Appearance:
Ankoku-seijins are a race of humanoid-reptilians with sturdy bodies, big shoulders and long arms and legs. They have big eyes, a bigger yet mouth full of sharp teeth and blades attached to their arm bones, which they can extend to attack the opponent. Four spikes sport from their backs and another one from where a tail was supposed to be, also the neck is not visible. Their skin is thick and can vary in color but always dark tones. Another characteristic of the species is their prehensile feet, which allows them to hang upside-down from caves on their home-world, similar to bats.
Background:
All Ankoku-seijin are a race of creatures that make their home on the planet called Dark Star, which is a world of pitch blackness, in the deepest corner of the universe. Their are a voracious species that are not only carnivores but also developed the ability to devour light and other similar types of energy to help them survive on their world. Before the age of space wars began, the only member of the race know to have traveled beyond their home-world was an pristine exemplar named Yakon, but when the war between Saiyans and Kolds finally erupt the energy of the conflict lured the Ankoku-seijin to the fight. As a race born in an violent decree of survival of the fittest, their members were exceptionally good at fighting and as such were employed in a violent profession like thugs or soldiers.
Unique Characteristics:
Energy Eater- The Ankoku-seijin developed the unique ability to feed on energy, preferentially luminous energy, to help them survive on their home planet. Feeding on a source of energy they gain that much power for a while, but if they feed on too much power the Ankoku-seijin might explode. The Ankoku-seijin can absorb energy from an enemy or ally and add the amount absorbed to himself. It can be used as a defense against energy attacks, negating the attack. The limit of PL absorbed is equal to 100% of the Ankoku-seijin transformed PL at a time. Half of that energy's PL is then added to the Ankoku's PL until they fire an OT. You apply the boosted PL to the attack, but after that it's gone! Cannot use OT's without sacrificing the PL Gained via this Racial! [One Use Per Every Other Level!]
Dark Vision-The planet Dark Star a world of pitch blacknessand because of that the Ankoku-seijin adapted to be able to see even in the total darkness. Grants to the Ankoku-seijin the ability to see in total darkness.
Freak of Nature: The Ankoku despite all their great power are only capable of breeding with themselves. The Ankoku Cannot Hybridize.

Survival of the Fittest- The world of the Ankoku-seijin is a place where only the strongest survive, violence is a common response for them. Becoming soldiers or mercenaries are common occurrence.The Ankoku-seijin gain +1x to their transformation in an RoD.

Darkness Hunter- As the Ankoku-seijin gains more experience his instincts begin to rise even more, turning them into a better killing machine. {10k+}[x3]
Stars Influence- Just like the Saiyans are connected with the moons and Demons connected with the Makyo Star, the Ankoku-seijin are able to gain power from starlight. However, when not mastered this power is unstable and drains the user of it's strength. {Mastered at 20k+, Requires Makyo Star} [x10]
True Monster- Consider this the super form of the Ankoku... when they have reached their prime potential... and unleash the true monster inside. By absorbing enough light energy they can sustain it and make it their own! [Requires Energy Eater to Activate, x10 PERM]

Alpha Predator- Alpha Predators born when Ankoku-seijins reaches the peak of it's natural evolution. They grow in size, their senses turn sharper and their skin become more resilient, making them stronger, faster and thouger. {260k+} [x22 Perm.]
Unstable Monstrosity-This is an unnatural evolution of the race, even on their home planet a Unstable Monstrosity is feared. By absorbing so much energy an Ankoku-seijin develop an energy core on their bodies from where they can draw power, but they always need a jump start to do so.(Needs to use the Energy Eater to activate.) {300k+} [x30 PERM]
Sun-Eater-Some say a Ankoku-seijin can never drain an entire star for they would surely explode. Others say that if something like this happens, a truly monstruous creature might appear. Their appear as a big Ankoku-seijin enveloped with an aura that pulses unstably. After it is unlocked it becomes an easy transformation for them, as the power becomes part of them. {420k+} [x42]
