(OOC: Shiori cannot be sensed. You need a scouter to detect her pl)
The white expanse covered everything. Snow gently fell from the cloudy sky above. Standing on top of a large slope on the edge of a mountain forest, a figure stood tall. With how whitr their clothing was, they were almost completely camouflaged. They stood there, the cold breeze swaying their white hair behind her.
Shiori stood there, looking down on a village that wad visible from her spot on the hill. The android came here sometimes, to view the place she grew up at. The warm lights glowed faintly below, almost invitingly. Shiori had changed so much though. So she kept her distance. Yet she couldn’t help but remember growing up there. So she just stood there, remenensing the past that seemed so far back.
Andy would exhale gently, his breath dancing in the air in a cold white mist, as he made his way down the road - the snow lightly crunching beneath his feet. It was a cold day, as he made his way to the village - the very village that Shiori watched over - though despite the chill in the air, he himself wasn't cold at all. His fur - thick and fluffy as it was - warded off much of the chill, and he supplemented it with a light jacket on top just to make doubly sure that he was warm and cozy. Being that Shiori was an android, and that he relied mainly upon his other senses - such as his ki sense - to navigate, he was completely unaware to her presence; instead completely focused upon the road ahead.
Even here though - even if he wasn't home quite yet - the chill of the air that he breathed in, the crunching snow underneath his feet, and the cold breeze ruffling his fur filled him with a sense of nostalgia; childhood. He couldn't help but put a skip in his step, even if his old bones protested - feeling the tiniest bit like a young pup all over again as he thought back to the days in his own hometown. He remembered the afternoons after school, spent playing in the snow - having a hot fresh dinner with his mother and father, his friends and the neighbors he'd always say hello to on the path to school, and...
... Ah, he was getting a little emotional, he would realize when the fur around his eyes grew just a bit damp - always such a nostalgic soul, wasn't he...? Andy would chuckle to himself at the thought, lifting the fur to wipe at his eyes - which allowed him to get a proper look at his surroundings as well - though he still didn't notice Shiori quite yet, given her blending in with the surrounding white environment. Instead - once he had a second to collect himself - he would idly fix his fur so that it properly laid over his eyes once more, before moving on down the road. He would calmly wave to a few of the other village folk as he finally properly reached and begun to enter the village, his tail swishing slowly in a content, friendly air. Just a few more villages, give or take, if things were all the same. Then he'd be home... WC: 404
Suddenly her scanners beeped, picking up a fairly significant power level. It wasn’t anything she couldn’t handle, but it far eclipsed anything that was in the village. Her targeting locked on the signal, figure and numbers flashing across her vision. She could turn these functions off and see normally if she wanted to, but right now she needed to have her tactical vision up in case she had to fight. She silently flew off towards the village, wondering what kind of individual she would run into. The village looked like it had been a simple place upgraded for a more modern era. The buildings were small are more fitted for dealing with colder weather. But the designs weren’t too far off from what you would find in other places. There were a few cars driving about, although the streets weren’t too conjested. An old man in a fur coat and a hat waved back at Andy. He didn’t seem that bothered by the appearance of the Elemi.
“Welcome to Norhere! My name is Jack. What's yours, stranger?”
Andy would smile to Jack, and approached to offer a handshake. It was nice that the people here seemed amicable enough, he almost immediately felt at ease here - this was his environment, really. "You can call me Andy, sir - it's nice to meet you." He would respond in a friendly fashion to Jack - continuing with a soft chuckle "Am just passing through, though it's always nice to see a friendly face. Would you happen to know how the roads up ahead are, or any good places to stop for a quick meal?" He supposed it'd be good to know if he had to expect anything, like wild animals or a bad storm - and he admittedly was a bit hungry, after having been on the road for awhile. A warm meal would be the perfect thing to warm himself up, even if he wasn't too particularly cold with his fur or jacket. Given Shiori being an android, he still was unaware of her and her approach, instead more focused on the man that greeted him. WC: 174 TWC: 578
