eyes shine to feel his heart melt and a happiness that was impossible for the wicked to feel.
“I can’t wait to see you again, Kabo.”
The male sat down on a bed and laid against the wall made of steel as his lips released a loud yawn until he got cozy enough for him to fall asleep, for his mind to fall and wander in the realm of dreams.
