Callion took the time to observe the world around him, learning the vast culture and languages of the people of this Planet and needless to say, he was amazed to see such developed technology they possessed, the towering buildings that challenged one another in height, vehicles moving alongside one another, moving in different speed and in opposite directions and the Earthling’s themselves who went about their daily business without a care in the world. Comparing his new life here than the one he once had back on Planet Bhupal, it was clear that Callion was going to have a hard time fitting in, let alone adapt and integrate with society.
The Saiyan, adorned in a vintage Martial Artist uniform began to travel and walk around West City, his eyes gazing and aimlessly drifting and everything around him, drinking in all of the flashing lights the vast different clothes people wore and the food available which made the Saiyan quite hungry. From the corner of his eyes, Callion spotted a remote Ramen restaurant, that was squished between the two neighbouring shops that easily towered above the simple shop. Clearly, it had seen better days, with its small and unassuming appearance, the smell from the small restaurant alone was satisfying enough for Callion to try it out.
“Aaah! Welcome new customer. It is so good to have a new friendly face here. Buisness has been rather bad, but how can I help you today?” The old man asked, Callion looked around the very small restaurant, noticing not a single person was around to eat at the small place. Callion decided to be the one to sit down on a stool and raised his hand. “I will have Erm… One of your basic foods, please.” Callion spoke to the elder, to which the old owner smiled and bowed his head. “Aaaah, you just want a simple Chicken Ramen Soup eh? Not a problem good sir! Coming right up.”
The Martial Artist Saiyan waited patiently, his eyes closed and his body still, his ears listened to the muffled sounds from outside with the people going about the business. However, Callion was also trying to pick up a Power Level or two who may have decided to arrive at the heart of West City. The Saiyan had heard that there were fighters with such incredible Power Levels who reside or just happen to pass by the town multiple times, and he wanted to make sure such claims were true whilst he waited for the bowl of Chicken Ramen.
“You know, it is always so nice for someone to come into my humble restaurant with such vintage clothing.” The old man smiled, looking at Callion, which the Saiyan opened his eyes and tilted his head at the old man. “What do you mean sir?” Callion asked, looking at his own uniform which was forged from the Monks of the Bhupal planet which just so happened to have the same fighting style uniform as a Martial Artist from earth. “Aaah, seeing that uniform reminds me of the stories my father and his father told to him, of Martial Artists who would battle each other to see which one was the strongest fighter. Aaaah good times.” Callion then began to lean in and listen to the owner’s story intently, seemingly now lost track of trying to sense for high Power Levels outside the restaurant.
Andy would stretch his arms above his head, as he walked thru the streets of West City- a calm, leisurely gait to him. He was a little stiff- having just arrived on Earth, to head home - though he never did expect for the ride to take as long as it did, given the asteroids that orbited around Earth now. As a result, what should've been only maybe 8-12 hours took him a whole day, as his old little pod had navigated the airspace- and for it to give its final gasp as it finally had landed. A shame really- he had grown a little attached to the old hunk of metal, considering how long it had served him for - but it was to be expected, given how old it was. So now, he'd need a new ship or pod before he could leave Earth again - though... Really, he was not interested.
What he was interested in - even if he was presently being leisurely about it - was returning to his old home in the North, to see if things were the same as before everything began to turn south for the little blue planet... To see if his father was still there, even if he personally doubted it, given his own old age. In fact, even though Elemi normally showed little to no signs of age, his half-blood displayed it visibly; his fur was partially greyed, and those old bones of his would occasionally complain - though he was able to do well in ignoring it. He was an aged man, and it didn't take more than a glance for anyone to recognize that- and even if they didn't notice his occasional stiffness or graying fur, he spoke with the tone of a man who had many, many years under his belt.
And this would be no less apparent than when he came across an old ramen shop, a little hole-in-the-wall looking place that piqued interest, especially when the smell of chicken crossed his nose and caused his stomach to rumble. Ah... It had been awhile since he had eaten, hasn't it? He smiled to himself - checking to make sure he had enough to pay for a bowl, even if he was sure - before entering the little establishment and sitting down at the front counter. "Good afternoon sir," Andy greeted the old man politely, requesting "Something meaty, if you could?" Even though the fur obscured his eyes, he seemed to be able to tell where everyone around him was - a benefit of being in-tune with life around him. And with this, he was also able to notice the man that was sitting at the counter as well- glancing over to the other Saiyan.
Though he opened his mouth to greet the other, he took momentary pause as he noticed what this other man was - a Saiyan. He was unable to help but think to of a time long ago when Saiyans had attacked the earth, and another from when two factions of Saiyans had fought in a devastating conflict on Earth's surface, those few years ago, and forced him from his home. However... The pause only lasted for but a short moment before he inhaled softly, reminding himself that not all people were like that - that this individual seemed to be just like himself, someone looking for a good meal. He'd give Callion a friendly and polite smile, nodding to the other in greeting. "The food here smells good, do you come here often?" He asked "Or is this your first time here too?" Anyone - even another Saiyan, despite his own perception being tainted by those poor memories - could be a new friend in waiting. WC: 613
– I honestly miss my clothes, I feel naked walking around in these things! But I get you, seeing me walking around with armor would set people on edge… Now, this thing, doodle, moodle, no, noodle! Is it good?
It was a unusual sight to behold indeed, for someone raised on planet Vegeta and that wore his battle armor as a second skin, donning it for every possible situation, being dressed in plain clothes was almost as if he was naked. It was clear that Houri was uneasy with his attire, but as per Beat’s advice, he had decided that for their day at the city, wearing armor would end up causing problems that they could clearly avoid with minimum effort.
The boy wore simple black pants, a red shirt tucked in and black wristbands. His clothes were not as refined as he would wear his armor, but it was functional enough to enable him to fight if he found someone strong enough, despite his appearance and attire, Houri did little effort to suppress his power, letting it evident to anyone who would feel it.
Houri was not exactly amazed by the city’s design, he had time to learn how humans tend to construct their houses and structures, however, the feeling of being small and oppressed by the huge buildings was different from his home planet. Back in Vegeta, most of the buildings were sparse, built to be functional, no beautiful, most of them in a single color. Here, most of the places were thriving with life and color, and even during the Day, most places had flickering lights showing places to eat and locals to enjoy yourself.
Humans were funny, it was no wonder they were a reasonably weaker race. They were clever and adaptable, and the amount of culture they produced was enough to make him understand that despite their clear disadvantage regarding other races across the cosmos when it came to power and fighting skills, they were able to produce marvels of their own.
Beau was right behind the pair, dressed in a royal blue dress, plain and simple, it hugged her forms well, but it was discreet enough to not draw too much unwanted attention, her hair was up in a ponytail, and her steps were graceful, as if not taken by a warrior or a creature such as her.
Upon seeing some stores, Beau listened to some music and stated something that caught the boy’s attention.
– Young master, it pleases me how humans can create this thing, music, it changes the ambiance, I shall take a closer look upon their selection and will be with you shortly, Beat, I thrust he is in good care.
With that, Beau left the group to seek a bit of knowledge in human music, the sounds and beeps were somewhat enthralling, however, Beat had not noticed that she entered a doorbell store.
After both of them managed to get close to the place Beat had in mind, a ramen Shop, Houri wasted no time in entering the place and taking a seat. His tail, waving loosely as he sat down and looked around waving for the people inside and stating innocently. [/b]
–Hello! I am Houri! I am here to eat and see how does your food taste!

Beat honestly can't believe that he's here, the city that become the graves of his brothers-in-arm. He tried his best to suppress his uncomfortableness, and honestly, he still had nightmares of this place when he woke up at night. At times, he would even cry. It's at time like this that he's glad that Lucky didn't share a room with him. Her strange fixation of them not sharing a room together until they're adult made it easier for him to hide the fact that he was indeed crying. He never could get trauma off his head. Honestly, he could have rejected Houri's invitation today, but in the end, he decided that he need to face his lowest moment today. And so here he is... dressed in his usual red tank top and cargo pants. His looks made him not so different compared to other teenage, except his muscle mass obviously. It's too huge for a normal kid, and would give away his saiyan heritage. Not only that, his tail is sticking out from the pants. He felt at this point it's useless to even hide the fact that he's saiyan. He can't reduce his muscle size at will anyway. He only can make it bigger.
However...
"...Houri, are you seriously fine with walking around unsuppressed like that?" Beat asked his 'little brother'. "No matter how you see it, we're pretty much looked at weirdly... Eh, well, at least I've done the procedure and there are not that many people who can sense ki... so I guess that's fine, but still..."
Beat's is in watch of the Red Ribbon army, so it's not a problem to walk unsuppressed for him, but at the same time it still felt weird to just let loose in planet that's no longer his home. Beau suddenly dumped the responsibility to him. Well, he doesn't mind. Houri is sensible boy for sure, although he can be too excitable at times. And the shop that they decided to dine in... is that place huh. A ramen shop. Beat just sat beside Houri meanwhile.
"That... isn't the way I guess..." he chuckled. "The shopowner doesn't really need to know your name, Houri. Ossan, five order of jumbo shoyu ramen, no char siu, change to chicken katsu instead. Oh, please add extra nori if you can! I guess we can add more later, but for now, I'll order those!"
The Old man greeted the dog like person that entered the old Ramen shop, the Saiyan happily eating away with his mouth slurping in the delicious ramen noodles and munching away, he was in a complete state of pure bliss which felt truly wonderful. Though he was not entirely oblivious to the newcomer of the shop, as his eyes caught a glimpse of Andy approaching the counter to where the old man was working, he listened intently to the newcomer’s reply before digging into his bowl once more in peace. The flavour and quality of the food was incredible, and in Callion’s mind it was just simply baffling that the old man’s Ramen shop was in such a poor state!
“Aaaah, something meaty huh dear boy? Don’t you worry. One Instant pot Pork Beef Ramen coming up!”
The owner of the shop spoke out as he began to work on the new order, the food itself on the pots and pans flickering with life as the elder added ginger and sesame for the extra flavour required. The Saiyan watched the elder went to town with the cooking equipment and was quite mesmerised at how the Earthling art of cooking was incredible and the added detail to providing that the food tasted out of this world was amazing. Clearly there was something to learn from this gentleman who held such knowledge in the cooking arts.
Callion’s attention turned and face the dogman before him. Unlike the vast majority of Saiyans’, he was actually unaware and very detached from the news and the current state of affairs the world had been through with those of his kind. When he saw Andy’s polite and friendly smile, it was only fitting that the Saiyan actually replying with the same mannerisms as the stranger infront of him. “I agree, the food here does smell incredible and it tastes good. This is the first time that I am trying this Ramen shop, long with Earthling delicacy. It is delicious!” The Martial Artist Saiyan replied, using the chop sticks provided to slowly lift up a good chunk of meat and ate the tender and well-cooked piece of meat and sighed quietly. “What about you? Is this place also your first time coming here as well? I must admit I-”
However, Callion’s words was quickly interrupted by TWO MORE arrivals into the shop, now it started to feel like a traditional Ramen shop, the old man smiled as he heard the door close, turning to face the counter and offering Andy a freshly prepared Instant Pork Beef Ramen. The steam and aroma of the food itself was enticing to the nose, like a siren calling out to sailors across the vast open sea, it was alluring beyond belief.
“Irasshaimase!”
The Old man greeted in the classic manner once again, causing Callion to turn around and see the new comers which was the moment when the Saiyan’s tail flickered with life and his jaw dropped, seeing both Houri and Beat entering the shop… With the same kind of tail as him! It couldn’t be… Callion thought that he was the only Saiyan left, living on his own with the Monsol Monks on Planet Bhupal, he dreaded at the thought of being the only survivor, and yet here were 2 members of the same species as him. Callion’s hold on his Ramen bowl began to shake, watching Beat and Houri sit down next to him.
“Aaaah! Well good to meet ya Houri Sonny boy! Let’s get you some food in that belly of yours! Five jumbo chicken katsu Ramen with extra nori comin’ up!”
Calion managed to swallow the last remaining contents of his Chicken Ramen bowl and placed the bowl to one side for the elder man to collect as he turned to face the two Saiyans. “Excuse me, you two.” The Saiyan asked, his body slightly shaking from the pent up of years of emotions of fearing to be the last remaining Saiyan, tears began to slowly drop from his cheeks, using a free hand to wipe his eyes. “Please tell me I am dreaming, are you two... Really like me? Actual Saiyans? Please tell me you two are real.”
Andy couldn't help but smile a little brighter as Callion responded with similar kindness and politeness, and seeing how the saiyan seemed to be enjoying his own ramen made Andy excited for his own bowl as well. Getting something hearty and with protein would probably do him some good, with how long he had been stuck in his pod for the trip here, and protein was always good for getting stronger. His ears - as droopy as they were - would perk the slightest bit to catch Callion's response, and he similarly was going to put together a response of his own, when yet another pair of Saiyans entered the establishment! He'd peer over to them - immediately noting that they seemed rather young, at least at first glance. Houri's rambunctious and carefree-seeming demeanor confirmed his suspicions - though Beat, while similarly full of energy, appeared more mature - which made him unable to help but ponder for a moment.
That wasn't the only thing he noticed, though... With only but a moment of focus, he could practically see the life and energy that poured off of the duo, an impressive amount- especially compared to himself or Callion! They indeed seemed to be powerful individuals, the more mature kid more-so - though that didn't make Houri look any less formidable, considering that his own power paled in comparison. For a few moments, he couldn't help but wonder just how strong they'd be when they were fully grown- he had heard a few tales here and there of the powerful warriors that existed in this universe, and if these two still had much of their life to go, well...
His thoughts were then distracted away when he finally got his bowl, though he would give the old man a thankful nod before he turned his attention back to the kids, similarly nodding to them in friendly greeting. Callion's friendly demeanor had abated most of his more deep-rooted concerns, and so he didn't even hesitate in greeting the two duo - save for his momentary pondering and distraction. He was about to open his mouth to speak, though Callion would speak up first. Curious, he remained silent for now- letting Callion have his conversation, since it seemed that something struck a chord in the other man. Instead, he would glance back to his own bowl - gently taking a pair of chopsticks as he began to eat, blowing softly to help cool it off, since the food was hot and fresh. Indeed though, it was quite delicious - and Andy had to almost force himself to pace himself, to avoid a burnt tongue! As he did though, he'd idly listen, eyes sometimes glancing towards the other three saiyans, in a hint of curiosity at just what affected Callion like so. WC: 459 TWC: 1072
It was not as if he had not realized he had his power unsuppressed, thing is, he just did not imagine that it would cause a problem, after all, there weren’t much people capable of Ki sensing around, or so he thought. After arriving at the shop and listening to the order that Beat put, he laughed out loud and looked at him mocking him.
– Soo? What are you having? Since that is just for me hahaha Just kidding haha, Mister, nice to meet you, nice place! Listen, I will have what he is having please, same amount!
Houri gestured at Beat making it clear he was going to get what Beat was getting for himself, but that aside, it did not take long for them to be approached, at first by the dog man, the kid was curious, he had not yet seen someone like him, and the universe, proved itself a place full of wonder and surprises, looking Andy from head to toe, his first impending question, was how the hell did he managed to see things, he had a lot of hair, or in this case, fur over his eyes. He was dying to ask, almost compelled to it, he even managed to hold back a bit before opening his mouth, only to be cut off by Callion, he was nervous and asking if him and Beat were real, he could not help but to laugh and fill the shop with his innocent laughter.
He immediately pinched Callion’s cheek and let go, it was nothing harmful, just enough to make him realize it was not a dream.
[/b]
– Hahaha I do not know if there are fake Saiyans, I don’t think anyone would put a fake tail and scream around running with their hands on their hair making them go up and screaming AHHH I AM A SUPER SAIYAN… Wait, honestly, there are might be people doing that somewhere, minus the tail I guess, still, yeah, I am a Real Saiyan, born in Vegeta, and this is Beat, born here.
Houri had never thought about how the destruction of his planet, for the third time in a few centuries, had made his race so close to extinction, again. In fact, despite their numbers being considerable when it came to the Saiyan Galatic Kingdom and the Remnant Alliance and the few ones left scattered around the cosmos, they were dangerously low on populace. It was weird to think of it, but he shrugged almost without realizing it and spoke to Callion. [/b]
– We are the real deal Mister, spaceship and all, but we are the good guys, we are just here to eat and see the city! WHICH! THERE IS SOMETHING THAT I NEEEEED TO ASK!
He paused for a second, almost as if building up the drama for and pointing now to Andy! As if he was dying to hold something in, and let it all out in an instant with all his breath a flurry of questions. [/b]
– Mister Furry guy that I do not know yet your name! How do you see? You lift the fur, or is that hair? Does it bother you to do stuff? When it is hot does sweat goes to your eyes from it? Do you use other senses to see? Do you have a tail too? Do you turn into a super wolf or dog monster during the moonlight? Are you from earth or are you an alien?
Wheeze, that was the sound he made after all his questions, however, his attention was drawn elsewhere when the food arrived and for a couple seconds he looked at everyone else as if he had not asked anything at all, he looked at the chopsticks and wondered how they did it, he usually would eat with is hands or a fork.[/b]
– How do you use the sticks? Can’t I use a fork? Or in this case a spoon? Or a spork? Also, Mister Saiyan, where are you from? If it is your first time seeing one like us, you must be from far away.
Houri after talking, was happily wiggling his legs on his bench while battling to figure it out how to use the sticks and seriously considering drinking the soup from the bowl, but the steam was discouraging him, after all he knew he was going to burn his tongue.[/b]

"That's my appetizer you goof," Beat scolded and playfully whapped his little brother on the head "Order it your own! Or I'll share if you ask nicely, heh! But better be quick, cuz I'm going to eat 'em all!" Today must be a huge profit day for the ramen master. Three saiyans in the same place. Their appetite pretty much enough to empty the stock for the restaurant like this. Admittedly, if the old man mind he had to empty his stock, Beat would suggest for them to move somewhere else. But it's seem that Houri took liking to the place already. He ordered the same thing with him. "Ossan, extra order! I'd like 100 piece of gyoza at it! Make the same for this guy with me. I want him to taste the great appetizer called Gyoza."
Hmmm, that dog person over there... Zoan... and part of that, Elemi? Interesting combination. Beat nodded back, only deeper to show his respect to the senior. "Sorry if we're being too loud. If we are, you can tell us. We'll keep it down."
But before the man could speak anything apparently the saiyan approached them. Houri answered first, and Beat just chuckled. "Easy there kiddo. The guy might just found out he's not the lone species. Hey there. Name's Beat. You might have heard before but this guy's Houri. We're not actually related but he's pretty much like my lil bro... one that's a bit too hyper," Beat teased, poking Houri on the rib "I'm not a full saiyan myself," Beat pointed at his hair. It's crimson red, and all Saiyans have black or brown hair. "I'm born and raised here for eleven years, well, not here, here, if you know what I mean. I'm from the East. Anyway, you're not the last of your kind, mister. There are tons of us out there. Well, they might be less peaceful than you are if you know what I meant. Well, this guy over here is right. We're the good guy."
Though, when Houri goes into loooong barrage of question, Beat whapped him again to remind him, this time it's slightly harder than just being playful. "You're being rude. He's a Zoan, which are native to Earth. Sorry about that, mister. My lil bro gets a bit too excitable at times. Seriously, I know you love science, but you shouldn't forget about manners, Houri" Beat reminded. "Anyway, do forgive him. He doesn't meant anything offensive about it. He's just... very naturally curious. He means well."
Beat rubbed his hands and muttered 'itadakimasu' when the food served. He quickly picked up the chopstick and broke it off. "Oh, you never use this huh... Oh well. Ossan, is it possible to give him some forks instead? He's not from this planet, so the culture of using chopsticks are kind of hard for him. But if you want, Houri, I can teach you how to eat this. First, you need to do this," Beat smelled the aroma of the broth and he's seem very pleased with it. "Second... you scoop the soup first." He then scoops the soup with soup spoon and slurped it. "....Ahhh, darn, just like how I like it too. My praise to the chef. And after that..." Beat pulled the noodle with the chopstick, then slurped it. It sounded loud, but that's exactly the culture in ramen eating.
"You slurp it! Boy, that's delicious, really good one. After that you can pace yourself! C'mon, let's eat!"
And thus, just like that, after just few seconds, Beat emptied his first bowl an moved to the second one. His tail swishing around happily from the taste. The extra nori, the thick chicken katsu, the breading. It's all just so marvelous! "By the way there are pork-based broth, chicken-based broth, miso-based broth and so on other than this. My suggestion is to try them all. I'm going to try more myself."
As an elite of remnant alliance, not to mention their ambassador, Beat could proudly say that he have enough zeni to buy everything in this shop. However, he don't want to just buy everything. Everyone should have a taste of the ramen! It's really nice!
"So how long have you been around, mister?" Beat asked to Callion.
