Cambia unrolled the map from her back pocket to see where she was right now. It didn't really matter to her so long as she kept following the setting sun, but it was always a good idea to get your bearings now and then. She may be half-demon but she still had to put food and drink in her stomach to live. The half-breed traced her finger down an imaginary line whilst she chewed on a stick in her mouth. "I was there yesterday... and I've traveled about a hundred miles... so I must be around here..." she muttered to herself before looking around for any landmarks that corresponded with the map, grumbling as she set it ablaze when nothing matched whatsoever.
"Last time I take a map off a damned fox. I swear, if I see that furry bastard again I'm going to turn him into dinner and a new fur coat!" Cambia snarled as she trudged onwards towards civilisation, maybe. Possibly. Well she was travelling west following the sun, so she was bound to bump into something somewhere along the way. "Next time, sticking to the Kami damned roads rather than trekking through these damned wastelands." she muttered to herself, her fire rising before she quelled it. No sense in getting all riled up just yet... in theory the west lands was where Kami was meant to reside.
And if there was anyone the demon saiyan hybrid did not want to get into a fight with, yet, was Kami themselves. Or anyone associated with Kami... well, except maybe a few monks or so. Temples were always a good place to put her feet up and take a nap. They surprisingly didn't hurt her, despite what the local population seemed to consider otherwise. Well, the buildings themselves didn't hurt... especially not when all the monks and priests were taking dirt naps. Come to think of it, it had been a while since she'd visited a temple... maybe she should stop by in the next town and see if they had one... She could use a good long nap. Assuming she could even FIND a damned town or city around here. Where the bleeding Hells was it?!
[Thread PL: 39,776 base. 9,944 with Heavy Weights on]
The Knight was once more wandering Earth, it was the same as all the other times she set off on such a quest; aimless wandering. This was her pilgrimage, it was to both train her, and likely help her decide what she was going to do with her life... It felt like there was something resonating with the Albino Saiyan here in particular. It was that sense of a greater power she had felt before... Though it somehow felt more apparent this time around, she still couldn't understand it's meaning. Atsuko chose not to dwell on it for too long, as there was little point.
As always, she had no means of suppressing her own power. It was only hidden by the weighted cape that she wore, which reduced it into a mere fraction of what she was truly capable of. Aside from all that, it was shaping up to be one of the more uneventful walks that she had. But the Knight couldn't bring herself to complain about it, at least it was a peaceful day... The flowers are blooming. The birds are singing. On days like these... It'd be perfect to have some tea. She mused on that as she continued her walk...
Only to then find something that made her stop in her tracks entirely. It was a woman, perhaps younger than she was. Running into someone wasn't the most uncommon of occurrences, but that wasn't what made her seem so surprised. It was the fact that it was like practically looking into a mirror. Was this... Another Saiyan? One of her family? The ones who abandoned her to this world? She approaches cautiously, unable to sense anything of real note from the individual. At the moment, she hadn't said anything to the girl that could pass off as her sister...
Not until she had stopped at a reasonable distance, there was little to mistake that Cambia knew of Atsuko's presence by now. If by some chance she didn't, then the Knight proceeded to speak... "Who are you?", she inquired. The shock of finding someone who looked so much like herself was still rather staggering. While she appeared to be standing casually, her guard was readied. She didn't want to take any chances here. They didn't seem hostile... At least, not at the moment... Frustrated, perhaps. They did appear to be lost.
"Er... I suppose I should instead ask... Do you need help?", she asked, now in a calmer tone of voice. Having some time to recollect herself certainly helped, though she still had no idea what to make of her apparent doppelganger. Well, time would reveal all answers...
The saiyan hybrid blinked when someone walked in front of her, someone that looked... exactly like herself, just dressed differently. "...Great, now I'm hallucinating." she said pinching the bridge of her nose and sighing. "Note to self, do not drink anything from that bar again. I thought it tasted funny." said Cambia before she tried to walk through the "hallucination". When the obvious thing happened she blinked once more. "...Okay, so not a hallucination..." she said, sounding rather confused for good reason.
She furrowed her brow for a moment. "Could still be a hallucination... wasn't hard so can't be a random rock in the way." mused Cambia before she reached her hand out to try and poke at the "hallucinations" chest to test the solidity of the thing being hallucinated. "Wonder why my hallucinated mirror would be wearing a different outfit though... I swear if its my mind trying to offer a different version of myself, I am going to drown it in beer later." she mused aloud.
This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
The doppelganger that Atsuko had encountered seemed even more shocked than she was about the meeting. After Cambia bumped into the Saiyan, the strange girl continued to go on about how it must have been a hallucination of some sort. The Albino Saiyan arched a brow at that. "It's no hallucination, I'm perfectly real and speaking to you right now.", she then stated. Though it seems that wasn't enough to prove that she was in fact a real person. The hybrid reached out with her hand and touched the metal armor that the Knight was wearing. It was finely polished and clearly well cared for.
And it was decidedly not stone, sand, tree or anything of that sort. "You see? I'm Atsuko Inoue, it's nice to meet you. Perhaps you can tell me your name now? And... If you require aid?", the Saiyan inquired. She could safely say that this was not something she had ever expected to run into during all of her time running across Earth. What explanation was there for this? Were they twins separated at birth? Sisters? Did they have any relation at all? Atsuko had hoped that whatever the case was, Cambia didn't come here to 'reclaim' her or something of that sort...
This was her home now, and her family had already decided they wanted nothing to do with her. But she gave the hybrid the benefit of the doubt, and chose not to bring up wild accusations or baseless claims. It was very possible that they didn't have any relation whatsoever... Or, perhaps they did. Now that the Albino Saiyan looked, she had a tail. So, now what? The Knight pondered how to best handle the situation. While she didn't want to seem like an endless source of questions, this last one was important...
"Are you a member of my family? The Saiyans that sent me here?", she finally asked. With that, she waited to gauge the reaction that Cambia would have. And whether or not she would be taken seriously as a living person. The entire situation was surreal, even she couldn't deny that. But there was little to mistake that Cambia was standing right in front of her. The more she wracked her own mind to find the answer, the more she began to realize that she had none to give... Hopefully, the hybrid proved to know more than the Knight did...
"Of course you'd say you're not a hallucination. Hallucinations always claim they're not." huffed Cambia with irrefutable logic as she poked the armour. Cold metal, solid... didn't feel rusted at all so that left out any chance of it being an abandoned car or truck she'd bumped into. Which meant... "Huh... you are real..." she admitted, peering at the mirror image now with suspicion, noting her ready stance. She adopted a similar pose after backing up a little, her right hand going for her sword slowly.
She couldn't sense the energy levels of anyone yet, something she had to work on, but conversely they shouldn't be able to tell how strong she was either, not with her dimming her fire around this woman. The questions were coming forth to her mind just as quickly as they were coming to her mirror's. "Cambia. Name's Cambia." she said slowly, noting that this woman had a tail as well, just wrapped around her waist instead of hanging freely like her own.
She looks like me, has a tail like me... only difference between us be she's wearing armour and blue, and here I am in nothing but shorts, boots, shirt and a red leather jacket... best change that up. thought the hybrid to herself, her clothes suddenly engulfing in fire as she created for herself her favoured battle attire. The hybrid wondered how this mirror would react to that.
Then the question of family came up, drawing a growl from her lips as she drew her sword out fully and took up a battle stance. "The hell do you know about my family eh?!" she snarled, her eyes flashing with a crimson light, her blade slowly gathering a blood coloured aura around itself as she began to charge her ki through it. If this bitch using her face knew about her family, and judging from her armour and blue colours... it could mean that she knew about her demonic half...
Even if this mirror was claiming to be her family... no, it was probably some kind of bloody trick. No way in hell could she just randomly bump into someone who looks exactly like her out here in the middle of nowhere. The odds of that happening were slim to none.
Used:
[SU1] Clothing Creation: Using her demonic powers she's able to create clothes for herself, quite handy given how often she gets into fights and needs new ones.
Currently Charging:
[B1] Hell Wave: By channeling her ki down the length of her sword, she fires off an arc of red energy towards her target, the arc cutting through her foes.

Apparently, she had not reacted well to the implication that they might be related. Suddenly flames erupted around Cambia and she was in a new, more battle-based attire. Just like that, the hybrid drew her sword and Atsuko could not feel the power surging forth from Cambia. The Knight however, remained at ease. "I'm not here to fight you. Put that blade down.", she stated calmly. Even the face of what must have been mortal danger from Cambia's perspective... She showed no fear. Atsuko continued to talk as if they were just having a pleasant conversation. Acting as if nothing was going to deter her from that.
"More importantly, you didn't answer my question. You're a Saiyan, I'm one as well. If you look so much like me... It's not entirely unreasonable that you're a member of my family, is it not?", she continued. Despite this she had yet to draw her blade forth from it's sheath. She was prepared to defend herself if it must be so... But she could do that without bringing harm to the girl. But there was something unmistakable that she had noticed about the hybrid; the red aura. It reminded her of Bernael's. Was she part demon?
Well... Even if Atsuko was trying to hold pleasant conversation, she was going to stay on the safer side of things. Her own Ki began to flare up, it was a brilliant blue in color. Traces of white were found within it as it surrounded her. Her breathing slowed as she focused on the girl in front of her. If her attack launched... She would be ready. "I would prefer if we resumed holding conversation. But if you'd rather swing wildly... I suppose I just have to oblige.", she then added. Regardless of how things were going to go down...
Atsuko was determined not to throw a single blow at Cambia. There were plenty of ways to be able to handle this, none of them had to be violent.
Cambia spat out the stick of wood she had in her mouth, the tip landing straight up in the dirt around them as she bared her canines at her doppelganger. The fact that this person was acting so calm only served to anger her further. "Ha. I just happen to bump into a Saiyan that just happens to look like me out here in the middle of nowhere on this little dirtball so far away from the Saiyan homeworld? Claiming to be a relative as well to top it all off?" asked the hybrid, a sneer in her tone. "Fat chance. The odds of that are so slim to none they practically don't exist." she said, flaring her own red aura as the woman flared her blue.
"More likely, you're some little twisted hellspawn mother dearest's sent up as some kind of dumb ass test or something stupid like that. I'll give her points for originality this time around but I ain't falling for it." snarled Cambia as she continued to charge her ki into the sword's blade, its aura growing stronger with each passing moment. This person was so bloody calm... it was really ticking her off. It may even cause her to straight up Flare just to see that calming expression on her face wiped from the face of the Earth.

This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
"... Do you wanna have a bad time? Because if you continue your course of action... You're going to have a bad time.", the Albino Saiyan stated as her hand then rested on the hilt of her sword. The Knight then began to take stance, as if she was ready to pull out the sword and slash at a moment's notice. She wasn't going to throw the first blow... But Cambia wasn't giving her much choice here, she wasn't going to allow herself to be killed. But that didn't mean she had to kill the hybrid in response. No, she had a different plan...
No matter how strong her technique was, the Albino Saiyan was going to show her just how bad of an idea it was to continue threatening her life. It was a hard lesson that was going to help her in life. Because not everyone would offer her mercy like she was planning... And frankly, the girl was making it difficult not to just strike her and be done with it. She left herself wide open, at any point she could have rendered Cambia unable to fight back. "Well... That's not entirely accurate, I suppose.", she then added out of the blue.
"If it was anyone else...", she began... And then she glared at the hybrid. "You'd be dead where you stand", she finished ominously. All that was left was to wait for her to launch the attack. And then Atsuko would respond in kind. She had the perfect technique to send. And then Cambia would have no choice but to continue talking with the Knight. Or at least, that's how it went in her mind. Time would show just how well that was going to work out for the two of them... The Albino Saiyan was filled with determination.
Oh now the mirror girl was threatening her?! That teared it. Cambia dug deep inside of her and roared, black lines surfacing to the visible portions of her flesh, forming almost claw like shapes on her face and random zig zags on her arms and legs that could be seen. Her pupils shifted from those that could be considered normal humans into snake like slits, and her ears sharply began to point even as her canines became sharpened. This was her Demonheart, her demonic heritage given physical form which easily doubled her power.
Her aura itself seemed to burst into an even brighter and yet at the same time darker glow of crimson fury, before she unleashed her attack deciding to not wait any longer, just in case this doppelganger double could back up her words. Best to take her out in one fell swoop! "Hell Wave!" roared Cambia, Flaring her attack and putting even more power into it than her transformation would permit by itself. An arc of blood red energy shot forth from her sword as she swung it towards this Atsuko girl. There was no way in hell that this copy of herself would be able to stand up to this attack.
Activated Demonheart: PL = 2755 x 2 = 5510 Activated Flare (Makyo Powered) for Hell Wave PL = 5510 x 3 = 16,530 Fired the Hell Wave after two charges! Two Charges = 75% of PL. 75% of 16,530 = 12,397.50
Atsuko was surprised at the power that Cambia was able to muster. But all the same she didn't hesitate, her sword flew forth from it's sheath and then a wave of golden glowing energy was unleashed, clashing against the Hell Wave that the hybrid unleashed. "Holy Sword Wave!", she shouted. But that wasn't the end of it. She poured extra energy into the attack she unleashed. "HAAGHHHH!!", escaped her mouth. Both techniques were powerful. But admittedly, Cambia came a little more prepared by comparison. Her Hell Wave overtook the Holy Sword Wave, though was excessively weakened in the process. The remnants of the energy collided with the Knight.
Dust surged up into the air from the force of the blow. And as it began to settle... The Knight was still standing, visibly injured, and some of her robes had been torn. But her armor held, and her expression was just as calm. "I was capable of striking you down before you could even unleash that attack. I didn't. Now you owe me answers.", she began. It was draining... She wouldn't be pressing the offensive. That was alright, she didn't plan to strike down Cambia despite how rude the hybrid had been.
But she was damn well going to get her answers now. "Put down your sword. Or I can make you put it down. You don't want me to have to do that.", she added. But she still had more to say... "I used only a fraction of my power. If you continue your assault... Well, you'll see how strong I can get when I remove this weighted cape.", she finished her declarations. Now the question would be... Was Cambia going to oblige? She had better. The Albino Saiyan was, suffice to say, more than a little angry that such a hassle began over this.
If the hybrid pressed the attack. She would find that the Albino Saiyan wasn't going to be quite as forgiving this time around.

Cambia smirked as she saw that her Hell Wave was stronger than the doppelgangers little Holy Sword Wave attack, and was prepared to head over to the woman's corpse as the dust settled... when she was still standing there alive?! The hybrid snarled and took a step back, her sword held ready in case the blonde took to the offensive herself. There's no way... I Flared and everything... how the Hell did she survive that? Did I unleash it too soon? Damn it... now I can't Flare again for a while... wait... what did she just say? thought Cambia to herself.
She blinked at the last two words. "Weighted... cape?" she asked briefly, her eyes widening at the implications. This bitch is wearing weighted armour... that means... oh crap. her inner monologue realised how much trouble she was in exactly. Cambia quickly went over her options, sweat dripping down her brow. If I try to run, she'd probably either strike me down from behind or just catch me. If I try to attack, she'll crush me. Hell, for all I know this Holy Saiyan could turn into one of those Super Saiyan things you hear about.
The hybrid glanced at the womans hair then the aura around her. The hair throws it off a little, but she hasn't changed into that Super Saiyan thing yet... I think... what do I do, what do I do... She bit her lower lip as she considered her options before sighing and slowly sheathing her sword, her crimson aura dissipating around her, although the black lines and other physical changes remained. "Fine... guess I ain't got no other choice... Ask your damn questions. I don't want no trouble." she said, clearly not happy about the whole situation.
Satisfied, Atsuko sheathed her sword. "Now... I asked you if you're related to me because I saw your tail and your appearance. I have a tail as well, and I recently learned that I am Saiyan... They typically send their infants off world. I only learned this recently because I spoke to a Saiyan Prince.", she began her explanation. "Knowing that, I assumed that you were part of my family, sent here to... Reclaim me, or check on me. Whatever Saiyans do. I'm not sure why you started ranting about Demons, but I can wager a guess that you're half demon."
She added. "If you are, I don't care. I've already had enough experience with demons to know that not all of them are evil... So I want you to answer me honestly. Are you a part of my family?", she asked once more. Clearly the hybrid didn't need any help if she could muster that sort of power... Well, that wasn't entirely true. There's still the fact that she seems to be lost in the middle of nowhere. Perhaps Atsuko could help with that issue. So that brought her to the next topic of discussion. There was honestly quite a lot to talk about here.
"Secondly. Are you lost? If so, I can offer you help. I've been around Earth well enough that I can show you where you need to go.", she then added. So that brought her to the last question that she had for Cambia. "Finally, would you be interested in traveling together? I've taken to traveling with others, it's a nice change of pace... Though, I would have to ask you not to attack me again. That actually rather hurt.", she finished. The Albino Saiyan began to dust herself off a bit, stretching slightly afterwards.
It wasn't anything too bad, she had taken much worse in training. Though the effects were rather plain because of the weighted cape she had. All the same, Atsuko chose not to remove it. It would mean forfeiting any benefits that it gave, and she'd rather not do that if at all possible. Since the hybrid had finally decided not to continue the fight, there was little to be concerned about there. Despite it all, the Knight still stood ready to defend herself just in case her 'new friend' decided to go on yet another rampage. The Albino Saiyan wouldn't be able to take too many hits like that...
Even if they didn't manage to become as powerful by comparison.
She listened to the mirror ramble on about what Saiyans did, rubbing the inside of her ear as she yammered on. "Yeah, I heard that stuff to growing up, the whole sending off world... I ain't got no clue if I'm family of yours or not though. Been on this miserable rock my whole life." answered Cambia with a shrug, spitting on the ground as she thought about it. "If we are family though, I'd love to get my hands on our dear old daddy for sending our arses here to this cesspit." the hybrid growled, her hands clenching tight at the thought of their patriarch.
Cambia folded her arms across her chest and huffed at the second question. "I ain't lost... I know exactly where I'm going. West." she said, nodding at the sound and firm logic of her statement... right before her stomach growled at her, rather quite loudly which caused her to blush a little given she was in the presence of company. "A-Apparently there's some kind of Kami or God on this Earth out here in the west... I've got a bone or three to pick with him about his little planet and its people. Been training as I went so I could give him a good piece of my mind." she rapidly explained if only to distract from the earlier growl of her stomach.
She gave a snort of amusement when the duplicate asked if she wanted to travel together. "Probably better if we didn't. I get the feeling that you wouldn't exactly care for my... lifestyle much." said Cambia with a shrug. "Besides, we get somewhere then separated, you'd be just as likely to cop the flak for my stuff as I am. My hell is my own. I ain't about to drag someone else into it just cus they may or may not be family." said the hybrid before she spat on the ground. "Not that family's been much help on this damned planet in any case."
Cambia began to try and walk past the mirror image of herself, fire wrapping around her once more to return her to her earlier shorts, top, boots and red leather jacket look. "See you around Inoue. Bit of advice, avoid any towns or bars east of here for a while. I made a bit of a bloody mess in that direction, and humans have a bit of a memory for that kind of stuff." she advised her with a chuckle. "Apparently they get surprised by little girls butchering big burly gang members like the pigs they are, or hypocritical priests." the hybrid said.
This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
The Hybrid was answering all of the questions, just as the Saiyan requested. Though, none of them were very satisfactory... Such a hateful person this Cambia was. Though she couldn't entirely blame her for hating her father, potentially it was the same man that sent the Albino Saiyan all the way to Earth as well. Of course, she ended up in a much better place by comparison, so she couldn't exactly complain... Though next on the agenda was the fact that the hybrid claimed to know exactly where she was going... And then give the most vague response that the Saiyan had ever heard.
Their conversation was interrupted slightly by the growling of Cambia's stomach, but she immediately spat out a response so as to cover that up. Training in order to fight Kami? The Saiyan had heard a little about the person to hold such a title. But apparently there wasn't such a person anymore. It was all rather vague hearsay. Bits and pieces gathered from her adventures in these lands. The Atsuko shook her head slightly in response, but then the hybrid continued on by saying she wasn't going to drag anyone else down, family or otherwise. Honestly, it was all leaving a bad taste in the Albino Saiyan's mouth.
Flames once more erupted around the hybrid and she returned to her casual outfit, then she gave a goodbye and turned to leave... She'd heard enough. Cambia was just going to turn around and leave after all that? She was being impossibly stubborn, and the Knight wasn't going to stand for it any longer. She moved with a blinding speed, reappearing in front of Cambia before she could take another step. "That's far enough. You couldn't get away from me if you even wanted to. You used up a lot of energy."
She began. "ON ME.", she added, voice slightly raised for emphasis. But she had then calmed down. "If you continue pushing yourself, you'll only get yourself killed out here. Especially by running on an empty stomach. So, we're going to find a spot to make camp. And I'm going to feed you. And we're going to talk more.", she declared. Her tone of voice was firm, and her stance showed conviction. "Furthermore. While you're in my company, you will refrain from any acts of crime. Or need I remind you again how you attacked me and I spared your life?"
With that, the Albino Saiyan took Cambia by the hand and, if necessary, dragged her along to a spot that was perfect to make camp at. "This will do. Now. You're going to tell me where you're heading. And if you say 'west'. I'm going to point out you have no actual destination, and thus you'll be in no hurry to leave. Don't bother trying to sneak off, I can sense your energy.", she stated. Whether Cambia liked it or not, they were going to spend some time together. The Albino Saiyan seemed intent on holding her to that.
"If you decide not to run off, I'll let you pick what you'd like to eat.", she then said. Surprisingly, Atsuko was already calm once more...
The hybrid blinked and growled as her doppelganger reappeared in front of her, her hand immediately going for the hilt of her sword out of pure reflex more than anything else, her other hand charging Ki before she grumbled and released both. Cambia shrugged at the pushing yourself on an empty stomach remarks. "I'm used to it. I can go for another couple days before I need to eat." she said as if it didn't really matter. "I'll have found a town or something by then." she said trying to assure her mirror image and continue on her way.
She grumbled when she was taken by the hand. "Hey, I don't go looking for crime... some jackass wants to start something, I finish it. The amount of guys out there who can't take a no for an answer've been dropping quite steadily since they hit on me. Plus a girls got to do what a girls got to do to survive in the world. Even if others think that something like me surviving in the world is wrong." declared the hybrid before growling.
"And the less religious types in the world the better as far as I'm concerned." she said as she sat herself down against a nearby rock at this camp site of Atsuko's. "Don't know about you, but I've found myself woken up by priests or monks on at least five occasions, all of them who tried to "purge" me of my demonic blood, usually through attempted burning or attempted flogging. And ten times where they've tried to just straight up kill me, oh sorry, "banish" me." the hybrid said bitterly with some air quotes.
Then came the destination question again. Cambia shrugged once more. "Don't know an exact place. All I know is I'm heading west. Closer to this Kami's place I get, the less demons there are... and the fewer people who want to try and kill me for what I am, the better in my books. Neither side's all that happy about freaks like me." she briefly explained. She did chuckle though when the mirror girl tried to declare her inability to escape her. "Really? Funny that." said the hybrid as she closed her eyes and concentrated. Her physical demonic traits slowly disappeared as she descended from her transformed "true" state, the fires of her ki slowly ebbing away as well as she suppressed it, leaving her with about as much readable ki as a gecko.
She looked at the girl with a smirk. "Picked that trick up about ten years back. Comes in real handy with people like yourself." said Cambia. At the doppelgangers offer she perked an eyebrow and looked around her from where she was sitting. "Unless you've stashed the food inside that cape of yours, I don't see how or where you're gonna be offering a choice in food for both of us." the hybrid declared.
