Chris had been enjoying his training sessions lately with Master Atsuko and Master Excalibur. He was learning so much from them, but from when he noticed the way she was treating him it seemed like she had other students as well. Who could they have been? Frankly he hoped to meet them as well someday soon. He didn't know why but he was finding everything just so peaceful from here on the lookout. He smiled at the thought and joy of it as he began looking onwards towards the sky. Towards the clouds that seemingly blocked out any vision from under them. It was magical but he couldn't help but feel that something was missing. Was his sister all right? He hadn't seen her in a week now and he worried about her. He knew she was alive, he could feel it within his heart. Though why was it that he felt that she was about to do something horrible. Leena would never do that. She cared too much about the others. Even if she wouldn't admit it he could tell. This thinking only began to continue and continue until Chris heard something that made him freeze. His stomach has grumbled. With a full hearted laugh he pulled put a piece of cloth form his back pack and laid it out right where he could see the skyline.
Pulling out a capsule from inside his backpack he tossed it onto the picnic spot of sorts as food popped out of it. From a whole turkey to grapes to even hot dogs. This was frankly a normal meal for a Saiyan. If anything it was a snack. Chris proceeded to sit down and cut into the turkey. It was a well cooked turkey for sure and he grabbed a rather big piece and ate it with the speed Saiyans are known for with their hunger. He enjoyed the mouthwatering that of the light brown meat as it sparked each of his taste buds. He only began to close his eyes and enjoy the meal before he realized the entire turkey was gone. He had ate the entire thing without reallizing it. With a laugh of joy and purity he grabbed one of the green grapes and tossed it in his mouth. Grapes were such an amazing fruit with their succulent juices and smooth texture. Though it seemed this one was sour as he spit it out with a blegh. The grape however falling off the edge of the lookout to never be seen again.
"The last time I ever store grapes in a capsule. Kami that was disgusting." Chris would say as he continued to wipe off his tounge with disgust from the sour grape. While he was doing this however he began to sense that of a rather pure ki with a feeling of water? Weird but he pushed it aside. Whoever it was probably just had business with the Kami or her Asssistant. However that was when he noticed something. The ki was already here! It seemed they were coming towards him from the inside of the lookout but who were they?
That Water Elemi walled right out of the Palace, yawning a bit, her hands calmly rubbing the back of her head as she looked a little dazed...The kind of dazed you get from a long sleep. Her PL might have felt a little below his...But a clever mind could tell it was supressed as a result of the training weights she wore, those weights which once made her movements sluggish and awkward had become nearly normal in such a short time, carried around as though those weights were an extension of herself. She headed right towards that picnic that had been set up as soon as she spotted it, seeing a boy there, his energy lit up rather brightly as it eminated off of him, she guessed it was almost exactly matched to hers, an estimate that likely wasn't that far from the truth. She calmly came closer and closer, her hair messied from the sleep she had gotten, she just giggled to herself, stopping in front of him.
"I was out for so long~... What's that good smellll?" She rubbed the top of her head for a moment, then going on to rub her eyes a bit as she looked at the saiyan, her curiosity taking over. "Who are you? My name is Ayami! Are you a saiyaaan?" A good call as she looked at his tail, Atsuko had recently taught Ayami about the saiyans, what they were, and what they looked like...Though he didn't seem bloodthirsty, nor did he really look all that interested in war. She was a little confused, maybe she was wrong? Maybe there were other races with a tail like that...
"Heeeey, whatcha doing? I smelled good food, is that here? It smells like it's here!" The sleepyheaded Elemi's stomach rumbled a little, it seems the only thing that brought her there was the smell of a cooked turkey... Not that she herself minded the details, she was hungry. She decided to sit down next to him, regardless of whether or not she was getting food, after all, there was no sense in just standing there like she was lost, the friendly girl had worked surprisingly fast in approaching, asking so many questions, and sitting right down, it probably left a little confusion from this girl who seemed to have no serious nature right now as she laughed a little. "Are those grapeeees? I love grapes. I like fruit in general." She continued to giggle at herself, she still needed time to fully wake up, and...Certainly the Kami wouldn't be there to wake her up all the way, she herself was taking a nap in that chair! Still, Ayami gave off quite the friendly atmosphere, there was not a lot of concern for her intentions, even if she hadn't made them very clear as she did. Though, perhaps he would appreciate company, the girl wouldn't be in this tired state for too much longer, especially if they started talking about things she liked, goes without saying that she could never be sleepy and half-there when it came to martial arts.
Chris had been delightfully enjoying the rest of his food when the girl had approached. Wow her eyes were so blue! Chris looked at the girl that approached and wondered who she was for a second and why she was doing on the lookout, heck why was she in the lookout. That was until she said her name was Ayami. It would only be polite to respond back. Her ki felt so much like water itself though. He figured that it was only suppressed by the armor she was wearing and he accepted that. It was how a lot of people got stronger and frankly he needed to invest into some later on when he got the chance. Though he had a feeling plus with what he could sense of her ki, he couldn't see any harm in letting her stay. Besides he would really enjoy the company in all honesty. He was getting really lonely without his sister. He wondered what she was doing though? Where was she? He shook the thoughts out of his head as he looked back at the blue headed girl. He motioned for her to go ahead and take a seat before he would begin explaining.
"My name is Christopher but everyone calls me Chris, but yeah I am a Saiyan. I was raised on earth however by my parent, well adopted parents, two humans. My master is Atsuko the guardian of the lookout and her blade Excalibur. Do you know her though? I'm going to assume yes since you were sort of inside the lookout just a few moments ago." Chris would say as he studied the Elemi. He hadn't really met an Elemi before but he loved how their ki felt so much like the elements. It was honestly really interesting and he couldn't help but love how her eyes were so blue compared to his black ones. He noticed how she was looking towards the food with hunger though. "You can have what ever you like, though the grapes went sour I'm sorry to say." Chris would say in advance as he motioned to let her enjoy the meal with him. How couldn't he in all reality? It just wasn't in his nature to be rude or mean to anyone without a fair reason. He wondered how old she was though? He was only fifteen himself but it was still something he wondered of her.
As he began to feel the hunger sink in however once more he reached over to grab a hot dog before chomping on it. He loved the succulent taste of the meat along with the fact of having someone here to talk to. Frankly he would have like to talk to Arion as well maybe but he could be such a downer sometimes. Though he was the first one to ever help him train and he would always appreciate that. He still couldn't help however but wonder where Gouken was as well. They had been together even when they had climbed Korin's tower together. He remember the joy filled feeling they had when they reached the top only for it to have been ruined when they sensed the death from a recent battle that had happened there. That wasn't his favorite memory with Gouken. He could feel the death and the pain that had rested in the lookout. No one was there either and it just made it real creepy.
She smiled sincerely, much as she always tended to do, taking a seat next to him, she rubbed her eyes a little, finally waking up completely. "Hellooo Chris~" She gave a small wave even though they were both sitting next to eachother, she listened to him speaking before herself talking. "An adopted child? Ah...It's a small world." She waited a second before continuing. "I was adopted as well! My papa certainly worked hard raising me on his own. Humans aren't really used to raising Elemi...I was quite a handful~!" She laughed to herself a little, letting him continue on more before she answered his question. "It seems we have a lot in common! She's training me too, we're best friends!" She rubs the back of her head, grinning brightly. "I was taking a nap...Heheh!"
She nodded on being given permission to eat, and picked up a little bit of something simple to chew on, likely as he had more to say, perhaps. She didn't yet know what to think of him, he seemed very friendly, she could appreciate that, as if they were something of kindred spirits, almost. She did quite like company, and it was certainly welcome to have met him here, even if she wasn't yet familiar with him. There didn't seem to be anyone else around at the moment, really. Still, the Lookout was probably one of her favorite new places to be, the views were incredible from up there...And it was always so peaceful, she could imagine only one other place as nice as this one, that was home...But at home, she didn't have her friends there to stay with her, she ultimately preferred this place because of that. Being close to her friends, it gave her purpose, it gave her drive, it wasn't a lie to say a lot of what she managed to pull off through her training was because of them.
"Do you have any other friends? I would love to meet them! I love meeting new people as long as they're friendly. It's so nice talking to someone new every now and then! I was so sick of being sectioned off to a little island...Nobody new and interesting ever came there!" She didn't hate her little island, nor it's village where she stayed, but she did hate the lack of people willing to come there, she knew they were justified, it was nothing more than a tiny island with a fishing village, not many people appreciate something like that, and rightfully so. Most tourists stayed for the beach and completely avoided the village and it's residents, it all smelled like fish...
But she was getting off topic, she was living in the moment now, talking to someone new and interesting, she wanted to hear all about his friends, maybe a little about himself, too. She had a few other questions to ask first, though...It was hard to keep this girl from asking questions, she often did so frequently, it was kind of second nature to her at this point to fulfill her curiosity. "You look like a martial artist! I love that kind of stuff! I mean...You're training under 'Suko, so I guess that makes you one without me having to ask...But I mean, you have the look of one! You'd fit in Budokai Tenkaichi!" She smiled at him, it was a pretty big complement in her books.
Chris began to smile sincerely as well as she first began to speak. He didn't know why but it really did warm his heart to meet a fellow student like this. He couldn't help but continue this smile as she said her rather funny version of a hello. "The thing about my adopted parent are that they are dead. They were murdered by bandits....the bandits were the first time my rage ever took control and well...I ended up killing them. Not one of my happiest moments but it did lead me on a path to meeting some of the best I could ever have met." Chris would say taking a bit of a pause as he thought about it for a second.
He still blamed himself for their deaths somewhat. If he had been there faster hecould have saved them but he hadn't been strong enough than yet. He only wished that he could have defeated them before his parents had burned alive. With his smile quickly turning to a frown as he burrowed in thought he pushed it farther out of his mind as he tried to focus on the new. He needed to get stronger yes but he needed to look upon how far he had gotten already. He had gotten to points of which he never thought possible before. Heck he was being trained by someone who had become probably the greatest friend he had ever had besides Gouken.
He was thankful for the company he had now though. It was something he felt was only giving him even more of a drive to push himself. She probably wouldn't realize it but just by her being here he felt as if he wasn't the weakest. That he could still push himself towards new heights. He had told Master Atsuko of how he wanted to be as strong as her one day. He didn't plan on letting that dream die anytime soon as well. He was going to push towards his strength. He could do this no matter what some might have said before. He wasn't willing to give up and he doubted any of his friends would have wanted that either.
That was when she asked if he had any other friends. He couldn't see any harm in telling her of those he trusted greatly. "Well first there is my friend Gouken, he's the descendant of a famous martial artist, he was actually the one who first showed me the ways of martial arts. Nothing refined of course but just the basics of how to block and the lessons on how to dodge.....yea...dodge.. Next would be Galen. When I first met him we were escorting an injured man to get healed. Later we had a fight that was so evenly matched that we ended up knocking each other out for a day. Though frankly I would trust my life with him or Atsuko the most. Finally is Leena, she is my sister not by blood but rather how we treat each other. She is a little too over protective of me but luckily she is on another planet." Chris would say with a little bit of a laugh towards the end.
She quite enjoyed being here, making a new friend who seemed to appreciate her company, it was nice to meet someone as enthusiastic about training as she was, to have a like-minded person around her, she hadn't really met anyone that matched her enthusiasm before, maybe though...She wasn't so odd after all, still, she listened to him as he spoke, her expression taking on one of concern. She felt like she had to say something, but what could she really say? She had never gone through something like that...In fact, it seemed a running theme that all of her friends had gone through hardship, and she wasn't able to relate. It's not like she wanted to have hardship, but as it was, she felt she couldn't help them very well.
"Well, I don't know if I can really help much there, but...That sounds like justice to me, making your family get back at them for something like that..." She kept what she said rather brief, it probably wasn't the most eloquintly put, but she said exactly what she thought, nothing more, nothing less. Maybe it wouldn't mean much to him, he probably thought the same way at times, but she had said it in a way that she felt sounded comforting, in a soft yet understanding tone of voice.
"...Sometimes...Things happen that...We don't really have any control over. It's just...Destiny, I guess." She left that statement vague, she had her own demons to her past, but she wasn't going to just blurt them out, they were too much trouble, they might cost her reputation with her friends if she said it, changing their views of her...The people of her village...Well... "The people in my village...Kind of just stare down at me with distrust, they always did. All except for Papa and the Elder, they're nice. I guess maybe they're just afraid or something..." She had decided to share her own small story, though it was kept vague, only speaking what she had to.
She still had her doubts, she was always so happy, but there were other emotions to her, it wasn't always so sunny in her life, not when she had so much to deal with, when destiny and fate always stood in her way, no matter how much she protested. She wasn't going to talk about it, because...Her life was okay right now, and only bringing it up made her feel bad, so she just kept quiet, but then he answered her on his other friends. She listened intently. "Leena..." For some reason, that name sounded familiar to her, like she could almost put the name to a face if she had to, but it wasn't a name she recognized, and she had met many strange people lately, she passed it off as nothing more than a bit of confusion and continued to listen to him speak, though eventually she had some things to say as well. "Another planet???" Her eyes practically lit up at those words, she had never thought much about space travel...But seeing a new world, finding new people to interact with, it did excite her quite a bit as she thought of it all.
