Christopher had came back to the lookout once more. He hadn't been here for a while as he had been recovering from rather serious injuries from his spar with Saki. Even if the Orin Temple monks had told him to take it easy, he found himself back to training as soon as he regained use of his body. Though he did indeed wait a little longer before leaving however to let the rest of the bruises heal up. One day he still sought to fight Saki at full strength again. He knew though that he needed to train though. He needed to find a school and there was one he had only heard of from rumors but he wanted to see truly for himself. He knew what Galen had truly meant now when he said that Saki was strong. There was no buts about that. He had been more powerful than he had even thought. It had taken all of his strength to just launch his blast right back at him. Heh that had surprised the demon for sure but I had drained him completely and left him wide open, frankly it had been his only chance of combatting it since it had been coming so fast. Faster than he could dodge or even move with his rapid movement technique. He couldn't hold back to the past though. He had already seen what could happen when he had done that and only when he had beaten it before had he managed to gain control of his ape form. It had been a fair fight and he accepted that but he just wished for one day to have a truly equal fight against Saki. He could only wonder about his sister? What had Leena been doing while had been recovering....and how was he going to explain to her why he had been missing for a few days without telling her..
That was why he really was here. He had been hoping to find his sister, Leena, and tell her that he was indeed alive and that she shouldn't hopefully threaten the planet looking for him. Nothing could stop a angry saiyan when there looking for someone they cared about and Kami help the one if someone were to do that. Gah his mind was getting off track again. Chris began coming close to the lookout as he landed rather gracefully on the smooth white stone. He always loved the design of this place, he wondered if Arion was nearby but when he sensed for his ki he couldn't sense him. He must not be home. He wondered where he could have went? He still remembered how much Arion had helped him when he didn't have to. No matter he could find him later, but for now he needed to find Leena. He would begin flaring his white and light blue aura. As he felt the ki unsuppress around him. He could feel the strength flowing into him as he hoped to give a signal that he was here to Leena or unknowingly whoever else was here.
It was another quiet day on the Lookout. It didn't seem like anything was going to be happening on a day like this, normally this would have been the time where the Albino Saiyan would have been reading a book, or meditating. But today she was standing atop the Palace, she was using her Far-Seeing Arts to watch over Earth at the moment. But even despite this... Atsuko couldn't pick out any major events that were happening at the moment. The blue flames over her eyes begin to dissipate as she ends the usage of her Far-Seeing Arts, taking in her surroundings once more.
The Knight looks down to see someone landing on the Lookout. Ah, that was Christopher. She hadn't spoken to the man very much, but she recognized him from before. Leena seemed to have a liking towards him. He seemed to be looking for someone here, and it didn't seem to be her. Was he looking for Leena? If that was the case, this wasn't really the best pick... The Saiyan Bounty Hunter never exactly liked it much here on the Lookout. But regardless, her musings on that came to an end as he flared up his power.
He wasn't looking for a fight; the meaning was clear to her. He was essentially shooting up a flare to alert everyone to his presence. That was fair enough, the Knight proceeds to step off the edge of the roof of the Palace, then gently levitating down in front of the structure as she looks at Christopher calmly. "I think I remember you... You were here when Komatsu had revived, right? I'm sorry that I had to send you away earlier. But if you still have business with me... I have plenty of free time now."
The Knight explained, she eyed him for a moment. He wasn't the strongest at the moment... But he seemed to have a decent enough head on his shoulders. The Albino Saiyan pondered it over, maybe he could receive some training... It would certainly be a load off of Leena's mind, who seemed to be overprotective of the lad. Earth could always use new Defenders, too. "I've noticed that you have a fair amount of power, and it seems you have potential that is yet untapped...", the Saiyan then commented as she finished looking him over.
"I don't mean to change the subject from the business that you might have had with me, but the reason I say this is because I believe that you would make an excellent student. I've recently mastered a style of Martial Arts... And I've been looking towards training others in it. Before you make your decision, I'll explain a little about it.", the Knight then paused for a moment, the sword at her side began to glow and take human form, as it had done countless times before. The sword strongly resembled Atsuko.
Save for the red dress she was wearing, a contrast to the blue that the Guardian wore... There was also the fact that Excalibur's garb was much more revealing. "This is Excalibur; she is a sentient sword that I wield in battle. She taught me everything I now know about fighting, even refined my control over the Super Saiyan state... Which you saw earlier.", the Knight calmly explained. "This style is based around using your body and your weapon. It's based around skill over raw power... But the most notable feature about it..."
With that, the woman in red chimed in. "You'll be able to call upon my power and make it your own! You'll be able to fight just like Atsuko does!", she stated with a grin. The Albino Saiyan gave a nod in agreement. "However, I can't make you accept. So I only extend the offer; would you like to join the Knights of the Round? This is the name of the style, as well as the faction that stands in defense of Earth. Thus far, two have begun their training in it."
The Albino Saiyan elaborated further. There were quite a few things that she could do to truly help Christopher improve, but he needed to take that first step. She wasn't going to force him into training if he had no interest in it, it was due to this that she also made no mention of the Sacred Holy Water... Yet, he had enough on his plate to consider. Maybe once they had finished basic training, the Albino Saiyan would be able to share that information with him. But there was no need to go into that just yet.
Atsuko had no more words to give at the moment, and had instead fallen silent as she waited for Christopher's response. This was his choice to make, no one was around to stop him or persuade him. "For the record... I agree with her. You seem like you would be a pretty good fit for this. I won't try and egg you on into agreeing, but you have plenty of time to think it over if you're not sure just yet.", the Sacred Sword would then add. With that there was little else to be said.
Silence would fall over the Lookout as the pair waited to hear what the young lad would have to say in response to all of this. It was undoubtedly a lot to take in, for a variety of reasons. But Atsuko had meant every word, she was willing to make him a student of her Martial Arts, and even see him rise to mastering it one day. It wouldn't be an easy road, that much she could definitely assure him of if he had asked. But then again... He didn't seem to be the type bothered by difficulty.
Atsuko would be able to gauge his true worth if their training began.
Chris really in all honesty hadn't been expecting to see the Kami here of all people. "Uh...yeah I had been here when that whole thing went on. That was a Super Saiyan you transformed into wasn't it. I heard my sister talking about it. She's actually why I came here originally. I've been kind of out of it for the past few days after a....well let's just say rather extreme spar with a demon named Saki. I had guessed she came here first since she seemed to be studying this place a lot before I was...well...out of it for a few days." Ironic as it was. He grew a look of confusion as she began to approach him and it made him wonder what she was doing. It wasn't until she began speaking did his eyes truly open wide. This had been his dream that he had told Galen of. He had always wanted to train under the Kami and here he was getting his chance now. It almost made him completely forget why he had came here in the first place...almost. His mouth was agape as he listened to how she thought he had potiential to grow even stronger than before. He was actually about to speak again when Excalibur had transformed into the lady mirroring Atsuko. His tail still reacting in pure Suprise just drooped to the ground in pure amazement. He really hasn't been expecting of the sword to well transform into a mirror copy of Atsuko. When she continued to explain of how the skill worked together with the body, it made his eyebrows furrow into a look of thought almost. "The way you describe the technique, it almost sounds like a dance." Chris would say but almost like a question, as if he was wondering if that was what the art was based on. His voice however obvious intrigued in the martial arts style already however.
He pondered over the offers they both were willing to offer to him. He honestly didn't know if he felt worthy enough to take such an offer before a thought from back with Galen trickled back into his head "You would be best to take your chance when you get it. You never know if you will get such a chance again." He would remember having heard back with Galen. He knew what his choice was. "I would be honored to join the Knights of the Round. Now then the only thing I will truly have to fear is Leena when she finds out." Chris would say with a half hearted laughter. Wow the chance of her killing him were steadily going up. Though it was clearly seen that he meant it more in a joking manner about his sister. Well not really sister but just they were close enough that they considered each other that way. He began to lower his aura down to a rather non visible state. He figured by now that sense Leena hadn't came that she wasn't here.
Christopher didn't seem to be expecting to run into the Kami of all people, it struck her as a little odd, but perhaps that made some sense to a degree. The two weren't able to meet in the few times he had visited the Lookout before, it must have given him the wrong impression about the location. But that could easily be changed now! The young lad began to ask her if it was a Super Saiyan that she had transformed into. Atsuko proceeds to give a calm nod. "That's right. More than just a Super Saiyan, however.", the Saiyan responded.
"That was a Super Saiyan at full power; when you first enter the form, the power is very raw. The anger is nearly impossible to control. Your energy easily slips away, and while it still provides a massive boost... It's nowhere near as good as it could be.", the Knight elaborated for him. She didn't see many reasons to keep it a secret from him, after all this might serve as an inspiration to him! People always loved having stories and legends to give them aspiration. "However, I can't help you access such a form, unfortunately... At least not directly."
The Knight then stated. "What I can promise is that my training will certainly help you along to such a level, and should you ever rise to such an ascended state... I'll certainly try my best to help you refine it.", the Albino Saiyan finished her little speech, and just about at that point Christopher commented on the Martial Arts style, and how it sounded just like a dance. This caused the woman in red's face to practically light up! "Yes! Exactly! A dance! That's how I envisioned the Martial Arts Style! You understand it perfectly, then! I knew you would be a good candidate!"
It seemed like that made her really happy... But what really put a smile on her face? That would be when Christopher accepted being trained by the pair! "Excellent! Now before we begin, we do need a proper setting for this!", the Sacred Sword then snapped her fingers, reality began to shift around the three. And no longer they would be standing on the Lookout, instead they would now be standing inside of a massive, extravagantly decorated locale! "Welcome to my Reality Marble! It can be shifted to fit any training regime. This is what we will use to train you!"
"Now, you know a very basic summary of the Martial Arts Style, but I'm going to fill you in on what it is you'll be learning first.", the Knight then stated, seemingly unfazed by the change of scenery that had taken place around them. "The first thing you're going to learn is how to hold a stance. This will let you firmly root yourself to the ground, preventing anyone from easily knocking you down. It will also allow you a wide range of movement, from traversing distances, to being able to strike your opponents easily."
The Knight continued. "It will also let you take your opponents by surprise. But most importantly... And what you do already know, is that it will allow you to call upon the power of Excalibur. That comes after the basic fundamentals, you'll also be learning three techniques!", the Albino Saiyan wanted to go over all of these details, so that he knew exactly what was on the agenda. It was going to be a very long road, but he certainly had the determination to continue onward, Atsuko respected that, and she wanted to see just how far he could go.
"The first technique is Invisible Air, this will work off of your stance, and allow you to channel Excalibur's power into your weapon... If you don't have one, she will be able to create a basic form for you to use. The next technique is Mana Burst; effectively, this lets you channel a large amount of energy and then instantly expel it. Thereby increasing your performance! The last is Avalon, Excalibur's Sheath. By calling upon it, you can recover from wounds, as well as restore your allies.", she had gotten pretty used to explaining all of this. So that left the next part of the speech!
"Invisible Air works off of your understanding of the Martial Arts Style, it will improve as your own skill does. Mana Burst and Avalon, on the other hand... They're unique. You can refine their power at your own leisure, regardless of your understanding of the Martial Arts Style. So if you wish to improve them... Keep that in mind.", with that, that was all of the explanation out of the way. Atsuko knew where to take the training next. So she calmly drew her sword and eased herself into a stance. "First up is your stance."
The Saiyan stated. "Show me what yours looks like, I'll instruct you further once I've seen that.", the Knight added. Her own stance was easy enough to take in, her legs spread apart just enough to lower herself to the ground and hold her stance firm; trying to knock her off balance would be difficult. Despite that, she was also able to move freely. Her sword was held in two hands, and off to the side. This allowed her a wider range of attack, and to keep her sword within proper bearing. But most importantly it allowed her to catch her opponents off guard.
That was a good question to consider now, though... Did he have a sword that he could use? "Ah... Hmm, do you have a sword? If you don't, I can prepare one for you. You'll need it at least until you know how to use Invisible Air.", Excalibur explained to Christopher. One of the most fundamental aspects of this style did rely on being able to use a sword, and he would in fact need one in order to fully benefit from it. It was fortunate that Excalibur could prepare one, just in case.
Otherwise that might have taken all of the wind out of talking about this Martial Arts Style...
Chris could only listen intently as she spoke more about how she had became a super saiyan. He had only heard of the name rather recently from Leena and he had been wondering since what it was. Especially since Leena explained how he was a saiyan. He just was raised by good people and had lost any real temptation of that evil. Of course he still prayed for them to be happy wherever they were now...that was why he was so attached to Leena. She just acted so much like a sister that he just kept on calling her his sister in practicality. Not of blood relation to his knowledge but rather of just pure symbolic. She mentioned of how maybe one day if he was able to reach the form that she would help teach him to refine it. Just like Atsuko guessed however like a story told to a child he did want to follow that challenge of one day achieving that level of strength. He didn't know why but there was some nagging feeling within him of hoping to one day surpass the power of a super saiyan. Was it possible that there was more after the level?
Once Excalibur grew excited about his guess of the art being similar to a dance that made him quite a bit happier about it. Frankly that he had guessed right. It would honestly be interesting learning a martial arts style based around it. Though there was still that hint of wonder if what it would look like? What it would feel like? This journey wasn't going to be easy but he was ready to take every step of the way. Before he could really say anything the reality around them all had shifted to the inside of what seemed to be a large building. "How...what...when?" Chris would say in complete shock looking around and wondering how exactly they got here and when. That was when Atsuko had explained of this place being her reality marble. "I won't lie, to say my mind isn't blown would be like saying that Leena is the most caring person in the world. This is where you trained?" Chris would ask almost in complete and utter awe as he stood shell shocked almost just from the way everything looked. Chris shook his head quickly as if to get back into focus was he noticed one of his mentors getting into a stance. When he finished listening to what she said he focused himself into his stance as he spread his feet wide but not past the width of his hip. With his body twisted towards one side his left arm was pulled farther behind than his right arm which was pushed further than his left to keep up a good guard. His feet even more peculiar as his left foot wasn't on the ground fully, it was more lifted to give him that extra launch when he needed to move while his right was stamped to the ground to hold a firm ground. This was a form Galen had been helping him with before. Though it still wasn't fully adequate the basics of the form could be seen past a few of the sloppy parts like how his left arm was a little too far back. "Like this Master Atsuko?" Chris would ask mainly because he wasn't sure if the form was fully right.
Though the next thing to happen was rather awkward. They asked if he had a sword. "Um...a sword? Sorry but I don't have one, I would really appreciate one though. If you would want the one you would let me borrow back I could look around for another sword later after the training." Chris would say a little embarrassed of not having brought a weapon but yet to also be fair he had never used a weapon before. He had always used hand to hand or hand to sword combat. Never had he used a blade before. Though he did realize he was going to need to find a sort of armor later on to match with the Knights of the Round when he got a chance later.
The Albino Saiyan briefly wondered what it was that the young lad must have been thinking about. He seemed to really enjoy the story about how she had become a Super Saiyan, as well as the details behind it. Well that made some sense, as she was able to understand, the Super Saiyan form was something out of legend. But the Knight knew that there was more than just the single form to work with; her meeting with Natto and Tomoroko had taught her this. Apparently it was possible to ascend all the way up to Super Saiyan 3, though she only had her father's word to work off of.
She had never seen the form before. Nor could she grasp just how powerful it must have been... But she could feel the difference between the raw form and the mastered form. Ascending to a new stage entirely must be completely unreal, just what would the power be like? Achieving Super Saiyan 2 might be exactly what she needed to protect Earth. But Atsuko had to set these thoughts aside for now, she needed to train Christopher. He was an eager young student, much like another one that she was training.
Although Ayami might have him beat in the energy department... Christopher asked if this was where she trained, and the Knight gave a nod in response. "Yes. Within a single day, I trained here with Excalibur and came to master an entire, new style of Martial Arts. I came to understand it as necessary after the battle that took place on the Lookout. Nasu, who I later found out to be my Brother... There was a difference in power between us, I had him outmatched. But his skill gave him the advantage in the battle despite that.", the Saiyan would explain a little of the history.
"It was due to this that I set out to improve myself. If I wanted to protect Earth, I needed to be able to fight with skill, just like he did. Ironically, one of my most dangerous enemies ended up teaching me a very valuable lesson... It's this lesson that I want to share with you, and others.", the Albino Saiyan finished her speech. The young lad then did his best to assume the stance just like she had done, but there was a slight problem; he didn't actually have a sword. But that was easily rectified!
He apologized for not having one, but the Saiyan smiled in response. "Don't worry about it, Excalibur will set one up for you.", she directed a glance towards the woman in red, who proceeded to give a calm nod in response as she then walked over to Christopher. "It won't be anything special. But it will be perfect for the purposes of training.", the Sacred Sword would state to Christopher, as she then proceeded to conjure up a Steel Longsword for him. It looked well made, though perhaps a bit basic. There was one thing he didn't have to worry about, however.
It wouldn't break. It seemed to be made of a very durable material, that saved him the trouble of having to search all across Earth to find something that would be able to withstand intense battles. Once Christopher received his sword, Atsuko was the next to calmly walk over to him. "You've almost got the form down right. Let me help you a little bit more...", the Saiyan would then use her hands to mindfully guide his body into the right stance. He needed to get used to something more than a rudimentary stance and footwork.
The young lad would also need to get used to the weight of a sword. Though that was less of an issue, truthfully. Once she corrected his legs, torso, and shoulders, she then proceeded to back off and resume her stance once more. "Now, get a good feel for the stance. Try to move without breaking it, and when you're ready, attack me; though don't use any techniques. I want to see what you can do with your skill alone. I'll instruct you further once I've seen that!", the Saiyan would then instruct Christopher on what he needed to do next.
In the case of Bernael, she didn't need to give an example. But for Ayami, that was necessary. So that left what would be needed for Christopher, he was a little more experienced than the Water Elemi was, if his power was anything to go off of. In any case, the only course of action that the Knight had at the moment was to see how he performed. From there she would be able to adjust the training accordingly. Though one thing was at least fairly certain to her; he wasn't quite skilled enough to be able to master the Style yet.
He needed more time to grow, but then again... Kids these days seemed to have no problem doing that.... Now where did that come from? Here she was, thinking like she was an old person. She was only eighteen years old, not that much older than everyone else, really. Somehow she had become a 'God of Earth', and held a massive power that seemed to be unlike anyone else. She smiled a little as she discards the distracting thoughts, no need to lose her focus now. Her eyes were closely observing the young lad and what he would do.
The Knight needed to pay close attention in order to point out the flaws, to instruct him properly. Much like with Ayami as well... She wouldn't be able to use her full power against him, otherwise he wouldn't be able to get any training done at all. But that was fine, he would have to make due with an essentially invulnerable target that could help him correct potential mistakes. It was certainly one of the better ways to get training in, really. This would let him learn by doing, but also negate most of the risks involved in that.
He felt excited when he heard of how she trained here for an entire day to master these skills. Though he knew that with the help of his master he would be able to pull it off. He couldn't help but wonder who else was being trained by these two? He knew he couldn't be the only one. The way she kept studying him signified that. He just wondered who else it could have been that might be. He didn't know why he was thinking of these things all of a sudden but he snapped himself back to reality just in time for her to listen to how he didn't have a weapon. With that he watched as Excalibur created the weapon out of seemingly nothing. Even if she said it wasn't special that didn't matter to him. "Even the most basic of things doesn't have to have any unusual properties to it to make it special. It what the heart believes that truly makes it special. Thank you Excalibur." Chris would say as he grasped the sword and struggled for a second with the weight. Mainly because he wasn't used to such a weapon before. He was slowly getting the hang of it as he began to swing it a few times to adjust to the weight of the blade.
He felt as his limbs were motioned to perfect the form as he studied the feeling of how his body was in this stance. His body still in form he used the force of his legs to push himself forward and backwards. Side to side. At first it might have been slightly off with the formation until he fixed it but it was slowly becoming better and more perfected as he began to keep the form better and better. He was beggining to get the hang of this. He began to practice swinging with the weight of the sword while moving from positions but still keeping the form. The swing of the blade just didn't feel right and from a glance anyone could have told that. He stopped for a moment to look at the blade. He was wondering why it still didn't feel right. He realized it right than as he thought those words. He was treating it as if it was a separate item. He needed to stop that kind of thinking. He moved his grip onto the blade lower and let his body do the work as he felt the weight beggining to balance out. He began moving and swinging with this form once more with significant difference. He was moving at a reliable speed now, not perfect but nothing practice couldn't fix later. He swung with the blade's weight moving his own body in sync before swinging it backwards to hold it in his stance. He felt a little better from that. The form just began to feel more and more natural with each passing second.
Chris looked right into the eyes of his Mentor as she told him to attack. He held back slightly at first before thinking of it. As much as he disliked harming others he knew she wouldn't have asked him to if she though he would hurt her. He launched himself at her instead of normally charging. He remember what they had said in agreement of how it was more like a dance. That meant he couldn't just charge like normally did. He had to truly think of this like it was a dance. He swung diagonally from lower right to upper left as he attempt to hit her. He knew with his strength that he couldn't truly harm her with something like this and that was what kept him from holding back. Like Saki had told him. If he just held back than no true training would be accomplished. If he truly wanted to et stronger than he was going to do what Saki said. He was not holding back anymore.

Christopher responded to Excalibur, saying that even though it was just an ordinary blade, that was fine. The Sacred Sword gave a calm nod in reply. "Good. If you treat your sword with care... Even if it's not anything special, it will see you through many perils. It's what you can make of it.", the woman in red stated. It seemed like the young lad managed to win more than a few points with her. He then accepted the sword, taking a moment to adjust to the weight, Excalibur stepped back calmly as he tested out a few attacks with it.
She wondered briefly if perhaps the weight of the blade was off, but perhaps it was just due to the fact that he had never used a weapon like this before. It would be something he would grow into, then. The Albino Saiyan watched as he seemed to struggle with using it properly, she knew the problem almost immediately; he was treating the blade as a separate item, rather than an extension of himself. But that was to be expected, one didn't start off knowing how to walk, after all. The Knight waited patiently for him to finish getting used to it.
He seemed to be learning well enough, the stance was becoming something that seemed more natural on him. Finally, the young lad launched himself at her and swung his sword diagonally, the Knight moved her blade to block the slash. It must have been an odd sensation, as she would stop his momentum with seemingly barely any effort. The Saiyan seemed to be pondering for a moment. "Hmm... Decent amount of strength. You roughly held the stance, but you didn't fully use it to your advantage. I'll give you an example of what the style can truly do."
Atsuko would state, then calmly stepping away and over to the woman in red. Excalibur began to conjure up a sword for herself, a large red greatsword. Larger than even she was! The Sacred Sword began to take stance, and then the Knight did the same. The two then surged forth, their blades clashing in well practiced movements. It would have been difficult to keep track of if not for the fact that the two were slowing themselves down a little so that Christopher could actually watch the demonstration. Visual representation of what was needed might have been exactly the key.
They were able to hold the stance regardless of the movements they made, what's more... The difference could be plainly seen in how their movements gave off less exertion than untrained attacks. Just from watching them, it was easy to tell that they could keep this up for days without end. But it was a final clash that saw Atsuko and Excalibur separate from each other. The Saiyan would then turn her gaze to Christopher. "When you can truly use the style to your advantage... You'll be able to keep from tiring yourself out, you'll even be able to gain energy back."
Atsuko explained calmly. "You'll be able to strike harder and faster. Eventually you'll find that this can even become more useful than your techniques, because it lets you conserve your energy. Any opponent that uses raw power against you will be punished severely, as well... To truly grasp this style, you will need to envision your sword not as a separate item, but an extension of yourself. Work with it's weight, use it to your advantage. The steel can be used to shield you from harm, and to strike efficiently against your enemies.", the Saiyan continued her lecture.
Finally, she entered stance once more. "The movements that you saw, I want you to use them now. The best way to learn is by doing, keep attacking until you understand what I mean.", the Knight finished. Christopher had a fair amount of power, but he was a total novice when it came to using his sword. That needed to change, especially if he wished to become a member of the Knights of the Round. Atsuko thought over what would be the best way to help him through this. If this didn't do it, what would? Hopefully it started to make sense to him...
Otherwise Excalibur might need to take over for this lesson. Regardless, she wasn't doubting the young lad. He was just inexperienced and needed the right guidance. Ayami had the same problems at first, but she was able to overcome them once she received visual guidance on the lesson. Maybe that in itself would be enough for Christopher to be able to move passed the issues he had encountered. Bernael was probably the one to learn the fastest from her lessons, but that made sense. He had far more experience than Ayami and Christopher combined.
But she wasn't going to give up on any of her students, one way or another she would see the young lad learned at least the basic fundamentals. Once he was able to grasp how to use the style, the rest should be fairly smooth sailing... Or at least, that was what Atsuko was hoping. The woman in red was silent as she seemed to be lost in thought... Though eventually, that silence was broken. "Hmm... Make sure that you use your entire body to help with your attacks as well. You may find that stepping in the right way will put more strength into your attacks."
The Sacred Sword chimed in. "And it will cause less of a drain on your stamina than merely using your arms alone.", the woman in red advised. Hoping that it would help the lesson along. Then again, it wasn't like they were pressed for time... But even so, this was an important aspect of the training that couldn't be skipped. The pair were silently hoping that as teachers, they would be able to help him through the very first lesson out of the entire Style. It was a bit of a learning experience for both parties.
It wasn't easy to train others, after all.

Chris smiled at he agreement of what he thought of his blade truly. Even while he had launched himself he could feel how that was nothing almost. Something in him could tell that it felt like a normal slash rather than a show of the art. He could tell as he watched her deflect it with ease, which in all honesty was a first that he had seen. That was when she spoke of how his style has been rough. Damn he knew it too. He had felt it but he wasn't going to give up. He still had the determination of a Saiyan even he acted more like an earthling. He had to focus. If this had been the real thing he could have been defeated easily in battle. Luckily for Atsuko and Excalibur he was indeed a better visual learner. He studied as the two clashed with blades moving in sync to their body. How they would move towards their attack to strengthen it when they wern't blocking. With their final clash having ended he could only watch in slight amazement as they looked as if nothing had happened.
Learning Martial Arts [BG] With her words said and instructions given he got back into the his stance and launched himself once more towards her. This time however he was keeping up the stance in a much better way. As he began to complete with slashes towards Atsuko's blade who was hopefully dodging them or blocking them, he couldn't keep this from holding him back. He needed to release his power. He continued launching his blade in multiple ways but as the more he began to do it was becoming noticeable that they were improving with each slash. Chris couldn't stop swinging however. He just continued to slash and dice, his Saiyan determination putting his blood full of adrenaline as he kept his attempts up until one of the deflections knocked him backwards. He could give up like this..not yet.
He launched himself forward once more with his form being held more and more accurate. While it was growing less and less out of movement. He was starting to get the hang of it. He was growing in power of it with each swipe. He looked right into the eyes of Atsuko and found himself looking into mirrors of sorts as he looked at himself. He saw a rage filled kid attacking himself. He wasn't going to lose himself to that rage again. He lost his parents the last time he used that rage. He was slowing down his fury of slashes. It was becoming more and more like the clashes that Atsuko was only doing moments before. He wouldn't let himself be consumed by this rage. Not now. His vision started changing back to that of the inside of the reality marble. He let out a relaxed breath as he watched the movement of his blade and move towards it in each moment he could. He didn't notice however how his form was no longer changing with his movement, that it was staying the same and being kept out. Chris tuned out almost everything around him except the sounds of the clashing of his blade with Atsuko's. However as soon as he attempted to clash too early he was knocked back again. He only proceeded to get back up and listen to the silence. It was eerie but yet he still knew that it really wasn't in silence. It was a weird feeling but he was growing used to the feeling.
Chris launched himself slower this time than the last few but that was because he kept up the stance with his launch and proceeded to launch a flurry of slashes, making sure he could hit the blade of Atsuko's in beat. He was felling completely at ease and his own silence ensured that very feeling. He was gain much significance in his blade skills as he maneuvered himself once more in a attempt to leave one final slash right onto Atsuko's blade to continue this clash. His eyes showing how he seemingly was there but yet wasn't at the same time. It was because he was listening to the rhythm of the clashes of both blades. He wasn't sure where he was finding this strength until he pushed with his blade onto Atsuko's to launch himself in a back flip away from her. His determination had pushed him to learn this new skill. It looked like he had the beginners of it set from what he could tell by the newer strength he felt in his slashes before he launched himself off of Atsuko's blade. "D..did I do it?" Chris would ask as he looked at his mentors for whether they had approved or not.
WC: 822 TWC: 3313 Stamina 3/3 Learned Martial Arts [BG]
Christopher had noticed almost right away, even before she said that his attack was off... That was rather impressive, she didn't think that he would have noticed that at first. But then again, she picked him for a reason. It was probably time for the Knight to start expecting a little more out of her own students. After all, Bernael and Ayami were both soaring well above any expectations she had set. It was likely that the young lad was going to do the exact same, even if it ended up taking a little bit just to get him started.
It was very much like pushing a boulder uphill. The first half is the hardest part, because gravity is working against you. But once you actually manage to get to the top of the hill... Pushing the boulder becomes much easier. The logic could be applied to grasping the art of fighting. Once Christopher knew the basic fundamentals of fighting, the rest would likely settle right into place. This time, the young lad closed the distance and seemed to be able to maintain the stance a little more accurately. He swung his blade with purpose; although it wasn't perfect at first.
The Albino Saiyan moved her blade to block each incoming strike, but she noticed the differences in each one. They were becoming just a little bit better, his improvement was rather amazing to behold. She liked seeing this in her students... But soon after that, Atsuko noticed that his eyes had appeared to glaze over somewhat, as if he was recalling a moment in his past. Or at the very least, he wasn't 'entirely there', if that made sense. There was something clouding his mind, and that meant he wasn't pooling his all into maintaining the stance properly. His movements were becoming flawed.
Christopher seemed to come back to reality eventually, and his attacks slowed. A final clash of their blades would send him back somewhat, but he was still standing and just as determined as ever. He soared back into the fray with a more controlled speed, and his attacks showed that same level. It was finally start to click for the young lad. There was one final clash of blades, and Christopher used the momentum to his advantage to back flip away. Finally, he asked if he had done it. The Albino Saiyan smiled lightly, and gave a nod.
"You did well. This stance, along with your sword will be able to see you through many perils. You will no longer need to worry about untrained attacks exerting too much of your energy; and you will no longer have to solely rely upon your techniques to fight your foes.", the Knight began her response. "With this, you'll be able to fight more tactically. You can save your techniques and your energy for critical moments. If it doesn't entirely make sense... Well, you just need to practice until it becomes clear.", the Saiyan would then add. But more than just the stance...
He needed to learn the techniques. Once he knew them, he could very well move beyond the Beginner's stage already. But that was a discussion for once he was exhausted; and he would be. There was going to be three techniques for him to learn. The first one... "Your next lesson is going to be about the technique called Invisible Air. With it, you will be able to channel your energy, as well as Excalibur's power into your sword. I'll demonstrate it for you, so if you can sense energy... That would help you very much so."
With that, the Knight would turn to the woman in red. Just like before, the pair took stance. The Albino Saiyan then began to flare up her energy and channel it into her blade. Rather than glowing, it became enveloped by a wind. "Once you've collected your power... Strike at your enemy like so!", the Saiyan added, as she surged forth and unleashed a flurry of slashes at Excalibur, who proceeded to move her blade to block each one. This technique seemed to operate off of the same principles as the stance itself, so the real trick was gathering the energy for it...
But that shouldn't be an issue for Christopher, once she was done demonstrating Invisible Air, she calmly turns back towards the young lad and resumes stance. "There's one more thing to keep in mind... Controlling the winds may prove difficult, especially for the later stages of the technique. Make sure that you hold your blade steady, otherwise the winds may fling it out of your hands.", the Albino Saiyan explained. "When you're ready... I want you to use that technique on me.", Atsuko added. With that it was time to see if he could keep up momentum now that he knew the basic stance.
Ayami had a rough start, just like he did. But she learned fast once she made that first step in the right direction, in the end it didn't exactly matter; the Knight was a patient individual and she would train with her students as long as necessary. In her mind, it would prove to be necessary. If she wanted everyone she cared about to be safe, they needed to know how to defend themselves... There would be situations where she wouldn't always be around to defend them. She couldn't coddle them as if they would always be children, either.
It was easier for her to challenge everything by herself, and convince them to never have to fight... But it was also unfair; and it wouldn't always work. There would be a day when dark forces grew to be so numerous that she would turn her back to fight a war on one front, and then another would start behind her. This gave her allies to count on and saved her friends' lives when the situation truly called for it. Besides, maybe this would make Leena calm down a little bit... For both her own and Christopher's sake.
She meant well, but Atsuko would swear that one day she might smother the poor lad...
WC: 1,021 Total WC: 5,079 ______________ Atsuko demonstrated Invisible Air [OT-1] with Excalibur!
Chris was simply running through the feeling in his mind, anticipation, worry, nervousness. While he waited for an answer to if he had done well truly or not. He had noticed how Atsuko had been studying him when he had calculated his own mistakes with his blade. Was that what she might have been thinking about? The next question was why was he feeling so nervous all of a sudden? Yet maybe it was because this was the first time he was truly being taught by a teacher that were causing these strings of the thoughts bundled together? He was going to go with that in hopes that it is what he truly it just worried about.
Chris continued to wait patiently as he felt the adrenaline that was still pumping into his veins and the blood within them. Most likely from the training he had been put through. Though he enjoyed the feeling of how slowed down everything felt when in reality it wasn't and time was just moving at the exact same speed as normal. He still didn't really like how it was happening right now due to how each millisecond of waiting for a reply from his mentors felt like hours to him mentally. He just needed to relax his head a little bit without getting to relaxed. There is still training he has left to do and he can't slack off on it.
That was when after what had felt to be an extremely long trip in time, she had spoken how he had done good, how he would be able to use the form to help gain his breath back instead of using techniques which would be a life saver. He had used that similar tactic before on Galen. When he would launch his attacks Chris would counter with his blows to continuously counter off each other...atleast until they ended up knocking each other out....in the middle of a desert. Another thing to keep hidden from Leena.. Another thing to never ever tell her. How long was this list going to grow before it would come to an end?
Chris went to nod in response to his mentor as she mentioned his need for practice however. That would be rather easy for him to do. It would be terrible atleast in that speculation. However he was finding it intrigued with how she began to flow her ki into the blade she was holding. This must be one of the techniques of the school and his guess would only prove to be right once she answered. "Don't worry Master Atsuko, I can sense energy. I can feel yours right now, how it's being channeled into the blade. Sorta like how I would charge my Dawnriser attack but rather instead of an external force I would need to focus it instead into my blade." Chris would say as he watched his mentor.
It would seem that he was getting extremely interested as he watched Atsuko demonstrate the technique against Excalibur. He loved how the wind formed around the blade to form a litteral slice of air to say of short. However the tricky part was gathering the energy for the attack as it requires the energy of ones self as well as the energy of Excalibur. Though as he watched Atsuko slashed with her flurry of slices e couldn't help but wonder if he could add a certain level of finesse to it to make it stand out from how everyone else saw him doing it. That was what he planned to do this on his own technique.
As he grasped onto his blade and acknowledged towards Atsuko with a know to signify that he was ready he began to allocate the ki within him towards the very blade he was holding. He was pouring his own energy into it but not too much. He made that mistake when he was less experience and it ahead cost him a lot of energy. Instead he tried to grasp onto the powers of excalibur as well to combine it with his own as he released it into the blade just like how he would do with his final Revenger attack. Only instead of his fist he was motioning it towards his blade and hints of wind wer beggining to grasp it as he focused within it. He relaxed his breath to a cool quick slip as he launched towards Atsuko, still knowing she could block. He continued to hold the stance of his martial arts however as he began to launch his own fury of swipes at her. However with his own little top he let go of the blade for his final slash as he used the wind to launch the blade into the air only for him to jump up and slam downward with it, using the force of gravity for its final blow.
As he backed away he felt as his stamina was drained a little from that attack but he couldn't help but smile as he had managed to get it to work so well to his own liking as well. He silently thanked Excalibur for the energy with the blade as he looked up towards his mentor with a wonderful look of whether they were still going to continue. Adrenaline was pumping in his veins and he wasn't ready to give up on training just yet. Ha not even close to a chance.
The young lad was capable of sensing energy, that was good! More than that, he seemed to be able to tell how the energy was channeled. Even with the help of a demonstration, it was impressive that he was able to deduce that much out of seeing it one time. Her students really were something else... Then again, Excalibur probably felt something similar about Atsuko; she mastered the entire style within just one day. A feat that not many can claim to have accomplished. At the moment there was only herself, and then her first student, which was Bernael. He made just as much progress in such a short time span.
So that left Ayami and Christopher. The Water Elemi was able to grasp the basic fundamentals, but the training method coupled with her inexperience and the Heavy Weights... That all meant she wasn't able to continue even onto the Intermediate portion. But the Knight knew well that once Ayami was all rested up, it would be right back to another training session. The Knight looked forward to it. But she had to save such thoughts for later. She was training one student right now! Christopher was still in the middle of learning the basics...
The young lad began to channel his energy, just as she had shown. The Knight observed as she held her stance, he seemed to have few issues with preparing it. Though it did take him a little bit to get used to the new method, that made sense. Either way the Albino Saiyan was waiting patiently for him. She didn't have to wait very long at all, Christopher shot forward and began to use the wind to his advantage. The Knight moved her blade to block each incoming slash, though there was a slight interruption on his final attack.
Instead of following through with a final slash, he tossed his blade up into the air and ascended in order to grasp it. He then soared downwards at the Albino Saiyan, intent on striking her with a powerful blow; but even despite all of the preparation that went into it... Atsuko held strong in the face of his attack. After that he backed away, and seemed to be satisfied with the results. The Knight was smiling. "Well done! You even managed to put your own variation onto the technique... I wasn't expecting that.", the Saiyan commented on his usage.
"Now, your next lesson is going to be for the technique called Mana Burst... Like before, you will be channeling your energy into your body as well as your weapon... Then you will instantly expel it in order to increase your performance; to put it simply, it's like recreating a jet burst. I'll demonstrate it for you.", the Knight would begin her next lesson. Her gaze turned to the woman in red, who was already moving to the far side of the Reality Marble. It wasn't much longer before Excalibur reached her destination, turned back to her and then took stance.
Atsuko proceeded to take stance as well... Her energy gathering at an impressive rate, but then she began to move. And with each step she expelled her energy, which caused her stride to build up a massive momentum. She closed the distance between herself and the Sacred Sword in barely any time at all, and carried through on the momentum with a strong slash. Excalibur had no issues in blocking it, just like in the previous demonstrations. But now that was out of the way, Atsuko turns her attention to Christopher once more, and then she begins to speak...
"Now! When you're ready, use Mana Burst to close the distance and attack me! It may sound difficult, but given how you were able to place your own variation on Invisible Air... I think you'll do just fine!", the Saiyan spoke loud enough for the young lad to hear her, even despite the large distance between them. With that, the Knight resumed proper stance and waited for him to begin using Mana Burst. The Sacred Sword was standing next to her, pondering for a moment. "Hmm... He's a rather interesting young man. He's the brother of Leena?", she inquired to the Knight.
"I don't think they're actually related... His clothes, mannerisms, and... Honestly, even his name all imply that he was raised on Earth. But there is no doubting that she's attached to him.", the Albino Saiyan replied. "I see... Do you think that might be a problem?", she then asked. Atsuko thought it over for a moment. "I don't quite understand what you mean, Excalibur.", the Saiyan responded. The Sacred Sword lets out a small sigh in reply. "She's... Rather quick to come to her own conclusions on things, you know? She could easily take this the wrong way, somehow."
The woman in red added. "You may be right... Actually, I've noticed more than a few odd things with Leena lately...", the Albino Saiyan stated. She was referring to the fact that the Saiyan Bounty Hunter was starting up her own faction. The Knight didn't have all of the details, but it was intended for there to be at least nine Commanders. That meant there was a huge army in the works. But even more than that, the fact that they were constructing a base on Earth also hadn't gone unnoticed by the Albino Saiyan. But most concerning of all...
It was something that Leena said when she formed this group called 'The Lanza'. How Atsuko was someone that they might need to encounter later. Perhaps she was just overthinking it, but she opted not to pry anymore than she already had with her Far-Seeing Arts back then... Now, she was beginning to regret that a little. There were far too many examples of the Knight sparing someone only for them to turn on her later. The Saiyan made a mental note to herself to watch the Lanza closely, and act if any more suspicious behavior cropped up.
Not start a war, of course. But deal with any potential issues and misunderstandings before they become so much more than that... For now, she had to set it aside. Besides, she didn't want Christopher to hear this type of conversation and get the wrong impression. Leena wasn't her enemy... At least, not yet. Hopefully it would stay that way.

Chris relaxed a bit as he listened to his mentors suprise of how he had changed the technique at the end. He smiled a little sheepishly at that as he began to speak. "Thank you Master Atsuko, I wanted to try and add my own variation towards the end to see if I could trick you up possibly. Even if I suprised you at the end I can tell that your experience allowed you to still move fast enough to block the attack. It really was impressive how fast you moved." Chris would comment as he looked towards her waiting for the next lesson. He did indeed feel a little drained on that attack however.
He hadn't guessed how much ki that attack would have drained from him at first but it was alright, he still had his strength with him. He wasn't out for the count of this yet that was for sure. However he couldn't help but watch as she began explaining the technique of how it worked in actuality. The user would explode their energy outwards in a attempt to create a momentum of energy to use in a strike. He could see many way how that could be used to benefit his own styles of combat and watched intrigued as she continued to explain even more in debt of it. As she began explaining he was fining the concept easier and easier to accept and to acknowledge how it would work.
However like always there was the visual demonstration as he watched his mentor's focus slow as it was brought to decide upon her ki as it began to flow around her. It was interesting to watch because he could feel the power of the ki just from here. It was such an immense power that he knew it would take himself many months just to come close to that kind of power. Possibly even years! Yet that was what drove his motivation even further as he studied her. The way her movements was made and how her body was reacting to each slight push of force from the ki. He was studying these part so that he could truly learn how to get this technique done.
He couldn't help but feel a bit of ethusiasm watching such power. It reminded him hat he was going to buy heavy weights soon to help with his training. Though he continued watching Atsuko's form and technique of the Mana Burst he knew that his own was going to take some getting used to. Atleast it would be until he could get it to work. With his own determination st in goal he watched with each bit of des tail awaiting for his mentor to finish with the example she was showing to him. He was honestly excited to try it out himself. However as Atsuko began to come close to a finish he was starting to feel a little nervous. This was a dangerous technique he would be attempting. He would need to be especially careful about it when he went to try it.
Once she gave the word for him to begin he lost all focus of the conversation her and Excalibur were having. He wouldn't have noticed anything they had said about Leena and the Lamza. He was too focused upon his blade as he began focusing his ki into the force of his body before beginning to expel it. He had meant to do it just to test it out and not launch anything just yet but of course fate had other plans in mind and Chris was not going to be on the good side of that receiving end. He had forgot to hold a tight grip on his blade as he expelled the force upon the blade and his body causing it to fly up to the air. He couldn't see where it would have landed because of the sun but as soon as he heard it clank the ground..
Chris turned around as he looked at his blade lying upon the ground but however he noticed a large pile of black hair that was cut by the blade. His own hair. When the blade had launched upward it had launched to land and cut out the long part of his hair leaving it somewhat half spiky while also making it shorter than before. That was an energy technique that had cut it as well so that meant his hair was stuck like this. "Cr*p Baskets." Chris would say as he felt the now shorter hairstyle he had. Atleast it still looked nice but he was going to miss his long hair for sure. How couldn't he? Though he knew one thing for sure. He was going to be regretting a video call with Leena the next time he saw her. She was going to freak.
He couldn't give up though. Even if he had lost a big chunk of length of his hair at least it was trimmed and wasn't cut down to his back anymore. Though it left him disappointed he pushed the hair aside on the ground and grabbed his blade. He focused once more upon expelling his energy like a jet burst but this time however he was more careful as to keeping his grip tight on the blade. He didn't plan on making the very same mistake twice now.
He launched himself towards Atsuko with the force of the burst while reserving a bit of the burst to push his blade strikes down harder than normal but he knew that with her skill would still be able to block them and or counter them but he wanted to add his own variance into the attack to distinguish himself from the possible other students. He wanted to be different and strive for stronger. He may be a Saiyan like his mentor but also like her he had a pure heart to keep him pushing towards his goal and he didn't plan on letting anything change that up soon.
Christopher commented on her impressive speed, and the Knight couldn't help but smile a little in response to that. It was true, due to her much greater power, she was capable of an incredible amount of speed. However, the young lad would be capable of making movements just as fast one day, all of her students would reach that type of level. Firsthand she was able to see how fast all of them could progress, even Bernael, who was arguably one of the strongest on Earth right now. It may have been accurate to say that the Albino Saiyan was the strongest, but...
It was a bit of an unfair competition to count her among everyone else. She was under a constant training regime to care for and defend an entire world. Not many people could make such a claim and genuinely mean it. Some might say it when they become rulers, or because they feel that it's what a hero would do... But very rarely did people act on it. The people that did come to her in order to train, however... They seemed to be the types that would become proper heroes one day, they just needed a little push to get them started.
Her Martial Arts could be viewed as exactly that push. Fortunately, it seemed that he didn't overhear the conversation that she and the Sacred Sword were having as well. It's not as if Atsuko was intending to just raid Leena and her group and strike them down mercilessly, or view them as criminals... But the behavior was very suspect. Still, the last thing she wanted to do was make things more uneasy than they potentially already were, and besides all that, he needed to focus on his training! Christopher seemed to be doing exactly that.
He was already channeling his energy for Mana Burst, the Albino Saiyan observing as best as she could from the far distance. However, disaster nearly struck! He didn't keep a strong hold on his blade... Causing it to fling out of his hands and nearly take the young lad's head off! The Saiyan couldn't help but gasp at the sight, but feel a measure of relief when he seemed to be alright, just... Very surprised at what had taken place, anyone would have been. That was seriously a little too close for comfort... Atsuko lets out a relieved sigh.
"I think he was trying to give me a heart attack...", the Albino Saiyan stated to the woman in red. "He nearly succeeded for both of us!", Excalibur responded. It took them both a little bit to compose themselves, but just the fact that Christopher seemed to be perfectly fine put them at ease. He began to pick up his blade and try again... "Just be careful! That was too close last time!", the Knight warned, but she had a good feeling that he wouldn't be making the same mistake twice, that meant she needed to be ready for when he closed the distance.
So the Albino Saiyan resumed proper stance, visibly appearing much calmer now that the initial shock had settled. As she had anticipated, the young lad was able to use his energy to propel himself forward at an impressive rate, and even used some of his leftover energy to further fuel his slash; the Saiyan raised her blade to stop it in it's tracks. As with before, the Knight smiled at another technique that he managed to pull off successfully. "Very good! There's only one more lesson for the Beginner's portion, now...", the Saiyan began to explain.
"The next technique you will be learning involves Avalon. Excalibur's Sheath, it holds special properties that allow you to heal yourself, and others. By uttering a prayer, you will be able to use this power to do exactly that... However, while you primarily make use of Avalon's ability, it still calls upon your energy; the more severe the wound you try to reverse, the more energy you will expend in doing so. Keep this in mind, and use it wisely.", the Saiyan continued her explanation, and then she began to remove her gauntlet, rolling up the sleeve of her robes shortly after.
"Seeing as how neither of us are injured, but you still need to learn how to use the technique...", the Saiyan commented, then moving her sword to her arm and carefully cutting into it. It wasn't deep, and if Atsuko had to be honest about it... The pain barely even registered in her mind. Regardless, now that was out of the way, she made a gesture for him to sit down, before doing the same herself. "Now, I don't know if you've done meditation, but if you have... That will help you use the technique, if you haven't..."
The Knight would continue her instructions, now taking on a softer tone of voice to allow him to focus. "It's very simple, you need to calm yourself. Close your eyes and slow down your breathing... You may experience various sensations. Inner Energies aligning back to their proper places, sudden moments of revelation... It's different for everyone.", the Saiyan added. "Regardless, eventually you will feel 'ready'. And at that point, I want you to utter this prayer; 'Avalon, I call upon your power. Restore that which has become broken. Let strength be granted so that the world might be mended.", she explained.
With that, there were no further instructions she had to share with him. This was something of a personal milestone that her students had to overcome. Patience was just as important to Martial Arts as power and skill were, it was quite potentially the most difficult step in learning the Style... Even more, the fact that learning three techniques had taken place always meant that her students were left feeling drained almost entirely of their energy. While it was very possible that Christopher was capable of learning more, the question was, would he want to do so, or continue it later?
Well, she would have to ask that once he learns this final technique...

Well Atsuko wasn't wrong or Excalibur either. He had in fact came very close to chopping his own head off and that really wouldn't look good when he met with Leena when she came back. Gods the nightmares he could see happening from that. He doubt even Atsuko could stop that rage of losing a brother. He did indeed wonder how he was going to explain this hair cut to her though. That was indeed going to be quite difficult. However he had a feeling she would be fine with it as long as he was okay. Well he hoped she would be okay and not just lock him in a room that he couldn't break out of...why did he think that..now he just added more worry to the thought.
He couldn't help but truly want to reach the level of strength his mentor had reached. If he could one day when he did reach that level his mentor would be well past him again...always good to drive for that goal though. He had a goal to keep and like he said before he didn't plan on losing it anytime soon to just a few doubts. Frankly he loved his master as a great friend. She was willing teaching him these skills. He felt almost indebted to her and looked forwards to her Knights of the Round. It really was an intriguing idea. Something that he strives now to help however he could. In any way he can.
He looked forwards to fighting as well as she did. He knew why was mainly because of his blood but he looked forward to another kind of fighting. To be able to fight with his friends and partners to help with taking down evil threats. Anyone who would want to attack Earth would have to watch out. As long as they had a way to protect Earth with all of them he couldn't help but feel as if the earth would always be around. That no one would ever be able to destroy it however he had to avoid his cockiness. He couldn't let that fly. He had to let himself fight calmly in the order of his style. He had to be careful with that lest he wished to befall upon a stronger enemy who would be entirely willing to kill him.
Chris looked forward as he let out a little laugh as he rubbed his hand through his now shorter hair. "Well I won't lie though that it wasn't expected. Well to learn something new is to lose something. Besides I think I kind of like the look. I think I can grow used to its shorter style." Chris would say with a continued joyful laugh. Yea he was going to miss his long hair but he could grow used to it. Besides his hair wasn't the most important thing to him. The only thing that sucked about it was that it wouldn't grow back due to being cut with an energy infused attack with his blade.
He listened as she began to explain that there was only one last technique for him to learn and he wouldn't lie that he was excited to learn it. Even if he felt a little exhausted as it was by ammount of techniques and training he already had done before it still brought out the excitement that he knew only could happen when he was truly pumping adrenaline. Though his exhaustion was still there it just was being well hidden by his pure determination to master this school. Ha with it he knew that he could work to accomplish eventually. No matter how long it was going to take.
Atsuko began to explain how the next technique worked. How the user would focus their energy and also offer a small prayer to summon the sheath of Excalibur to heal wounds. This was honestly possibly his favorite technique of all. To be able to heal other was something he considered a blessing as that and to be able to help those he could help before because of injuries they suffered...he knew that he just had to master this attack. Not for mainly his own personal use but for others who would truly need it. That was the real reason he desired for this technique.
Chris couldn't help but notice how Atsuko wasn't demonstrating this technique this time. Rather it seemed she was just trying to show him something as he got closer. However he wasn't prepaired for what he saw. He watched as she began to cut herself. He couldn't help but feel extremely worried at first and why she was letting him handle this one. Even if she didn't feel fazed by cutting herself he still was a little nervous at first. Yet he was beggining to feel a little more confident as he thought of it. She trusted him enough to let him preform this upon her than he should trust her just as much and heal her.
He sat down infront of her as he began to meditate. He was focusing his energy into something he didn't even know. He was just forming it to something he could use to help others. As he was pushing into his own mind however he found an area of it he couldn't get close to and seemingly expanding. A block of darkness. He couldn't stop running from it. The more he ran the stronger it grew in his mind. No...the fear was making it stronger. He had to face the darkness head on with no more running. As he neared it he pushed himself through with a glow of light as he exited his mental mind to see himself holding a energy form of excalibur's sheath. It still wasn't finished yet. It was not held to get her fully. "Please, Excalibur give me strength to heal those who have done nothing but helped me follow my dreams, the ones who sacrafice to help me." Chris would say in his prayer only loud enough for the both of his mentors to barely hear it. That was when he felt it formed and attempted to heal the cut of Atsuko as it would close up to the point of which there wouldn't even be a scar left from the cut. However his eyes were really hard to keep open as he found himself absolutely exhausted.
