The Stargazer approached planet Saiya at rapid speeds and Toru could feel the tightness of his heard as he approached the planet once known as Brench. Once upon a time this would be considered enemy territory, and in some sense it still was... he wasn't here to cause trouble of course but he was still the outsider, as usual, choosing to follow Komatsu's creed instead of that of Nasu's. It was a pity that those two couldn't see eye to eye... in many ways they were similar, they just needed to find some sort of even ground to meet so that they could get along again...
All of that didn't matter just then, Toru was holding his breath as he sent a message to the communications center on planet Saiya, warning them of his arrival, who he was and all those wonderful questions they were asking of him. He honestly expected them to blast him down but found himself quite surprised whenever he was given permission to land.
"One of these days these guys are going to give me a heart attack... should I transform into a Super Saiyan when I land..? I don't want them to think they can rough me up when I get there... hnnnnnnngggg mom would be so much better for this kind of thing..." Toru groaned as he ferociously messed up his own hair as his ship began it's decent. He still wasn't sure what he wanted to do here, but he felt he needed to be on planet Saiya for a little while...
Whenever the ship finally landed, he sucked in a deep breath before stepping outside, ready to transform at any given notice if anything out of the ordinary greeted him...

This situation was strange. A ship had entered Saiyan space, and had identified themselves as Toru. This had immediately brought up feelings of resentment in with Tomina. Toru had played a part in the Alliance-Empire war, and fought for the Alliance. Tomina had an.. encounter with him within the Empire’s dungeons. Tomina smiled at the memory of that. <It didn’t bring back the things I lost, but it sure as hell felt good. I love being able to manipulate fire. It makes torturing so much fun. And it’s already fun enough as it is.>
Tomina typically was very professional about torturing others. She didn’t go out of her way to torture people for her own enjoyment. She enjoyed doing it, but she always did it with a goal in mind. The only time period she tortured for personal reasons was right after the Alliance-Empire war ended. She was so furious and had to take it out on someone. Making Natto’s family suffer was her only grip on reality for a little while. Tomina made her way to Toru’s ship, contacting the Saiyans who were monitoring things.
“I want you to keep scanning for other ships and power level signatures. If there’s anything unusual going on, you let me know immediately. If this is a trick of some time, I want to be ready for it.”
"Rodger that Captain. Nothing will slip by us."
Satisfied with the answer, Tomina ended the connection. She got within sight of the ship. She touched down ten feet away from Toru. He still looked the same he did 8 years ago. Well, almost the same anyway. He had more scars than he did when they first met. Tomina was pleased that the Empire did indeed make him suffer for what he did. Tomina on the other hand had grown quite a bit since their last encounter. She wondered if he would even recognize her. Tomina crossed her arms, looking at him darkly.
“Unless you intend to join the Galactic Kingdom and go through the screen process for that, then you might as well get back your ship and return to wherever you peace-loving bunch are living. Considering who you are, you’ll likely gain an audience with him. But it’s going to go nowhere if it involves Natto’s nonsense.”
Tomina wasn’t bothering to hide her full base power. Toru was strong himself, so she needed to make herself look as strong as possible as well. It was a good deterrent to prevent him from making a move against them. Although Tomina suspected that he wouldn’t. The Saiyans that followed Natto’s ideals were a weird bunch, and Tomina knew how they typically acted. She waited for Toru to make a response, waiting to see if he would remember her. Things would get very interesting if he did.

As soon as Toru exited the ship he was greeted by a familiar energy, one he hadn't felt in quite some time and it caused the half saiyans eyes to narrow and grow dark. He didn't move as if he was fearful of this energy but he suddenly looked completely different than he normally did. His friendly, happy go lucky attitude seemed immediately swept out from under him as he looked up to see a Saiyaness there to greet him. He had never seen her before, at least not like this... but this saiyaness' eyes he remembered quite well... they were older but they were still so full of hatred. He had looked into them many many times before, always refusing to give her the pleasure of looking away from her.
"Well that explains a lot, so the Empire's still kicking is it? Well, beyond Caesar's prisoners. I'd hoped you died when Planet Vegeta was taken over, just another dream you took from me I guess." Toru said coldly, stuffing his hands into his pockets and staring at her intensely, standing in front of the Star Gazer defiantly.
"The Saiyan Galactic Kingdom is the home of all saiyans is it not? So long as I'm not a threat to my nephew's ideals then there's no reason for any of you to stand in my way. I'm here to visit a friend, not that I really need to explain myself to you. You going to try and stand in my way?" He asked coldly, starting to walk forward now, pulling an Earthling looking set of keys for his pocket, aiming it backwards towards the ship and pressing a button. The ship would beep as it locked itself down and Toru returned the set to his pocket as he walked towards Tomina, aiming to walk right past her unless he was stopped.
'Hopefully I can find Karota easy enough... damn it why did she of all people have to be here... does Koma even know she's still kicking around? This changes things...'

Tomina grinned at him coldly when he made it clear that he recognized her. He was shying away from her, so he had no shortage of courage. He was keeping his eyes fixed on her, and she liked that. She liked that he was weary of her. Not that she blamed them, considering their last encounter.
"You’d liked to have thinked that I had died, wouldn't you? You must have been relieved when Caesar wiped out what remained of the Empire. He ended up doing your dirty work for you. Although he turned around and blew up Natto, so you don’t think of him highly anymore, if you ever did at all. No, I was offworld at the time. I was following orders. I was confident that the Empire could handle things. If I knew how much they would screw up, then maybe I would have returned. They should have killed you and the rest of you Alliance trash after they had their fun. I’m going to have to clean up the mess they left behind some day.“
Tomina’s grin faded from her face as he walked closer. For a moment, it looked like she wasn’t going to move. She stood as still as a statue, impeding the current path he was taking. Then at the last second she side stepped out of the way, and fell into pace right beside him.
"What happens to you depends on your actions. I have no intent of impeding your progress this time around. You are Nasu’s uncle, so I have to give you bit of leeway until he says otherwise. I’m just here to make sure you don’t try anything funny. You can try and visit your friend, although I can’t guarantee you’ll run into them before Nasu comes. The Palace has already been alerted to your arrival, so you’re going to encounter him before you leave. If that’s too much for you to handle, then I suggest you leave while you still can.“
Tomina walked right next to Toru, her eyes trained ahead and away from the Saiyan. Tomina has no idea how Nasu would handle Toru’s presence. It came down to whether or not their blood relation would be enough to keep him from harm. Tomina personally hoped that it wouldn’t, but his fate wasn’t hers to decide. That privilege belonged to King Nasu.

"Hardly, prisoner to one tyrant or another, doesn't matter in the end now does it? " He said coldly, never stopping even as it seemed Tomina wouldn't move, he was ready to turn into a Super Saiyan and blow her back with his ki if he needed too, seeing as that would cause the least amount of damage. (even though he wanted to cause a lot!) He continued walking towards the very faint signature of Karota, having trained himself to pinpoint hers specifically as she was so good at keeping it hidden. He couldn't sense her from off world, but here he could pick up traces of her energy and they seemed to be focused around the palace.
He then rolled his eyes when Tomina started after him, speaking as if she was some high and mighty guardian of the Kingdom and Toru couldn't help but roll his eyes as his gaze shifted towards her in annoyance, not quite able to see her behind him but looking in her direction none the less.
"You're a pest, what kind of trouble could I get in too? I made my approach obvious, requested landing and let everyone know I was here. If I wanted to skip the radars I could have. If I wanted to avoid Nasu I could. Let him come find me, if he wants to speak with me then I'll gladly do so. You really aren't as intimidating when you aren't holding a chained up 5 year old at your mercy you know." He said as he lifted himself into the sky, powered his ki up around himself, so much so that he was freely making his presence known before flying off towards the palace. He knew Tomina would follow of course, but he hoped she'd just stay behind.

”Imprisonment, death, or other things. Those with power and the winners decide the fate of the weak and losers. That’s how the universe has been and always will be. I imagine you aren’t scared of any of those possibilities because you can’t imagine Nasu being as cruel to you as I was. It’s dangerous to make those kind of assumptions. You could make a mistake so damning that you may end up wishing you were back in that dungeon.”
Tomina followed Toru into the air, keeping pace behind him. Tomina had the same sentiment as Toru did towards her. She rolled her eyes after his words exited his mouth. Alliance Saiyans were always annoying at best.
“It could have been a deception on your part. Make us focus on you while an invasion force landed on the planet. You said so yourself didn’t you? You and the rest of your lot have ships sophisticated enough to have cloaking devices. All they would have to do is suppress their power level and you’ve put yourself into quite a good situation. Although even if it were just you infiltrating things, it wouldn’t go as smoothly as you think it would. We’ve taken measures to detect and neutralize intruders, even if there’s no ki signature to sense. We can’t be too careful, especially after recent events.” Although now that I think about it, that isn't your way. You're all insistent on maintaining that bullshit "ciivilzed Saiyan" image. I was Natto's message to Lettis. He outright told her what he was going to do if she didn't stop. I guess it makes you feel better about yourselves when you do things "honestly and honorably."
Tomina snorted at the crap that Toru flung at her. Honestly, it would be laughable if it weren't so insulting. Alliance Saiyans put themselves on a pedestal, claiming that they were better than the “barbaric” Saiyans. It really was getting old.
“It’s funny that you bring that up, cause I was thinking along the same lines as you. I didn’t think you were that scary when you were screaming like a five year old in our dungeons. Oh, I’m sure you were terrifying to the Saiyan warriors you betrayed and the bystanders who inevitably got caught in the crossfire. You think that fighting for a noble cause and wanting to live in peace makes you better then then the Saiyans who love war, but it doesn’t. The war you started ended up killing it's share of five year old Saiyans born on Vegeta. Or at the very least you made them into orphans when you killed their parents fighting in the war. Don’t act so high and mighty when you’ve done equally horrible things.”
The air was getting rather tense, although Tomin’s ki wasn’t flaring up. Nor were her hair and eye colors changing. Both of those were signs that she was losing control of her emotions. So she didn’t seem to be in danger of losing control. They continued flying towards the palace, Tomina keeping pace so that she was always the same distance from him. Far enough to give him some space, but close enough to act if she had to.

Literally out of nowhere an energy, a very strong energy, could be sensed arriving at an absurd speed. The person’s signature was hard to read, because, in a sense, it still felt rather off, almost as if the person had just risen from the world of the dead, something Toru was quite familiar with, but certainly not Tomina. And while Karota was really far from where they stood, this overwhelming energy came crashing down in between the two of them creating a large crater in between. From the crater a man stood up, absurdly tall, reaching as much as 7 feet tall and with such a bulky build that he towered over most men and saiyans. His tail was swaying on his back and his long mane was covering most of it, going all the way down to his waist level. Other than his hair and tail, the man had no other cloth on him, standing there proud and naked, with his eyes locked onto Toru, who would definitely recognize his shit eating grin in an instant: it was Miso, coming back straight from the afterlife thanks to the science of the Kold Demon Laufey.

”Hey ya piece of shit! Heh! Missed me? I would ask what the fuck are you doing here, but I guess you will tell me regardless.” he said with a chuckle, but then he stared back to see Tomina and his eyes seemed rather surprised for a moment, but he didn’t lose his grin. ”Ain’t you a familiar face? From the looks of it you are part of my team, am I right? If so, please tell me which freaking rank I hold right now because I’m trying to pose authority to this brat here, but I’m having a hell of a hard time not knowing what the heck I’m to be called. Heh.” he chuckled a bit more, almost as if he didn’t have a care in the world.
Miso was back and soon enough his energy signature would be recovering the life in it and people would be noticing the highest ranking official of the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom was back to full throttle.

"You're an idiot kid and obviously don't know anything about the war, or what happened before it. For Kami's safe you people were always so entitled and opinionated. Just buzz off would you? I don't need to explain anything to the likes of you." Toru stated in complete irritation, struggling to keep himself from snapping at her and blasting her. It might not do too much, but it would feel good to vent, something he hadn't been able to do ever since he was released by Jarvis from the Empire prisons.
He just continued to move, listening to every step Tomina took and his eye twitching in response to the irritation of her following him. He finally stopped in his tracks, turned to face her, then BAM there was a naked man standing between them. Toru had to blink several times, raising an eyebrow as his gaze traveled from Miso's nether regions (Where he could see Tomina's face moments ago) to his face. He couldn't help but crack a grin and actually laugh at the saiyan in front of him.
"Miso! Shit have Saiyans from the Kingdom forgotten how to get dressed??! Can't say the sight's much different than this brat's face mind you~" He chuckled, his mood immediately lightening at the sight of Miso rather than souring. Most people would start to tremble when faced with such an imposing figure, but Toru... he still felt attached to the friends he had made in the Alliance, even if they were now part of Nasu's Kingdom. Neither saiyan faction had gone out of their way to attack each other just yet, so there was no true reason for them to hate one another, they didn't need to feel the way Komatsu and Nasu did about one another.
"I just came to check up on you and Karota, I can still do that much right? Last I checked it was just Nasu and Koma that had it in for one another." Toru noted, smiling brightly up to the naked man. He would have offered him one of his garments, but anything of his would just rip and make the situation worse when put on Miso's body.

The situation changed in an instant. The moment Toru finished talking, Tomina’s power skyrocketed just before she vanished. She appeared right in front of Toru, which would likely force him to stop in his track. Her hair had turned a dark orange that looked almost red. Sparks crackled around her as she glared at Toru with her golden eyes. The very air around them seemed to be burning from her aura. She spoke to Toru in a chilling voice,
“I don’t take orders from filthy Alliance scum. You’re the one that knows nothing. There’s a difference between not knowing and not caring about something. I don’t care how horrible the things we did to you. You all chose to be traitorous scum. You all knew full well what Lettis was like, and yet you did it anyway. I fought in the war! My comrades died in that war! In the end, all was left was nothing.”
Tomina moved closer to Toru so that she was only a couple feet away from him. Her soul piercing eyes staring into the other Saiyan’s. The head emanating from her was intense at this close distance. It felt as though one could catch fire at any moment.
“I’m going to make things perfectly clear for you. Feel free to say whatever pops into that delusional brain of yours. Just know that I’m going to remember everything you said today. You may have a free pass this time around, but if you intend on opposing him, then Nasu will consider you an enemy. And when that day comes, I will pay you back for what you owe me. Remember this power well: for I will only get stronger and stronger from here.”
Tomina was hoping to provoke Toru into attacking her. If he made a move against her, then she could immediately claim that she had been attacked by him, and justify her response to it as neutralizing an enemy. Suddenly, the approach of a powerful and familiar ki signature made her eyes widen. It had just appeared out of nowhere. When Miso showed up, Tomina powered down, and moved to the side so she was no longer in Toru’s path. She gave the newly revived Saiyan a salute. If she was thrown off by him being naked, she wasn’t showing it.
“Welcome back to the world of the living, Commander in Chief! I served under you during the Invasion of Natto. I’ll be happy to be under your command once again.”
Tomina kept her eyes on Miso’s the entire time while standing at attention. She didn’t look down during the entire exchange. She wondered why he felt the need to hurry that quickly to here without putting on any clothing. There was only one foreign Saiyan on the planet, so he didn’t need to come in a hurry. Was it to make things calm down between Tomina and Toru. That was certainly another possibility. Whatever the reason, it wasn't her call, and she had no influence on Miso’s decisions. The best thing to do was just to go with the flow.

Miso heard the title he held and that made him chuckle a bit, as it threw him back to the Empire days, but not as wicked as it was. In a sense, the nostalgic feeling pleased him and he nodded acknowledging the information from Tomina. He also remembered her from that time and that made him laugh a bit louder. ”Oh yeah, the brat! I remember you know. You beefed up quite a bit, heh! Nice to see ya, maggot!” and he was being nice on his own weird way. Then, he turned his attention back to Toru, keeping the shit eating grin on his face. ”I was dead. We don’t come back in our clothes. Especially when they had been turned to stone by the demon bitch, heh. Even in death I fought them and for fuck sake, they are stronger! Much stronger than me.” he said, but he didn’t show any concern about it. In truth, he was relieved they were dead and seemingly happy to be in hell, ruling over it.
Then, his smile widened as Toru continued. ”Well, of course you can, stupid kid, but hey, our factions are not allied anymore, so I wouldn’t blame someone from blasting you away, taking you for a damn spy. Speaking of which, how is Negi holding up? I thought the boy had the guts for some butchery, but I was wrong!” he casually said, as if he didn’t quite mind that the hybrid boy had apparently betrayed them. Even though he had just come back, Laufey feed him up with some bits of information, enough that he knew the bigger picture.

Toru simply looked at Tomina with the most unimpressed gaze he could muster, it was wuite clear he wasn't having any of her shit, and wasn't about to let it rile him up any further. She was just some dumb kid who knew nothing about the workings behind the war, as most soldiers didn't. She had been there to fight, and fight she did. She saw her comrads die jsut as they had seen theirs. He could respect the fact that she represented the complete opposit side of the same coin but... god damn was she ever annoying!
The heat she was emanating irritated him, reminding him far too much of the time he spent in that hellish prison. He couldn't help but flare up his white aura in response to her heat, the two simply clashing without ever exchanging blows.
Finally she was done speaking and got out of his face, turning instead to face Miso and Toru chose to take a few extra steps away from her. He really just wanted his personal space back. It was annoying to not be able to punch her in the teeth for being so in his face like that...
When Miso spoke though, he knew he spoke the truth and nodded his understanding. Of course he was seen as an enemy, but a spy? Hell he'd be a pretty horrible spy if he made sure they knew he was here. Again had he tried to land stealthily and got found out, then he could understand that.
"Well, maybe that's Hell's exclusive wardrobe then? Because when I got back my gi was good as new! Better than new, actually. You sure they weren't just taking advantage of the peepshow down there? hahahaha" He kept up his own smile, never losing his goofy grin while Miso was around, much like he wasn't losing his shit eating grin. Even though Miso was naked, this felt familiar to him, like the times Miso would spent teasing him back on Natto waaaaaay back in the day.
"Don't worry, I get it. I just wanted to check in on my friends, enemies or not. It's not like I want to ever have to fight you guys, and not just because you'd kick my ass. Have you checked on Karota yet? How is she?" He asked while making sure to stroke his ego just enough to keep him grinning. It was true enough that Miso could kick his ass in a 1v1 fight, but it wasn't like he wouldn't give the brute a run for his money now.
It was odd to think that training under your nephew could actually make you so much stronger... Kids these days...

Toru didn’t even say another word to her. Her just pressed back against her energy with his own aura. He looked more annoyed than intimidated. She had spent hours making sure that he suffered in the torture chamber. She had become so much stronger than she had since then. So why wasn't he afraid of her? Probably because he assumed there were still people that would protect him. Like she had told him though, that wasn’t going to last forever. Tomina knew that if she stayed here any longer, she would only get more mad. She locked eyes with her commanding officer once again. She wasn’t the only one who was going to completely disregard the other one.
“It looks as though you’ve got things under control here sir. You seem to know our guest much better than I do, so my work here is done. I’ll see you around, Commander in Chief. Although for both of our sakes, I should probably see less the next time around. We wouldn't want Karota getting the wrong idea.”
Tomina tried to lighten things up somewhat to calm herself down, although it only did so much for her. She gave Miso a salute before turning and flying away from them. What business that guy had with Karota was none of her concern. Unless Nasu told her that it was her concern. In which case, she would come when called. Barring that though, she would have to wait some more. That was fine. She had already waited 8 years. She could wait a bit longer to crush her most hated enemies.

Miso chuckled a bit more when Toru correctly assumed he went to hell. Truth be told there wasn't any other place fitting for someone with Miso's deeds and even though he wasn't the worst person in the world, he was still considered pretty bad at least to the gods of creation's standards. "Well, I suppose. I mean, It's not like I ever went to heaven, maybe you can tell me more about that, you little goody-two-shoes piece of shit! Heh!" he shrugged, teasing him with his normal mildly annoying demeanor. He wasn't antagonizing Toru, not at all, it was just the way he was.
Still, his grin faded away when he asked about Karota. Miso took a very deep breath and then sighed, scratching the back of his neck. "In all honesty, I just came back from the dead, so... The answer is no. If you wanna talk to her, you are free to go... I... I will take my time. I think she is enough pissed I kinda died so... I'm... Well... Never thought I would say that, but I'm gathering my guts to come and apologize for dying." he admitted with a bittersweet expression on his face: relieved he was back, frustrated he actually died.

"Hahahaha well Heaven isn't exactly how you think it is. It's... weird, but I'd much rather that then even think of what hell must have been like, especially if you ran into those 2." He admitted, laughing along with Miso as he teased him. He had gotten so used to Miso that he could tell when he was being aggressive and then just being himself. He had this odd feeling of calm settling over him just being around his friend.
"And hey, even if we're supposed to be enemies now... I'm glad you're back. An evil Kingdom full of saiyans just isn't the same without the hulking Miso around." He teased back, turning to glance back towards the palace and hesitating after Miso's words. If Karota was truly so pissed off it scared Miso, he wondered if he should bother to even go and see her... He figured it could be good for her to have someone she could vent too... but at the same time Miso was right, they were enemies now so she might take that frustration a little too far... He rubbed the back of his head, obviously nervous about it as his smile went lopsided.
"Hell seeing you nervous to talk to her is making me not want to go... She's your wife right? You should definitely man up and go see her. I mean, wouldn't your naked self be a pretty huge ice breaker?" He asked, his laugh returning as he lifted himself up into the air just a bit, ready to take off once more towards the palace to see Karota.
"I could also hold your hand if you needed" He continued to joke with him, though he really would go and see her alongside him, just... not holding his hand.
