Appearance: Deluvians appearances can range from something closely similar to humans to something just a little further to humans and more close to their ‘animal form’. Alternatively they can be an overall blend of the two forms, resembling their animal but in an anthropomorphic state. Their hair or fur colors can be pretty much anything natural with some unnatural exceptions such as bright red or purple, sometimes blue. In their animal form however they simply appear as whatever animal is in question. Though, certain traits from their previous form will carry over such as scars, tattoos, or other markings. Stronger and or wiser Deluvians are known to develop traits that make their animal form distinct from the rest of their tribe or pack, those observing these changes might call it an evolution.
Background: Not much is known about the origin of the Deluvians, other than what is observed from their planet’s atmosphere by curious and more advanced species. Currently these observations have shown the Deluvians to resemble a mixture of nomadic tribes and ancient civilizations in overall culture and mannerisms. The Deluvian's seem to vary technologically as well, though they show no signs of having access to the kind of tech one would typically consider common by modern standards (Technology ranges from tribal to medieval in real world standards). Deluvians aren't at all welcoming to people from off planet, which is to be expected when most of the time they aren't even welcoming to each other.
Unique Characteristics:
Slow Aging - Deluvians stay at their peak for longer than most other races. Even in their old age they can stay in their peak physical and mental state for an impressively long time. They don't live for hundreds or thousands of years, but it takes a fair bit longer before they start to.. degrade. [The life expectancy for a Deluvian is around a hundred and twenty years, but they remain 'fresh' well into their hundreds and it isn't until the near end of their lives that they start to get old and icky.]
Technophobic - Deluvian tradition and lack of intelligence in some of the kingdoms or tribes leaves Deluvians either afraid or unsure of how to use a lot of the advanced technology in the universe. [Deluvians suffer a -x2 offensive modifier against androids, bio-androids, Tuffles, and Metalmen.]
Primordial Shape: Every Deluvian has an animal transformation that determines their advantages and disadvantages in and outside of combat. Their animal shape also defines where they come from and how powerful or wise they are. [Choose one upon creation in parenthesis by race name. Cannot be changed without a Dragon Ball wish. This unique trait makes them unable to hybridize. They may breed with other races, but Deluvian genetics will always override anything else.]
Aviary: If it can fly, it is or can be Aviary. [Free PT-1 Flight. 20% speed to a tech once per level.]
Beast: If it moves on land, it is or can be a Beast. [Free PT-1 Bulking. 20% power to an offensive tech once per level.]
Aquatic: If it can breathe underwater, it is or can be Aquatic. [Free PT-1 Speed Bulking. 20% self-heal once per level.]
Transformations:
Dread Howl - A Deluvian under great distress can fall under the control of their animal form especially under the influence of the Solar Eclipse. Giving in to their primal urges turning them against friend and foe alike but gaining a great bit of power in exchange. Deluvians are forced into their animal form while in this state. Their animal form would fit the demonic representation of their respective creature. [Requires Celestial Event. x10 During Solar Eclipse.]
Primal Instincts - Deluvians become closer with their animal instincts, achieving higher levels of focus in combat and allowing their gut to lead them with great results. [x8 at 60k]
Dire Attunement - A Deluvians animal form becomes larger in size while the human form gains more features associated with their inner animal. [x16 at 160k]
Primal Suppression - Deluvians are, for the most part, still animals. At younger ages and or without proper training they rely mostly on their instincts. Deluvians that have reached this point have become even closer to being more attuned towards their human nature. By the time an average Deluvian can get to this point they are more than likely at the top if not over the hill in terms of age. [270k x24 Requires [PT-1] Ki Suppression]
Empathy Link - A Deluvian on this path can rely more on the bonds they form with allies. Forming links that give them strength in combat and out. [340k x32 Requires [PT-1] Telepathy]
First Paragon - This is the peak form of the Deluvian species. The Deluvian can maintain full control of them self while in animal form meaning they can think clearly and those that master this form may even be able to speak and form coherent sentences in animal form. [450k x46]
