Vampires
Starting Planet: Planet Rosario
Starting Power: 4,800
Appearance:
Vampires most typically resemble whatever race they originally stemmed from; theirs not a life that is born naturally, but rather spread biologically, particularly through bites. A Human that has become a Vampire would have very pale skin. Sometimes a pale white, sometimes a shade of blue or purple. But whatever the case they look deathly; which is not far off from the truth. Vampires are among the living dead. Most races can be turned into a Vampire as well. Their eye color undergoes a change as well, turning either to a pure black, or to a pure red.
However, aside from their pupils their eyes can either remain white or turn a hue of yellow. Their hair color covers a fair range of black, blue, or purple. Though one could safely assume that a variety of other hair colors would be very possible. Most Vampires become very thin or at the very least appear to lack muscle tone. Some Vampires become very beautiful especially among those in their original race; while others can become quite misshapen and deformed due to the effects of their transformation. However stronger Vampires are able to make their blood magic bend to their desires, and overcome this aesthetic punishment.
As Vampires are not born through breeding, a half Vampire is entirely impossible. The most that one could expect is for them to retain the appearance of their original race. However their other traits would become like that of the common Vampire, which is an enhanced strength as well as dark powers based around their consumption of blood...
Background:
The beginning of Vampires is something that has fallen under much speculation, though no one has any rightful idea as to how they truly came to be. What one needs to know now is that Vampires originated from Earth, before moving into space and making their home on Planet Bris. Their diet consists of the blood of the living, although they have the capability of eating food like everyone else, due to their blood magic adhering to their wishes. They are empowered when they feed upon fresh blood, and Vampires are ageless as well. They are the closest to natural immortality that most could ever hope to achieve. However, Vampires are not without their downfalls. As they have many weaknesses...
Garlic, holy water, religious items and prayer. These may not necessarily kill the Vampire, but they will cause those without Refined Control immense pain and persuade them to leave. Contrary to popular belief, a Vampire suffers no ill effects from being within the Sun's rays, though they prefer to reside in darker abodes. In similar fashion, there is nothing stopping a Vampire from entering a residence belonging to another without permission. Another power that Vampires hold is the ability to turn into Bats. They are naturally inclined towards shape shifting, as most Vampires prefer to keep their true identity secret.
Among their plethora of abilities also lies their advantage of being able to turn into mist, or into a wolf. Allowing them paths or action that may otherwise not be available to them. But aside from their many traits... Vampires were formerly considered rather uncommon on Earth, or any planet, before efforts were made by their Queen and her Vanguard to change things. Although most tend to prefer their privacy, ultimately they do wish to expand their power. Whether that means their strength, or monetary gain. There is one thing to be known as truth within Vampiric Society;
Vampires tend to be out for their own gain. Introduced long ago, Vampires have shown the practices of 'culling' and purging the lives of their own, due to wishing to keep their society a secret in their earlier years. Whether newly turned or veteran, those apart of this community have a chance of their lives and positions being taken away. The "Ancients" who are centuries old, the average life of a Vampire before they're likely willing to retire and depart to the afterlife, while not immune to being culled, could easily give even the strongest of Vampires a challenge with their great experience and knowledge. One of the reasons why they're generally respected and work alongside certain powerful coven leaders, to pass on what they know. In recent times, the Queen and her Vanguard has used the stronger compulsion they've inherently gained, and temporarily cease the practice of culling each other. Dubbed as a "Grand Order" for the Queen, and an "Order" for the Vanguards, they're much stronger than any normal Vampiric compulsion, as only those who have become a Patriarch/Matriarch find themselves with this ability.
Although primarily a society with shared titles, split amongst the community taking leadership of their own covens, only five Patriarchs/Matriarchs are allowed to exist due to their power and control over the population. The current Queen, who has gained the title after taking the position vacant for several centuries, and becoming the strongest Vampire, decides whether or not any of these Patriarchs/Matriarchs become Antediluvians. These Vampires gain even more responsibility, and at this point in their lives, really see the monotony of life, and just why their path to power was meant to be a punishment.

Name Pun Theme(s):
Trampire, a female Vampire. Fangs and Count Drac, two male Vampires. Vampiric Puns are the aim of the game!
Unique Characteristics:
Bloodsucker: The diet of a Vampire is blood, of course! Once per thread a Vampire is able to bite a target with an attack that functions as if it is an Strike-Based OT-3 Special. Should they prove successful, they can drain the blood of a target and then grow in power from it. [If the Vampire successfully bites their target, they can then choose to leave their target alive and only gain 10% of their Base PL from it. Alternatively, they can gain 20% of their Base PL if they kill the target from the bite. This does not change the target into a Vampire unless they are willing, so there's no such thing as forcibly becoming one. No benefits from feeding on the same target twice. Functions in DE/RoD/Saga only. ] [Only works once per target. Can only be used once per thread, regardless of if the technique succeeds or not.]
NOTE: VAMPIRES ONLY GET 5 USES OUT OF THE BLOODSUCKER RACIAL PERMANENTLY! SPEND THESE WISELY!
Blood Magic: All Vampires inherit an unholy power. One which grows to shape to the desires of its host, and allows them to continue breathing among other things, despite being undead. They are capable of flight as well as being able to find their prey through the use of smelling for their blood. [Vampires receive [PT-1] Flight and [PT-1] Sense for free, although their sense does not operate by power and instead by the smell of blood. The more powerful the individual, the more enticing the blood. The Free Techniques MUST be Vampiric in nature. Training them higher allows for more freedom, my fledgling Vampire.]
Shapeshifter: A Vampire is able to change their shape into three different forms. They Can Shapeshift Once Per Level into that of a Bat, a Wolf, or Mist. Each shapeshift lasts for one turn before they transform back into their original state.
Shapeshifting gives the following: [Bats: Add +x1 to Defensive PL.] [Wolves: Add +x1 to Offensive PL.] [Mist: Add 10% to Dodges, including Afterimages. Cannot attack while transformed as mist.]
Shapeshifting gives the following: [Bats: Add +x1 to Defensive PL.] [Wolves: Add +x1 to Offensive PL.] [Mist: Add 10% to Dodges, including Afterimages. Cannot attack while transformed as mist.]
At level 3 the shapeshifting benefits become: [Bats: +2x to Defensive PL] [Wolves: Add +2x to Offensive PL.] [Mist: Add 20% to Dodges, including Afterimages. Cannot attack while transformed as mist however.]
At Level 5 the shapeshifting benefits become: [Bats: +3x to Defensive PL] [Wolves: Add +3x to Offensive PL.] [Mist: Add 30% to Dodges, including Afterimages. Cannot attack while transformed as mist.]
Transformations:
Bloodfrenzied - A Vampire is able to give into their feral instincts, their face will sometimes become animalistic or demonic in nature. Their strength increases incredibly under this form. [x8, but uncontrolled until 50k+ PL]
Refined Control - Vampires that survive their fledgling days and refine their powers are able to access a greater potential. They become a force to be reckoned with... Their eyes will become a piercing red in this state, but they have a distinctive lack of animalistic or demonic features. [x12, requires [SU1] Ki Suppression] and 60k+ PL]
Count/Countess of the Night - When a Vampire reaches a higher level of power, they are able to tap into a power hidden within their cursed blood and become a Ruler of the Night. However their power is refined to such a point that they do not look any different than their base form; save for when they make extensive use of their full power... Claws and red eyes, as well as elongated fangs... [130k+] [x15]
Patriarch/Matriarch Vampire - Vampires in this stage are often spoken of in tales of legend, horror stories and myths. If anything is capable of uniting the Vampires under a single banner, many believe it would be one that holds a power like this. At this point, the Vampire is no longer forced to show their 'true nature' even when they use their full power. But they are more than capable of showing it in attempts to intimidate their foes. [200k+] [x25]
Antediluvian - Antediluvians are the legends among the legends. Vampires that hold such an unreal amount of power are said to be the progenitors of all cursed bloodlines. Despite all of this talk, no one has ever seen an Antediluvian, nor is there any real proof to believe it true... But if there are gods that Vampires believe in, the Antediluvians are the closest comparison. [400k+ for normal OR 450k+ for mastered] [x44/x42 for normal] [x47 for mastered, requires [SU2] Ki Suppression]
