Tomoroko hadn't stuck her nose in either Remnant Alliance or Saiyan Galactic Kingdom business in over 2 years... Instead she had spent her time searching for the person that her beloved had turned into. With that being said, it had come as quite a shock when she first heard rumors of a new alliance between the Earthlings and the Remnant Alliance... it seemed like they had tried their hands at befriending the Earthlings time and time again and had gotten shot down every time... things had been far from pretty, going as far back as the initial attack on Earth long before her sons were born... Was this really such a good idea? Was Komatsu really going to try this again?
She really hoped that things would turn out positive this time, and at first she hesitated attending this festival... What if someone from back then recognized her? An Earthling that had suffered at the hands of the Saiyan Kingdom of old... would they even attend? There were so many what ifs that for days, Tomoroko told herself she would avoid the festival... and yet, here she was! She had opted to try on a more Earthling attire in an effort to promote the blossoming friendship... opting to wear a dark colored Kimono imprinted with red and Yellow flower like patterns. It was honestly the least 'girlie' one she could find, never having enjoyed the need to get dressed up in something like this... Not that she ever did since her armor modelling days...
"Well... here we are... I wonder just who Koma is sending as his representatives... and if any of the Alliance will come at all..." She thought to herself aloud, swaying her tail innocently behind her. She looked around herself at all of the Earthling gathering around, having yet to find another saiyan like herself. She could feel the stares of the Earthlings on her, and just offered them a nervous and kind smile as they passed by her.
"Maybe I should have asked @cornto come with me... this is stupid..." She thought to herself as she walked along the delicious smelling food trucks, walking instead towards a large stage where she could hear the soft strum of instruments testing out their equipment.
Andy would happy hum, breathing in in the cool autumn air - the scents of pumpkins and spice filled his nostrils, as well as the scents of other merry passersby, the sweet tinge of ice-cream and cotton candy, and food stands filled to the brim with meat. In addition to this, Andy could hear the sounds of happy festival-goers, music, and people excitedly calling out, advertising their stands and attractions - and well, he could taste the kabob he had picked up from one of the stands, munching down on the juicy pieces of grilled meat that he had on a kabob skewer. He could also sense all the different people, the stronger and more lively Saiyans in contrast to the calmer and average-powered humans and earthlings, as well as the occasional individuals of other races who have come to enjoy the festivities as well - it was a colorful bunch, really, and there was no wiping the smile he had off his face with just how lively the festival was in general.
As he walked along though, he would come to notice some people gathered - and he would lift the fur from his eyes to see a large stage, off to the side of the path he was taking. Perking curiously, he would approach - as the various sounds and smells of the festival were now joined by the soft sound of instruments being tuned, and the faint scent of alcohol; the wristband he wore reminding him that he could get himself a drink, if he so wished - and the temptation did arise, as he considered taking the time to enjoy himself in the festivities. Getting the wristband hadn't been too hard either - it did not take any guessing to tell that he was an old hound, despite his Elemi blood making him more long-lived than most; his fur having a slight grey tinge to it, his eyes old and wise, and his general demeanor.
His bones did complain a little in the cold as well, given his age - but he paid it little mind, having learned to ignore the ache without any issue long ago. Instead, he would step up to join the gathering audience to wait for the music to start - when a murmuring feminine voice drew his attention. He glanced aside to spot - or, more appropriately, sense and note the scent of - a Saiyan woman approaching as well, and he couldn't help but note her nervous demeanor. He couldn't help but wonder if festivities or crowds weren't her thing - he knew that he didn't care much for them as much when he was younger, easily overwhelmed by all the stimuli. Though, the idea that someone wasn't having quite as good of a time as he was did sadden him a little - perhaps he'd offer some company, there was no harm in trying to make a new friend in this festival.
"Hello! This has been a nice festival, hasn't it, miss?" Andy would politely address her, smiling kindly as he approached. Even with his eyes obscured by his fur, his short tail - barely peeking out from under his long shirt - visibly wagging and his calm, friendly body language conveyed an amicable and social air about him. "I couldn't help but notice you seemed a little nervous, though. Is everything alright, if you don't mind me asking?" WC: 555

The journey to this world had taken its toll on the ship, having been over 400 years old which meant it barely made it to this planet. Scazic-Roo had not anticipated such a long trip either which left him quite literally tired, hungry and frustrated. Though the world was green, lush and housed many beings the Anubian did not quite understand, he was happy to be just present here currently. The festival was one he had never heard of before, one that celebrated scary things, sweets, and costumes to dress up in based on who knows what. This allowed Scazic to blend in quite well among-st all the strangely dressed beings that littered the place. During this current event there was some music being played in the distance which drew him to it. It was not at all unpleasant to listen to which was alluring in itself and soon Scazic found himself among-st many dancing individuals which in itself was confusing. The Anubian standing with his arms behind his back while he watched patiently, observing the whole scene as he tried to understand their culture and the reason for the dancing. He wanted to learn all he could about this world, which made this whole thing a prime time to do so. A few individuals bumping into him as the streets were packed causing Scazic to feel annoyed, but he supposed he had no reason to care truly. The place was filled with quite a lot of people, being bumped into was no reason to become hostile. So with that train of logic, he riled in his anger and calmed himself. It was when he had calmed down that he could sense ki among-st the crowd, not small bits of it but quite large power levels. He couldn't tell how strong they were, only that it was like an ice burg with only one part showing. He continued to stand stoic while he watched, the music blaring and those around him seeming to get even more excited. He wondered if he could truly learn where this festival originated from by being here, and if so if he would find it interesting to learn.

There was supposed to be a little bit of a party going on there and Corn decided not to skip the opportunity, of course, across multiple people, and all, in the end, he realized there were more than just earthlings but also some other species. It was a tad curious, honestly, maybe more than just one interesting scenario given all the past and blablabla— but it was cool.
He honestly didn’t mind the scenario: maybe he wasn’t all that accustomed to festivals, but he had heard a few things about them from a few people before he actually decided to jump in. Therefore, the Earthling Saiyan had made sure to prepare himself— how? Well, honestly, it was just a matter of dressing, apparently. As much as he would have just gone with his usual attire, they had also informed that apparently, Earthlings used to go with a formal, special kind of attire.
Admittedly, the uniqueness of this clothing was apparently attached to this tradition. So, it did intrigue Corn a bit and thought he’d give it a go. And that was how he managed to put on a robe darker than usual, followed by pretty light clothing that pretty much Corn at ease given his preference to a lighter wardrobe. Armor didn’t suit him, although it looked nice!
But, in the end, he pretty much put all to just that and— also a little bit of ki suppression. Honestly, he was not usually hiding his energy anymore, but, maybe just in case he’d have to take part in some physical activity; he honestly didn’t want to end up breaking something or stuff like that. So he ought it’d be better if he could hold himself back as hard as it could get before trouble would show up.
Oh, and also he was authorized to drink, apparently! Which, he had admittedly never gotten to before: too busy training and all that good stuff. And speaking of good stuff, it was as he wandered among the crowd that he happened to see the fluffy form of a peculiar hairstyle as Corn quite easily recognized it and had him smirked, light-hearted, he walked closer until he could rest his hand on her head briefly so that he could attempt and surprise her.
“Hey!” - exclaimed the man loudly, so that he could make his voice audible among the noise of the people but also in a hint of happiness for the Saiyan woman’s presence in the festival. “You should have called me! If I knew you were going to join in, I’d have definitely hit you up earlier— then again I don’t have a phone, though, but,” - he paused briefly and gazed at the girl as his hand had long slowly brushed down her hair before it returned to his side.
“Nice to see you here.”
Then, his attention shifted to the stranger— animal person, those were always among his favorite: Cervez was one of them. Then again, dude was kind of… an old God, kinda. But hey, still!
“Name’s Cornatto, buddy! Just call me Corn, though, put it there’!”
The man introduced himself with a smile and little politeness which was clashed by his overwhelming friendliness as he offered a hand for him to take.
The band soon began to play some music, the loud cords causing Tomo to wince at the noise as she brought her hand up to rub her ear as if someone had just struck her. That was incredibly loud and unnecessary! Where all earth bands so obnoxious!? Then again... its not like the Saiyans had music to begin with, so the whole concept was foreign to her. After a few more adjustments the music became much more tolerable and Tomo was about to turn and leave to find something less noisy when a furry creature walked up to her rather casually, asking her about the festival. She had to stop and blink a few times as she looked at the creature, never having encountered anything like him in her life time... or time in the after-life. Hell, she didn't even know what a dog was so couldn't even make that comparison. Was this an Earthling of some sort? she couldn't tell, but if the color of his fur was any indication, he must be pretty old...
"Oh uhm, yes it's been very nice so far... pretty different from anything I've ever been too." She began, smiling a bit when he asked what had her on edge, and she would just shake her head from side to side reassuringly.
"I'm fine... I've just never been to a 'festival' before, and Earthling culture is so different than Saiyans it's a bit of culture shock. Doesn't help that the last time I was on Earth was almost 20 years ago... hahahaha..." She laughed nervously, bringing her hand up to the back of her head as she was just dying to ask this creature exactly WHAT he was s she'd have a better understanding of how to address the situation... However, all of a sudden she felt a hand on her head, and her every instinct screamed for her to punch whoever was behind her. Her hand balled into a fist, but before she could swing it she heard Cornatto's voice and sighed heavily, relaxing visibly as she lifted her foot and stepped down n his none to gently, a huff on her features as she silently accused him of startling her.
"A little warning next time..! Sheesh... Don't you still have a scouter or something anyways..? I keep losing track of you." She huffed, about to reprimand him again when Cornatto instead turned to the strange creature and greeted him like they had been friends forever. He introduced himself and stepped in for a handshake, to which Tomo would just stand there with a raised eyebrow. Sometimes she forgot that Cornatto was an Earthling Saiyan... so these kinds of things were right up his alley.
"Oh... and I'm Tomoro-... Tomo, it's nice to meet you." She said awkwardly, glancing back towards the band as they all got acquainted. WC: 479 TWC: 859 Thread PL: 295,534 *supressed to 1,000PL*
Andy's ears would perk a little as the music began to play, and he would hum a little to himself - his fingertips gently tapping against his thigh along with the beat. Not his preferred type of music, but he still liked it, and he'd probably hang around to give it a good listen. When Tomo laughed nervously, he would chuckle along with her, and smiled warmly - reassuringly. "I understand that feeling, myself- I spent much of the past few years traveling, and seeing all sorts of different races and cultures, before I decided to return home." He would respond - and he was about to continue on, at least... Until Cornatto would make his appearance, in startling Tomo and the such.
Andy would blink a bit in surprise, but wouldn't question it - a friend, perhaps? Regardless, he had no problem with another person - and as Cornatto introduced himself, Andy would smile warmly and shake the other's hand, with a firm grip. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Corn. My name's Andy." He would introduce himself in turn - and when Tomo introduced herself as well, he would turn to offer a handshake to her next with a nod of acknowledgement. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Tomo."
At Corn's question though, he would perk a little, responding "Ah- I've mostly been just wandering, myself - though I was curious about the band when I saw the people gathering around here, so I thought I'd stop by and give it a listen." Chuckling gently, he'd add "I'm more one for the older-fashioned music myself, but I can appreciate newer styles too. How about you two?" He'd take another bite from his kabob, and cast a momentary glance towards the band on stage, seeing some of the others in the audience start getting into the groove. As he glanced though, he noticed an odd fellow - they seemed like another Zoanthrope, though their garb was a little strange. He'd wave to them nonetheless though, no harm in being friendly and polite. WC: 337 TWC: 892

The party soon kicked up with even more people showing up, this causing the area to feel compact. Scazic-roo was not one for crowded scenes however he soon spotted yet another person who looked of a similar species. Yet they were much more shaggy than the Anubian and even appeared more friendly than most of this people. The stranger waving over Scazic who decided to see what the person wanted at the very least. His frame moving between the crowd until he was present nearby to the one who waved him over. Now that he stood nearby he could see two others were accompanying the dog man. Scazic looked to each of them before returning his gaze to the individual who had waved him over. He was much like Scazic but he could tell that the man was not of Anubian decent, just look at the man's garb! He wasn't even dressed appropriately for their ancestry! This did not deter him from being polite however as he gave a courteous bow like any civil individual before smiling in a friendly manner.
"You waved me over? May I ask what you may want?"
Scazic asked, his tone friendly though he kept his arms behind his back as he was prone to doing. Hands in fists with the knuckles resting against the opposites arms elbow.
Tomoroko had prepared herself to strike already at the stranger; apparently his ‘attempt’ at amusing her did go well, given her startling reaction but did not quite grant the result he would have liked at first— but hey, that’s what was exciting about surprises, right? Then again, the moment she heard his voice, it was also the moment the girl pretty much settled her emotions and calmed down for it was just no stranger but someone she was quite familiar with— hopefully, she’d have appreciated the thought.
Little did he know that she was thinking about him a few moments earlier. Not that he would have any reasons to assume that in the first place, even though, he’d admittedly like it, after all. But, other than that, she looked pretty much in shape! And well, she did somewhat get on him, when it came to his frequency around her.
He chuckled softly and rested a hand on her shoulder, in a friendly apologize before his smile slowly grew into a smirk. “Okay, yeah, sorry! I admit it’s a bit hard to keep the tabs on me, but, well, if you wanted to spend more time with me, you only had to ask, you know,” - he replied before he shot a quick wink her way. “I am all in for that, by the way.”
Cornatto would have definitely enjoyed to hang out a little more with Tomo and he kind of believed she was also up for it; the one seemed to get along well enough, after all, right? So, that was gonna be something that Corn would have definitely looked forward to, absolutely!
“I am not sure about scouters…— Maybe I do have one. I need to dig it out, though! I’ll let you know, okay?”
The Earthling Saiyan later shook hands with the Zoanthrophe; a nice one and the other guy introduced himself as Andy. Corn also nodded his head in a quick motion a pair of times. It was cool to see some animal people around here— this guy had a little bit of power level, too, which was pretty sweet.
“Yeah, pleasure!”
The other also brought up the subject of music, in response to the black haired man’s question and pretty much specified his musical taste. Not that Corn could relate too much in the regard that he honestly rolled with whatever; probably because he was too busy training, but seriously he didn’t quite put any focus on a genre or all. He appreciated music as a whole; some of it could be exciting or relaxing— each hit was different!
At the arrival of the newcomer, the man did somewhat feel a sense of intrigue as his attire was one unique that he had seen only from three individuals before— the Gods of Destruction. However, he could feel his ki just fine, so he was apparently like Cervez or at least similar; but, hey, another guy joined them, so it wasn’t long before Corn also put a hand up in the air for him and waved over.
“Hey man! Join us, we’re all cool, don’t worry!”
Speaking of the band, though, Corn came up with a little question at the time, which might have been worth to answer.
“Hey, Tomo, did you ever try out dancing on this planet?— How about we go for a few rounds?”
"A traveller hunh? That must have been nice to see so many different worlds. All I've gotten to see in the last 20 years are souls and Mayuri's world! It was pretty cool at first but it really loses it's wow factor after two decades." She said with a smile towards the creature now known as Andy. He was really an interesting sort to the Saiyaness... strangely calm for a figure that might seem so wild. What was even more strange to her however, was the fact that everyone seemed to be getting along thus far... saiyans and earthlings alike.
'I know nothings happened but I still feel like we're going to get jumped at any second... was I always this anxious when I was alive..?' Tomoroko would think to herself as she took in a visible, deep breath to steel herself. It might seem odd to Andy, but it did help the saiyaness get a hold of herself and try to relax a little bit. She looked back towards Cornatto whenever he mentioned only having to say when she wanted to spend more time with him, even winking at her which caused Tomo to roll her eyes and cross her arms over her chest. The movement might have looked more intimidating if she wasn't wearing a Kimono...
"You mean I actually have to ask when I want to be around you? Sheesh, and here I thought my good looks were asking enough. Come on, it's not like you're usually with anyone right? Must get pretty boring~ I know it's been lonely as hell for me to travel alone here." She teased Cornatto, smirking slightly as she withheld the more cruel jokes that had come to mind. It had been quite some time since she'd really gotten to know Corn, so she wasn't exactly sure how much she could tease him before he took it too personally. She liked him, so the last thing she wanted was to end up insulting him. Like she needed anyone else to be upset with her right now...
She then glanced over towards the approaching Anubian and for a moment her blood ran cold. That outfit... while not exactly like that of Lord Lagerus, bore very similar symbols. She straightened up a little bit, her hands falling to her sides once more... This seemed,,, off. She could sense this Anubians energy? She had never been able to sense Lord Lagerus at all... Something about godly ki... so maybe he wasn't affiliated with the destroyer god after all? Maybe it was just a racial thing to wear those symbols...
'but then again... the Gods of Destruction from Universe 4 and 6 had their own symbols too' She thought to herself, unable to pry her eyes away from him...
"If you don't mind my asking... You wouldn't happen to know anyone by the name of Lagerus, would you?" Tomoroko finally asked him, interrupted though as Cornatto asked her if she'd ever tried out dancing on planet Earth before, to which the saiyaness finally looked away from the Anubian and back towards Cornatto.
"Dancing? You mean like... a fighting form? No, I haven't"

Andy would blink for a second as the Anubian approached and questioned him - ah, he didn't exactly intend to call Scazic over, though he supposed this was one way to invite someone to a discussion. He'd chuckle gently nonetheless, and with Cornatto's encouragement, Andy would nod. "Apologies, I only meant to say hello, though you are more than welcome to hang out with us - the more the merrier!" He mentioned - adding "I can't help but be a little curious though, I've never seen a Zoanthrope with clothes like those. May I ask your name? Where are you from?"
At Tomo's question of Lagerus, he would glance to her a little curiously - he had never heard of such a person, and was a little curious of who this mysterious Lagerus might be! Though, despite this curiosity, he wouldn't question her. It was none of his business really, and he was sure it was something he could figure out on his own time if he REALLY wanted to know. Either way though, she seemed a little uneasy, with the sudden chance in stance... "You alright?" He'd decide to check in gently, voice a little low - just making sure nothing was wrong that could ruin the night - it wouldn't do for the festival to be ruined for anyone!
Before long though, the question of dancing would come up - and Andy couldn't help a chuckle. "It's not a fighting form - though... I suppose it could be?" He would pause for a moment to ponder the thought - unable to help but mentally picture a break-dancing fighter. "It's more a fun pass-time, or some exercise, really." He would chuckle, and couldn't help but begin tapping his foot with the music, swaying side to side in a casual little jig of his own, adding "But some dancing does sound like fun, why not?" with a bright smile, "The music's perfect for it, anyhow!" WC: 317 TWC: 1209
Scazic would wave his hand dismissively as he smiled at the people around the table. He didn't really want to get to involved in everyone's affairs or really make friends. He was here to learn, socializing was not his specialty. When asked what he was doing here and being assumed a race he had never heard before the Anubian would simply chuckle before shaking his head. He didn't know how to respond to the question off hand before simply shrugging.
"I'm not from around here."
Was all he said and left it at that. Despite the warm reception he decided to wave good bye almost immediately. He could not waste time here and needed to learn more.
"Apologies but I do believe I am late to meet er... someone. If you will excuse me."
Scazic said before turning to leave and disappearing among-st the crowd.

The Earthling Saiyan gave a very little word in regards to himself being ‘lonely’, but in regards to her good looks, he didn’t seem to quite mind the teasing, but rather he just chuckled and smiled warmly at it. “No, like… not really, but, well— if you won’t hit me up, I might as well be the one sticking around you for a while! Good looks need to be taken care of or else they’re gonna get to waste, don’t you think?”
Tomoroko also threw out the card of ‘it getting quite lonely’, and god, it actually could. Especially now that Kabocha was somewhere out there and the old man had died and that was as much tragic as it could get, but hey, Tomo’s company would have been… no, he actually really wanted it!
“It’s a deal then!”
Then Tomo also went forth to ask about Lagerus, a dot which Corn had already connected previously but with Cervez. She almost didn’t seem too pleased to think about that individual, and Cornatto didn’t quite understand why but she might have had her reasons; although the stranger pretty much left shortly after he joined, so there was that.
But, the woman also went on with her preciousness to describe dancing as a ‘fighting form’. The Earthling chuckled and nodded, he had almost forgotten that they were different when it came to culture, but basically, she could have been right.
“Well, yeah. You could technically show off fighting moves in dancing, but, it’s more like...—something people indulge in, they just… move their bodies together in rhythm to music! And hold hands, all that stuff; mates do it a lot. Kind of everyone does it, though.”
The man in kimono smiled towards Andy and nodded. “Sorta like that!”
Then he reached out towards Tomo with a hand. “You up for it? Or you want to try the drinks? I heard they’re tough stuff, though!”
'At least Lagerus has more manners' Tomoroko thought to herself with a slight puff of her cheeks as she watched the Anubian excuse himself. While he wasn't rude in his exit, he showed absolutely no interest in staying with them or even introducing himself which only led to the woman's further suspicion. If he was somehow related to Lagerus though, surely she would find out sooner than later... Hopefully before someone pissed him off and he chose to ruin the festival.
It didn't seem to dampen anyone's mood though, and so she let it slip by, paying it no further thought and instead turning back to Andy and nodding as he tried to explain dancing to her. It still didn't make sense... a fun pass time? Wait... what was he doing? He was moving his body suddenly in such strange ways, moving with the beat of the music but in no way did those movements make any logical sense. She just stared with an eyebrow raised, only taken out of her judgmental stare by Cornatto as he too tried to explain it better, reaching his hand out towards her...
"That doesn't make any logical sense Cornatto... I don't know... I don't think I can move my body like that..." She stated but took his hand anyways, a light flush brushing her cheeks at the thought of making herself move the way Andy was. It seemed so strange... maybe it would jsut be better for them to go for some drinks instead? but then... maybe this wouldn't be so bad. A pang of guilt stabbed into her chest, making her feel like she lost her breath completely for a moment... but she tried to not let anyone see that...
Andy would smile a bit sheepishly when Tomoroko responded to his sudden dancing with a judgemental-looking eyebrow raise, though he began chuckling softly nonetheless - otherwise untroubled by her judgement. He couldn't help but ponder though, did Saiyans not dance a lot? That's the impression he got at least, with how confused Tomoroko appeared - though Cornatto seemed to know what dancing was, if his own explanation implied anything. Was it that they were from different cultures, then? Well, regardless, he would smile more cheerily in response to Cornatto's own smile and nod, and would start to get more into the dancing; idly clapping with the beat as he moved and swayed about. There was no harm in getting caught up and having some fun!
He'd, in fact, mention it to Tomoroko when she expressed uncertainty; grinning and laughing jollily as he encouraged "There's no harm in trying anyways; worst comes to worst, someone has a tumble or one of us steps on someone's toes, and we can all just laugh it off and enjoy ourselves some other way in the end. It's always good to try new things and expand your horizons, though!" Andy would lift his fur to wink humorously at Tomoroko, adding with a hint of joking around "An old grandpa like me would know, haha!" Though, even with all the talk of dancing, having a drink didn't sound too bad. He might even have something, after they were done dancing - though maybe he'd stick to something light; he didn't want to get himself too inebriated! "You'll get the hang of it though, just do what comes naturally with the beat, follow your friend's moves, or look at the moves everyone else is doing." Andy would suggest to Tomoroko; wanting to encourage her to enjoy this and try something new in the process. WC: 304 TWC:1513
