Appearance:
Zeni sports white skin, reddish orange hair, green eyes and freckles on her cheeks. Her hair is kept at slightly above shoulder length and looks very 'proper', if not for the strand of hair that seemingly refuses to be held down by any force known to man. On the back of her head is a pink ribbon bow that is angled slightly off to the side rather than perfectly straight. Her outfit on the other hand is very formal.
Her clothes otherwise look to be made of normal materials if not for the fact that they are more resistant than normal cloth, and of course there is the fact that they hold a neon green glow to them within certain areas. Her physical form is very thin and almost frail looking, though one would be surprised at the amount of strength she holds; hers is not a Human body, and is in fact entirely made of machinery and synthetic materials. Unlike many of these machines, however, Zeni was not built for battle... She's a shopkeeper!
Backstory:
Many Androids are built for the sole purpose of being war machines, there are exceptions of course. Zeni just so happens to be one of them! If the name didn't clue you in; her sole interest is the legal acquisition of money. She was built by none other than the Scientists of Capsule Corporation, her goal is to simply man a 24/7 storefront. Any old robot could have likely fulfilled the role nicely, but they believed that having a clerk that is friendly and inviting would drastically improve sales; hence her creation at their hands. They wasted little time in setting her out to her first field test once she was completed. While she's not equipped for battle, she's still stronger than the average Human by virtue of being a machine. Due to this, it's believed she could handle security.
...For the most part. Anyone that has any sort of training would likely prove problematic for her. It's due to this that she was programmed to immediately notify authorities or otherwise request aid if such a problem occurs. Above all else she is to avoid direct combat, restraint can be used if necessary. Other than that, her directives were simply to secure any sale possible! Of course... Zeni isn't just the average Android, as you were most likely able to guess by now. She's not without quirks in her programming, such as lying causing her to hiccup.
Or the fact that she is entirely sentient. Her life's goal? Quite simple really, whenever she acquires profits, no matter how small, it's like a rush to her. So the red haired Android seeks to build a fortune, and amass a business empire that could create an even larger fortune from then on! It was going to be a long undertaking, but that didn't bother Zeni in the slightest; she had all the time in the world due to being ageless! Now there was a thought... All the time in the world, but her business could expand beyond just Earth one day!
But she had to make small steps first. At the moment, she owns no storefronts or works in them. Instead she is often assigned to malls or other popular shopping spots so as to attract potential customers and help to acquire sales. This was her first field test, after all. They couldn't just set her up with her own shop right away! Now if she turned out to be a resounding success... That would change things entirely, of course, she would still need her own funding for legal reasons. Capsule Corp couldn't hand everything to her.
But one day, Zeni would like to say that she is the most influential member of the entire Corporation! That would indeed take some time to accomplish, but it was good to have dreams. And considering her interests... Why not dream big? She had thought all of this up shortly after being made, mind you. With no real idea on how to accomplish any of it aside from 'Sell!'. She's rather infantile at the moment, which makes perfect sense as she had been made within this exact year; Capsule Corporation would be unveiling it's newest creation.
Her mind raced with the possibilities, how many sales would she make? How much of her namesake could she acquire? It was all rather exciting to think about, and it wouldn't be much longer until she was actually deployed onto the field! Her first test would take place at none other than the Iguana Street Mall, their method of transporting her was via vehicle. On there she was receiving her full briefing about what her tasks would be, as well as general guidelines as to what to do in situations, expected or otherwise. The eager Android was listening intently to every word.
She'd meet several new people soon! They would be arriving within just a few minutes, all thanks to the innovative technology that Capsule Corporation is responsible for. Finally their vehicle came to a stop. It was time to go over the last minute details before she would be let loose on the world! Zeni seemed to perfectly understand every question she was asked, and seemed to be passing each of their tests with flying colors. With all that in mind, there was little reason to stall this any further. The doors of their vehicle open, and she receives the command to begin her mission...

Roleplay Example:
"Alright, let's go over your briefing one more time.", the man in the white coat stated. "Your designated name is Zeni. Do you understand why you were not given a number?", he asks, then pausing as he eyes the Android calmly. The girl proceeds to give an excited nod. "Of course! Androids that are numbered were intended to be combat ready. My model only has basic functions for security detail, my objectives are to seek out any potential customer and secure a purchase!", she responds with a smile. The man gives a small nod in response. Though of course it wasn't done with so little.
"This will be your first field test. Do you understand what you're supposed to do?", he once more inquired. Zeni proceeds to give another nod. "Converse with anyone that is willing! Ensure that all shopping experiences go well, escort any lost children to safety, and if there's a robbery or terrorist act, to avoid danger and secure exit routes for everyone!", the Android replied. Although her motions weren't quite... Fluid enough, and her tone of speaking wasn't quite right, she was just activated only a few hours ago. That's right; this was her birthday. Anomalies were to be expected.
All things that could be fixed by simply sending her out to learn. It was a case of taking out two birds with one stone, any other glitches could be stamped out once the test was over with. But they were confident that Zeni was functioning entirely as intended; she certainly sounded the part! Just in her few interactions with the staff that had been working on her, everyone seemed genuinely happier for having met her properly. It could have merely been the fact that their project was coming to fruition, but this was one of her intended features.
After all, the more likable the salesperson, the better the sales! "Alright, now do you know what to do if someone becomes belligerent?", he then asked. "Attempt to defuse the situation, if the subject shows no signs of calming down, request that they leave the premises. If they begin to use physical force, notify authorities and restrain the subject if possible!", the Android responded. Things seemed to be checking out well enough, there wasn't much else left for them to go over. "Okay, we're just about done here, so we'll send you out onto your first mission, Zeni."
He explained as the doors to their vehicle began to open. "One more thing; Happy Birthday!", he added with a small smile. "Oh! Why, thank you!", the Android proceeded to give a curtsy, and then she made her way out of the vehicle that had transported her to Iguana Street Mall. Capsule Corporation was working closely with it's own branches and the various stores located here. It wasn't uncommon for people to call in sick, or for stores to become swamped. This presented Zeni with plenty of opportunities to help out! They could actively update her on situations like that, on top of it all.
Given the current day and age, this is where anyone would have expected something to go wrong; there was a fault in her programming. There were robbers or terrorists. Someone decided to take her and reprogram her... But none of that happened. It just turned out to be a very normal day for Zeni and the shoppers. People seemed to like meeting her, and of course, she loved meeting them! She wasn't unearthing some massive fortune by sheer understanding of the economy or some silly thing like that, either. Just a peaceful day for everyone that needed to pick up various supplies.
Although that wasn't entirely true; she did have a slight quirk in her programming. Although performing these small tasks and sales gave her a rush... She wanted more, to eventually grow into having a business of her own. Maybe even take over Capsule Corporation one day! A non-hostile takeover, of course. And why not? As an Android, she could handle that type of position without rest. It would be a new era ushered in for the company! ...Now why had she gone and thought about all of that? It didn't really make sense to her.
But somehow, it had clicked in her mind; that was something she wanted. Maybe even needed! So, why not? That could be her goal! She could save up sums of money and slowly, but steadily expand everything in her interest! The more Zeni thought that over, the more excited she became with the possibilities in the future. That was another thing to take into consideration with her; she wasn't just an unfeeling machine that followed a strict set of rules and guidelines. Zeni was designed to be as close to a living human as possible, at least in the sense of her mental capabilities.
She could think, she could evolve. She could adapt! And as machines often do... She was performing such feats at a much faster rate! There was one slight catch, however. Zeni had no interest in combat, in fact she hated the idea of hurting anyone. So while she was considering all these details to build her an empire based upon riches... Zeni had completely forsaken the idea of upgrading herself in terms of power. Why would she ever want to hurt her customers? After all, that was rather counter intuitive to her design and wants!
The Android simply didn't grasp the concept that there would be those interested in taking advantage of her, or perhaps even harm her... But then again, could there really be anyone out there that could hurt an innocent girl? Why, it would take someone completely heartless to do something like that! Zeni had thus decided to make it her goal to become friends with anyone that she meets, even if she couldn't secure a purchase out of them, she could acquire more than just money out of it! This is how the story of the quirky, naive Android begins...
Zeni had been unleashed upon the world! This was her birthday, and it was time to make it a grand party for everyone involved!
