Appearance:
The Oni typically have either red or blue skin of varying shades, though peach-colored Oni that look rather similar to Humans are not unheard of. Most of them have horns that come in a variety of fashions as well, and can differ in number from having just one horn or two. Oni have a much wider range for hair color which can be black, brown, a dark purple or a strong blue. Finally, some Oni can be born with just one eye rather than two. Their physical stature largely varies as well, some are short and thin. Others can be rather portly as well.
While others can be very tall and muscular, or anything in between. It is sometimes assumed that the more powerful Oni are larger, but there's nothing to really prove this other than the status of King Yemma and some of the Hell Attendants. The Oni that work around the Check-In station are generally more average individuals of varying physique and height, but very few; if any look combat capable. The Oni rarely interact with living mortals, interbreeding is largely unheard of due to this. But if possible, one can safely assume that the more dominant traits of an Oni side would be very noticeable.

Such as a Half Saiyan Half Oni resulting in a Saiyan tail. Or perhaps in the case of Humans, it would result in the peach colored skin... There are male and female Oni, with the females generally being very thin and resembling the average human female save for horns and generally skin color as well.
Background:
The Oni are a race of beings that are born within the Other World dimension, when they become teenagers they generally begin to work for King Yemma, who serves as the leader of their race. This usually results in the Oni tending to the Check-In Station, Snake Road, the Airplanes which take spirits from the station to their either Heaven or Hell... Or they become Hell Attendants. The Oni that become Hell Attendants are typically the stronger of their kind. Likely to make sure the residents remain in check. Whatever the case may be, once an Oni begins working for King Yemma, it seems that they continue to do so indefinitely, as many aged Oni have been seen still working hard...Appearance:

Background:
No one is entirely certain how their race first began. But many believe that they have been present since Time Immemorial, as without the Oni and their King, there would be no life, death, nor afterlife. Due to this highly important role as well as the demanding nature of it, there are an incredible amount of Oni as well. All assigned various roles and working diligently in the name of King Yemma. The Oni are very respectful of Yemma even when he is not present. Despite how large and muscular some Oni can get...
Their diet appears to consist mostly of fruit. Even King Yemma appears to only eat fruit, albeit a very rare variation that is typically under the watchful care of the Hell Attendants. Other duties that the Hell Attendants fall under is to be certain that whoever is placed within the cell remains in there; as those are the most dangerous beings. Aside from this, a Hell Attendant is mostly there to be sure that law and order is kept. Not so much to torture individuals that are sentenced there, but instead work towards purifying them of their sins.
Some Hell Attendants are focused less on being strong fighters, and more towards making certain that the Soul Cleansing Machine is operational. Should an individual be successfully cleansed, a Hell Attendant generally holds the ability to allow their soul to reincarnate. Or at the very least can allow them to be taken to King Yemma where they may face such judgement to be determined they are worthy of that fate. The Oni scarcely ever go to the living realm and have only been sighted in Other World as a result. Though it is determined to be something that is not impossible...
Name Pun Theme(s):
Most Oni names are unknown, a theme if there is any would be unknown as well. Only having Goz ("Cow-head") and Mez ("Horse-head") to potentially offer such a theme.
Unique Characteristics:
Dimensional Warp: Normally an Oni is only within Other World and would need to use the various means in order to venture to the Living Realm same as everyone else. But if an Oni wishes to travel to and from Other World, they must train themselves extensively in an art exclusive to their race... [Oni can learn a Dimensional Warp ability much like Demonic Gateway. This allows them to warp to the Living Realm and back to Other World. However it can only be done twice within a month. They cannot bring anyone with them. If the Oni has died they are unable to use this technique. Furthermore, only the Oni are capable of learning Dimensional Warp.]
Diligent Worker: An Oni works very hard at everything they do! And the results generally pay off... [Oni receive 10% more when asking for Zeni or Power Level. A bonus for being such a hard worker!]
Otherworldly: An Oni is naturally born in Other World, should they die, they do not need to go through the process of acquiring their true body. [Oni do not need to purchase their true body should they die, and are capable of using their techniques save for Dimensional Warp. Despite this they must still purchase Break through the Vale in order to restore their life.]
Transformations:
Great Oni - An Oni that reaches a certain level of skill is able to channel their Ki in such a fashion that it renders them fit and well toned. Great Oni are somewhat uncommon, but they are perfect fits to be Hell Attendants... {20k+} [Requires [SU1] Bulking] [x11/x10 PERM]
Greater Oni - A Greater Oni has refined their control over energy to such an extent that they are able to maintain their power at all times, Greater Oni do not bulk up as in their previous transformation, however their eyes and hair do carry a soft glow. {180k+} [Requires [SU1] Ki Suppression. Does NOT require Great Oni or Bulking] [x20 perm]
King/Queen Oni - When an Oni attains a particularly high level of power, they are able to increase their size by several times and suffer no penalties to their speed. This state is referred to as a King or Queen Oni, and they are capable of truly impressive feats... {350k+} [Requires [SU1] Bulking] [x35 PERM]
True Oni - Something only referred to in legend even among the Oni. The deity-like status that the Oni hold is said to become even closer to reality should they reach an untold amount of power. There have been none to this very date, but should one achieve such a feat, they would surely become a legend... A True Oni is said to be covered in oriental armor or garb as well as receive bright glowing hair and eyes. {500k+} [Does NOT require King/Queen Oni or Bulking] [x48 PERM]
