Ahhh yes... Namek... An odd place she remembered; she's been here a few times before... Course, now her pod hit its warranty so she's somewhat stuck around here for a bit. What an ugly planet... Or.. Was it beautiful? The devoted hybrid walk across the open areas in search of something. Something to do rather... "Everyone around these parts... They're so strong but also yet so weak. These exactly aren't the targets I'm looking for after all.." she closed her eyes and took in some Namekian air. God, that's one thing the planet doesn't lack in and it's actually the decent air quality here. It sure beats being on an industrial planet.
Opening her eyes, she looked up and remembered why she hated this planet so much... "How the fuck does a planet sustain itself when there's two stars completely messing around with its gravity?" she said out loud. It really was an odd planet after all. The lifeforms here relied on water, food wasn't really an option after all... Still, for someone as bad as she was... She didn't believe in doing badly to the weak. As long as they knew their place, that's all that mattered. She would push herself up and hover the skies as she wanted to be on a high point. All this green, all this water... It was all bizarre to her. She doesn't remember home being like that... Who cares about home anyways..? Still, landing on a hill, she would look over yonder at the view.
Crossing her arms, she didn't seem impressed... Rather real bored of the sight, "Geez... Talk about some generic scenery everyone goes, 'Oooo... So pretty...!' to... Tch.." a boring tone to be heard. The young hybrid knew this place was safe however... On this planet was the Saiyan Remnants, her sworn enemies. It's really an odd thing... She was a saiyan too partially! Surely, she'd be very welcomed in their ranks. Oh nay, that wasn't an option in her eyes... She put some deep thoughts into these 'Saiyan Remnants' warriors and they're nothing but show. She didn't know too much about them but that's perfectly fine and all. Eventually, she will... Still! A sight ahead was still staring at Artemis as she kicked the ground and stood idle. These kind of moments do allow her to think about some things... Well, she might as well sit back and give some thought then. Bringing her knees to the floor, she sat on her legs and stared off into the distance to quickly begin contrasting on her thoughts.
The goal... That damn goal... Could she really do such a thing? At her power she still felt she wasn't ready for this. To... defeat all the high powers of the universe? Some have called her crazy for such a goal. They were way ahead of her when it came to power and she alone wasn't going to have allies for this. In a sense, it was her against the entire universe. Look down at the ground, she spotted an ant passing by... An innocent creature to say... Extremely weak compared to the average person. She would slide her finger down on it and press down immense force against it, crushing the poor insect. 'Let that be a reminder of what would happen if I came across one of the most powerful and I dare cross their path... I can't simply just overcome them... This is going to take a very long, long time. Hmph...' she gazed back at the ant which was crushed which happened to be twitching now... Poor thing... She frowned at it and gave it the final blow to end its pathetic life.
She'd stand back up and smirk, 'I WILL SUCCEED MY GOAL! I shall not let those damned fools overcome me! I will draw out every ounce of my blood and energy to show them that their time runs near. It could take me one month, one year, two years, ten years, thirty years! I'll do whatever it takes just to completely obliterate them. Even if that means sacrificing lives. Casualties of war... HAH!'... The smirk would turn to a grin... A twisted bitch she was but a twisted bitch with a decent goal. It was going to take some time to adjust to this. She'd crack her neck and jumped down towards the waters. It was time for a drink! A drink of celebration!
Landing down at the waters, she would slide her hand in to scoop herself some water. The water... It smelled of ass... Probably because it wasn't the best water around but... Hey, it was something! She brought the water to her lips... aaannnnddd... SPITS IT ALL OVER THE PLACE! "What the hell is this..? This water is hot as shit and tasting of ass..." Indeed, the water was gross. It probably had all sorts of interesting critters swimming at the bottom. Still, she would let off a sigh and stand up. "Great, another waste. I better find elsewhere with water then... Water that's FRESH," and off she went! Flying off into the sky, she began scanning the area with her eyes. A majority of this place was water too so surely there had to be some decent water around here, right? Well, she'd at least give it a go.
Still, all that thought aside... Why the hell did she even bother coming here? Why not go back to Bris or somewhere and make a little money? Why not grow a little stronger elsewhere? She had these questions in mind yet no answers. Maybe she was mysteriously destined to be here?! Okay, a little too odd for that maybe. She would continue her search for water though as this felt like an endless damn journey.... Now what was the actual reason why she hated this planet? It was on the tip of her tongue a little bit but she didn't quite get it... Hmmm-... OH! IT'S BECAUSE HOW INCREDIBLY BORING IT IS!

Namek... Oh, Namek... The Planet that the Pope Callahan found himself exploring ever since his encounter with the young human. The glorious spiritual planet filled with what could only be defined as alien hippies. However, ever since the saiyans found themselves in control of the planet, he couldn't hold back his personal disdain over their protective control of the relatively peaceful planet. He took quite a liking to the residents as he explored, and from his own personal connection to magic, it did not take long for him to become quickly inducted into the professional minds of some sages. Talking for great lengths as to the details of magic and it's effect on the body and person. Seamus himself was well in tune with his more mystical side, and find the study and research quite compelling indeed. Though, as are will all great times, they are the boring ones as well. Today just so happened to be one of those days. Sitting with his feet dangling from the edge of a cliff towards a fresh stream of mineral water down below. A tubey pipe of plastic and metal feed down into the massive stream from a hovering space pod, decorated in religious material, emblazoned with the same figures and forms that adorned Callahan himself. The entire scene was quite the oddity when compared to the normal perspective of Namek. He was a human religious figure, dressed from head to toe in white robes and standing at a staggering height of almost seven feet tall. Overall, he was a giant to most people. Not to mention his pale complexion, and pearlescent blonde hair and beard. He looked like something from a child's storybook, an old man with interest and intrigue. Like an ancient with the knowledge to spare, or a well-versed academia with a past and goals. However someone viewed the old priest, he could care less. All he cared about in life was one measly thing...
Living
He had known for a long while now, but it still hurt him to think of. His physical disorder killing him daily. Forcing him into an excessive early grave. Being barely half the life-expectancy of a human, he was aged to the state of a decrepit man. His gigantism forcing him to take medicine and anti-depressants to extend what little time he had left, which caused him great stress. Thinking over this, the sitting priest would pull his knees to his chest, hugging himself in the fetal position with his head on his bare knees. Seeing his shoeless feet grip the dirt and grass with a fierceness. He had never been fond of these thoughts, and fiddling with the flowers and grass below with his toes soothed the older man. His hopes of one day finding a way to prolong his death was the number one on his mind besides spreading his beliefs and morals. This would all circulate through his mind until his senses alerted him to the position of another within the vicinity. He had completely forgotten the idea of others being in the area with him. With how far off he was from civilization, and the procedures he kept to avoid the Namekians and Saiyan patrols, his only hope could be in staving off the possibility of pissing off whoever this or what they could want. The old man would rise to his feet in a struggle, before pressing a button on the hull of the ship, watching the tube begin to fly up at high speeds, returning to the pod and confirming it was finished. He would begin to wave towards the person in the air, using his magic to make sparkling forms in the air like a signal fire of sorts, trying to attract the attention of the person. With a quick bellow of his throat, he would shout up to the woman, his soothing and rather calm voice trying to accomplish what his signals may be failing at.
"Hello up there? Can you hear me? There's someone down here! Feel free to pop down 'ere an' talk with me. Yer' the closest person I've seen in the past eighty or ninety miles. Come on down an' take a rest wee lass!" he would shout up into the air with zeal. His hands cupping his mouth to try and amplify the sound of the noise, before waving again. His white robes would begin to flow in the wind rapidly, as the gust pushed past him in such a force. His exceptionally long hair fluttering as if though he were in a movie. Callahan tried his best to adjust his clothing in the climate while waiting for a response, and warming himself up with some combustion, making sure his old bones didn't become riddled with goosebumps in the dank and vapid gale forces. "By the Ancient, I never expected it to get so cold out here... I need to put on a jacket or something..." he would tell himself, before he would reach into his pod and retrieve just that, covering his upper torso with a black and red winters jacket containing symbols and names foreign to those outside of his church. He shivered in the warmth, being accustomed to the feeling for a moment, before rubbing his hands together rapidly to produce more heat. "Next on my list of magic, self-heating spells. That would make this so much easier... Ugh, I feel so old being forced to wear a coat in mild weather. Damn the Kais for this wretched body of mine." Pope Callahan would curse under his breath, before proceeding to make the form of a circle with his body, tapping points of his body with his index and middle finger, ritualistically. A quick atonement before he would return to his prayers and production on Planet Vatican. His person home and sanctuary.

It seemed like nothing was out here... No water that was fresh... No nothing! The Hybrid mumbled under her breath, "Well shit... Maybe it's better to drink the nasty water then. I'm not the type to easily get sick," flying back down to the nearest water source. With her feet gently touching the floor, she'd approach the water with a sway as she kneels down towards it. The water certainly wasn't like the other one... It actually looked far more cleaner then the other source she visited. She would scoop her hand right in and pull it out with the gift in her cupped palm. Sniffing the water, her eyes widen a bit. The water wasn't actually tainted in smell. With that, she would slurp up the energy this water granted and my oh my... Her eyes widen. A smirk formed on her face as she began to go at it with the water!
Finally! So fresh! So clean! She was incredibly amused with how well this water was cleansed. It gives her almost a unique idea to....- Suddenly, bubbles would appear on the surface. A pause would occur as she scanned the water with her eyes. Artemis brought up a knee to further give her elevation. Something had clearly felt the ripples of the water as she drank. "I have a feeling I need to get going...." saying out loud to herself as she quickly jumped to her feet. When she began backing off, the water began to act wildly as if it had become upset by her presence! 'I'm not in the mood to deal with this bullshit right now!' and quickly shot herself in the air! As soon as she would get far in the air, a giant tentacle monster shot out of the waters and let off a mighty roar towards the hybrid! She hovered over the air for a little while and began sense its power level... It was indeed a strong one but something so easy to kill with her Blades of Obliteration. Oh so tempting... Tempting to slay the beast but the hybrid had no time for that.
She huffed as she flew away from the scene, at least getting the waters she needed. It was now time to continue her travel! Ah yes, she didn't even realize it but her Blades of Obliteration were fueling up with power. Normally, this would mean her anger was building up but with certain situations it could mean as well the lack of use its been receiving from their welder. No matter though, it's somewhat a good thing she hasn't had to use her power. If she went ahead and blown off her entire power on this planet then everyone around her would know her location like a beacon. That's something she intends on avoiding, especially since she's attempting to avoid all the big groups right now. However, something would come about surely enough... As soon as she was about go much further... She sensed a power actually really close by. The feeling got her startled as she drew out the blades. Chains made of ki wrapped around her arms as she quickly shot a glare towards the person waving their signals around. It was an old man. If he looked at her closely, he may notice her glare actually looked pretty terrifying. A deadly glare like a predator looking upon their prey... However, after the false alarm of something being a huge threat... The hybrid relaxed her expression and looked calm.
'He's strong but not that strong... Plus he looks really old and pathetic... I best just not start anything. He looks really depressing,' she thought to herself. Odd for her to care like that. Usually she's the type to never care but he made an exception for once. The blades would slowly be attached to her back as the ki chains faded off. While they still glowed, she paid no attention to them, hovering over the old man before descending down. This old man got really lucky... Next time, it could have been a ki wave being sent towards his direction for startling her like that. She isn't the most friendly person in the universe after all! With that, she would slowly land on her feet and cross her arms.
"You know, you could have gotten yourself killed there, old man. I'm not the type to wave back either... Usually I get into tough situations where this could be all a trap..." she boldly stated which did remind her. She kept her senses sharp around here. She didn't know if this old man set up a trap or not but for all he knew, she was just a weakling to him with her power being suppressed heavily. The location he chose to stay was a bit... Unusual though. It was a bit chill here... Perhaps it was because they were under shade? Odd for this planet to have two hot balls around it. Artemis would watch the man do some odd ritualistic things which made her tilt her head. 'Just what the hell is this guy? He doesn't seem like the average Joe... Shoot, he looks almost human... I wonder if he's a refugee after the events going around this universe. Damn the higher powers...' she'd kick some dirt up. Clearly, he wasn't no ordinary person. He had some power to him but his body looked pathetic. Was this all but acting?
With an intake of some fresh Namekian air, the hybrid finally spoke her thought. "So, you're clearly not from around here. I'm usually the type to not give a shit but you may have some use in learning a thing or two... What brings you to this crappy green ball planet called Namek?" she spoke out in a tough tone. She would obviously keep her power level low still for their safety but she'd hope for him to realize she's actually really strong. He should know his place after all... He's a weakling here compared to her but.... she's also a weakling... Compared to the rest of the universe.

"Ah, yes. I am well aware of the dangers surrounding heckling people capable of flight. However, I find it rather interesting to meet new people." Callahan would say with a true smile. His wrinkled face beaming. It would give off an awkward feeling to others, like when you meet your grandparents while being busy. The man would spread his arms to his sides, spread out to show emphasis to the surrounding area. "Call it an odd addiction o' mine. As fer' any traps, feel free to do anything ye' feel necessary. I'm not sure what people with Ki can do, but if ye' can scan the area for anything, feel free. Aye, it would not be very fitting o' me to be trapping or hurting anyone. It would be in direct opposition to my God." Seamus would mention, before crossing his arms again. He was quite glad the person didn't decide to evaporate his entire being like previous people have threatened. It was quite nice to actually meet people face to face, no matter who they are.
"So, it is nice ta' meet ye'. As ye' noticed, I'm not from around here. I'm a priest from the Planet Earth for the Church of the Ancient of Days... One of the last ones alive I suppose. I practice mystical arts due to my rather... frail body. I cannie' do punches an' kicks anymore with how I am right now." Callahan would say with a laugh, his thick Irish accent starting to show more and more. The wind began to bellow once more, shifting and lifting the thin white-blonde locks of Seamus into the air, while light peaked through the cracks of the crevice, brightly lighting up his face. Artemis may begin to see that despite his older appearance from a distance, he actually would look rather young, but with a horrible body. His slightly wrinkled face and pale, cataracted eyes were like they had been damaged by wear and tear. His visible hands burned horribly at places, with scars and tightness as if though the bone was trying to escape the skin. He wasn't just old looking... he looked as if though he had been tortured. Unknown to her, under his clothes was the exact same story. His rather fit body heavily damaged. Scars and points of impact lining his chest and back, with multiple burn marks going up and down his sides. Callahan would offer his hand forward to shake, closing his eyes to give a side smile to the woman. "Who might you be young lass? From yer' looks, yer' definitely not from around here. At least, ye' aren't a Namekian, so I can assume yer' probably one of the Saiyans that line this planet? I must say though, yer' hair dinnie' look like that of a Saiyans. The purple and passiveness of it... May I guess... Possibly a Hybrid o' sorts?" the Pope would question aloud, both to her and himself, before pressing one hand to his chest in honesty. "Don't worry about it too much though. I could care less what makes you up. What makes you is you, not genetics. A nice young woman like yer'self is not something someone o' my caliber meets very often. The last time I saw a girl such as a yer'self, she was barely within her true speaking years. A wee lass with issues of her own. It does upset me though, as I have long since hoped to one day see my son once more doing this exploring." the old man would go on and on, losing track and going back to talking about his family. He could care less about his wife, as the woman actually made the religious man angry, but he missed his son Siobhan greatly every day. The young boy was only in his teens, yet he was alone on this planet under the control of the damned Saiyans and their wartime rules and laws.
"Ah, I am so sorry for losing track of what I was saying. I haven't seen another person in days." he would end his talking, before scratching his hair on his neck, chuckling quite quizzically as to the response he is going to receive the woman. He had not thought as to what she may think of him. She was nothing like the people he had met before. Rather, she reminded him of his niece. The young girl was passionate and confident, but also cold and tough. Honestly, something he had missed about the women of before. When he was a child, the females of his village were all cold-hearted and prepared for essentially everything. His wife, a long childhood friend he has long since learned to despise, held this trait, which was something he found commendable. As a religious figure, he determined that Artemis may be holding something, judging both from her attitude and confident nature, but he did not prod. He could care less about true forms, or power levels, or even personal opinions. Every person, human and alien, are unique and deserve their lives and their choices. While he thought through all of this, he would tap buttons on the side of his floating pod when giving a free hand, releasing a set of chairs to sit in. His legs were not ones to stand around for long periods of times, and he would offer another chair to the girl, promising no tricks or traps. Relaxing himself into his own chair, he would move his hands and limbs in odd positions and ways, hearing a loud popping noise each time. Relaxing his muscles and joints so he did not give out in the middle of their discussion or talks, despite whether she agreed to sit with him or not. He felt as if though he was going to faint when standing for so long and definitely needed to relax.
Whether she would sit or not, Callahan's sense would pick up on some rather nefarious Power Levels off in the distance behind him within the distance. Apologizing to Artemis, he would bow his hand into his now praying hands. Tangling in his hands was a carved pentagram with multiple runes and symbols beginning to glow. Sending quiet prayers, the clouds would gather in the sky as if though to storm. Artemis may notice the massive and troubling explosion sound in the distance. A crimson red magical bolt of lightning striking the ground and lighting a small field on fire, taking out a rather small alien predator not that different from a wildcat of the earth. An invasive species who he knew well. After this was done, Callahan began to seem... slimmer slightly, as if partially drained. His face flush and eyes an even brighter gold color. He would apologize once more, stuffing his pendant into his robes, opening one side of his cloak to show his magical tome and multiple other tools he kept on himself. Just what could happen here?

Something about this old man didn't seem right. Her cat-like eyes glared at him at first with a face carelessness... However, to hear him say he understands the absolute risks of meeting a dangerous individual made her surprised. Her eyes widen, looking at Pope Callahan with the expression of shock. It actually seemed to be... rather amusing in some sense too. Still, she returned to her normal posture with her arms crossed. So setting up traps would be pointless to him pretty much hmmm? The hybrid didn't feel any threats nearby which would ease herself from continuing the sensing. "What a wise move old man. Not only do you know your place but you also have some respect for me with your honesty. Perhaps you will be spared for now," she simply stated with a... smile... on her face?
It was indeed a rare sight and a sight that wouldn't last long. As the man began to speak again, her smile faded away. She would return to her posture as the man began rambling on about having it nice to meet her and stuff. Such a strange man he was. Artemis kept herself listening as she would give him her complete attention. There was one key thing that certainly caught her attention the most and it's the fact that he mentioned he was a priest from Earth. Before she could rudely interrupt him, he kept speaking on and on... Talking about how he's not the young buck he used to be or some shit. It was all ramble to her but... she began to feel a bit bad for this man. He's probably lost it all; the church he lived, his home, his possible family. Artemis went deep in those thoughts for the poor man but kept her face serious all at the same time. Why the fuck would she care? Why? "Damn those high powered pricks," she whispered in her lips. A sign of anger raged as her blades began to glow, easing themselves afterwards when she decided to relax.
She pulled herself straight up to give this man another glance, "Those fools... They took everything from you, huh? I pity you, old man. Consider that a gift from me. It takes a lot to get me to feel bad for someone such as yourself..." And that was honestly the truth. She's killed several people in her past and hasn't felt a single regret from it. However... This was an entirely different story. She would keep her arms crossed, listening further now. Though now things are about to go sour... As he was becoming curious, his nose begins to dig a little deep in the hole... Her eyes lit up as she bit her teeth together like a press... The amount of rage that was building up, it was unimaginable! The blades on her back began to glow within the blades themselves, signaling an angry Artemis is ahead! 'That fuck... HE CALLED ME A FUCKING SAIYAN?! THAT ASSHOLE IS GONNA PAY!' and before she could even form the ki chains... A sudden pause was made. That old man's looks... Artemis looked confused and yet angry at him... Her blades glowing on her back and begging for blood. She knew this wouldn't be right after all; losing it all must suck. The young hybrid ceases herself, an enraged face returning to normal. He probably would freak the fuck out over it.
Still, the old man continued to talk, giving her compliments on the way which would completely ease the mood she was feeling. All that anger, all that hate... It was dying down with each gentle word he spoke. It was almost a complete miracle and there was no pun intended there. She would relax once more to allow him to finish. This certainly has become one of her most interesting encounters yet. Once he had finally finished though... She spoke, "First off, old man, I'm not saiyan. My blood does not need to be your concern. It shouldn't ever be a concern to you, period. What matters the most is the fact that I won't kill you for accusing me of being something that vile. As much as you see me as a nice person, I am not. I've done things that would easily make you change your thoughts about me. Life isn't nice as you've experienced. All things aside, we'll stay away from that area," she said towards the old man. Indeed, it was an impressive feat for him to evade such a dangerous game there. She was on the verge of wanting him dead but his appearance and tone made her soothed.
The old man certainly had a lot to say, almost kinda creepy in some sense. Her arms would cross as the moderate glare would return back onto him. She should at least give him some attention... Right? Surely, enough he would admit he hasn't spoken to anyone in days. Something herself can deal with herself but clearly this old bastard requires a social moment every so often. The hybrid responded, "You may have my time for a short while. You seem to have lost all that's been very dear to you. I will give you the time you need while I'm here," and that's when she would move over to a rock and lean her back against it. Now to reveal herself to him, "I don't have a name... Not anymore... However, you may address me as 'Artemis'. It's a name I picked up from your planet. A rather fitting name I suppose," she stated. She would relax herself now as if she knew things were fine... Well, things were fine for a little while until the old man began to do some voodoo shit of some sort. Raising a brow at his actions, she noticed all the odd anomalies around them. Suddenly, BOOM! The alien creature was taken out in the distance.
Artemis was confused as to why this man who was gentle as an angel would just fuck up a creature. She spoke out in a bark-like tone, "What in the actual fuck was that for?!" Her eyes were wide and her face seemed mad. Luckily, the blades didn't glow inside so that's a good sign chaos wasn't about to occur. He just did something that seemed... almost against his character. Artemis had a strong impression that he was a gentle soul after all. However... He's surely showed another side of him. He was apologizing and all for it but how about the creature he's just slain? Sure, earlier she killed an ant but this was overkill as hell. Something barbaric! Something so strange! Still... She knew perhaps he did it for a purpose. Getting her back off the wall, she would reposition herself by standing up straight with her arms crossed.
The hybrid would have some deep thoughts as to who this man really was... There was something odd about him that didn't seem completely right. Was he really weak after all? Maybe he's just watering down his power like she is to avoid a lot of trouble? Hmhmhm... The look on her face... She was quite curious as to what he is doing now.

"Ya see lass... In life, there are many mysteries that cannot be explained. Where the Gods come from, how many molecules are in the known universe, if there are other universes, and why I struck that animal with lightning."The old priest would say with a certain grin scrawled on his face. Callahan knew well that he had been hunting those creatures out of both a sadistic sense of purity, while also relinquishing the devilish nature out of... well... nature! As he sat there, thinking of what to say to the woman in response to her outburst of emotions and a clear distaste for the Saiyan people, Seamus would pull out a small pipe and take a big puff from it, blowing out odd colored smoke into the air while he thought. Suddenly, his vision began to fill with the visions he saw many times before. The sky filling with crimson shades and a massive hand gripping the sun, milking the liquid fire into the galaxy. This was all in his head, of course. No one else could see this, but he could see the great Ancient of Days. His one true deity in the sky that gave him his orders. As Pope, he was destined to show people the light. This was, of course, relative. There was no light in the empty vastness, nor in the head where the brain resides. All knowledge exists within the shadow of ourselves and everything around us. "I do not fear death wee lass, nor do I fear the actions you may have done. In the light of the Ancient, all actions are forgiven. Even the most wicked can ascend to the great beyond with proper forgiveness and love." Callahan would say with a sudden mellowness in his voice. His eyes dilated to the point of being completely white, and when mixed with his innate magical ability, he would slightly float off of the ground, radiating a presence of good will. Unbeknownst to Artemis, this wasn't completely Callahan right now, but rather his mind playing the role of his God figure. His brain coming up with a personality to fit. A result of the pipe he smoked. It did nothing well, and nothing was gained, but Callahan would begin to sound different and seem out of place as he spoke. "The Godhead, Pope Callahan, means well indeed. The Pope would never wish you to fear him, or for you to wish him to fear you. The Pope only desires all of his father's creations to sit and listen to the great story of creation and embrace the Key to become one with the universe." Callahan's absolutely high state would say, offering the 'Key' to Artemis. It was a long flute-like pipe with a single hole and slowly releasing thick multiple colored patches of fog into the air. The pipe was a golden color, bearing multiple pentagrams and other symbols upon it, and at the bottom lay a hollowed out gem that refracted light into millions of tiny beams, similar to a disco ball, when held up to any natural light source. The Key had some weirds etched into the side, written in an ancient alien language barely anyone could read or write anymore, as well as a translation below it.
And with a blow and a breath, the entire cycle of life in the universe becomes yours to grasp.
It was an extremely powerful and potent hallucinogenic drug found on the Planet Vatican (the planet that Pope Callahan decided to claim out in deep space.) that can do all sorts to people. Make them feel extremely light, making the flight seem almost natural, while also providing an infinite amount of visions to the person. They are all figments of the imagination... But there is one constant. In every hallucination, there is always some exorbitant spacial figure floating about in the sky lazily, speaking words of wisdom to those it deemed worthy. It did not actually exist and was just innate in most physical creatures, and it did not tell you anything you did not already know, but to the weaker of heart, it would terrify and leave them in awe. Callahan himself embraced the supposed existence of this creature and praised it as his deity. It was what his entire religion was based around, minus the book of origins he compared the figure to. "A single puff from this Key can allow ye' to see the Ancient o' Days, and witness the true might of me all-powerful God. His form and figure like none other. The Ancient o' Days is the one who, like, started everything. All those Kais an' other things you see, they're all nothin' but meek creations in his billions of eyes." Callahan would say, holding his hand flat out, as if offering something to Artemis. Instead, he would use his magic to show the shape of the beats he saw. It's infinitely spanning snake body entering what looked like a portal. The lines of eyes and legs down its body making it look more like a fever dream of a mentally ill patient than the formations of the universe. Waving away the smoke and mirrors of his magic, he would sit and stare at Artemis for a moment, seeing how she would react to him. Most people by this point either threw their drink into his face or tried to get him arrested for 'soliciting the sale of unknown substances' and the like. In his mind, he was merely enlightening those around him to the cause of his true God in the sky. The one above any Kami, Kai, or whatever exists above them. To him, the Ancient of Days IS his life and all that he has left until he can find something to hold onto. Whether she decided to take a hit from it or not, he would sit patiently and await her opinion on the matter. Whether she would hear the creation myth story or not. Artemis began to grow a bit disgusted by this old man's gibberish bullshit talks. Yes, she has previously killed people in sadistic manners and such but this was all her past... She would give the man an odd look, clearly not impressed now by his wisdom. "Dude, are you fucking kidding me right now? Here I thought you were a poor innocent old man but you're really starting to freak me the fuck out. How the fuck CARES if a god or gods exist. Here's a small hint if they exist... Demons. They exist. So if demons exist then doesn't that mean that a god or even gods exist then, hmmmm?" she brings up to the man. This was all becoming some type of clusterfuck of a mess now as the man was clearly not your average person. In all out in fairness however, he didn't seem very normal at all when they first met. When he showed no clear signs of being scared of her, that was the first suspicion right there.
But boy... Does things escalate quickly. As soon as she was about to speak, the old man pulls out something she would have never expected... A FUCKING PIPE! He took a drag off it and would exhale some funky color shit. She blinked a moment, completely shocked at what just happened. She hasn't seen this odd behavior in such a long time and it's actually making her feel very uncomfortable. This takes her back to when she did some criminal stuff around the universe... Seeing all the wicked shit like this around. "You've gotta be fucking kidding me right now... You are seriously smoking fucking drugs?! My fucking god!" she yelled in a disgusted tone. However, what came out of mouth next would once again back up her claim that he was not fucking normal.
"Slow the fuck down for a moment. You're completely losing me in your bullshit," she said towards the man in an impatient tone. Though just as she thought things couldn't get any worse then what they were... The old man's eyes began to change in a freaky fashion which would actually... provoke her for once... ARTEMIS. BEING. PROVOKED. She began backing away from the man, clearly being confused by the whole situation that was happening. Was he possessed by her half kin?! No... There's no way a demon was controlling him. He would have a completely different power level. No, this man wasn't possessed by anyone or anything... He was just simply too fucked up on drugs. This was something she's never seen before and for it to get even fucking weirder was-... Okay now it's getting weirder. His voice and accent all just fucking changed out of no where. This was going to be really difficult to handle... Especially since her blades were glowing bright red in fury. Still, she wouldn't allow herself to get too crazy in rage. The man clearly is going through enough as it is... So she begins to make her response.
With a finger up to hold him up, she spoke. "Listen here old man. You're fucked up on some wicked shit that I can imagine is illegal on a galactic scale," she protested. She'd continue, "You need help. I get you've lost a lot of shit but this crap ain't gonna fucking help you. As a matter of fact, I think that's why you're also a bit fucked up in the head is because of this whacky fucking drug you're using right now. If I were you, I'd quit now before things get worse in your life." However, that wouldn't end at all. There was still one thing the old man wanted to do. Handing her the 'Key', she looked upon the pipe with a disgusted look. She was really baffled by this thing... For it to look so fancy, it was used as a shitty drug pipe for a poor old man. It was all for his sick and twisted fantasy in believing this false being he so heavily supports. In all actuality, it was his brain pretty much fucking with his hopes and all. Artemis pointed a finger at him, "Alright pal, I've had enough of this..." she said, attempting to snatch the pipe out of his hand.
If she managed to get a hold of his glorious pipe, she'd then attempt to bend it in half or simply break it all together. If those two didn't work out right, she'd form a ki ball from her hand to completely scorch the damn thing into oblivion. Wiping her hands clean, she spoke out. "Get a hold of your god damn self you twisted fuck. Your god is nothing but a stupid lie your brain made up to give you some hope. It's pointless to believe in such bullshit lies. If I were you, I'd find an actual god to worship and lay off the damn drugs you chose to pick up off the ground! You probably scooped up some cattle shit and decided it was a good idea to smoke it but let me say that you're an idiot for even doing that!" she continued to yell towards him in a hostile tone.
Yeah... Maybe Artemis was a bit too harsh on the poor man but by this point she didn't care. Artemis was also expecting a violent reaction out of her destroying his beloved shitty pipe. She was well prepared as the Blades of Obliteration were steaming by this point. Literally. Basically, the hybrid was expecting a fight to soon come out of it... However, the old man was probably too fucked up to even get into a fight! The woman would stand her ground though and watch the old man closely. There's a chance her might freak out and attack like some fucking crazy addict or he might play it off cool! Who the fuck knows but time will only tell for this situation! Though... Probably attacking Artemis wouldn't be a good idea! WC: 1,002 WCT: 4,032

As Artemis would go about with her accusations and proceed to break his pipe thinking that would deter him from smoking from it, he would merely chuckle with laughter, finding everything quite amusing to witness. He had not seen anyone be so flustered over his devotion and it made him question the other person's sanity with each question, as it only seemed to be funnier and funnier. The pipe was definitely kicking into the extreme. "I am sorry that you feel that way. I was sure you could see my point of view if only you had joined me to see the truth." Callahan would say with a massive grin, before reaching back into his robes and pulling another pipe from his pocket. Unbeknown to Artemis, he had replacement after replacement for his pipe specifically for encounters JUST like this. Taking another puff from the pipe, he would laugh for a moment, before relaxing his muscles and allowing his floating body to descend into a criss-cross sitting position on the ground, and sit silently for a moment, pondering the situation. "What I use is neither illegal nor damaging. In fact, it is partially saving me' life. See, I was born with a severe body defect known ta' humans as Gigantism. In me' body, it made my growth doubled. I'm seven feet tall while normal humans are about five feet tall, and everything in me' body is near twice its normal size." Callahan would go to explain, in reference to his massive body. Something people who aren't used to humans would not notice as quickly. He smiled graciously for a moment and continued. "I am only forty-five years old yet I look eighty or ninety because o' it. Before the Earth exploded, me' doctor gave me barely a year or two left. That was a year ago. Any moment now I could drop dead from natural causes unless I can find a way to prevent me' death by surgery or some mystical sense. So far, no magic I know can prevent it and I am trying every day. However, whenever I feel I am lost forever and have no way to succeed, I meet with me' God through th' embrace o' the Key for his personal opinion on exactly what I can do to keep me'self alive longer. So far, due to this, I have lived eight months longer than I was supposed to." the old man would say, holding his hands up to the sky, as if to embrace the endlessness of space itself. "Is that not something to hold dear and to take pride in? Be that not a reason for me to keep my Key and my access to the Ancient?" he would ask the rhetorical question.
"Anyway, I never bothered to ask. What were you doing out here? We're so far away no one could hear you scream. It's not exactly the prime spot to hang out unless you're like me and you are taking in nature both physically and metaphorically, it just seems like you are seeking trouble. Especially when the damned government here doesn't like me. I am pretty sure they want me... Wait, you aren't part of the government right? I am just making sure... I am not exactly on this planet legally."

The old man would quickly start to have a laughing fest towards her actually giving a shit! An old man... LAUGHING AT HER?! 'Cease the anger... Give this worthless sack of shit another chance... He'd die easily to you...' a voice calls out in her mind. It was that moment the blades would cease their rage. The man was a fool anyways. If anyone saw him smoking that stupid shit they'd agree with her. Still, she would sigh in relief of that and cross her arms to stare at the man. Clearly she was fucking annoyed by him now. "You know, I think you should feel sorry for yourself. That drug may not kill you now as we speak but eventually it's going to either turn your brain to mush or even worse. I don't even know why I fucking care... Usually, this is the kind of stupidity I usually cleanse off this universe but I'm trying to change. I don't want to be a weakling killer." Artemis actually meant that too. She really didn't want to harm Pope Callahan. Even though he's got an arrogant behavior for laughing at her, she still refuses to lay a finger on the man. Though his sadistic behavior on the animal was unknown to her... She has no room to talk. All she could think of by this point was... fire and destruction... A fade into the past... A figure stood there with a decapitated head in their hand... Those visions... They were all truly something hard to coop with.
However, luckily Pope Callahan pulled her back into reality with his next words to come. He began to explain how this drug is actually his saving grace or some shit of that nature. It's rather odd how this specific narcotic is saving his own life when it's causing such a trippy effect to him but she would digress. "So you're not like most humans huh? You are clearly ill as stated.." she tried to wrap that thought around her mind. Watching him earlier with that other pipe though...? Oh yeah, she hadn't forgot about that... During that phase she was obviously blanked out but she would speak up about that little moment. "I wasn't a dumbass... I just know you have a limited amount of those space rock pipes you've got. If I destroy one, surely one will take its place but what if I suddenly had the urge to beat the fuck out of you with all your pipes in your pockets? I bet you that you wouldn't like that at all but I'm gonna spare you this time," she stated as she crossed her arms once more. Earlier, those flashbacks were giving her a bit of a rough time.
She'd look over at Callahan beginning to explain his... sort of backstory or something. Supposedly had a certain amount of time left before he'd kick the bucket, apparently he's in his forties but looks old as fuck, blah blah fucking blah. Can he just shut the fuck up? His whole history sounded fucking pathetic to the hybrid as she looked bored at him and began picking her ear. It was better to do that then to hear why his drug apparently saves his life. "I find it really funny honestly that you said a year or two for the doctors guess on your life expectancy and you've said it's been a year now. Take a step back and go back to your words. Do you see why you're sounding more and more like the big fucking dumbass? It hasn't even been that second year yet," boldly getting louder.
The yellow iris continue to stare at him, "Do you really think a drug like that is going to save you? If anything all its ever done is given you a pain relief and made you live in your little fantasy world of this whole 'Ancient' thing. Well 'Pope' let me tell you the truth behind some things I've learned about the actual universe." The young hybrid would hop onto a rock and squat down to look at the man. "The truth behind everything... There's actually several things you need to know. There's obviously gotta be an afterlife somewhere, someplace and of course, demons... Demons from hellish places. But those are just regular beings just like you and me..." Artemis was closing her eyes for a moment to think about stuff.. "You see... What I'm trying to say is... Your 'Ancient' isn't really the center of everything. The truth is... There's something else above them too that's... all mighty I've heard but I have no fucking clue what it would be." She tried to explain this all in a caring way but in reality... She kinda didn't give a fuck. She actually really anything beyond her own power in all fairness. They were all her enemies... They all would ironically be a huge problem to the mortals and she was eager to fix all that. Well... Maybe as far as this universe but to go beyond to the all above all is maybe pushing it. Still... At least she wanted to cleanse this universe of higher powers. She intended on making that a reality soon....
The next question came though... Her reason for being here. "Hmph... You know that might be a question I can't answer~.." she said with a grin. The part where he said no one can hear her scream made her grin go away. "Are you fucking-.... Never mind.." she shrugged off... Next came his paranoid shit... She would sigh lightly and simply... calm him down. " Oh, shut the fuck up... You're so weak I barely even noticed you. You have nothing to be scared of, dumbass.." She would adjust herself being on the rock, "You're not going to be wanted either... I think you're just being really paranoid right now. You've done nothing absolutely wrong. And the last time I checked... Anyone is welcomed on this shitty planet because those dickheads were blowing up all the nice worlds!" she replied.

As Callahan listened to Artemis speak, cocky and powerful with an extremist view. He knew well how she felt, but withheld his emotions. Her denial of the Ancient was to be expected, and her rather restricted hostile nature prevented her from embracing the Keys. he would stop, withdrawing his pipe to his clothes, and cleansing his bloodstream as best as he could with his magic of the chemical. She wanted a serious man, she would get a serious man. His smiling grin dropped slowly into a frown, and his eyebrows furrowed. The color in his eyes darker than they seemed originally, and his aura like that of a shuttering feeling. His magic flowed freely around his body, seemingly lighting up the scenery with a holy energy like no other. He was not powerful... No. He was far from dangerous, but he was experienced. He had lived for forty years, traveling and speaking with the wisest he knew. His brain was his weapon, and the bane of his enemies. His voice deepening to it's natural state, he seemed less like an excited grandfather, and more like an ancient warrior. Someone with a gruff, battle hardened tone. Something he held back and hid away. His childhood personality. The rough and tough Callahan, someone with an in-your-face opinion on everything. His body tone shifting from the hunched Pope, to a straight and massively tall man. His looming figure dark and ominous. "Allow me to elaborate for you more, since you seem far too aggressive in nature to take illustration of words and metrical speech. Within the basis of my existence is a determinate death. I will die of my illness one day within this coming year should I not find a way to postpone the inevitable." he would say, his eyes closed and refusing to open. His sense going completely by the extraordinary feeling of his magical touch. He would put his hands in his sleeves, and glide up lightly a few feet into the air to inspect the terrain and surroundings. He could feel the attachment to nature that ran through his blood. His connection to the universe, even if but a little. His kindling of love within his body en-shadowed by the feeling of the magic inside him. "I find your rather... positive view on things to be both annoying and assuring, though I determine that you likely have not dabbled much into the arcane arts. Being born into the magic changes a man. It turns them into something they would naturally be contrary to. I remember the time when I would punch a boy and fight off multiple while cursing at adults. A little hellion. When my father made me endure the trials, and I felt the energy flow into my body... When I could fully tap into my innate power, it changed me as well. Whoever you attest that connection to bothers me not, I merely am here to set forewarning to any and all beings I come into contact with." the Pope's eyes would begin to glow lightly, overtaking his pupils and denying all eyes from seeing his eyes. Merely a bright golden light. The extremely fluid magical energy coursing out of his body like a facet. "The Order of the Ancient... The Crusaders will not take our stand boldly to be mocked. The light of the Ancient will one day guide you to meet me again child, and maybe then you can find solace and love within the confines of the great and mighty God I bleed for." Callahan would say, his voice being more and more confident as he spoke. He would land softly on the ground, and call over his space ship from where it sat so he could step inside, preparing to close off the door, before looking back towards Artemis. His golden glowing eyes, bright and blinding, unblinking. "May the light of the Ancient guide you to a less... Stressful and hate-filled life my child." He would finish, before the door to his ship would slide shut. His body relaxing and crashing hard onto the seat, as it would begin to fly off towards a random direction. He had been holding in his more aggressive side for years, and didn't expect to erupt on the poor girl. He hoped she would not take him too harshly, and would take what he said to heart, before passing out into a sleep on the seat. Dreaming of another day. A better day without the pain.
