Chris had simply been staying at the lookout, not permanently, but more simply to get reaquainted with things. After all it had been so long since he had last been here. So much had really changed. They were supposed to be going into the hyperbolic time chamber as well. The thought of that even put a bit of fright into him. After all, this was something of which he was going to be spending a whole year in the eclipse of but a single day. Simply to think, a year would pass, they would be a year older. Physically he may have looked it, but now mentally he was going to be an adult as well. The thought was purely crazy to think of. He was glad of one thing however, he now had most of his old friends back, Jie Shan, Galen, even his Cousin Komatsu. Then he also had her...Ulixes. She was practically everything to him now. Simply because of her, he had been able to get out of his stump. After his depression on the thought of the pain he had caused to his other cousin. Nasu. He at least had a made a name of himself to the saiyans of both sides...not many could say they had beaten Nasu in a fair fight.
His thoughts were interupted by a ping from his data pad, looking to the device on her arm he was quick to read it. It was detecting an incoming ship...not just any however. A Saiyan Galactic Kingdom one. His thoughts went back to what the Kaioshin themselves had said. Was it possible that the invasion was starting already? He had to warn Jie. He already knew from his spy on the planet that Nasu kingdom didn’t respect the thoughts of any race that wasn’t saiyan. So any kind of ship from said empire here? It never meant anything good. “Jie I got bad news buddy! A Saiyan Galactic Kingdom ship is on its way and should be arriving soon. We got to move out.” Chris would yell out hoping Jie had heard him. Only once Jie arrived would Chris begin to follow his datapad to an estimated landing location. There was one thing however he couldn’t help but be glad for. If this ship had been a stealth ship he most likely wouldn’t have been able to detect it on his scouter pad. Luck certainly had a way of putting things into favor. In sometimes the most suprising of ways as well.
If this was the beginning of the invasion...he could feel the rage pouring inside of his body. If this was the beginning of it truly. No one was going to like what they were going to see...after all he still had two techniques he had never shown anyone before. Techniques he was fully ready to use if this was Him...He would not let anyone harm his world...his home! Born a Saiyan Hybrid, raised as an Earthling, an Angelean Protector...he would protect this world to his final breath.

Thread PL: 123,672 Suppressed P: 250They were finally starting to close in on their destination. Rensu was growing kind of excited! A new world, one he had never been given the chance or order to explore no less. The legendary Earth. He had heard stories about the place from various sources. Between hearing about Carva having heritage there, and the Kingdoms many clashes with the warriors of this planet and more? It was only natural that Rensu was experiencing a heavy wave of excitement. New faces meant new battles and new battles meant more experience and growth as an individual. It was like a mission made in heaven for the lad. In fact, through the whole trip, he hadn't bat an eye in the direction of sleep. He wanted to remain alert and woke. Thus he did.
When they landed, Carva and he, Rensu sensed something was off. As if they were spotted. The power surges that had begun to ring his ears had told him so. One was exceptionally powerful, though that was not to take away from Jie Shan. But, an average of two hundred thousand was barreling its way towards Rensu and his mentor. Actually; No! They were ready and waiting judged on how they had just become stationary. Rensu couldn't back down. He had just arrived and already had to fight. It really was a curse and blessing to have Saiyan blood, wasn't it.
The youth exited the ship first. Before Carva, he would be the one to greet Chris and Jie Shan. The young Saiyan standing out and coming forth. Silent at first, as it would have had been far more positive to wait until he was addressed. “...”
Carva remained as cool as ice as the smaller ship moves through space, heading toward a destination he once knew very well. Earth. He'd spent the first six years of his life there, living quite peacefully with a loving set of parents. But those parents had been killed, upon which would be the day that Carva's training as a destroyer would begin. Of course he returned just last year having escaped his Uncle's grasp.
He sighed as he looked down, his thoughts returning to the poor Orin monks he'd slaughtered that day. Carva loved battle...he loved to kill. But he wasn't such a huge fan of needless killing and nothing was more needless than what he'd done to those poor Earthlings. A look of remorse showed in those dark eyes as he stared out the window, Earth's brilliant blue radiance lighting up his vision.
He was part Earthling...in a way, that planet was his home. He felt no need of destroying it or harming it's inhabitants. True he would recon for Lord Nasu but he mostly came along to reconnect with his roots. He needed to find answers...answers to Questions unasked before the incident with the android. He scowled...everytime he used that transformation she'd unlocked, something inside of him died...something darkened more and more.
He needed that Earthling...the peacefull one. Those senzu beans wouldn't hurt his situation either, but he needed his wisdom mostly. He'd dressed as an Earthling warrior, powder blue hair top, his orange dogi pants tucked into a pair of black boots and his wrist weights condensed to look smaller. He meant no harm for once in his life but would be prepared to fight if need be.
He was born on Earth. Calmly, Carva sat back and steeped his fingers against his chest. Rensu may have tagged along with the old Saiya-Jin, but Carva might as well have been a million miles away mentally.
His thoughts would travel to Tomina. He hadn't cleared anything with the woman before he'd left, and why? Because he never thought she'd understand. She'd tell him not to go. But there were questions that the darkening Saiya-Jin had to ask.
As Rensu stepped out before Carva following a gentle landing, Carva slowly stood up from his seated position and grunted. His shadow could be seen, and what an imposing figure it was...muscles on muscles, built like a mountain. Tall as a redwood. He stepped down the landing ramp, each step heavy and thunderous due to his massivestature. Standing next to Rensu, he stared at Chris in silence for a moment. He tilted his head as he studied the man, his eyes following his features from head to toe. He'd remain cautious with this stranger as he'd never seem him before.
He hooked his thumbs into the white belt holding his haori shut and simply spoke in a calm voice. "I did not come here to cause trouble. I have simply taken an unexpected leave to figure a few things out about myself." His eyes moved slowly toward the direction of the tower, and he continued. "My name is Carva, First Rank Elite of the Saiya-jin Galactic Kingdom."

Chris's call rang out over the Lookout, Jie Shan's new home, a clarion call to action. When the call had come that a Saiyan ship was inbound, the Saiyan and Elemi hybrid turned Guardian of the planet had been nearby, taking a whetstone to the replacement sword that he had been using since that blue and pink monster had absconded with his. And though Jie Shan planned to get it back, there were more pressing matters.
An electric shiver ran down his back as the new came in; were they invading now? The defenders of Earth had not even had time to take to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to prepare for such dastardly landfall. Like a crack of lightning, Jie Shan shot to his feet and instantly sheathed the sword to be on his back. His eyes shot closes and he felt around for foreign ki; his mind stumbled across two foreign power levels, but they were utterly unimpressive. Were they even the ones Chris was talking about? At the very least, Jie Shan was almost certain that the interloping ship did not contain their ultimate enemy: Nasu, thrice damned king of the warrior race. Or what was left of them.
His own mixed Saiyan blood boiled, a single ripple of electricity coursing over his body as the Elemi blood in his veins began to heat up as well.
"Right," he grunted, "Time to see what this is all about."
He patted himself down, making sure he was ready to go for real in case worst came to worst; his black Earthling jacket and grey jeans had all he needed; he even had one of those magical little beans Galen liked to grow so much. Jie Shan hoped he would not need it. And with a final thought, he relayed a message to his Earthling apprentice: Dou Furu.
'Dou Furu,' he thought, 'Follow Chris and I. We might have the first wave of a Saiyan invasion on our hands. Grab your sword."
And with that, Jie Shan was off and following Chris. They cut through the sky like arrows and a third was trailing behind them now: his apprentice. Jie Shan followed Chris to the projected landing zone, lagging behind for a few moments while the other Saiyan had had a few moments head start. And even a few moments could be precious in matters like this.
It was only a few moments later, but Chris had already confronted the Saiyans; Jie Shan's heart dropped, but not in a particularly dramatic way. The young hybrid had been expecting. . . more. Instead, his own dark Saiyan eyes fell on a big lug in some gi and a puny kid in some battle armor. Not exactly the invasion force he had been expecting.
One of the Saiyans spoke with honeyed words, but Jie Shan did not exactly hear a silvered song of sound intentions. Funnily enough, he trusted the silent Saiyan child more; at least that one had come as Jie Shan expected him.
Jie Shan landed by Chris and stared hard at the Saiyans.
"Carva, huh?" He grunted, "Never heard of you, at least during my time with Nasu. The name's Jie Shan Lan Dian, maybe you've heard of me. Nasu has probably cursed my name a few times, same with my buddy here. But I'm done with the whole Saiyan stuff."
Jie Shan raised a hand and put it to his neck, massaging it and cracking it in one motion.
"Now? I'm the guardian of this planet. The Kami, they call it, but I'm not arrogant enough to go around calling myself a god, unlike some people," he continued, venom in his voice, "But it is my concern when two Saiyans, presumably loyal to the current scourge of the universe, land on my humble home."
"Tell us everything about your business here, the both of you," he barked.
Silently, Jie Shan Lan Dian's apprentice touched down behind them and waited while the the two four Saiyans conversed.
While little Lucy didn't say very much, she was always around on the lookout... okay not always, but most days! The lookout was the only home she had after all! It wasn't like she could go back to the Demon Realm on her own... The days she didn't spend on the lookout she spent flying around to the nearby villages, trying to help them out as much as she could with her quickly growing body. She was often times out in the fields helping the farmers either plant or gather, pending the seasons, or even helping out the local moms with babysitting! She really did all kinds of things to help out her new friends. She felt that doing all of this would help her one day become a better guardian... the more grounded she was, the better she could protect them right? Of course... barely knowing how to defend herself didn't help but... she'd get to that when she gathered up enough courage to actually talk to those that came and went from the lookout...
Today just so happened to be a day that Lucy was home, taking a much needed break from the hard work of her daily activities. She was inside the lookout when Chris called out to Jie that there was a ship from the 'Saiyan Galactic Kingdom' approaching. She didn't know anything about this Kingdom, but if that ship brought bad people to planet Earth like Jarvis, then it was her duty to investigate!
She quickly and quietly ran to her room, swiftly changed out of her lazy attire and into a proper armored outfit she had gotten from one of the blacksmiths. She wore a pair of black pants and white dress type of shirt with a black vest over top. On her arms and legs were attached a few basic pieces of armor, a few on her thighs as well as chest and back. While she wasn't in a full suit of armor, she felt better having these few bits on her person if she was flying into danger. Lastly she picked up her sword, a rather small looking thing but well made with metal taken from a fallen meteorite (again, all gifts!). She then waited a few moments to let Chris and Jie get ahead so they wouldn't notice her before taking off after them as well.
She stayed a safe distance away, even when they finally came upon this ship Lucy stayed high up in the sky, using what clouds she could find as cover, looking as if she was perched on top of them as she looked down to the scenario unfolding below. She still couldn't hide her ki, but little Lucy didn't even know that people could sense that magical energy flowing through her!
After meeting with his cousin, Hotato and his kold friend decided to take a break while they were not necessary. Instead of the mothership tough, the teenager decided to use his own ship as it was smaller and easier to conceal. Also, Blizzer had decided to go meet with the 'Kami' and the teenager didn't thought it would be nice to stay in the little kold's ship without the owner - "Well. Mine is cozier anyways...". The hybrid was, for once, resting on the bed inside his room, thinking on the things he lost during his one year exile - "So, Kimiko and Houri are MIA, huh? Couldn't feel none of the two here on Earth. That saddens me a little. Wanted to have known them better...above that, Natto is gone...never got attached to the place, but the loss of lives, and the disrupture of the Alliance...Koma and Nasu...damn you Jarvis. And the bastard is immortal, so not even killing him will do...maybe trap him...?"
The half-breed was trying to figure things out when his scouter suddenly sent an alert - "Huh? What can this be?" - and reaching for it he put it on and checked the alert - "Huh, a saiyan ship? Must be more people from Name-...wait...this signal is from...oh no". Reaching for the door in a jump and then speeding towards the exit, Hotato took off like a missile towards the comming ship - "The Kingdom. Why the hell would they come to Earth, I still wonder about that" - along his flight he felt two powerful energy signatures also reaching towards the incomming ship - "Well, there's this. Saiyans do love to fight strong people. But to risk lives in a war? C'mon Nasu, focus on the real enemies, like Jarvis, and leave alone those who don't wish to fight"
Arriving at the scene, almost at the same time the two power-houses, Hotato got most of the conversation - "Carva, huh? He sure have a strong build, and the rank looks important. But he doesn't look like a zealot, at least not to me...wait, Jie Shan? I remember this name from my Alliance days! He looks different though, is he the same? Anyways, he don't look that happy with this two arrival. I just hope nobody start anything...if they do...peace on Earth may go from threaten to non-existent...better interfere a little bit. Worked with Komatsu as a Giant Golden Ape, don't see why it wouldn't work here too". Getting near the two parties, Hotato talked his piece.
- Hi, my name is Hotato, great to meet you all - he says out of the blue to them all - Before we start getting emotional, let me try something, ok? - and he turns to Carva - I get it that you may have personal reasons to come here, but, being frankly, how can they not know you aren't here as scouts for the Kingdom? Or to start trouble and interfere with the peace on this planet? - the teenager crossed his arms and kept calm - See? It's suspicious, no matter how you look at it. Unfortunately you became part of a group that is, right now at least, seen with mistrust. But, if you want to get something from this planet I can try and bring it to you, or if you want to meet with someone I can bring that person to you. Would that be acceptable? - in truth, the hybrid didn't thought it would work just like that, but was a good way to figure things out.

Whilst Flare was off dealing with her own issues... Jax was sent off on her own. It was a request the bot was unfamiliar with. She had to rely on her own directives. The young flame wanted her away and keeping a lookout on the planet it seemed. For a while the bot roamed the earth on her own, taking in her planet and its details. Scanning and searching the lands. Most of Earth was organic and weak of power. The natural beauty of it all, as far as the bot could tell, was the reason Flare wanted to place safe in the end. That and its people were overall nice and peace loving dogooders.
Incoming powers would come and go all the time. It wasn't like her onboard scanners could pick up invading presences. The young Flame, however... From wherever that girl went, she could feel Jie, Chris, and a few other significant figures pool around each other. Around what seemed like nothing significant. The robot thought nothing of it but would soon receive transmissions from her maker to investigate. To find Jie and assess the situation with him. Speaking of which, the Kami would feel this red hot sensation at the back of his neck as the young flame invaded his mind with her thoughts. The tone not quip or witted as it once were.
["Jie. Is everything alright? You're not picking on kids are ya? Look, I'm sending Jax over to keep an eye out on things as well. Keep in touch. I'll be there if needed, so tell me what's up."] In all fairness it was the only one she trusted out of the pool of individuals to take her word for what it was and understand it. She wasn't going to yet pull back her mental link. Willing to communicate with Jie for the moment as she waited. Patiently. Flare wasn't going anywhere just yet, not unless things started.
Jax?
The robot started its way over as fast as it could, jettisoning cross the skies towards the point of arrival. lucky for hr it wasn't all that far away; East was her home after all. It didn't take long at all for the bot to intercept the gathered group and drop down near them. Almost silent in her descent she'd make a land down near Jie and ramin standing next to him, as explicitly instructed. The robot was quiet for the most part, watching with indifferent eyes. Only turning to Jie upon arrival to flash him a smile before assuming this tone.
Chris had simply stayed silent for most of the action going on as of now. Studying the situation as needed by him in reality. Frankly he didn’t trust anyone who so willingly allied themselves with the SGK. After all it wasn’t like they were being tricked into anything. They all knew full well as to what Nasu would seek to do. They would know of the atrocities he had committed and the ones they were willing to do well. He had seen it after all, seen the cold blooded murder, the genocide they had nearly caused to innocents. He could exactly just ‘forget and forgive’ something like that. Such a thing was pure evil, one he had still been trying to refuse that his race would willingly do. Sometimes the facts however just needed to be faced hard and cold. If he had to be the one to do so? ...Then so be it. As one of them approached him directly, standing considerably taller than him. Being only five foot nine after all, but frankly he had known for a long time size meant nothing, considerably most of the time it tall ones who fell the hardest. They even seemed to be trying to size him up as well. It wasn't exactly something he was appreciative of them doing.
Before he could beg to let himself have his own response, everyone arrived. It seemed they all had their own words to say. He would wait, wait and let them have their own words in before he would come to his own conclusions. Over which he would collect his own thoughts and selection, deciding on his own means of reasoning. For one he found this Carva incredibly suspicious, listing that your here not to cause trouble and yet to shout your an elite of possibly one of the most hated factions? Pure idiotic...and that was him saying it...the guy who head butted a super saiyan two as a child because of litterally yolo. If he was thinking of this guy as an idiot...that was just a whole new level of bad. Finally once the others were done he could get his choice of words in.
"Okay so first off aside from anything the others have said...you announce your here to do no harm and then yell out that you are part of frankly the most hated faction of the universe. No, not part of it..but an ELITE class of it. Which might I say...was BEFORE any of us had said anything! We hadn't even questioned you yet. Moving on to the second part, seriously just cut the act. I know your suppressing your energy. I've fought the elites and I know their strength is far higher than that and there is no way I would let you wander this planet with the power those elites hold. Nasu wouldn't let someone so weak become an elite. You know...I wonder how a certain Squad Commander Tomina would feel on hearing two of their Kingdom soldiers, an elite especially went off on their own as you say most likely with out permission or Nasu himself." Chris would say letting out his annoyance before letting one more thing out. "I truly can not see how you thought any of this was possibly a good idea..." Chris would say frankly with quite an annoyed look on his face.
Chris would turn toward the Saiyan who did arrive however, it wasn't one he exactly recognized, but considering the sound of disgust he had for the kingdom he was completely fine with him more words less than these two. "This guy probably speaking the most sense I've heard yet. I'm completely fine with what he says, however I'm giving them a time limit. They have until either Nasu gives them the command to come back or...until one his other elites comes to pick you two up themselves." Chris would say simply as he would open the data pad utility tied to a gauntlet on his arm, sending a simple message to Nasu. 'Why is a kid and an elite named Carva who admits to being part of your group, here on Earth! They also say they are here without your permission, next time if you have people coming on a covert mission...AT LEAST TELL THEM TO TURN A STEALTH DRIVE ON.' Chris would furiously type before his glare went right towards the kid. Slowly he walked towards him. "Kid, if your nothing like that idiot there please...why are you here as well? I've noticed you kept quiet which frankly already puts you a step up in iq then the other guy..another question..what is your reason for being in the SGK?" Chris would ask of Rensu, truly curious of why indeed they were here and why they joined such a faction...why any kid would want to willingly join such a faction was beyond him.
WC: 830 Sent Nasu a message through advanced Scouter
It seemed this new guy and his buddy weren't the only ones to be waiting on Rensu and his elite partner. His eyes narrowed some as he could feel a smaller power level come forth, behind Chris and Jie. It definitely was beneath his and Carva's. Roughly eighty thousand or so. But it seemed to stop and decide to refrain from joining the entire confrontation. Rensu opted on simply ignoring it for now. Bringing attention to something far away would only make him and his partner seem more and more suspicious by the minute. The youth's eyes opened a significant some as Carva tried to explain their situation. It seemed Carva really wasn't that amazing at reconnaissance and stealth. <Darn it, Carva?! You're suppressing and telling them you're an elite?! That doesn't sink up, they have ta' be suspicious!> The youth grunted and lightened up on his expression.
"Kami?" Rensu spoke out, now. Now that Jie Shan had properly introduced himself, Rensu kind of felt himself at an ease. It was weird, difficult to explain. He had a name for the potential case that this whole thing fell apart, and he and Carva were sent packing in bruises. Folding his arms, the youth walked forward and a tad closer to the two other Saiyans, as well as Mr. Lan Dian's apprentice. A casual smile on the youthful boy's face now. "My name is Rensu. Rensu Horyu, and I'm from Saiya. I guess the ship and that lughead over there kinda gave it away, though, huh?" He chuckled a bit and decided he would be cooperative. "Mr. Lan Dian, my elder partner here has some Earthling blood in him, and he wanted to learn something about his humanity...or somethin' like that? I guess it's kinda important to say we're not here to cause any trouble." He waved a hand conversationally, pulling it from beneath his arm and letting the other limb go to his side. For a teen and this being his first outing in some time, he seemed to be handling himself. Rensu periodically swapped eyesight from Jie to Chris. Being sure to peer into their eyes.
Rensu was curious to see yet another Saiyan. He opened his mouth a bit, curiously. Listening closely to this new face, too. He revealed his name primarily, though. Hotato. He watched as Hotato addressed his partner and mentor. Blinking, he decided he would allow Carva to answer himself. After all, the question was poised to him and him alone. Inf act, it seemed this Hotato character was more intent on retaining the calm and keeping violence from surging forth. Well, Rensu could certainly appreciate that much. The youth quirked a brow and tilted his head up. Looking to the sky, and apparently at nothing. But in reality, he was more trying to find and pinpoint the location of the small and petite Lucy. His eyes narrowing some, noticing her fruitless attempt at keeping herself concealed. Was she being serious? He had to consider her mediocre attempt a potential spy tactic. In the boy's mind, he had to assume the most likely. However, he didn't. In fact, he had turned his head down and resumed putting his view on the three titanic warriors confronting him.
<Jeesh. I didn't expect so many people to show up. But, I don't think Carva and I are in trouble. Are we? Nah, can't be. Couldn't be, either. None of these guys seem too mad or too interested in throwing fists. I think this peace with King Nasu is a two-way road, so if they attack us, then there are two outcomes: A. We get our rears sent back through space, and B. We end up having to fight these guys. I don't like either one, they're way too high,> Rensu thought to himself, pursing his lips a bit as he thought of all of this. Something popped into his head. It may have had been foolish of him, but something was urging him to say it. "Right. Personal reasons are both of our reasons. I wanted to explore. And it's tough when our King is one of the strongest and greatest in the universe," He began, praising Nasu accidentally. "But, I also wanted to learn a thing or two, myself. I, uh, wanted to get stronger and get some new experiences. I heard Earth was a mixing pot for learning. I guess being in the SGK is just in my blood. Where I belong. It's hard to explain, Mister." Rensu spoke, and his mind had instantly jumped back to when Tomina, herself, told him not to ever think of doing that. Doing this. From that thought, another one popped in now.
<T-Tomina's gonna kick my ass for this. I hope Carva got confirmation from her...> He groaned to himself, his tone low and he hoped to be less audible than they could hear. At the point that he realized this, Rensu would have rathered Chris and Jie Shan vaporized him right here and right now. There was no way he could survive the fiery Saiyan's raw fury. It didn't help that this guy knew Tomina. Be it Chris, Jie, Hotato or even the newly arrived Jax, they could all likely see how Rensu sort of shrunk and seemed struck with fear of the consequences of Carva's recon mission. Plus, a little bit of embarrassment thanks to him never shelling out for those stealth drives things they kept talking about.
He heard every word Chris said. "Idiot" he called him. Bringing up Squad Leader Tomina. Carva's calm expression soured a bit, yet he stayed diplomatic. Deep down, his anger was lit but he kept those thoughts to himself. <Tch. Who the Hell does this guy think he is? The King of Earth? Not to me...to me, there is only one King. But it is true...I did not ask permission to come here, because I didn't assume I needed it. Nasu doesn't want "robots". He wants men who can think for themselves. Unfortunately, I can't kick this guy's ass for his disrespectful comments. I didn't come here to cause trouble. Only I know why I am here.>
Carva raised his hands to his sides, resting his fingers on his waist. He tilted his head downward and shook it, keeping his power suppressed. He'd not suppressed his power to remain hidden, no. In fact, he'd done so as not to cause a panic on Earth...because at his level, he could do so. Yet, he would never. He just turned his head to Jie Shan, choosing to deal with the Kami directly rather than the man who had first greeted them...the rude one, in Carva's mind. He forced a smile, obviously irritated by Chris, but answered Jie. "It's nice to meet you, Kami. As for business? This isn't about business to be honest. You see, this is personally. And no, I'm not here to "destroy Earth!", which seems to be a common presumption." He shot a look at the do-gooder, Chris, then looked back at Jie. "I was born here, raised for the first six years of my life. Kidnapped by my Uncle when I was six, put through hell, came back...fought a little Saiya-jin girl, and some weird Fox Demon...left to meet our King. Never knew we had a King, but anyway..."
He cautiously pointed a finger toward Mount Paozu, where he once lived peacefully with his family. "I was born there, right at the Summit. My mother was a Saiya-jin, father a half-Saiya-jin. What I came here for, it is very personal..."
He sighed to himself, facial expression remaining stoic. He was taught to never show fear...and never let them see you shed a tear. But his eyes misted up a bit as they travelled down toward the most green grass beneath their feet. "...they are buried where our home stood...I wasn't able to stop my Uncle from murdering them when I was six. But I killed him ten years later, for vengeance...and every year...at this..." he swallowed back the lump forming in his throat. "...damn it...at this time, I pay tribute to them. I just thought that maybe I would do so in person this time."
He was a bit depressed, a bit different somehow...but he had to be. There was a deep, dark secret burning within the heart of the warrior. The "Evil Power Surge" had cast a shadow on his heart and he thought actually "talking" to his mother and father would set him at ease. The wind swept through his hair as silence took over him. Finally, he looked at Rensu sternly. "Tch...kid, I didn't plan on dragging you along for this but you look up to me for some odd reason. For the record...you never asked why."
He didn't have a problem with Hotato. This man had been quite civil, plus he didn't seem disrespectful of the warrior. He simply answered Hotato, his voice a bad as baritone. "Fact is, I'm straight and to the point when I speak. When I say I am looking for someone, it's true. That's right along with my parents memorial. The Human, Galen, I wish to ask him about Holy Water and it's effects on..." he grunted. "...a certain...mutation...of mine."
He could sense Lucy there, feeling her ki above them. He simply glanced upward, and not seeing her as a threat, his dark eyes focused on Chris. "I would appreciate it if you would stop acting like I've come here causing a ruckus. Nasu doesn't know my history because I've been too busy training and honing my skills as a warrior to talk to his majesty personally. This was just something I had to do." He looked at Chris and stated dryly. "So drop the riot act, galactic patrolmen."
Carva smirked, his voice taking a humorous tone with that last word. He saw Chris as a tattletale...and honestly? He didn't have an ounce of fear for the "guardian". Wc: 765

about Jie Shan Lan Dian
"Quotes are a waste of time. Actions speak louder than words."
Post by Jie Shan Lan Dian on Aug 20, 2017 11:26:17 GMT -5
The metaphorical clouds rolled in, a figurative storm brewing. Jie Shan had known flying over here that this encounter would not be a simple one and done passport check, but he did not expect this much trouble.
First was that little blonde interloper from the Lookout, following after Jie Shan and Chris like a lost puppy. She was hovering above, but Jie Shan was quite aware of her latent energy above. It was not hard to miss when it was so. . . big, especially for someone so young. But Jie Shan paid her precious little mind; so long as she was not set on interfering with the potentially violent matters at hand, Jie Shan would pay her no mind. No, the hybrid would do well to avoid drawing any attention to the girl at all, lest she become a target if the situation went sour.
Next was the arrival of an individual named Hotato who suddenly burst onto the scene out of nowhere. Jie Shan stared hard at him, his own obsidian-like Saiyan eyes glinting in quiet appraisal of the newcomer who suddenly decided he wanted to play diplomat. A nice gesture, to be sure, but it seemed pointless and if anything, only served to agitate the environment by suddenly adding another high power level to the equation.
This 'Hotato' would have been better off staying out of things.
But still, Jie Shan could not shake a certain. . . feeling. This Hotato and his ki seemed oddly familiar. Did Jie Shan know this new invader? Had they met once before? Jie Shan was almost certain he had some sort of passing familiarity with the man, but he could not place it. He furrowed his brow, but ignored; Jie Shan would have time to ponder this mystery at a later date; there were more immediate issues than figuring out his relation to passer-bys.
As if to distract him, a thought flashed into his head: a message from Flare. He had to smirk; the woman had a certain humor to her, even in potentially dire straits. And what was more: she was sending Jax over. Now that was something that he could agree with. "No worries, Flare," he thought, "Just some nobodies from the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom. Chris and I have this all on lock. Not that I mind that you're sending Jax over, of course."
It was not long before the bot landed next to Jie Shan and flashed him a smile, one that the hybrid quickly returned. "Nice to see you, Jax," he said quietly, "Looking as good as ever."
Barring Jax, who was a pleasant surprise, Jie Shan was forced to quietly clench his eyes shut and sigh with a hint of frustration. Why did so many people have to throw themselves into this business? It could have been so simple. . . Or as simple as something like this could possibly be.
Chris spoke next, taking part in some grand standing about talking to Nasu and some 'Tomina', much like a parent scolds a naughty child. Fair enough, thought Jie Shan, but it was nothing that Jie Shan would have done. The Saiyan halfbreed would have preferred to handle this without involved the biggest assblaster in the universe. But Chris could make his own choices, as much as Jie Shan disagreed with them. The boy was more or less an adult, far be it from Jie Shan to try and stop him or scold him.
Everybody had a reason for being here, it seemed. First was the kid: wanting to explore, but also feeling some bloodties to the current army of darkness in the universe. Fair enough. Jie Shan nodded at the boy and shrugged; the Kami could accept that answer and did so with nary a doubt.
The bigger Saiyan explained his reasoning next: he was part Earthling and he hailed from Earth, born and rasied, kidnapped by his presumably Saiyan and murderous uncle. And yet, Jie Shan noted, here he was: a member of the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom. Nothing good could come of that, even if this was supposed to be the man's homecoming.
But Carva mentioned another dimension to his journey: seeking Galen and the Holy Water. Jie Shan raised both his eyebrows in sudden curiosity. The Saiyan knew Galen? That guy, thought Jie Shan, the swordsman always seemed to be involved in some way. The boy's naturally amiable nature drew him to places he typically had no place being or to people he ought not be involved with.
When Carva had finally finished his pity party, Jie Shan took a deep breath and sighed. First, he pointed at Rensu. "Alright, Resnu," he grunted, "I can sympathize. I've been in a similar position. I'm not worried about you so long as you don't try and do anything sneaky. But all I can really say is: I was born on Natto before it got popped and I was once Nasu's hand picked Councilor, but here I am. Just remember, you don't always have to be bound by blood."
Jie Shan gave the boy a ghost of a grin and a thumb's up. It was hard to be mad with misguided youth. Especially when Jie Shan himself had once been one.
But now, Jie Shan turned his gaze back on Carva and his steely black eyes hardened.
"Okay," grunted Jie Shan, "First things first: if you intend to be a guest on this planet- and a guest you are, despite your birth- I advise you drop the tough guy act. I'm a lot less inclined to help a guy who is so brutish to one of my friends. All of us- and I do mean all of us- are gonna keep things civil, despite tense feelings. Right, Chris?"
"Now," he continued, "On to your goal, Carva. I am familiar with Galen. A good friend of mine actually, and he just so happens to work with me."
Jie Shan slapped a hand to his own chest. "Me," he said for emphasis, "The guy who is in charge of this Holy Water you want so badly."
"You two have got to understand our position here," he said, "Whatever your intentions may be, some facts remain, like your allegiance to a typically hostile empire. You can see why we're suspicious, yeah?"

The message was almost instantly received by the King of All the Saiyans, who picked up his beeping advanced red scouter and placed it on his left ear, quite curious as to who had the audacity of reaching him on his private channel; very few people had access to that code and most who had were people Nasu wasn’t on best terms with, such as his traitor brother and fellow underlings, as well as that annoying cousin of his, Ruttsu. For his annoyance, the later was the one reaching him and it started by asking why he had soldiers on Earth and, for a second, Nasu though that they had Kyabe into custody and that made him grit his teeth, but as he continued to speak it was soon revealed he was talking about Carva and possibly Rensu and that relieved him for a moment but still didn’t change the fact that the two went out of the planet without authorization. However, Nasu didn’t like Christopher’s tone or the authority he was exerting and it reminded him of the damn Spirit Sword he used against him, which nearly took his life.
”You would be wise to choose your words more carefully when addressing the King of All the Saiyans, Ruttsu, unless you want me to lay waste of this blue shit you call home. I’m carving for a reason. Just give me one.” he said with an angered yet serious tone; Nasu wasn’t making an empty threat and Christopher knew that well. ”Nonetheless, it’s true they are not in a mission and, if you people were real saiyans, I would tell you to seize them as you see fit, but you are not. I’m sensing the traitor next to you, how low can you all fall? Never cease to impress me, do you? Not in a good way though.” he scoffed, pausing for a second. ”Even though they are not within the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom, they are my soldiers. Should any of you lay a finger on them, I will wipe out everyone you hold dear. I will order them to return within the fortnight , and that’s as much as you will be getting from me.” and with those words, he closed the channel he had with Christopher and immediately turned on the private SGK channel, so that he could speak with Carva and Rensu, but alas, they had no damn scouters with them, and that made Nasu growl in anger. ”Bastards!” he roared.
Reaching another channel, a very private one thanks to the technological prowess of Laufey, he contacted Kyabe. ”Commandant Kyabe.” and the saiyan promptly responded. ”Yes, my liege.” he responded. ”Keep an eye on those fools. If they endanger themselves, contact me and order them to return at once.” Nasu ordered. ”Understood, my King!” and then the channel was closed.
Nasu sighed deeply and, focusing all of his mind upon the people there, he couldn’t help but to feel a quite familiar power who had been missing for a while. To make sure, he ascended to his Super Saiyan God form, which further enhanced his ki sensing ability and he was certain now: Hotato was there, alongside the traitors and that made him grit his teeth even harder. ”That motherfucker…” he spoke to himself as he began hammering his fingers onto the arm of his throne, thinking about what his next move should be.
Lucy stayed high up in the clouds, staring down at those gathering below. At first it seemed like it might just be a civil discussion with these two saiyans from the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom, but then more and more people continued to show up and frankly, Lucy wasn't sure what was going on anymore. She huffed lightly as she reached into her pack and retreived a notebook and a pen. She sat cross legged in the air as she began to write and doodle in it, constantly looking back down to the situation below to get a better reference point.
She had been taking notes on absolutely everything since she had found herself on the lookout, notes about people, about places and factions, anything she heard and learned, she wrote down in books. This wasn't a part of Nakiya's programming as there was even information on the Demon Queen stashed away in her room, this was just Lucy's way to cope with all of the information she was learning, as she learned very very quickly.
"Saiyan Galactic Kingdom... okay... so Mr Chris seems to think they're bad guys... but... Jarvis isn't part of the Kingdom I don't think and he was a bad guy... Are there two bad factions out there? These guys don't seem bad though so I"m a little confused..." Lucy muttered to herself as she marked everything down, circling names and then charting people's allegiances to one another from her memory. She didn't know much about current events, so this was her way of learning about them while there was no one to educate her on what was going on.
She started to float down closer to their location, using anything she could to stay hidden and out of sight. She wanted to hear what they were saying so that she could continue to write things down.
With the arrival of one more person, another one of those who Hotato couldn't read the energy, the 'meeting' numbered six people, plus the one hovering above without joining them - "Must be someone shy, or following commands from the Earth Defenders. Probably not a problem, best leave her alone" - gazing a Chris, who now spoke his piece, the saiyan hybrid could already feel his attempt to keep things civilized crumbling - "Wow. Angry much? Looks like this Chris had a hard time facing the Kingdom, specially against this Tomina". Then the defender did what seemed for Hotato 'Really Stupid Idiotic Thing to Do': he sent a message to Nasu. "I can-...urgh...even on Earth..." - he lift his hand to his face and sighes.
- NASU! Out of every possible high ranked member of the Kingdom, you sent a freaking direct message to NASU?!! - the teenager looks in disbilief to Chris - What have you got in your head? Why the hell the 'king' will even care about this? Should've tried Miso, no! Karota was clearly the best choice in this case. Hell, even uncle Miso was still a best choice than Nasu. At least I could talk to him and explain things properly! Argh...whatever. Harm is already done - he crosses his arms, tensed - "Hopefully things can't turn worse..."
But things got a little worse. Rensu finally joined the conversation and explained his motives and he seemed honest. Unfortunally... - "Sorry kid, but as a child invader myself, I can tell that this excuse of yours won't cut it. Specially when your friend made such a suspicious entry". Things tensed up when Carva, despise the polite words and the fact that he was born on Earth, somehow riled up Chris, who was already tending to just throw both of the members of the Kingdom out of the planet - "Tragic. If it's true that is. Not the kidnaping part, saiyans can be quite cruel, specially those born from the Empire, but...if he knows someone from here wouldn't be better if he had already called him? I don't think, no, I'm certain that this Carva haven't thought this trip of his through. Tch! And here I am without power enough to be heard...looks like even here on Earth things are decided by the powerful"
- Rensu and Carva. You guys are loyal to the Kingdom, right? What would happen if your king tells you to send information about Earth or create chaos for a surprise attack? - that said, Hotato calmly kept looking at them.
Then the Kami came to rescue. Jie Shan seemed way more level headed than his partner and talked to the little saiyan visitor, giving him an advise and his approval for Rensu to explore the planet, although not without a warning - "That seems unlogical and careless. I hope he knows what he's doing". Now, turning to Carva, the Guardian assumed a more stern aspect. The talk was hard and blunt, without measured words, really direct to the point. The message was clear: 'This is my planet and you have to follow my rules' - "Well...I agree that honesty IS the best way, specially when you have the power advantage". The Kami also let them know that he knows Galen - "Even better. Easier to confirm Carva's story now" - and that he himself was guardian of what the tall saiyan was pursuing - "Err...now that is just too much coincidence. Can call it Destiny already that this two would met"
- There! Just needed a little talk. And there I was thinking things could go wrong - the saiyan hybrid would say, a little annoyed but still relieved that things didn't took a turn to the worse...
Flare mentally groaned at the mention of that Nasu guy's faction. Another thing to worry about. Another thing to run in her already messed up mind. The news wasn't all great but apparently the Kami and Chris were dealing with it themselves. Jax'd be able to give her a full run down once the whole ordeal was over anyways. Jie'd hear her perk up again in his mind.
["Ahh. Scouting Party? Bearers of the White flag? Nah, Nasu seems too direct and proud for that stuff. Well, like I said, Jax should be there so... Yeah. She'll keep tabs for me. Feel free to chat it up with her and get her involved too. The girl needs to socialize. Or get used to it at least."] See, the thing was Flare wasn't even trying to be quirky. The young flame, even in some rather depressing times can find a way to muster up a bit of her comedic value. One would guess, without her knowing it, that she was falling victim to using it to ignore her other feelings. Did it work? Without being there in person others would be hard pressed to find out. Unless the kami was going to say something else that was on his mind to her she would shut out her projected thoughts and leave him be, off to do her own thing. Unless it was Jarvis again or anyone significant within the SGK she could trust Jie with it... So long as Jax was there.
Jax had looked at Jie with her smile persevering with his compliment. Some weird and unrecognizable feeling came out from it, something she wasn't able to put conclusive data on. It only seemed appropriate to return it at least since it seemed Jie was decent. At least to her.
"Thank you. It's nice to see you too. Is everything okay?" The robot was passive in her watching for the most part. other than the small greeting Jie gave to her the bot couldn't really feel herself asking questions. Not when all this information came at her side from all these sources. No, it was better just to take it all in and sit on the memory. So she let the boys talk it up. Cautiously watching from the sidelines with a curious gaze.
What she did get out of what was being explain needed context outside the situation, one Flare could possibly prescribe later. She withheld asking redundant questions still, wondering yet what this Saiyan Galactic Empire was. Holy Water. All these other names popping up, some familiar in her short time remade but others either fuzzy or unrecognizable.
Only time would tell how important this might all be.
