Bataka
Name: Bataka
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Race: Saiyan (Pureblood)
Homeworld: Vegeta
Starting Planet: Vegeta
Appearance:
An exceptionally well-built young man, Bataka is a Saiyan in his prime. His well sculpted muscles are riddled with light and otherwise unnoticeable scars, old reminders of previous training regiments. He possesses Caucasian skin and long, wild, messy black hair that most Saiyans are known for. His eyebrows are about as bushy as his tail and indeed, his face appears more rugged than he looks. Even though Bataka is young he has seen his fair share of conflict, and it is very obvious when one takes a look into his burgundy eyes. He stands at a modest five-foot eleven, and weighs about a hundred and eighty pounds, most of it being his defining muscles.
Most of the time Bataka is spotted wearing what one would assume a Saiyan soldier to wear. Standard-issue, sleeveless black tightsuit that covers him from the neck-down, save for his arms, which instead fill white-colored gloves that match his white combat boots. Over his chest, Bataka proudly wears a black-and-white piece of combat armor that displays the Saiyan insignia on the left breast. It only has a single, long shoulderpad on his left shoulder, and three similar pieces of armor hang down around his waist, with a hole in the back for his tail to slide out through. This is his formal combat attire but it is not what he feels the most comfortable in. While training, Bataka prefers less formal clothing. He foregoes wearing anything to cover his chest, and instead wears an incredibly baggy pair of martial arts pants, tied to his shins with wraps that run down his feet.
Backstory:
Bataka was an incredibly lucky young Saiyan. He possesses incredible Saiyan blood, and is fully aware of his potential; his late father, Quash, an incredibly highly-regarded Saiyan conqueror, was touted as one of the very few souls capable of unlocking the Legendary Super Saiyan's ancient power. Very few have seen it for themselves, but most older Saiyans can recount Quash's bravery on the field. The actual details of his father's death are obscure and Bataka was never truly informed, but it was heavily implied that his jealous Saiyan partners ended up assassinating the man in his sleep out of fear. This didn't bother the boy, who had devoted every minute of his life to filling his father's shoes. Enrolled into the Vegetean Fighting Academy as soon as he was able to walk, Bataka lives and breaths fighting. He picked up exceptionally well when it came to hand-to-hand combat especially and often overpowered his fellow apprentices during spars, gaining a poor reputation as somebody who couldn't control himself on the battlefield.
It was as if Bataka was a completely different person in a fight. He tuned his mind out, relied entirely on his instinct. He didn't stop until his opponent couldn't move, and had once beaten an exceptionally weak opponent to death while in the academy. This contradicts what most people would experience with Bataka. He's a calm and stoic person who respect the chain of command, admiring those above him less as role models and more so as people to surpass. Feral as he can get in the thick of things, Bataka is often a very procedural person who follows orders when he's able to and makes sure to always perform at his absolute best, believing his worth to be determined by his performance in the eyes of his superiors. He's not a soldier who questions what he does at all - the captain tells him to fire, and he crushes all who oppose them. This attitude and this willingness to impress has afforded Bataka with a bit of a head start in the military, quickly ascending the ranks to shining above his peers and comrades.
As he steadily grows, he gains more of an interest in his father's legacy. He hasn't reached the level of his predecessor but has slowly started to fill in the pieces about this warrior who he's living up to. Dead-set on becoming a more permanent Legendary warrior, Bataka's tolerance for failure and weakness is exceptionally low, especially for non-Saiyans, who he considers to be lesser than himself on the sheer basis that they are not of the strongest species in his eyes.
A rising star in the Saiyan Empire, what path will Bataka choose when faced with the reality of his father's might?

Offense Tiers
- Grand Smash || {OT-1}

Gathering golden energy in his palm, Bataka slams it onto a surface. This surface might be a rock, the ground, a wall, or even a part of a person or their clothing (preferably solid clothing, such as armor) and injects all of the energy into this single point. The glowing power retains the shape of his palm for a few seconds before detonating, exploding and damage all nearby targets in a short radius. The technique can only be held for a few seconds before detonation, allowing for a few swift applications and very rarely for surprise attacks.
