Apels
Starting Planet: Planet Trade Organization Territories

Appearance: Apels are humanoid aliens in various shades of color with large eggplant-shaped heads. They have gills that act as their ears on the sides of these large heads. Spots are often on top of these in the same fashion as their skin colors; various and almost random. Plain white or sometimes deep red eyes with black pupils are set into their skulls. Their whole facial structure is jutted forward like a reptile's. The set of jaws they have on them can feature anything from mildly sharp teeth to large fangs. Heights can range anywhere around 5' to 6' on average, but some can go pretty extreme in both ways, like humans.
Copulation with Apels is rare and far between. It's unlikely that offspring will occur with anything not an Apel itself. (For now, put it up as unhybridable until we can get some form of rule with only certain other species.)
Background: Apels have, for a long time, been a part of the Galaxy as one of the earliest sapient members of it. They grew out of an evolved form of alien lizards on their home planet and as such took to become territorial and aggressive. Many clans were made on the homeworld for the first centuries of society. It became clear that, much like human history, that brains were the victors in many battles. The clans bred sharper minds and with time eventually came together as one planet.
This made them a perfect candidate for enslaved henchmen during the very early beginnings of the Planet Trade Organization. The lizard-people were commonly the brains of the empire and took up middle-class roles as scientists and engineers. Those who did not meet the mental capabilities of the force were denoted as soldiers like most other races to succumb to the Kold Demons.
They've been there for a while, from Chilled all the way up until the rebellion of the lower species began. Having to take such a strong role when the whole thing started, the Apels stood beside the Brenchians in their fight against the Kold Demons. Their job was pretty straight forward; keep doing what they've been doing, but for the Brenchians.
After the PTO had won its freedom from the Kold Demons, the Apels had been granted the ability to run at high command near Brenchian levels. Their status in the organization went to elite levels of warranty. Much higher than the mid tier grunt-to-scientist levels of the Frieza days. They remain unable to actually keep any majority power for the PTO in their hands, but they've not had it bad enough to want to mess things up for themselves. No, they are fine with their positions.
Nowadays the Apels come in a variety of grunt, elite, scientist, and so forth. The versatile race has but one problem, and that's power. That's something needed now more than ever.
Name Pun(s): The Apels are named aptly after puns based off types of apples, pears, and anything closely related to such. Some have even taken to be called citrus and berry fruits too.
Unique Characteristics:
Galaxy's Best Henchmen: Their entire race having been henchmen who have worked their way up since the days of the kold demon uprising. They are plentiful and decent warriors, and thus easily replaced.

Knowledgeable Fighters!: Unlike the Uchuoni they don't need hand cannons to fight. They are plenty knowledgable in their own right! Gain 2 Offensive Techniques and 2 Support Techniques At Level 1, Gain an Extra Offensive Technique and Support Technique at Level 3, and Gain an Extra Offensive Technique and Support Technique at Level 5!
Transformations:
Basic Grunts: This is the standard level of the Apels. Their natural base forms from birth. [x3 PERM] Control: The Apels finally learn how to control their brains and ki in perfect unison, and with lots of work are able to put that to use. {30k+} [x8 PERM]
Inner Power: The Apels have finally learned to ascend beyond themselves and bring out their innermost potential. This is brought out with a purple shining aura glowing across the entirety of their body before fading into their normal appearance. {100k+] [x12]
Big Apel: With the learned ability to bulk themselves up, an Apel can learn a bit about their form. They grow, quite a bit, to twice their base height. Their offensive capabilities is are staggering, but they still lack a lot of power in themselves. This is where they have to push themselves the hardest. {250k+, Requires [SU1] Bulking} [x25/x20]
Huge Apel: Learning more and sweating more, the Big Apel form can be magnified to thrice their base height. Their defensive abilities still lack in this form as well. {325k+, Requires [SU1] Ki Sense} [x33/x30]
Super Apel: When utilizing proper balances between suppression of power, something happens. Most unlike any form from others, this turns to balance out their abilities instead of changing their appearance or their height. In actuality they return to completely normal Apels with no distinguishable traits. They've reached the apex of their natural abilities. Destroyer of Worlds: After years of hard work, Apels can achieve the greatness they rightfully deserved. They gain an immense aura capable of shaking planets without a second thought as a purple aura surrounds their entire body with lightning crackling at the seams! {475k+} [x49]
