He... woke up and knew that he has lost. Even though he refused to lose, in the end he's defeated. The red haired half saiyan reported the dragon ball loss to the higher up. For now, recuperating was easy enough. A bit of a trip to the healing chamber was enough for full recovery in his case. However, he did not gain anything from it. Just a little bit of power increase. There's nothing too impressive with that. However, at the same time, this mean he have to haste the study of his school. He need to get stronger, more ready, sharper in his moves, and to understand his strength more. Yes, that's right, he need to be far stronger than the moment. If he could be twice stronger, then at least... it would be more than enough, at least for him. He know it's impossible however. What's possible would be to sharpen his move, to sharpen his instinct, to gain more control of his ki. So far, while he has learned the art of the divine lightning, he still has yet gained any sort of improvement strength or speed. He only gained new techniques, and a bit how to sharpen his ki. That's all.
"...Let's see... the notes about the robot from before... his PL was about 11 million. Compared to that, I'm just about four..."
Beat currently studying his notes while floating inside the gravity chamber. This time around, he decided to train by letting himself float like this in the middle of really heavy gravity. If he counted it right, the gravity is about 40x at the moment. This definitely another new level of effort to him. Usually, using Flight alone already very hard at 30x, so much that he unable to keep up for more than ten minutes although usually he did it effortlessly. It definitely because the gravitational pull, and because he's trying to stay in place, but even so, that's just how hard it was for him. By cranking it up to 10x higher, and not to mention doing this by concentrating on other thing (his review), this... admittedly is very hard. he never the kind that could multitask, but this is a nice way to train both his parallel thinking and at the same time his ki control. He thought by doing this, he also could control his ki in more subconscious way instead of conscious. So far it's really hard though...
"Owwww..."
For the third time of the day, he fell on his butt yet again. He did not let this discourage him. Once again, he leaped and positioned his body so the back is facing the ground. Like this, he decided to keep his posture yet again. Now, continuing from where he left, he decided to read again. First, the robot used some form of attack that can be blocked and dodged. The power is a bit small, but it's still a devastating attack for him who's nearly three times weaker than the robot. He knew the reading was particularly very high, but he never thought it would be THAT high... He know that even if he hone his ki, he still couldn't do much to it. He would get defeated rather easily... That and the fact the guy does not seem to register any of his words. This is why he dislike robots with flawed AI... He need to get that robot fixed, and get him to their side, but how? He have no idea sadly. Beat decided that the best course of action is to devise a sure-kill move.
The move might need more than ten days to make, or if he's lucky, less than that, but he won't bet too much on it. It's not like he got a device or something that could make him able to master a transformation in three days. Mastering this current form is already really hard. Mastering another would be a rather herculean task, and he doesn't even know if he have any other forms after this. if this is the so called "Super Saiyan", then surely he have the form called "Super Saiyan Two" too. But is that the case? There is apparently no Super Saiyan with red eyes before. Most super saiyans have these teal colored eyes. Hence, the moment he asked to those who knew, they admitted that it might because his halfling blood, but they admitted he felt far stronger than a regular super saiyan.
...it means little to him at the moment though. If he's still unable to defeat the robot, then this power is meaningless, at least for him. Sure, four millions might be impressive for people who just started, but for him, who have seen the ki of a "God" (although he never seen it directly before), it was lackluster. Of course he's not going to beat himself up for not being that level. He's sure that gonna take more than several years anyway. He'd rather not count for many reasons, nor he will aim too high for the moment. He need to be realistic. So back to the drawing board....
"Yow!"
...and that was another fall. There is about two minutes improvement compared to the last one. Now, he gotta go back to the training.
He have no idea if the robot have a white noise or not, but considered how he was unable to contact his home planet back then... perhaps... perhaps a telepathy would be good? He tried to recall how would his friend Suusao contacted him. He need... he need that form of communication. He have no idea if there are people who could "mute" his communication in case of telepathy, but whatever. He decided to track hismother and then....
"...Testing testing, this is Beat. Mom can you hear me? Nevermind, I'm just pretty much testing my telepathic capability. Sorry if I bothered you. What do you want for dinner tonight?"
He sent that through telepathy. He wondered if there is a way to intercept communication if it happened nearby. Thinking that the school technique could be applied in a way of like telephone sure is interesting. Beat agreed that this is the nice way to do it. However at the same time, he's unsure if he could do [jamming] while at it, or counter jamming for that matter. Considering all being emit some sort of electric signal, then he could probably find a way to apply his school technique beyond its current limitations. Either way, he'll ask around later. What else what else...
Some technique seem to have some power behind them... one that the guy used, the one with hard hitting prowess and another with chasing power... he's not sure if he could do something about it, but if he recalled correctly there are other effects too. For example, effects that cuts against shield, or unable to be clashed... dangit, he really have to return to the academy just in case. He probably would learn more in there than self studying like this. But if he goes to the academy, he won't have time to hunt dragon balls again. Not to mention, he's going to be summoned by Councillor Toru too. He guess he'll ask then... but, for now, he'll work on what he have in hand. For a fighter who loves to uses his speed, Beat felt that he should focus his training on one thing that would be fatal for him.
Stuns
Being unable to move, robbed of your power, robbed of your movement, these thing made him aware how blessed he is if he could move. If he was unable to do anything then he would get the most damage. Even though he found out that his super saiyan form pretty much muted all sort of pain that came to him (he have no idea why though), he still unable to move. Unable to register pain would one day become his weakness if he too overly reliant on it. That's why, he should make a protective measure. If it's mere pain then it's fine, but if there is something hidden behind it, then he'd rather not take risks. The tracker type can be easily overpowered, the one that make him unable to block also the same... (if you don't see the power level that is). The type that can stop movements however, is the worst. Definitely not something that he can tank, or should tank.
"...in the end, I guess I need to do something about that first huh... hmmm..."
Beat stopped his floating training for the meantime and decided to learn how to train a defensive measure to protect himself against the stun. How would he do it? He guessed the best way is to create a protective layer or something, but even the consumption of ki probably not something that he could afford. He need to go on offensive, and that uses ki too. All in all, he guessed the best thing to do about this is to create a barrier specifically to counter the "stun" part without dampening the damage part. That way, although he's damaged, he won't get stunned. It would stop him from getting further damaged. Now, once the theory is done, he only need to practice it. First, he flares his ki out...
"whoops, too much... let's see... tone it down, tone it down..."
and soon it's nothing more than a thin layer. It's a bit unrefined, but he guess this would do... and then next...
"AR activate: lightning"
ZAP
"GYAAAAH!?"
Wrong move. He turned on the augmented reality function to somehow call lightning, but in the end he's not ready. The zap would be lethal to normal person, but thankfully he's not so normal. Although he felt like his leg gonna give, he stood up a--

for some strange reason, no matter how many times he told it to stop, he keep being zapped around by the lightning generated by the training room. Even when he tried to get out for some reason he was unable to. He's definitely locked for some reason unknown. He had no idea why exactly it gone haywire, but he decided to try to not care about it too much... Still, having to spend much of his day in increased gravity, and added with zapping lightning is definitely not fun. Thankfully, all that pain isn't for nothing. He managed to master it... somewhat. Now, he hope that next one wouldn't be so... "cruel" to him.
