29/06/18 We have an updated Beginner's Guide for New Members! Please browse through it to get a feel for our systems before diving in! It is here. 22/04/19 Brand new site skin, what what!!
It was a...Mostly average day, the place was bustling with activity, citizens moving to and fro, cars going about, and at the center of it all was the Capsule Corp HQ. The place Teresa had been focused on hunting down, for one reason only - She was an engineer employed by them once, she didn't know if that was still true given how long she had been...Tied up with affairs, but she was going to find out, and better yet, if friends she had made were still there, having connections would definitely help the group, there was no doubt about it.
She walked up and promptly entered the place right into the main lobby, looking about at the pristine windows, the clean walls, the shiny technology lining about the place, chairs, tables...A few questionably stylish potted plants, and of course the front desk. She grinned and put her hands to her hips. "It's a lot cleaner than where I worked, that's for sure." She waltzed calmly up to the front desk, waiting for the woman working there to notice her. Of course it didn't take long before the lady perked up, looking over, she was silent for only a moment before she said...
"Welcome to Capsule Corporation! May I help you?" "I need a little help, regarding employees." The woman took on a curious expression. "Are you here to file a complaint?" Teresa shook her head lightly. "Nothing like that, I need information on employment status." The woman would take on a troubled expression, speaking up. "I'm sorry Ma'am, but we keep information regarding our employees confidential. It's a major policy. Unless you're law enforcement, and here on business, I'm afraid I can't share anything." Teresa became slightly frantic, waving her hands. "N...Nono, I promise it's just a few friends I'm wondering about! Not even a little info?" "It's the rules, Ma'am."
Teresa stepped away from the counter, looking a bit defeated. She hadn't really...Accounted for the rules to get in the way of her plans. "W...Well, I guess I'm out of ideas now!" She laughed awkwardly, rubbing her hand on the back of her head, in her mind this totally went down far better. "I don't suppose...Anyone else can think of what to do next? We still need a place to stay. ... Maybe jobs too. ... Hmmm..." The bunny put her hand to her chin, looking over at the woman.
It was like a lightbulb going off in her head, she walked back over to the woman, grinning once more. "What would be your stance on that confidentiality if I were to apply for work here?" The woman looked up from the computer she was tapping away at, taking on a bit of a tired expression. "I'm still not allowed regardless of who you work for, Ma'am." Teresa faceplanted the desk, looking defeated. "Damn, I was sure that one would work! ughhnnnn..." She raises her face from the desk's clean mahagony texture. "I'll be right baccck~" And with that she headed back into the lobby, away from the desk. That was a nice desk.
And of course, any average day would see the eager Android working in Capsule Corp as she often did. She hadn't ended up going any farther up the ladder as she had intended, but if Zeni could just stay determined... She'd be able to become the Capsule Corporation President one day! Things got a little more lively in the otherwise slow paced HQ as a Zoanthrope Earthling entered and approached the front desk. The Android would have gladly spoken to the girl, but for the moment, she was more or less being shown the ropes by the woman currently manning it.
She had commented that the place was cleaner that she expected. The Android couldn't help but nod in response to that, they prided themselves on looking their very best! It was a very fine point to attracting as many customers as possible! Some may have despised 'window shopping', but that was because they didn't understand how to truly use it to their advantage. You just needed to get people interested, and then all you had to do was wait! It was a very simple process, or at least, it was for the girl programmed to handle economical functions on a daily basis.
But all that aside! Apparently the bunny needed a bit of help regarding employees, but the lady at the desk was just a little too... Restrictive in order to give out any information. Zeni could understand the need to be confidential, but she seemed to have her hopes up so much to try and get what she was after, only to be so disappointed when her opposition wouldn't even budge an inch! Still, the bunny girl wasn't intent on giving up so easily, she'd first ask if anyone had any ideas. The Android would raise a hand, trying to get attention.
Though... It had gone rather unnoticed. At least the troubled girl would come up with an idea and ask whether or not applying for work would get over the confidential hurdles! ...Same result, that lady was really just too much of a stick in the mud for the Android's tastes! No sense of how to work with the people at all! Though Zeni could understand why being careful with that sort of thing was necessary, it still didn't seem right that they was nothing they could do to help... After that, the defeated bunny would slam her face on the desk.
Teresa, after a dejected farewell, would begin making her way out into the lobby. Oooh, enough was enough! The Android would make her way out from behind the desk and follow the bunny to the Lobby! "Excuse me!", Zeni would try to get her attention. "Perhaps I could help with your dilemma!", the Android added. There really was no reason for Capsule Corporation to be so tight handed... At the very least, she could find out what Teresa needed this information for! There was no harm in that, right? Zeni had to trust her gut instincts!
Yes, her AI had advanced far enough to develop that. "You mentioned looking for information, a place to stay, even jobs! Can you fill me in on everything? We can find a more private place to talk, if you would prefer!", the Android would state if she finally managed to get the bunny's attention. The Android would take a bit of time to scan Teresa, now that the thought had crossed her mind... A reading of 2,547? That was pretty impressive! Even some of the more experienced fighters didn't reach that level! That estimation was even well over Zeni's capabilities!
Nearly double her combat capabilities, in fact! Still, the girl seemed quite harmless and more than willing to go about things in a legal way. "I just saw you looking so sad, and I don't want that to be how your first trip to Capsule Corporation goes! And... Even if I can't access the information you're after, maybe I can one day! I intend to be the President!", the Android would then explain. True, she was still pretty far off from making that happen. But she had to get herself back into the spirit for that sort of thing!
True, she didn't have much money right now... But maybe, if she acquired a few friends, she'd be much more able to afford it with their help! Once she actually got control of Capsule Corporation, that would solve monetary issues for a very, very long time to come! "In fact, maybe we can help each other! I think I can convince them to give you what you need, aside from just the information I may be able to access!", the Android would elaborate. Yes... That was a very valid option! If there were two people saving up money, then they were progressing at double pace!
If they could get a third to help... It would take no time at all! But one step at a time, she'd just need to see if Teresa was even willing to help with all of this! ...Oh right, she didn't ask for a name or even introduce herself. She'd then bow respectfully. "My apologies, I didn't even say who I am! I am Android Zeni, it's a pleasure to meet you! May I ask your name?", she'd properly introduce herself as she stands up straight, an eager smile on her face as she stared at the bunny.
But now, it was time to allow her potential new friend a bit of time to speak! She'd met a number of nice people before, and it seemed like the cute bunny girl would be no exception to that list! Honestly, it took a bit of effort for Zeni to not ask if she could pet her, or maybe touch her ears... She couldn't help herself, really! Still, the Android had managed to remain respectful so far, that had to count for something! But, now was not the time to be distracted. She needed to hear what Teresa had to say!

It was in that peaceful moment on a seemingly average day that the doors into the capsule corp. building would almost literally fly off of their hinges- fortunately, they did not. But that's not to say they didn't make the loudest possible 'bang' when colliding with the walls behind them. Axelle stood there, her arms outstretched with her hands facing outwards open-palm. Next to her was a woman dressed in unnecessarily formal attire. "Axelle, it looks like we're a little late." The taller, more formally dressed woman between the two muttered. "Fashionably late, doctor!" Axelle would 'correct' her companion before looking around the lobby for Teresa. Scanning the room moving her head from right to left until she spotted her. By now, she had expected Teresa to have the information she needed and to be somewhere else, but instead she was talking to some young woman.
Arching a brow, Axelle walked towards the two in such a manner as if to suggest she owned the place. Before overhearing a bit of the conversation she questioned why Teresa was talking to some girl instead of getting the information she set out for, and that irritated her to no end. But that quickly subsided as she got a tidbit on as to what they were talking about. "Have you found someone that can actually help us?" Axelle would ask just as she closed the distance between herself and the two. Standing beside Teresa and folding her arms.
Axelle didn't want to have to abuse her abilities to help out. If she could help it, she would much rather take the slow persuasive approach without any help from supernatural abilities. While she waited for Teresa to answer she looked Zeni up and down. Her intentions were pure, mind you. She simply wanted to make sure Zeni wasn't some scientist or something. Axelle had dealt with more than enough of those for one lifetime. While her mind was on the subject of men in white lab coats a thought would come to her. "Teresa, when we take over the planet can we replace all the white coats with a different color?" The vampire asked as if such a question were totally normal. Both notions were super silly, but Axelle appeared to be a hundred percent serious.
"I don't like scientists, but I suppose they're sorta needed. The best we can do is just change the damn coat color." Axelle carried on. Going way off the current subject into something potentially very strange. In front of Zeni, and even the rest of the people in the lobby provided there were any, she had just openly admitted to wanting to conquering the planet. Not that it bothered her- it wasn't like anyone in the room could do anything to argue with her, they were all pretty much outclassed. The woman Axelle had brought with her was first to react in response to Axelle's openness, lunging towards the vampire in a panic and wrapping one arm around her while her free hand covered Axelle's mouth.
Instead of reacting violently the way one would expect, Axelle simply allowed for the taller woman behind her to pull her back with a hand over Axelle's mouth. She didn't look at all please but at least for the moment she wasn't acting on such feelings. The vampire kept her arms cross, with her eyes slightly narrowed and her brow furrowed to express slight irritation. The lady didn't say anything, she just wanted to keep Axelle quiet 'while the adults talked', so to say. Even though Axelle was probably as old if not older than those two if you didn't take her young appearance into account.
Walking normally as someone without the capability to fly felt alien to the Anubian, who had become so accustomed to just float off the ground and fly wherever he needed to without anyone telling him what to do, just him and the free windy open spaces in the skies; it felt liberating and calming. Not what he was experiencing right now, the blaring noises of cars honking, the loud noises of humans at the corners of the streets and alleyways yapping on and about in some strange dialect he could care less to figure out, much less their choice of clothing, and that was without even getting into account with the myriad of people going to and fro with their daily lives.
Now if only they could mind their own business and stop staring at him; that would be swell. "Grrr..." A man in a very expensive suit brushed against his shoulder harshly, and a lady with a killer set of high heels glared at him as he passed her by; little by little his patience was being tested quite meticulously.
Thankfully before he could lose his temper he found what he was looking for, at last, a huge building with an italicized Cc board and with the name of "Capsule Corporation HQ" smack-dab in the middle of it. "So, this is the place where these capsules are manufactured. Among other things." Walking inside to the main lobby and ignoring the stares he'd receive because of his attire the Anubian looked around in interest, blinking at the myriad of people going up and about inside the place.
He could see the desk where people could file a complain or talk with the receptionist, which a bunny zoanthrope; one of Earth's races was currently doing at the moment and seemingly getting nowhere as far as his tall ears could discern. He winced slightly at the loud thud her head did when she faceplanted the desk and left in such a short notice after getting nowhere with the receptionist, soon followed by a girl with a strangely porcelain-like skin.
The Anubian narrowed his eyes, he had seen some of them quite like the girl outside of the corporation and even out in the streets sometimes, he wracked his brain for a name for them and after doing an energy scan he finally realized what she was.
So that is an Android? Thought Cervez with an arched brow in curiosity. It was interesting how humans or any other being in the galaxy could create such strange beings, neither alive nor dead, a strange combination between the two. He wondered if the Balance would actually mind such a thing to exist but put it at the back of his mind for now. Looking back at the receptionist she saw her rubbing her forehead while looking down at the imprint the bunny girl left on her mahogany desk and couldn't help but sweatdrop slightly.
"That is one tough head." Cervez mused under his breath, chuckling softly at his assessment but it quickly died when a loud bang resounded through the lobby, and looking at the front of the room would reveal the cause of it. It seemed like a girl and an older female just entered the building, or rather the girl bashed open the doors and walked in like she was the owner of this place, her sights set on the bunny girl and the android.
Something about the girl piqued his curiosity, besides the abnormally high power level for such a kid she seemed odd; almost strange in her aura; though he couldn't exactly place what that would be, only that she felt strange to his senses. Keeping an ear arched in their direction to keep listening to their conversation he walked towards the receptionist. "Excuse me." Slowly the woman looked upward, an expression of irritation on her face but once she caught sight of Cervez she widened her eyes and her jaw dropped slightly.
Cervez took no notice that she was staring and instead asked a question. "Could you give me a pamphlet of what this corporation has to offer, please?" Wordlessly the woman reached into a stack of files and silently extended the offered piece of paper at the Anubian. "Much obliged." Taking the pamphlet he wandered to one of the couches strew about the lobby and took a seat to peruse through its contents in relative peace. Though he seemed interested in what he had to read -and really it wasn't hard to do it since he WAS interested- he was paying close attention to the conversation happening over yonder, even more so when the girl who had a strange aura to her mentioned taking over the planet.
Something told him the girl wasn't exactly kidding when she said that.
The zoan walked into the lobby and almost threw herself down into a chair, even as Zeni called out with an "Excuse me!". Though she quickly picked up on Zeni the next time a set of words left her mouth...She could help?! That got her full attention and she quickly turned to face Zeni as the ears on her head perked up quite a bit. She wanted information? Well....It was supposed to be a secret, and given where this was...Spilling info could be risky, but this girl seemed trustworthy."Well, I guess in the simplest terms...We're trying to stay away from some bad people, and kind of blend i-"
Teresa's statement had been cut of by the bang that rang throughout the lobby, and then she looked over at the door, she looked over at it with the most dumbfounded and yet terrified expression possible, sweat began to fall down her face, she knew exactly who it was, and what she was doing right in the lobby of a massive corporation. "....E...Excuse my friend! She's a bit...loud." She apologized to Zeni profusely, looking around and spotting the various...Other visitors, hoping they weren't watching, though clearly they were.
"I-I really need information on some employees, or...Even former employees, I'm guessing." She held her hands together in hopefulness, and perked back up at the statement of a mutual assistance kind of thing. "Well, we could try, but...What kind of help, exactly?" She was definitely curious, though in a purely innocent way, it wasn't every day someone asked for her help just out of the blue. ... Then again she realized she was doing the exact same thing as Zeni here. But regardless, she apologized and introduced herself, causing Teresa to smile a little as she gave a nod.
"My name is Teresa, it's very nice to meet you, Zeni! This girl is my friend, Axelle." She motioned to the loud girl who was now feeling up Zeni with her eyes. Speaking of Axelle, she just ran off on her own when they reached the first city...Teresa would be lying if she said she wasn't curious, but she had to speak with Axelle on her terms first. She gave a nod when Axelle asked about the help. "I have! I think. Uhh, m-my plan isn't very sound, it could still maybe mess up a little later down the road. ... D-d-don't worry about that though!"
"In fact, once we-What." There it was again, Teresa's slightly terrified, very dumbfounded expression had returned, did...Axelle really say "Take over the planet"? "Axelle, we can't just- I mean but- Why the labco-"Teresa really struggled to find a proper response to that question, taking over the planet was...A bit out of her league right now, and yet...Seemed as though Axelle was completely serious. "Do you realize what you're saying? We can't just...Take over the planet. R-Right? That's not even the most baffling part! I just- Everyone is still staring, too!" The bunny is frantic
As the doors would be thrown open with one of the noisiest bangs heard in quite awhile, Zeni's eyes would change from their passive green to an alarming orange. Indeed, even her demeanor seemed to change as she would try to peek around Teresa for what was causing all of that noise. The woman dressed formally made a comment about how they seemed to be late, and the shorter of the two merely described it as being fashionably late... Still, the Android couldn't help but be on alert status, something about this seemed dangerous. It wasn't often people just kicked in doors like that!
The noisy little girl would cross her arms and walk right up next to Teresa and rudely interject into the conversation asking whether or not the bunny had found someone to help them... Axelle would then begin to examine the Android rather thoroughly, and the feeling had turned out to be mutual. There was something far more... Invasive about Zeni's gaze, as her now orange colored eyes took in all of the details of the Vampire in a detailed scan. A reading of 30,000... Decidedly not of Human origin, at that. Unless her scanners were malfunctioning.
Zeni didn't believe that they were, however. Nonetheless, now the Android was incapable of calming down, and the only hint at it being the shift in eye color. Suddenly the Vampire would blurt out changing labcoat color once they... Took over Earth? She looked so serious about it, too! And as if not even bothered by all of the implications, she just continued right onto talking about not liking Scientists, though apparently they were needed and the labcoats could just be changed to a different color... Somehow, the artificial girl was able to tell she would not get along with this person.
"You are disturbing the peace, being quite rude, and making outlandish claims that can be taken as threats. I don't believe I'll be helping you.", Android Zeni would clearly state to the Vampire. Of course, that wasn't the full extent of just how unusual this day would become, as in the corner of her eye, Zeni was able to see a shape that was very much not Human. Cervez... The Android would lightly turn her head in order to scan him as well. A reading of 17,031... The alarming amount of high powers within the HQ did nothing to put the Android at ease.
Still, Teresa was trying to hold a conversation with the alarmed bot. Zeni wasn't trying to be rude, and listened to her words as best as she was able to while determining how much of a threat each person around them was. The bunny proceeded to apologize for her friend, who was very much so being incredibly loud and, in Zeni's honest opinion, rather unwanted in what was otherwise a pleasant day and conversation! Still, she'd begin elaborating on the type of information she was after. So details on employees and former employees...
That really was rather difficult to get a hold of. After that Teresa did point out that she was willing to return the favor, at least. Zeni would give an understanding nod as the bunny inquired what kind of help she needed. "Well, as I was saying before we were so rudely interrupted... I intend to become the President of Capsule Corporation. In order to do that, I'll need considerable funding however! I don't think I would be able to access the files you're looking after right now, not without clearance in any case. But the easiest way to resolve that..."
The Android began. "Is to just make it so that I have the highest clearance available! The President certainly has that, and by helping me, I would be able to secure you a place with Capsule Corporation! It may not all be perfect, but we really are rather protected here. You'll not have to worry about money, either! Though... Saving up as much as we can is going to help. By my estimations, I'll need at least around thirty thousand zeni.", the Android would further elaborate for Teresa. Though her eyes were still an orange color, a smile was on her face.
With that out of the way, she'd lean in slightly and whisper. "By the way, I know you're pretty worked up right now... But everyone just finds your friend a little concerning, as long as her behavior drops off a little, I don't think there will be any problem.", she'd state to the bunny girl... After all, Cervez was right in the lobby without so much as a care, it really wasn't the first time Capsule Corporation had to deal with alien life, or some of the more... Eccentric people. Still, Zeni was quick to be able to call security if it was necessary.
Direct confrontation with either him, or Axelle would not work in her favor. Then again... It's not like either of them could tell the exact estimations of her own capabilities. The only thing that would help them in that regard is if they had a scanner of their own! That was something that did ease the Android a little bit, if nothing else she could talk them down. Hopefully that would work! Well, hopefully it wouldn't be needed in the first place. But better safe than sorry, right? That was a good policy to have!
Still... Axelle was something very concerning, and as long as the Vampire was present, the Android felt like she wouldn't be able to relax. But hey, prejudice against labcoats aside, she seemed... Reasonable enough? It's not like she attacked anyone, after all. Yet. Maybe she wouldn't. It was difficult to get a read on that sort of thing, Zeni really didn't like uncertainties, if that wasn't clear. It was her job to play a role in security, but also keep herself alive! Sure, she could be rebuilt but... That was honestly rather inconvenient, you know! And expensive.

Axelle grumbled before pulling the hand that was on her mouth off of her before opening her mouth and showing her fangs before biting down. One would probably expect a hiss to have escaped her throat just before she bit down or for the woman that was following Axelle around to scream out in pain, but Axelle's bite was more akin to a 'nom' and the woman didn't even flinch. "Lemme go." Axelle demanded, though with how muffled it was what with her mouth being planted on the doctor's hand it sounded more like 'erme ger'. "We shouldn't be so open with your plans when you have a minimal number of allies, Axelle.." Axelle shook her head, pushing back hard with her back forcing the doctor off her before wiping the blood off her lip. "Nonsense! I can explain myself just fine!" Axelle then looked at Cervez. I mean, how could she not? He was.. unique in appearance, to say the least. In comparison to everyone else in the room that is. She went over to the receptionists desk and climbed up onto it, standing proudly with her hands on her waist.
"I'll say it again, too! So that everyone can hear me clearly!" The vampire announced. The doctor that had been with her tried to hurry over and stop her, but would appear to fail extremely hard as Axelle's eyes gave off a bright red flash and forced her back away from her. "I see the state that this planet is in and I am not at all a big fan of it- you humans let yourselves be pushed around by a bunch of salty aliens? If you all won't stand up for yourselves and get your act together, then I'm gonna make you do it- in exchange, you'll do as me and my allies say because we're the ones helping your lazy asses be strong enough to defend yourselves! You can't rely on just one small group of people forever! If someone wants to challenge me.. Do it now, so I can get some of the idiots out of the way of making this pathetic planet something to actually write home about!" Axelle then folded her arms and waited. It was unlikely that anyone would challenge her now, but as she had basically just said, the point of the challenge was to get the idiots out of the way.
The Anubian rose a brow at what he was reading printed on this paper; especially the capsules that could seemingly store a myriad of things inside of them, like a house or a vehicle; even a palace and everything in between. Though it sounded bizarre that there were some strange capsules that could seemingly heal injuries and even produce some sort of smoke-cloud to escape, but he decided not to question it and instead store that information at the back of his mind for later.
Who knows, if he started to get some zeni he might peruse their wares and buy something from here. Especially the capsules that could heal, who knew when he might need them, considering what his job entailed he figured buying a pack of them shouldn't be too bad. Looking up briefly from the pamphlet he could see that the trio plus one adult were still conversing with each other, though the older woman had her hand around the girl's mouth; likely to prevent another outburst from Axelle from occurring once again. Meanwhile, Zeni and Teresa were trying to get the conversation back on track, he listened intently until Zeni got to the amount she'd need to have all her business in order and he couldn't help but let his mouth gape a little bit.
"Thirty thousand zeni?" He mouthed silently to himself, he wasn't one for monetary wealth but he understood the need for money and how useful it could be. He wondered if someone could get that amount of cash in a short amount of time; then he remembered how easy it was to steal and rob someone blind and dismissed the thought for now.
Blinking back from his internal musing he came back just at the moment when Axelle walked towards the reception desk and... climbed over it to stand 'mightily' among everyone else, her hands on her hips and face thunderous like she was ready to give a speech, and oh boy what a speech it was. Though most might have missed as merely a trick of the light he caught the bright red flash that her eyes gave off, and immediately the older woman's charge towards her stopped dead in its track like... "Like a thrall obeying their master." Interesting. The Anubian couldn't help but raise a brow at this, curious that the girl had some knowledge of the mind arts to compel her will to those around her if she so desired.
How quaint.
Almost lazily his purple colored eyes turned towards the android that was talking to Teresa, noting immediately that her eyes changed from green to orange when Axelle started to cause a scene; an obvious flag that Zeni was in some sort of 'warning mode' and one that Axelle should have taken into consideration. But considering how headstrong she seemed in his opinion, it might haven't done much of a difference anyway.
"Oh great." The receptionist rubbed her forehead with an 'I'm so done' expression on her features. "A little midget with a superiority complex thinks she can own the world." Sighing harshly the woman wondered if she could ask for a bigger paycheck.
"Great ambitions for someone so young," Cervez said, his rough bass voice easily heard as he stood up and slowly approached the group. His comment wasn't exactly to demean the girl, but to see if she would fall for the bait and reveal what she was in reality. "But how do you plan to accomplish such a goal? You would need followers, not to mention the resources behind your back to realize your dream." Was he being nosy? Perhaps so; did he really cared that he might be seen as nosy? Not really.
Teresa begins to sweat profusely "S...She's with me, Relax Zeni!" teresa rubs the back of he head, growing frantic over the situation, made worse now as Axelle began to climb on the desk of the lobby, drawing all sorts of attention. UNWANTED attention. She tried to continue the conversation, however! "R...Right, funding! I don't have any money right now...But if I can get a job I think I could end up helping you! It'd be worth it. to find out...Some things. B-but uh..." Teresa kept looking between Axelle and Zeni, she was about to just run over to Axelle and make her hush, and yet...She might get knocked on her butt for it. Axelle was crazy powerful compared.
... Speaking of crazy. "T...THIRTY THOUSAND ZENI?!" Teresa shook her head at the thought, trying to realize just how much that was, she wasn't particularly rich, and yet...An idea came to mind. "Axelle! Hold on a minute! You want world domination? Well...I think, our friend here...Could help you! S...So just relax okay?" She smiled nervously, and yet she also had a plan, one that would hopefully hold through the tension in the air.
"Listen! We just need a better place to talk about this is all! I'll tell you both my plan, so...Come down from there, please! Before you get hurt." Teresa ran over to a vending machine in the lobby, and shook it wildly hoping for something to drop out...She had no time to use it like a normal person! She punched a hole through it, pulling a bottle of orange juice out! She threw it ahead of her, and put her fingers to her temple, the bottle floated over to the desk and towards Axelle, hopefully grabbing her attention given how calmly it levitated past.
Zeni would simply stand still and politely listen as Axelle went on, looking at Teresa with a smile as the frantic bunny tried to explain everything was alright... Though, when the Vampire hopped up onto the desk and said what could be equated to a hostile take over, and for anyone here to challenge her right now... The Android's orange eyes would turn to red. "Ok.", would be all that came out of her mouth as panels on her back slid open. Steel wires would then shoot out straight for Axelle, and unless Axelle somehow dodged or reacted to said wires...
They would wrap around the Vampire, effectively tying her down onto the ground. Or in this case, on top of the desk. After that, the Android's back would close back up properly, and her eyes would turn back to an orange color as she watched the bunny girl struggle with a vending machine, before finally punching a hole through it and retrieving some orange juice. Which she would then somehow levitate over towards the Vampire in attempts to calm her down. "Please don't break things while you're here. It really is rather inconvenient you know.", Zeni would make her request.
"But to answer you question, yes! Thirty thousand is what I need to both purchase the deed to Capsule Corporation, as well as successfully become the President. Why, once I've done that, we will be able to afford anything we need! The money will practically roll in with zero effort, and affording ourselves secure living spaces will be no trouble at all!", the girl explained with a smile on her face, as if she didn't even just attempt to tie up Axelle earlier. Although it would tell people one key thing about her; the Android was not particularly strong.
Or at least, the wires she had attempted to use as restraints for the Vampire were not. "Why does your friend want world domination, anyway? She sounds rather mean. I don't want her to threaten my customers.", Zeni would then inquire of Teresa. Sure, Axelle had a few points... Humans preferred to live in peace, and times were changing, they couldn't just sit and hide forever. There may very well be a day where there were not Heroes to rely upon. And in those times, they would need to be able to fight for themselves... But the Vampire also sounded like a tyrant.
Demanding that people do exactly what she and her allies say. True, there was a monarchy. And true, anyone could potentially try for the Throne as long as they were an Earthling... That didn't mean the people had to approve of them, however. Finally, she would turn towards Axelle and Cervez. "I take it there won't be anymore problems? I really am trying to be rather reasonable... Protocol dictates that I should call in security by this point. We've had several counts of disturbing the peace, threats of assault, and vandalism.", the Android would explain the list of crimes committed.
Thankfully, no one had gotten hurt yet, and hopefully it would stay that way, too. "But Teresa has been very polite and I want to help her.", she continued. Then she looked at Cervez for a moment... Then she'd look back to Axelle. "Also he raises good points. You need more than just power to rule. Though by my readings you are indeed quite strong, it's hardly enough to threaten the entirety of Earth into submission... Even then, I think I would still have to resist you.", the Android continued, despite this, she didn't sound hostile. Far from it!
She seemed to be in a state of happiness that didn't fade no matter how bad things got. At least it wasn't to the point of being creepy. "So I think you should listen to your friend, she really seems to care about you. And I think she has wonderful ideas!", with that, Zeni would turn towards Teresa. The expression and smile on her face almost asking 'did I do good?', by this point her eyecolor had returned to green. True to her word, she wasn't calling in security, even though she really should... Things could very well get out of hand now.
But even if she didn't have the power to compete with anyone here, she had to show that she wasn't afraid! "I'm sorry if I got a little distracted there, I'll follow your lead now, as I'm quite eager to hear about your plan!", the Android would then state, as if unconcerned about Axelle being potentially stuck on the desk or floor due to being tied up. Truth of the matter was, she just wanted the Vampire to sit there and think a little bit, the wires would eventually lose their restraint over the girl anyway.
And it certainly wasn't like that hurt her, either! Zeni had been careful about that, after all... One thing was for sure, it wasn't going to be a slow day! With this group, there was certainly no chance of that! But the Android didn't particularly mind either, as long as Axelle behaved... Zeni would really need to teach her how to do that. And the Vampire probably wouldn't like it one bit, but it had to be done! It really was for the best if they were going to be friends, and the girl very much wanted that, indeed!
Cervez was a rather interesting one, too. Mostly in that he stood out so much! Then again, who in this band could really be classified as normal? Really, it just made Zeni feel more at home. And if they all worked together, then they'd really be able to accomplish amazing things! ...Oh, but she was assuming that Cervez was with Teresa or Axelle, it was a possibility that he wasn't. Hmm, was he interested in even getting involved with any of this? The Android wasn't sure, oh well, she'd just have to wait and find out! Bit of the excitement involved, really.
It was not hard to make Zeni excited.

Axelle glared at the receptionist. Scowling, she would turn around completely to look down at her. "You know, I would suck you dry but I'm not that sort of person. Besides, I bet your blood would taste like shit. Bet this drop stresses you out so much that you bow the already minuscule amount of money you make working here on hard drugs just to get stoned hard before you cry yourself to sleep at night because you have no actual friends to vent to." The vampire said in a cruel, unforgiving tone. This was exactly why you never made a comment about her height. After that she looked around- now finally taking note of all the tension she was causing. Arching a brow she watched while Teresa went and showed a vending machine who was boss.. and Axelle had to wonder why until she saw what was in her hand. "Oh yes.. I can behave with this. I was already going to but I will gladly accept this." Axelle would then reach for the juice as it floated towards her thanks to Teresa's telekinesis.
But of course, as she reached for the juice, Zeni would shoot her weird tentacle cord things at her. Reacting just in time though, Axelle would grab what was rightfully hers- also known as the juice before rebounding back and out of the way of the cords to avoid Zeni's attempt at restraining her. She landed some short distance away from the group with a the bottle still in her hand. "Oi, there was really no need for that." Axelle stated as she uncapped the bottle in her hand before pointing at Cervez. "You, I wanna talk to you more later. Some place where I won't get cords or.. whatever, shot at me." The vampire would add on with a shrug as she walked back over to the group.
At least now she had quit yelling about taking over the world. Her thrall seemed to be just fine, as well. "Threats of assault.. maybe. But Teresa was the one that put a face print in your nice desk." Axelle would point at Teresa after she spoke while taking a drink from the juice she had been 'bribed' with. "So thirty thousand zeni, huh? Can someone tell me what all that money is supposed to be for? I might've missed it in the middle of my.. outburst." Axelle questioned. One might've found it funny just how easily Cervez had sort of fallen in with the three. Axelle thought he was interesting, though. And she most certainly wanted to learn more- she wanted to know more of Zeni, too. But that might be a far more unpleasant experience for her if not the both of them. Axelle would certainly try her best to behave now though, as there were promises of more juice- and if there was anything in this world that she loved more than juice it was.. well, nothing. Juice was pretty much her favorite thing ever. Wouldn't be too hard to make her settle down now.
Clearly this vampire was very full of herself. And while that may be true, one could easily test just how much bark was to her bite. A 'charisma break' may be very easy to pull off with her. Or, she could just keep on being a loud little shit.

Axelle dodged for 7,500 completely avoiding Zeni's attack

Cervez watched impassively as what was happening all around him, from Teresa going bonkers and punching a vending machine instead of doing it the normal way, which was paid some money to get what you wanted. He rose a brow as he watched a bottle of what looked like orange juice sail to the air towards Axelle; only for his other eyebrow to join the first one as some sort of telekinetic bubble took hold of the plastic bottle and proceeded to float it all the way towards the vampire girl.
Turning towards Teresa he saw how she had her hands to her temples, possibly concentrating so the telekinetic bubble will go for as long as possible. He was impressed, it wasn't every day you could find a being with the mental will to move objects around; it normally required great strength of the mind to accomplish such a thing.
Well wasn't this bunny girl interesting...
Panning his eyes towards Zeni he just managed to glimpse her eyes going red before a hatch opened from her back and what looked like steel wires would go for Axelle, their purpose as far as he knew were probably to either harm the vampire girl or just restrain her; probably the later going by what Zeni said next. "Honestly, everything is getting so out of hand so fast, it's a wonder that security hasn't been called in yet." The Anubian said to the trio of girls while walking towards them, passing right by the desk where the pale receptionist was currently looking at the table with her head in her hands; he sends the face imprinted in the mahogany desk a brief glance before looking up front again.
Merely raising a brow at the vampire girl's request to talk later, he shrugged his shoulders before getting Axelle up to the current events. "To make it short for you, Zeni here needs around thirty thousand zeni for the chance to have the highest clearance available to help yours and Teresa's situation, whatever that is," It wouldn't do for him to let them know he had been listening to their conversation for quite a while now. "So if Zeni manages to get around that amount of money, the chance to become President of Capsule Corporations should be within her reach."
He crossed his arms behind his back next, seemingly relaxed for the time being. "As far as I understand it, the easiest way to get money is by stealing from other wealthy people." Cervez intoned with a straight face like it was okay to talk about stealing from other people as a common thing; considering what he had seen so far on this planet he was well within his right to assume it as the norm.
Tilting his head next as a memory danced on the forefront of his mind, particularly a certain lilac-skinned demon making something for himself, he would give another alternative. "Or you could use a shop and sell your wares to the general public, but depending on how much attention it gains and how much people are interested in it is another matter entirely. You could do fantastically well, or downright abysmal, it all depends on what you sell and the opportunities you used to achieve your business."
The bunny was really surprised at...Everyone, though glad to see Axelle calmed down, still, there was a LOT they all needed to talk about, especially with the apparent extra member this crazy unlikely team had gained. "Thirty thousand sounds like a lot...But everyone just bear with me here. Axelle as blunt as she was does have a point. How many times now has our world rested on the hope of a few heroes winning a fight? They're...Not always going to win. I'm not a pessimistic sort, but my parents always told me that if I don't like something then I should try to fix it. ... They probably didn't mean Earth's leadership, but still."
Teresa grabbed both Zeni and Axelle and pulled them in close for a sort of...Group session I guess one could say, she looked at Cerves as well however. "Uh...You could go along with it too if you want I suppose." But with that, the Rabbit became rather hush hush in her speaking, she had a plan now, she wasn't completely clumsy! "So, we get the robot gal here to be the President of this corporation...A mega company like this will get us power and prestige, normally I wouldn't care about that, but we can make allies for a peaceful take over. Better yet, we can get the people's attention, we want to work FOR the people of Earth, not against them."
This brainstorming bunny was on a roll! She kept firing off her words as if she were absolutely sure of them, and indeed she must have been, it started to feel natural to her for some reason. "So this is exactly what we'll do. We sweep into this CC president plan, then we go in for the kill! We take the Kingdom by storm, and with the funding power of Capsule Corp, we'll have a perfect budget to make Earth safer. So! What does everyone think of that? In or out?"
"That...Was not part of your original plan." Stated the older gentlemen who seemed to be with them, given he had walked in as well, he was one of the test subjects, right alongside Teresa and Axelle. "Plans changed. We have an open window for this now, we go for it or else we'll never be safe on Earth. As for you!" She firmly pointed at Zeni. "Keep the security off of our backs, and that 30k is all yours! I think we have a deal, and a solid plan now. We just have to act. I recommend the Dog man's suggestion. A store would make up the funds pretty fast. And I think I know just the thing to sell...Who wants to be a weapon dealer?" She patted the backs of both Zeni and Axelle, a little...Intimidated by Cervez to approach him however. He was pretty big, and she was...Pretty average. it looked like he could snap her like a twig if he was angered.
Axelle had managed to avoid the wires with ease... So the difference between the two really was rather clear, if it was a real fight, Zeni wouldn't be able to do anything except escape with her life. That was a pretty sobering thought for the Android to take in. But rather than the Vampire being angry, she just said there was no need for any of that as she began to drink the juice. "Well, you said for anyone here to challenge you. It is technically my job to make sure that people are safe.", Zeni would explain to her with a smile.
"It also wasn't necessary for you to make so much noise or shout at everyone about how you wanted to take over the world. That tends to frighten people.", she added. Still, Zeni didn't sound angry one bit. Truth be told, if Axelle was going to behave now, that was all she cared about. "Oh, that wasn't my desk. That's technically not my vending machine either, but it is Capsule Corp property... Also Teresa has been very polite.", the Android explained, sure the logic behind it all probably didn't make sense, especially if she was meant to follow protocols.
But it did make her seem more alive, at least. Just as she was about to explain why she needed such a large sum of money, Cervez took the opportunity to explain it all rather eloquently. "Exactly! It is rather expensive, I know. That's why I haven't been able to go anywhere with it yet. But I think if we make a concentrated effort, we'll have no troubles pulling it off!", the Android added. Then she'd stare at Cervez a little more intently as he suggested stealing from people in order to get everything they needed for the takeover.
"Also, I'm not comfortable breaking the law. It's true that people with wealth could certainly be more charitable, but even so that doesn't make it right to steal!", the girl would add... It seemed that she wouldn't be easily agreeing to any plan that was deemed illegal. However, as Cervez suggested using a store instead, the Android would become visibly more excited... Something that people probably wouldn't think possible. "Oh yes! I'm very good at that! I can run any stores!", she'd exclaim... Not even bothered by the prospect of selling weapons, it seems. Whether it was a lack of understanding...
Or just that she figured people would only purchase them for self defense was up to debate. With all of that out of the way, Teresa would begin to speak up. She was one of the first to admit that Axelle was extremely blunt, but also that there was a point... Well, the Android couldn't technically disagree that simply relying on Heroes to do all the work wasn't a good way to go about things. But still! The Vampire sounded like she would rule with an iron fist, maybe that was just due to a misunderstanding, however. As she seemed perfectly normal now.
"I suppose that's a good point.", Zeni would respond, then listening intently to the bunny's words. After that, she was gently pulled into a group session by Teresa alongside Axelle... Though, the girl didn't seem brave enough to pull the rather large man along as well, instead merely extending the offer for him to join. "Well, that's true. Capsule Corporation would be able to afford quite a lot, and we have a great public image. With our help you would be able to send a very strong message to the populace, but not one necessarily meant for war or conquering."
Zeni would agree with Teresa's idea. "Hmm... Alright, that seems like a fair trade! Once I've become the President of Capsule Corporation, I'll do what I can to help you! This way, we should have an entirely peaceful takeover. No bloodshed whatsoever!", the Android would voice her agreement. That more or less meant that she was in on the plan! Teresa would then point at Zeni and say that as long as the security was kept off of their backs, they'd do everything they could to secure the considerable fortune to make her the President.
Zeni would give a nod! After that, Teresa theorized that one of the easiest ways to acquire the funds would be to become a weapon dealer... "Oh, you might need to let me do that. Selling weapons requires quite a few, expensive licenses. But I already have those!", the Android would chime in with another smile. "Besides, I love running stores! I'll do very good at it, I promise!", she continued. Almost acting as if that was her entire purpose, and... Considering who made her, that probably wasn't entirely far off. Likely because of that, she didn't even consider that Axelle might have what she needed to sell weaponry.
"Oh, this is so exciting! I can hardly wait, at this rate I'll finally be able to realize my dream! And it won't stop there, we'll be able to keep pace towards helping everyone on Earth!", she seemed practically giddy about the entire plan. She really didn't like the prospect of crime, hurting people, or anything illegal in general, but at least it didn't seem like it would be hard to convince her as long as she didn't need to take part in any of that. Maybe one day Zeni could be strong enough to do that...
But the Android certainly had to admit that she didn't want to! The only time she would fight would be for her friends, but... Honestly. They were all stronger than her, so the better way to fight was by securing the money, right? If that was going to be her job, then she'd just have to give it her all! It was the best possible route to take, all things considered. By this point, she had fallen silent and was confident in future plans, now it was time to see what everyone else had to say!
(Although I hate to do this, the thread appears to be dead now. I'm willing to do a new thread if anyone in this one is willing! But for now, I'll turn it in. Asking for zeni!)
