Chapter IV: Brewing Feelings
Life, there was so much of it flowing throughout the Capital City, it never seemed to rest.
He was finally here, after having escorted that lady to this place he found himself enjoying the sites here a bit too much to leave just yet. Sine really couldn't help it, there were so many training oportunities here in this city, so many that he never had access to back in his own village. Seeing so many flying around here did make him feel a bit uncomfortable however. He was so used to just walking like the others did in his village, that he couldn't help but feel like he was just sticking out here among all the other passing citizens. Not many of them used weapons here either. The thought of being such a stranger in this city made him grip the hilt at his hip's side. It wasn't pulled out at all, but he liked having the feeling of his safety there among so many profession ki users. Sine continued his walk down the sidewalk as he began approaching a more modern looking building. Just being close enough, he could feel the ground pulling at him from even this distance.
As he approached what seemed to be a training field, he noticed a for sale sign nearby. Maybe if he saved up enough on those bounties around the village he could afford this place himself. He found himself moving slower and slower however as he arrived on the training field. The gravity field erupting from it easily beginning to pull him down. Every movement almost felt like a chore, like it weighed ten times what it normally was. "Dang...this pull is something else. Maybe I can push myself a bit before I head back. I'll have to tell Anima about this place, she would love to train in these kinds of things. Must not be cheap though...", Sine would admit as he would trip over, the gravity pulling him to the ground as he pushed himself against it.
It was this intense focus that his hearing was intensified. It was the loud thud of footsteps that made him turn to face the newcommer. Sine being unable to sense energy after all only noticed the guy by his prescense. Slowly he pushed himself off the concrete fully as he began to stand. A smile couldn't help but erupt on his face as he looked toward the fellow saiyan. "Well...Hi there, how can I help ya?", Sine would offer as he stood there shakily, the gravity easily affecting him as stood there. Beads of sweat were falling from his face; a heavy drip sounding from the gravity pulling the water to the ground. His clothes long and seemingly far too big for his scrawnier body. Clear signs he wasn't from the city and rather the outlands themselves or that he lived in the poorer districts of the cities. Truly it seemed it could be either or from his appearance.

Lotuce watched from just outside the range of the gravity field that seemed to pull the boy down, a chuckle leaving his face. He had only recently gotten back from exterminating a bandit camp and was so very tired of morons, but this child falling face first made him laugh a bit. Lotuce was wearing his usual outfit, the loose fitting black pants with white lining inside them, the maroon tank top with the ripped off sleeve denim jacket. On his feet were a pair of yellow and black boots, his hands taped up to help them withstand the impact forces his punches could deliver.
Lotuce tossed his empty disposable cup full of a dark caffeinated beverage into a nearby trash can as he slowly approached him. He could feel the pull of the gravity field but thankfully the building that it was in dampened it greatly and as such it was only as if he were walking through some mud as he neared the boy. Lotuce’s black orbs locked on the sword, a strange sight to see in the city as most either had a firearm of some description or let their bodies do the talking for them.
“So...having some difficulties in standing and walking? How did you live this long if you can’t even do very basic multitasking like that boy.” Lotuce then let out a loud laugh, his senses telling him that the boy in front of him was relatively close to Lotuce’s own in terms of pure power. The day was only just beginning for many people, shops were still in the process of opening up and setting their wares out, only the small cafe that he frequented had a tendency to be open before the shops.
Lotuce looked down at the boy, wondering what sort of backwater village on the planet he had come from, it could not have been anywhere near the capital since most people here were already wearing some more trendy clothes, even the so called warriors of the village. As he sensed the power within the boy, he could feel it was that of a Saiyan. The child had a great deal of potential as a warrior in him, that much was certain. Lotuce decided to be nice to him for now.
Lotuce then extended his right hand to him “Come on, get off the ground kid, its embarrassing to look at at this point. What kind of Saiyan are you to be on the ground for so long?” Lotuce wondered if the child would take his offer or if he would try to stand up with his own power. The gravity chamber was still affecting him to a degree, but he seemed so much stronger than the boy but it took everything he had to simply stand there and offer to help the kid up thanks to the effects of the gravity chamber.
Lotuce wondered what it would be like to have his own gravity chamber, maybe one stronger than this one was so he could use it for training...That would be some good training he supposed, a good chance to truly let himself grow as a warrior...

Chapter IV: Brewing Thoughts
This gravity was more intense on his body than he thought. They weren't going to let him down, not so easily however.
This gravity field was an intense training for someone of his own power, with how low it was. If he wasn't to grow stronger though, there wasn't going to be much in the way of keeping his village safe. That was why Sine had to keep pushing his body to it's limit. If he didn't grow much stronger, if he was to just give up. Then Anima would just mock him for weeks on end for just giving up instead of pursuing this thing to the end. That was why, even with the mockery from the stranger, the jesting insults that came from him. He refused to rely on others to carry his own burdens. His hand reached closer to the hilt, the blade weight so much heavier than before. It was his only chance however. A swift but firm yank came from his hand as he slammed the reinforced blade, combined with his innate strength straight into the ground. Pushing himself back up onto his feet in his own way.
"Thanks for the offer, but I got this.", Sine would give his acknowledgement to the foreign saiyan. His neutral state of expression growing into a smile as he held himself up with the blade. That wasn't to say he didn't still feel the burden of the intense gravity. In fact he could feel it pulling down on every single piece of who he was. Ten times normal gravity was in no means a joke. That still was a reason why he had to push past it.
"You know, I'm not a kid, you don't look much older than I am even.", Sine would begin to say as he held his gaze steady and yet his hands were still firm around the hilt of his blade. Now outside it's sheath it was much more visible than before. Half of the blade seemed blunt, while the other side seemed sharpened to a point far exceeding the re-fineness you could get from within a city. These kinds of craft could only be gathered from those outside the larger crowds. The villages where true blacksmithing craft could be refined.
While Sine couldn't sense the ki of his opponent, that also meant he couldn't tell the exact strength of those around him. All he could go by were his normal senses. From sight while the man in front of him looked to be handling the gravity alright. However, there was a stiffness to him, maybe just maybe the gravity was affecting him more than he was letting on. There was only one way to know for sure however, and he didn't know how well he would be able to do so in this gravity. The blade alone had increased in weight so much. That was why he was still unsure of what to think of this strange man who came to chat with a random guy like him. It wasn't like he was anything special apart from being from outside the city.

Lotuce let out a hearty chuckle as the boy in front of him used his sword to help him gain purchase on the ground and slowly pushed himself up. Lotuce smirked a bit at his comment about being able to do this as he slowly pushed himself up. Lotuce took the opportunity to get a good look at the sword he had, it was of a quality that was beyond what the mass producers could realistically make. This interested Lotuce greatly, for this child to be able to afford the blade he wielded meant either he had connections or money.
These were both things that Lotuce could use more and more each day, for each day he saw the Saiyan species diluting itself more and more, moving ever further from their true warrior heritage so much so that the Saiyan King was dethroned for wanting to gather more power not only himself but his people. The thought that passed through his mind gave Lotuce a sigh, and with a light shake of his head the Saiyan looked back to the boy who was now saying that he looked about the same age as Lotuce.
This statement elicited another laugh from the rather weak looking boy and said “No, we are not speaking of physical age boy, we’re talking of warrior age. You look very wet behind the ears still, likely barely had more than friendly spars with your local fighters, probably haven’t taken a life yet...ain’tcha?” Lotuce then began to stare the boy down, wondering just what he power he truly had, sure he felt around the same strength as Lotuce but that meant little when it came to actual combat prowess and one’s ability to survive let alone win a fight, in and out of friendly spars.
Lotuce had an idea all of a sudden, a pretty good one, he would give the boy an offer to test his skills out in a manner befitting a Saiyan. Slowly walking forwards a bit to the empty field before them, Lotuce would turn around, letting his body get used to moving in the weight, though anyone carefully looking at him would see that he was already beginning to perspire a bit from the effort of walking in the enhanced gravity of that was leaking out of the nearby building. This was going to be a quick spar he figured.
“How about we see just how strong you are without that sword? A friendly spar between Saiyans, to test just how strong you truly are, any moron can swing a sword after all. But to be strong in your own fists and have confidence in the energy within yourself? Well...Thats what it truly means to be a Saiyan.” Lotuce wondered if the boy truly had a Saiyan Warrior Spirit in him or if he had been long since tempted by such weak ideals as peace and a calm life. Lotuce licked his lips a bit, excited by the potential taste of this fight.
Lotuce then lowered himself into his fighting stance, his left leg slide forwards a bit, his left hand coming up in a cupped fist with his index and middle fingers extending a bit more before bending. Lotuce’s right hand was a full fist, closed and held close to his right hip, arm pulled and ready to throw a punch. His Aura flared up, the white flames, unruly and ready for the fun of the fight that was to come soon hopefully...

Chapter IV: Brewing Thoughts
The way fate strung its string was always quite a mystery, and for this path that curiosity only increased ten fold.
This man was a weird one, to barge in on his training, to make these claims. He seemed friendly, but there was this sort of aura around him that tugged at his gut. Sine couldn't quite explain it fully. Maybe it was just because he had never seen Lotuce before that he had such a strange feeling from his gut..
"How did you find me anyhow? Just wandering the streets and decided to come on over into the yard or what? Isn't like most will stop by to chat with someone who looks dressed like well...me.", Sine would begin to comment as he felt the pull of his garment tugging downward. It wasn't any personal grudge or anything, but rather just he wasn't sure about this man. He seemed strange, even for the average Saiyan in the city. Coming from someone living in the outlands, this guy just seemed different in some way. Maybe it was the tone of his voice that bothered him. Like he was talking down almost rather than towards him.
It was as he heard his next comment that he realized it was the tone. Especially after such a laugh, after such a proclamation. It disgusted him, and for a brief moment that flashed on his face despite the attempts to hide it. "I've had more than a few spars, but bragging about a kill I find to be poor taste for anybody. Disrespectful even in my opinion. One day I hope to have a large enough voice to let that be known.", Sine would admit as he would release the handle of his blade. His arms struggling to fold as he lifted them and cross them as he stared at the fellow Saiyan. He was beginning to think he heard enough after that question he made. The way he could say such things so easily, even with a laugh to them? It sickened him to his gut even.
At the offer to spar, at least it was more reasonable than his prior question. The thought against having a spar and the challenge to how well he could use his blade? Well he couldn't deny it took a shot at his own pride. Normally he hated fighting alone, but if this was just a spar than maybe it was alright as long as it wouldn't grow into something more. The way this guy was walking though. It was tough to say if he was going to even be able to fare too well against this guy if he could manage faster movements in this gravity field. "I think there is more to being a Saiyan than just that. Being a figure respected by your peers fits in being a saiyan as well. After all we have the Sadalian Defense Force, and from that robot I met. Well...I got my own goal in mind. That's for certain. So let's see this strength you have as well. I accept your challenge. Bring your best!", Sine would challenge the man as he reached with his left arm, the hand gripping the hilt of the sword firmly. His other hand held over his chest as a low green aura surrounded him, the ki being his life essence after all, taking the form of his soul. A low spark of electric ki, a sign of lack of full control, shooting the ground near his feet. His blade becoming wrapped in the same ki, increasing it's reinforcement and strength. "Come at me!", Sine would shout as he stood there, looking at his opponent's form.

The child was definitely living in a world all his own, this would need to be corrected. He looked up to the Sadala Defense Force? That made Lotuce want to laugh, in the ideal Sadala there would be no use for a Defense Force. An army however? That would be useful. Yes, when he became the ruler of the Saiyan people, he would create a proper Saiyan Army once more. This child had inspired him greatly without even realizing what he had done in just a few words. The only sign that he had been listening at all was the small smirk on his face.
When the child told him to bring his best, Lotuce knew that he should show him the sort of mercy of a quick defeat. Lotuce then charged forth, he began to suddenly charge some Ki into his fists. His fists would begin to glow red with the passion burning brightly within his very soul. “You want my best? Alrighty then, I don’t wanna hear any regrets from you later when you’re layin’ flat on yer back!” Lotuce had no plans to show mercy to the child. The man would close the gap between them in a short amount of time.
Keeping one eye on the sword, Lotuce knew better than to let that thing escape his vision, he was going to have to be smart about this to some degree. Lotuce then let his fists start talking for him, the time for conversation was over suddenly. The first punch was a right aimed straight at the center of the chest of the boy. Without waiting for even a brief moment a left was aimed at the boys gut, followed by a blazing right to the face. Lotuce was going to put the pressure on him from the beginning of the fight.
Occasionally he would include a quick swipe of a kick but was mostly trying to use his fists for right now. He was letting his Ki flow into his fists with each punch, each one searing the air as it passed through hopefully finding a home on the boys body. Lotuce had a wicked smile on his face, contorting his features into a primal look of enjoyment. He was going to enjoy this fight to its fullest, the meat was ready to be tenderized.
Yes, this young steak was butchered fresh from the body of the animal and it was time to season and prepare its delicious flavors before cooking it. He was going to beat the lessons his voice could not impart into the boys body thoroughly though. He was going to teach him the lesson of the strong, it would serve the boy well to learn the lesson well and learn it quick if he wanted to survive in the harshness that was this world, after all money could not buy true safety, only the fake safety of reliance on someone else. Lotuce would not stand for anymore weakness from the Saiyans. He was going to restore the Sayan peoples to their former glory.

Chapter IV: Brewing Thoughts
This guy wasn't like the other's he had met already, there was something different about him. Something about how he acted.
How could he still continue to smirk at such ideas? Who was this man and what caused him to be this way, to casually brush off the thoughts of taking another life. The look on this guy's face struck chills throughout his spine. This man was so overconfident in himself, so narcissistic. The scary thing being, that despite how he acted, it felt like he had the strength to back it up as well. That was why he decided he couldn't hold back either. If he didn't give it his all, he was just giving this man the satisfaction of a bolstered pride. That was why he held back from going at him first, why he kept from moving too far yet. He wanted the man to get cocky, to get over confident. Even with those taunts, even with the vast difference in power. That was when he knew...that he had played his own hand right.
With how fast Lotuce had moved, with his focus on his blade and Sine himself. He had missed one key detail. His other hand on the button on his chest. The one his hand had been over. Not to channel, power, but to release, to release strength as it was pushed in. The baggy like clothing falling off with a heavy dud to the ground as his speed seemed to increase. It was almost in a instant that his speed was past Lotuce's own. "Like I'll lie down and lose to someone like you!", Sine would speak with a grimace towards the saiyan as he ripped the blunt edge of his blade out of the ground. While Lotuce may have been keeping his eyes on it. It would make no difference with how close he had already gotten. The charging...had been a feint, one meant to drag him in.
"Good luck dodging this one! Shot Lock Engaged! Flash...Blitz!", Sine would yell as he ripped the blade upward into a side slash right into the man's fist, pushing into them as he began to push back with the superior strength of his refined technique. This clash had just begun, and now the cards were played. The truth revealed of how he been wearing weights this entire in the gravity chamber. Without them he was even beginning to move as well as Lotuce was. A trail of green ki leaking from his movements, his ki being used to boost his movement and his strength. It was clear that this so called "kid" as Lotuce had called him, was holding more pack to his strength than initially was revealed. "Who's lying on their back to the wall now!", Sine would comment as he pushed forward with even more force as he dug his foot into the ground. Using the momentum of the gravity to give even just a little bit of an extra push towards the Saiyan.

Lotuce grimaced and was suddenly pushed a bit back by the sudden attack, sure he could have utilized a skill to dodge the damage overall, but he knew that to see Lotuce take the hit in its entirety and keep going would surely be a blow to the boy’s morale. Lotuce then allowed a small grimace of enjoyment to fully contort his face as the realization of what the boy was wearing hit him. “So...You were wearing weights in this heavy gravity? You cocky little shit! I like your guff! Lets see what happens when we both do the same!”
Lotuce had been bluffing of course, he was not wearing weighted clothing, but the child did not know that, he then grabbed part of he denim jacket yanking it off as he spun fluidly, now beginning to get a bit used to the gravity. As he spun he threw the jacket at the smaller male, the throw belaying its true weight. The jacket itself was to be used as a distraction and to hide Lotuce’s movements. Lotuce then charged forwards again. He attempted to drive a right uppercut right into the boys stomach, a move that was designed to knock the wind out of him.
However, this was not his real attack, regardless of if his fist had found its way home or not, Lotuce would suddenly spin around, bringing his right foot up and then across his opponents face in a roundhouse kick. His aura would begin to flare up once more as he did, this time tinged with black as he did so. The kick was a powerful blow that he had charged with his own Ki in an attempt to knock the boy away or to the ground and then stun him.
Lotuce was attempting to create an opening, one where he could show him who truly was the victor in this fight. Once the boy was down or had dodged he would begin to unleash a flurry of regular punches and kicks, attempting to keep him off guard long enough for him to see a path to victory. He wanted to beat this child down, if he did he would offer him a place in his crew. “Ya ain’t half bad pipsqueak! That attack from before made me tingle with excitement! SHOW ME MORE!” As he continued the flurry, keeping all his senses focused on the fight now, he licked his lips.
Yes, this meat was becoming more and more tender, the juices would flow well and the flesh would sear well when he beat him down. The fight was going to be his most appetizing yet. That robot he had met a few days prior had soured his mood, but this fight had re-energized his will to go on. It confirmed his theory that Saiyan’s were indeed the number one life form in the Universe and he would show all those that lived within it this truth if it were the last thing he would do.

Chapter IV: Brewing Thoughts
The heat of battle was getting in his own blood, riling him up as this struggle continued on.
This guy was stubborn, tough as well. There was no denying that strength, even if he wasn't the strongest in his village. The fact this man took such an attack with such a sheer force. Well it wasn't exactly an appealing sense of strength. He could feel it in his bones however, this was nowhere near his limit. He still had further to push towards. Right now his own techniques held a better refinedness to them that this saiyan seemed to lack. Such techniques were going to have to be used to his advantage, whatever means he had to plan these tactics out. Those were the ones he was going to have to react to. This guy was cocky, extremely cocky. That was why Sine couldn't afford to lose to someone like. It would be disrespectful on his own pride.
The moment he claimed to be wearing weights? Sine truly didn't care that much. It wasn't like he could sense a power from Lotuce anyway. As far as he could judge from the movement? His speed hadn't increased really much at all. It was still far too easy to keep track of. That was why once the jacket was thrown at him, he didn't run or try to block it. Rather he swapped his blade around to the sharp edge, a loud rip sounding as the blade sliced right through the jacket, cutting it in half as he pushed towards Lotuce's attempt for an upper cut. His own swift movement, while not as fast or as strong, was easily enough to keep the most of the impact minimal. "Well you got yourself in my trap again...You just can't help with rushing first can you!", Sine would shout in the man's face as he used his left hand to shoot out that energy once more. Using the close range he blocked the initial flurry of attack awaiting once more for the heaviest blow. It was then that he flipped his blade once more to it's blunt side, using to slam back against the foot in a effort to push him back and overpower this man once more. Just as he thought, the strength pushing against him once more wasn't enough to be a real threat. His refined techniques were just far superior in their control of energy than Lotuce's current attack's were. Even the difference in raw strength meant little in the face of actual skill.
"Pipsqueak? We're about the same height moron...", Sine would mutter as he kept his guard up. Not that he saw any means for his opponent to overcome this attack anyway. This fight wasn't over yet, and that was something he couldn't forget. It wasn't over till the other tapped. Seeing how they couldn't just beat each other senseless to the point of knock out...who knew when that could be.

Lotuce watched the man meet his blow again, he could tell that he had a more refined control of his body and techniques than the Saiyan knew. It was at that moment that Lotuce jumped back several meters suddenly and lowered his guard, a smile on his face. The fight was short, but it was informative, telling him that he had much room to grow still. He let out a hearty chuckle at the boy and nodded his head “Good! Good! So you are a Saiyan at heart! You fight well, your body despite being not as strong as my own was trained in a different way, more refined.”
Lotuce slowly walked up to where the remains of his jacket were and picked them up, littering was bad after all. He then dusted it off and threw it over his shoulder. “You have potential child. You still have a great distance to go though before you’re ready to truly be a Saiyan Warrior, even I could tell you were holding back in our little fight there, in the future you might not want to do that, to truly gain the strength of a Warrior.” Lotuce’s aura had long since faded from the visible spectrum.
Lotuce looked the boy over once more, then looked at the good little gash he had left on his arm, wiping some blood that was dripping from the cut. “I don’t know where you are training or what your goals are, but you’re wasted there. Join me, become a member of my little...gang I am forming and we shall show the universe how strong we Saiyan’s truly are, we shall show them why they should never have thought us the meek people that they obviously do.” Lotuce was letting his plans be spoken aloud for the first time ever at this point.
Lotuce extended his right hand, a bright smile on his face now, his appetite might not have been sated in that little spar, but he knew for a fact that the meal was quite tasty. If he wanted to fight more, the two probably could have fought to a draw or even till the boy had won, that much was certain. Lotuce might have had the raw strength, but the boy had a better idea of how to apply what strength he did have.
“Join me and together we can lead the Saiyan’s to their true place in this galaxy, we can lead them to the place of true power. Join me and together we shall show the universe that the Saiyan’s should be feared and respected!” Lotuce had a look in his eyes, a fire that showed he was passionate about bringing the Saiyan’s standing in the universe up to heights greater than they had ever been before, a place where a Saiyan lead not only their people but the entire universe, by peaceful or forceful means. A universe where might made right and where combat for the sake of honor could return.
His hand stayed extended, the look on his face staying the same all the while. “So, what do you say...wait, I don’t think I ever got your name? I’m Lotuce, whats yours?” He was excited for the boy to say he would take his offer, assuming his answer before the man in front of him even uttered the words. The black haired Saiyan stared at his compatriot, a waiting and expected look upon his face, hoping...no knowing that he would agree to the offer presented. What warm-blooded Saiyan could turn down such an offer after all? HP: 12,579 Stamina: 2/3 Attacks: None.

Chapter IV: Brewing Thoughts
Cold, that was the feeling he gained in his neck as he listened to this man. His strange and radical thoughts, thoughts that could bring danger to all of them.
That was it? Was that really all he had to say to this? That he was giving up now. Sine could've kept going still, he knew he had the strength to do so to. After only these blows this saiyan had already given up. All that talk built up like the hot air it came from. Nothing. In a way he was almost disappoint. This man had been treating him the whole time like he wasn't a threat and now he was just giving up. The way he talked, it really just annoyed him, he hadn't ever met someone so...narcissistic about themselves. Were there more like here in this city? Lacking of regard for their fellow saiyan, acting superior to the others? It just didn't make sense such ways were just primal compared to their modern society. That was coming from someone who lived further away from these cities too!
"I've always been a saiyan at heart, nothing has changed of that. You're just blinded by your motivations, your goals. You focus so much over this might that you barely know how to use it. That alone is dangerous. Maybe I'm not the kid here, but you are.", Sine would say to him, rather coldly from someone usually kind as him. However, in truth he found it all reasonable, the way this guy attacked, his cockiness. His judgement on just the appearance of someone. Maybe that was why he felt so disgusted. Maybe that was exactly his next words to come hit him with such an actual shock. The expression clear on his face at the madness of this Saiyan.
"I'm not wasted at my home, Anima, Fatum, the Master. We're a family there and we give it our all to keep our home safe. They fight for honor, not for their own greed but for us to keep our home safe. Their all way more of a saiyan than you are. I won't be some cronie in some gang, you can take that offer and walk right out here with it.", Sine would exasperate as he threw his hand sideways, throwing the idea out completely. There didn't seem to be a chance of him wanting to join this kind of gang. He hadn't even noticed that he had grown completely used to this gravity. It didn't feel like it was weighing on him. They actually felt lighter than before even. This guy just sounded more and more like a radical, and that was the kind of people he didn't like mixing up with. Especially with one who didn't seem to have any hesitance to his actions.
"I won't lead them by fear, or even raw power. I don't care about leading. If I'm going to be in front of them all though, I'm gonna show em someone who won't give up. Someone who can get back up, have a smile on his face, and ease all their worry. I'll earn the respect, not take it by force. That isn't respect, that's fear. As long as I live, I won't let that happen, I won't let you make the saiyans a symbol of fear. I'll make them a symbol of hope.", Sine would begin as he seemed for reaching for something in his pockets, a phone perhaps? Something to call the authorities for perhaps?

Lotuce would scoff at the idealistic boy. He had so much hope for him too, but it seemed he was determined to be just another lamb for the eventual slaughter. He noticed the hand in the boys pocket, but decided that he was too...good, to do too much or to be much of a threat to him. Shaking his head somewhat somberly he began to turn away from the child slowly. His aura still completely died down, his body feeling like it could move a bit more fluidly now in this stronger gravity.
“You are but a child...Why should I expect you to understand the machinations of those far more experienced in this world...You are wasted in where you came from boy, you could be so much more...” Lotuce was disappointed in him for his lack of foresight, but it was still a choice that the child had to make on his own, and if he should choose poorly then that was his fate. The wind was gusting a bit now, buffeting the Saiyan Warrior who was half turned away from the other. A small smirk on his face, the boy acted as if Lotuce was some sort of villain or evil force.
“You say you will earn the respect of others, but yet when I gave my name you failed to return the small show of respect it would take to give yours, you are just a child play acting. A symbol of hope? HA!” The idea of symbols of hope was a joke as far as Lotuce was concerned. He found the whole idea laughable, to think that only one person could protect the others. No, the world was not as nice as some weekend animated serial for children would have you believe.
“When you want to learn how the world really works, when you have been beaten down by life, feel free to seek me out. The offer to join me will remain open for as long as you call yourself a Saiyan...” Lotuce then fully turned away and began to walk towards the edge of the gravity zone, where he had first met the boy. He knew that on this day he gained either a new follower or a new rival, either way the interest of how he developed would greatly intrigue Lotuce. Lotuce had at that moment resolved to have some of his future lackies keep an eye on the boy’s development.
Lotuce then stopped about midway between the boy and the edge of the Gravity area, keeping his senses tuned to the child in case he tried to be a coward. “Conversely to joining me, if you wish to seek me out and try to stop me from achieving my goals, bring your best shot. I will take it on in earnest next time we fight.” Lotuce would then continue to slowly walk away, making it seem like the gravity was affecting him more than it was in actuality. He even let out a small grunt of exertion.
Right at the edge of the gravity field he turned his head back to the boy and said “Next time we fight, there will be a true and decisive victor, one that leaves you or I on the floor bleeding, broken...or dead. I for one cannot wait for that moment!” Lotuce would then, if not stopped by the boy would leave the gravity field and slowly rise up into the air, his body no longer burdened by the weight of the false gravitational pull, no longer bound by the weight it felt like it produced on him
