Chapter One: Beginning
Cold, the wind brushed against the side of his neck as he sat in the bush line, waiting as he watched.
He could spot Anima's red hair shining from one of the nearby tree branches as they looked down toward the trap. They had been hunting this creature for a couple of days now, intending to bring it back to the village for the town's stock and supply. Sine could only stand there, hidden in the bush line as he watched the dinosaur like creature begin to approach the rope trap. The carcass of another creature sitting next to the trap as the dinosaur approached ever closer. As the rope hanging from the tree began to tense from the sudden immense force applies to it, Sine began to hear the sudden and slight sound of a bow string being pulled back. He would begin to look towards her in utter fright, mouthing to not do it, not just yet.
The last thing he felt himself doing in this short instance, was the whoosh of an arrow as he watched it fly past him, straight into the trigger for the trap. A loud roar erupted from the dinosaur like creature as it shrieked in the air. Sine could only continue to mutter as he got himself up from the bush. The thwip of the bow string shooting back repeatedly one after another, the bright red arrows sticking out from the creature's side as Sine pulled out a jian styled blade, his form moving quickly as he raised the blade, pointed toward the creature as he raised it further past his shoulder. A green energy seeped out of him, his ki as he tapped into his own energy like the master had instructed him. It was similar to feel a balloon of energy just pop in an instant, one moment, he felt himself still in the same spot, but the next and he found himself moving fast, extremely fast.
There was a sudden jab as he felt the inital recoil to come as his blade made contact with the scales of the creature. The force exerted from his speed easily allowing the sharp blade to pierce through. What was to come next only felt natural to Sine, from the many previous hunting attempts to have come before this. He began pulling downward as the blade sliced through, immediately severing the head of the creature from its body as Sine came to a kneel in front of one of the trees. A few moments would pass as he began to take a deep breath in. "Was that really necessary Anima, you know more of its pack will be coming now...", Sine would begin to voice as he looked towards the movement in the treeline. A humanoid would lean from the branch upside down as some of their red hair fell down, gravity pulling it to the ground as she hung there. "What? Lighten up a bit, not a like a little fun never hurt anyone.", Anima would begin to joke around as she would let go from the branch. She would brush her red hair back as she began to prep the next arrow. The roar of the other pack members of the dinosaur beginning to roar in the background. "Lighten up? You act like I'm not excited...", Sine would begin to tease back as he wiped the red liquid off his blade, preparing for this next fight.

Clockwork. That was all that could describe Banza's constant scouring of Sadal's surface day after day as he waited for Rutaba's eventual return. How long had it been at this point? Well, that was hard to say. But even still he continued his patrols, an ever working machine. This day was the same as all the others in this regard.
His scanning picked something interesting up this time, though. A power level not to sneeze at even among the vastly powerful Saiyan race. It was one he was unfamiliar with, at that. Seeing as there wasn't anything else interesting to check in on, and his communications with the SDF were silent for the time being, he was free to actually look into this.
It didn't take him very long, but soon enough the android was flying high above the location that his scanners were picking up the power signature. Gazing down upon what seemed to be two figures in the midst of some sort of hunt, he couldn't help but watch diligently as some sort of unseeable ghost in the skies as they quickly dispatched a single dinosaur. They seemed to be using tools of some sorts... things that he as a machine didn't have much need for, but he knew that Rutaba liked such tools himself, especially the one the male was using, a sword he believed? Perhaps it was common for men to think alike in using such a sharp blade.
Nonetheless, it appeared that they weren't safe just yet. With how easy they dispatched the previous beast, perhaps more would be no issue as well? It was his job to protect people, but they might not even need the help, and he was quite curious. With that in mind, Banza lowered himself slowly onto a branch near the hunting duo to watch intently. He didn't exactly conceal himself, he was standing in plain sight up in the trees. His lack of energy did more than enough for him anyways, he had no need to hide. Nor did he feel that he was in any danger if some beast or this duo found him standing there. It seemed that Kombu lacked a good to acceptable reason for being out and about around the Outlands of Sadal. He finished his days duties, cleaned his quarters and ensured a good sum of his to do list activities were well and done. Crossed off of his list and set to rest. Normally, Defense Force members such as himself oft found themselves loitering about the taverns and corners of Sadal's Capital City doing whatever they did. Be it drink to a job well done, visit family they may not have had contact with within the last moments they've been working or what have them. It was kind of rare that any Soldier would willingly bring themselves to the Outlands for any reason other than to fight or maybe train or even set up camp for their own small expeditions and nature-side, if you could even call it that, camping trips. No, it seemed Kombu was simply out and about because he truly lacked abything better to do than explore his homeworlds insides and outs. Thus, the Outlands were perfect. Usually barren of life, save the animal life and whatever plant life survived, Kombu wasn't exactly expecting himself to find another living soul; or a pair of living souls, besides his own.
Funny. It truly was unbeknownst to him, but Kombu had decided to take up on the same strategy, or plan of action, that the hidden Banza had elected to lean towards. He decided maintaining a somewhat respectable distance from the pair, Anima and Sine was for the best. He saw them take that animals life out pretty efficiently. But, it was more than possible that more of its kind could appear and completely blindside them. So, as soldier and member of the Sadalian Defense, who was he NOT to wait and defend when he was most needed? If nothing did end up happening though, he would have gladly descended from the skies and introduced himself as properly as he could. Because....well, why not? Who was it really helping? He was wearing his uniform, more or less, anyway. So it'd be nearly impossible to mistake him for a foreigner; Unless these two were foreigners or just straight up non-Capital City citizens themselves..!WC: 374 Sine Nomine

Chapter One: Beginning
A day like this couldn't be any better than it already was, maybe that's why it felt special.
Sure there were about to be plenty of dinosaurs coming soon to try and tear them both to pieces, but they haven't been training with the Master all these years for nothing. No he was certain that they could handle this together. Once they did they could both head back to the village and drop off the rewards of this hunt. As he stood to the back of Anima he began to rear up his blade, a steady show of force present in the stance as the last of red dripped off from its blade. Turning his head towards her, Sine would watch as Anima reached toward her back and pulled an arrow from the quiver. The bowstring would be pulled back tightly as the arrow was locked at the ready. His gaze returned to his blade as he looked to the shine reflecting from it. They could do this.
It was then that the ground started to shake, the duo continued to hold their ground as the heavy forces of the footsteps shook the landscape, their stampede approaching the wooded area closer and closer as they would slam into the sides of some of the tree logs, knocking a few down in the process as they roared at the duo. Both Anima and Sine raised their weapons as they moved in tandem, Sine would come in for a slide as he held his blade above him, flat. Anima running behind him would come from above as she took a step up and launched herself off the flat of the blade into the air. The raptor looked upward at the sailing figure as they unloaded an arrow right into its right eye. The creature let out a roar in pain as the arrow stuck out of its eye.
Sine wasn't just on standby, he was moving to take advantage of the first one's distraction. He would swipe his blade to his right as he began to charge his energy into his blade. A green aura glowing from him as it sparked out, unrefined as it held the unstable energy. His body would flow sluggishly at first before his movements were followed by trails of light..."Flash....Blitz!", he would yell out as he a green trail remained of what was to be visible. The first trail sweeped through the tail, the second and third cutting through it's undersides. An unprepared Sine would stumble out of his speed boosted attacks as he rolled forward. "Still need to work on that landing....", he would begin to say as he heard the raptor screech from the loss of its tail to all the other injuries it had been recieving from these humanoids. The pain didn't last much longer once Anima came down on its back...jamming two of her arrows into the sides of its neck. "Stay alert Sine...More are coming!"
It seemed, that in the time he had taken interest in these two hunters, that another of his kin would also take notice and come in close. That was to say... a member of the SDF, rather than an Android. One of his eyes lit up a soft blue as an unnoticeable pulse went out of his body to sweep the area to pick up power signatures, immediately rebounding to him with the power of this new entrant. They were... fairly strong, much stronger than just any Saiyan for that matter. If anything went awry, he'd probably wouldn't even be needed in this situation.
That didn't cause him to leave, however. His interest was there for far more reasons than just to look out for these two hunters and their wellbeing.
Time passed quite quickly after that, the Android gazing and watching over the hunters as they quickly dispatched of yet another raptor. These things hardly had a chance but at the same time, the slaying of the entire pack was coming quite slow. If both of these hunters were going to have to team up to take them down one by one, then they may very well get overwhelmed eventually.
Rubbing the back of his head, the android decided that he was sitting there watching them for far too long as it was. He'd make no attempt to take what was rightfully their hunt even if he ended up needing to help out. Besides, he was an artificially created being... taking food was hardly a concern of his.
He'd slowly levitate off of the tree branch he was standing atop of so gently, dropping himself off by the two hunters with hardly a sound outside of the small thud of his body touching the ground. "You two seem to be ever so slightly outnumbered... care for assistance?" he spoke as if he had ever so casually stumbled into this situation but... he knew what was going on. He had watched more than enough to actually see what was going on and not sound so, flat. And there was that too... how his voice was oh so flat and uncaring. It could even come off as if he didn't even want to help and was just doing it out of showing up. That wasn't the case, though. He was just always like this.
After Banza finished speaking, he'd raise his right hand up with his fingers in the shape of a pistol. If these two even knew what a firearm was. A simple glance in the raptors direction was all he'd give then, as he waited for a response. There wasn't much more for him to do but react if these two even cared for help. He could always just continue watching anyway. WC: 463 TWC: 821
