As the peaceful planet of Namek continued to spin gallantly among the stars, a single, strange ship approached the world. The craft was not much larger than a standard spacepod as one might see docked in the hangars of Yasai, but there was where the similarities ended. The spaceship seemed almost organic in nature, seemingly pulsating with some inner power. It was also not exactly the picture of optimal aerodynamics, as it’s sharp edges and cavities seemed far out of placed for such a seemingly advanced craft.
Abscis slowly awakened, if one could call it that, in the center of his ship, stretching his protesting muscles and bones until one could hear an audible pop. Rising from his odd chair, the bio-android strode past the tiny cockpit into the observation ‘deck’ which was really just an small glass porthole set near the bow of the ship. The bio-android’s face twisted, seemingly almost nostalgic as the planet he had spent so many months on finally growing larger in the view port. It had been….so long since he had been here, and even if he was a being with no home, a predator always enjoys an old hunting ground, especially one that was so…. rich with deserved prey. The bio-android’s fist clenched, his power rising explosively as his anger grew.
[EPIC FLASHBACK NOISES]
As the Namekians labored under their trinary suns, a not so different bio-android fought for his life. Strange figures had interrupted what the bio-android called training, nearly taking his front pincers off with an intensely powerful energy blast. Three of the black-cloaked figures lay still in the grasses, killed either by a quick strike or energy blast by the bug-like creature. However, this was not to say that Abscis was having great successes on his part. He was heavily damaged and low on energy, and could only barely keep up with his many attackers. “YOU NO DEFEAT ABSCIS. ABSCIS STRONG! ABSCIS SMART! ABSCIS BEAT ANNOYING PEOPLE!” The bio-android screamed a war cry, diving into the pack, talons flashing.
Several seconds later, with a loud screech, Abscis was defeated, set crashing hard into the blue waters below. Breathing hard, the leader of the strange attackers sank to the grasses below, sinking to one knee, “It seems…..erk….the experiment’s development was stronger than anticipated, he should not be growing this strong this fast.” The figure said into a communicator, stopping several times to catch his breath. “I advise activating contingency Theta, I’m not sure if we can contai-” The being was cut off at a veritable pillar of water suddenly exploded from the lake, expelled from its bed by waves of unending power.
A low growl could be heard among the sounds of water falling, as a shape emerged from its watery confinement. Abscis had evolved once more it seemed, it’s inefficient insect body replaced by something sleek, armored, and utterly terrifying. The terrified attackers’ faces were bathed in a red glow as Abscis prepared to take his revenge with a Devastation Sphere. These beings would pay for harming him, he swore it!
But it was not to be. The evolved bio-android let out another roar as an immensely powerful force struck it from behind, blasting off his limbs in an instant and critically injuring Abscis. The mysterious figure lowered a smoking palm, shooting a severe glance at his lackeys. “Transport the project to Gavant Station. My patience grows thin, every second that passes is another step we take towards ultimate failure.”
Abscis’ pain-tortured consciousness floated in and out of lucidity over the next few months as his body slowly recovered, regenerating the limbs and organs that were annihilated almost casually by that mysterious being. To further complicate his situation, strange devices were attached to his new body, preventing him from summoning his full strength, with which he could easily free himself. Intermixed with this pain were brief flashes of consciousness as he almost instinctively absorbed the various beings that were thrown into his dark cell. However, it was only when an unfortunate Namekian was tossed to the beast that things really began to change.
The bio-android’s previously trace Namekian genetics were brought to the forefront, vastly increasing his healing factor and….changing something about the feral bio-android. Abscis’ intelligence grew with every passing moment, eventually reaching a point where the bio-android could do something he had never thought of before.
Plan.
Even though his body had fully recovered, and his genetics had given him an incredible power boost, the cunning being hid these facts, going so far to injure himself as to keep up the appearance of incapacitation. However, when the unfortunate Arlian guard brought him his next victim, he would discover the depths of the bio-android’s new-found power.
Abscis gave the appearance of a smirk, dropping his shape-change to reveal a whole new body, one built for conflict and combat. He easily overpowered the pathetic alien, absorbing both him and the one he would have sacrificed. What followed were hours of unrepentant slaughter, as the beaten predator took his due.
The next year of Abscis’s life would be filled with discovery, as he traveled the cosmos, meeting new civilizations and discovering so much that was previously denied to him. He learned that a simple change in his visual appearance changed so much about his treatment, and that if one did not have to sleep or eat, one could gain massive amounts of knowledge in a short time.
But eventually, such quests began to bore even the endlessly excitable being, and he began to desire something even sweeter than the ‘joy of discovery’.
Pure and simple revenge.
Abscis settled down in his chair for final approach to the planet of the Namekians, where he had truly been born. He would find this mysterious cabal that thought him a tool, a weapon, a simple instrument of their will. He would teach them that hell hath no fury like a predator angered.
Abscis returns, woot
HW bonus please
A few things though. Due to Abscis ah culinary pursuits during the timeskip, his genetics have been changed. He is now a Sayian/Namek/Demon mix, with the race absorbed to attain his semi-perfect form being a Namekian. This will net a x13 modifier so if that could be added, that would be great
