Turrel gave a peaceful whistle as he walked through the out lands of Sadala. It was normal for the silence to kill off the world around Turrel, however today was a special day as he grinned widely holding a sack over his shoulder with his right hand. His lean but strong biceps holding the rucksack looking bag in place with every step he took through the desolate plains. Nothing in the sack resembled anything special: A few flasks of water, matches, and blanket. That was all within the sack as Turrel ventured out what seemed like miles on foot until sand and stone pillars began sprawling up from the ground.
This was Turrels normal training ground. One he had gotten quite comfortable with since nobody tended to show up unannounced. Turrel walked with an average pace through the pillars before stepping past torn and obliterated pillars scattered around the area. The pillars Turrel was able to destroy were rather small compared to average Saiyan's his age. The being so Turrel never lost hope as he continued walking over the chunks of sandy rocks scattered about his path as he looked forward. The pillars seemed to change drastically, going from rather small think stone pillars to almost full sized structured towered.
The only thing that set the pillar apart from a tower was the lacking of doors and windows. Turrel took a deep breath in realizing the massive natural structure letting his teeth grind together in anticipation. Clenching his fists tightly Turrel stared towards the sand stone intensely before shifting his arm and hip simultaneously putting every ounce of his strength into a single punch. Unfortunately for Turrel his efforts didn't seem to be baring fruits as instead of a tipping pillar he was shown a pillar baring only a small puncture from Turrels hand with blood covering the center.
Quickly Turrel's head snapped down towards his hand realizing the cut he'd received. Nothing serious, but something to be laughed at given the situation Turrel was in. With a deep sigh Turrel took a seat on the sand below him throwing his hands behind him as he stared towards the bright blue sky "Well that was for nothing" Turrel complained as he let his arms fold and his back falling against the ground lightly as he lazily laid upon the sand and stone as if he just lost a fight to a rock. Wondering if there was any way he could actually achieve something of himself. Turrel gritted his teeth with his thoughts.
He wanted progress more than anything else, however given his genes it seemed as though his parents only had the potential to produce lower quality Saiyans to the population. Turrel seemed to growl almost animalistically at his thought process knowing full and well he had no choice but to train twice as hard as everyone else, however lacked the time and effort to do such a thing like raise his battle potential, since a serious fight might leave him either dead, or unable to eat and gain some sort of currency. Turrel sat there deep in thought the occasional growl coming from his mouth here and there as he relaxed and seemed to let all his guard training fail him.
Patrolling was about the best that Banza could do on days like this. He wasn't called in for anything just yet and even though he wasn't capable of feeling much boredom, it all felt so empty. Unbeknownst to him, he was about to stumble on something that entirely turned what this little place was on its head.
Using his scanners, Banza felt a fair power level all by itself. It was unusual to sense something so... lonely. But at the same time, it could be suspicious. The android quickly turned his focus in the direction of this power and jettisoned himself straight towards it. He halted himself fairly fast to make his approach quieter, alongside his unsensable energy output he was the perfect stealth unit. He'd perch himself up on a nearby pillar that was away from what appeared to be a random Saiyan.
He laid himself low to the pillar, staring at the man as he... punched a different pillar. What exactly was this man up to? It seemed to be a fruitless task ask the pillar actually seemed to draw blood from the Saiyan who soon appeared to give up, defeated. That was a sad sight... to see the willpower fade so fast. Soon enough the sound of complaining and irritation was set upon the androids ears as he just contemplated to himself about this whole situation. Banza didn't know this guy... but he wasn't doing anything either. Why was he even still here watching? This guy was perfectly upstanding and the officer android should just move on.
At least, thats what went through his head for those moments. But the occasional growling coming from this disheartened Saiyan really tug at something deep within Banza. Perhaps it was his Saiyan programming to fit in with those he was around, or the fact that he was a peacekeeper and helper of the people at design, but he really wanted to help this guy.
Pushing himself up into a standing position, Banza would quickly cup his hands around his mouth, becoming the very unannounced guest that wasn't meant for this place. "Hey, you. Seems like you could use a partner." the android called out to this man, quickly hopping off of the pillar to start walking towards the Saiyan who seemed so... distraught. He didn't want to just take advantage of this guy even though he obviously could have launched a quick sneak attack to throw him into a fighting sense right away.
Banza stopped a couple of feet away from the man, smirking and crossing his arms as he continued on. "You can only get so far punching at stone. You'll get a lot farther fighting another person. I'll even give you the first shot." Banza goaded the man on. He knew it was ironic to talk about fighting stone when he was nothing more than a construct himself, but he also knew that it was true. The android certainly knew that he shouldn't actually fight seriously with this person back, it was more just to give him a target to go all out against. Their gap was far too big for a full-on brawl together but it was perfect for a training session. He looked like he needed one. WC: 541 Offensive/Defensive PL:[29,713 Base (Unsenseable)]
The words Turrel muttered would echo through his head continuously as he laid in his comfortable position, unannounced to him another power level was coming. Turrel lacking the ability to sense Ki seemed not to even stir. Truth be told the Saiyan was rather comfortable laying on the smooth sandstone earth. As if connected to the ground and not trying to sever the connection Turrel would be noticed by the foreign entity as it announced it's presence. Screaming loudly within the area let the words echo around both the men as he spoke of being a partner of sorts.
Turrel slowly began to lift himself as the man spoke. It was pretty average for Saiyans to fight on Planet Salada, however the out-lands probably wasn't the best place to meet a stranger. All the same Turrel gritted his teeth in anticipation to see what the man would do. Something odd caught Turrels eye as the man didn't seem to be completely on the offensive, instead leaping down from the pillar he stood upon. Turrel wasn't the smartest Saiyan, but he did know the higher ground was important when it came to fights. Turrel seemed to blink a bit set back by the mans demeanor. Typically the people Turrel met would do anything to win clawing and gnawing away at their enemies to reach greater heights. Turrel immediately assumed this man was different, a misfit of sorts on Planet Salada, nay the Universe in it's entirety, or was that just how Turrel's mindset was?
Turrel gave a grunt as the man stopped. Choosing to position himself a mere couple of feet from Turrel. In a instant Turrel began to size up his opponent instantly noticing the black hair and eyes before the boy, or man began to speak. Turrel dawning his Saiyan armor looked towards the man whose height matched his own staring into the eyes of the new arrival. Turrel raised a brow as the man spoke. Although he wasn't entirely wrong he seemed to have a different perspective when it came to training. This put Turrel into a passive aggressive mindset as he allowed his lips to part for the first time since the man had arrived.
"Alright stranger let me explain something to you" Turrel said with a growl "Stone pillars don't punch back, They don't move, and most importantly they don't hold grudges" Turrel explained with a colder tone as his eyes rolled a bit. Turrel would give a pause before continuing "If I were to hit you. I'd assumed I'd be further to something other than power" Turrel said with the calmest tone he could muster. He was rather angry at the man, however being the weakest on the food chain for so long made Turrel a bit more of a defensive Saiyan a bit too laid back, or scared to participate in a actual scrap.
"I'd rather nap easily than nap with a beaten up face" Turrel explained finally "I guess I'll be a bit more direct" Turrel said with a defeated sigh "I'm what you'd call the lowest of the low, or a low level warrior" Turrel explained with a simple shrug "Even if you're the same tier Saiyan as me I'd still probably lose" Turrel said before a smirk conjured itself upon his face "Then again" Turrel trailed off into a bright smile "I might fight you, but only if you can bring me some good food. You can't really find much to eat around here after all" Turrel explained extending his hands as if to show off the desolate area to the newcomer. He didn't really want to fight with someone who wouldn't even announce their name on entrance. Since it was more suspicious than Turrel was willing to risk, well at least not right off hand, and so he awaited the fellow mans answer with a display of determined patience.
Banza's attempts at a friendly spar seemed to be falling on misunderstanding ears of someone who probably wasn't the most trusting of such a situation. That was honestly fair... but the Android had no real reason to push on with aggression, and rather crossed his arms in a way that left him hardly guarded. He nodded a bit as the man growled and spoke more. For the most part, Banza remained silent so that this Saiyan could actually speak in full without any interruptions.
With his eyes growing wider as the man's words came to a close, Banza would sigh and let his arms drop to his side. "I understand your concern... I should explain a bit more." the way he spoke was colder now, trying to be a lot more official as if he wanted to let the other Saiyan know that he wasn't kidding around. "I... am an android. I don't exactly eat, so I can't speak from experience. But if you really require food I could search for something that may be a delicacy somewhere? I can't speak from experience on the true quality." this was about as blunt as Banza could get. It would be easy to go check for the highest rated food place on Sadal, and order whatever was the most popular off of the menu, but that was letting others decide! Banza couldn't just let that lack of quality control happen.
"That aside, I'm not here to fight you, I am offering myself up as a partner for you to train yourself with. Your sounds of despair hit me in an odd way and I couldn't just sit around and watch. You could say that I want to help you?" now that Banza was talking about something more on the sympathy side of things, his cold voice dropped for a more relaxed and casual tone, though it was still fairly flat and unwavering in any way. But at the same time... Banza understood that this could sound like a total lie, but there wasn't much this other Saiyan could do in this situation if he wanted to get away, if the android did have intentions on hurting him.
"I want you to fight me, but it doesn't have to be the other way around. If you'd rather I not, I won't even lay a finger on you. And even if I do... I'll do my best not to hurt you much, fair?" Banza tried his best at giving the man a smile. He really didn't want to go grab this man food... but at the same time he wouldn't turn down the proposition if he really had to. Ultimately he wanted to give this Saiyan a hand. Banza had no qualms with his current power so raising it for himself wouldn't feel like much. Helping this person on the other hand? Was actually an accomplishment. WC: 482 TWC: 1,023
Turrel finished speaking, and oddly enough the man didn't chime in at all to what he had said waiting patiently until he was certain it was his turn to speak. Turrel thought of this as a rather respectable action since he had no ill will towards the man, and had little to no intentions of fighting him at first glance. Turrel knew nothing of the man for one aside from the familiar features to that of a Saiyan which meant he could either be there to beat on him, or actually guide him. The latter in which didn't happen often to Turrel, if at all in his life.
Just as the man did Turrel awaited his turn to speak, although taken back by the sudden explanation behind being an android. It was a very cold sort of tone, as if warning but also explaining himself. Turrel understood all and well that he couldn't really enjoy food being a bit of a robot and all. Turrel gave a nod to this and his lips parted. After the Android would finish his first two verses of speech Turrel would chime in. Hoping not to cut the man off in the process.
"Well I have some water maybe that'll work" Turrel said almost with a mumble at this point. He'd paid attention to the man, but he wasn't in the position to speak yet since he wasn't sure if the man was done with what he had to say. Soon enough Turrel heard the man speak up again paying him the respectable attention as Turrel gave a calm and collective smile towards the man. The man didn't seem all that bad, at least from the words he said he didn't. With no ill intent as it seemed he just wanted to help the younger Saiyan out. Turrel thought for a moment not sure how to respond as he spoke up once more.
Turrel listened the the rest of the mans comments. It was a bit odd how far he was going to train Turrel, and this caused Turrel to sigh. "Hey listen" he said with a calm tone raising his right hand and rubbing the back of his head "I'm not sure you understand me" he said calmly walking to his bag and opening it. Quickly he pulled a silver flask from the bag pulling the lip off. "Saiyans need food and water to survive. I've been out here for hours and it's not exactly the best weather" Turrel explained giving his sliest excuse before putting the flask in his bag and walking towards the man giving them both around a fifteen foot gap between the two.
"I'll fight you, but I'm not going to ask you to hold back" Turrel explained spreading his feet apart a bit his hands moving as if they contained a large globe between them. "And I'm certainly not going to tell you to be my punching bag" Turrel shot back once more "Now that I have something in my system, how about you give me a shot" Turrel said with a calm, yet excited look on his face. Feeling a mass amount of pleasure building to be able to fight someone other than the typical brute Saiyan.
Banza could do nothing but blink a bit as this man responded in regards to food and drink. It made sense if this man was starving or overly thirsty. Perhaps it wasn't about what he brought him, and more about if he'd bring him anything at all. Perhaps it would be a kind gesture to bring him something after they were done. He knew that Saiyan's appetites were outstanding but their fighting sense as also quite intense. For the time being, however, it seemed like the Saiyan had himself covered at least in regards to thirst. Food could come later.
The man then went on to say that he wasn't asking Banza to hold back. The Android knew far too well that it wouldn't end well if he started to fight the Saiyan all-out, but luckily for him, it appeared that no device could read his power nearby. Banza closed his eyes, forcing his power to drop dramatically till it was just a bit above the Saiyan's. His eyes soon opened back wide as he'd smile and drop into a fighting stance. "I certainly wouldn't plan to be a punching bag. Now let's see what you can do."
A few silent moments passed where Banza sized up the Saiyan across from him, before he'd push off and launch himself towards Turrel at respectable fighting speed. Once the fairly small gap between the two of them was closed, Banza aimed his fist to try and connect with Turrel's chest. With the current gap of power between the two, it seemed to be a fairly average punch that shouldn't be too much to handle for the opposing Saiyan. All Banza had to do was hope that this would just be the start of their little training session. With any luck, this could go on for quite a while. Turrel gave soft breaths as the other man got into his fighting stance. He could tell the man was finally getting serious after all the speaking the two had done. Although it was Turrels fault for the most part he couldn't exactly fight someone he had just met, at least not in his right mind that is. The fact he allowed Turrel to grab a drink was reason enough to believe the man wasn't interested in cheap shooting, at least not for the moment that was. Turrel listened to every word the man had to say, even if he didn't have much to speak which seemed to be the case. His comment left Turrel with a calm smirk across his face.
"I just assumed it's what you meant by not punching back" Turrel said in the moment of silence his normal gaze turning serious watching every move his opponent would take. The man seemed to take a different approach it seemed as he lunged forward unlike most Saiyans Turrel had seen before. Luckily Turrel still managing to hold his stance watched at the man ran towards him.
Quickly Turrel threw up a guard knowing he wasn't going to get off the first hit, and with a loud thud the Android's fist would meet Turrels guard roughly. Turrel not knowing much at all about fighting a Android quickly Spun his body with all his strength turning three hundred and sixty degrees as he attempted to land a devastating around the world axe kick into the opponent's neck, however it'd only work if the person stayed in position and would leave him wide open with his already pained wrists throbbing.

The fight was on! In the moments that blazed immediately after Banza initated battle, the opposing Saiyan seemed to have blocked his strike. That was good, he could certainly work with this. Neither of them seemed to be wasting much time though as Banza immediately had to make an evasive maneuver under his opponent's kick that was immediately flying straight towards the more vital areas of his upper body.
Working with a suppressed energy output certainly made the fight feel like it was moving much faster. Rarely could the android operate with such boundaries, he had to stay at optimal fighting capacity against opponents who were trying to kill him. This was... nice, to say the least. Being able to just have a casual training session with someone who seemed passionate about their own growth.
With his neck seemingly safe from a powerful blow, Banza had efficient time to shift into a sweep kick that was meant to knock Turrel over onto the ground with any luck. Of course, a lot of people knew how to fly. But Banza was just trying to get into the motions of raw combat at this point! The fluid motion of a good fight was always going to be a higher priority in something like this. Whatever it took to keep them constantly moving.
That was all Banza could do for the time being, all he could do was see how Turrel reacted to everything he was doing. WC: 244 TWC: 1,573 Techniques: Basic Dodge (10%): A basic evasive maneuver to get out of the way of an attack. Basic Kick (5%): A basic sweeping kick to knock the opponent over.
Turrel was filled with a sense of euphoria, the ability to battle seemed to make him grin aimlessly, perhaps because the man whom he was sparing with hadn't actually attempted anything dangerous up to this point. More to the point Turrel seemed to think a bit better of him since his aggression seemed to be absent even in the face of battle. Turrel realized quickly the man was a bit wiser than he looked ducking under Turrel's kick. Turrel's body would turn just slightly now sideways instead of his body facing his opponent. Luckily Turrel's right hand was on the side that the Android was on, Turrel thought he might have a chance, but then the Android did something strange.
Letting his leg kick out at extreme speeds towards Turrel's body. Without a way to properly guard he knew he'd have to react on impulse. The sweep kick definitely succeeded hitting Turrel's back lightly, but enough to send his body a few feet away. Within the time and pain Turrel let his right hand charge a blue energy that was rather shiny, and after getting kicked Turrel's natural born flight came into play without a notice.
In a single moment Turrel's body turned around coughing and hacking a bit as his right hand pointed forward, and a Ki blast shot forward between the 7 foot gap between Turrel and the Android, however Turrel wasn't aiming at the Android but the ground in front of him, and if this would succeed without the Android interfering he'd successfully cover the area with kicked up dirt and sand making the new battle field a bit more treacherous for the two.
If the blast would hit Turrel would close his eye speeding forward in flight trying to smash his shoulder into his opponents stomach for a bit of damage. Turrel just like the other man would be blinded aside from Turrel's blast guiding him the way of his opponent. If Turrel's spear did work then he'd proceed to speak the Android out of the kicked up dust and into a clear battle field where the corpses of many sand towers laid trying to slam the Android into multiple pillars.

Banza's kick seemed to make a fair enough dent into his opponent's defenses, the Android immediately turning in the direction they were sent away to before putting his arms up defensively as a blue energy blast was sent in Banza's general direction. To his utter surprise, the attack wasn't meant as a way to harm the android, and rather a diversion to kick up dirt?! Banza's vision was utterly obscured, causing him to quickly use his energy scanning to get a read on his opponent's direct position.
This was all for nothing, however, as it seemed the cunning Saiyan was already putting his moves forward to crash directly into the Android at high speed! Banza let out a sharp groan as his opponent slammed into his stomach directly, being immediately dragged off and out of the dust cloud into a more open area, his back slamming into a pillar. "You're... better than you give yourself credit for." Banza groaned as he sat back against the pillar for just a moment.
This man was far more cunning than just some random Saiyan. So many untrained minds fought with brutality and savagery, and even the ones that were more modest and refined often fought with some sense of forwardness that showed a lack of battle thought. To say the least... Banza was pleasantly surprised by how this man fought so far. "But this is far from over!" the android then roared out as he brought his fists above his head, aiming to slam down against the man's back for the time being in an attempt to get him off. The battle was getting a lot more interesting to the Android, and he was glad that he found someone quite enthusiastic to try and help with such training!
