Yardrats
Starting Planet: Free Space
Starting Power: 2800
Appearance:
Yardrats are a small and physically weak race of pink, bulbous head aliens. They usually have splotches of blue or purple on the tops of their heads. The number of blotches on their heads typically say how old they are as they become more numerous with age. Wrinkles develop on their bald heads. They form whiskers at an early age that grow off the side of their face like catfish. They have ears resembling that of what you might expect elves might have. They only have a set of 3 fingers on each hand and two toes unlike most bipeds. These little suckers can live up to several centuries with elders of the planet currently being 600-ish years old. It's no wonder either, what with the race's natural affinity towards space time.

Their garbs are iconic red turbs with a white undershirt under a black spacemail. Due to the nature of their mostly isolated planet this has gone mostly unchanged with only upgrades to the same design over the course of thousands of years.
Yardrats are unable to copulate with most other races due to their bend in time and unusual biology. Certain unstated races may have the capability to, but almost any established race has no chance with yardrats.
Background:
Yardrats originate on the planet of Yardrat. Naming the planet aptly after themselves. Much like the history of Earthlings, they remained the one and only intelligent life on their planet. Being out on a solarsystem with the couple of planets and a dwarf star very close by, the place would remain isolated with no visitors having found it.

The species's prowess in space time manipulation was found out by early scientists working under the rule of the yardrat Kings. The head king of the time had discovered a strange anomaly with some of his offspring and gave the scientists something to look into. It's still to this day unexplained as to how they got it, rather the scientists insist that it's just there for a reason.
In a nearly identical instance, the ability to "release" themselves and transform their minds to better react and act is an art discovered as a result of finding this all out. The early kings wanted to see this to it's fullest but over time they had become less worried with power and worried instead with knowledge. Those who did continue release arts were designated as warriors for the people in the case of any future threat.
The Yardrats are a fairly isolationist society, although a few of them have signed up to join the Galactic Patrol in search of justice!
Unique Characteristics:
Transmission: Yardrats are naturally adept in the use of time manipulation, often using it to seemingly teleport short distance. Without the need to use a tech slot, they gain the ability to flash around in battle naturally.
[They get a "[SST-1] Combat Transmission" ability without using a tech slot. This functions as an Dodge SPECIAL (which can be upgraded at Level 2 and 3).
Instant Travel: Yardrats can use this racial to teleport once a month towards a location, so long as they have a specific individual to lock onto with Ki Sense!
Mind over Body: Yardrats are not that powerful, in fact they are considered a weak species. But their power lies in the usage of their techniques! [Once per level - they can use a +5x to their defensive PL in using a ST!]
Transformations:
Base - This is the standard level of power for most Yardrats. [x3 PERM]
Release - The permanent state of power is uncommon for a yardrat to possess. Powerful yardrats who achieve this are usually upheld within their society. Again, It wasn't until the reign of Frieza that the transformation came to be. Little changes in this form occur physically, though mentally everything becomes hardwired to be fast and super calculative. {Requires [SU1] Ki Suppression. 90k+} [x10 PERM]
Yardrat Master- The permanent state of power is only whispered about in Yardrat legends. They have become acquainted with their abilities and are truly a force to be reckoned with. {Requires 160k PL.} [x20 PERM]
Super Yardrat - In order to go even further beyond, a yardrat must enhance their meager size to compensate for their lack of physical prowess. In addition to the Time Keepers Form, a Time Master is bulked and a more sizable foe, extending their normal heights and abilities. {Requires [SU1] Bulking. 275k+} [x30 PERM]
God Asteria - Yardrats become one with their new form, the more buff Time Master look sticking to them like peanut butter with jelly. They ought be considered gods now, rightfully so. They gain a radical glow of their eyes and are granted a singular large blotch on their head over the normal many blotches. {Requires. 400k+} [x45]
