Chris was frankly not having the best experiences here on Natto lately. First he had to register his ship which had taken hours to get done and just when he thought he could relax and enjoy the city he saw some stranger with a tattoo on their head talking to Kinoko about someone they both followed. How could he relax rather after that. Frankly he didn't know who to trust on this planet as it seemed the deeper he entered the city the more it became filled with lies to cover the mistakes. The only one he knew he could trust was his sister and even then she held back from telling him of any of this or the fact that she was a sargent.
He just needed to relax. He was going to be fine as long as the others didn't find out that he actually didn't like fighting. The only times he found it okay were when it was just sparring for fun or if there was no other options and he especially disliked the last one. He despised killing and he despised fighting. That was just the saiyan he was. He knew that if others were to find out then who knows what they would do to him. That was one of the reasons he had liked his mentor Atsuko. She respected his choice of disliking fighting but still insisted that he did whatever his heart believed was right. The question was what did his heart truly believe?
As he began walking he noticed what looked like a coliseum of some kind. Truth be told he had never seen one before so to see one here of all places he couldn't help but be curious. As he began walking in he couldn't help but notice something. He had entered in the wrong entrance. He had entered into the challenger's entrance. Hopefully it just wasn't too late for him to leave though. He really was trying to avoid fighting and if anything this wasn't going to help at all. As he began walking towards what he had thought to be the exit he almost sweatdropped upon realizing he had just walked right into the arena's entrance instead. Seriously his trip to natto had been nothing but bad luck so far...

To grow strong. That was the goal of most saiyans, be it Alliance or what used to be the Empire. It was in their blood and most of them didn’t even have a good reason for that. On hybrids this could be hindered a bit, and some wouldn’t even care all that much about this quest for strength at all. But sometimes a person has a reason to desire power. Sometimes they have a higher goal that requires strength. Negi was one of those, seeking strength but with a purpose: revenge. He wanted to avenge the death of his parents at the hands of the Planet Trade Organization three years ago. By doing so, he would also be protecting his home planet. It was a win win. Just recently he had discovered that, due to his 1/4 human blood, his power could grow at a much faster pace than the average saiyan, and now he was putting this trait to the fullest potential by taking several matches in the recently reopened Arena.
The 5’8” moderately bulky Corporal of the Saiyan Alliance was there, waiting for his next opponent. He was already at a winning streak of tree and showed no signs of being tired or injured. In fact, Negi had wiped the floor with his previous opponents and, somehow, deep inside of him, he carved for a real challenge. Once the next person stepped in, he could already sense it, a power beyond his own and that made him frown his brows, getting much more serious. ”A true challenger.” he thought to himself, making a brief nod. However, to his surprise, the saiyan boy who entered the arena didn’t seem like a soldier at all. His clothes were all pretty earthling like and he seemed rather lost. Negi arched one of his eyebrows as he stared at the boy.
– Hmm… Are you lost, sir? You seem like you are lost. – he said in a polite and curious tone. Negi, despite being a warrior, was a rather shy and polite teenager. He was only sixteen although he looked older because of his mixed blood.
Unlike Negi, Chris's goal rather was to be able to protect his friends and Ayami. While he knew he wasn't strong enough yet he still couldn't help but still have the dream. He had worked his way up from scratch and having to prove himself to his mentor. He didn't have any power ups or anything to help him train. It was all hard work that got him to where he was. The lack of a power up like so was exactly what got him this far in the first place. It was what pushed him still., even to this very day.
Chris had lot his parents to a rouge of thieves before he had even started. Well his adopted parents....but as he watched them get burned alive he had lost control of his rage and a darkness had been born. One of his Saiyan heritage. He had never been able to access that ever before as he had only been able to access that level of rage only once. He had felt absolutely horrible after massacring those thieves. Even though they had been murderers he still had found himself scarred by it. That was why he still avoided that darkness he found hidden in his ki, so hidden that it was only visible with in his own mind.
That was when Chris had noticed the red haired Saiyan standing there with what seemed to be a hint of pride. He must have been on a winning streak. He hoped that he didn't immeadiately see him as the next challenger. Luckily he hadn't and actually asked him if he was lost. The fifteen year old had to laugh slightly at that. "You could say that. I'm still new to Natto and was actually trying to see if I could find my sister Leena." Chris would say with a friendly smile.
Frankly if it had been anyone else with that kind of smile someone would have been suspicious but that just was how nice Chris really was. He was truly that nice and from what he could tell about this guy he seemed pretty nice as well. The question he still had in mind however was who were they. "In case you haven't noticed though I seem to always find myself in these kind of situations." Chris would say still with a friendly smile. In truth he wasn't lying, he seriously sometimes seemed to have the worst luck when being at an area right when trouble would happen. He sometimes swore he was a magnet.

The boy said that he was something like that, lost, and that he was looking for his sister whose name was Leena. Negi didn’t know Leena yet and, since she was new to the army, he didn’t have the opportunity to go through the updates yet and he just shrugged and shook his head. – Sorry, mister. Leena doesn’t ring a bell. Is she part of the army or just regular citizen? – the red haired saiyan asked. Then, Christopher said that he would always get himself into some sort of situation, and Negi took it as if he was referring to walking into fights, which made the red-haired saiyan to chuckle a bit, lightening the mood.
– You mean getting yourself into fights? Maybe that’s your saiyan blood attracting it! You know… From the looks in your eyes, you must be rather new here. Came from Earth, I take? – he politely asked. Unlike most saiyans Christopher may have met, Negi seemed like a pretty chill and nice guy. The Alliance had plenty of those, speaking the truth, but it also had plenty of more ruthless saiyan kinds too. It was mix and, although it was much better and much more friendly than the Empire could have ever dream of being, it was still a saiyan society.
Chris was still suprised from how friendly some of the others were here. Most Saiyans he encountered had always wanted to kill him for being some kind of traitor to the ways Saiyans were supposed to be.He never understood what they meant but he did know that it might be because they found out of his dislike of fighting. Why put of all the things he had to dislike was it fighting? Why was he so cursed to be a Saiyan born with this trait? It was something he really could never understand. Something he would never know how to truly understand.
That was when the Saiyan began speaking again of how he had never heard of her. That was disappointing to hear but yet he still could respect it. "Well from what I heard around here she's a Sargent of the army? Frankly I found out by accident of her whole double life here and I've been looking around for her. Mainly waiting for her." Chris would explain as he looked around at the collesuem. He was still amazed at such architecture. It really did look nice. It was always the little things that he loved to approach an question. Those were the things he loved.
Chris could help though but wonder what he might have been like if he had been raised here, if he had gotten it be able to know who his parents really were? But then he might not have ever met Atsuko or Leena, Cambia, or Galen, or Gouken, or even.....Ayami. No. He was happy with life he had now. He didn't want that to change ever. He really never wanted to lose his friends, they were the most important thing to him besides the Earth itself. He always worried about them especially now since he couldn't know what was happening on Earth.
"Yeah I from the planet Earth. It's always been my home for as long as I remember. I don't ever get to see that many other Saiyans there except for only three friends, only one being a full blooded Saiyan who trained me. She helped me out when I had begun feeling rather lonely and ashamed for having let a Majin destroy a town because I was too weak. I promised myself never to let that happen again. By situations I mean situations that do involve fighting usually...it's kinda funny...well ironic really....I guess I could tell you. I actually dislike fighting to the point that I only believe it right for sparring and just fun...otherwise...I absolutely despise it.." Chris would say as he let it be known. He was a Saiyan who disliked fighting. "Though I can tell from looking at you that you do want a spar. So why not. If you still want it we can have one."

Negi’s expression became quite thoughtful and he touched his lips with his thumb as he tried to remember about any Leena that would be a sergeant and about her having a double life and it finally rang a bell. – Ah! – he exclaimed. – She must be the new one. One of the new ones I mean. I remember us having a new sergeant and other officials, mostly privates, joining up from other places. I guess she was the one who came here a while ago with others, from Earth, if I’m not mistaken. I don’t personally know her, but I could try to find her with you, if you want! – he said, cracking a subtle smile on his face. Negi liked being helpful.
Then, when Christopher explained that he was from Earth it made the more sense, as he would probably be indeed searching for another person from his home planet and, being related just made it even more likely that the new sergeant was this Leena. The boy explained that he had only met about three saiyans while on Earth and only one of them was a full-blooded one who happened to be his teacher. The boy also explained that he disliked fights unless they were friendly spars and he nodded and then he pointed out that Negi was looking for a spar and he laughed in embarrassment, scratching the back of his head.
– Is that so obvious in my face? Hehehe… Yeah, I’m kind of looking forward a spar, but feel free to refuse, if you don’t feel like it. – he said, but, luckily, it seemed like Christopher wanted to spar. – By the way, my name is Negi. I’m a Corporal from the Alliance’s army and, as you can see, I have a little bit of human blood in me! One fourth! – he said, with quite a lot of pride, which was rather odd for what would be expected of a saiyan. – And, although I don’t know your planet yet! I look forward visiting it one day! To get to know the place part of my mother’s blood came from! – he giggled a bit, in excitement.
Chris couldn't believe his ears as Negi mentioned that he had indeed heard news of his sister being the Sargent. That was just great! That meant that he must be getting near the end of his search. However he was running out of time and he needed to head back to earth soon. Chris actually could feel the excitement running through his mind opening even a slit in the darkness of his mind he couldn't access before. He needed to learn to control it otherwise he could end up holding himself back. That wouldn't be good if a situation needed it.
"I think I will continue to look for her myself but thanks for the offer. I really do appreciate it more than you would think." Chris would say with his own smirk as he looked at the slightly older saiyan's smile. If was refreshing to see and frankly not another rather creepy one. One wouldn't believe how many of them he had seen on this planet so far. Really he didn't know what yet to think of yet after having seen this planet so far. That's it! He could tap into that fear to try and unlock his potiential. There was only one way to truly test it out.
As he listened to his friend of how they realized it was showing on their face he couldn't help but smile at that. That was when he began to explain his name and why he is here. As well as explain where he was originally from and to be honest it was pretty interesting to learn that he was one fourth human. Chris wondered what that was like since his Saiyan genes seemed to be so strongly attuned to his features he didn't know what it was like to be a hybrid. It was just an interesting thought to him and he really still saw them as equals.
My name is Chris, from planet Earth and I do have one secret I don't want you to tell anyone. Though I promise you my reason for coming here truly does have nothing to do with it and was for my own reasons of finding my sister. I am actually a member of the Earth Special Forces. My mentor is Atsuko, Kami of the planet. She approached me to train under her because she approved of my dislike for fighting and wanted me to become the best I truly could. She directed me to follow my own path and not to let others have control over me." Chris would say as he began to charge his own power past he had ever before.
He began tapping into his darkness within...if he didn't open it than he could never truly rid of it. He had to do this or else..or else there was no point to trying to defend those he loves. He had to push pass those limits...he couldn't turn super Saiyan but he still could atleast increase his own strength. That was why he wasn't just going to give up yet. He still could push himself past limits that he didn't think he could break before if he just stopped holding back his anger.

Seemed like Christopher wanted to look for his sister by himself and Negi could respect that and nodded in agreement. – Sure, your call! – he simply said. Then he introduced himself as Chris, from Earth and told him he had a secret he had never told anyone, making Negi quite curious about it. He revealed himself as a member of the famous group known as Earth’s Special Forces, or the Z-Fighters and his mentor was someone named Atsuko, Negi didn’t know about, but he knew the titled of Kami, and then he explained why she trained him and what she told him to do. While he could respect her attitude, Negi distrusted such a group and Kami; every saiyan on the Alliance knew that they were enemies of the Alliance and had trouble with them before. He sighed deeply as his feature became much more serious.
– Really?... That’s a shame, really. The Z-Fighters, as we call them around these parts… Well, they aren’t allied with the Saiyan Alliance. In fact, I don’t think you know that, but, originally, the Saiyan Alliance’s headquarters was on the Southern Islands, on Earth, in a estate that belonged to Counselor Karota. – he began to explain. – The Alliance became protectors of the Earth too, but we were kicked out of the planet because the Z-Fighters, led by the previous Kami, distrusted us. In order to avoid trouble, our first Overseer, Natto, decided to leave instead of fight. Just like you, he disliked fighting for meaningless reasons. – and there was some sort of sadness in Negi’s tone as he watched Christopher powering up, doubling his power level. The young hybrid clenched his fists and closed his eyes for a bit, tapping into his inner potential, flaring a dull yellow ki aura and making his hair wave a little due to the power of the aura. His power level increased three fold with that, without the drawback to the defense that Christopher was experiencing.
[Mastered Power Unlocked. Current Power Level: 184,956]
– Saddens me to think we will probably be enemies from time to time, you seem like a very decent person, Chris. – he said as he slid into a rather clumsy battle stance from the perspective of a trained martial artist; Negi’s skill was still rather unpolished but he had a huge power level now and that would most likely even the odds.
Chris could feel the power coursing through him as he looked at his friend. He was still slightly suprised by his own power as he was bulked up but even he could tell it wasn't perfect. His own speed was drastically shortened. Although he had this power he couldn't help but dislike it still. No...even if he had unlocked this power he didn't want to use it.. It just didn't feel right. The darkness he had to access in his own mind just to access this. Power lead to corruption. He looked at his form once more before deciding as his opponent began to turn on their mastered form.
That was when he began hearing of how Negi began to explain how the Saiyan Alliance had a base on Earth and was set up to help the Earth before they were kicked off by the previous Kami and Z fighters. He began powering himself down mainly so his rage infused form didn't change his true answers. He wasn't going to lie to Negi and he was going to tell him the truth. He really though didn't know what exactly to think of the story of the previous Z fighters and Kami except for one thing really. Something he still felt was only right for him to atleast say.
"I really am sorry to hear that, I never knew in honesty. All I know is that the previous group of Z Fighters were gone and the Kami was replaced with my later to be mentor. She told me of when the Saiyans attacked the lookout and I never understood why then. Maybe though it's just because both sides are scared? Scared of the other side attacking. You are right though that it wasn't right for the previous group to have done that, but now both groups are being led by two different people. Maybe it's time we try to change that. It wouldn't be easy but I would feel worse if I didn't even try to help fix that bond."
Chris would have said as he noticed his friend's sparring stance. What he said about them one day possibly being enemies was hurtful but yet he still could understand. Who wouldn't understand such a thing really? No he was going to admit it. He would admit that this was really saddened for him. That explained all the mistrust that came to him when the other Saiyan's looked at him. Heh he really was different, more so than the hybrids even. He didn't belong to either world in truth. No matter where he would be looked at differently.
"I won't lie, I see every reason you would say that but I'll tell you what I believe though. I believe that one day we may have a fight but we won't ever truly be enemies. If you believe me than we can continue our spar, if you don't...than feel free to arrest me. I won't even resist, I won't lie that I wouldn't try to break out once you put me in a jail cell, but I won't resist if you were to arrest me for being a part of the newer Z Fighters ." Chris would say as he awaited a response, his guard fully dropped as he waited.

After hearing what Negi had to say, Christopher began to answer, saying he was really sorry to hear that and he really did seem to be honest in his words. He said that he heard about the previous group being replaced and how she told him that the saiyans attacked the Lookout – whatever it was – and he didn’t even know why. Then he made an assumption that maybe the two sides were scared and that made the young hybrid to arch his brows; his theory made quite a bit of sense in a way. Maybe it was time to put the quarrels in the past, but, still, Negi couldn’t help but to think that the Z-Fighters started the problems when they kicked the Alliance away.
– Still, Chris, we all know the story of the invasion. When the Saiyan Empire invaded Earth. If Natto hadn’t abandoned the Empire, Earth would have fallen. It was his actions that determined the safety of that planet and, yet, ungratefully, they kicked us out of the planet we had sworn to protect. – he explained, grimacing a bit, as the topic bothered him a bit. There was plenty of ill-will between the two factions. – I don’t know about this attack on the Lookout, or whatever this place is called, but I’m sure it wasn’t uncalled for. There must have been a reason for that. – he said, and Negi truly believed in that.
When the boy said that he could arrest him if he didn’t believe him, being so sincere as to say that he would eventually try to break out of jail, that made Negi smile again and chuckle a bit in a kind tone. Then, the red-haired hybrid shook his head. – Hey! Right now you are a saiyan looking for his sister! Not an enemy, not a Z-Fighter! So… If you still want to have a little spar, we can do that and then I can forget you said you were part of that group! – he said, and then, as Christopher powered down, so did Negi, reverting to his base power level. – And I don’t fight on unfair grounds! – he added.
Heh so this was how it came to be. He continued to wait as it seemed to feel like forever as Negi began to think. He wondered though just what choice he would make. Would he arrest him or was he going to just continue the spar instead. Those two choices were going through his head as he awaited for what was truly going to be said as he still didn't know whether or not this was going to go badly. Even if it did go badly he wouldn't let it stop him. He knew Negi could understand that Chris had people home he still wanted safe.
That was when he began explaining his story about why he felt he was towards the side of store. He couldn't help but feel neutral in the whole situation of it. He really didn't and couldn't pick a side since he had never been there in the first place. Though something did seem out of place with in both stories. The way they both told them almost made it sound like there had been a background force to have hinted towards the cause of both of these things to happen...what if there had been? What if someone had purposely cause for both factions to despise each other...but why?
" No attack is truly ever uncalled for, I visited there right after the battle roughly. Imagine standing in a graveyard and just feeling an entire lack of ki except for one large feeling of Death. Ever since I felt that I learned that no attack is truly called for." Chris would simply say with just a shrug of his head. That one was truly his opinion in its final form. He was proud to have that opinion as well and not just a made up one meant to cause someone to think other wise.
"I appreciate that but I want you to remember me for who I am, as I want to remember you for who you are. That way no matter how deep we bury it we still have the though that maybe the other group is not what we really think it is, that we truly do have varying personalities as well and that we aren't all the same." Chris would say as he truly entered his fighting stance for real this time. "Luckily for you, I love fair fights as well!" Chris would say as well as he entered his trained beginner stance, the one Atsuko had taught him.

Negi wasn’t quite sure he understood Chris next words, but he decided to just vaguely nod in order to be polite, but he didn’t state any opinion on the matter. Still, he could picture a graveyard of a place; that’s how his house felt after the deaths of his parents at the hands of the Planet Trade Organization and he hated them for it. Ever since that day, Negi moved out of his home and into the military dormitory so that he would get rid of that awful sensation. Ever since then he had never set foot on his home ever again and he wouldn’t, not until he had finally taken his revenge.
– And don’t worry, Chris. I will remember you for who you are. I just don’t think a title defines us as a whole. – he said in response to his next words and then, when Christopher said he also liked fair fights, Negi chuckled a bit, watching him enter in a quite peculiar fighting stance, unlike any other he had seen before. – Very well! Let’s go! – he exclaimed, as he dashed forward, aiming to throw a quick jab at his opponents face. It was about to time to start sparring.
Chris could only smile as Negi began to comment of how he would never forget for who he was and truth be told Chris wouldn't forget him either. As long as they still remembered each other one could truly never die as someone somewhere would still keep their existence within the hearts of the many others around them. That was why he truly believed that one day after he was gone, after anyone was gone they truly never would be for good. For even after death their actions would still be affecting each and every one of them. Whether anyone knew it or not, for they would never truly know.
That was the moment that Negi finally began the first attack. A simple jab towards his face. He instantly went into his mental state as adrenaline began to slow down the world to let his thoughts process. He had to take what his mentor had taught him. If Negi was going for his face like the angle suggest than he just need to move it fluently like the dance his master had taught him...yes his martial art was based off a dance but wasn't that what fighting basically was? A series of movements to make a single harmony?
He began to move his body lightly with his thoughts guiding it as he flowed like a dance of sorts, spinning and launching a quick punch towards Negi's very own jab towards him, the first once colided would definetly put out a small shock wave against each other once they colided but Chris was sure his would win this one here. He honestly was hoping that it stuck to melee fighting for this one as it would at least give them quite a chance to test each other in strength. At least he hoped they could find out each other's limits.
"You know it almost makes me wonder though what it might have been like if I had been raised on Natto, I might have became an entirely different person or I might have still been the same, just one of those what ifs you know." Chria would say as their first attacks collided. This was going to be a good spar though, that much Chris could tell from just their first bits of strength against each other. That was always key to seeing just how a fight was going to go.
WC: 401 TWC: 3,188 Chris Launched a counter jab right into Negi's jab, 7,069 - 3,083 = 3,963 heading towards Negi in shockwave from melee collision.

Christopher moved quickly and swiftly as Negi attacked and managed to counter-jab him, hitting him right at his face, which hit him hard, making Negi stumbled backwards as he tried to recover his balance. The hybrid saiyan touched his cheek, grimacing a bit with the aching pain on it as the earthling saiyan spoke of the possibility of being raised on Planet Natto. That thought made Negi forget about his pain and chuckle a bit, smirking with the corner of his mouth as he massaged a bit more of his face.
– That would be an interesting what-if scenario! Maybe we would be army comrades, maybe even on the same squad, since we are pretty much the same age, I take! – he commented, musing on that for a bit, before shaking his head and sliding back into his fighting stance. – But enough talk! Hahaha! – he said and, without wasting any time, Negi charged again, once again seeming to be throwing a jab into his face, only this time it was a feint. Negi would then pull back his arm and deliver a roundhouse kick with the opposite side leg, aiming to hit right at Chris’ ribs.
Stamina 3/3
Feint punch. Roundhouse kick to the right ribs PL 3,083!
Chris only began to smile as his attack landed successfully. Though he couldn't help but see a part of himself in Negi. Back when he had first started beginning. Those were the days back than when he had first begun testing his skills. He had been so close in power to the other but he still lost because he wasn't a true master of countering yet. Maybe he could knock two birds out with one stone however. Maybe he could do what his mentor had taught him and show Negi how every chance was a lesson to be. That there was something to learn from each strike.
"You know you remind me of myself back on earth when I first was starting fighting roughly. I met an amazing human named Galen who showed me the importance of countering and dodging. Even if you can't counter the full damage there's no harm in atleast trying to reduce the amount of pain it could cause. If that doesn't work there is always dodging. If you can perfect you dodging you can even dodge some ki based attacks with ease. I know you can do it. If you can I will promise you that you can hold your own much better and longer in a fight."
Chris would promise as he listened to Negi's own thoughts on what if he had been born here. It was an interesting idea to say the least. That was when he noticed Negi mention of that being enough talking and launch a punch towards him but alas it was a feint. Now here was coming the very threat he knew he should have been expecting, a roundhouse kick coming right for his side, possibly for his ribs! That was going to knock him out of breath if he couldn't get a counter in. If he didn't counter than He might never learn the importance of countering.
" Talking in the middle of a fight isn't ever enough Ha! For you never know when your learning something important!" Chris would say with a slight laugh as he attempted to counter his opponent's roundhouse kick by attempting to grab said leg and flip him right into the ground. Hopefully it was going to stun him or show him how effective countering could be, if it was really successful than he would counter or dodge to show that he did listen to him. It was almost like he was showing him how to perfect his movements.
